As time went on me and Eren just talked while ony and con did they’re thing but even then I noticed Connie staring the whole time with dark eyes filled w/lust and irritation rolling his eyes any time i laughed at ren’s jokes or touch his arm or me showing him my fresh nail set when he asked.

By the end of the night I was high out of my mind from all the smoking and decided it was time for me to go back in my room and probably go back to sleep, which is when Connie shows up in my room during the middle of the night confronting me about whatever he called “the situation” which was just me catching up w/ an old friend. It wasn’t that big of a deal to me.

“Shut the fuck up I’m sick of hearing you mouth, matter of a fact turn that ass around im bout to tear that ass up”.

no okay so imagine it’s driver reader, she’s in f2 but is also the hottest girl to ever exist. like im picturing madison beer/megan fox type hot. the other drivers have met her on occasion and all follow her and always talk ab how hot she is and how she’s their dream girl and they all act super tough thinking they’ll be able to score a date w her but it ofc never works for them lol. oscars so smug hearing them all talk ab how hot she is knowing she’s his and only his. and he’s the only one that makes her beg and cry for him to fuck her.

anyways yk how oscars always talking ab his gf irl, bringing her up in interviews and stuff. imagine it’s the same in this au- he’s always like “my girlfriend did this for me” or “my girlfriend took that pic” etc in interviews or challenges or whatever.

her being kinda like a playboy?? she’s never publicly dated someone but flirts with everyone just to see them blush and stutter. anytime she’s asked about her relationship status, she tells them that she’s committed to racing and doesn’t have time for a relationship. i like to think she’d get reallly popular because she’s so pretty like as soon as she starts winning races and working her way up the ranks, everyone wants a piece of her. rumors about her dating her teammates and other drivers or random celebs who liked her posts pop up all the time and she’s always quick to shut them down.

love the idea of her being a bit of an influencer like her instagram game is on point, perfect matching theme that goes back years. and then suddenly theres a guy on her page and she’s in her soft launch era but she’s a menace so it’s like pictures of the hickeys on his chest while she straddles him. for like a year straight she’s posting raunchy photos of them with their faces cropped out while still being like "yea i don’t have a boyfriend!" but oscar is constantly talking about his girlfriend and how much he loves her. complete opposites.

so then when they're spotted with her hanging off him for days in a row at some weekend long event or a race weekend maybe, people are talking about it online wondering why he's letting her hang off him like that when he's got a girlfriend. people mad at her for trying to ruin his relationship. so many memes about his "girlfriend" seeing it on the tv and crying herself to sleep.

and then, cameras catch her kissing him and immediately it gets so much worse. twitter is trending with their names, everyone is wondering why the hot shot f2 driver is macking on the rookie mclaren driver on international tv when minutes before he was talking about how much he loves his girlfriend in an interview. someone has the balls to confront them but gets so embarrassed when he's like "not that it's any of your business, but this is my girlfriend." and they'd apologize but she's kinda nice for once and tells them they have nothing to apologize for bc literally no one knew! they'd probably do an interview to answer questions ab their secret relationship and she makes sm dirty jokes about him and how everyone is like. shocked by the things she says about him? and he just sits there smiling and blushing.

this is toxic and kinda ab cheating but i like to imagine her crushing on oscar and him having a girlfriend so she gets asked in an interview if she has any crushes or smth and she says him. the interviewer is like “aw well too bad he’s got a girlfriend!” and she just says “okay and? he can call me when they breakup, he has my number.” and it starts sm drama with everyone talking about how hot girls think they can do whatever they want and ruin relationships and blah blah blah. and then his relationship ends bc he doesn't see how it's a problem to just have her number saved in his phone. they'd have talked years before when they raced in the same leagues before he got bumped up faster, so she's just a stranger to him. but girlfriend ends up breaking things off because it becomes a running joke that the woman leading the f2 championship is just waiting for oscar piastri while every one else pines after her. even lando and logan are making jokes ab how ofc its him that she has a crush on, the one guy who has been in a relationship since school.

