Okay, I don't know if I'm alone with it, but I can't stop thinking about Saltburn characters as age regressors & CGs, especially Felix..

He's happy to see Annabel and James creating such a loving relationship, but he'd never say that out loud.. he's a little jealous at the same time aswell tho.

Farleigh also finds out about their regression, but is not sure what to make of it.

He kind of wants to take care of the little ones sometimes, and that scares him.

Little Felix giggles a lot, he likes running around and playing outside & in the water.

He's also an absolute cuddle bug, but only with Ducan. He follows him around like a lost puppy and constantly seeks physical touch. (Grabbing his hand/ arm, hugging him, etc.)

Felix also really enjoys showing off his skills, to get praise from his cg.

Ducan has a whole chest full of pictures, crafts and learning pages little Felix did.

Annabel is more of the quiet type, she likes coloring and just snuggling with her Papa or a plushie.

James really values this second chance at being a good dad to his daughter, he felt a lot of remorse for always prioritizing Felix.

Annabel and Felix's relationship also ends up improving.

The fighting will probably never fully stop, that's just sibling things.

Farleigh also finds himself filling a "big sibling" role over time and he likes being the one in charge every once in a while.

He's is stricter than Ducan and James, but he's not unfair.

With Farleigh he kiddos have set bedtimes, a limit to how many sugary stuff they're allowed to consume and get scolded for fighting/ causing trouble.

The most dreaded punishment of Felix is sitting on the stairs for 5 to 10 minutes, kid hates being bored.

Unfortunately he often has to sit on the stairs, he's quite the trouble maker.

Annabel hates getting her plushie taken away, the plushie is still in the same room, but up on a shelf, she just can't cuddle it for 5 to 10 minutes.

Luckily she very rarely has to be punished, she's a very well behaved kid!

All in all, regression brings most of the family closer together! <3

I left out Oliver on purpose, cuz he's a creepy little freak and we don't stand him in this household hehe

Mine would use razor guqin strings, A-Die's staff uses the same, as well as music cultivation and blinding powder, yours maybe use guqin strings too, and Nainai's would just use the katana, illusions and talisman.

Jingyi: your hulijings are top tier.

Rusong: keep that between us.

Enemies think they're harmless.

Jingyi: dude, can I see your guqin strings.

Rusong: *pulls it out of his sleeve and stretches it* sure.

Jingyi: *astonished*

Rusong: A-Die says that if I cultivate some more, I'll be able to store it in my body like him.

Jingyi: he could do that?!!!!!

Rusong: duh. He pulls it out of his wrist.

Jingyi: does it hurt him?

Rusong: A-Die got used to the pain.

Jingyi: woww.

Lemme touch it.

Rusong: no don't. It's really sharp.

Jingyi: have you attacked anyone with it?

Rusong: of course.

No one can mess with the hulijing Dianxia.

Jingyi: mhm.

Rusong: now let's go meet A-Die.

Meanwhile, A-Yao was finishing up on some affairs.

Yao: yes. I'll definitely get back to you with the reports.

Huangdi, Zixun is still passing messages while still under house arrest. We believe he's communicating with sect leader Yao.

They want to get back at you.

Yao: why can't this man stop conspiring.

Sources had revealed that sect leader Yao had snuck in and gave him some device which had fox spirits trapped inside.

Yao: I'll have my sons pay him a visit, and set him straight.

Taizi Dianxia will free the hulijings as well, and Yi'er will fight whoever goons that sect leader Yao brought there.

Right huangdi.

Yao: where are they anyways? I want to spend time with them.

Fuying: I'm sure they're on their way.

