Rowena & Crowley back the wrong horse, over and over and over...

Everyone remembers Rowena's tragic clinging to Lucifer in season 11, and how it ended up for her. Upon learning she's the only one that can put him back in the cage, Lucifer pragmatically snaps her neck--a form of cold, indifferent insurance:

Ah, the tragedy of Rowena's desire to have security. Rowena wanted to be loved and protected by Fergus's father. She wanted to be appreciated and protected by Lucifer.

Crowley remarks that she's always looking for the biggest, baddest beast in the room to hide behind.

In 11x23 Alpha and Omega, we see Rowena cozying up to her newest target, Chuck:

ROWENA: [Crowley mocks her as she speaks] Charles, I'll put the kettle on. My mom always said, there's nothing a nice wee cup of tea can't fix.

...

CROWLEY: It's what she does. Find someone with power...cozies up...digs the claws in. [As he’s talking, Crowley walks over to a cabinet, opens a door and takes out a bottle of Craig] CHUCK: Hmm. Yeah, well, I'm not helping anyone right now, obviously. She's been...nice. CROWLEY: For now.

Funny sidenote: As Rowena moves in on Chuck, getting sweet on him, she starts calling him "Charles," a little nugget for how she'll later call Sam "Samuel," and Cas, "Hello, Castiel."

Ahem. Anyway. The thing is, that yes, Rowena totally does this. We can't really blame her when we look at the tragic happenstances of her life. During the course of the series, we see her make numerous moves to gain favor will powerful beings:

SEASON 10

We see her volleying to make Crowley sit upon a stronger, more secure throne.

SEASON 11

We see her cozying up to Lucifer and getting killed for her trouble.

Next, we see her coming back from the dead to move in on Amara.

She's kind of playing both sides, but she gets sweet on Amara here: "Oh, I can be useful...And even if it is born out of my own self-interest, I-- I care about you. I'm someone you can talk with. Confide in. Have you... have you ever had that? Oh, you don't have to be (alone), darlin'!"

Then, as I mentioned above, she cozies up to Chuck, and Crowley snarls many a nasty word about her.

SEASON 12

We find Rowena trying to date rich men and lying about her background, painting herself as a posh, well-to-do ballerina.

In an abrupt about-face to insulting Cas (she called him a fish in season 10), we see that Rowena has flipped on her appraisal of him.

Now, Castiel is super hot. He's "the handsome, strong angel," an ideal partner/protector. So, she hits on him. A lot.

Despite her memory of "Cas's face" as Lucifer snapped her neck, her dogged attraction to Cas blooms sometime in season 12.

Perhaps, it's when she and Cas and Fergus are hunting Lucifer together.

(In the same time frame, Crowley is also hanging off Cas's arm, keeping him company, trying to be oddly "cutesy," singing in the car, etc. It's...hilarious. You get the mental picture of them both trying their hardest to get his attention.)

SEASON 13

Season 13 brings us her library tryst with Gabriel.

She says she's motivated by trying to heal his wounded virility/grace/pride, but it's at least partially about his status as an archangel.

And of course, there's security in Sam(uel), but it's all twisted up with him being her executioner, not just her protector.

But in being her "destiny," he also functions as her security. It's very complex. (And kinda sexy.)

SEASON 14

Rowena will hit on Cas as later as season 14's Ouroboros, saying his full name in a similar coo to how she says, "Charles and Samuel." -> "Hello, Castiel."

Castiel, for his part, tends to be a little flustered by her, straightening up and saying, "Hello," back.

SEASON 15

Finally, in season 15, somewhat hilariously, Rowena moves in on Arthur Ketch.

But it's a little different this time, reflecting a more confident, in-control, and emotionally integrated Rowena.

She seems to be genuinely interested in him for his wry, science-loving personality. They banter.

She and Ketch mutually harass Dean for details about the other, like schoolyard crushes.

They had a battle connection in the past, have fought together and helped one another re: resurrection spells, but it is only now that they’re healthy and healed that they can actually see each other.

Rowena throws Dean a breathless, thankful look when he saves Ketch (for her).

She’s reformed, Ketch is reformed. It’s heartbreaking just how excited she is about him. He instills a her hope in her, for the future. (But he won’t sell out his friends. He dies. She won’t let the world die, so she dies, too.)

