Off Script (Au Concept)

So, everyone knows how there are transmigration stories? Of how the MC will take over the body of the villainess, a side character, or even the original MC? Well, I want to take that concept and stomp all over it.

So, here's the concept--

Imagine the world as a Dating Sim, Otome, Novel, Webtoon, Etc, point being it has romance or a harem ending. But instead of one person transmigrating, multiple people do, and because of that it throws everything off script.

Some of them want to get with the leads because they think it's their right, some just really liked the characters, some are trying to save themselves, etc.

But because of this, the male leads, or the Twst Cast in this case, don't take any interest in the original heroine, or any of the other transmigrated people. At all.

Instead they fall for this one person that is basically just a raccoon that they found rummaging through the trash (not an actual raccoon, they just give off the same vibes) and this person isn't even a transmigrated character, they're just a side character that either A) wasn't even mentioned in the original, or B) they were only mentioned in a one-off sentence and had no impact on the plot.

So now all the transmigrated people are trying to figure out why the boys are all acting off script and not going along with the story, why other characters they thought they knew are acting out of character, and why the boys are pursuing what is essentially that one raccoon rummaging through the trash.

And meanwhile the MC is just oblivious to all the chaos that is happening around them and doesn't even care.

Hear me out, what if, instead of JUST Narinder, another bishop decided to betray their siblings to fight along side him?

I'll let you decide who it is.

It’s funny how both of these are almost the same XD

This is a little hard for me to fully realize as, depending on which siblings it is, the au would turn out very different from each other.

So I’ll throw out my general thoughts for each sibling.

Leshy I can see siding with Narinder very easily. He is close with and looks up to his brother, while also very naive and trusting. Because I see Narinder’s betrayal and eventually downfall as his own undoing rather than all the bishops turning on him, I can see him manipulating his younger brother onto his side. Leshy at the time of the betrayal is very malleable and moldable, feed him a certain story and he’d believe it.

I think once actual harm as been done to his other siblings does he start to think maybe Narinder is in the wrong but because he’s younger and Narinder has a tight grasp over Leshy, the young god still chooses to follow after him. After all, by been an accomplice to the betrayal, the other bishops wouldn’t want him back, right?

Shamura is another one I can see siding with Narinder, but that is mostly because Shamura loves Narinder and wants to help him in any way they can. Due to their prophetic abilities, they have been plagued by visions of Narinder turning in the rest of the bishops and hurting the family they worked hard to cultivate, so going along with Narinder schemes in hopes to maybe convincing him otherwise would have the best idea in their mind.

I don’t think it would have worked out well for any of them in the end.

Kallamar was not a coward before the betrayal, but he was and is weak-willed. He is bendable, as well as breakable. He probably overheard whatever Narinder was planning and and freaked out.

Kallamar, as Narinder’s elder brother (in my imagining), tried to steer Narinder off that path to no avail. Narinder could probably threaten him to a continued silence and roped him his plans whether or not Kallamar truly wanted to participate. By the time the betrayal happened, Kallamar is well informed but too afraid to warn the others. When he finally had the courage to do so, it had been far, far too late.

Heket is a tricky one because I can’t see her and Narinder really have that stable of a relationship to really warrant her siding with Narinder. But what if…

Okay, idea. Heket and Narinder team up willingly in hopes to take over the old faith? Heket has anger issues and Narinder’s growing bitterness could have them work together towards a common goal, even if they convince themselves they are only out for themselves. Even if the betrayal goes awry, it could be a bonding experience for the two.

I’m thinking the phrase “misery loves company” when it comes to this.