turning to you with some oscar thoughts - part of why oscar’s beef with carlos is so amusing is bc it feels so off-brand for famously-calm oscar. but i think we’re underestimating just how damn *petty* oscar can get. george complimented himself for overtaking oscar in the qatar sprint, oscar subtly mocked him for that in the cooldown room the next day (“not such a nice move today!” @ the mercs crashing), even tho it was just the radio and george wasn’t even there. he straight-up blatantly cropped alpine/pierre out of his spa sprint post. so to me, oscar’s beef with carlos doesn’t even stem from their spa crash, but from carlos’s mean tweet afterwards, where he blamed oscar being a rookie. don’t you fucking dare underestimate oscar piastri ever again !!

tbh i don’t think he consciously cropped pierre out of his spa post, to me he just wanted to be centered in the photo and well pierre didn’t fit 😭. BUT YEA!! carlos in f1 is his proverbial drs from 2020. he needs to be a little mean about something and carlos gave him a chance to complain and always come out on top

im obsessed with your art and animatics... do you have any tutorials or process posts about some techniques you use? like how you move characters separate of the backgrounds (is it just some clever tweening in vegas??) ty in advance... ;; v ;;

sure! umm this is gonna be messy sorry if anythings incoherent. ill walk u thru this segment of the pkradi hollow fight bc theres a lotta layers. heres the shot for reference

aaand heres a breakdown of the layers (called tracks in sony vegas but im just gonna keep calling them layers) from top to bottom

heres the foreground! where i wanna place shit that goes in front of the characters and background

heres where the characters will be placed! sandwiched between the foreground and background, they get more frames (as shown by the smaller segmented images on the timeline) opposed to set pieces which is usually just 1 image, which means we gotta approach tweening w the characters differently since there are a lot more images! ill explain that after this initial breakdown

and heeeres all the background shenanigans. not much to add here. those sure are background frames

RIGHT now to the tweening. when tweening 1 image/frame whateva you're gonna wanna use pan/crop (located on the image, that lil box with a crop around it icon), use this for stuff that only really needs 1 image, like a background. because its easier. like you could use track motion for everything i guess but pan/crops nice and easy and doesnt give me a headache she treats me nice and good

but uh yea so youll start with a little keyframe at the beginning, drag the pan/crop timeline to the end and click the little + sign to create a keyframe! then from there move the pan/crop box (the one with an F on it lmao) around and kablammo. Movement. usually with backgrounds its just a simple panning to the left or right, like how i did it for this shot! but you can do lots more like zoom and angle it etc

aand when you wanna tween across multiple images in a layer/track you're gonna head on over to your layer/track and hit that funny little track motion button aand youll be greeted with a pan/crop lookin thing except its like. for the whole layer/track instead. so the timeline is waaay bigger since it covers the whole thing. but umm yes same principle as pan/crop basically, except youll now need to insert "hold" keyframes right after your final keyframe, copy and paste a keyframe with all the positions defaulted (im gonna assume youre using 1920 x 1080 since its the standard)

like so and then right click a grey keyframe and choose "hold". this stops everything from fucking up and flying between each keyframe basically LMAOO the Hold is it waiting for your next keyframe that is Not a hold. if that makes sense. anyways yea only worry about that for track motion JUST because it works with the entire track/layer, with pan/crop you can ignore this

you sighed as you slammed the that just barely grazed your lips mug on the table “i can feel you starting you know.”

the long-haired man walked over with his hands up in mock defeat “alright alright you got me i just wanna talk to you is all.”

you chuckled and rested your hand under his chin leaning in his direction “oh so what you’re not going to be wary of what i did or anything.”

seeing how you were responding to him he sat down in the seat across from you “that would be kinda hypocritical of me wouldn’t it?”

you slightly nodded your head seeing his point “so was there any particular reason you were around the corner if you wanted to talk to me you could have just said so.”