But Crowley does the same friggin' thing, doesn't he? He is so her child, a tragic mini-Rowena, despite his efforts to look like a big, bad Hell-king. 💔

SEASON 5

When we meet him, we see him backing the Winchesters re:the Colt.

In his early appearance, he does this because he thinks Lucifer is going to wipe out demon-kind.

That gamble goes okay for Crowley, mostly.

SEASON 6

Sometime in this timeframe, he is given the role of Hell-king as a consolation prize, by Ramiel, prince of Hell, who honestly doesn't give a fuck.

In season 6, Crowley backs Castiel. Cas's got magnetism and sex appeal.

As the original "angel's angel" in Heaven, he's a strong frontrunner in Heaven's Civil War simply by popularity alone. So, Cas is the horse Crowley decides to bet on.

Then, Cas turns out to be duplicitous, cunning, and too devoted to his human family to be controlled. He’s way more than Crowley can handle.

There are glimmers of this power imbalance, when Cas on occasion has had enough of Crowley's innuendo-laden threats, like when Cas snaps and crushes him into a wall, for example. But on the whole, Crowley ignores this. It's his tragic hubris.

Eventually, Cas overwhelms him and seizes power, and the whole thing turns out to be a frightening blow to his position.

So, Crowley goes running to his brother Raphael, which is another bad gamble, as Castiel straight-up kills him, and Crowley is forced to flee and go into hiding.

SEASON 7-8

In seasons 7-8, Crowley vies for control of the prophet Kevin, torturing and killing those around him.

He makes sure to kill Meg, who is in his mind a Lucifer loyalist (she's actually a Castiel loyalist at this point, but the Lucifer label sticks).

SEASON 9

In season 9, Crowley arranges a series of events to allow him to dangle Dean to Cain in a bid to transform Dean and destroy Abbadon, the newest threat to his position.

(Crowley won't suggest taking the mark on his own; he won't risk his own neck.) Afterwards, he scoops Dean up, like spoils of war, a dark parallel to the pimp-demon in Girls, Girls, Girls (and Randy).

SEASON 10

In season 10, this bites him in the ass, too.

Demon Dean proves too much to handle, a liability on the job, as he refuses to perform the cold, capitalistic mercenary duties of Hell.

"The little prat’s bad for business. He’s uncontrollable. Must be the Mark."

In a scene similar to Cas crunching Crowley into a wall, Dean throws Crowley down. Demon Dean will not be cowed by Crowley, and he will not be a sidekick, little bitch, or Queen to be "controlled."

So, Crowley goes running to his brother, Sam. He “sells him out" to Sam.

And Crowley goes running to revive Castiel again, to deal with the problem-that-solved-his-original-Abbadon-problem.

And around and around Crowley goes.

Despite everything, Crowley softens to Dean. Crowley's a little bit human now, and it shows. As he softens, his mother appears, making things so much more complicated.

SEASON 11

Crowley tries to muster up the glory of his former evil self--he kills a bunch of swingers for no reason.

Then, Crowley sees a new opportunity to sway a powerful being, and we get Crowley unsuccessfully trying to mold Amara as his newest weapon of mass destruction.

Like with Demon Dean, he strikes fast to scoop her up when she's “vulnerable” and "new,” to get her under his sphere of influence.

Then, it goes badly, as this always does for Crowley. Amara breaks Uncle Crowley's arm and runs away.

In this season, Crowley goes to bat for Cas again, trying to detach him from Lucifer and screeching angrily at Cas as Lucifer beats Crowley up.

In fact, in that brief moment before Crowley even goes to bat, he's actually smiling at Dean and Cas as they reunite, as Dean says, “Cas, we don't have a whole lot of time, okay?"

Crowley is a softie. Cas is his kinda-friend, and Crowley wants Dean to be happy. Crowley's changed.

At the end of the season, we briefly see Crowley complaining about Rowena cozying up to Chuck, while he moves to cozy up to Billie. (Really, Crowley? Stop doing the thing that gets you burned, man.)

SEASON 12

Enter season 12, and Crowley works with his mom again. He and Rowena form an uneasy alliance, and both begin to see family in a slightly new light.

They trust each other a little more, and they hurt each other to try and solve their mutual pain re: Oskar and Gavin.

Hilariously, they both start seeing Castiel in a new light this season. It's like, in watching his devotion and chivalry to his family, and as their understanding of family shifts, they've mutually decided that he's dependable and thus desireable. (The "blue-collar, family-oriented soldier.")