GW2 30 Day Challenge

6. Favourite Elite spec?

(I couldn't find any fancy pics of my own to use, so instead have a couple angles of mirage cloak glitching out and turning the Mirage into an eternal swirling and glowing vortex. These are old screenshots before the Aurene mounts were released as well since I use those for my main) It's... Mirage!! (surprising to absolutely no one who knows me). I just LOVE being invulnerable and hard to hit, plus all the mobility that comes with the spec and the SUPER fast gameplay (I love very fast inputs and reactions, which makes playing slower classes difficult for me bc I'm impatient and spam click abilities lkdjflsf). Being able to jaunt/blink everywhere, shadowstep, clone+phantasm distractions, and evasion hax dodging (mirage cloak my beloved) made dodging part of my rotation, making me really dumb with a lot of other classes bc I instinctively want to dodge all the time due to muscle memory. Also fun fact: Mirage/Mesmer was the first spec that I used a 80-boost on, and I was able to learn it just fine! (and even became my favourite!) so boosting a class to learn it is totally okay in my opinion!! Just do cozy open world map comp to ease your way into it and it'll be cherry!

Granted I also don't exactly play the class as intended. While I have 3 builds for her (guess I should say my main, Vespaura), I tend to just use her power build (since Mirage is moreso meant for Condi and boons or w/e, which I have builds for and also never use lol). I think this build I like to use was originally made for the Labyrinth (tagging everything with GS), but I tweaked it a bit with other preferences since it has pretty good survivability and is an absolute monster when I attack huge groups of mobs (Greatsword lasers are the best invention and it NEVER gets old. Also the amount of laser ricochet gets me pretty high damage and looks absolutely bonkers on my side (what a lightshow!), plus my lasers are HOMING lasers, which means they will automatically hit any enemies in the vicinity around me and helps out if I don't notice them from a different angle, allowing me to re-orient myself. I also don't have to worry too too much about aim bc of this too! (oh yeah, and especially with relics being a thing now. Mabon relic has been pretty neat so far cuz I can take advantage of that boost being used to hit all those targets!). Though power GS does fall a bit against single targets, but that's fine! (I sort of have the daggers for that at least!). I also play with a trackpad, which is a funny thing to tell ppl, especially when playing a class like Mirage, lol. I just hate using a mouse and only have it for certain games that force me to use it. I just don't want carpel tunnel and my wrist is more relaxed this way (never had problems! so far at least). I just love playing at ranged with non-ranged weapons (Greatswords, daggers. Mine actually has all 3 types of blades (very lesbian of her) bc she has a sword as well. I literally gave her both of Caithe's weapons askjflfj. I'm so glad that I can give my Mirage daggers now!! much more fun than another sword/axe!). It's just so much fun, and I CAN'T WAIT to see what rifle is gonna be like!! I just love ranged classes bc stacking ALWAYS gets me killed constantly... so yeah I'm the annoying person who doesn't like stacking bc I'd rather not be dead!!!!! (I'm sorry I just HATE stacking. I can't see SHIT and it's just so much visual noise for me!! let me breathe!!) and plus I revive everyone in fights thanks to invulnerabilities allowing me to rez through attacks. You're welcome!!! (I rez so many people during metas and other fights) I also just love Mesmer in a class in general bc it's unique in comparison to a lot of other fantasy classes, and I just adore the concept and the aesthetics (flamboyant fancy dramatic magic user? HELL YEAH. Literally the gayest magic user ever and I'm eating it up). I also love the ability to make clones and all the pretty butterflies, and phantasms and all that! I know a lot of ppl don't like clones/phantasms, but they save my ass every time and I appreciate them very much.

I haven't seen Spy x Family (mainly cuz I don't wanna pay for Crunchyroll) but it looks so cool and I'm in love with their vibes. Please tell me if it's on Netflix or something cuz I heard something about the kid being a telepath and I need to know if it's actually true--

GN Reader, I personally headcanon she has a preference for girls but this is gonna be gender neutral so everyone can enjoy hot tiger lady, vague mention of drugs but it's off-screen

Also sorry for taking so long lol I swear I haven't been ignoring you I've just been busy and this is a long one

After you punt the LOS into the sun save Porrima from eternal darkness, there's clearly still work to do. With the corrupted gone/saved depending on where you go with it, it's safe enough for residents to start moving back in. And where there's Porrimans, there's gonna be crime

