It's Tintin Day again! ✨ And Haddock's poor old back gives out under the weight of Tintin fact-dropping current events like it's nothing!
There's been a big upheaval in the Detective Conan fandom - a disruption to vital shipping routes, you could say! Thank goodness attention is elsewhere so Tintin can continue pretending several of his own adventures didn't happen! 🌊🛥️

What do you think of obito? Do you think that, if given care and time [writing wise], he could be redeemed?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is no hate to obito fans at all, but i genuinely hate that man. I don't even care that he was manipulated. not a single character reacted with enough anger, you cannot tell me gai wouldn't be fucking PISSED for kakashi because HE saw how guilty and suicidal kakashi was. HE dealt with the aftermath. (also if he knew obito helped with the uchiha massacre and the 9 tails attack..... gai, obliterate this bitch). kakashi would have been so angry both for himself, his fallen comrades and friends, AND MOST OF ALL rin. Rin's name being used for his delusions. naruto befriending him when he killed his parents was fucking bonkers as well.
But what REALLY made me angry was making rin know about everything he did and not having a SHRED of anger or disgust towards him. rin would hate him and deserved so much better than being an object for obito to obsess over when she didnt even like him like that
Every other character has handled loss, he lost 1 friend and flew off the handle
I hate so much about the war arc but this is probably top 2. I genuinely wouldn't have hated it as bad if everyone wasnt making him their BFF at the end and then died without putting in any substantial work. The lost potential too, he could have been a great antagonist if everyone wasnt sucking him off at the end and calling him a HERO

If the shading doesn't make sense here that's because it's entirely self indulgent like I just wanted to draw some colourful lightsaber lighting 😭

Rey made fun of me for wearing “a dress.” So I made fun of her for actually wearing a dress (Mom made her wear it).
Heh. Good times, good times.

I never watched any Star Wars, why is Reylo problematic? Is incest or what?
It's really not problematic at all. The films go out of their way to show that Kylo Ren takes it easy on Rey compared to other opponents and never actually tries to kill her. If you look at how their fights are choreographed he clearly has multiple opportunities to cut her down but doesn't take them because his goal is to turn her to his side, never to kill her.
Some people really, really wanted Rey to be the daughter of Han or Luke or one of their other favs as wish fulfillment and kept insisting on it even though there were clips out there of Daisy Ridley saying stuff like "Rey's parents aren't important" and "Have you seen the movie? Clearly, I wasn't (the daughter of Han Solo)" before The Last Jedi even came out and made it explicit that Rey and Kylo Ren/Ben Solo weren't related and the romantic tension between them wasn't in the fans' heads. The scene where they hold hands was literally described as "the closet thing to a sex scene in Star Wars" and people still act like them kissing at the end of TROS was "forced" or "out of nowhere".
People just had a massive hateboner for the ship because it was more popular than their ships, because they thought Adam Driver was ugly, because he killed their fav, because he wasn't a self-insert Gary Stu fanchild who was totally stoked about being related to their heroes, or because they projected an idea of Ben as a stand in for their toxic exes or white supremacists or incels or whatever group they despise the most. But in actuality, Ben is so soft inside being evil makes him miserable. The only reason he does it is because he's looking for approval from a toxic paternal figure who groomed him his entire life and took advantage of the generational trauma he inherited and even then he still can't help but empathize with Rey, long before she sees any good in him.

What are the best stories you've seen that have a theme of forgiveness? If not strictly about forgiveness, then any themes along the lines of retribution, redemption arcs, or even "seeing through another's eyes" (I may or may not have rewatched Brother Bear recently lol)
Well, we’ve got all my old standbys. Cinderella, of course, is a story that really has forgiveness in it, because Cinderella wholeheartedly forgives her stepfamily for mistreating her. (Actually, she might be “forbearance,” not forgiveness.) But they’re completely off her hook. I think there’s a really great moment of forgiveness between Nick and Judy in Zootopia that gets overlooked. Frozen, with Anna and Elsa. Brother Bear is a really great example, truly! I love that movie.
Tumblr media
I think some of my other favorites include the original A Star is Born, or even the Judy Garland remake. (Those also might be more “forbearance.”) I think one of the best examples I ever saw of forgiveness was in Avatar: the Last Airbender, which everybody knows:
Tumblr media
And of course, ‘Til We Have Faces and The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis have some of the best-distilled forgiveness moments in any stories, ever. There are sweet ones in The Princess and the Goblin by George MacDonald, too, though they’re not as dramatic. In Anne’s House of Dreams, by L.M. Montgomery, Anne’s repeated forgiveness of Leslie’s coldheartedness or rudeness is a really simple but awesome example of day-to-day forgiveness.