he raised a finger “one, i wasn’t staring i was trying to figure out the right time to talk to you without sounding like a complete ass,” he raised a second finger “two, it’s clear the guild is ice around the both of us, me because i destroyed the guildhall and you because you stuck by laxus’ side through the whole you know. so i propose we team up we’ll both benefit from it in the end.”

a smile spread across your face “so you just wanted to ask if you’ll team up with me? huh. i accept your offer gajeel.” you extended your arm towards his direction with your fist closed for a fist bump.

he smirked slightly and extended his arm also tapping your fists against one another “we’ll burn the house down.”

a few weeks have passed since the two of you first formed your team, around fairy tail you were known as an unstoppable duo. your magic complimented each other well and allowed you to effectively communicate on the battlefield and grow a close bond. which left the other members wondering when did the two of you get so close to form a team? but, either way, they didn’t want to wonder too much especially makarov, he was overjoyed to see gajeel making such a good friend in the guild knowing how he wasn’t on the best terms with everyone. he had faith in him and that same faith paid off.

you looked at the request board deep in thought, analyzing each reward amount to see if it was enough for the two of you to split and just enough left over for you to pay your rent.

gajeel walked beside you and bumped his shoulder against yours “so what job are we lookin’ for here n/n?” you looked at him in the corner of your eye with a slight playful scoff “we (italics) are looking for a request that can pay my rent.” he reached over for a request that paid your rent amount in full and waked over to mira without a second thought “we’ll take this one.”

you rose a brow and walked over to the bar to take a peak at the paper, when you caught a glimpse of the pay you gasped “gajeel! this isn’t enough for us to split” you softly slapped his shoulder “sorry for taking up your time mira we’ll-”

“no.” he cut you off looking mira dead in the eyes “we’ll take this one. now come on.” he dragged you out of the guild as you protested against him dragging out the guild and cheating himself out of fair pay.

mira looked down at the request paper with a small grin “how sweet.”

months have passed since then and your little duo has become a trio with the edition of your newest member pantherlily, who you both fawn over frequently. but as time went by so fast the s-class trials almost slipped your mind, as an s-class wizard if was your job to take part in the trial to help weed out the crop of future s-class wizards. you stood on the stage and threw a small smirk in gajeel’s direction when the two of you locked eyes. makarov announced the future s-class wizards while you stood by his side with mira, gildarts, and erza. once his speech was over you hopped off the stage and started walking towards gajeel.

“hey you never told me you were an s-class wizard” he huffed with his arms crossed and a slight feeling of betrayal in his voice. you tapped his forehead with a teasing grin “well you never asked.”

he put a hand on his chin in thought “so if you’re an s-class wizard that means you can go on s-class quests…which means we could have been going on them this whole time??”

you put your hands on his shoulders to calm him down “jeez yell any louder would y’a, i didn’t feel like doing them because you seemed fine on the regular quests.”

he turned away from you in mock offense “i thought i could trust you n/n-” from where he was looking he see jet and droy belittling levy as to who to choose as her partner. realizing she doesn’t have a partner just yet he decided to do her a favor for his own benefit. “hold that thought y/n.” he walked over to where the trio were talking and picked her up by the back of her collar. you raised a brow at his actions as if on cue lily floated over to you “is he asking levy to allow him to be his partner?” you put your hands on your hips and keeping your gaze on them “seems like it but from here it looks more like he’s forcing her, or a horrible attempt at persuasion.” the exceed nodded in agreement.

“just you wait and see y/n i’m gonna kick your ass!” he yelled across the guild hall with a confident grin. you eyes widened in shock for a moment before you regained your composure and you looked over at a lily with a grin “you hear that lily ‘he’s gonna beat my ass’.” lily laughed “it appears so just don’t rough him up too bad y/n.”

“i’d like to see y’a try!” you shouted back, not with confidence but with assurance you knew you were going to beat him the smirk on your face may have looked cocky to others but to him it was you accepting his challenge, and seeing him as equal.

lucy looked over at the two of you from her seat with a slight grin “those two sure are energetic aren’t they?”