You teamed up with Elowen and Anisa to help deal with this issue. Elowen knows the twists and turns of the underground well and Anisa, well, she's Anisa and she's amazing. You three are doing well, but there's this one gang that still manages to elude your grasp

The Bumblewolves are a gang composed of about 95% various Ilephtas who believe that they are the superior race over everyone else, and another 5% of humans who believe the same. You don't entirely know where those humans stand on the totem pole, but you can't believe it's good

Elowen is naturally good at keeping to the shadows and working with you and Anisa secretly, so not many criminals know she's even there when they get their asses handed to them. Thanks to that, she's able to worm her way into any gangs to destroy them from the inside

And that is exactly what this job calls for

You and the girls are in your headquarters. Anisa is pouring over her map of Porrima and its underground systems and you're sharpening your weapons (we're gonna say it's a sword for this but it can be whatever you want) when Elowen comes in with information

Using her previous connections with the Griefers, which (as far as I know) is another all-Ilephta group, she was able to get inside the Bumblewolves and find out what the deal is

She says that other races are only allowed in after they've been "converted" to their side, and that's done mainly by cult-like manipulation and loveless marriages. The humans seem like shells of their former selves, whatever they were like, and their only purpose now was to help Ilephtas get to the top and hope, pray, that they would be spared

It all makes a shiver run down your spine, and you put your focus back on your sword to keep the thoughts of their faces, their eyes, away

And that's when Elowen surprises you

Elowen flicks her tail towards you. "Me and MC will be going in."

You raise a brow as you look up at her. "We will?"

"Unfortunately, the gang is too big and I can't do it alone. I'm already in with them, and getting MC in will be the easiest." Elowen drags her gaze over to Anisa, who watches her explain with curiosity. "They hate half-Ilephtas with a burning passion, and you don't exactly pass the best as human."

Anisa rolls her eyes. "Thank you for that, Elowen."

"So what, you want me to be fake married to you?" you ask, putting the whetstone down next to you.

"You're a good actor." She smirks. "You pretended like you could tolerate that mangy mutt for more than a minute."

"MC, are you comfortable with this?" Anisa asks, a twinge of concern in her eyes. "We won't do anything you don't want to do."

Elowen frowns, but she begrudgingly nods. "Annie would attempt to kick my ass, and I don't wanna waste time."

"Yeah, I'm fine with it," you say as Anisa glares at Elowen, who simply smirks back. "It's for the good of the mission, and it'll be fun."

Elowen's ear twitches a little bit. "Well, if you think this will be fun..." She saunters over to you, puts her hands against the wall on either side of your head, and leans in close. The smell of hookah smoke wafts by your nose, likely from the gang's hideout, notes of strawberry and citrus playing in your senses. "What's your favorite color?"

Does Elowen actually have feelings for you before this? Is she just messing with you? That's for you to decide :)

She buys a fake ring in your favorite color and presents you to the heads of the Bumblewolves. They immediately look at you with hatred, but you put on your best "successfully manipulated" facade and preach about how you truly believe that Ilephtas are intrinsically at the top of the food chain or whatever you can come up with at the moment

They seem to buy it enough to let you and Elowen stay, but you're under close supervision. You don't really get a chance to let down your act for the first week or two

You watch some of the other Ilephta-human couples to imitate how they act, and almost all of them have the human constantly worshipping their spouse, agreeing with everything they say and tell them how smart and amazing they are. So that's what you decide to do

You pepper Elowen with affection whenever you can, kissing her cheeks and the back of her hands in reverence, rushing to get anything she needs so she doesn't have to burden herself, complimenting her every move

ngl I think she likes being pampered but that's just me

Taking down an entire gang takes time! You're in there for months, unable to contact any of your friends. You're stuck in the hideout until the higher ups are sure you won't defect as soon as you're sent to the docks to get supplies. Once you are able to leave, you hear snippets of how the Starsworn are helping heal the wound that the LOS left on Porrima, rebuilding houses and protecting the innocent. That puts a little smile on your face