Tumblr media
I don’t easily think of a lot of good examples of it in stories. Brother Bear definitely has it, because without it, the story doesn’t work—Sitka wouldn’t help Kenai to learn from his wrongs, Kenai would’ve been killed by Denahi, Koda would’ve been left alone—but I don’t think forgiveness is the main focus of the movie. I think it’s a load-bearing component, but not the focus.
You’re making me want to see a movie that really homes in on that!
The thing is, I guess, for forgiveness to be the focus of a movie, there has to be a character that 100% definitely does the complete wrong, inexcusable thing to another character. Something that he deserves to be on the hook for. Then he has to acknowledge that he did the wrong thing and want forgiveness. And then the other character, the one who was wronged, has to willingly acknowledge that wrong and then let the offender off the hook. It’s not just “we’ll pretend this didn’t happen.” It’s both parties acknowledging that wrong was done, and having an exchange that ends in reconciliation. It’s got grace and mercy wrapped up in it.
Tumblr media
Not many movies have true moments like this. Usually, one character is super sorry and the other character just seems to brush off whatever they did with like, a callback to an inside joke or something. (I’m thinking if Treasure Planet, to be honest.) Or, the situation necessitates that they put their conflict aside and work together, and then after the day is saved they sort of “get over” all that and swagger off into the sunset together.
As far as “redemption” goes—gee, all the old standbys! All the ones I mentioned above, plus Star Wars, plus East of Eden (the movie, not the book) plus, of course, my all-time favorite movie, Lilo & Stitch.
Tumblr media
In Lilo & Stitch, you have the ugly little creature who belongs absolutely nowhere, is by definition a blight on nature and an abomination of existence, who was actively created to ruin everything. And he does it, and he takes delight in it. But there’s this little girl who gets pushed down, gets her doll chewed on, gets rejected when she’s most in need of his companionship—and she just keeps on loving him anyway. Because she’s chosen to, not because he did anything to deserve it. And then that infects him. That idea of family—of someone choosing to love you, no matter how ugly you are inside and out, and by choosing to love you, they create a place where you belong. No matter what. And that changes him. A germ from outside of him changes him from a literal world-destroying, home-shattering selfish monster into something new, something adopted, something loved.
Tumblr media
I’d call it a story about committed love and grace, not necessarily redemption—because the focus of the story isn’t really “Stitch does something wrong but then through a process of pain and transformative struggle, redeems that wrong.” That’s not the focus of the story. But it’s still “bad character becomes good.” And I can’t help but talk about Lilo & Stitch once you get me started on it, sorry!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think the best redemption stories are some of the ones I’ve listed above, plus East of Eden, Beauty & the Beast, and really, truly Sydney Carton from Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities.
Tumblr media
And I think Kylo Ren was well on his way to being one of the best redemption stories of all time, if TROS hadn’t fumbled the ending so clumsily—but that’s another post for another time! I don’t know if this satisfactorily answered your question, but it was fun to ramble about and I’ll tag you if I make another post as more come to mind.

MASTERLIST
Ghosts of the Past
How had it come to this? Years spent together, learning, growing, falling in love... all of it, corrupted by dark side of the Force. You and Ben Solo had dreamt of a future together, but where you had once dreamt of a utopia, you now found yourself living in a grim dystopia.
You had tried to forget him, but avoidance was impossible when his face was plastered across the galaxy on First Order propaganda. Each holovid or poster was a painful reminder of everything you had lost. It was heart-wrenching.
Eventually, destiny had reached you, just as it had reached Ben all of those years ago when he took on the name Kylo Ren. The Resistance had used Luke Skywalker's old notes from the early days of his Jedi Temple and managed to track you down. It wasn't an unwelcome invitation to join them, you had always wanted to fight the good fight, after all, that's what Jedi were supposed to do. Your real, and only, concern was that you knew eventually this path would lead you face-to-face with the one person you couldn't stomach confronting. Perhaps Ben knew you were alive, perhaps he didn't. Did he still care about you? You never let yourself dwell on these thoughts for too long. You couldn't bear it.