“i think it’s manly that they’re pumped up!” elfman exclaimed while pumping his fist in the air

the s-class trials didn’t go as expected, one by one fairy tail members on tenrou were getting attacked by grimoire heart. the situation was less than ideal, after taking down the underlings you, natsu, wendy, erza, gray, lucy, and the exceeds headed on to the main ship to fight the guild's master.

in your time a darkness a bright light shined through “i recognize this magic…” you thought to yourself. the blond man stood in front of you all determined to take master hades down “you guys look like used rags.” you rolled your eyes and lifted your aching body the best you could “wow thanks asshole good to see you too.” you responded sarcastically but with a small smile on your face, your words not matching the look in your eyes clearly overjoyed that he’s back.

after the long and hard-fought battle the rest of the members who were able to, came running towards the ship when the thunder legion noticed laxus they ran towards them with tears in their eyes excited to see their exiled friend “laxus!!” they yelled in unison bombarding him with words of greeting and asking him if his grandfather has let him back into the guild. but, when they noticed you off to the side they went silent. laxus turned around to see with they were gawking at when the two of you locked eyes you both turned in the other direction.

“they are going to need lots of help…” evergreen whispered to bickslow and freed to which they quickly nodded in agreement.

“hey, gajeel can i talk to you for a sec?” wendy had healed up his wounds the best he could allowing him to walk about, and you desperately needed to talk to someone you trusted about him.

“yea what’s up?”

you looked around and grabbed his wrist straying away from the group “we can’t talk here follow me.” laxus looked over lisana’s shoulder to see you and gajeel leaving together to a secluded area, he looked down at the youngest sumn sister “hey do you know what’s up with y/n and gajeel?” she nodded with a smile “oh yea they’re really good friends now they go on jobs together all the time! butttt it’s nothing more than that if that’s what you’re wondering” she replied with a smug grin implying she knew how he felt about you. he rolled his eyes at you “yea whatever you can’t come back from the afterlife and start stirring the pot.”

“i already told you i wasn’t dead!”

you looked over at him with a fond smile “yea. i do,” you sighed again before continuing “what if he doesn’t feel the same i mean he did have all that time to clear his head and, i was mainly spending my time with my idiot best friend.” you playfully nudged him with your shoulder which caused a smile to spread on his face for a few moments “tying to forget about him not allowing myself to move on…”

“hm…i say you talk to him.

you rolled your eyes “so where you not listening to what i said or what.”

he looked off to the distance, then turned to face you “y/n listen, i know i haven’t seen much of your relationship but what i saw just now there’s no mistaking it.”

you lifted your head from your knees and looked at him in confusion “mistaking what?”

he flicked your forehead “he still loves you dufus, you shoulda seen the way he was lookin’ at you back at the base. he looked like a lovesick idiot…kinda like you!” he teased with a grin on his face.

“whatever…but, thank you.”

he groaned in annoyance “i poured my heart out just for you to chicken out.”

the two of you walked back to the base but gajeel split from you and walked toward evergreen who was beckoning him over.

quickly catching on to what she was calling him for he wasted no time cutting to the chase and filling her in “basically they think he’s over him.” evergreen sighed and rubbed her temples “funnily enough it’s the same thing with laxus, and he’s a stubborn fool who won’t admit his feelings.” she slammed her fist on her palm with a glint of determination in her eyes “if they won’t do it we will!” gajeel smiled matching the glint in her eyes “ohhh i get it.”

evergreen walked off to deal with laxus, while gajeel was sent back to deal with you “hey, y/n meet me back at the flower field in a few so we could sort this whole mess up, yeah?” a smile slowly spread across your face “aww thanks gajeel!”

once it was time to meet gajeel at the field you started to head out to meet him over there “hey, gajeel i’m oh-” you saw a tuft of blond hair and immediately knew who it was you turned to leave but stopped immediately in your tracks when he called for you he said your name so softly as if you were to run away if he spoke any louder “y/n…” and that’s all it took for you to stay.