Weeks pass by, and while laying in bed with Elowen (who's hogging most of the pillows), you look back on your time here and realize...it's been getting easier to pretend like you're in love. Obviously the whole worshipping thing has been about the same, but the casual affection, you don't have to try so hard to make it look real. It just feels... natural

You look up at Elowen. She looks so tense, like she's waiting for someone to burst in when she's sleeping and try to kill her. You wish that there was something you could do to alleviate her fear, being her defenses down a little bit. But you know you can't take away what happened in the past

You only wish you were there to help her

Elowen can feel you staring at her. Watching her as she slept, or tried to. It unnerved her, and it calmed her. Why were you so damned weird? Night Mother help her, why didn't you look away?

She couldn't help it anymore. She opened her eyes to find you inches away from her face. You yelped in surprise and jumped away from her, and she sat upright in bed.

"Hells below," she hissed, holding her arm up to her face defensively. "Do you always watch people when they sleep?"

"Sorry," you whisper, sliding back down under the covers. "I couldn't sleep."

Gods, the look on your face. Elowen prided herself on being able to keep a blank face, but she could feel her cheeks start to burn. She thanked the night for giving her face cover.

She sighed and shook her head, laying back down as well. "It's fine." A pause. "Anything I can do?"

She hears you shuffle a little in place. "Could we...cuddle?"

Elowen almost laughed. Not out of malice, but surprise. "We're already in the same bed, I'm surprised you weren't already clinging to my side."

"Didn't think you'd want to," you mumble as you cuddle up to her, wrapping your arms around her muscular frame.

"It helps sell the act," Elowen said as she put an arm on your back.

She was right. It did help sell the act. She just didn't know if that was the only reason she wanted you by her side.

Months pass. You and Elowen have a solid plan to take these guys down once and for all. You decide to do it under the cover of night, as all good attacks do. You're in your room, using Elowen's better hearing to make sure everyone around you is asleep. She nods and silently opens the door, but you stop her

She turns around, expecting you to hear something she somehow didn't and telling her to wait, but you put a hand on the back of her head and before she can respond--

Your lips lock. You both taste of the meaty dinner and mead the whole gang had earlier. Her lips are surprisingly soft and lovely. Her tail poofs up and she tenses up at first, but she melts into the kiss, grabbing your shoulders.

You both pull away after a few seconds, both of your hearts racing, Elowen's pupils huge. You whisper, you can barely do more than that, good luck. And then you're both off

Whatever your plan is, you pull it off and leave the crumbling infrastructure of the Bumblewolves to burn. If your plan was to destroy everything so they can't rebuild, you run away to your hideout with Anisa. If your plan involves saving the humans, you make your way with them to the Sunstone headquarters, where you meet with Anisa. Either way you see Anisa and catch her up on what happened

She asks how hard it was to pretend to be married. You smile, take Elowen's hand, and say it got easier with time. You swear you can feel Elowen squeeze your hand a little, and you know she means it

When he goes to her apartment, he finds her laying on the coffee table but when she sees him her expression gets all wobbly and she beckons him fourth with her infamous grabby hands. When he goes over to her, she latches onto him like a lifeline and starts crying about how much she loves him and how he’s her favorite skeleton in the whole world, and also she feels like the world is caving in on itself, and he's sexy, and she can't remember anything before the last two words she said. Doesn’t seem like she’s letting go anytime soon,,, (I know Swapell is a questionable choice but I want to know how Cash would handle it if his S/O didn't purposely get high and instead this is her first time stoned and she's bordering on the edge of a bad trip)

Star: ok first of all, bringing edibles to work isn’t exactly the smartest thing to do, so when coworker drops crush off, Star levels them with the stern *I know you’re doing something stupid but am letting you off with a warning* police expression. After they sheepishly leave, Star just sighs and does his best to keep crush distracted. You’d be surprised about how many high people he’s tracked down and found on the job. Star is pretty good at talking them down