You felt fulfilled working with the Resistance. It was nice to know that you were making a difference to lives in the galaxy and you hoped that Luke would be proud of your efforts. Most of your time and energy went into working with Rey, helping her to become the Jedi she was destined to be. You were terrified of facing Kylo Ren, not knowing if you could face having to fight him. The least you could do was prepare Rey for that fight.
When the Resistance intercepted intel that Supreme Leader Ren would be planet-side, a snap decision was made to send an agent out to face him and end the First Order once and for all. Your heart dropped when Leia asked you to go instead of Rey. You knew Rey was far from ready. You knew you were the only one capable of facing him. And yet, it didn't make it sting any less.
'General, I don't know if I can do this.' You words were shaky at the mere thought of it.
'I know what I'm asking you to do, believe me. I wish it could be somebody else, and I'm sorry that it has to be you... but this is the only way.' There was rich emotion in the way Leia addressed you. She had known you since you and Ben had been together at the temple. She had been so excited at the prospect of her son falling in love with somebody like you, and she had treated you as one of her own since the day she met you. Now, all those years later, that hadn't changed. To Leia, you were family, and it broke her heart knowing the weight she was putting on your shoulders. But this wasn't just about you, it was about the galaxy. Deep down, you knew the truth. Leia hoped that you could pull her son back from the brink. Of course, the thought had crossed your mind countless times, but you had always hesitated to really consider it. The glaring fact was that Ben Solo could be lost and Kylo Ren all that remains. You weren't sure what would break you more, living in false hope or adjusting to a crushing reality.
'What if I can't bring him back?' Your voice was barely a whisper, and Leia's gaze hardened, but beneath her facade you could see tears brimming.
'Then you need to do what's best for the galaxy. We may never get this opportunity again.'
You repeated Leia's words like a mantra as your soared through hyperspace, nothing but your overbearing thoughts for company. You had to do this. You could save countless lives by defeating him. You may even be able to sway him back towards the light. Perhaps it was selfish to want him back so desperately. He had done awful things during his reign, but somewhere beneath the void of darkness was Ben Solo, the only man you had ever loved.
The intel you had was scarce, and that did little to comfort the persistent churning of your stomach as you approached Coruscant. Sources had informed the Resistance that Kylo Ren was visiting the planet with a battalion of troopers in an effort to restore order to the planet that was once the centre of the galaxy. Having been aligned with the First Order for some years, lawless groups had begun to overrun the core world; groups that only the Supreme Leader was powerful enough to bring to heel. The abundance of pirates and gangs was something you hoped to use to your advantage, not that you had entirely settled on your plan yet. You knew that stealth was the safest option. Sneak in, neutralise the Supreme Leader, sneak out and let them think that a rogue faction killed him. If only it were that simple... You would never forgive yourself if you didn't at least give him a chance.
As the hazy skies of Coruscant swept into your view, your gaze fell what you recognised as the abandoned Jedi temple - you recognised it from Master Skywalker's old Jedi texts. Attachment had once been a sin amongst Jedi, they saw it as a slippery path to the dark side. Ironic. Now, attachment was the only hope you had at returning Kylo Ren to the light.
You landed your ship in a public docking bay on the lower levels. Many were coming and going, it was an easy place to blend. Kylo Ren and his troops had been rumoured to be landing and starting their reclamation on level 5009 - they would start with the wealthier districts and work their way down. The lower levels were more than accustomed to the lawlessness that the whole planet was now enduring. You donned a simple hooded cloak as a disguise and began to slip through the crowds, using the Force to guide you towards the unmistakable signature of Ben Solo. The warm comfort that Ben's Force signature used to bring you was slowly ebbing away, a shiver ran down your spine the longer you locked onto his essence.
As you manoeuvred higher through the levels of Coruscant, your heart began to ache. Not because of what you were about to face, but because of what could have been. You pictured yourself roaming the upper levels with Ben, hand-in-hand as the sun set. Him with a rare smile on his face, you with a look of gratitude on yours. You had always sat together and spoken about all of the worlds you would one day explore. He used to brush a strand of hair behind your ear, tell you he couldn't wait to spend his life with you and then plant the most gentle of kisses on your lips. How could you not have seen it? Maybe if you had known he was being swayed by the dark side you could have helped him.
'You need to do what's best for the galaxy.' You focused your mind, repeating Leia's mantra. This wasn't about healing your wounds, it was about saving lives. You were just worried that you would destroy yourself in the process.