“i missed you.” the two of you spoke as one as your hearts were saying the same thing, but your minds were screaming at you telling you to wait for better circumstances but neither of you could wait. you both smiled fondly at one another.

you walked closer to laxus, as you walked you never left his gaze something about you was so captivating to him even after all this time you still managed to make him weak. he hesitantly reached for your cheek but once you nodded he held your cheek in his palm softly caressing it with his thumb, his other hand coming to rest on your hip.

BUT I do not want anyone to engage with this so I'm hiding the link - not just because it's ridiculous but because the best way to confine rpf ship drama is to leave it alone. (edit: so I lied abt this asofgsalfga I did reply to one person but only bc they put it in the main tags) I don't rly like blocking but I also don't want to have to create a million filtered tagged posts on my dash - and tbh I don't think anyone I've blocked will care anyway. this way I can still see carlando content for fun but none of the fandom nonsense.

I'm mostly posting this bc up til now I rly wanted to set aside the behavior of the fandom to continue enjoying carlando content but I just can't be bothered anymore. between the larrying and the rampant, disgusting casual misogyny - and ofc the competing with which friendship or fake ship blorbo 1 and 2 are "happier" with asgfjsalfglja. and it's not just this latest thing I get sent tweets and posts abt whole agendas to "prove" that Lando isn't "happy" with Oscar/Martin/insert man who is currently considered threatening to their concepts of Lando's relationships. some ppl even friendzone Max F and Lando and pretend Carlos means more to Lando than him so there's no limits to the insanity.

so for me atp there just isn't enough about carlando to make it worth constantly being reminded that the way too many of it's fans truly believe that these are two men are either as close to each other as they are to their real, acknowledged close friends and/or in a secret gay relationship, that their girlfriend(s) are cold-hearted PR plants/escorts rigged by an evil all-controlling PR department and once the blorbos are freed of homophobic forces (oh god Carlos' old tweets tiktokboom) they can finally have the kind of toxic heteronormative version of a queer relationship that is right with the universe.

like, rpf is only meant to be for fun and more important it is meant to be kept away from anyone involved/the general public !! but when ppl's delu results in the actual women these men choose as their partners being at best aggressively cropped out of pictures and videos* and at worst stalked, harassed, their families and employers harassed, abuse and slander left in comments sections on popular social media and team pages - yea carlando laughing together sometimes and slowed down bro hugging isn't enough lol

it’s also slightly the fact that if you picked a bunch of Lando’s reactions to Carlos and Daniel and no one knew context clues then no one would be able to tell which one he’s reacting to. Carlos/Daniel teases Lando, Lando shriek laughs and goes red, James Corden style gay innuendo, slightly tense undercurrent of men wanting to one up each other with jokes, iterations of bromance that are half sincere and half for the cameras, hashtag hashtag. Lando goes to Daniel's ranch on a whim, dando is special. Lando goes to Carlos' sister's huge society wedding, carlando is special. Lando's family likes Lando which makes carlando special. Lando and Daniel share mutual friends outside of racing which makes dando special. like, it's the same dynamic just rotated around at different times. I enjoy both ships to a certain degree but I'm kind of mystified at ppl choosing to see them as super deep and meaningful and worth fighting over.

side note g o d do I fully embrace that ppl who do these ship competitions and larrying nonsense have ZERO interest in landoscar bc we love Lily and support Lando in his many probable conquests - and bc the Lando and Oscar dynamic isn't a big bromance for the cameras and has no fake gay for fangirl consumption.

like yes pls absolutely consider landoscar inferior to carlando if it means they stay away from inventing conspiracy theories and saying they "just have a bad feeling" about Lily and start attributing everything Lando has achieved to his teammate instead of himself.

also I could be SO incredibly mean using charlos vs carlando and the difference between PR and the public trying to tear one apart but it persisting vs PR and the public being a major factor in the other persisting at all. or the fact that charlos does everything ppl want carlando to do. but there's no point spending more time on people who think that two adult men - who've both said they're as much rivals as friends and the bromance is more what the public sees - are laughing in metrically different and lesser degrees of happiness with their new teammates vs a former teammate.

