About Evil teenagers antagonists in Miraculous
I currently wonder how can some fans still want a redemption for somoene like Chloé who willingly hurt people just because that's was her definition of "fun".
Why not accept Chloé as somoene evil ? Just because she's 14 years old ? Just because Gabriel was worst than her doesn't take away the fact that Chloé is a truly bad person who has the potential to become as evil, if not worse than Gabriel while growing up.
Even in real life, adults are not the only ones who are capable of cruelty and crimes. If only adults were capable of monstrosity, I wouldn't have 14-year-olds killing each other with callache nikoffs in the drug trafficking districts of my city. we wouldn't have young people beating up little ones and pushing others to suicide and absolutely not regretting their actions. And we wouldn't have stories to raise eyebrows about kids capable of committing murder and acts of torture without necessarily having been abused in their lives.
To me, anyone who loves to make others suffer for their own sick pleasure (and their victims are people who objectively don't deserve such cruelty) has serious mental issues and can be a danger to others.
Both Chloé and Lila love to make others people suffer or don't care about hurting innocents, and they certainly don't feel any empathy for anyone, or in Chloé's case, no longer feel any empathy (she may have felt sympathy and empathy for Adrien at some point, like during the episode Felix in season 3, but that's definitly no longer the case as soon as Adrien asked her to stop being a biatch). Maybe Lila may feel a form of attachment toward her mothers, yet that doesn't stop her from manipulating them and fooling them in a way that's pretty cruel if you dig deeper in Lila's scale of truancy and imposterization.
I know that technically when a 14 year old kid behaves like Lila and Chloé we could say to ourselves that it is unfair to give them no chance and to condemn them when they are only 14-15 years old and could change for the better if they could be guided on the right path.
But Miraculouse is a show in which the superheroes with the fate of the world in their hands are 14 year old kids. And as such in this fictitious reality, other 14 year olds are perfectly likely to become real cruel and threatening villains i without any scruples, especialy if they are influenced by the wickedness of an adult supervillain.
And I believe that Gabriel's evilness only made Chloé's and Lila's wickedness worse.
He put those two girls in positions of power where they could hurt others and act according to their darkest and Manichean impulses. And Lila and Chloé would only want more taste of that power to crush others. And you know how power easilly corrupt the most greedy hearts.
On several occasions, Gabriel even approved of Lila and Chloe's horrible plans and actions. He has encouraged Lila on numerous occasions to "get rid of" Marinette, thus giving the impression that he supports Lila's jealousy, and during collusion he will have the nerve to say that Chloé's ideas, which consist literally ruining the academic future of your classmates and putting your pregnant teacher in jail for no good reason are good ideas. Having a rich adult in a position to approve of their actions in this way will only have given Lila and Chloe the feeling that their acts of cruelty and malice are justified, and thus reinforced their evil nature.
On several occasions we have seen Chloe and Lila voluntarily let themselves be akumatized, and worse than that, we have seen them plan to be akumatized (Chloe in Penalteam, and Lila in Revelation) and not for understandable reasons like that of a desperate Jalil brainwashed by lies on social media. Because Lila and Chloe have only ever been motivated by their narcicism, their ego, and their desire to get revenge on people they hate for the most pettiest, vain and selfish reasons possible.
Lila and Chloé may be kids, but they are evil teenagers, because they would gladly become supervillain if that means getting what they want. And what they want is anything but noble. For their selfish goals, Lila and Chloé were willing to endanger the city they live in and all its inhabitants. I don't even know if I can still call Lila and Chloé kids or teenagers, with how far they're willing to go and hurt people for the sake of their ambitions.
Although there's still the possibility that Lila may be an adult with a youngfull appearance or a hormonal abnormality making her look like a teenager when she could be an adult. But that would risk making her a pedophile so I don't think the show will go that far ^^ At most they could give her the same as Théo Barbot
But an antagonist adult would be needed then to balance an antagonist teenager supervillain.
Good thing we still have Tomoe Tsurugi then
It's tragic that Chloé and Lila wickedness and evilness could be due to serious mental issues or Chloé's bad upbringing, and the show may have decided that it's more important to protect others from the harm Chloé and Lila can cause rather than to prioritize "helping" them with their issues. Both Marinette and Adrien proposed another path for Chloé to chose, one that could have helped her heal from the emotional and mental wounds her mother's abandonment and neglect. Chloé instead chose Hawkmoth's/Monarch
Ladybug offered Lila her friendship, and Adrien also offered Lila to be there for her as long as she didn't hurt those he loved. Yet both Lila and Chloe voluntarily chose to continue committing bad deeds and hurting others, regardless of the fact that someone reached out to them and offered them another path to get love, acknowledgement and recognition from people. Adrien and Marinette don't have to sacrifice their mental health for people who wish them harm, so I understand very well that it wasn't and won't be their priority to help Chloé and Lila find potential redemption. And especially when Lila and Chloe seem determined to refuse to change and continue to cling to their wickedness.
It should be the adults responsabilities to deal with Chloé and Lila issues, and unfortunatelly the adults in Miraculous are pretty lousy and incompetents. It's very tragic when we don't know that one kid is a psychopath, and if another has always gotten away with his narcissistic behavior disorder and nothing had ever been done to help them deal with that issue, that only leaves the opportunity for the seed of evil in these kids to germinate and flourish, and then reach the level of nastiness that is more often found in adults.

Miraculous Ladybug:
I'm not like a fandom fan but I watch the show and I would love of anyone knows the answer to this:
Why does Chloè go from having seasons worth of growth and change and actually becoming a better person - to the point SHE WAS LIKE THE FIRST CIVILIAN ABLE TO SHAKE OFF AN AKUMA all to protect Sabrina. She did it for Sabrina! - to the current season where she is back to being a basic bitch.
Why did I watch a whole three or four seasons just to have all Chloe's character building passed on to her magically nice half sister while she reverts to her first season bitchitude?
I need someone to honestly explain this absolutely terrible decision. It's nothing like the slight set backs Kagame has where she is still a little heartbroken but moving forward, even Sabrina has shown her true feelings more and more despite still acting as a servant to Chloè. Adrien and Marinette are full on into an entirely new storyline for their characters!
Why is Chloè the only one NOT allowed character growth and change? Especially since she already had it. Before the series stripped it away again!

Parisiens, Parisiennes,
It is with the greatest dishonour that I stand before you today, as I finally get the recognition I deserve as the Worst Adult to ever plague this series.
Not that you should be congratulated for seeing the obvious, of course. You only fell for the vision of the Worst MLB Adult I created for you all to love and loathe. Or whatever Meryl Streep says in The Devil Wears Prada, I didn’t understand a word of it actually. Man, being an actual fashion industry leader seems like hard work…
Still, I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to the people who have helped me get to where I am today:
First and foremost, my son Adrien, whose adorableness pushes me to constantly find new and innovative ways to ruin his life;
Nathalie, whom I haven’t paid in 5 seasons;
Chloé, by far my best Akumatised Victim Supplier;
My nephew, for literally doing all of my work for me;
And last but not least, my wife, for being dead.
Great things await us in future seasons as I finally seize Ladybug and Chat Noir’s Miraculous! Because that is definitely happening. The fact that I have at least four different teenagers ready to cut my throat doesn’t scare me at all! Who even is Lila anyways?
For now, I must leave you, my despicable subjects. My presence is required by my window, as it is crucial that I spy on teenagers and ruin every opportunity they get to be happy. All in a day’s work. Might celebrate with tasteless pancakes later idk
Akumatisedly yours,
Gabi

Conférence Masterclass 808 (Translation)
I've taken the liberty of translating the conference that took place last year with the writing director of Miraculous (Sébastien Thibaudeau). It was only made public when someone posted a video of the conference a short while ago.
In this conference, Sébastien Thibaudeau will talk about the creation of Miraculous and his work on the series. He is joined by Chloé Paye, a new scriptwriter working on Miraculous season 6.
Sébastien talks a lot and repeats himself a bit, so the summary can be a bit confusing.
I strongly advise you to go and listen to the video if you understand French. There are a lot of details I'm going to leave out, and Sébastien is very funny.
Tumblr media
Photo belongs to mlbfanfr on twitter.
Please be respectful in comments or tags. If you want to debate on things related to this conference, please make your own post. I apologize if there are any mistakes, I'm French and I'm not fluent in English.
-12 years ago, Sébastien arrived at Zagtoon, a studio that was just starting out and had yet to produce and broadcast any series. The producer (Jérémy Zag) and Sébastien hit it off and decided to start working together. Zag decides to give Sébastien total freedom over his projects. Sébastien then decides to put the spotlight on scriptwriters, because in this profession they are unfortunately poorly paid and never stay on the same projects.
So they produced a cartoon called Kobushi. A little-known series that did rather well, even if it didn't stay on the "Gulli" channel for long. The scriptwriters and producer were happy with the end result, as it was produced in a very short time.
Jeremy Zag then proposed another project, which he thought was quite good, but which he was unable to sell to broadcasters. At the time, the project was called "Ladybug". No one was interested, as the project was aimed more at an adult audience than a children's audience. Sébastien had to make sure that the project could be broadcast on Disney and TF1.