The reflection of shining white armour caught your gaze and snapped you out of your thoughts. You had found them. Small patrols of Stormtroopers littered level 4999 - Kylo was moving quickly through the insurgents. You had never known him to be so brutal. After spending a few moments studying the patrol patterns, you targeted a pair of troopers who were out of sync with the larger squadron. Throwing yourself in front of them, you tapped into the Force before they had a chance to react and used it to manipulate their actions. 'I am your prisoner; an insurgent who threatened to break the peace. You will take me to the Supreme Leader.'
'We will take you to the Supreme Leader.' Both troopers, now under your influence, spoke in unison. Playing the part, you placed your hands behind your back and one took ahold of your wrists as they marched you through the streets. You tried to hide your horror as you watched other troopers rounding up citizens and pirates alike, treating every living being as a criminal. Your fingers itched to grab your lightsaber from beneath your cloak and rescue the innocents, but you knew there was a bigger task at hand. You couldn't risk losing the element of surprise.
Your heart was pounding the closer you felt yourself drawing to Kylo, so much so you wondered if you would pass out before you got there. Your head was swimming. The last time you had seen him you had been in his arms, saying farewell before you went on an extended mission off-world. When you had returned, the temple had been demolished, Luke was nowhere to be found, and neither was the man who had your heart. It was only after that you found out the truth. He had been the one to destroy the temple... he had betrayed everything you stood for.
'Supreme Leader, we have captured an insurgent.' The troopers marched you to an isolated area where there was only a figure, cloaked in veil of darkness. You kept your head low, shielding your Force signature as your stared at his boots. Panic was setting in, there was every chance you would freeze when you saw his face.
'I told you not to take prisoners.' He growled, 'stop wasting my time and kill her.'
You bit back the overwhelming emotion you felt at hearing his voice and raised your head. 'I asked them to bring me here... to you.' Pulling your hood away from your face, your gaze met his and you nearly crumbled on the spot. His deep brown gaze was swimming with a darkness you weren't used to seeing, but what he couldn't mask was the flash of recognition upon seeing your face. His mouth opened, but no words came out.
'Leave us.' He eventually said, his tone losing its edge from his earlier command. The troopers scurried off and the pair of you were left standing in silence, like two monuments of a time once lost. After an eternity of heavy silence, he finally spoke. 'I thought you were dead.'
'It would be easier if I were.' Your voice was weak, but your stance remained solid. Nothing could have prepared you for this moment. Standing before him now, Leia's mantra was lost to you. You were either leaving here with him, or not at all.
'You shouldn't have come here.' His warning was delivered with a tone of remorse.
'I didn't want to. I wasn't sure I could face you.' You took a moment to study his face. A deep scar cut through the middle of it and a hard-set frown seemed to constantly rest on it. But he was still your Ben. You still loved him.
'And now?' He was reading you the same way you were reading him, you could tell.
'Now I just want you back.' A hand tentatively reached up to rest on his cheek, but he grabbed your wrist before it could make contact. Your world shattered.
'I don't have such weaknesses anymore.' He was stone cold in his address.  Your mouth went dry. A weakness? That's all you were to him now. He had the face of the man you loved, but Ben Solo was gone. What was left was a shell of the man you had grown up with.
'How can you say that? After everything we've been through?' You spluttered, nearly choking on your own words. The world felt like it was closing in around you - this couldn't be happening.
'We have been through nothing. You're an echo of someone else's past, not mine.' Upon hearing his words, your resolve only hung on by a thread. Despite all of your mantras and focus, you had been too optimistic that this mission would end in Ben coming home with you.
'Ben, please-' you hadn't expected the words to erupt from your mouth, but your lungs were feeling tighter by the second. It wasn't real.
'That is not my name!' He roared, pushing you back with the force in a violent flurry. Having not been prepared for the attack, you flew backwards, slamming against a wall. 'Ben Solo is dead!' You hauled yourself to your feet, ignoring the stabbing pain in your back.
'If that were true, why am I still alive? You said yourself that I shouldn't have come here. If you didn't care for me you would've killed me on the spot.' The pain had helped you regain some of your composure. You could feel the conflict within him. The dark side clouded his judgement, but maybe you could break through.
He faltered at your words, but shook his head after a few moments. 'I was giving you a chance to walk away, not a mistake I'll make twice.'
'I can't walk away, not without you.' Your tone was laced with conviction, 'I love you, Leia loves you. I don't want to be apart of this war anymore, I just want you to come home. Please, Kylo, come back to me.' You made a conscious effort not to use Ben's name again. Perhaps speaking to him as Kylo Ren was the only way you could appeal to him.