So yeah, season 12 finds Crowley cozying up to Castiel again in order to fight Lucfier--with Crowley being overly friendly and flirty and sing-song to the point that Cas just might bash his own head in.

(In this same timeframe, Rowena warms to Cas, so you have this implication that they're both hanging off his arms adoringly, and he is tired as fuck of dealing with them. I'm sure Cas's tendency to get a little flustered and sweet with Rowena is something that would drive Crowley insane on multiple levels.)

Crowley even risks his life for Cas against Vince!Lucifer. (He wants Cas to be his friend so badly in this era, oof.)

Then, he saves Cas against Ramiel, thanks in large part to his bond with Dean, and Dean thanks him for it.

Crowley, like Rowena, will take any form love. Any friendship. Any comradery. Even scraps. They've got the same neurosis.

Anyway, in season 12 we also have the team-up of the century, where Crowley works with his mother to send Lucifer back to the cage. Victory!

And Crowley has another fatal misstep. His last one ever, perhaps. He thinks, yet again, that he can outsmart another overpowered beast in order to buy his own security.

And so, he locks Lucifer in Nick's body, Ma'lak box-like, and tries to out-bark and out-dominate him.

Horribly, Lucifer doesn't even appear that upset. Horribly, even when he's being humiliated, the demons under Crowley flock to Lucifer. (It's not fair!)

Lucifer even seems quietly amused, like he's waiting for his moment to strike, just as Cas behaved in season 6, quietly tolerating Crowley's goading because he was not actually threatened by him.

(Crowley is no Azazel or Dagon or Ramiel or even Asmodeus.)

And it's fatal. It goes badly. Crowley's gleeful crowing of brains-versus-brawn blows up in his face.

He escapes by the skin of his teeth, and goes running, tail tucked, to tell the Winchesters what he's wrought.

Sam and Dean are horrified, realizing that Jack, Kelly, and Cas are in danger, and so they speed towards them in hopes of warning them in time.

Crowley seems a little hysterical and fatalistic, deciding to back the Winchesters one last time, because, "life is meaningless," and "what's the point of it all."

Crowley lost everything for a job he hated, so he commits suicide, because he's tired and worn down.

He has become like Raphael, "we just want it to be over."

Crowley falls to nihilism.

And Rowena despairs. 💔💔💔

hi! i just finished distraction in the hunters universe and just started arcove’s bright side - i’m super enjoying them so far! i did have a bit of a question when it comes to the worldbuilding if that’s all right to ask? do the creasia have a taboo against incest, or does it not matter after a certain point of relation? i’m curious if only because carmine and wisteria are both related through arcove (arcove being his son and wisteria his granddaughter) and attention is drawn to that in the narrative, in terms of how much they both look like and take after arcove. is this sort of thing generally accepted in creasia society, or is it given a pass since they’re both higher-ranking? i’m not asking to be a weird freak or anything, it just kind of hit me as a “oh right that’s a little odd” when i realized fully, haha. genuinely just curious - but also feel 100% free to delete this if that’s not something you’d want to discuss on your tumblr blog, i get that it’s kind of A Bummer by nature. again, super genuinely enjoying the books, i really love your prose and how the world feels so deeply lived in and real and how textured every character is, even the minor ones. wisteria is also an absolute icon with her two boyfriends, god bless her lmao

