The inside of my car has been cleaned for the first time this summer. My mom and I cleaned it together. It was very dirty from helping out friends. It feels bad to see how dirty the car had gotten. Donutsprinkles, puddles of beer from cleaning after a wedding, fries, chocolate stains, endless of strands of hairs. Now it looks, like my mom said, bigger. It feels pure but still used for silly adventures. August of this year, I have had Gullet (my car) for 5 years! I can never return to not having a car. The car is my ticket to the horizons. It is my escape route if I need it. It is my medicine and my singing cabinet. It is where secrets are shared and endless of gasping headturns. It is also where I can ground myself and transform myself. Transformers are real. I am merging with the car every time I get in. The car merges with me. We are happy to be one. Humancar hybridization. Now we are clean and ready for a southern adventure.