Anyways, those are my thoughts. If anyone else has thoughts I’d love to read them! As it stands though, I’m going to sleep✌️

i wish every medicine cat (im going to refer to them as healers from now on) had a different experience with starclan. this is apart of my own rewrite so the characterization will be off.

like leafpool’s experience is serene and enlightening. when she wakes from the moonpool and prophetic dreams she feels energized. as if her communication with starclan is some transfer of energy. she’s motivated and typically unable to sleep after half-moon meetings. but i’d like to think that once she falls pregnant with the three this starts to decline. starclan communes with her only because thunderclan will have no other outlet. their anger and disappointment is prevalent, so leafpool finds herself feeling empty and ashamed after their meetings.

jayfeather’s communication with starclan is direct and he’s able to manifest himself there very easily. but it’s exhausting for him. he’s almost tempted to spend the night at the moonpool because he is so drained from the experience. this factors into his foul mood as well lol he’s just really tired especially since they won’t leave him alone.

yellowfang’s is similar to leafpool’s. when she initially switches roles, her conversations with starclan are curt and all business. she respects her ancestors deeply, though. but when she breaks the code, they begin to almost torment her. she’s only given prophecies when something horrible is about to happen, and these visions leave her feeling sick and paranoid. she puts her heart into healing her clan despite this.

ok ok last one! i always like the idea that cinderpelt has a pretty weak connection with starclan. she’s an excellent and passionate healer. but her destiny was altered in an unexpected way. starclan really only communes only with her after yellowfang’s death and before leafpool’s apprenticeship. once Leafpaw establishes a connection with them, all contact with cinderpelt ceases to exist. cinderpelt is always eager to talk to her ancestors but often feels disappointed by their dismissive behavior towards her.

Au Concepts (Package)

So, none of these are fleshed out to the point me writing a whole thing for them, so I figured I'd put them all here.

But if anyone is interested any these comments for the Twst boys, feel free to send me a request and I'll get back to it when I can.

Romantic Killer AU - This is based off of the anime. The MC basically gets deprived of their main joys in life, and to get them back they basically have to participate in a real life Otome game, orchestrated by some fairy. Only the fairy isn't a fairy, and is instead Grimm (Grimm obviously never becomes a love interest in this AU, I think most people -- myself included -- see him as a son.)

The Hilariously Incompetent Antagonist AU - Where all of the boys are heroes and the MC is a villain. Only, the MC is so bad at their job, that the boys don't even have to do anything and eventually they just become endeared to the MC instead.

Conspiracy Theory AU - So, basically, there's aliens. Or some other weird creature. The boys are sure that this alien exist and enlist the MC's help in proving it, while the entire time the MC is the alien.

Screw The Rich AU - This would flip for each character. So there isn't one MC, and instead each boy has a different MC. Basically either the MC or the boys go "screw the rich" and the other replies with "yes please". An AU with heavy simping, and someone that will one-hundred precent take advantage of that simping.

Henchmen AU - There also isn't any one MC in this AU. Rather, each boy gets a different one. Basically, in this AU, the MC is just a massive simp, working as a henchmen under the boys. To the point where the MC has unofficially become the boys emotional support human and cheerleader.

The Hero Complex AU - The boys are once again the heroes, only, they have next to no morals. The MC is a small time villain that's terrified of the boys while the boys are endlessly endeared to the MC. But because of the lack of morals, while they'll let the MC go, they'll also try and manipulate them.

Heathers AU - You know how in the Heathers Musical, everyone is just obsessed with the heathers? Yeah, well in this AU, the MC is the heathers. The boys could be some nameless face in the crowd, or the could be JD but instead of JD becoming obsessed with the equivalent of Veronica in this world, he becomes obsessed with Heather.

Recently it occurred to me to portray Sunshine, Oscar and Gothetta in my interpretation; in general, it was an old idea, that is, an old desire to draw them in one's own way, but hands have reached this point only now.

This is a new school of vampires. A school inspired by the aesthetics of grunge and the 70s; a school of vampires with beautiful long ears; I really wanted to make Gothetta a charming goth girl with a slightly angular, thin figure, and Sunshine is larger than her, because she is generally a person, I think she would be so cute and ruddy ... And Oscar, his hairstyle is retro, but it's not a plaque or anything/I don't know, ah, I like it, and to be honest, I would like to do a full restart?!!
