Avior always wanted to do a book swap with his Starlight.

It was so simple, and yet his heart did a flip at the thought of Starlight picking out a book for him to read. They would spend the time picking out the one they thought he'd enjoy most, reading over each description and thinking of him. Putting so much care, effort and love into the act. Avior would do the same.

They would meet up after they'd both paid, Starlight giddy with excitement. Avior would try to peak in the bag, only to get lightly smacked away.

"It's a surprise!" They said, "You can't peak!"

"I'm not even going to get a hint?" Avior teased.

"Absolutely not!"

"Not even if I give you a kiss?"

"You can try, but I can't promise anything," Starlight said, giggling to themselves when he leaned in.

They spent the evening curled up together on the couch, in front of the fire that crackled softly. Avior found himself getting lost in the feeling of his Starlight leaning against him, their warmth seeping into his side.

Avior felt calm. Safe, even. Years after the Dante knock off hell, he believed he finally found... peace. Love. Hope for a better future. A future with his Starlight.

A future where they live a quiet life, not in any pain or misery. One where they can be happy. Together.
