[How exploring the Ineffable Husbands' dynamic in Good Omens can help us figure out what the show/book is all about, Part 1/?]

Also called: This human has, apparently, too much time on her hands and will be trying to Effable the Ineffable for [...] hours.

Ah, Hello! 👋

I'm ineffably delighted to meet you all! 😇

Let's cut to the chase and bear with me as we try together to analyze further the subject of the day:

Aziraphale is in love with Crowley and I am pretty sure he is aware of that fact BUT

[yes, there is a "but", do not erase me from the Book of Life just yet, let me explain first, homie 🥺]

I do not believe he can comprehend WHY he is just yet, and what that would mean for him in terms of... well... EVERYTHING he ever stood for.

It will also be the perfect roots to answer the biggest question yet :

What is Good Omens all about, exactly?

[Yeah, it's a tough one. When I say "bear with me", I really insist on the fact that it will be LONG. I will try my best to make it fun to read and to allow some "natural breaks" but know that I would appreciate your unshared attention if you're willing to give it to me. 😇]

Although, would you have the chance to ask him about it (probably looking at a cup of tea as we would all do in Earthy fashion), Aziraphale would have somewhat of an answer to give you, probably in the range of:

"Because, deep down, Crowley is the nicest being I've ever known."

Is it false? No, Crowley IS nice. Swaggeringly nice, occasionally unhinged, but still. Nice.

And that is somewhat the core of the... "problem" for our soon-to-be Supreme Archangel [Yep, the pain is still fresh, thanks for asking, you're welcome for reminding you 😭👍] because, as much as Crowley learned nuances due to past experiences (Falling being, most likely, the most traumatic one,) Aziraphale remains bound to think in absolutes. And everything relates to THIS perfect meme right there:

[Whoever you are, person/entity who has done that, you have forever my utmost gratitude and respect]

I'm far from bringing anything new to the table here, but to Aziraphale, Crowley should NOT have fallen in the first place. Because of how nice he is. Crowley IS an angel, to him. In fact, I'll go even further by stating that, to Aziraphale,

Crowley is more of an Angel than ANY Angel in the "Main Office."

Let's present our other contestants, shall we?

When he ruled, Gabriel was an absolute a** and had an ego the size of, idk, at least A DOZEN GALAXIES. He made Aziraphale feel like... well... poop most of the time they interacted.

That is why, in S2 when Gabriel/Jim tells him "I love you", Aziraphale, even being and considering himself a "creature of love", happens to be utterly unable to either reciprocate or take the compliment. At this moment, later enhanced when he reminds himself of the Job case, he realizes he is able to feel, if not hatred, NOT love NOR admiration for somebody he should somewhat consider a role model.

That is very important for Aziraphale's present and future character development, especially considering Gabriel/Jim's own fate, so please keep that in mind.

Michael? Oh God, Same if not worse: too condescending and ambitious in the wrong way to inspire anything nice to anybody.

Sandalphon just does what they are told but can totally throw a punch if necessary.

Uriel is mostly cold, occasionally cruel, and can also be physically threatening.

[I love the actress, though. Gloria Obianyo deserves a Ph.D. in Resting Bitch Facing for her performance in Good Omens alone and I'm here for it.]

S2 Saraqael seems to be more layered but has also been hurtful to Aziraphale (especially when she ironized that he couldn't possibly be the 25-Lazarii-magnitude-miracle caster).

Overall, S1 Aziraphale refers to the "Main Office" Angels as "BAD ANGELS!" after their hostile encounter. We could see from his face he would have wanted to use harsher words but couldn't get past his forgiving, decent nature.

Before we talk any furfur-ther [Am I proud of this so-called pun? A-BSOLUTELEH 😎🤭], let's add a really important stone/layer to our favorite Angel's thinking: to him, it is simple maths:

GOOD = RIGHT, BAD = WRONG

And let's save it for later, shall we?

[Killgrave dear is just here to remind you you can take a break anytime to drink a glass of Talisker if you'd like, or, more so, if HE'd like. Also because that character is THE best David Tennant role on television - 10th Doctor being the worthy third, I let you guess which character is our second now - and I might have wanted to use this gif just to be able to say that, who knows? *whispers* Mysssteryyyy...]

Anyway.

To a being like Aziraphale, who mostly thinks in dichotomy, being an Angel requires one main requirement: being GOOD.

[Buy a farrrrrm and be good! Not just "pretendy" good but. properly. GOOD! - NO, I couldn't find the gif and YES, I'm mad about it, but since I'm also unable to make one myself, I'll just shut it.]

That is why he refers to the Main Office Archangels as simply being BAD.

At that moment, they had been mean to him, threatening, and, by doing so, they became somewhat active in Hell's Armageddon project. Making them "bad" angels, but, more so:

Bad at BEING Angels.

Aziraphale, on the other hand, is, at heart, the penultimate goody-two-shoes: he does feel bad about himself whenever he does something bad/wrong such as lying (it has started to change, and I'll nuance that statement another time, but you get the grip).

He is constantly scared he might fall whenever he somewhat defies God's will or the idea he built in his head of what an Angel should be(have).

But have you paid attention to how his "Angelmates" NEVER seem to CARE about their own displays of, let's say "unconventional characteristics" for what should be the highest "Representatives of the sole concept of Good"?

Have you ever seen Gabriel or Michael being self-conscious about their narcissism and condescending tendencies? Uriel about their coldness? Saraqael about their sarcastic nature? Any of them about their use of violence? Of course not! They seem to be perfectly fine with it!

They own their characteristics, good AND bad.

Aziraphale does not.

Aziraphale is... soft. Even if he, at times, expresses regrets to be just that, he also applies it to his Angelic nature.

You know who else is soft?

Crowley.

Crowley is soft because he cannot kill children and takes it upon himself to LITERALLY DEFY BOTH GOD AND SATAN'S WILL TO SAVE SAID CHILDREN, including two annoying ones [especially the one who DARED to hit on Aziraphale but that is a topic for another day]

Crowley is soft because he cannot even kill GOATS.

Defying both God's and Satan's will to save kids? Yeah, eventually, okay.

Defying God's and Satan's will to save goats? Man, that's so effingly. more. powerful.

[Oh, look! A bird flying, normal thingy, nothing to see here, buh-bye!]

Crowley is soft because he proposes/"tempts" Aziraphale to "eat a spot of lunch", especially whenever his Angel experiences stress.

We have barely seen him eat, which might indicate he does not have such a strong taste for it personally. He only goes to the Ritz to enjoy Aziraphale's company and to watch him happily eat scrumptious, comforting foods.

[Okay, also because it morphed into a proper kink at some point but that is NOT today's subject, so stop trying to make me deviate from it! 😣]

Oh, and, before you bring that up, no, the alcohol motive is not relevant since he can, in all probability have a glass of Talisker in ANY sort of pub/restaurant in London.

[As a proper peated whisky lover who happens to be French, let me tell you this is NOT the case in my country and I'm super duper jealous of you, lads.]

Crowley is soft because he takes care of both Gabriel and Aziraphale's bookshop, even if it is clear he loathes the first and expressingly said he would not be a bookseller "even at gunpoint."