There was only a "trailer" also called "Ladybug" (but you'll find the video under the title Ladybug PV) animated by Toei animation. At the time, Sébastien had not yet been hired by Zagtoon. It was Jérémy Zag who convinced Toei animation to work with them (no mean feat, since Toei animation doesn't work with anyone).
So Sébastien started working with Thomas Astruc (the man who wrote and created the "Ladybug" project). At first, he didn't want to work on this project because he found it complicated. Thomas wanted to make a series for adults, but at the time, it was very complicated to make a cartoon for adults. What's more, they didn't have enough money to take on such a project. Sébastien finally agreed, but there were some changes to be made, which Thomas accepted.
-What Sébastien appreciated most in this project was the romantic comedy, the love square between the two main characters.
To meet the requirements of the cartoon industry, "Ladybug" had to be set in a neutral universe, in other words, in an imaginary country or the USA, but Zag, who loves Paris, declared that the cartoon had to be set in Paris.
In the end, Thomas Astruc's entire project was discarded, leaving only the love story between the two heroes and the city of Paris, where the story was to take place.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Sébastien explains how he writes Marinette's first dialogues: He says he talks a lot in real life, so he writes Marinette like him. She says out loud whatever she's thinking.
For Chat noir, he makes him tell his father's jokes. Something TF1 doesn't accept. The TV channel went so far as to refuse to validate the Bible (a collection of information on the series and episodes) until it had removed the sentence: “Chat noir makes jokes”. Sebastien has therefore removed the sentence, but will continue to make Chat noir tell jokes.
-The writing director's job is to get the producer, creator and broadcaster to agree. The series broadcast on TF1 and Disney are very different. TF1 wants series whose story can be told in a single episode, unlike Disney, which wants series whose story spans several episodes.
Sébastien and TF1 agree that Miraculous will be a series with one story per episode, a "Formula Show".
He cites the example of Dora the Explorer episodes, where every episode is the same: Dora goes on an adventure from point A to point B, she has to find 3 clues, then she meets Swiper, she sings a song to make Swiper go away, she uses the talking map to get from one place to another, then Dora manages to get to point B and the episode ends.
This episode format is used for children, to give them a reassuring framework, as they build themselves up through repetition. That's why series like Dora work so well with young children.
So Sebastien sold the Miraculous series to broadcasters as a formula show. A person gets angry, is akumatized, then marinette transforms into Ladybug then frees the person from the akumatization and… The End.
It's also for this reason that Marinette tries to confess her love for Adrien in every episode, but is unable to do so.
But he tried to go against what he had planned with TF1, by slipping little extra stories into certain episodes. Audiences were receptive to these slightly hidden stories. The TV channel even asked Sébastien if there really were hidden things in the series, but he denied everything. Thanks to the positive reception from the public, TF1 agreed to develop the characters of Marinette and Adrien and flesh out the universe a little more.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Once the bible is written, they have to write a script. But first Sébastien, as writing director, needs to know the mood of the series, and to do this he calls on Thomas Astruc, the series creator. Thomas is a great fan of classical painting. A single painting can tell a complex scene with lots of detail. He wants the episodes of miraculous to be like these paintings, there will be very few shots, but in a single shot a lot will happen.
-Sébastien explains that one of the things Thomas wanted to convey in the series was emotion. They didn't want to do what a lot of children's cartoons do, which is to beat the bad guys and win at the end of the episode. They wanted to tell kids that it's normal to have negative emotions. We can also become better people, learn from our mistakes and so on. It also reassures TV channels by setting up scenes that are repeated in every episode: people get angry, people akumatize then people deakumatize, end of episode...
Once the TV channels had been reassured, they set about writing a script.
-Sébastien asks Thomas to write the ending, as they're not sure the series will work. They also wondered what the aim of the series was, and what they wanted to say to the children. The two of them sat down in an office and wrote the ending, which turned out to be just the end of an arc. He even adds that now that they've written a lot more, it's important for them to write in advance so that everything is clear to them.
-The first season was written by 19 authors, from home. He found it interesting that the series was written by several different authors, even if some of them didn't quite understand the premise of the series. One episode that Sébastien particularly appreciated was written by two “autrices” (I think it's weird to say “two female authors”, so I'll use the French word): the refletkta episode, with the story of Juleka who couldn't get into the photos. (Note that all the episodes were proofread by Sébastien and Thomas).
After that, they kept a few people on to work together on the scripts for subsequent seasons.
Sébastien explains that he keeps a close eye on the production of the episodes, to make sure that everything that goes into the picture is as faithful as possible to what they've written in the script.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-The kwamis exist thanks to Toei, who wanted funny little animals to sell plush toys. So the scriptwriters had to find a way to integrate kwamis into the story.
-(Again, Sébastien advises people to check out the Kobushi series if they can still watch it somewhere, or ask the leaker who leaked the whole of season 5 to give them the episodes (that's a joke, of course)).
-Sébastien talks about the Ikari gozen episode, which could have been a total failure because the storyboarder didn't fully understand the scenario. Sébastien asks Zag to redo the storyboard, which will add 10 weeks to the episode's deadline. The storyboarder admits that he's always done storyboards mechanically, without worrying whether the episode is good or not, whether the jokes are funny or not. Eventually, the episode was redone by the same storyboarder, resulting in the episode we all know today.
- They still have a lot to tell with Miraculous, to the point where they're wondering if they'll have enough seasons to tell everything they want to tell. Sebastien says there will be a season 6 and 7, and probably a season 8 and 9.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Chloé Paye met Sébastien when she was looking for an internship. She had never worked in animation, and knew nothing about Miraculous. She tells us how the scriptwriting team works. Each time, all the scriptwriters in the room have to be convinced of the script. They can sometimes spend hours on details to get everyone to agree.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- The driving force behind the series is that there must always be a secret between Marinette and Adrien. The lovesquare can never be broken, otherwise there's no series. Sébastien knows that some people are worried about this. Will they continue the lovesquare for another 4 seasons or more? How will they evolve? Sébastien says not to worry, they know where they want to go.
-It takes them 14 to 16 months to produce an episode, but it's often much longer due to unforeseen circumstances. And they don't work on one episode at a time, but on several at the same time. One episode takes a long time because of the 3D animation.
One of the things that's complicated with Miraculous 3d animation is that they can only display 3 characters at a time on screen, whereas the series requires them to display many more characters. It's also very difficult to correct animation errors, as this takes a lot of time.
-The TV networks were very surprised by the success of miraculous. They didn't think adults and children alike would watch the series. The TV channels were a little confused because they usually make series for a specific age group, but since miraculous had people of all ages watching, they weren't sure what to do.
- Sébastien says he's very happy that miraculous inspires a lot of people to create things, like writing fanfiction, however he's not interested in it because he doesn't want to be influenced by certain fans who would love to see certain things in the series.
- Writing direction also means paying attention to how the characters speak. They all have their own way of speaking. For example, Adrien will never say "j’te parle", but rather "Je te parle".
- During the writing process, the writers sometimes act out scenes to make the dialogue more natural. This is what happened with the episode "Gang of secrets". They felt that, with the success of the show and the pressure it was generating, they needed to write something to relieve their stress. So they wrote about Marinette and the enormous pressure she was under to keep all her secrets. The final scene, in which Marinette tells Alya that she's Ladybug, came naturally when they performed it together.

cross-posted on ao3
Lando is asleep on the couch when he comes in.
His jeans have been kicked to the floor, soaked where a bottle of apple sourz must have tipped over. He looks fine if a little sweaty, hair flat from the pillow but not worse for wear than when Daniel left. Had a night in then, he thinks and pulls the blanket over him.
He heads to the bathroom, breath still rank from the bar.
Lando had wanted to come and almost threw a fucking tantrum when Daniel had told him no. Lando may be allowed in bars now – a proper adult, their father would say –  but that doesn’t mean Daniel is any more inclined to watch him and his friends get sloshed off mixers and shots.
Daniel almost doesn’t notice him as he walks in, head in his phone when he goes to take a piss. Scotty’s trying to settle the bill, the fucking uber ride and bottle of vodka they shared, Chloé conveniently left out of the budget breakdown. He doesn’t care, sends him his share with a quick, ok.
“Hello, Daniel,” someone says just as he’s about to pull his dick out, hand already in his pants. “Lando of course did not say you would be here.”
“Lando’s passed out on the couch, reckon he isn’t up for saying much right now,” Daniel says and turns towards the voice.
It’s one of Lando friends, because of course it is. Max, he decides, watches the kid as he sits on the counter next to the sink. There are two of them he knows, Fewtrell who’s been nipping at Lando’s heels since neither of them knew what it meant. And this Max, the hot one.
“Always he is bad at drinking,” Max says, mouth stretched into a wide smile. “He is very sloppy after one beer only, and then he gets very tired also. Like a little kid, you know?”
“Yeah,” Daniel says with a smirk. He steps closer to lean against the sink, feels the warmth pouring off of Max. “Not like you, right?”
Max shakes his head, touches his tit with an open palm like he’s going to swear on it, sucks in a breath when his nail catches on his nipple. It looks swollen too, hot and pink, heavy against the swell of his pectoral. Daniel’s eyes flicker down to where he also isn’t wearing pants, the pile of clothes just inside the door.
