So it seems like your requests are open? Cool! I have an idea for COTL! Lamb! Reader is Narinder's chosen vessel rather than the Lamb, and they're EXHAUSTED after everything that's happened. So when Narinder summons them, they say "what if I say "no?"" Narinder just goes, "what?" And they respond "listen, I just died, watched my entire race die, and have been running for my entire life. Can I at least have a break before I get thrown into this?" I just thought it would be funny XD

"Come closer. Fear not, for though you are already dead....I still have need of you."

Standing silently in the white void, you gazed up at the giant feline bishop--a god chained as you, a sacrificial lamb, were now. His arms were stripped to the bone, iron clasps keeping him shackled to the ground and preventing him from freely moving them around too much.

Yet despite him being imprisoned like some caged beast...he seemed no-less revering, and you couldn't help but admire him..

Even if he is the reason you were sent to your death.

Lambs all over the Old Faith were murdered in cold blood, their children snatched and butchered and their villages sieged by the fanatics of the five ruling Bishops. You had been on the run for weeks, without knowing why exactly they targeted your kind specifically.

What did such peaceful wool-covered creatures ever do to deserve this sort of horrible fate?

Only after they have captured you did you realize you were the last living lamb...and that the Bishops put all the others to the blade for one reason:

A prophecy.

A prophecy that spoke of their banished brother--the "One Who Waits"--being freed from his chains by a lamb who'd serve as his vessel and destroy the ways of the Old Faith from the inside out.

For that, the Bishops left none alive in hopes of stopping the prophecy from ever taking place, wanting to ensure the "heretic" stayed in captivity forever.

However after your execution, their plan seemed to have gone awry...considering you, a lamb, stood before the very person they desperately didn't want you to see.

"Those foolish Bishops thought they could keep you from me in death, but instead they sent you straight to me!" Narinder boasted. "I will give you life again, but at a price."

You nervously gulped. "And..what would that be?"

"All I ask is for you to start a cult in my name. Do we have a deal?"

".....what if..I said no?"

"....what?" He narrowed his eyes in confusion, surprised that you didn't readily agree to his offer like other vessels before you. They all jumped at the chance to come back to life..but not you. He began to feel a little insulted.

"Do you take me for a liar, little lamb?" He sneered. "Have you no desire for vengeance against the ones who senselessly destroyed everything you knew and loved? Believe it or not, I can give you that power-"

"I-I absolutely believe you, my lord." You quickly backtracked, kneeling down in respect. "I want that more than anything. It's just...so much has happened all at once. My village burning down, my capture, my death...I haven't known peace until I was sent here. I think..t-taking a small breather first would help me feel better prepared to start a cult in your great name..."

You felt like you rambled a bit too long for his liking, seeing as his stoic expression didn't once waver. Even the smaller cat guardians flanking him hadn't moved an inch, although the one in a white cloak did open his eyes, flashes of concern in them.

Yet Narinder's silence was most discomforting, as you feared that you've angered him and he was going to revoke the offer.

Bowing your head even lower, you squeezed your eyes shut, trembling. "Forgive me, I-I spoke out of turn. I..don't think I'm the right fit to be your vessel-"

However you stopped all movements as you no longer felt the weight of the chains holding you down. And you realized they had disappeared, allowing you to move your arms freely.

Although your neck still ached tremendously...at least the clasp wasn't crushing it anymore.

"No. You are the one I need...for it cannot be anybody else." His voice purred, causing you to look back up at him. This time his gaze seemed softer. "I seldom know what has transpired in the realm of the living..seeing only mere glimpses of certain events. But you've given me better understanding of your tragic circumstances. So I will allow you a brief moment of tranquility to prepare you for your task ahead."

You lightly gasped, smiling as you jumped up into a standing position, hands clasped together in relief. "Oh, thank you so much-!"

"Do not assume I shall always be this charitable." His voice went right back to being condescending. "Take gratitude that I permitted this...and do not ask me for anymore favors henceforth. When you lead a cult, you may not always get "breathers"."

"..I-I understand." You rubbed your neck bashfully. "I appreciate this a lot."

"So I reckon we have a deal? When you're ready, I will guide you on what must be done, and you shall take the Red Crown atop my head to fulfill your mission."

"Very well. I shall gladly serve you and repay the debt I owe."

Narinder blinked, silent for a few long moments, before he grinned wickedly, sharp teeth spreading from ear-to-ear. All three of his eyes seemed to glow brighter.

"Excellent. You understand what must be done and already show such strong devotion to me...you'll be my finest vessel yet."