And, by "taking care of", know that I MEAN IT: he kept an eye on Jim, didn't wake him up when he heard him snore, answered any question he had, no matter how seemingly stupid they were [Even if Crowley, of all beings, cannot be anything but a raging "There is no stupid question, only stupid answers" representative] and offered him hot cocoa. As for the Booksho-P[uhhhhh *exhales in asthma*], he attempted to repair Jim's messy ordering twice and meticulously rearranged the place after ✨the Ball✨

[What do you mean, "he also Killgraved him into jumping out of the window?" HE ALSO STOPPED HIM FROM DOING SO, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. #NotBiasedInTheSlghtestIndividual]

Crowley is soft because he shares his Bentley with Aziraphale. Which is a VERY. BIG. DEAL. considering it was, at the time, HIS LAST ONE AND ONLY PRIZED POSSESSION.

[Should I mention that the Bentley FALLS IN LOVE with Aziraphale or is debating on whether or not that falls into the Oedipian complex territory off-topic? Yes, I'll see myself out.]

Crowley is soft because he rescues Aziraphale on countless occasions, even though, 99% of the time, that is pretty much unnecessary.

For real, guys: if Aziraphale had been discorporated in the course of his 6000+ years on Earth at any other given moment BUT on the eve of THE WAR with a capital "W", nobody in Heaven would have flinched.

[I do have a theory, though: maybe being re-incorporated takes quite a long time, which would have meant too many years apart from each other, hence the growing Damsel in Distress kink in Aziraphale, idk THAT IS NOT TODAY's SUBJECT, OKAY?!]

Also, Crowley is soft because "doing that makes him so happy".

Do you know who is supposedly "so happy" to save living things, aka GOD'S CREATIONS? Angels.

Crowley is soft because he rescues Aziraphale even when it is ACTUALLY ENDANGERING for both of them

He risked: his life, his pretty comfortable position "he carved out for himself", both his Earthy and Infernal homes sort of speak, AND EVEN HIS CAR to save his Angel's bottom/help him out in the direst situations (like stopping time to stop SATAN HIMSELF.)

[Also his past/present/future existence altogether, but the Bentley is more important, as I'm sure we'll all agree.]

[That is a Class A Protective/Helpful Husband, right there.]

Crowley is soft because he encourages Aziraphale to follow his passion for ✨prestidigitation✨

Even though he is pretty... amateurish at it. Not only does he encourage him, but he also HELPS him when he accepts to be his dashing assistant on stage.

[Yes, he does tell S1 Aziraphale to stop doing magic because he "has no idea how demeaning that is" but I'm pretty sure it was BECAUSE of S2 1941's events. Also, #WeStan1941Crowley here.]

Crowley is soft because he works pretty hard to make two humans he barely knows fall in love.

Yes, he also does it to cover his and Aziraphale's 25-Lazarii-magnitude-miracle lie BUT don't tell me his amazed expression when he thought he was about to witness Nina and Maggie actually falling for each other was not the purest, sincerest of all.

Finally, even if I could come up with more examples,

Crowley is soft because he saved Aziraphale's books JUST because he KNEW and CARED that Aziraphale CARED about said books.

That also, in Michael Sheen's very own opinion [as stated by Neil Gaiman in S1 GO DVD commentary], shared by many fans, and myself very much included, marks the moment

Aziraphale falls in love with Crowley.

[I DARE you to tell me THIS is NOT THE LOOK OF LOVE PERSONIFIED, go on, fight meh.]

So. WHY did it happen at that moment in particular? Well, because, first of all:

As a proper Jane Austen fan, Aziraphale is a slow burner.

Also, to him, an actual Angel, love is everywhere, so differentiating one love from another might be more difficult for somebody who can feel it whether or not it is even their own.

BUT [have you started getting used to my "but"s yet or should I harass you some more?] Let's go back in time to see how every previous encounter (that we know of) led to that pinnacle, shall we?

[Oh and, YES, this sort of essay will be long, and NO, I had no idea how much it would be when I started writing it, and still haven't, tbh 🤷‍♀️]

During part 2, we will also dive a little bit deeper into what Good Omens is all about.

The Halloween Update! (since we Mateo Vincent??? MATEO forgot to update the blog.) Part 5

Mateo is the one who is responsible for updating the website but as the last photo is his, allow me to do the honors of updating you with the finale of this... Je ne sais pas, this series? Oui, it seems to be the proper term. Mateo went in as this... hm, how curious. This is... a costume? Really? I thought he was wearing his usual outfit! Madame Ling went in as a nurse—which I was later told that she actually went as Nurse Joy from Pokémon (that surprised me), Kirra went in as Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn (Sasha a fait un travail incroyable!) And you're telling me that... Mateo wore a costume? This is a costume? Who is he even supposed to be? Himself? The colors don't fit him, he looks so... plain. Mon dieu, what a disaster. I thought he was an architecture student? Why is he—

Quoi merde—Mateo?!

Cabrón, chingas tu madre.You think you can just push me off the computer like that, homie?

The hit was unnecessary, connard!

And so is pushing me off the computer, so now I'm just giving you a taste of your medicine! Take that, tonto!

If there's anyone who's deathly bad at something, it's you and your idiotic fashion sense! Why not ask the new babysitter for fashion tips since you obviously need some, asshole!

(They continued bickering until Sasha put a stop to them both—or, more correctly, Vincent was taken away against his will as Sasha carried him on his shoulder, effectively leaving Mateo to finally do this job.)

Um... Sorry about that. You didn't have to see that, haha.

Anyway! If you ask me, I definitely had a blast at our party! It was just unfortunate that we weren't able to post videos and other photos besides the ones we have with our Little Wonders since we needed consent from the parents and the, well, sitter after party is, um... not really available to be disclosed to the public (let's just say that depressed adults are involved). But enough about that, let's talk about my lil' homies!

First things first, I love Pokémon. I still have my original Gameboy cartridges for Pokemon Blue and Red, I collect the cards, I've played all of them and I have very strong team compositions in all of my games! I thought that maybe the kids would like Pokémon and so I dressed up as one of my childhood heroes—Ash Ketchum! No kidding, I cried so hard when I watched him finally become the world champion from the episode from last year. There's news about the series finally ending, too! So it felt appropriate to give a tribute to my own personal hero.

I was planning to bring my very own 'pokémon' to the party (it was just a bunch of my exotic pets, nothing much) because the kids wanted to see them but I realized that, well, the kids are very rowdy and it would be hard to bring them. So instead I made little pokéballs for everyone!

As for my favorite buddies, I like to think that I'm putting them here because they're fun and chill to hang with! They're absolutely cute, passionate, and adorable, no one can resist these little troublemakers even if they make a mistake.

I absolutely adore Tala's sass and liveliness. She would talk to me about the Filipino telenovelas her moms would watch with her and I love her enthusiasm about learning about her culture this way. She's quite the conversationalist, too, as she never runs out of stories!