Honey: he feels for crush right now because he’s been through the same situation before lol. When honey was 16, he thought it’d be a great idea to experiment and managed to nick some monster cannabis. He was trying to figure out the best way to smoke it when he heard his brother come home, so naturally honey panicked and he ATE THE WHOLE BAG so Star wouldn’t find it. Needless to say he was tripping for two whole days and never touched the stuff again. Anyways, going back to crush, honey knows what it’s like to have a bad trip and won’t hold anything they say against them. He figures it’s just the brownies talking

Mal: he’s mad, but not at crush, at coworker. Like mal is hopping mad, and if he wasn’t taking care of crush right now, he would’ve gone over and ripped coworker a new one. Luckily for the worker, crush takes the whole night to come down from their high which gives mal plenty of time to cool off

Cash: he’s both grateful and sad to learn that his crush is an affectionate high. Cash is fine cuddling with them the whole night, but winds up taking them home with him so that he at least knows his brother is around too. Cash would’ve been fine just being with crush, but he feels more secure knowing someone sound of mind is there to talk him out of any stupid decisions

Lord: oh eff his life. This is is crush, not SO, so lord is still in the no touchy stage. Basically meaning, after a couple of attempts from crush for hugging him, lord will dump them on mutt and go hide somewhere coward

Mutt: he totally takes advantage of this and has crush saying all kinds of silly things while he records. Mutt will also have them stay the night and lends them one of his old shirts as pajamas. He can’t wait to see the embarrassed flush on his crush’s face when they wake up in his bed. Nothing happened, he’s just a sadist

Oak: lol what? Well he has coworker drop crush off at his place first. And if cuddles makes them shut up and stay happy, then oak figures he might as well have a movie night

Willow: he winds up stressing crush out with all his fretting and nerves over their high. Oak ends up banning willow from work and basically forcing him to relax for the night with crush. Now crush is snuggled against their dream man out cold, willow is internally screaming, and oak is a smug b*stard

Rust: he’ll be a bit embarrassed from all of crush’s attention, but otherwise takes it like a champ. Working with emotional kids has made rust pretty good at comforting crying people.

Noir: oh stars, he’ll do anything if they’ll JUST STOP CRYING. Pride prevents noir from running to rust for help. So poor noir will have a huge wet spot on his shirt by the time crush finally tires themself out. Noir doesn’t even care about what they were saying. He says wired stuff when he’s drunk too. It’s not a big deal

Digimon Adventure (Blind Watch) - Episode 23

FRIENDSHIP! Frankly, as an antisocial, I'm sick of anime shoving nakama down my throat like having friends is the meaning of existence. Sometimes I'm just too tired to put in the effort, okay?

Anyway, this was another edgy Yamato episode. It seems like he gets all the darker ones. (Dark by Digimon's kiddie standards). I found him getting tricked by PicoDevimon to be a lot more believable than Takeru because he was emotionally/physically exhausted due to the abuse from Veggiemon (lol) and Digitamamon. He did also snap out of it very quickly though.

Digimon introduced: Veggiemon, Digitamamon, WereGarurumon

Notes:

-We get to see Garurumon's ultimate form and he kinda just looks like someone's fursona. He might as well be a Final Fantasy character with all the belts strapped to him.

-This episode made me realize that there aren't a lot of werewolves in anime! Vampires, sure, but werewolves...? I can't think of any. (Maybe Wolf's Rain). I was surprised to see "were" is written like "wa-" I thought it was "WarGarurumon" at first

-Lots of gaslighting in this episode. It was actually kind of upsetting to watch. Joe already gets dunked on by his friends enough as it is.

-Veggiemon has a weird design. His intro said that he has a poop attack because of course he does. Is that just the attack they give to every annoying digimon?