“Sometimes I think of course that you and Lando cannot be brothers,” Max says, kicks his feet against the cupboard underneath him. His legs look long, strong and tan from the summer sun. He must be bigger than Daniel now, taller too.
Daniel remembers the gawky nineteen-year-old Lando had brought home. Max on exchange from the Netherlands, taking the same courses that Daniel had done only three years before, with the same instructors too. “Let me know if you need anything, yeah?” He had told him just to watch Max blush, cheeks scarlet as he ducked his head, stuttered out a quiet, “Of course, Daniel.”
“And why’s that, Maxy?” He asks now, touches the side of his knee to watch Max scramble to move, spread his thighs so Daniel can dig into the drawer underneath him.
“Always you are so handsome and funny also,” Max says, waves his hand around like that somehow adds to it. And maybe it does, because Daniel’s chest burns, overwhelmed. He feels almost sick with it, with how easy it is for Max to say, knows then he must be more drunk than he thinks. “Lando is just – Lando.”
Daniel laughs, squeezes Max’s knee. He watches the jolt of the muscle, the buck of Max’s hips up into nothing. Hears the sharp whine that escapes his lips.
He should tell him to leave, to put his shirt back on and go back to Lando’s room. Sleep it off so Max won’t hate himself for running his mouth when he wakes up. But he cannot, asks instead, “Is that a toothbrush in your hand or are you just happy to see me, Max?”
Hazy blue eyes stare back at him as Max squeeze his thighs shut. It’s rhetoric, almost. Redundant at best, and mean at its core, maybe. Because there is a toothbrush in his hand, the bright pink tool held in a slack hand against his thigh. But he’s hard too, obvious in the tight grey boxer-briefs he’s wearing.
“Always I am happy to see you, Daniel,” Max says. He spreads his thighs against and watches with dark eyes as Daniel steps between them, presses against the counter until there’s almost no space between them. “I have a toothbrush also, but I do not think –“
“Want me to brush your teeth, Maxy?” He asks, feels the shame as it flushes his chest, violent. Desperate. But he wants it, can almost imagine how it would feel if it was something else in Max’s mouth. The head of his –
“Please,” Max begs and lets his mouth fall open.
Daniel has done it maybe once before, brushing someone’s teeth. It had been a necessity then, a favour to a friend who had been too drunk to move, vomit still on his shirt. So far away from this, from Max watching him squeeze out the toothpaste and bring it to his mouth, his thighs squeezed tight around Daniel’s waist.
He starts off small, brushes over Max’s front teeth with tiny back-and-forth motions. The movement feels awkward from this end, like jerking someone off when you’ve been masturbating your entire life. Max keeps still, breathes through his nose like Daniel told him to.
Daniel reaches his molars, the toothbrush shoved deep into his mouth when suddenly Max shuts his mouth around it. Daniel is slow to realise it, keeps up the motion of the brush and watches Max move with it. Lips working over the shaft over it until he’s close enough to kiss Daniel’s fist.
“Max, mate. I cannot see what I’m doing,” he says, forces himself to laugh. He pulls back too quick, listens to the way Max chokes on nothing. “Let’s try the other side, yeah?”
It goes great until it doesn’t. Max deep-throats the toothbrush again as he watches him through hooded eyes. His hips rock aimlessly into empty air, pre-come soaking through his briefs.
“Max, no,” Daniel says. He pushes down on his bottom lip to keep his mouth open, ignores the way Max whines. “Be good for me, yeah?” He keeps a hand in Max’s hair, holds him steady as he tries to move with the brush, push it further into his mouth.
The top of the mouth is harder, the angle awkward from where he stands between Max’s thighs. “I don’t think I can do the rest, Max. My wrist,” he says, shows how limited his wrist rotation is.
But Max barely pauses, slides instead to his knees in front of Daniel, “Like this, no?”
Daniel chokes on his breath, feels the way his dick twitches in his pants. There’s barely any room between Daniel’s feet and the counter, but still Max fits perfect. His head tips back against the cupboard, thighs spread wide to make room for Daniel.
“That’s perfect, babe. Yeah,” he tells him softly, cups Max’s cheek in his hand.
Max’s eyes stay closed as he lets himself be moved, tongue wet and pink inside his mouth. Daniel doesn’t know how long it lasts, knows at least they’re above the designated two minutes. His dick strains against his pants when he strokes Max’s cheek to let him know they’re done.
Max is slow to come back, eyes blinking slowly until he refocuses on Daniel. A sweaty hand grabs the crook of his knee, pulls him in until his leg is pressed against the heat of Max’s chest, the tip of his chin resting too close to his dick.
Max tips his head back and opens his mouth, shows off the mess that sits on his tongue. It isn’t – doesn’t really look like come, too foamy with the paste Daniel uses. But it’s enough to pretend, to imagine what Max would look like if Daniel did come in his mouth.
Daniel lets himself look for another moment, soak in the sight before he nudges Max up against the sink so he can spit it out. “That’s it, good boy, Maxy,” he says, watches Max through the mirror.
If he looked drunk before, he looks downright indecent now. Cheeks flushed and chest wide as he sucks in breath after breath. Looks just about ready to pass out too.
Daniel pats his back and nudges him over to grab his own toothbrush, feels the way Max shudders underneath his hand. He’s just about to tell him to go to bed, when Max drops back to the floor, knees loud on the tile.
“Daniel, please,” Max says, begs.
Daniel leans against the sinks, angles his hips away from the space Max has created. He knows what Max wants, mouth open even now. But he can’t. Not when they’re both this drunk. So he does the only thing he can think of, shoves three fingers into his mouth and tells him to be quiet.
It works.
Daniel goes through a condensed skincare routine one-handed, feels the warm, wet suction of Max’s mouth around his fingers. The increase in pressure whenever Max swallows, how he leans into it when Daniel presses down on his tongue, sick with want.
He leads Max down the hall of rooms when he’s done, opens the door last on the left and lets him in.

Hey. Asking about how Chloe was abused. My knowldge of abuse is fairly limited to general pop knowledge so I'm curious as to what abuse was done to her.
Okay caveats first:
I am not a medical professional, I am simply someone with a vested interest in the topic who has done more research than the average person.
There are many definitions of abuse. Legal definitions are rarely useful, as they are limited to concrete, provable, gross violations. Just as you can inflict a lot of pain on someone without leaving the marks to prove assault, you can do a lot of damage to a child without it being legally 'provable'. Medical definitions are much more helpful for discussions.
Lastly some level of extrapolation is required as it is a show. We take what we are shown. For example:We actually only have Felix's word that he was ever abused, and his first character traits sre being deceitful and manipulative. We still take his word though, because it's a show. (And also we should give weight to victim accounts!)
So both parents are guilty in different ways. We will start with Audrey, the simpler one. There's clear verbal and emotional abuse demonstrated on screen. Mis-naming your child is a form of abuse:please ask the trans community about the impact of deadnaming even in full grown adults.
Beyond that she is constantly dismissive and belittling of her child- to the exclusion of all else. Style Queen/Queen Wasp is rife with examples. There is also the clear behavior shift in Chloé. The wheeling, approval seeking, hunched posture expecting rejection. This is a *pattern* not a one off. Audrey may live in NY, but no fashion movil would be away from Paris for 13yrs straight. We are simply seeing the most recent interaction. This culminates im a child having to ask 'Why don't you love me mother?' and the response is telling
Audrey barely chokes out the strange word when trying to contradict the question. It takes Marinette literally making them both mad at her to get a bare minimum of interaction on Audrey's part. It doesn't last though. Audrey falls back into her negation behaviors and is now present to inflict them more regularly on Chloé, while also being a constant target for/model of behavior for Chloé. (Seriously it was such a misstep to write Marinette reuniting a victim with an abuser) We know the show itself considers Audrey'ss care as a bad thing because the original script had André divorcing her and takin Zoé because Zoé 'doesn't deserve you' so Chloé being in an abusive parenting situation in Representation is supposed to be 'punishment'(ewww)
André is not off the hook either. People look at him 'spoiling' her and leave it at that. Well, 'spoiling' can in fact be abusive too. Let's look at what we see:
André has been her primary caregiver for 14 years now, so he has had the most responsibility in molding what we see for good or bad(mostly bad). She does learn from him too. Darkblade she proudly announces she learned everything about winning elections from watching her father. He's also excessively arrogant (I'm the symbol of Paris!) and quite willing to abuse his power for his own ends(having Roger round up protestors etc) which explains where Chloé learned where power is to be abused.
André is also extremely neglectful as a parent, extreeeeemely. Let's hit a bunch of points in the order they come to me.
Chloé lives *alone* in a hotel suite. There's no shared space, no family area. It's not even really her room. It's commercial, sterile. Where sre her hobbies? Posters? Even her *colors*? She is so used to being ignored at home that the girl who is loud as heck everywhere else doesn't make a single mark on her living space.
A hotel employee seems to think he needs to step in to raise Chloé. Let that sink in. An employee can see how bad it is and tried to make some kind of change, (he's working against a lifetime of ingrained behavior and is not very good at it himself). He doesn't even think to you know... Get Andre in to do this.