Jamie was livid when I gave him the pokéball I made and I know mi hombrecito would appreciate what I gave him. He reminded me of me due to his obsession with the action figure and cartoon character KAY/O. He's quite the lively and imaginative kid and I couldn't be more honored to have a little space in the little guy's head everyday and every night when he falls asleep.

And of course, who's going to forget lil' Sunwoo Byrne? Kid's got a huge appetite, she absolutely loves the sandwiches I made her before! I do think it's cute that both her and Jamie are fans of Pokémon given that they bond over watching cartoons and the like! Makes me feel secure knowing that there are still kids who loved cartoons as much as I did—do, since I still watch them now. They're just fun to be around with, you get me?

And unfortunately I was the last one in this batch. Maybe in the future we'll get to have another one to be included in posts like this? I don't know, but this was certainly fun to write!

I’m apart of the late crew today…but first things first, Life swings us all by our ponytails. This is not the big comfy couch. IRL & pixelated life can get it. ..BUT I’ve been peeping how JayJay moves and let’s take it back a bit when Hope was in her “I wanna fuck Kenji” stage…Do you see how that man handled that situation!? 😩 Like, he literally opened up the conversation (if my memory serves me correctly) then reassured our girl as he conversed/reassured her WHILE HE WAS IN HER GUTS. Slow strokes. Reassuring voice. Baby girl shed a tear. That hit MY soul. (Nonny, i get it if you don’t understand grown folks business…and THAT moment right there was DEFINITELY grown folks business OKAY! Sheeeesh) But, I personally don’t feel someone like/that can do THAT will risk it all for a student that so happens to know tHe CoLtRaNe CyClE. I said before, I know things be falling apart a helluva lot but I want us to be released from the shackles of not being able to trust someone that has pure intentions & a good heart because we’re used to seeing/experiencing the fuck shit. Shit, not to bring up our fallen homie El *pours one out for him* but see how Jay tackled THAT situation!? He’s not playing about our baby girl Hope Diamond.

he’s one of the good ones. You see the bullshit his mama puts herself in and he most definitely sees that too. Jay wants a happy home & a happy life. He’s had enough trauma & he’s not trying to invite that bullshit into his life. We gotta give him credit for that. That’s grown man shit right there. He had an active/loving father. He grew up in a loving household until his father passed. It’s all he talks about…the reason the man loves Coltrane is because of his father. He remembers that love his mom and dad shared. So when he’s staring at the back of Ubrite girls head at those keys, that man is zoning out to the sounds of Coltrane. And I’m pretty sure when he gets home he will run home like a lil school girl and tell his wife that he has a student that has talent & knows her Coltrane. He’s a professor, it’s his job to invest in his students.

There’s definitely piss in the pool when it comes to men but there are trustworthy men out here. Jay is one of those men. Not a gas light or manipulation in sight, Jay loves his wife and family. He is literally the happiest man…misery cheats. Also…also I feel that if it crossed his mind that’s a conversation that he would have with his wife, Jay communicates. He’s not impulsive. That man is a damn good man/husband.

So I’ve said all that to say, what makes you think that they aren’t living and experiencing their happily ever after right now and that he is doing his job to make sure he invests in his students because he wants them to succeed. Home girl popped up and turned in one late paper & all of a sudden black women can’t have nice things. LIKE!? I’m confusion. 😩 But also, every single good show leaves on a “cliff hanger” just to get the mind going. That’s good writing. That makes you want to come back to see what’s gonna happen and it always doesn’t have to be the extreme. Life is about navigating those situations…and that translates to this story *chefs kiss-ly*

Listeeennnnn, Imma ride for JayJay. Literally put on my ski mask and drive the black bus for anyone else who wants to hop on because I don’t play about that one. He’s proven thus far that he’s one of the good ones & I don’t believe his flesh or his mind is weak. THATS A DAMN GOOD MAN SAVANNAH!

but also My eyes perked up when I read “Would you like your plate to go” 👀? Because yes, I would like one also 😂…Girl (you know I’m not the anon because I say it with my full chest, always)…but lemme get a wing plate and TWO ghetosas to go! It’s been a loooong week. 😂😂😂

MEN WILL DEVOTE THEMSELVES TO THE HAPPINESS OF THE OTHER AND GIVE THEIR LIFES IN A HEARTBEAT JUST FOR THE OTHER TO LIVE AND IM SUPPOSED TO BE OKAY ABOUT IT

THEY ARE SO RIDICULOUS

their relationship is at the center of the entire novel, they are the slowburn, javier was the reason lloyd was isekai'd in the first place and it is javier that brings him back at the end

javier struggles so much to let go of his reticence to like lloyd but he can't help but be drawn to him, he can't help but to trust him over and over again, he can't help but start to think the world of him. if lloyd says so, then it must be so. and when he finally admits to himself that yes, that is his friend, and he likes him and he wants to protect him not because he's the master's son but because he's, well, him? he goes all in, he doesn't doubt even for one second to face heaven and hell to protect him, he wants to help him in any way he can and he's angry and frustrated and sad that lloyd doesn't let him

and lloyd. who is always working towards having an easy life. who's so tired and scared and who's been hurt over and over again and who's been given the chance to get the life he wants and has been working his ass off for years to have. and he rejects it because the cost would be javier's life and that is not even an option for him. he never even thinks about it, all his attempts, all his desperation, all of his efforts were always to save his own life. because to him javier's life was never in danger because lloyd wouldn't even consider the option of sacrificing him in the first place. he doesn't even tell javier about it because he knows that javier would try to die for him (and don't even get me started on lloyd thinking javier would only do it for the sake of the estate and his parents and not for him because he doesn't realize how much javier has come to care about him and oh my god-) and he can't allow that.

FUCK

i think people think i'm exaggerating when i say both of their life plans were to be at each other's sides for the rest of their lives and grow old together but i'm not. i swear this is explicitly said in the text.

they never even considered the possibility of being separated

they were going to be together forever just like they always were. casually. as naturally as breathing air.

I said in my original post this was my toxic trait... nonetheless I am SO glad someone took the bait 😈

I'm not going to post the link because I value my spotify privacy and also I have an embarrassing username that no one needs to know about. However, since you asked nicely (and let's be honest, I wasn't expecting anyone to care! so thank you!), I will share ✨ my personal top 5 shadowgast songs ✨ with a bit of context for each.

If you're just here to roast my music taste, bear in mind... I said toxic trait. Proceed at your own risk.

1. Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce

"If I could make days last forever / If words could make wishes come true / I'd save every day like a treasure and then / Again, I would spend them with you..."

This one has two meaning imo: first, early-campaign Caleb wishing he could change the past to save his parents' lives; later, Essek wishing he had more time to spend with Caleb. The original version is beautiful, but there is also a cover by Yungblud (yes, it's on the Hobbs & Shaw soundtrack) that's badass but a very different vibe.

2. Lilith by Halsey

"I'm perfection when it comes to first impressions / I romanticize and then I get to stressing / Big brain like I'm teaching at a lesson / Baby, it's a blessing..."

Every time this song comes on I legit yell ESSEK ANTHEM! because it is. This is the Hot Villain theme song. The beat is so sexy. The lyrics are on point ("I am disgusting / I've been corrupted / And by now I don't need not help to be destructive"). The vibes are just immaculate.