Haunted House - Narinder PMV

So this project was inspired by a warrior cats YCH animation to the same song I saw on twitter while having a panic attack, A BIT WILD of an inspiration but like- the song resonates with me, and calmed me down. I ALSO LOVE CENTAUR WORLD. Listening to the voice and lyrics I was like oh Nari NEEDS to sing this. I knew I wasn't cut out for fully animating just yet so I decided to storyboard a PMV.

Then I created color-guides so I had something to color-pick, and reference for outfits:

I quickly designed Narinder's bishop outfit based off of one of his follower outfits. He's unaffected by the chains in this design, so he has no scars, his arms are not rotting, his black skin isn't fading, and his eyes aren't worn with tiredness. I then edited the colors a bit to match the tone (with a filter, lazy I know but idk color theory)

I took each frame from the PMV and started a re-enforced sketch.

After making this I was unsure if I wanted to go line-less, colored sketch, or fully lined art. I ended up really liking the line-less art I did for the color guides (which was made with the selection tool) and started coloring underneath all my sketches.

Here I made the quick decision to merge the sketch layer ontop of his rotted arms, so they would have more depth. Especially since each arm is colliding with the other, I wanted the limbs to stand out as their own individual 3D objects and not become a giant black mass. Then i added some atmospheric gradients after coloring.

You see, gradients don't render very well on videos. It wasn't too bad in one of my test renders, but I wasn't going to risk extra youtube compression or anything else ruining the art quality. That's why you see all the texture in the final. It's just me lightly running along the drawings with textured smudge brushes and a little bit of spray brush.

The backgrounds ALL had this texture with Overlay layer setting on it to tie things together. (I made this texture with the same brushes I blend with)

I made the sparks move by layering transparent pngs together, [sparks > narinder > more sparks behind him > bakcground] and made like, 2 keyframes on the sparks in order to make them slide around. (To those who don't know adobe premiere: WHAT I DID LOT EASIER THAN U THINK, LIKE VERY EASY LOL)

And lastly, for those who want to make projects like these, I recommend you make a folder for it. I just hate doing it for some reason and then my desktop screen looks like this xD

Just a thought I caught while reading the recent POV from Passionate Souls.

Narinder, you keep considering yourself as the rightful owner of the Red Crown, but... What are your rights? You could truly call it yours previously, when it was given to you by Shamura, who possed it and had a right to let someone else accept it with their agree. But once that agreement went broken due to you guys tearing the family bonds, I really doubt crown's status as "yours by right". Are there any others grounds of ownership?

His actual eye colour makes me catch different vibes and suggestions. Now even too adorable to be the lord of death. xd

Narinder: Once you become the Crown's owner — it is yours. You can't just "disconnect" yourself from it, not unless you die. So it doesn't matter who thinks what at this point.

Hear me out, what if, instead of JUST Narinder, another bishop decided to betray their siblings to fight along side him?

I'll let you decide who it is.

It’s funny how both of these are almost the same XD

This is a little hard for me to fully realize as, depending on which siblings it is, the au would turn out very different from each other.

So I’ll throw out my general thoughts for each sibling.

Leshy I can see siding with Narinder very easily. He is close with and looks up to his brother, while also very naive and trusting. Because I see Narinder’s betrayal and eventually downfall as his own undoing rather than all the bishops turning on him, I can see him manipulating his younger brother onto his side. Leshy at the time of the betrayal is very malleable and moldable, feed him a certain story and he’d believe it.

I think once actual harm as been done to his other siblings does he start to think maybe Narinder is in the wrong but because he’s younger and Narinder has a tight grasp over Leshy, the young god still chooses to follow after him. After all, by been an accomplice to the betrayal, the other bishops wouldn’t want him back, right?

Shamura is another one I can see siding with Narinder, but that is mostly because Shamura loves Narinder and wants to help him in any way they can. Due to their prophetic abilities, they have been plagued by visions of Narinder turning in the rest of the bishops and hurting the family they worked hard to cultivate, so going along with Narinder schemes in hopes to maybe convincing him otherwise would have the best idea in their mind.

I don’t think it would have worked out well for any of them in the end.

Kallamar was not a coward before the betrayal, but he was and is weak-willed. He is bendable, as well as breakable. He probably overheard whatever Narinder was planning and and freaked out.

Kallamar, as Narinder’s elder brother (in my imagining), tried to steer Narinder off that path to no avail. Narinder could probably threaten him to a continued silence and roped him his plans whether or not Kallamar truly wanted to participate. By the time the betrayal happened, Kallamar is well informed but too afraid to warn the others. When he finally had the courage to do so, it had been far, far too late.

Heket is a tricky one because I can’t see her and Narinder really have that stable of a relationship to really warrant her siding with Narinder. But what if…

Okay, idea. Heket and Narinder team up willingly in hopes to take over the old faith? Heket has anger issues and Narinder’s growing bitterness could have them work together towards a common goal, even if they convince themselves they are only out for themselves. Even if the betrayal goes awry, it could be a bonding experience for the two.