'My home is with the First Order. I will rule the galaxy. I feel nothing for you, I feel nothing for my mother. I have given everything I have to the dark side.' He remained still, the dark energy coming off him in waves. It felt like the Force was playing a sick joke on you, poking fun at the Jedi who thought she could turn Kylo Ren back to the light. Your knees buckled, grief overcoming you. Ben Solo was dead. You lost.
'If that's true, then I have no place in this galaxy anymore.' You whispered, your voice breaking.
'No.' He approached you, solemn as ever. 'You don't.' As grief continued to wash over you, you couldn't bite back the tears that began to fall. Not because you were scared of what was to come, but because you couldn't bear the guilt of losing Ben Solo to the dark side. You had failed. Failed Ben, failed Leia, failed yourself. The more you tried, the more you felt the imposing essence of the dark side, wrapping around Kylo like a viper, ready to strike at any threats. There was nothing left for you in this galaxy anymore. The hope of regaining what you had lost had kept you going for all of these years, but you had never considered a path outside of that.
The crackling hum Kylo's lightsaber rumbled by your ear. Your body was stone, even if you had wanted to reach for your lightsaber to defend yourself, you couldn't. All you could do was close your eyes and let the Force whisk you away to a time where everything could have been different.
'I love you.' Ben's words were music to your ears. You looked up at him, beaming from ear to ear.
'I know.' You leaned up to plant a lingering kiss on his lips. 'I love you too, more than anything. I won't be gone long, I'll be back before you know it.'
'Anytime apart from you is too long.' His words were muffled as he buried his face in your hair.
'It's a good job we have the rest of our lives then.' Your lips met in another passionate kiss.
It was the future that should've been. You and Ben against the world, needing nothing but each other.
Instead, your world ended in a vicious flash of red.

Lovers Mark | Kylo Ren RQ
Tumblr media
Kylo Ren x Reader Soul Mate AU. Cuteness. A bit of angst. No warnings just gonna be cuteness <3 Also it means a lot that I and other writers can make your life better and make you happier <3 I know it took a bit to get out and I do apologize but I hope you enjoy it, anon <3 It was my honor -Kitty  P.S Sorry for any mistakes!! <3 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You’ve been working for the First Order for a couple of years now and have come to terms that you were partnerless. Everyone around you already had Soul Mates minus a few like General Hux, The Supreme Leader Kylo Ren, and a few of the Storm Troopers. You were the only one that Kylo trusted to work on his TIE Fighter and that is how you came to find out that he had no soul mate. You knew you had romantic feelings toward the dark-haired ruler but could not act upon them for the fear of many reasons. One being you were still on the look out for your better half and another being he was intimidating.  Kylo Ren was always known for his harshness. His deep voice booming as he gave orders and his mask only making them more terrifying as he gave them, his temper was quickly set off if things did not go his way. He was known to destroy equipment or take his anger out on Troopers, Officers, and General Hux. But your thoughts of the dark hearted Prince changed when you caught him training, covered in sweat and breathing heavily as he fought with some trainees. He was in a black undershirt and his normal black trousers with his boots. There it was. The same shaped mark that you bare on your right forearm just below the bend of your arm. You hurried out of the training room and felt as if your world came crashing down around you. You were hyperventilating as your heart hammered against your chest so hard you thought it might explode out of your ribcage. It wasn’t until about a few days later when you were working hard on repairs for Kylo’s TIE fighter that you hadn’t noticed him walking up to check on your progress and to see why you ran out so quickly until his dark eyes flicked to your jumpsuit sleeves rolled up revealing a mark that was slightly covered by the ebony fabric of your uniform. No... could it be? He thought to himself. When you notice him standing a few inches from you, you jumped and smacked your head hard against the hull of his fighter jet.  “Su-Supreme Leader!” You managed to squeak out as you quickly pulled your sleeves down and wiped the sweat off your brow. “A-All most done, si-.”  “That’s enough. My chambers. Now.” Kylo stated before turning and walking faster than intended to his quarters. There it was. The suffocating feeling. You couldn’t breath. Your throat felt like it was closing and filled with glass as you forced your shaky legs to walk toward his room. You couldn’t stop the tears from pouring from your eyes as you covered your mouth to muffle the sobs that escaped you. Your whole body was shaky so badly you weren’t entirely sure how you managed to arrive without passing out from anxiety.  As soon as the door opened with a woosh and Kylo’s eyes were on you again he stood, his ebony brows knitting together in confusion at your emotional state, His heart twisting at the thought of what could possibly be making you cry like this. When the doors closed behind you he rushed over to you making you flinch. You say Kylo’s jaw clench making you feel guilty at the fact that you were cowaring in fear in his presence. He tutted his tongue as he brought his large hands up to cup your face, his thumbs brushing your tears away as he tilted your head up until your eyes met his.  “Please don’t be scared of me. I know I can be tough to be around and I am not exactly the one you wish to see but I must ask.. Could I see your mark?”  “Please don’t be mad?” Kylo smiled softly at your words as his hands moved to the zipper of your jumpsuit and unzipped it to your waist belt and pushed the top half down and took your arm in his hand. His thumb running over the matching mark. A big smile spreading on his face as tears swelled up along the waterline of his eyes. “Why would I be when I finally found you? My soul mate... I-I thought I was going to be alone forever. I could never be mad at you. I was just curious about your mark is all.” Kylo let out a sob filled chuckle as he pulled you close, resting his chin on the top of your head as he hugged you tightly.  Your heart swelled and you felt like you were floating on air. Kylo Ren was showing you a different side to him and you were lucky enough to be the one that was connected to his heart from the very beginning. Everything was falling into place and you never wanted to let him go. You finally had him. Your other half. Your soulmate. Your Kylo Ren.