I'll answer your question, but I've done so in even more detail here - https://shop.abigailhilton.com/b/1HLeF (it's a free download) These are essays I wrote while researching lions for Distraction and Bright Side. I examine the potential for inbreeding depression, not just in creasia, but also in ferryshaft and other species on Lidian. I talk about the (highly bisexual) biology of real lions, the ways in which I modeled creasia on them, and the ways in which I made creasia different. In answer to your question, real lions have no inbreeding taboo. Ruling males don't usually hold a pride long enough to mate with their adult daughters. Teenaged males have a strong instinct to roam once they hit puberty. They travel far from their natal prides and seek to take over a distant pride. Females stay with their natal pride. That's how real lions avoid inbreeding. If young males are prevented from roaming (by habitat fragmentation), they may end up taking over a pride with relatives and will mate with them. I have given my creasia some degree of incest taboo, partially because I think it's too difficult for humans to relate to them otherwise and partially because I think it's a useful trait to have evolved, what with their limited range and food supply. They have an incest taboo that applies to siblings and parents, possibly great-grand parents. Those would be the most generically dangerous pairings. However, their are many other types of relatedness that humans recognize that creasia do not. In addition, creasia generations run into each other in ways that could not happen in human beings. Human women enter menopause right about the time that their daughters hit puberty. In creasia, mothers and daughters will have babies at the same time, perhaps for decades. Creasia are teenagers capable of reproduction at 4, young adults at 6, and fully adult by 8-10. Historically, most alpha males have died in fights by their 20's or 30's, while females and unambitious clutter males have sometimes lived into their 60's. This allows plenty of time for generations to run into each other. Now they're living even longer because they're becoming less violent. In this milieu, you would see generational pairings that would seem strange and impossible to human beings. Carmine is Wisteria's half uncle on her father's side and her great-half uncle on his mother's side. It really is a pretty twisty family tree. FYI, Wisteria has 2 kings in her ancestry. Ketch was Caraca's father. Creasia would not regard this as a close familial relationship or any form of incest. Indeed, it's unlikely to cause their cubs any problems. Arcove has been a very successful male creasia, which means his genes are going to be dominant in the population for quite a while. Halvery even more so (lol). In real lions, nearly all the females will contribute genetically to the population, but not so the males. A tiny percentage of the most successful males will sire all the cubs. So you have this same effect. Any deleterious genes lurking in those successful males could have outsized effects on the population, unfortunately. But real lions seems to weather this just fine.

Wild Magic and the Witch's Alpha

Here's my May entry for the Year of the OTP prompt challenge!

Dean, the village witch, apothecary, and healer, is beset by admirers looking to claim the too-independent Omega, but he has no interest in them. Abaddon is cruel, Ketch is a prig, and Cole... There is something definitely wrong with him.

In general, he doesn't trust Alphas much at all, save for a few exceptions.

Castiel is relatively new to the village, only moved there to care for his uncle Frank, an aging man with far too many flights of fancy. Castiel is too busy to socialise, but when he comes across an Alpha trying to attack an Omega outside his uncle's door, he intervenes without a second thought.

With the offending Alpha down and an unconscious Omega in his arms, Castiel is left wondering at his uncle's words about wild magic and a witch.

A talking cat is something else entirely.

Dean stood at his workbench, ignoring the cramping of his gut that foretold his heat would arrive in the next few days, and carefully measured the ingredients for a poultice for the town’s baker. Her wrists bothered her in damp weather, and he knew there would be a storm arriving the next day. It was only self-interest. If he didn’t have the poultice ready, Donna wouldn’t be able to make her specialty the day after. Her assistant, a young Beta named Alex, was skilled, but Donna’s sticky buns were a special treat on market days. He ground the herbs he needed to a fine powder in his stone mortar and pestle, then dropped in a few grains of drakestone.

As he ground in the drakestone – fossilised dragon's blood – a premonition hit him. He scooped up his mortar with one hand and the tiny, precious jar of drakestone with the other, cursing roundly as his workbench shifted, listing at a drunken angle against the shop wall. Even as he focused his will to support the table magically, at least until he could clear the precious contents from its surface, he heard his shop's bell ring, announcing a customer.

His attention wavered, and his pestle rolled off the ancient table and hit his foot, pulling another string of profanity from his lips. He clutched at the two items he held, determined not to lose either the poultice or his precious supply of drakestone. It wasn’t exactly a renewable resource, so was ruinously expensive. He turned carefully, setting the jar on his shelf, and closed the cupboard door, then set the mortar on the windowsill. The windows were closed tight, so he wouldn’t lose the powder to an errant breeze, and a few minutes in the sun would only strengthen the warming properties that he was hoping to encourage.

Since it was his assistant Kevin's day off so his mother wouldn't come after Dean – she was one frightening Beta – Dean limped through the doorway, the beaded curtain rattling as he moved it aside. He had to control his expression immediately. His visitor was someone he did not want to see: one of his many suitors. The trouble was he had doubts any of them were sincere in their flowery language.

12x14 I assume that I have already written about this back in the day, but I think it’s worth noting again how Dean and Sam deal with Mary’s “betrayal” as an unit and how they deal with it as individuals. Sam and Dean are of course upset that she lied to them (though I’m kind of confused what Mary’s “I’m sorry you had to find out like this” was supposed to mean. She volunteered the information after all.) but their objection to her working with the BMOL are mostly “WE have history, WE don’t trust them”. Which means that they expect Mary to align with their sense of morals, instead of allowing her to make her own choices.