-Apparently the Digimon world uses dollars for currency or at least this part does. It's kind of weird that they have money in general. The consistency of whether digimon are human-like or animal-like in their behavior is non-existent.

-I really thought there would be more to Digitamamon's "Nightmare Syndrome" attack. He just kind of sucked Garurumon and Ikkakumon into a void and then spat them back out. What exactly was that supposed to do? (Reminded me of Raven from Teen TItans)

-I felt like the digimon did kind of a crappy job defending their human counterparts this episode. Joe was being squeezed to death by Veggiemon for a little too long.

-I guess it will be explained, but it's pretty weird how Sora is helping out from the shadows. It always feels like they just don't know what to do with her character lol.

-Yamato yelling "FRIENDSHIP" during battle made me laugh. It was so out of the blue and then that ending scene was really awkward "Will we meet again? Of course we will, because we're friends!" lolwut. What does that even mean?

-When they showed Tsunomon I was kind of like "who's that?" for a second lol. I forgot what he looked like. I guess everyone's just accepted that digimon go back to babies after their ultimate evolution at this point.

-Next episode looks really interesting cuz it's a Koushiro one. Koushiro really gets the job done with moving the plot forward so I like him.

So I think, this is just my personal theory. That only the first born Goode male know about the curse and not the rest of the family. And maybe they just have an inkling that there's something up but they don't question it.

About the cops? I think because Shadyside and Sunnyvale are apart of Union county that they have one sheriffs department. So they cover both but obviously the Goode's would want it in Shadyside because that's where all the bad shit happens, they can keep an eye on them, and also pick a new victim when the time comes.

So I noticed in Ziggy's house she had a *ton* of books. I also noticed Nick had a *ton* of records and books but I think records? Not sure. Anyways, do you think they had some type of book club? I think maybe Nick would drop off new books to her? And also I was wondering if she left the house because maybe she could have gotten her groceries delivered. And also I saw a clock for the video store so I think she does go out. Also to walk Major Tom.

I also think it was interesting that when Nick went to Ziggy's house he meant to knock but couldn't bring himself to so he left the note. I still wonder why exactly he told her? Like just a warning so she wouldn't be as surprised? But do we think they saw each other before 1994? Because personally I want to believe but I would think if anything it would take Ziggy a few years before she could handle it.

I have read some great Ziggy x Nick fics (including yours! Love!) and I've seen some talk about Nick being obsessed with her and I totally believe it and maybe does stalk her. Like that 1978 scene where Ziggy playfully accuses him??👀 idk. Like when he walks into the mall, like any idiot could see something was up and it was probably a set up. But omfg when he realized she was there, his face, it's like he couldn't help but be drawn to her anyways.

And obviously Nick is evil and the worst, I don't ever forget that or wanna downplay what he did. But I did notice the second time that he didn't put the gun on Ziggy, but he still did use her as a shield but I'm not 100% buying that he would have actually gone through with using her as a shield.

Also! The song when Ziggy is setting up the paint and Nick walks in, the Buzzcock's "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)" (I've always loved this song so !! lol). But omg listening to it after knowing what Nick has done! Cuz you know at first you think it's just because he's a Sunnyvaler and she's a Shadysider so it's like Romeo and Juliet. But then! Watching it a second time and the lyrics!! Because obviously it applies for both of them but for very different reasons once Ziggy learns the truth (foreshadowing lol). But looking at the lyrics and what the writer of the song said I do kind of see it a bit more as Nick about Ziggy because, "You spurn my natural emotions You make me feel I'm dirt, and I'm hurt and if I start a commotion I run the risk of losing you, and that's worse". Cuz you know in the beginning he's trying to be nice and she totally doesn't let up on him lol. And if Nick were to stop the curse it would be a commotion. And also he can't let her go because he likes her so much and he does end up hurting her in the end. But also, "I can't see much of the futureUnless we find out what's to blame, what a shame And we won't be together much longer Unless we realize that we are the same" And you know, unless we find out what's to blame👀 and the second half, how they are kind of the same in the sense of liking spiders, Stephen king and each other. And also! The writer of the song says the song is really about, "But it's about the way in which you deal with that realization and how you try and find some way to change the other person, which is usually a bit doomed anyway." (genius.com) And honestly that sounds really like Nick towards Ziggy to me. Because he knows he shouldn't but he still wants to and does and he tries to change it, by letting her live, but ya know they were doomed in that sense. And then the other song! Where they're hanging out in the nature and science room where they kiss? "Sweet Jane" by The Velvet Underground. It also has some very Nick-like lyrics to me. I'll probably have more theories/headcanons soon lol.

