The names of the tribes of nowadays Euskal Herria in Roman times.
According to Julius Caesar, the Aquitanii weren’t Gauls, but a different people; they’re believed to be relatives of the Vasconi, and academic discussion goes on about the Celtic or Vasconic origin of Autrigones, Caristii and Vardulii.

Stone Age humans had unexpectedly advanced medical knowledge, new discovery suggests - CNN
"[T]he amputation reveals considerable surgical skill and is the earliest example in the archeological record, shaking up our understanding of sophistication of Stone Age humans.
"It's significant because it considerably pushes back our species' knowledge about surgery and complex medicine..."

That's what literature is. It's the people who went before us, tapping out messages from the past, from beyond the grave, trying to tell us about life and death! Listen to them!

More people need to understand that while ancient wisdom certainly exists, so does ancient wishful thinking.
Which is one reason why ancient prophecies and whatnot shouldn't all be taken so seriously.

Rituals orchestrated around megalithic stones struck into the Earth, created frequencies we cannot see with our eyes. The earliest beacons of Humanity reach to the stars, First Contact. Or was it just renewed from an even earlier time?

Once Upon a Solar Eclipse
Ancient beliefs about solar eclipses and the coming of science.
A total solar eclipse is coming on Monday, April 8 this year. Most of us know something about why they occur and hopefully how to safely view them. Ancient people held various beliefs and interpretations regarding solar eclipses, which often depended on the cultural and religious context of their society. Not surprisingly, many ancient cultures interpreted solar eclipses as signs or omens from…

Newly discovered 10,500-year-old civilization shows rare glimpse at prehistoric survival
https://amp.miamiherald.com/news/nation-world/world/article271377217.html
This Prehistoric site is about 250 miles north of London, near Scarborough — dates back to the Mesolithic, or “Middle Stone Age” period, the university said.
Before the invention of pottery and metal. Were wood, stone, and rock were used for tools 🔥
At the time it was inhabited, the settlement was on the shore of an island of a lake. Since then, the lake has been filled with peat deposits, burying but preserving the remains at the site.
Found there were tifacts, including bones of animals that were hunted, handmade tools and weapons and traces of woodworking — a rare find

do you ever think about how the chamsa and evil eye are both ancient symbols that represented dead gods some of whom we don't even really know myths about anymore yet the symbols themselves have survived and remain incredibly cultural significant in many different cultures

The Whitehawk Woman
Tumblr media
Hi there, I’m the Whitehawk Woman! I was somewhere between 19-25 when I died in what is now Whitehawk, East Sussex. I wasn’t born there though, isotopes from my teeth can tell that I came from somewhere much closer to the modern day Welsh border, meaning I traveled a fair amount in my short life! I was buried surrounded by 10 large chalk blocks, along side two smaller pieces of chalk (maybe pendants or charms), two sea urchin fossils, and the remains of my baby. I was in good health when I died so unfortunately it was probably childbirth that killed me, but don’t be too sad. Great care was taken in my burial so I had lots of people around me who loved my baby and I very much💗