Also, Dean is on Sam’s case because he’s not “picking a side”, neither when Dean’s showing Mary the cold shoulder, nor when Dean was showing Cas the cold shoulder. Why would Sam have to pick a side (and I’m sure Dean means “be on my side, feel the same thing I feel, be an extension of my emotions”)? Stupid commentary from Mr. Winchester about Sam dealing with Mary’s betrayal the way that works for him.

You know... at the end of the day, the Winchesters are all the same X3 Sometimes I think Sam’s the only sane one, but then I think about the chaos he gets up to, so nah.

So, Mary tells Sam that the reason she is working with the BMOL is to create a world where Sam doesn’t have to hunt. When Sam tells her that he CHOSE to hunt, she doesn’t even seem to listen. She reaffirms that a world without monsters will undo Sam’s choice. I just... Why does everyone tell Sam that Sam wants to get out of the life? Sam doesn’t want out of the life, he has chosen hunting again and again! Just let that guy hunt :/ (Looking at you, finale.)

I guess this episode seems to be about people telling other people who they are supposed to be... And, what maybe annoys me, the characters fitting themselves into those ideas. Why are we having Dean reduced to being angry, needing to control Sam, needing to punch something, needing a drink, getting home from getting a drink to need more drinks, allowing in Ketch because he brings drinks, listening to Ketch telling him that he’s a killer, going out to work a case with Ketch because there are vamps to kill (I thought we don’t work with the BMOL, Dean?), taking on a nest of 10 vampires with a guy you don’t know or trust (why? what point are you proving?)

Also... EH? Sam says he wants in, because the BMOL are changing the world and the alpha Vampire is dead. I don’t know if maybe Sam missed the episode, but it was Sam who killed him... Sure, they located and had Mary steal the Colt but apart from that...? Hmpf.

This is just a weird episode... (As the whole BMOL plot tends to be, partially also because it leaves no more nuance that the show has established - now all monsters are bad again, now all monsters must be killed. It’s just a matter of how - Dean, to show that he’s a good guy, stopped Ketch from beating up the vampire girl, offering a quick death instead. The Winchester’s moral compass allows and approves of torture and suffering, but when others do it it’s usually suspect.)

Anyway, I’m sure you could dig a bit and find some redeeming things about this whole arc but I’ve not really enjoyed the second half of this season all that much.

Okay season 12. IS. SO. GOOD!! Aaron Bass cameo! BIG ALPHA VAMP CAMEO?? WELCOME BACK, MY FAVORITE DADDY MONSTER!!! (aww he died bye alpha daddy) An overwhelming amount of Dean's mommy issues!? twice as much Cas compared to s10/11? the utterly grey morality of the Brits, especially Ketch? Sam being the best Sam and least inconsistently written in years, so much so that I LIKE him? I'm loving this. 12x14 "The Raid" is soooo good (if one ignores the rampant amount of 'red shirt' deaths poor sad Mick)

Summary: Dean Winchester lives in Lawrence, Kansas, with his Nest. It’s both a peaceful and harsh life, but he is not sure he’d want to change it. One day, his father tells him they must go to Lebanon, Kansas, to meet another vampire Nest - a famous and strangely big one. John tells him he’s been talking with their Alpha for months, because it’s the Nest his father came from, and he wants to be part of it even though Henry Winchester left him when he was still young. The agreement is for Dean, John’s oldest son, to marry the other Alpha’s son, Arthur Ketch. Vampires mate for life, and there would be no way for Dean to get out of it - not without jeopardizing the relationship between the two Nests and dooming theirs. Despite Dean and Arthur disliking each other since the very first time they meet, they must learn to trust and be loyal to each other, no matter how rocky their path is.

Notes: Hello, hello everyone! I come with a new, shiny, long story :) I had started writing it for the @spnproshipbang, but I had to, unfortunately, drop out due to having way too frigging much on my plate. I hope to participate in the next round, if there is one. Since I had the 1st chapter ready and I'm working on the second, and I have notes for the next few chapters, I decided to start publishing the story as I write it (as I usually do). As you will see, for each chapter (or most) I wrote and will write a beginning poem. The poem is written from Arthur's POV, as he's a poet in this story. As you may also see from the tags, Arthur and Dean (as well as the rest of the characters) are vampires. I will take a lot of the lore from SPN, but I will also add my own lore, which you will eventually see. Both Art and Dean are also Jewish, because, why the fuck not? :) And Dean is Trans. I wanted to explore a lot of things with this story, and I put a lot of my favorite tropes and topics in it. Hopefully, you'll like it too.