I’m thinking the phrase “misery loves company” when it comes to this.

Anyways, those are my thoughts. If anyone else has thoughts I’d love to read them! As it stands though, I’m going to sleep✌️

Hmm now onto the more silly questions! How well do you think the lamb or nar will do in a massive rave! One hosted every hundred years where gods devils and mortals come together to have the biggest celebration in history! And they both just got an invitation to it? ( with a plus four invite if nar wants to bring his sibs )

OH SHIT thats a funny question indeed LOL hmm les see: Lamb would likely be indifferent about meeting many other deities like "just another normal day for godly me", and maybe be able to enjoy themselves eventually as the gathering goes Then they have one cup of alcohol and go stupid LMAO doing silly stuff here and there while partying hard til they pass out

Narinder would probs be the guy at the corner of the room deadpan with his cup in hands and wanting to go home, while just watching Lamb from afar so he can keep em out of trouble or bring them back home if they pass out- Hed drink too tho, but I like to imagine he has a high tolerance so hes not drunk with a few many cups

IF THE OTHER BISHOPS WERE INVITED THO: Leshy would probs stay with Narinder unwillingly, he doesnt strike me as a gathering person either at least xD Alternatively, he'd definitely pull pranks on the others like the chaotic lord he is and just sit on the corner to watch with Nari, who might as well crack a few smiles once seeing what his brother caused LMAO

Heket would likely be eating a lot, perhaps interacting with a few deities here and there I imagine her playing arm wrestling depending on the setting too 🤔

Kallamar is definitely the show-off type of guy, he would wear fancy and be the most sociable of the siblings I feel, bragging about his looks and riches

Shamura would likely be the "proper" type, just respectfully having conversations with their peers, answering a few questions to those who are interested, but also keeping an eye (or eyes) on all of their siblings And the Lamb. Especially the Lamb I feel I like the thought of Shamura sorta encouraging and sorta caring for Lamb's actions, so i.e. if they see them downing a whole bottle of an alcoholic drink, Shamura would first watch and then tellem to not do it again LMAO

The afterparty of that would probs look like Narinder carrying the Lamb on his shoulder or back, who's very much drunk and sleepy, while Shamura Leshy Kallamar and Heket chat about the events of the party and even acknowledge some of Lamb's doings, either finding them entertaining or getting ashamed for being responsible for such gremlin xD

Theory rant idea thingy incoming:

The One Who Wait is really really interesting to me.

When he was first sealed, Narinder injured each of his siblings irreparably—we know this; Shamura got scalped, Heket had her throat torn, Leahy blinded and Kallamar with ripped ears. Each of them wear bandages oozing black goop which is implied to be their blood. But what about Narinder? Surely he didn't go down without a fight?

There's no way he wasn't injured too when he was sealed away—the skeletal arms and the red down the front of his robes are telling to that; well, maybe the red on his robes is a stretch, but i think it is blood. Consider the final battle against him, one of the most memorable things he does is split his face Into four and make a very good impression of an elite from halo (I'm hilarious aren't I, split-face, split-jaw, get it? Lmfao) and y'know what? The inside of his skin is red—and it makes me think maybe Narinder doesn't bleed like his siblings are.

Maybe his blood's red, unlike the black ooze his siblings have coating their wounds.

I'm not too sure what injury could cause it though; blood down his front. Perhaps a neck wound we can't see, or maybe it's a stain from when the rest of his body hidden by the cloak turned skeletal, too—I'm just theorizing.

I also think that his legs were chopped off so he couldn't escape.

Dark, I know, but think about it. When we visit him during our crusade we only ever see the upper half of his body; he never tries to stand up. He never moves around too much, and the smoke/dust rolling across tbe ground obscures everything else. Extrapolating from Aym and Ball and where the stand, estimating their height, there's no way that TOWW is standing. He could be kneeling, at best, but I think he just—doesn't have legs.

Last point before I shut up: look at his boss fight sprite—it has no legs.

He's floating, the bottom of his robes are frayed and torn, as if something had jaggedly cut through the material with a dull blade, or even a talon/claw. This is probably just a design choice by the creators but I have a headcannon and I ain't changing it xD

In the baby bishop's teenager years, whom are in the range of "Emotional Drama Actor", "Edgy Emo," "Never Changed," and "Growing Up Too Fast,"

I know that everyone will think these titles are too specific, but I wish to know what kind of teenagers the four would grow up to. From somebody Lamb and Nari would be proud of to somebody they think would be a nightmare and horror of the nights to come. (*cough* Emo Leshy *cough*)

Oh trust me Leshy will definitely be an Emo Edgy teenager.