I look at this man as just a little spiteful
"Don't act like this means nothing to you! You're the same as me!"
I see him being surprised by the MC, acting like an idiot and ruining his plans by running around after them
Kylo Ren - Star Wars
This took forever and I'm sorry. I hope you like it...and forgive me lol. It didn't quite go the direction you gave me...but it is fun.
Tumblr media
Rating: Explicit Fandom: Star Wars Pairing: Kylo Ren x unnamed!female!oc Warnings: sex. manipulation. use of the force. Un-beta’d! Prompt: "Don't act like this means nothing to you! You're the same as me!" Summary: She gets caught. word count: 2k
Tumblr media
It probably shouldn’t have been as entertaining as it was, but watching him react when she ruined another of his plans was hilarious. In a death-defying way. Like standing on the edge of a cliff knowing that you could fall. The thrill of it was enough to sustain her as she slipped away, listening to him scream in frustration.
They thought she was part of the revolution, the rebels that keep causing them trouble, but she’s never met a rebel in her life. Not that she knows of. Her desire for chaos and causing Kylo Ren problems stems simply from the fact that she can. He deserves it for what she’s seen him put others through. Especially when he can’t control his temper.
She’s a little surprised that they haven’t managed to find her though. She’s hiding in plain sight and you think with all the talk of how great the force is, he’d sense her. Maybe Hux had a point about hubris and the inevitable downfall of relying on outside sources. Then again, it’s Hux so he can’t be that right. She thinks they’re just looking for someone more menacing than she is. Like a more obvious threat than the woman who works with the cleaning droids.
It’s the arrogance that lets her slip by them with ease. That assumption that they can only be taken by someone they perceive as being strong. At least until she hears that each individual is to be inspected by Kylo Ren himself. It sends the crew into a panic. She tries not to roll her eyes at the dramatics.
When her name is called, she walks into the chamber with ease. It’s familiar, even if the man is not, and she forces herself to twist her fingers together in nerves. She keeps her eyes on the floor and waits.
“Who are you?” The voice is distorted by his mask.
“Maintenance, sir.” Her voice is steady even as she won’t meet his eyes.
The silence weighs down on her but she doesn’t give in, even though she can practically feel his presence increasing.
“Look at me.”
She lifts her head, eyes meeting where his should be. She expects to see the mask. Instead, she sees his face. Dark eyes, a strong nose and jaw…it’s nothing she hasn’t seen before. Just because she’s slipped under their notice doesn’t mean she hasn’t been paying attention.
He stares at her, eyes boring into hers. There’s a pressure in her head, like a growing headache, that seems to increase the longer he looks at her. She stares back, wondering how long this is going to take.
“It’s you.”
She blinks back. “I don’t understand, sir.”
“No. Don’t play games or attempt to lie. I know your mind. It’s you.” He pulls back slightly, just enough to make her feel like she can breathe again. “Why are you ruining my work?”
“What work?” She asks.
“What–” he cuts himself off, turning from her. She tries not to laugh, amused at how he’s attempting to control his anger. She expected to be dead by now if he was certain. The fact that she’s alive tells her that he’s not. “You know exactly what I refer to! Why are you being insubordinate?”