Look. I could write an entire essay about this one song. Wizard hubris, depression, and the crisis of faith Essek goes through when the Nein find out about his betrayal. Also, for those who theorize Essek is the unwilling chosen of the Luxon - he could, in fact, be "God's special mess".

Two characters who both think they are terrible people that don't deserve love, trying to be better and trying to better each other? And they fall in love? And they're narrative foils? No one is doing it like them! (Plus the chorus "You and me are drifting into outer space" just screams ~wizards in the star room~.)

5. All The Stars by Kendrick Lamar feat. SZA (album version)

I don't know how this song manages to be both broody and uplifting at the same time, but it is and it's perfection. It's the grimness of reality and the hope for the future, the refrain of "All the stars are closer" symbolizing all the possibilities that are now within reach.

Adam turns around, blowing his hair out of his eyes. "What? Hay in your pants?" He frowns sympathetically. "Been there."

"I - okay, yes, but also..." He trails off and looks down at the culprit. The chicken, who he thinks is the one Adam named Milton based on the black dot on his forehead, pecks at his ankle again. "Um. Ow, Milton!"

"That's Homer!" Adam says, offended. His shirt still on the floor, he leans down and scoops the chick into his hands. "Don't listen to Nicky, Homie, we can tell the difference between you and your siblings." He kisses the chick on the head.

"I hate how cute that is," Nick grumbles, but he reaches out and Homer climbs into his hands, curls up, and falls asleep.

When Nick looks up, Adam is beaming at him. "Homer loves you," he sighs. "Come on, let's go put him back in the chicken coop. The others will miss him."

Nick's never walked so carefully as they step over to the cozy little chicken coop he and Adam had spent some of the hotter parts of July building.

"Chickies!" Adam admonishes. "Jesus, Nick, your children are all over the place."

"My children?" Nick asks, cradling Homer to his chest. "Now they're my children?"

Adam giggles. "We built this home together, and now our children are running amok. See?" He leans down and scoops a chick up. "Emily's sitting in Virgil's seat. Keep them in line."

Nick kneels down, trying to set down Homer, but he pecks at his fingers until Nick picks him up again. "This one keeps eating me."

"He's imprinted on you," Adam says, sighing. "You're his father now. Give him kisses."

"I'm not giving the chick a kiss," Nick says. But he brings the fluffy ball to his face and kisses the top of Homer's yellow head.

"That certainly looked like a kiss," Adam says, and when Nick looks over he's covered in birds. "Ah! Maya, get out of my hair!"

Cradling Homer against his chest, he scoops Maya out of Adam's hair. "You have another one in there, too," Nick says. "This one's talkative."

"I think that's Sappho," Adam says, turning his head. "Yup. Hi, there."

The two of them manage to wrangle the chicks back into the coop, and collapse on piles of hay on top of each other.

"What a weird afterglow," Adam comments, spitting hay out of his mouth. "I don't think I've ever had sex and then chased chickens before."

"Unless you forgot to tell me something, you haven't," Nick says. He kisses Adam's cheek. "Come on. I'm hungry. Let's get a snack."

Adam jumps to his feet. "Every time, Nicky. Every time."

Tek's Birthday!

Resting her cheek against her knuckles, Rebel's eyes widen as she listens to Tek. Compliments, cash money, more reasons to shoot her a text. "Yeah, I can send you some pictures. Maybe, I can craft you a costume, since you like my work. You could be my mascot." With a flattered smile rising, and just enjoying the high of being around her, her stare is only interrupted by a spark of self consciousness. It was always in the back of her mind. Loving her...Rebel never stopped; but it just was never something that happened. Maybe that would change. Who knew? A conversation for a later time, perhaps, but, today was the day for the best mutha fuckin' birthday ever. Tek was her go-to, her best friend, the ride-or-die homie. She deserved as much.

"Oh, yes." With a big grin, Sierra looks over at her, holding the bowl of ready simmer meatballs. "Rebel made the butter. Get ready to taste colors." She lets out a small chuckle but her face soon turns serious. "...Wait, you're staying here, right? You're not driving home?"

Sitting back to enjoy the displays of shameless confidence, Siren cackles at the 'microwave' comment. This one was fun. A pity they never had the chance to hangout during high school, she could of seen them being easy friends back then. "Well, go you for getting your fuck on. But I get it. Breaking the tops is a special type of reward." She smiles over at her, flicking the cigarette over the tray. Though, the edge of her lips start to drop as she inhales another drag, her mind going in a less humored direction. "I get that shit about Ash, though. More than I should. She's a fucking swamp monster." The term being taken from Devin and stocked in the pile of ever growing phrases to refer to her as. "We dated, too, actually. Not that I'm proud."

"I wouldn't mind helping you set up a site or something too, if it really gets going! There's this girl I know that just makes keychains of nerd stuff and they sell like hotcakes, like ten bucks a pop!" Tek beams, her mind already racing with ideas. It wasn't just that it was Rebel—though that was reason enough to want to help—she really did believe in her talent. Even when she was in high school and they were being silly and playing dress-up, her costumes were always really well-made and she'd figured Rebel bought them. With a few years added on, Tek was only more impressed. And for what she knew, people were mostly ordering stuff online from randos, so why couldn't Rebel be one of them? She could personally vouch for her awesomeness on top of that. And with rich kids? She could probably charge more, too. It could be something!

It took a moment for all the wild ideas to stop ricocheting in her brain and bring her back into the moment, but she eventually realizes the rest of what Rebel said. "Be your mascot?" She laughs, mirroring Rebel by propping her elbow against the couch, resting her chin in her hand. "I could do that. But if you make me something, I'm paying you for it. Hey! I can be your first...Georg..ian?...customer! You gotta show off the product to make those sweet, sweet sales." The thought of putting up flyers full of pictures of herself while wearing one of the costumes tickled her, but the prospect of having to stick around a little longer to take them was appealing. Of course she'd stay longer if Rebel wanted her to.

"Shit, you have to. I don't think I've ever seen you totally shitfaced." Quinn laughs, staring up at Shaun. "Stay! Stay! Stay!" She pumps her fists in the chant. At some point, Shaun always seemed like she started to have the stick a little too far up her ass, so the chance to see her get messy was tantalizing.

"Uh..." Shaun had no idea they were about to get completely blitzed on edibles in addition to the drinking. She'd figured she'd eat some bread, sober up a little, and wiggle her ass right on home. She didn't know the bread would be full of weed. "I don't know..." Shaun unconsciously and inquisitively trails her gaze to Lilith. It was Rebel's house, sure, but for some reason it felt like her call.

Beatrix already had the cannon fully loaded to dive into the top conversation, especially with the implication of Siren sharing the hobby—shit, maybe Shaun did have one hell of an inflexible type—but at the mention of Ash again, she can only stare, flabbergasted. "Wait, what?" Beatrix gawks, her jaw nearly flying off its hinge. "Before or after Shaun?"