André was unaware or didn't care his daughter hasn't done schoolwork since Sabrina *learned to write*(5/6 yrs old) that is a shocking level of disinterest in your child. 6yr olds aren't criminal masterminds.
Andre supplants actual attention and affection with *stuff* he gives material possessions in *place* of parenting. This is somewhat similar to spoiling but not the same. André's method denies the child something vital. You see- things aren't a substitute for affection/attention, developmentally. And so while they may delight they never satisfy the need. They never validate the emotional attachment. So after the shine wears off, the hole is still there. So, like someone with an addiction, the child needs more, and more, and more. Since the needs are never met, it is never enough. And this is what the child views as *normal* this is simply *how it is*. They rarely know they are being given inadequate care because it's just life to them. Seeing something different in a one off doesn't make a dent vs a whole life.
This sort of thing makes a potent cocktail when mixed with the abandonment issues from her mother too. See- if her mother left, and daddy doesn't pay attention, anyone can leave. This leads to a cycle of pushing/demanding/hurting. The child expects to be left and let down, so they both try to reassure themselves it won't happen, and *make* it happen on their own terms (because they believe deep down it will) so more outrageous demands, because when those demands are met, it shows that you are still 'loved' and when they are not met, then there you go, you are not loved and they will leave you. It's a self-destructive spiral.
You see it play out with her interactions with her classmates and Sabrina specifically. How does she express affection? Gifts. What does she do? Push. Push and push and find the breaking point because if she can make Sabrina actually leave then it shows that she herself is worthless and her mother was right to leave her and her father is right to ignore her. Pretty messed up right? Yeah. Child abuse does horrible things to kids.
We're not done with André yet. Some people might say 'he expresses love for Chloé!' and to that I say- performatively.
André likes the idea of being a father. It's what respectable people do. It looks good on camera. It's someone to love him unconditionally. It's an ally against his wife.(broken home dynamics are horrible too) André just doesn't like having to parent for more than a snapshot.
We can see his interactions with Zoé highlight this too. He's delighted she's here!(a potential person on his side vs his wife and daughter) what's his first parenting advice? 'lock your dreams away and get on with life' A+ André.
What's he do in Queen Banana? He uses his power to let Chloé manipulate the movie *kicking Zoé out of it* This is the guy who is supposed to be supporting her? He only draws the line when it comes to sending Zoé away... Why? He doesn't want to lose an 'ally'. It's power dynamics. Not parenting. Where was he when Zoé was stuck in boarding school? He was going to keep Zoé in the divorce so clearly Mr Lee isn't in the picture, Audrey probably forgot Zoé existed, why didn't André bring Zoé to France and let the sisters grow up together? Oh, right, that might be work.
André likes Zoé because she comes pre-raised(boarding school was probably better than either parent) he doesn't have to put in work and he gets a free good kid to make him look like a father. She's his 'do over' as he throws the one he raised in the trash.
André shows his true colors when he's lamenting to Gabe about his corruption and abuse and blames ot on his 'heartless daughter' you know... The child he raised. The grown man is actually shoving his own corruption and misdeeds onto his child. You really don't need much more than that.
So, via neglect, verbal abuse, and emotional abuse the Bourgeois parents raised an incredibly messed up child. Chloé is not a 'good victim' like Adrien, she doesn't sulk quietly under abuse. She lashes out. She is hurt and angry and she passes the pain on. This is why they call it the cycle of abuse.
The end of Revolution illustrates this perfectly. Audrey throws verbal abuse at her on the plane. Angry that Chloé embarrassed her(not that she did wrong, Audrey loved the power grab) and calls her a loser by implication. You *see* it hit, the physical cringe. Then Chloé immedietely goes to try and pass on the pain. She is hurt and making someone else hurt is the only way to lessen it. She calls Marinette. Marinette breaks the cycle though, and good for her. But the show seems to have forgotten there's still one hurt child in this scene, and it doesn't seem to care.
I'm going to stop here for now. I probably left a bunch out, but I do have other things I need to do. Feel free to ask more questions. Thanks for taking the time to seek answers.

Miraculous fanart: Chloebug Date + Miraculous rewriting: Chloenette AU (Season 1)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I publish some new Chloenette images.
It's the sequel of my previous post
Season 2 rewrite
Time for the rewriting !
The Story and its changes:
Season 1:
Origins/Stoneheart:
Hawkmoth begins his villainous actions.
Marinette rescues Master Fu. At the Françoise Dupont school, she seats with Alya and eventually befriends with her.
Akumatized Ivan (Stoneheart) tracks down down Kim for revenge.
Marinette and Adrien meet their kwamis (Tikki and Plagg). They become Ladybug and Cat Noir.
After the first battle, Marinette thinks about to secretly give the Ladybug earrings to someone but hesitates between Alya, Sabrina and Chloé.
When Marinette and Adrien meet first time, there isn't any chewing-gum incident. Instead of, Chloé just roasts Marinette and Alya (in Chloé's mind, she imagined Marinette and Alya as a potential date: Ridiculous !). Adrien is uncomfortable about the blondie's behavior.
Adrien befriends with Nino who learns him to be friends with real honest people.
Stoneheart comes back. He kidnaps Mylène and Chloé. The latter openly mocks the Myvan (Mylène + Ivan) ship as she already laughed of Ivan being a "monster".
Stoneheart throws out Chloé from the Eiffel Tower. Meanwhile, Marinette, who becomes Ladybug again, saves Chloé in extremis.
Hawkmoth publicly introduces himself to Parisians and claims the Ladybug's and Cat Noir's miraculouses.
The two heroes deakumatize Ivan. They save Ivan and Mylène of their fall.
Adrien/Cat Noir develops a love crush on Ladybug.
After the Stoneheart's second incident, Marinette and Alya steal Chloé's and Sabrina's seats in class. In this AU, Marinette stands up against Chloé and convinces the latter to sit at the desk of the first rank (the Chloé's and Sabrina's initial seats). Chloé accepts these terms, she can see Adrien/Adrikins at her left.
The umbrella scene happens, Adrien tells to Marinette his life before his first day at Françoise Dupont school. Effectively, Marinette begins to have feelings on Adrien. She falls in love with him (same situation in canon but without the Derision trauma but she's just: Shy !).
In same time, Chloé expresses thanks to Ladybug on social media. Due to events, she develops a crush on Ladybug and tries to forget Marinette. Meanwhile, the blondie is still confused between the bakery girl and Adrikins.
The Bubbler:
Marinette tries to offer her blue scarf to Adrien for his birthday (same way as in canon).
When Chloé comes to wish happy birthday to Adrien, she doesn't hustle Marinette.
Nino is akumatized into The Bubbler, sends all adults to the sky (except Gabriel Hawkmoth) and forces all the teenage people from Paris to celebrate Adrien's birthday in a form of a "party".
In this AU, Chloé offers to Marinette a dance but the latter politely declines because she must go to put the post-it on the gift. Chloé layer dances with Adrien anyway.
Ladybug properly interupts the Bubbler's party (no jealousy crisis like there was in canon).
Ladybug and Cat Noir save the day by deakumatizing Nino.
The next day, Adrien wears the scarf and he believes it's his father who offered it to him. That surprises Marinette when he tells thar to her, Alya ans Nino but she chooses to not reveal herself about the scarf.
Alya comforts Mari. Mari comforts Chloé (the latter was angry about having her gift get delayed).
Mr Pigeon:
The Design contest happens. The major difference is Chloé doesn't try to copy Marinette's designs. Instead of that, she makes Sabrina to create the bowler hat for service.
Sabrina's Chloé's hat could have yellow/golden colours.
But Marinette eventually wins the contest with her feather-themed hat. She is even praised by Gabriel Agreste and Adrien.
The battle against Mr Pigeon happens. No modification of the canon.
Lady Wifi:
Alya discovers Chloé has got a yo-yo in her bag. She believes she is Ladybug.
With the help of Nino, she tries to inspect Chloé's locker. She is eventually busted.
Chloé fires Alya causes the expellment of Alya out of the school by blackmailing Mr Damocles.
In this AU, Chloé rids off a rival ridiculous but 'nuisible' girl while Sabrina feels guilty about Alya's expellment (she recognizes in discretion Chloé's Mr Damocles decision is too excessive).
Lady Wifi events are happening like in canon. But Ladybug finds out Chloé is responsible of the Alya's expellment and takes more seriously the bad action the blondie had committed.
After the battle, Ladybug "reconciles" Chloé and Alya. The Ladyblog reporter eventually reintegres Françoise Dupont school.
Alya excludes Chloé of her list of people suspected to be Ladybug, recognizing her error.
At the end, there is a line of Alya to Marinette:
Ladybug is too kind. She could never bully or expell schoolmates like Chloé does it.
That makes Marinette blushing and having fun.
Pixelator:
Same story than the canon.
Jagged Stone comes to the Grand Hôtel with his assistant Penny and his crocodile Fang.
Vincent Aza, a fan, stalks Jagged for selfies. The fan is eventually expelled out of the Hôtel.
In this AU, when Marinette quits the Hotel for going at home to make glasses Jagged recquires, Chloé just says to the bluenette with a sarcastical tone:
Good Luck, Dupain-Cheng ! 😘
Pixelator commits his photo-carnage (he sends his targets/victims in his white boards from his house) at the Grand Hôtel and at the Arc-De-Triomphe (still identical story to the canon).