like, as long as I can now not be exposed to those opinions then they have a perfect right to express them. god knows I'm not saying my blogs is worth a damn but at least I don't trash anyone's gf or try to stunt on other rpf ships for no reason

tl;dr I'm p much done trying to make carlando worthwhile for me to rb or post about. I enjoy seeing it on my dash for myself but that's it! no one will be affected by this change lafhlsahf

*I know there are a few ppl out there who do this bc they have a no-private life policy on their blogs and that's np. they aren't die hard carlando fans tho.

I haven't watched yet the latest yet bc I'm waiting for it but it makes me sad that some people are irrationally mad at Percy :(( like yea, of course he's an asshole and he def should have helped (bc I'm selfish and miss Laudna) but that was also his abuser that caused the hate that consumed him for so long. Idk I just feel like this is a unique situation where we have both sides and so many layers and some are choosing to be ignorant with it. more angry at Percy than Deliah herself.

yeah i mean i think this kind of discourse always crops up when something like this happens, i try not to engage bc i think it's silly lol. i think matt did a rly good job of showing that vm has been settled and happy where they are and relaxed (more or less) for 30 years now, and percy's confusion of "why should we bring this person back when people die every day and we do nothing about it" and assertion of "delilah briarwood does not come back, period" are both very grounded in not only his previous experiences with delilah but also in the fact that he has a family and a city and a world that he tried very very hard to free from her grasp. there is really no reason they should be bringing delilah back into this world when they don't absolutely have to, especially when the alternative is letting her fade into (seemingly) permanent oblivion at the cost of only one woman's life. it's not a terribly complicated concept, ppl who refuse to see it are just not trying hard enough or choosing not to tbh lmao

THIS okay so u can’t even blame me for this one it’s just correct. yes he’s like walking masculinity stereotype BUT he also had depth and was interesting 😌 the fanfics were SO GOOD this is when i really got into fanfiction and accidentally read smut where someone get pregnant in the hunger games 🧍‍♀️i read this one fic that was like x reader AND THEY STRAIGHT UP BOTH DIED but anyways. i read fanfics abt literally everyone thg character (read abt women and convinced myself i was still straight lmfao) but he was the stand out for me. i recently revisited this era and the fics ppl write on ao3 r INSANE omg like what is wrong with u ppl ( i say this lovingly but also wtf )

OMGOMGOMG BEST ERA OF MY LIFE u actually don’t understand u just had to be there. a solid percentage of my brain even to this day is made up of this man. this is like the stupidest thing ever but when i was like 14 i would just mirror his personality (and tone down the arsehole part obvs) so that i could get more talkative AND IT ACTUALLY WORKED nobody in the whole world will ever understand how much he means to me (i don’t rly understand it myself tbh) and ik ppl literally fuckinf despise him but i will not tolerate the dandy mott slander bc he is literally part of my core identity atp i revisit him every few months just to fully reconnect with my inner being. did anyone read Companion? that shit was crazy also i wrote a fic abt him on wattpad and people actually READ IT so anyways best era of my life it truly never got better i rly hit me peak (i had 0 friends) the few friends i had literally told me i talked abt him too much and it made them like me less 💀

this was arguably my most chill era like yea i was pretty obsessive but with marvel it’s so normalised to be so intense abt everything i kinda just fit right in. there’s too much professor fanfiction r u ppl okay 🧍‍♀️ also more actor fanfiction than i have ever seen for any other man in my LIFE but the capitalism went hard during this era the fluff was so good. arguably my most comforting era? idk i can’t rly explain that one