Her head was already calculating it, though, and besides that, Siren's hollowed stare said enough. "Jesus Christ...God damn it, I knew Shaun was leaving stuff out, that fucker." Aware she was leaking information just a little, she shrugs with a slight grimace. "I know a few things...believe me, she wasn't forward about it. But I did not know that." She sits dumbly for a moment, just trying to process the sheer depth of the dyke drama.

"What the fuck were you thinking?" It spills out of her brazenly. "Jesus, didn't you hear anything about her when you were dating Shaun?" Surely, her foray into dating a fucking 22 year-old when she was only 15 wouldn't have fallen completely off the radar. Especially so soon after their breakup. Beatrix thought it was demented even back then, and Ash had always creeped her out, even initially when she pretended to be decent—she just had a little too much of a To Catch A Predator vibe—but only being two years younger than Ash had been...even now, she couldn't imagine thinking of a 15 year-old as anything other than a kid. Not to mention how manipulative and psycho she was. Just the thought makes her outwardly shudder.

Look up traits of one and you'll be surprised. I grew up with one, I was also in a 7 year long relationship with one. You know how mentally fucked you get with one? You walk on eggshells, homie. Kate said, "I feel like I have to walk on egg shells!" You learn to do what they want to keep things happy, or as happy as you can make it while still feeling on edge. What did Kate do, more than once too? Things for Yelena to MAKE HER HAPPY. Spoilers!!!!! What did Yelena not do for Kate? I'll spell it out for you, BE THERE FOR HER WHEN SHE NEEDED IT MOST. You know what a narcissist also does? They'll sometimes give you the cold shoulder, yes I understand Kate did that and gave quick, cold responses. You know what they also do? They fucking force things when the other person CLEARLY isn't agreeing to it. Kate did not in any fucking way indicate she wanted Yelena to drop her LIFE for her. Kate understands one person's side, Yelenas side. She understands she has a process, she understands Yelena has a bunch of things she wants done because she's set and stone. You know what Kate wanted? One goddamn night. One. A single fucking night for her wife to BE THERE and support her for one. Single. Fucking. Night. Narcissists can be rash, guess who was? Yelena!!!!! I'm sorry I promise this is my last request for tonight but I am SOBBING laughing over the Etho Jester round, I don't even have a coherent story idea for this just more Etho Jester content please if you can spare it I can't BREATHE DHHFJDKS

god tht was the funniest round i've seen in such a long time, i hope i did that justice here lmfao

At the start of the round, Etho wanders around aimlessly outside the dropship for a while, before heading down to the left to see if he can find anyone. What he discovers is a body just inside the room underneath O2, but instead of reporting it, he just giggles and dances around the room, looking forward to having a little fun.

When Impulse shows up and gasps, Etho finally reports the body, still giggling like a child as the meeting starts and shows that Evil and Astro are both dead. “Okay, so I just saw Impulse kill Evil,” Etho says through his giggles.

“Oh, please!” laughs Impulse. “You know it wasn’t me. I just came up on the body and you were dancing around it like a madman.”

“I definitely saw Impulse kill Evil. He was like “Etho come over here so I can kill you” and I was like “no way, you’re the imposter!” and he was like “nobody will ever find your body” and I was like “you killed Evil, you monster!” and he was like-”

“Okay, so I think we’ve established that Etho is the jester,” Tango states, chuckling in confusion. “Right?”

“No no, I’m just a crewmate,” says Etho. “Don’t let Impulse get away with this or he’ll come kill me next!”

Impulse lets out a laugh. “Dude, I almost wish I COULD kill you. You’re being so weird.”

“If I’m being weird, it’s cuz I just watched you kill Endless- I mean Evil right in front of me.”

“Oh my god…”

“Okay, do NOT vote for Etho,” Tango says firmly, unable to stop grinning at his friend’s antics. “He’s 100% the jester and there’s no way I’m gonna hand him this win when he’s being like this.”

The meeting ends with nobody being voted off. Everyone leaves the room one by one, including Etho, who wordlessly follows Tango down to decontamination.

“What are you doing?” Tango asks warily.

“Just following my bestie cuz I know you’re innocent.”

Tango frowns. “Uh… okay…? Thanks…?”

Etho follows him all the way into the specimen room and hovers at an uncomfortable distance away from Tango, watching him silently as he does his task.

“Okay, Etho, you’re creeping me out, buddy,” Tango says slowly. “Can you back up a few steps and chill the hell out?”

“I can’t chill out; there’s no freezer on this map and I can’t get to the snow outside.”

“I…” Tango tries to find a reply to this but can’t. “Okay.”

Once he’s finished his two tasks in specimen, he heads back towards the office, followed again by Etho. The two go through decontamination and Tango heads down to the left, while Etho peels off into the meeting room and hits the button, bringing everyone to the meeting table. He finds himself looking at seven irritated faces.

“For the love of God, Etho, this better be good,” Tango says irritably.

Etho beams. “Hey, everybody! I missed you guys. Also, I saw Astro vent.”

A pause.

“Astro is dead, homie,” Skizz states. “Did you mean Joker, or…?”

“What?” Joker yelps. “Why me?”

“Cuz you’re both green. I dunno, I thought he might’ve just confused you two.”

“Nope, I definitely saw Astro vent,” says Etho happily. “And Tango definitely killed Evil last round.”

A pause.

“You- Didn’t you say it was Impulse who…?” Skizz blinks several times, his confused gaze darting from Etho to the others and back again. “I’m so confused!”

Tango bursts out laughing. “Etho, I have no idea what this is, but I both love it and hate it at the same time. I almost hope you’re NOT jester, cuz this is hilarious.”

“I’m a crewmate,” insists Etho.

“Uh huh, sure.”

At the end of the meeting, Skizz goes into the office to do the card swipe and finds Etho waiting for him. “You’re the jester, right?” Skizz asks warily. “Please tell me you’re the jester.”

Etho teasingly pokes Skizz in the arm. “Maybe. Maybe not.”

Skizz stares at him. “Boy, I really hope you are the jester cuz otherwise, you’ve totally lost your mind. Either that or you’re overplaying jester and you’re actually imposter.”

“Well, there’s only one way to find out, isn’t there?” says Etho mischievously.

“Okay, I’m actually really nervous right now, cuz you’re definitely big-brain enough to fake being jester,” Skizz says nervously. “Please don’t kill me.”

“Don’t worry, I’m not gonna kill you right here in broad daylight. Too risky.” He takes a step to the side and beckons. “Come down here so nobody will find your body.”

“Noooooo!” Skizz takes off running.

Giggling, Etho chases Skizz out of the room and up towards the laboratory, the latter screaming the whole way. They bump into Impulse just inside the corridor.

“Whoa, what’s going on?!” yelps Impulse.

Skizz hides behind Impulse. “Etho is being weird!”

“Impuuuuulse, go away!” whines Etho. “I’m tryina kill Skizzle.”

Impulse blinks. “Wh-What?”

Etho gives an innocent smile. “Stabby stabby!”

At that exact moment, a body is reported, and the three appear at the meeting table with everyone else.

“I saw Impulse kill Skizz right in front of me,” says Etho solemnly, before the person who reported the body can talk. “Impulse just walked in the door to O2 and murdered Skizz right in front of me.”