Ladybug rescues Jagged. She confronts Pixelator. Adrien and Chloé are photo-carnaged and later freed.
With the help of Cat Noir, Jagged (and the unawaited help of Chloé), Ladybug manages to neutralize Pixelator and deakumatize him.
Jagged receives his Eiffel Tower-themed glasses from Marinette. He later invites the entire Miraclass to his concert (Chloé included).
Marinette, Adrien, Alya, Nino, and Chloé (+ Sabrina) come to the Jagged Stone concert as VIPs.
Chloé goes to the concert only because Marinette and Adrien are here (she still prefers XY Roth to Jagged).
Darkblade:
Class representative election happens.
Marinette runs for class representative as candidate.
In this AU, Chloé talks with Marinette and requests to her explanations about her surprising candidacy (it was Chloé who was the class representative of her class in previous grades in every year).
Marinette already knows Chloé is blackmailing her classmates to prevent them to run to the election. But this time, she maintains her candidacy (due to Ladybug's influence(herself lol !) and Tikki's advices).
Chloé eventually sends Sabrina to discover Marinette's "dark" secrets at the Dupain-Cheng bakery. Resigned, Sabrina executes her "bestie"'s order (she is aware she is going to steal her 'formerly' friend).
Chloé organisates a Jagged Stone's autograph seance at thé Mairie of Paris and invites all her classmates for buy their votes.
Sabrina joins Chloé with the secret diary but her hand is consequently trapped in the box. Because of that, she expresses to the blondie she regrets her act.
In this AU, Chloé's blackmailing towards Marinette takes the form of a 'negociation': To improve Marinette's image at the school by letting Chloé win the election in exchange of get the stolen diary back.
The battle against Darkblade/Armand D'Argencourt happens. Ladybug and Cat Noir save the day again.
After the battle, the Chloé's blackmailing attempt is exposed. There is Marinette's speech about voting for better ideas.
Chloé openly retires her candidacy with humility.
Marinette becomes the class president. Alya is her deputy.
Chloé will pretend to people she had let Marinette win for save her own reputation (because she wants to preserve her friendship with Adrien too).
Dark Cupid:
Marinette (helped by Alya) tries to confess her love to Adrien. She finds the Adrien's unfinished love letter (same way as in canon).
Chloé, in her moment, tricks Adrien with a "just cause" thing for make him to sign an autograph on the poster.
So she can laugh at the girls from the Adrien fan-club.
In this AU, Kim tries to confess her admiration toward Chloé (the common point they have is the taste for pranks). That doesn't mean he doesn't try to date her. He is already in couple with Ondine.
Chloé, of course, declines the Kim's "love confession" (even if she does it less cruelly) . That causes the latter's akumatization.
The battle with Dark Cupid is happening (identically to the canon).
The Ladybug-Cat Noir Kiss scene happens too. The Adrien poster vandalism too.
Chloé borrows some money to his dad for donate to charity associations.
His dad is the mayor and at the same time he has a fiscal bank account for his family (he can spoil his wife and his daughter in money and luxurious gifts for satisfy their whims 💰💵💸).
She makes her donations very fast for hide the incident of the vandalized poster (Sabrina causes it under the Dark Cupid influence).
Kim offers his Valentine-themed gift to Ondine.
In parallel, Marinette/Ladybug discretly sends the love letter back to Adrien. The latter recognizes his letter and sees out someone has already answered to his confession. That makes him blush ans he thinks Ladybug could be the answerer.
In parallel again, Chloé think about offer a Valentine-themed gift for Ladybug but nobody knows the latter's real identity.
So the blondie furtively puts her gift in the locker of the first person she thought about: Marinette.
Marinette blushes when she discovers it. Meanwhile, the gift hasn't any name: It's anonymous.
She just guesses Chloé can be the giver. The gift contains a poem with a line: When I see you, I feel utterly ridiculous while you're miraculous. 💗
Horrificator:
Same story than the canon. The Miraclass make a short horror film.
There are minor changes for this AU.
Chloé afraids Mylène (that causing the latter's akumatization into Horrificator).
Chloé answers to everyone it was just a joke: she doesn't realizes the scale of her prank. That angers Ivan. Marinette and Adrien object her. Even Kim feels disappointed about the blondie's joke: Not cool !
When Marinette sends Chloé to search an nursery uniform for the movie, the latter leaves the classroom with Sabrina, Kim and Max.
In this AU, Chloé makes more time to realize Marinette has sent her far from the movie shoot.
Horrificator kidnaps Chloé, Kim and Max. Only Sabrina manages to escape.
The Marinette-Adrien kiss moment is interupted by Sabrina who warns the entire class about Horrificator.
Globally, the battle between Ladybug, Cat Noir, the Miraclass and Horrificator happens in a similar way to the canon. The method used to defeat and deakumatize Horrificator is the same method as in canon: a mini-concert.
After the battle, the movie is presented to the mayor (Chloé's Daddy): of course, it was rejected.
Chloé expresses a bit of apologies to Mylène and Ivan in présence of Marinette ans Adrien. She does it by fearing any possible comeback of Horrificator or Stoneheart.
Evillustrator:
Chloé laughs at Nathaniel about his love crush on Marinette in presence of the entire class. The blondie even briefly plays with his sketchbook.
In this AU, the blondie roasts the artist. Her line to Nathaniel:
You're too ridiculous. Too utterly ridiculous for having Dupain-Cheng as your lover.
Marinette is embarrassed by hearing Chloé speak like that. So the bakery girl feels compassion for Nathaniel.
The latter boy is akumatized into Evillustrator and he seeks revenge against Chloé in reason of the humiliation she has done to him.
Mrs Mendeleiev composes the groups of students of the class.
The known groups of three are: Adrien, Nino and Alya and Marinette, Chloé and Sabrina.
In this AU, Marinette and Chloé are used to be friends (or to be "friends"). So the bakery girl reluctantly accepts to work with the blondie. But she is less impacted than she is in the canon.
Knowing Sabrina, Marinette eventually teams up with her for the physics report. The two schoolmates work together early before Chloé joins them at the library.
Sabrina berates Chloé like she berates her in canon: I'm not your slave, Chloé !
Evillustrator suddenly comes to pertubate their time by summoning a giant hairdryer scarying Chloé.
The events with Evillustrator happen.
Ladybug and Cat Noir ask questions to Chloé about Evillustrator like in canon.
Marinette later sees Evillustrator coming at her home. She recognizes him as Nathaniel. The artist invites her to his private birthday. She accepts his invitation with the request of not harming Chloé.
Sabrina doesn't come to Marinette's home because the two girls were already well advanced in the schoolwork.
In this AU, Sabrina calls her just for express her worries toward her after the Evillustrator assault. So she doesn't berate Marinette (No comparison with Chloé).
The Evillustrator date happens. Cat Noir and Marinette ambush the akumatized supervillain but it fails.
Later, Ladybug and Cat Noir finally manage to defeat/deakumatize him in the Chloé's bedroom.
Aftermath: When Alya interviewes Chloé for the Ladyblog, the latter expresses her thanks to Ladybug for protecting her during the late night (instead of blaming the two heroes of trashing her bedroom as in canon).
Marinette and Adrien discuss together about Cat Noir (in the same way as in canon).
Chloé and Sabrina reconcile each other.
Nathaniel begins to work a comic about Ladybug. He comes to the art room joining his friend Alix.
Rogercop:
Plagg seeks cheese in the Chloé's bag and he accidentally gets his head stuck in the bracelet.
Chloé sees her bracelet has disappeared from her bag.
Adrien sees Plagg with the bracelet rolling to his feet.
In this AU (I repeatly write these words for more tell the divergence), Chloé doesn't accuse Marinette (not directly). Meanwhile, she publicly says there is a thief among them.
Agent Roger (Sabrina's dad) calls Chloé back with his moral quote: Every citizen is innocent until proven guilty.
But the mayor Bourgeois orders to Roger to search all the people from the classroom. Roger objects: The mayor's order breaks the law. Then the mayor fires the policeman.
The next scenes happen: Roger's akumatization into Rogercop, the debate about finding the "thief" in the classroom, Adrien frees Plagg from the bracelet, the battle against the Akuma.
Rogercop uses Chloé as hostage for make André Bourgeois leave his mayor fonctions.
Ladybug and Cat Noir are designated outlaws by Rogercop.
The two heroes defeat and deakumatize the villain.
Cat Noir puts the bracelet back in the Chloé's bag (that makes everyone believe the bracelet was just misplaced).
Mayor rehabilitates Roger in his policeman title (he even promotes him as lieutenant).
In the end from this AU, Chloé could publicly say she is sorry for hastly making accusations at the school (in front of Ladybug).
Timebreaker
Same story than the canon.
Alix receives, for her birthday (15 years old), a special gift from his father: The Bunny Miraculous A watch "from her ancestor".
Kim (on foot) and Alix (on skates) challenge each other in a race at the Trocadéro. The Miraclass comes as spectators.
Difference with the canon: When Chloé holds the Alix's watch, Marinette and Adrien, who hold the banner, say to her to return it. Instead of mocking Alix's watch (as in canon), Chloé would say:
Relax, Dupain-Cheng, Adrikins and losers. I just want to know how much does this watch cost.