“Sir, I’m in maintenance. If one of the droids that you work with, that cleans your rooms, is failing, that would be part of my work. What else would you refer to?”
She feels the pressure before she’s sent back flying into the wall behind her. It holds her there as Kylo Ren stalks forward.
“Don’t lie to me!” he snaps. “Don’t act like this means nothing to you! You’re the same as me!”
He is insistent, she’ll give him that, but his lack of an actual explanation of his meaning gives her too much space to fill in the blanks. She just has to change her approach. “Okay, okay!” She meets his eyes. “Can you let me go? I’ll explain.” His confidence in his control is going to be his downfall.
He releases the pressure on her and she stumbles forward slightly, rolling her shoulders as she tries to ignore the lingering sensations of it.
“Tell me.”
“I am in maintenance,” she says. “And I have been…watching you,” she softens her voice.
“Why?”
“Because I couldn’t get the thought out of my head of what your hands might feel like on my skin.” Whatever he was expecting, it wasn’t that. She can see it with the way his eyes widen.
He suddenly scowls. “You are trying to distract me. It won’t work.”
“You wanted the truth,” she says. “I’m giving it. Just because you haven’t seen me doesn’t mean that I could ignore you, sir.”
In all her time here, she’s never actually seen the man with a partner. She thinks it’s because people are frightened of him, maybe due to his anger, but she knows he desires that contact, that connection. She can use that.
He looks surprised and confused, still trying to maintain his scowl.
“I’m sorry for any confusion or if I made you uncomfortable…” She glances away purposefully. “I just–you wanted to know,” she tells him. She steps forward, towards him and tries not to react when he startles at the movement. “I understand, sir if you want me to go…I won’t bother you again.”
She moves to leave only to be stopped by his demand.
“I did not dismiss you.”
She stops instantly, turning towards him. “My apologies. I assumed I made you uncomfortable.” She keeps her head down, even if she’s tempted to meet his gaze straight on, but moves to him. He doesn’t step away and she takes the chance to place her hand on his breastplate. “Unless…you’re not?” Now she looks up at him from under her lashes. She keeps her grin to herself as she pushes herself up on her toes and brushes the corner of his mouth with her lips. He’s practically frozen in place and all she needs is him to shove her away and demand she leave him.
The moment she pulls back though, he pulls her back, his mouth covering hers. He kisses her desperately. He has little style and technique and she tries to help, to ease him into it. Once he slows down, it actually starts to feel good. She’ll give him that, he’s a quick learner.
She takes the chance to show him how to kiss, how to nip at someone’s lip lightly, and how to deepen it without getting sloppy. She reaches for him carefully, feeling how he flinches when she touches the side of his face.
He takes the small things she offers with a desperation she can practically taste. He is incredibly touch-starved and it shows with how tightly he holds her, how he nips at her neck and grinds himself into her.
It’s surprisingly easy to maneuver him back, to push him to fall on his bed. He looks young with the way he stares up at her in awe and want. It’s almost enough to forget everything he’s done. She straddles him, mentally calculating how long this will take before he breaks and she can slip away.
He holds her carefully, as though he’s terrified she’s going to break or disappear from his grasp. It would be sweet if she wasn’t simply using this against him. She sits on him, slowly grinding her hips against his as she starts to try to figure out how to get him out of his armour. She ignores his gaze as he pulls down the zipper of her jumpsuit. She lets him, focusing on unclipping the large belt around his waist and his cloak. She pauses to slip her arms out of the sleeves of her worksuit before carefully peeling the gloves off of his hands.
“You can touch me,” she says softly. Sensing his hesitation, she grabs one of his hands and places it on her breast. She’s still wearing her support, but it doesn’t stop him from getting a feel for the softness and weight of them.
He pulls her down suddenly, kissing her hard. She grins against his mouth, amused at his effort to take control. She breaks it only to scrape her teeth gently against his jaw. She sits back up and undoes her chest support. His eyes widen the smallest amount seeing her bare breasts and she has to bite back the laugh. It’s too easy.
It doesn’t take much after that to get him to help her undress him. He fakes being confident well but she can see the slight tremble in his touch, the hesitation that mixes with desire in his gaze.
She takes the lead, moving back onto his lap and feigning giving him control as she lets him guide her hips against his. He’s hard enough against her that she could likely simply get him to reach his release like this but she needs him exhausted. It’s a bonus that she finds this equally pleasurable. She’s not sure if it’s the manipulation, the potential chaos or the way he actually feels against her, but she’s enjoying it. Hearing the leader of the Knights of Ren try not to beg while he’s under her is intoxicating.