okay so these two r kinda completely different but also (for obvious reasons) the exact same. gotham was my most openly gay era and for that i will forever be grateful HOWEVER the kristen kringle haters were doing WAY TOO MUCH like she’s already dead why u doing her like that constantly (u will see this sentiment echoed later abt someone else hmmm i wonder who) but yea and then YES i was a paul dano lesbian (literally wasn’t out as lesbian at this point lmao) honestly this is probably the era my friends hated the most they would either awkwardly pretend to agree/care abt the shit i was saying or straight up tell me i was delusional 💀 my friends even now still call it my worst era but i LOVED IT kinda solidified my position at the bottom of the hellish secondary school hierarchy but i still had a good time. the paul dani riddler fanfics r next level tho the way ppl would just post STALKER fics constantly with like zero warnings and it was never labelled as yandere 🧍‍♀️i also got in an argument with a writer on wattpad bc they made the riddler and the oc have like a 6 year age gap and they met when she was 10 and he was like 16 💀 other than that good vibes all round

tbh this era was pretty brief i can’t fully explain what happened here like the vibes were immaculate but also insane WHY IS THERE SM YANDERE FANFIC peter parker is so nice but then in fanfics it’s like 👹 but i rly like spider-man HOWEVER this then led me to my final destination on the comphet journey…

omg were finally at the final stop the peak of comphet ( i came out as lesbian within this era ) arguably not my finest hour bc i swore i would never watch criminal minds bc the number of seasons is WAY TOO MUCH but here we are i watched it bc i read too much fanfic abt this man. i have lots of criticism for the fandom but he in himself is acc a rly good character. this was supposed to be like my ethical era but he’s acc killed like a bunch of ppl and thomas gibson is MESSY (don’t cancel me pls i say that lovingly 🫶) the haley hotchner misogyny nearly killed me off i don’t think i’ve ever been so miserable in a fandom and the fanfics kinda take feminism back a few hundred years but pretty good besides that

omg i went to the niiiiicest chic little hanbok store in new jersey yesterday they are called "the hanbok" at fort lee, the two ladies working there was soooo so so sooooo sweet and nice and welcoming 😭 i really recommend them if anyone in the area needs to rent or get custom stuff made LOL i've been to two local shops in nyc and honestly i was kind of intimidated by the ladies that owned the shops, maybe cuz they were older women and they seemed strict idk thats a ME problem but the women at the hanbok were so chill and i wasnt as scared there 🤣 i looked at a bunch of their swatches but its like playing 4d chess picking the colors cuz the swatches are taped in 2 layers, with the upper layer going over the lower layer, so its 1 layer of fabric on the white board, and 2 layers of fabric hanging off the board and IT LOOKS SO DIFFERENT cuz the material is translucent so the color changes depending on whether its single or double layer, and if its against white or colored lining? so i feel like the final product will be gacha again idk. also i shouldve prefaced by saying i got custom hanbok made from korea but obvs couldnt see the swatches irl and lemme tell u the pink photographs pink but irl its more peach so 😵‍💫 the cut and fit of it is nearly perfect tho so im still v happy w it! i took it to new jersey so the hanbok shop can recreate it with new fabric lol

see it looks so baby pink in da pics lol trickery. the underskirt the korean person send me is kind of a stiff mesh / organza layered thing, it has nice volume for pics but i feel like bc its more stiff the movement is less swishy irl? the new jersey shop is gonna make smth more layered with normal fabric so hopefully that works out better??

also im wondering if i should have asked to make the skirt shorter cuz the feet showing under is act kind of cute and practical? the current skirt is floor length lol. the feet is a nice silhouette break. i have a fitting at the end of july so maybe i can ask then 👉👈

^random ppl on ig man i lov hanbok wtf. i wish i knew how to sew this myself cuz i feel so annoying being ultra specific with my design & fit notes 💀 like at this rate i rly better just start making it myself LOL but i cant sew so RIP also i cant understand how they make the top, its like origami the way they attach the lining and fold everything down and inside itself like??? 😵‍💫

thats my fave pic i think its from an exhibition but MAN is that top cropped and fitted. and maybe its cuz the mannequin is holding the skirt up but the shoes showing looks good so yea im like pro ankle length skirt now ig?