Chloé eventually opens the watch and screams about seeing an hologram from the object. She accidentally destroy the watch (same way as in canon).
Alix is akumatized into Timebreaker and the Time massacre begins.
Of course, Timebreaker absorbs Cat Noir's energy causing his erasure. So she travels to the past (with Ladybug who is following her), to the moment from some minutes ago for saving her watch.
Like in canon, The presence of Ladybug and Timebreaker cause the watch's crushing in this new timeline. Alternate Alix is akumatized too.
Ladybug, Cat Noir and the Ladybug from the alternate timeline fight against TWO Timebreakers.
The end of battle is the same: Timebreakers are defeated. The world and its timeline are returned back to normal (Thanks to Lucky CharmS). The Alix's is even fully restored.
Reflekta
It's Photograph Day at the Françoise Dupont school. Juleka has a picture-day "curse" on her.
In this AU, Juleka's akumatization factor will be a bit of different: No one blocks her in the bathroom with a chair. She just laments about her cursed life too long that she misses the photo shoot.
Despite Rose's recomfort, Juleka is eventually akumatized into Reflekta.
While this moment, Marinette goes to delete the school picture in the Damocles' office but Chloé and Sabrina bust her. In this situation, Marinette's office violation can conduct to her expellment.
Sabrina can feel ashamed to see Marinette violating school rules. Meanwhile Chloé gives to the bakery girl a chance of forget the crime: She offers to Dupain-Cheng to give up the idea of delete the picture in exchange .
Because of the fact the three girls hanged out together in the past from this AU, Marinette takes a better idea: To offer to Chloé and Sabrina a deal.
Marinette's deal talks about to take a better school photography than the actual picture.
Convicted, Chloé accepts the deal and orders to Sabrina to keep secret the intrusion. A win-win.
When the three girls (the "trio") leave the office, they confront Reflekta. The akuma had already a lot of students and Cat Noir into Reflektas. So she turns Chloé and Sabrina into Reflektas too (except Marinette who manages to escape).
Ladybug and a Reflekta-ed Cat Noir fight Reflekta together. The battle happens identically to the canon until the Juleka's deakumatization and the aftermath.
After the incident, the Miraclass makes a photo group together at the park.
And Juleka is included. That ends the photo "curse".
Chloé and Sabrina are present in the new picture.
The picture in this AU be like (read my post for see the difference):
Tumblr media
Princess Fragrance
Same story than the canon. Prince Ali comes to Paris.
Chloé finds out a red "plushie": it's Tikki sick. Marinette had accidentally lost her kwami while she was with Adrien.
In this AU, when Rose requests Chloé to send her letter to the Prince Ali, Chloé acts as her own semi-bully.
Her line to Rose:
I have no time with your fish funk, Cinderella ! It's a day between rich people. No peasants allowed.
A disgusted Chloé just passively throws the letter she had comprimed into a ball and throws it like a trash before leaving the place in limousine.
Rose is eventually akumatized into Princess Fragrance.
Marinette retrieves back Tikki. She meets Master Fu a "pet healer" who heals Tikki.
Cat Noir fights Princess Fragrance, evacuates Prince Ali, the latter's chaperone and Chloé.
Meanwhile, Cat Noir is brainwashed/fragranced like the test of the group.
Ladybug eventually saves the day like in canon.
Rose and Prince Ali befriend together (at the surprise of Chloé).
Guitar Villain
Jagged Stone requests Marinette about creating a new album cover.
But Bob Roth, the music producer, "advices" to the girl to design a "modern" version: A pink-themed cover based on XY's albums.
There are more Chloé's appearances in this AU than in canon.
The blondie accompanies Marinette to Jagged permitting to the latter girl to present the cover to the musician. The blondie rich girl will join Adrien later.
The Jagged's akumatization into Guitar Villain happens.
The battle happening is identical to the canon. Meanwhile, Chloé "offers her help" to Ladybug and Cat Noir (It's comical: She just comes to rescue XY Roth).
In aftermath, Marinette manages to design a Rock'n'Roll-themed cover for Jagged (At the objection of Bob).
Jagged's new album becomes N°1 on charts.
Adrien congratulates Marinette for the exploit. Chloé praises her too but with some nuance.
Kung Food
Wang Cheng/Cheng Shifu, Marinette's great-uncle, comes to Paris for participate to the World Greatest Chef contest that organisated at the Grand Hôtel.
Like in the canon, Marinette (under Alya's advice) asks Adrien for help to communicate with her great-uncle.
The story is the same until Chloé's comes to see Dupain-Cheng and Adrikins.
In this AU, Chloé sees them as her lovely "friends". In canon, only Adrikins is her lovely "friend" (as love interest) while she hates Dupain-Cheng.
Chloé says to the Adrienette duet she doesn't like the soup/dish (So. Why are you become a jury member if you don't want to eat/taste foods of candidates ? 🤔😑🥣).
Realizing the fact Cheng Shifu is part of the bakery girl family, the rich brat decides to impress the latter girl by cooking a dish.
For that, she distracts Shifu by telling him "Marinette is waiting him outside of the kitchen".
In the kitchen, she takes a pressure cooker that already contains a soup (unaware it's Shifu's soup) and she "cooks" it with everything she can find at hand. She is furtive. She cooks a soup with her own imagination.
When Chloé finishes it, Shifu comes back ans doesn't remark the Chloé's modification.
As in canon, the jury members are disgusted about tasting Shifu's "Celestial soup" and decline the cooker out of the competition.
Shifu claims someone has sabotaged his soup. Marinette and Adrien have the same thought about the sabotage thing.
Marinette suspects Chloé. The latter innocently whistles and just tells to have cooked her own "ridiculous" soup (advising the others to not taste it).
Cheng Shifu, who finds out the Chloé's presence in kutchen wasn't a coincidence, believes the latter has sabotaged his cooking and he is eventually akumatized into Kung Food.
The akuma incident happens in the same way as in the canon.
Chloé is taken as prisoner by Kung Food's brainwashed slaves. Ladybug and Cat Noir come to save her.
They eventually defeat Kung Food and his slaves (with the unawaited help of Chloé).
After the battle, Chloé expresses her "apologizes" to Cheng Shifu and she confesses to want to impress Marinette.
Shifu is reintegrated to the competition and he wins the title of World's Greatest Chef with the Marinette soup (previously named Celestial soup).
Shifu teaches to both Marinette and Chloé how to cook the concerned soup.
Antibug
Tumblr media
There are major changes for this episode.
The Sabrina's akumatization into Vanisher happens in same way as in canon. Chloé and Sabrina initially played together with Armand Jean-??? the butler. The two girls were disguised as Ladybug and Cat Noir.
Chloé sees Jagged Stone and a reporter team (leaded by Nadja Chamack) talking together. The blondie thinks about a joke. She comes to the journalists by ignoring Sabrina and her butler. The joie: To pretend to be the real Ladybug.
Her joke seems work well until Sabrina "wastes" the plan.
Chloé becomes mad toward Sabrina. The "sidekick" tries to express an apologize but the blondie "fires" her.
The next day, Sabrina attempts to fix her relationship. But Chloé coldly says to her:
I would have preferred you were invisible. To be friends with you was ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous !
The Vanisher's torment against Chloé happens identically to the canon. Ladybug and Cat Noir confront the invisible villainess.
Chloé comes to help the heroes but Ladybug backfires her (she was aware about Chloé's "superhero identity usurpation" attempt).
After deakumatizing Sabrina, Chloé hears the conversation Ladybug and Cat Noir.
In this AU, the conversation happens like that:
Cat Noir: Why didn't you listen to Chloé ? She was only trying to help. Ladybug: First, because Chloé has put us in danger including herself. And about endangering herself, Second, she has been totally irresponsible to claim to be me earlier. Do you forget the Lady Wifi incident ? I was not gonna let her playing hero.
Hearing and misunderstanding her potential love interest's idol's words, Chloé is heartbroken. She falls in tears.
Hawkmoth uses this opportunity to akumatize Chloé into Antibug.
Hawkmoth: Antibug, I am Hawk Moth. Ladybug has broken your heart, I give you the chance for revenge. So, shall we defeat Ladybug together ? Chloé: You can count on me Hawk Moth ! There will only be one heroine in Paris, me ! Antibug !
While Ladybug and Cat Noir finish their talk with journalists, Antibug stands up against them.
Antibug's introduction line to Ladybug:
Hahahaha ! You should have accept my help to defeat Vanisher. You've broken my heart. And now, I'm going to break you !
The battle happens as similar as in canon until the deakumatization scene.
During the battle, Antibug/Chloé confesses to Ladybug to be in love with her.
Ladybug tries to reason with Antibug by explaining about her hero's duties and responsibilities but the contradicted villainess doesn't care.
The Lucky Charm and Anti Charm summonings happen.
About deakumatizing Chloé, Ladybug will say this speech (Shadybug vibes):
You're right, Chloé. Reject your help is an error. You have feelings on me and I respect and tolerate it. Sincerely I never wanted to hurt you. I want to say that: You're an exceptional girl, Chloé Bourgeois. I consider you as a close friend. You aren't ridiculous.