She angles him herself before she eases his cock into her, wincing as his grip tightens on her hips. She’ll be bruised from this. She moans, briefly wondering why she didn’t attempt this sooner before she slowly starts to move.
Just like that…her control is lost.
He moves faster than she can comprehend. An arm around her waist and she’s on her back with him above her. She frowns slightly at the sudden change, unamused by the loss of her obvious control. It’s fine. She can still get what she wants from this.
Her head falls back, eyes closing as Kylo thrusts forward into her. She digs her nails into his shoulders, a parting gift to remember her by, not that she’d say that out loud.
For all of his inexperience, he learns quickly and uses the resources available to him. While he fucks her, muttering about how good she feels, he uses his mouth on her breasts, sucking marks and sending sparks down her spine every time his mouth encloses a nipple. The surprise though is the way he uses the Force. She’s felt herself be pinned by it before, she’s seen him move things and people with ease but she doesn’t expect the sudden pressure on her clit while his hands still grip her in place as he moves in her.
She cries out, the pressure suddenly breaking and she clenches around him as she reaches her release. It hits harder than any she’s had by herself.
He buries his face in her neck, teeth digging into her skin as he chases his own. He groans as he feels her tightening around him and for a moment, she feels the pressure around her building. Her hands are suddenly pulled and pinned by the energy he controls above her.
“Sir?” she breathes, blinking up at him.
“You asked for this,” he growls at her. “You watched me? This as good as you dreamed?”
She moans as the pressure increases. His control is impeccable. “Yes,” she breathes, knowing it’s what he wants to hear.
He kisses her again, hard and demanding as he increases his pace. She clutches him to her, digging her heel into his back as he moves. It doesn’t take long before his hips stutter and he groans as he falls into his release.
She lets him rest on her for a moment before she taps his chest. “You’re heavy, sir.” He kisses her quickly before he rolls off of her. She winces at the loss but lets herself breathe and the tension drains from her. She was close to another release but she doesn’t mind losing it.
He pulls her into him, to rest her head on his chest. She traces small patterns on his abs while she waits, making herself focus only on the feeling of lying with him and the satisfaction of her plan succeeding as she pretends to fall asleep until he does.
It doesn’t take long.
She slips out of his embrace, getting dressed quickly and quietly before she leaves his room, pausing only to steal a key pass. She heads straight to the docking bay. She needs to get out of here before he wakes up. The thrill of escaping before he realizes she tricked him is nearly as good as the sex was. She laughs as she slips into a supply ship with one of her droids. She only wishes she could see it when he realizes it.

You paced back and forth, waiting the arrival of their leader. You heard of the First Order and knew their leader, Kylo Ren, was ruthless. He was apparently known for letting his anger get to him that he'd destroy anything that was near him.
However, when he entered the cell, he froze. "Why are you here?" With his mask on, you didn't know who it was, so you gave him an answer you figured he'd be okay with. "Your people captured me. Said I would be a good edition to the First Order or something like that." He nodded slowly. "What's with the mask though?" He chuckled. "Still the same old (Y/N), aren't you?" You raised an eyebrow at his question.
"How do you know my name?" He clicked the side of his mask, watching as it opened. Once he took it off, you gasped and he gave you a small smirk. "Ben?" He sighed. "It's Kylo, now." You walked over to him and rested a hand on his face. "Sure, but you will always be Ben to me." He sighed and touched your hand that was on his face. "You know, you've been on my mind for as long as I can remember." You smile. "I could say the same to you." He let the mask slip out of his hand and when it hit the floor, you jumped slightly.
"We never actually ended the relationship, did we?" You shook your head. "I haven't been with anyone either." He chuckled before nodding. "Me either." You couldn't hold yourself back anymore when you kissed him. He rested his hands on your waist and pulled you closer to him, kissing you back. You felt his tongue run across your bottom lip and you gasped when one hand gripped your thigh, moving it towards his hip. You jump and wrap your legs around him, not breaking this kiss.
He pressed your back against the wall and you moan softly. He groaned and broke the kiss for a second to catch his breath. "I missed you, beautiful." You ran your fingers through his hair and tried calming down your breathing. "I missed you too, handsome." You looked down at his clothes and smirk. "You look good in black by the way." He snickers. "You're in for a surprise if that's the case, baby."