Excerpt:

Dean observed as his father played with an old, modified Colt, one of the many trinkets they had kept from their human victims. That one had belonged to one of those stupid, reckless people who often entered their home, certain they could kill the monsters living in it. They hadn’t had one of those in a while. John Winchester touched the weapon with expert hands, tracing the intricate decorations, and sighed at it, as if it had personally offended him. For all I know, it has… They had been sitting at the dinner table in what had once been the living room of the human house they had picked as their Nest for at least half an hour. His father had still not uttered a single word. Dean knew better than to break the silence, even though it was driving him insane. He tore away his eyes from his father and looked around the room instead, tapping his fingers on the table. The blinds made so that no light came from the windows, and no one could see inside. Both things were crucial for them – the light of the sun could be extremely dangerous, and humans would kill them if they found out what they truly were. Why won’t he talk? He wondered, staring at the wall behind his father, stacked with other weapons. What did I do wrong? There was no other reason for John to ask him to talk alone if not Dean fucking something up, which he seemed to do often, lately. His leg bounced up and down as he thought about what it could be. I was careful with feeding, he mused. And I haven’t mentioned Sam in months. His little brother was a taboo subject, ever since he had left the Nest after a huge fight with their father because he wanted to go live with the humans. That had not gone well for Dean or Adam, their youngest brother.

davina through the series || season 12

not knowing that dean is still alive , davina comes back to the bunker after sam is shot and kidnapped by the BMOL. she waited until dean arrived , only to see that amara had brought mary winchester back from the dead. the two were introduced.

after castiel located where toni bevell had taken sam , davina tagged along to help rescue him. however, when they got to the old abandoned house , davina was forced to stay outside with castiel and mary due to it being also warded from witches. at least until mick davies powered down all the wardings.

when castiel warns sam and dean that lucifer had sired a nephilim , davina helps them in confronting kelly kline about the child. however, she quickly escapes with castiel and kelly kline when the president's secret service captures sam and dean . castiel though, teleports davina back to the bunker so she's safe .

for six weeks , while the brothers remained in solitary confinement in colorado , davina stayed at the bunker with castiel until they met up with mick davies and arthur ketch. even after that whole situation , mick davies approached her with an offer to work with them. davina declined , stating that she doesn't work for and with those she doesn't trust.

the job involving ramiel , one of the princes of hell turned that around . during the fight , davina was knocked unconscious by ramiel to only be woken up in the back of dean's car . the winchesters filled her in on what happened . it dawned on davina that maybe , just maybe she could use the spells that mick had offered her.

davina went with sam and mary to the BMOL station to talk to mick about his offer, as well as see what their operations were really like. though , still not trusting them at all , davina lowered her guard a bit and listened to their plans on taking out every supernatural creature in the united states. with the vampires starting to attack the BMOL compound , davina helped sam and mick make more bullets for the colt to take down the alpha.

after the death of mick davies , with ketch being in charge and ordered to kill all hunters , including the winchesters , davina was on that list . she was not long captured by ketch right after dean and sam left for a case that mick supposedly had sent them via email. when it was ketch who sent it.

it turned out to be all a trap so that ketch and his men could raid the bunker. and bug it. davina was brought to the BMOL compound and locked in a room until it was time for dr hess and the rest of the BMOL to head back to london.

before davina was to be taken there and killed , sam and a bunch of other hunters came and took down the compound. it was jody mills who freed davina from the room they held her in and the witch couldn't thank her enough.

when they found out where castiel and kelly were , davina went with mary and the boys to where they were staying. however , once they got there , davina was drawn to the energy coming from the rift that led to the apocalypse world .

when they angel and the boys went inside the rift, davina followed them , where she met that world's bobby singer. lucifer's arrival to the cabin was no surprise as they all knew he would eventually catch up. davina however , remained inside with mary and kelly , who was in labor after they left apocalypse world through the rift.

when jack was born , davina was knocked out along side of mary winchester . however, by the time she wakes up , jack is nowhere to be found and sam and dean are knocked out in his nursery.