Tumblr media
Touched by Ladybug's words, Antibug is crying. She feels emotional and thanks her heroin. Chloé says to her:
And you aren't utterly ridiculous, Ladybug !
Chloé executes the Miraculous Antibug repairing her own damages.
Afterward, Chloé rejects the akuma (Hawkmoth: NOOOOO !!!) that impresses Ladybug and Cat Noir.
After the battle, Chloé reconciles with Ladybug and accepts to reconcile with Sabrina too.
At the school, Chloé "apologizes" to Sabrina and rehires her befriends with her again.
We can say Ladybug and Chloé are more closer in this AU than in canon.
Volpina
Here comes the launch of the story.
Same story than the canon. Adrien "steals" a grimoire from the Gabriel's safe (with the complicity of Plagg).
A new student girl named Cerise Bianca Lila Rossi comes to Françoise Dupont school and gains sympathy of the schoolmates by lying telling her stories.
In this AU, Marinette, Alya, Chloé and Sabrina (forming a quartet) come to school together.
Marinette is aware about Lila's existence earlier than in the canon (possibly thanks to Sabrina and Chloé).
When Marinette stalks Adrien and Lila at the library, she is accompanied of Chloé.
In this AU, Chloé can temporary disturbs the "couple". Lila, unimpressed, passive-aggressively backfires/roasts the blondie girl who is angered. Chloé leaves the library while Marinette stays hidden for watching the scene.
Tikki recognizes the Grimoire/Spellbook when Adrien removes it from his schoolbag. But Lila steals the book (unknown to Adrien).
Marinette and Tikki eventually follow Lila until the park (the bakery girl remembers too the new student lied about being friends with Ladybug).
The "date" happens in the same way as in canon. Lila pretends to be a superheroin ("better" than Ladybug) to Adrien. Marinette, who has taken back the grimoire from the trashcan, becomes Ladybug and confronts the superliar exposing her on front of Adrien.
Humiliated, Lila is akumatized into Volpina. And the battle happens like in canon.
After the battle, Lila glares to Ladybug with the line: We'll never be friends.
Adrien finds out the Grimoire has disappeared. Gabriel will be aware about the book's disappearance
Marinette, under the guidance of Tikki, meets the guardian of the Miraculous: Master Fu. She comes to present the Grimoire to him.
End of Season 1. To be continued in Season 2.
You must see there are missing episodes: The Mime, Stormy Weather, The Paraoh, The Puppeteer, Copycat, The Gamer, Animan and Simon Says.
No need to adding these episodes because Chloé doesn't appear in theses and/or hasn't any interference in theses for the progress of the story.
It took me more one week for redact this rewrite.

Adult Chloé bexoming the new Mayor Bourgeois and is the exact opposite of André. She's just really competent at her job and turns out her "UGHHH FINE WHATEVER IF PEOPLE WANT IT GIVE IT TO THEM, WHAT ARE YOU STILL HERE FOR, GO MAKE IT HAPPEN AND STOP BOTHERING ME" attitude means like, a 100% approval rate (and her first lady thinks she could be a little nicer about it maybe)
Paris greatly improved but half of the population still thinks the mayor hates them. Which isn't really far off.
"Miss mayor, they're requesting to have a higher quality control regarding Andre's ice cream after reports of spoilt product has been received."
"Granted. Oh and, Sabrina?"
"Yes?"
"Kick the guy in jail for a few days."

why The Supreme gives Kagami, Luka, Felix and Chloé their miraculous instead of their parents, since they are already working alongside with him? or maybe their parents already used and now is their turn or something like that?
honestly the same reason Master Fu gives out the two most important miraculous to teenagers when it would make way more sense if he gave them to adults. Literally just because the story would be less interesting lmao.
The in-universe reason is that people who are next in line for the title of the Supreme all start out training as children/teens, and all of them are candidates for the next Supreme

The Crush | Percy Jackson
Tumblr media
Percy Jackson is a cool, simple guy who is also the famous son of Poseidon who helped save the world. But, talking to the pretty girl in his English class still seems impossible.
Warnings: Mature themes/language. Violence. Sexual content.
Chapter One
Chapter Two: Study Date
The English project was coming along slowly. Percy would often get sidetracked bickering with Clarisse, so Chloé usually ended up having to contain her rage toward Clarisse and facilitate like a single mother with two children. That day, after Clarisse had stormed out of class and left Percy and Chloé to deal, the two of them looked to each other awkwardly.
“We still have a lot to do,” Chloé said, slowly looking at her laptop to realize just how behind schedule they were.
“Yeah,” Percy nodded in agreement, sighing exhaustedly.
“My place?” she questioned.
Percy stopped for a moment, having to recalibrate as he took a moment to think about what she had actually meant.
“To finish up,” Chloé added. “If we just cram for a couple hours, we could probably get close to finishing.”
Aggressively shutting off the large part of his brain that was still a twelve year-old boy, Percy shook off his thoughts, trying to communicate like a normal person. She looked at him strangely, waiting for an answer.
“Uh, yeah,” he nodded quickly, “Sure.”
“Okay,” she agreed as he followed her out of the classroom.
He silently left the college campus with her, as she made her way onto the neatly paved roads of New Rome to where she lived. Percy had assumed that, like many of the other adult-aged demigods who attended college, she lived in one of the barrack-style apartments built after the camp was added onto to suit more demigods.
He quietly trailed behind Chloé, following her home to her condo not too far from the school campus.
“Here,” she said softly, pulling a small ring of keys from her pocket as she unlocked the door for him.
“Thanks,” Percy said graciously, walking in after her.
As soon he stepped over the threshold, he felt the energy change. It wasn’t necessarily in a bad way, but Percy had a difficult time placing the thoughts and feelings he experienced as he entered Chloé’s sanctuary. Although the place looked relatively normal and didn’t seem sinister at all, he felt almost as if his stomach had dropped when she closed the door behind him.
He didn’t feel trapped, but he felt intensely aware. There was a darker ambience to the room. All of the windows were covered with dark curtains that seemed black with a bluish hue, and the only lights in use didn’t light up more than half the room.
Percy made his way to her living room, nearly jumping as a small, dark animal jumped in front of him along the top of the couch. He breathed softly, calming himself as he realized it was just a black cat.
“Don’t mind Jet. He’s friendly,” Chloé assured him, setting her bag down on a leather armchair. “Once he gets to know you, anyway.”
“Yeah. Sure,” Percy nodded, slowly stroking along the cat’s soft black fur as it sat down on the couch.
It didn’t seem particularly thrilled that he was in its space, disregarding him with narrowed eyes the way it would a fly as he continued petting it in long, repetitive strokes, trying to earn its favor.
“Jet. That’s a cool name,” Percy remarked as he tried to bond with the animal.
Chloé just shook her head, disappearing upstairs as Percy was left to sit alone on the couch, with the cat jumping down into the arm rest to watch him.
“Hey, buddy,” Percy cooed, trying to earn the cat’s trust. “You’re a cute little guy, aren’t you?”
Somehow, he felt the cat was unamused as he continued to look forward while he pet him. Looking around the room, Percy began to think more and more that Chloé was the most mysterious human being he had ever met. Her house wasn’t exactly decorated like a witch’s house, but it wasn’t far off.
There were intricate, beautifully woven tapestries that hung on the walls, depicting dark but beautiful scenes like a pale moon shining on the ocean in the dark of night. There were dark-colored, jagged rocks displayed on the tables that looked as though they had been pulled from the depths of Hades, or somewhere equally sinister. There were dead flower arrangements mostly consisting of thin, prickly branches still sitting in vases.
“Cats like fish, right?” Percy wondered aloud, thinking that his father was the god of the sea. “If you want, I could put in a good word for you with my dad. But you’ll have to be nice to me, though.”
The cat looked up at him for a moment, seemingly a look of consideration in his yellow cat eyes before he looked towards the stairs at who Percy had assumed was his owner, continuing to allow Percy to pet him. Percy turned, looking for Chloé as someone else ended up coming down the stairs.
He saw a tall brown-haired girl, who completely ignored him as she disappeared into the kitchen. A family member or a roommate, Percy figured. He waited patiently for Chloé, who came back downstairs, looking toward the kitchen as she heard the sounds of the other girl cooking.
“Oh. That’s my sister, Max,” Chloé informed him, walking toward the record played on a stand between her small couches.
He nodded, watching as she looked through her extensive collection of records, putting on what he recognized to be some sort of indie rock, something more soft and agreeable.
“Who’s older?” Percy asked curiously.
“I am,” she responded coolly.
Chloé finally sat down beside him, pulling out her laptop and other materials from her black school bag with the nice silver buckle on it, looking over to him once she was settled in.
“Do you want anything to eat or drink?” she asked.
Percy had forgotten that people typically asked their guests this question.
“Uh, maybe a water?”
Chloé looked at him as he suddenly realized how on the nose the response was, before nodding and disappearing into the kitchen. He pointedly looked back at Jet, the sleek black cat, with a pointed expression on his face.
“Is she always like this?” he remarked.