I don't think they kept up over the years in canon, but Nick leaving books outside her door with no note feels in character. I think she did leave her house for some stuff, like what you note, and she was always a reader. There's also all the research she probably did on witchcraft. I think Nick's house had a lot of records, but I also feel the house was very performative in a way so idk how reliable that is to his tastes/interests.

I also think it was interesting that when Nick went to Ziggy's house he meant to knock but couldn't bring himself to so he left the note. That's the biggest plot hole to me personally, given what we know. I've mostly decided on "he told her to get back into her life/reconnect with her" but honestly he could have had her place attacked directly and gallantly saved her? On the other hand that didn't work for him last time. I think they didn't really see each other in canon, though presumably minor interactions could have happened as they live/work in the same place and yeah enough time had passed post 78 that it might have been doable to her, but in my fics they always seem to have seen a lot of each other......................

Yes I think there's an obsession and a fixation on her. And given his job, it would have been easy to do and not look like he was doing it/keep tabs on her. And yes the mall thing! Agreed, I don't think of myself as an apologist or whatever but as someone interested in Nick the character and his choices and how those things inform each other. Among them, using the woman he apparently loves as a human shield, only to turn around and scream at the others to save her life. So I don't think he would have gone through with using her as a shield but like you said it's not like. A good thing. It just means that he values her but he's not above threatening her. (Remember that post where people were like Anakin might be evil but he never mindtricked anybody! And others were like he murdered children though. And I chose to read it as, actually Anakin didn't have the will/mental fortitude to successfully mindtrick anybody and thus resorted to force, which is an interesting thing to point out but doesn't mean he's secretly the good guy all along. That's what I think this is).

Also! The song when Ziggy is setting up the paint and Nick walks in, the Buzzcock's "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)" (I've always loved this song so !! lol). This was a pretty great/interesting reflection! I think the song choices were super deliberate and layered in this movie, like the use of Man Who Sold The World. It's also interesting that Sweet Jane also plays when Deena and Sam kiss in their own science room. Which is not so much a false parallel as the NickXZiggy story being a foil to both the DeenaXSam and HannahXSarah stories.

1/4 I know Im thinking way 2 far into the future, its just s/t that crossed my mind and I could totally see happening in the last season of hsmtmts. I just get the feeling that its pretty likely EJ and Gina may end the show by ending up in NY in the series finale. For EJ he may very well end up studying film in NYUni and Gina may find better opportunities for dance in the city. Say they break up prior 2 the last season but eventually find their way back 2 e/o by e/ wanting to go to NY..

2/4 unknowingly at the same time. Salt Lake/the Wildcats will always be home but maybe Gina actually wants to move this time for better opportunities? Like Gabriella in HSM3. Perhaps EJ ends up accepted in NYU cuz Mazzara submitted his app for him? I just get the feeling Tim may already have a rough outline for where he wants each of the core 4 to end up. I honestly wouldnt be surprised if PW both are headed to NY but for different reasons. 3/4 They may not even know it yet until the finale, kinda like a sign from the universe. Maybe its cuz Im from NY so I can totally see a character like Gina and EJ exploring life in the city LOL Thoughts? Do you think Tim pretty much already knows how he wants these characters stories to end? I suspect a show like this will probably have 5 seasons with the last being the semester in which the current Juniors graduate. 4/4 Again I know Im thinking way too far ahead but just given the way each season as foreshadowed whats going to happen in the next it seems like the writers plan ahead where the stories are going to go. Nini continuing to pursue music, Ricky finds out what skills are marketable for him, and Gina and EJ finding opportunities outside of their home in Salt Lake. Maybe Tim knows how each story will end but I guess anything can change in between. 😅