“Bro, I’m alive,” Skizz responds. “I’m not dead.”

“And we weren’t in O2, we were in lab,” Impulse adds.

“Oh.” Etho pauses. “Then I killed Skizz. In lab. Sorry, I got confused.”

Skizz stares at him with wide eyes. “I’m ALIVE, dude!” “Everyone else shut up,” snaps Brody suddenly. “Tango, you reported?”

Tango nods. “Yes, I found Endless’s body down in weapons.”

“Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I killed Endless in weapons,” Etho says happily.

Tango scowls at him. “Etho, I swear to God-.”

“Can’t we just vote him off and be done with this weirdness?” Skizz demands.

“No, I refuse to give the world’s most obvious jester the win,” responds Tango. “Imposters, whoever you are, if you kill Etho in front of me, I genuinely will not report.”

Etho pouts at him. “That’s very mean, Tango. I’m gonna tell the teacher on you.”

“I-.” Tango breaks off, unable to think of a response to this.

“Okay, does anyone have any actual information?” asks Brody. “If not, we’re on seven so we should skip.”

Nobody has any information, so the meeting again ends with nobody being voted off.

This time, Etho follows Brody out of the building and up towards electrical. Spotting this, Brody sighs and beckons Etho into security. “Okay, you’re the jester, right?”

“I might be the imposter,” says Etho with a grin. “Or I might not be.”

“I KNOW you’re not the imposter. Sorry, buddy, but you won’t be getting this win. You never were.”

With that, Brody whips out a knife and stabs Etho in the chest.

Etho drops to the ground without a word, watching Brody leave the scene of the crime, before letting his eyes close. It doesn’t matter that he’s not going to get this win. He had fun letting loose and being a little silly for once.

And that’s all that matters to him.

he lives under stress 24/7 okay he’s probably sighing at this very moment because the members probably left the dorm a complete mess. again.

he feels your pain on a personal level but at the same time he hates to see you so frustrated and worrisome over something that you have no control over

intentionally tries to distract you while you’re working and always insists that you need to take more breaks. most of the time it’s actually to annoy you but he also doesn’t want you to overwork yourself

three hours into your essay, you didn’t know what hurt more: the strain in your eyes or the fact your word count “barely reached the halfway point. you hands collect your face, your fingertips clawing into your scalp in pure agony before you lightly slam your laptop closed.

“you’re finally done?” you glare at the tall individual you dare call your friend that has now claimed his spot over your island table in the kitchen. “your pasta is getting cold ya know,” he says as he moves the plate in your direction, as if it was a signal for you to get up from your desk and come eat with him.

“mingyu, last time i checked, you were never invited,” you scoff, sticking out your tongue in annoyance.

“yet you invite wonwoo?” mingyu cocks his eyebrows towards the male sitting on the sofa, mindlessly staring at the silent black and white film displayed on the tv.

“because i actually need his help!”

“i can proofread your essay!”

“then you should have offered first!” you yell a final time but find yourself walking towards the plate of food that mingyu generously made.

actually, you had this completely planned out. your five page final was due within 36 hours and knowing yourself, there was a possible chance that you weren’t going to finish and result in just turning in what you got. despite not being that much of an important class, the frustration of just having to do it and not finishing made you want to bang your head against a wall.

so you may have texted wonwoo first asking if he could “help” you write some of it. you may have already known that mingyu would get all sulky and barge into your house before wonwoo could arrive. and you may have set it up so both of your best friends would be with you as emotional and physical support as you feel yourself wither away by the hour. you knew your friends well.

wonwoo tears himself away from the living room to join you and mingyu at the counter, taking the vacant seat next to you. a pout forms on your lips as you take a take a swirl of pasta into your mouth. a brief silence occupies the air until wonwoo scoots closer his chair closer to you and gently guides your head to comfortably sit on his shoulder. “mingyu’s right,” he interrupts, bringing his hand up to your head to comb your hair through his fingers. “you have to give yourself more credit for what you’re doing. what matters is that you’re doing your best and we know that. and it’s not like school is gonna go anywhere.”

you slouch further, sinking deeper so your forehead can rest on the crook of wonwoo’s neck. “you’re right,” you let out a long, heave sigh.

mingyu, although he enjoyed this sentimental moment you were all sharing, was not pleased with your response. “that’s literally exactly what i said thirty minutes ago when i first told you to take a break,” he grimaced, trying to steal a bite of food from your plate. you burst out laughing watching mingyu accidentally poke the fork on the side of his cheek causing him to fold forward in pain.

“i know i just needed to hear it twice.”

hey! i have anxiety + adhd as well. i've seen you mention meds before, unfortunately i can't have a med change atm, it feels like my current med isn't working that well but 1 - it might be because i'm going through an intense spike of anxiety that i wasn't prepared for and 2 - my dr is out of town so i can't see him abt it. i haven't been able to sleep well and i feel nervous 24/7. is there anything that you find helpful you could mention to me? also, could you please pray for me? i’m so sorry to hear you’re going through this anon. medicine can be really difficult when it feels like it’s not working the way it should. when i first started taking meds i always always had doubts in the back of my mind like “what if it doesn’t work?” “what if it doesn’t fix me?” “what if i’m broken?” but the thing to also remember is that you are not something to be fixed! you’re not broken at all, you just don’t feel good. you only need a bit of help getting back on your feet. when i need a med/dose change i try to remind myself of that.

i don’t know everything about your situation and i’m not a professional so i can’t provide like super mega amazing advice, but one thing i do recommend is that you just be as kind to yourself as you can right now. that sounds stupid but honestly, when i was struggling a lot this semester on bad meds, i deliberately did tiny things that made me feel comforted or at least not sad. when i woke up before school i would watch my favorite videos and eat my favorite food; i drank soda pretty often cause caffeine go brrr; i wore my favorite fun socks even though our dress code doesn’t allow it. all these things seem silly and simple, but they seriously lifted a bit of my burden day-to-day. when you are struggling, everything feels so frickin hard. and you are working so frickin hard to fight it. that makes you strong. you deserve to do small things that make you just a bit more happy, no matter how small. make time for yourself to help relieve the burden of what you are going through.

when i feel very anxious, one of my favorite things to do is turn on my favorite background noise—rain, thunderstorms, music (nintendo soundtracks :D)—and just do nothing. just exist. stare blankly into the 4th dimension. perhaps lay on the floor. eat a cracker or 2. idk why but that just uhhhh yeah :-) sometimes it feels like i can just float away and my anxieties dissipate for a few moments. doesn’t always work (because anxiety is very mean) but sometimes i just try it to see!

when i can’t sleep, my best bet is usually to do something to distract myself. preferably something like reading or drawing or playing music, but if i can’t bring myself to do any of those it’s just as okay to do something like watch a show, youtube, play video games, etc. something that helps get your mind off the anxious thoughts. you could also put your mind on God, spend some time just talking to him—whatever comes to mind, even if it’s silly. i believe he has a sense of humor :D you can be like “yo God i feel like crap right now, how you doin homie” IDK LOLSNDJ SOEMTIMES I DO THAT IDK IF THAT’S BAD

another of my favorite passages is Matthew 6:25-34. it says in a nutshell not to be anxious about your life, what to eat and drink, or about your body, what you will put on, because life is more than food or clothing. and God loves every little bird on this planet—and they don’t do very much, so just imagine how much he loves you. i happened to mark these verses when i was in like…6th grade, when i didn’t even know that i had issues with anxiety. and now that i’ve looked back on all i’ve gone through, these verses never fail to shock and comfort me.

i apologize that this ended up being so long anon!! i hope that some of it can be helpful? i will be praying for you. this road is long, but it’s worth it in the end. jesus is calling your name, he really really loves you, so much more than you could ever know. trust that he is worth it! he will guide you through the storm!!