The cat naturally said nothing as he continued giving it the attention it seemed to want, as something else small came running down the stairs, the sound of a tiny, twinkling bell filling the air, somewhat startling to Percy. He saw a little grey cat jumping from the floor up onto the couch, settling into his lap as it nuzzled him with its entire body.
Percy chuckled at the little Siamese cat, petting its head affectionately.
“Hey there,” he murmured, entertaining the playful animal. “Hi.”
“That’s Ash. She’s my sister’s,” Chloé said, handing him a full glass of water. “Sorry. I forgot to ask if you wanted ice,” she sat down beside him.
“No, it’s cool, this is perfect,” he promised, “Thank you.”
She nodded as she opened up her laptop. Percy reached into his backpack, pulling out his as he watched her for what to do, feeling that she was better at being a college student and an adult than he was. Even after defeating monsters and Titans as a demigod, Percy still felt awkward around his crush.
He and Chloé spent the next couple of hours or so working on the parts of the project Clarisse had been too fussy about, leaving only the parts she would have to work on herself. Throughout the whole thing, Chloé only had to explain a couple of things to him, which he felt decidedly proud about.
Percy only realized the time once they had finally finished working. As Chloé sighed and shut her laptop, he looked around the room anxiously, making a point of it as he stretched both of his arms out behind her, yawning as he tried to find a way to fill the silence between them.
He sat there beside her as she finally looked back to him, not saying anything yet. She only looked at him with no discernible expression on her face, as if taking him in for the first time.
“You, uh, have a really nice place here,” Percy Jackson remarked, looking around her and her sister’s shared condo.
“Thanks,” Chloé said as she turned to face him.
Percy waited nervously for her to speak, wondering if she was about to kick him out. He checked his phone; it was 5:16, and she was sure to have been annoyed at him by now.
“It’s five,” she pointed out eventually, not having anything else to say.
Percy frantically looked between all of her various features, trying to deduce the hidden meaning behind her words she had assumed he’d pick up on.
“Max is gonna be home in a few minutes,” she added. “You wanna stay for dinner?”
Percy’s eyes lit up anxiously as he realized what she was asking him. “Really?”
“Yeah,” Chloé nodded. “My sister made mac and cheese.”
This was more than enough for Percy to decide.
“Yeah. That sounds awesome,” he agreed, mouth watering at the mention of mac and cheese.
“You wanna come help me set the table and stuff?” she invited him.
“Yeah! Sure!”
Percy followed as Chloé led him into the kitchen, where the oven was already in use.
“Can you heat up the chicken?” she asked. “I’ll do the broccoli.”
“Sure,” he offered, seeing the pot sitting on the counter by the stove.
He looked between the pot and the stove, figuring Chloé had most likely meant for him to put it back on the burner and heat it up.
“This is a lot of food,” Percy realized as he heated up the large pot of chicken.
“Well, we have to make enough for all of us,” she pointed out.
“‘All of us’? Who else is coming?” he wondered.
“Our other siblings,” Chloé replied.
As if on cue, Percy heard the front door open as multiple sets of footsteps sounded.
“Chloé! We’re home!” Max yelled. “Go wash your hands! It’s dinner time!”
Percy panicked as he automatically went to the kitchen sink to wash his hands.
“Not you,” she rolled her eyes, “You’re cooking.”
Chloé pulled the mac and cheese from the oven, making sure the stove was off as she moved everything to the dinner table as he helped set the five places she’d put out plates for. Max, Chloé’s sister, sat at her place next to Chloé by the head of the table.
“Max, this is Percy. Percy, this is Max,” she said formally.
“Hey,” Percy waved in a friendly manner.
“Hey,” Max said coolly.
Suddenly, two children came running to the table, taking their seats as Percy looked to them in surprise.
“Guys, this is Percy,” Chloé announced in an authoritative voice.
“Hi, Percy,” a boy and girl chorused before they dug in, with Max occasionally helping them scoop.
As she helped put food on their plates, the two children stared at Percy blankly.
“What are your names?” he asked with a smile.
“I’m Laney,” the girl told him.
“My name’s Hunter,” the boy responded.
“Nice to meet you guys,” Percy said warmly. “How old are you?”
“I’m six,” Hunter told him excitedly. “My birthday was Sunday.”
“Well, happy late birthday,” Percy smiled. “How old are you, Laney?”
“Eleven,” she said promptly.
“Are you both Half-Bloods?”
“Yeah,” Laney nodded.
“They’re both going to school until they’re ready for the full camp,” Chloé explained.
“Are you all Nox kids?” Percy asked them.
“No,” Max said quickly. “Chloé’s Nox, I’m Mars, Laney’s Venus, and Hunter’s Hephaestus.”
“Is that even possible?” he wondered.
“Apparently,” Max shrugged. “Our dad’s a slut.”
Percy looked over at the kids in shock, slowly seeing that they were used to the way their older sisters talked and knew better than to repeat any of it in front of them.
“Do you guys take care of them?” Percy asked Chloé and Max, not seeing any parents around.
“Yeah,” Max nodded, not talking much at all as she ate.
“Why?” he looked to Chloé.
“Our dad ran out,” she explained bluntly.
“Oh,” Percy said softly, frowning.
“It’s fine,” she consoled him as she put food on her plate, “We’re better off without him. Trust me.”
“Why, uh… Why’d he leave?” he asked thoughtfully.
“He’s an alcoholic. I don’t even think it’s that he left, he honestly probably forgot how to find his way back,” Chloé scoffed.
Percy was thrown by the way she spoke about things even in front of the kids. He sat through the dinner with a different appreciation for Chloé and her sister, not that he hadn’t appreciated Chloé before. He watched as she and her sister spent the evening talking to the kids about their days at school and the after school program.
He couldn’t help but smile at the way Chloé handled the kids, speaking a little more pleasantly to them and taking the time to make sure they all finished their homework. Percy watched her as she sent them upstairs to wash up before bed, admiring her responsibility.
“You wanna go for a walk?” Chloé asked as she finished up.
“Hmm?” Percy perked up, not expecting her to say anything to him.
“For a smoke,” she stated.
“Yeah! Sure,” he accepted excitedly, standing up.
Chloé nodded and grabbed her jacket, leading him out the door. Percy dutifully trailed behind her, lips pursed together as he waited for her speak as she lit up a cigarette.
“You want one?” she asked, offering him the open pack.
“Uh…” Percy was lost as he tried to come up with an answer.
He knew he didn’t smoke, of course, but he also couldn’t come up with a great reason as to why. He didn’t smoke, but he’d also never smoked a cigarette before.
“Yeah! Sure,” he smiled, hesitantly pulling a cigarette from the pack.
He took it and just held it in his hand as she handed him her lighter, which he took, holding both in each hand in confusion.
“Uh,” Chloé stared.
Percy looked at her awkwardly, still holding the cigarette.
“Here,” she said, taking the cigarette out of his hand.
He made a sound as she stuck the cigarette into his mouth, chuckling as she lit it for him, hand shielding it from the wind. Percy silently nodded his thanks as she pulled away, lighting her own cigarette.
“You’ve never had a cigarette before, have you?” she figured.
Percy looked down in defeat. “No, I haven’t,” he confessed. “But I’ve done everything else before,” he tried to save it.
“Everything?” Chloé raised an eyebrow.
“You know what I mean,” he groaned.
“You’re more of a drinker, huh?” she deduced.
“I get high too,” he shrugged awkwardly.
“And you can’t light a cigarette?” she questioned in confusion.
“Hey, I, like, never do the lighting!” Percy protested. “I always have people do the rolling and the lighting for me! Because I don’t know how,” he mumbled under his breath.
“I can roll one for you,” she offered softly.
“What, right now?” he looked at her in surprise.
“Yeah. Sure,” she agreed. “We can split some in my room.”
Percy nearly fainted at those words.

Tbh, the season 5 finale had his failures, but a lot of its salters would never see ML again unless the season 6 ends up with the Love Square imploding bc of Marinette's 'crime' of "Not immediately telling Adrien about Gabriel being Hawk Mother, and him being a sentibeing", everyone hating Marinette for "not stopping Gabriel", Kagami stopping being in love with Felix and stealing back the peacock (To give it to "someone better"), leaving Felix to being beaten up bc of his actions in "Strike Back", and Gabe's reputation to be completely destroyed.
I guess that means I’m not a salter cause I don’t want the lovesquare to implode.
The only thing I actually want is for Adrien to learn the truth.
If he can at least learn that he’s a sentimonster, and that his father was an asshole. I think season 6 can be salvaged.
Cause quite frankly I’m tired of 14 year olds dealing with the vitriol and hate that should be reserved for the asshole adults.
Felix is an ass but he already got his comeuppance multiple times.
Marinette’s entire life is her getting punished for most things outside of her control and trying to take responsibility. She doesn’t deserve the hate. Even if she didn’t tell Adrien right away, look at the situation? Would you tell the recent orphan that his father was actually the one to cause all the suffer because his father went crazy trying to revive his dead mother who died using a broken miraculous that created him? Even me as a grown ass man would have trouble explaining THAT trauma bomb.
Lila I’m convinced isn’t actually a teen but actually an evil horror or something that’s older.
Chloé was always a b**** but the efforts the show went to demonize her after season 3 actually made her pitiable. The adults are still somehow worse in my opinion.