First of all: I absolutely don't mind that you're speculating on seasons beyond season 3! @scorpiospectrum can attest that I'm the exact same way lmao 😂

I agree that Tim most likely already has a rough outline of where the core four will end up. Their arcs are very consistently written and seem to be headed in clear directions, so it does feel like the writers have at least a broad idea of where they want these characters to end up, regardless of whether the show lasts 5 or 7 seasons (those are the numbers I've seen Tim mention in interviews). Personally, I think that Nini and Ricky will both end up pursuing music since that's their mutual passion, and they'll most likely do so at the same college since they do tend to be on the same page a lot. As for EJ and Gina, I've been speculating that EJ will go to the University of Utah and study film, and I'm not sure yet where I could see Gina going to college and what she'd study (acting has come up for her a lot and of course she's passionate about dancing, but I'm not sure yet what exactly she may want to pursue). However, that doesn't mean I'm not open to other theories (after all, I don't write the show and I don't actually know where the story is going), so I was excited to get yours!

It's an interesting theory! I just have a few questions. This doesn't mean that I'm knocking your theory down, though! I just want to better understand it and challenge you to think about certain aspects of the plot if you haven't already. It's actually a shame that we can't have more of a dialogue about this since we're talking through anon asks, cause asking questions like this is often may more productive through an active dialogue.

Let's assume that the show keeps the same pacing throughout the entire story, and that season 3 will be the ony summer season. That would mean that season 5 takes us to Nini, Ricky, Big Red, and Kourtney's graduation, and season 7 gets us to Gina, Ashlyn, Carlos, and Seb's graduation. That's 4 more seasons of story. Now, within your theory, how do you envision EJ spending those seasons? Are you thinking that he'll be at NYU and therefore not present in the story? Are you thinking that he'll take two gap years and go to college after Gina graduates? Or one gap year and we won't see him for the final two seasons, save from the final episode? Or do you think he'll first go to a state school for two seasons before transferring to NYU? Basically, what I'm asking is: do you envision him being around for the four seasons leading up to Gina's graduation?

What is the reason you envision for a Portwell break up? Is it the long distance? Do you think EJ will be off-screen for a significant period of time and therefore Portwell is broken up until Gina moves to NY herself? That would mean that we would only get a last minute reunion between the two of them, based on your theory. Or do you actually envision them breaking up for some other reason and their story in the final season being about them working their way back to each other? I'm not sure if I can see this show doing last minute endgames. Right now this show seems to be more interested in telling the story of a relationship than doing all these long build ups to relationship with little to no pay off. But who knows! We've only seen two seasons so far, so they could easily prove me wrong.

Personally, I find it more likely that Ricky and Nini would end up in the same city by accident, or even go to the same college in that city. Ricky's story is all about him learning how to deal with change and finding the courage to put effort into trying new things, so it'd make sense for him to leave the safety of Salt Lake by the end of his story and go out into the unknown. And Nini has already been all about going out into the unknown, but she has to learn that her past is a part of her too and that it's okay to take that with her. So them facing the unknown together would make total sense, especially considering how they both still love each other and how they make each other braver.

EJ and Gina's stories so far have been so centered on them finding these strong human connections in Salt Lake and establishing a real home/found family there, so I'm not sure if their stories will end with either or both of them moving far away from that home. Gina, for one, has already moved so much, so I'm not sure if she'd want to do that again. After all, she and EJ have both learned that happiness is about other people, not your achievements. But we'll have to wait and see how that plays out and how Gina will feel about that once she seriously starts thinking about college.