Shamura is the one who never changed. PTSD of almost nearly getting killed and killing someone and all the pain made him grow up fast and become an adult that stayed the same.

One Of Those TM AUs where Narinder doesn't betray his siblings, but instead becomes a shut-in who exclusively tends to the souls in the afterlife and whenever he has the time, to his (pretty self-sustaining) cult.

Because there is no prophecy about taking him out of imprisonment or whatever, sheep aren't extinct. But Lamb and their family worshipped Narinder, and because devotion reaches Narinder faster through the dead, sacrifices are mostly between his own followers. Hence, dead Lamb, after being chosen to be the sacrifice. Their head wasn't cut but rather, their heart was taken out.

And because Narinder has hardly any time to tend to his cult with all these people dying all the time, he chooses Lamb to be his apprentice and allows them to lead his cult while he isn't there. The Bishops had introduced this apprentice system not too long ago, most specifically after the strife with Narinder, in hopes to have time to spend time with eachother. Ironically enough Narinder hadn't chosen an apprentice up to that point, so it was mostly pointless on that part.

These apprentices get circlets made by their respective Bishop with which they share a small portion of their power, and lead the cult on their God's stead whenever they don't have the time to.

A (mostly) happy AU that I came up with at about 2am and got really fond of. But it has no name and I already have a 'Disciple' AU so uhhh...help me naming??? sdkjaslghh,,,

Shamura would probably be a teenager at this point. They're still the oldest and wisest of the group. Inquisitive, but still a far cry from the god they would later become (or, on a more angst note, the Lamb sees the potential that the young bishop possesses, and knows how they will have their skull shattered later in life)

Kallamar would probably be the last young bishop the Lamb meets. He's anxious and shy and needs his siblings to coax him out of hiding. But this is still Kallamar after all, so when he finally comes face to face with the Lamb, he leans over to his siblings and says "why is it so ugly?"

I usually hc Shamura as a young adult when Kallamar is born, but! Having them be a teenager is fun too ^-^ they're honestly over the moon about the lamb's arrival: they were an only child and so, so lonely for so many long centuries, maybe even millenia. Kallamar is like half their age at this point, and Shamura was so overjoyed to have even a single sibling, let alone 4! And now there's another one?! Frabjuous day!

They're all over the lamb when Leshy drags them in, instantly fawning over them, extra pair of hands already hard at work spinning them a silk robe that matches everyone else's. Maybe even a perfect mirror of Narinder's, as it seems the god of death now has a new twin!

Narinder is veeery sour about it, doesn't like anyone encroaching on his territory. He's so pouty and angy XD declares that this new sibling can be the god of ghosts or god of the underworld punishment or something, but he's not sharing his title!

Kallamar probably skulks around for several days, just... watching. Always hiding behind Shamura and peering out with squinting, suspicious eyes, and has a tendency to reflexively camoflauge himself if the lamb so much as glances at him. He's very shy and faint of heart, so no amount of gentle encouragement from Shamura can make him approach the newcomer before he's ready 🤭

But when he finally does, and those are the first words out of his mouth? He immediately turns bright red because damn it, he didn't mean to say that! He always manages to blurt things out accidentally when he's nervous, and probably flees to the bottom of the ocean to hide in shame, poor guy XD lamb is just really confused

hello hi ^_^ hi another pokepasta liker hiii ^_^ anyways, for the first i got juice ^.^

i got recommended from an friend to check out 177.76, (you know who you are) and i got two new beloveds from it ^_^ i’ll admit i haven’t finished 177.76 since i have an bad attention span, and reading too much words hurts my brain ^^; anyways! with me being human, and juice being an literal satellite, we are perfect for each-other since we same the same chaotic energy and say a-lot of out-of-pocket shit. ^_^ we find ways to talk to each-other through technology, i would show juice some cool stuff i found and what games i play, and he would show me some random shitposts he found on the internet. and juice always refrains from making jokes that are considered hurtful with me since he knows i’m sensitive and all. unless i give him permission to, if i did then we would jokingly make fun of each-other for an hour straight XD

for the second one i got narinder ^.^

narinder was an strange fella for me, attraction-wise. like when i started playing cotl, i started out hating him with every organ i had, but at the end, he grew on me and i was in love with him! >_< i get that he is easily marry-able in the game, but i feel like he would be very distrusting towards others, and would be all bark and no bite since his crown was stolen and he became an little guy. but eventually, somehow i grew on him, and he started to warm up around me, and he became more tolerant of me :3 he likes to admit he isn’t in love and get all tsundere, but when i give him a little kissie, he always get a bit flustered. ^_^ again, it’s another opposites/grumpy and sunshine situation with me and him. but like, if i was around him, i would make him feel a little better about getting usurped by an lamb ^.^
