the has no solution and quite frankly this isn’t being written down to find one, i just wanted to be like “isn’t this upsetting??” anyway. i had this issue with my ex at the time that bothered me so much

i couldn’t hug him— hug him— without him getting hard because my boobs would touch him.

a few thoughts on this:

a) he lives/lived with an allboys family. mom is gone, dad takes care of all seven boys. grandpa lived with them. after 20 years, it must be rather interesting to get hugged by someone who has boobs. someone you’re interested in.

b) it made me very uncomfortable and did not help the body dysphoria. i love love love hugs, but i couldn’t get one from my own boyfriend because i would end up with a boner pressing into my hip, because my chest existed. it was miserable. every time without fail.

c) i would tell him “hey, you getting hard while we’re hugging doesn’t feel good; i don’t like that you’re sexualizing my chest that much. i just wish i could hug you without this turning into a thing where i hate my body afterwards, just for existing.”

d) he would reply “the fact that you’re upset that i’m getting hard on accident is also making me hate my body afterwards for just existing.”

e) we would stop hugging.

f) or side hug.

g) me, someone who is a very physical person, suffers.

h) him, i’m sure, also suffered.

i) no reasonable solution.

anyway i’m glad i don’t have to deal with this anymore, but man…. it kind of ruined my psyche about my appearance.

omori DLC spoilers

I’m really in love with what the few fear polaroids add to the hikikomori route... it is my favorite route as it is (and I would even recommend it as a good ‘first route’, since it preserves the mystery so beautifully) .... but they add a nice extra touch... the blurring of Sunny & Omori, how they phase fluidly between the two, the tank top and the vest are one silhouette on the body.... seeing the monstrous Sunny from the mirror again has me ECSTATIC, I adore him, Sunny’s warped self-image as this blood smeared dripping horrifying ghoul.... and then the polaroids depict this ghoul SOBBING, Sunny has always hated to look at himself, in mirrors or photos, and now looking at himself, he finds this glaring back at him, inescapable.... he can’t shake it off... I just love it. It’s a perfect representation....! crying ghoul boy..... I like to get to see a boy who is neither purely Sunny nor Omori, an entity between the two, oscillating in the immediate aftermath between intense emotions and a lack of any emotions....

I always find people struggle with narratives containing multitudes, and as it is its so easy for people to see Omori as some kind of ‘evil’ (....and not just Sunny’s suicidal urge to self-destruct and hold himself accountable/punished in honor of Mari)..... I dunno, I hope even 1 person can see the fear polaroids and the transition between the two states, for what it is.... a boy who cannot sustain, who imminently splits, and one of them takes on the name of Mari’s piano, her lonely instrument... of... COURSE that ‘part’ must be isolated, with no memories, of course the fracture desperate enough to take on such a name is going to kill the one ‘responsible’ for harming her (even though it was an attachment and love of Mari that created the intensity that sparked the incident!!!)

arghgh.

Harbor turns 2! I followed my nephew around for a bit recently to document a day in the life of Harbor at 2 years old.