Oscar Diaz-Summer Nights

Summer days just sitting around but when the sun goes down, I’ll be ready to party

It was officially the first day of Summer so everybody in the neighborhood was in high spirits, and like usual there was going to be party. Only this time it was being held at one of the other Santo members house since he wanted to plan a big bash for his little sister’s high school graduation celebration. That meant all sorts of different people were going to be in attendance of all backgrounds and ages. As you play out tonight in your mind you end up getting distracted when your phone goes off so you set your lipgloss down and rush over to it.

Call the ruca on the phone, let her know I'm home alone, Its Seven thirty and the sun is going down, Its a Summer night and the fun is going down, I picked her up and she looks all dolled up, Sitting passenger in my rag impala , I let her know she looks beautiful to me, The world is an ugly place but she's such a site to see

“What’s up papi?” You ask into the receiver after you answer, glancing at your alarm clock to check the time since Oscar said he wouldn’t be picking you up until later since he had to go take care of something.

“Ima pull up on you so we can dip, I finished a bit earlier than expected so I figured we could kick it for a bit before the party started.” You hear him say, his voice sort of muffled by the sound of air coming in through his rolled down windows along with the music he was playing.

“Are you asking or telling me?” You smirk as you put him on speaker so you can hurry up and pull on your outfit.

“Telling, so hurry up and pull those jeans over that ass of yours.” He reply’s smugly,”Wear those hoops I bought you too, I like the way they sparkle and shit.”

“You’re lucky I love you.” You laugh as you shake your head and jump into your too tight jeans. Your legs poking out from the ripped areas,”The only man I will ever let boss me around.” You joke

“Only women I let boss me around.”

“Don’t you forget it.” You retort as your search for the specific hoops among all your other ones, letting Oscar talk about who knows what while you finish getting ready,”Damn do you gotta pull up banging like that?” You ask him a few minutes later as you grab your phone, Oscar’s famous red car now parked in your driveway,”I can hear you all the way from Beverly Hills.”

“Fuck Beverly Hills, your ass would never be caught there. Besides you’re the one that bought me the speakers.” He reminds as you make your way out after quickly saying by to your grandparents who sat outside in the garden.

“Yeah I’m starting to regret that.” You tell him when you walkout, hanging up and sliding your phone into your back pocket,”What are you staring at fool?” You tease as you open the door and climb in, thankful he cut off the radio so you could actually talk to him.

“You.” He shrugs and leans over to peck you,”You look beautiful...sexy.” He mumbles against your lips,”Cherry?” He asks when he pulls away, a slight shine on his own lips now.

“Strawberry.” You correct him as you buckle up, your smile on full display,”You like?”

“I like everything about you chiquita.” He breaths, his head still in your personal space until your hand pushes him away playfully.

“Back up before you get smacked up.” You warn him, Oscar laughing at your remark.

“That’s my line, you copying my style?”

“It’s not copying when I do it better papi.”

“Better?” He scoffs as he begins to back out of the drive way.

“I didn’t stutter.” You tell him as you pull down the mirror so you could apply more of the gloss,”Don’t be a hater.”

“Hater my ass.”

“Hm.” You hum as you gloss up your lips carefully,”We going to your house?”

“Obviamente, why? You want to go somewhere else or que?”

“I want something from the refresqueria...I don’t know what exactly but something.”

“Yo your ass always wants to eat something.” He chuckles,”What do you want this time? Hot Cheetos, elote, tacos, or a bu...”

“Aye, if you keep it up I’ll make you buy it all.” You cut him off

“I let you get away with too much, I need to quit spoiling you. You’re attitude gets worse everyday.”

“You want me to get out of the car?” You ask smugly as you reach over and take his free hand that wasn’t on the steering wheel,”I’ll walk home and leave you all alone.”

“You ain’t walking nowhere.” He laughs and brings your intertwined hands up to place a reassuring kiss to the back of yours. You don’t respond, your smile growing wider as you look out the window.

The temp was eighty and I'm cruising with my lady, Playing some Ralphie Pagan, "Oh Baby Baby", I see my home boys and they're cruising in their rides, With their ladies sitting by their side, People think we look crazy, but I think we look classy, But then again that's only if you ask me

“Looks like the homies had the same idea.” Oscar says after he parks in the crowded lot.

“Oh the girls are here.” You say happily as you take notice of the royal blue low rider parked next to a similar car in black,”Let’s go say hi.” You exclaim, not giving Oscar time to respond as you jump out and walk over to your group of friends,”What’s up bitches?!” You squeal

“Hey girl!” The two girls say mutually as they each pull away from their respective boy friend to come greet you.

“What’s up.” Sad Eyez smiles while Joker gives you a head nod, before the three guys engage in a conversation.

“Did you guys order already?” You ask as you take notice of all the people waiting for their food.

“Yes and the line took forever. If you want you can have some of our shit, you already know Fransico’s scrawny ass is only going to take two bites before he’s full.” Sad Eyez girl, Gia, informs you.

“Yeah girl, you can have some of our shit too.” Lena shrugs,”It should be here any second, besides all these people staring at us got me feeling some type of way.”

“What who’s staring?!” Gia says loudly as she looks around, her red dyed hair flapping about,”I’ll kindly tell them to fuck off.”

“Someone staring at y’all?” Oscar asks, him and the other guys coming closer protectively.

“More or less.” Lena reply’s as she grabs a hold of Joker’s arm,”It’s fine, how could they not stare when we rolled up in the sexiest cars.”

“Period.” You laugh and lean against your boyfriend,”Sexiest cars and the baddest bitches.”

“Man, they just hating cause we some classy mofos.” Oscar laughs loudly,”However, if anyone has a problem they can address it with me.” He adds loudly causing everybody in ear shot to look away rather quickly.

“Shhh, before you get us kicked off the property.” You giggle and stand up on your tip toes to give him a small kiss,”The foods almost here and I’ll be pissed if I can’t eat any.” You say before letting him return to his previous conversation so you can do the same. After another few minutes a worker comes out and finds you guys with ease and hands out the items.

“Thank you guys so much, I’ll see y’all tonight right?” You ask after taking a bite of your chile covered fruit minutes later.

“Most definitely! See you in a bit!” Gia calls as she hangs out the window as Sad Eyez drives off. Jokers car following them with a honk.

