Isn't it funny how in spn 12x12 "Stuck in the middle with you" Cas says "the thing we shared..." with eyes switching between all of them and then completes with "they changed me" with eyes stuck on Dean and Mary looks at Dean and Dean looks down like do you have something to tell me love? No mum absolutely nothing to hide

And then Cas says "I love you" and the camera goes on Dean and then he adds "I love all of you" like why should you add that hm?

And also Dean's reactions are pretty different because while Mary is worried and surely feeling guilty and Sam is worried Dean looks disraught

But then we are crazy

"Stuck in the Middle with You" is another fave episode of mine (although I'm not sure how I feel about Crowley becoming King of Hell that way, it felt like it was a bit of a useless retcon but I'm not 100% sure, anyway not the point).

One thing, however, that I personally wanna know it's if Wally (poor baby boy RIP, I really liked you it's a shame you lasted less than 1 ep) knew that Cas is an angel. I mean, he didn't really hunt demons, seemed pretty shook by the whole Lucifer's kid thing (who wouldn't lol) so I think it's safe to assume he didn't know or he would freak out a bit.

But! We also know that hunters talk about the Winchesters (who wouldn't lol take 2) and the community seemed to know quite a lot about them sooo.. it's safe to say that people know that they're friends witn an actual Angel, right? I mean, do all the other hunters know about Castiel?

So all this to say is that we were robbed of an episode from the hunters POV, an episode where people gossiped about the Winchesters and wondered what was up with the Angel. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

Thinking about that time in “Regarding Dean” where he goes to say “Castiel” but ends up saying “Cas” because just… ow? Because in the grand scheme of things — in the litany of Sam Winchester is by brother and Mary Winchester is my mother — it’s already significant that Cas is there whatsoever, especially being open called Dean’s “best friend.” Because Cas hasn’t been Castiel in years. Because Dean’s forgetting everything, slowly but surely, and Castiel is so far away from Cas — his Cas, his best friend — that he can’t even remember the full name.

Finally continuing my rewatch because my vacation begins and im in s12 thinking hard how would it be if destiel was together as couple but because mary is back they would be lowkey playing ‘just friends’ because dean wouldnt want to shock their mom since she barely came back learning angels exist was shocking enough and her son dating real angel? That could go bad dean thinks but thats only because he knows what would his father say so he is afraid to say the truth (she would know tho they werent so lowkey) but still it would take weeks maybe months for them to admit it

I wonder i wonder, is there a fic like this already? Or do i write it down to my notes to write it myself because i want to write mary better then how they did in the show