“Let’s go bebe.” Oscar says and ushers you toward the car, opening the passenger side door before heading around to his side. Wanting to get in some alone time before tonight started and he would have to share your attention.

My homeboys throwing a back yard boogie, So every body gets together to unwind, relax and have a fun time, The DJ is spinning so I grab the mic and be like, Ain't nothing like them summer nights, The party is packed with beautiful woman and, A gang of the homies that want to get with them, And they'll say anything just to hit em, And its usually a nice summer night when they did em, Idon't know, it must be something in the air, Can't help but have a good time, because the feeling is there, To some people the feeling is rare, They're at the pad saying God dam I wish I was there, To have a drink, have a tok and hook up, With some one fine but the kind that looks up, Got to keep some pisto in the cup, Party until the sun comes up or we give up

After spending time with Oscar at his place for a while you guys ended up going to the party that was now in full effect when you pulled up. You head to the backyard hand in hand before finding a few other Santo members and taking a seat with them, well you sat on Oscar’s lap of course as you looked out at the swarm of people. You sigh contently as you lean back against him, listening to his conversation and laughing when he did since you could feel the rumble of his chest.

“Look at Cesar.” You whisper in his ear as you watch the younger Diaz flirt with some girl.

“He ain’t got no game.” Oscar says teasingly,”See.” He says moments later when the girl walks away rather quickly.

“Stop, he’s trying.” You laugh and shake your head when he goes straight to another girl.

“He’s failing.”

“Didn’t it take you three times before I finally said yes to go on a date with you.”

“Aye that was a long time ago and we’re talking about him, not us.” Oscar smacks his lips as his fingers dig into your side.

“I’m just saying.” You giggle before turning your head so you can kiss his cheek,”You want a drink?”

“Corona please.”

“I’ll be right back.” You nod and get up so you can go in search of a cooler. You retrieve two cold bottles before making your way back and sitting back down on a awaiting Oscar.

“Thank you Chiquita.”

“You’re welcome.” You tell him before taking a sip of your drink. The rest of the night being spent socializing or forcing Oscar to occasionally dance with you.

As I close out my summer night and say good night, Its time to put the top up and park it, drop it, Unplug the ground, roll up the windows and lock it, Walk into the pad and fall into bed, As she lays on my chest to rest her sleepy head

“Tonight was fun.” You tell Oscar sleepily as you lay on top of him, now dressed in one of his t-shirts.

“It was good seeing the whole neighborhood click up like that.”

“Yeah...Summers the best.” You hiccup,”I might still be a little tipsy. Just a little.”

“I could have told you that after your fourth beer mami. I thought I was going to have to carry you out of the party.” He laughs as he lazily rubs your back.

“You should have carried me anyway, queens shouldn’t have to walk.” You laugh softly,”Am I a queen?”

“Mi reina.” Oscar reassures you with a kiss to the top of your head

“Good answer.” You yawn as your eyes flutter close,”I love summer.”

“Me too, I love summer nights with you the most though.” He admits,”Go to sleep mami, we’ll continue the party tomorrow.”

“Promise?”

“Promise.” He nods, holding your body to his until you’ve fallen into a deep slumber and he’s done the same. The first night of Summer taking a toll on the both of you, luckily you guys still had three more months left of it to enjoy.

to answer the things you have said most recently- i'm so mad that spring break is over bc now i have to go back to life??? like dancing and school and shit that feels so unnessacry 😭 and like i can't just do nothing anymore? i was so used to it and now...... ugh. i STILL haven't played sims (i think it's because ✨depression✨ be hitting sometimes) lol but MWAHAH IM SO HAPPY FOR YOUR NEIGHBOR!AU AND THAT THEY HAD LITTLE BABY LEO!! i feel the name thing.. i just come up with something that sounds nice? i think leo is a nice name, it makes me think about lea michele and the fact that her son's name is Ever Leo but anyway. i don't name my sims after what i want to name my children irl either... idk why though. (i don't know why i'm telling you this but for boy names i love Liam🥰 and if i had twin boys i think i would do Liam and Peter though i am not married to the name Peter.... anywho)

speaking of germany, i was at lunch on saturday with my mom and her friend and we were talking about my schooling and like-- she planted this idea in my head lol like what if i just got my GED and went around the world (to england probably) to get a theatre experience??? and i think it sounds so cool but no where near practical lol, it's just..... the dream haha and i would then try and learn a language 😉

uh yes we absolutely should order basically a resturant meal at a cinema, how about burgers, chips (fries), and a large drink? any time next week works for me, should i pick you up?

also about cherry (which i still haven't watched yet lol) i got the timestamps from tumblr😌 i couldn't find them anywhere else, but i agree, i probably wouldn't even look twice at cherry if tom wasn't in it? like i liked tdatt a lot, but it's not a movie i would be itching to see ya know?

HAHAHAHA THE 24 HOUR NOTIFICATION- i think i have around 1030 hours on sims? but i've had it since 2019 lmao (reading the screenshots, yes u are 100% a genuis, i take screenshots too but on anon you can't upload them so i just read them and retype what i wrote lmao) i think the university experience in the game is fun, but time consuming and it's all work imo. idk why i do it so often tho 😭😭😭

and agreed!! when you're making good money in the game you have to find other ways to make it interesting. my cousins who play it just continously do "motherlode" and i'm like.... then what do you do in your game?? it just sounds boring to me... my current sims household, i had a famous comedian sim, her name was dylan, aND SORRY IM LAUGHING SO HARD WHILE WRITING THIS BC ITS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF THE UNI THING UNLESS IM JUST DUMB, she went to college for communications when i wanted her to be a comedian and when she graduated i realized that degree did nothing for the career 🥲 so yeah, i think i'm just dumb. but she had a kid in college, guy didn't stick around and she was pretty broke HA but then she got married to this (great) guy named steve, made good bank, had 5 more kids (two sets of twins and one more lol) but then she passed. uhm... yeah that's still an open wound . lol i'm kidding, but when you get rich like that, you have to find a way to make the game interesting and i chose a million kids.

(this was one giant paragraph until i broke it up uhh yeah) i seriously don't pay attention to the sims prices and just end up spending way too much money and not being able to finish the rest of the house😭 but then again, i'm so used to having sims live in apartments... if i end up building a house FIRST OF ALL it'll look like what you explained before lmao but i'll tell you if i actually end up building a house HAHA & planning out your sims game is so fun to me lol, did enisa and michael take in his daughter yet? i may be thinking too far ahead lol and i love that they fucked woohooed (i say woo woo lol) in celebration HAHA but when i was playing with this one couple i had them woo woo every night hoping the dude would have horrible pull out game and they would concieve, but one night they were too tired and i was like why? get back in there man. if i was in college and lived with my partner we would be fucking every night homie. be grateful. i have been talking a lot about sims, and like you said: enough 💀 i just love this game a lot 😭😭

shut up - i was taking this song seriously (also very good) until i heard him say shu-T up LMAO, this one is good, i probably wouldn't listen to it 24/7 like rachael's little brother but honestly its still fire

i used to be one of the people who‘d just do motherlode motherlode motherlode and just... what did i do? Why did i do that??? But not anymore lol.
