Last Series: "Love. Death. Robots." Yea, it's been a long time since that one was released. I don't really consume much "new" stuff. It seems I like my hobbies slightly stale.

Tea or Coffee: Tea. As of late stopped drinking coffee, switching to tea and occasional energy drinks (yes, this is one more self-insert part of Vayne's character).

My urge to write an angsty fic about the mess of Loba x Bangalore x Valkyrie is..................strong. The Hannibal reference in the last snippet made me think about how as much as I want Vox and Alastor to bicker, they would probably both enjoy similar movies. Vivzie has mentioned that Alastor loves cinema and theatre, and Vox is giving filmbro mansplainer so I can totally see them being like “Ah yes, Citizen Kane.. they don’t make them like this anymore” Like they go hand in hand at some psychological drama and they don’t stop yapping and overanalysing in the salon during the entire thing, annoying everyone around them. And since you’re the one who planted that brainworm into my head I wanna hear your thoughts 👁️

Ahaha, I love that thought! I think the two of them would probably have viewpoints that generally agree with each other, but would be willing to take a stand on the smallest of hills while treating them as deep, fundamental differences in opinion. It's the kind of frustration that comes from liking the same thing, seeing the other person almost get it, but be just wrong enough that you need to correct them on their stupidity. It would honestly be less frustrating if they had bigger disagreements, but also, they snipe at each other as a hobby, so.

That said, I don't think Alastor would be rude enough to chatter over a show in public like that! It seems like the sort of thing he'd see as uncouth. Vox, on the other hand...

I also think that Vox's taste in cinema is probably more inclusive of modern cinema than Alastor's. I genuinely see him enjoying mindless action flicks and just having a great deal of appreciation for modern cinematography techniques, CGI, etc, that Alastor would find cheap and lacking in heart. If he told Alastor that Mad Max: Fury Road was all practical effects, he'd be much more likely to agree to watch it, but I still don't think he'd enjoy it very much.

I feel like their tastes would overlap just enough that Vox would end up desperately trying to win Alastor over to the types of movies that Alastor would think are middling at best, and Alastor would enjoy disappointing Vox over and over again until he figured out where Alastor's tastes actually lie, because Alastor certainly isn't going to be the one to clue him in when this way is so much more fun.

I suddenly thought up an idea that I’d love to be true 👁️

Because what if Li Tianxi is actually constantly possessing Li Tianchen’s body as well as having her own in an attempt to save him?

So when what we think is Li Tianchen delivered the photo with the message to “save my good gege” to Lu Guang, it was actually still Li Tianxi and it was another attempt to save her brother…

I admit this theory is partly born out of my love for family—and sibling—drama/trauma in writing (which my best friend actually called me out on years back regarding my OCs asjakfl), but…

I keep feeling like Li Tianchen probably came close to death that night—after all, she wants to save him, based on the message on the photo. 🤔

Also we do know she can possess multiple people…!

As for everything else, yes we still don’t know a lot of things about them but!! I’d love it if this theory was true ahaha.

PS: I agree with everyone now that I’ve seen it; the ending to episode 7 was very gay. 😆

I couldn’t help joking it was Bilibili’s way of confirming that Lu Guang was the top SLFNSKDJKSSH.

Episode 8 trailer has been out on Bilibili’s YouTube for a while, and from it I get the impression Qian Jin and Li Tianxi want Cheng Xiaoshi’s powers to save their respective loved ones (their wife and brother respectively).

Although…the ep 8 trailer also has Cheng Xiaoshi say a “he” (implying Li Tianchen and not Li Tianxi) can definitely possess people, so…who knows how they’ll throw us for a loop again. 😂

I just like the idea of Li Tianxi going a little off-kilter to try and save her brother—a “you protected me; now it’s my turn to protect you” kind of story. 👀🙏

But if it was actually Li Tianchen giving Lu Guang the photo to save his sister or something else entirely (they share a body? Li Tianchen’s the one who’s off-kilter?), that could still be interesting!

Director Li Haolin has always been an unpredictable storyteller, so I’m not going to try and theorize too hard. Although I also do love the Lu Guang being from a different timeline and trying his damndest to save Cheng Xiaoshi—to the point of that’s why he’s so cynical about time travel and has these rules and seems experienced and also has an unknown age—theory… But that’s another topic for another day.

Thank you @windydrawallday for once again being such an inspirational and supportive friend!! 😭 So— we were talking about monster taming games— AND THE ABSOLUTE SWEETHEART THAT THEY ARE SAID “I bet you would make some really cool monster designs for a game like that. 👁️👁️✨”

And and and AND— My brain went BRRRRING and here we are. A little creature taming story??? Game??? Called Calming Curses, where you the protag. goes around finding and befriending/soothing mischevious sometimes venegeful spirits who are possessing various kinds of antiquities. The only thoughts I have for the player characters would be that the feminine character would be inspired by Wednesday Addams, their would be a masculine character, (dress unknown) and a non-binary character would be dressed in dark pants, a button up shirt and a sweater vest. (Though pronouns would be interchaneable with any of the designs because!! I luff me some options!!) Guessing that the characters are magick sorcerer types. (Becuase this is me— everyone needs a lil magic)

This first design is for critters I have deemed Implit 👁️👁️

+ Implit are little candle imp critters that are known to steal things like car keys, lost earrings and whatever shiny things they can get their droopy hands on. Little sprite tricksters that if treated well and with compassion will help you find missing objects and will light your way through dark nights.

If left in an their angry begrudging state, these little fire starters can be a huge problem! Knawing on— and thoroughly crispi-fing whatever they are left to angrily chew on 🥺

I wanted to make multiple colors n designs for the lil guys, and also I wanted to make a “happy n friendly” colorant and a still feral n causing trouble one :3c

I thought once they are befriended the creatures would undergo a color change. 👁️👁️ Kinda like a shiny, except more in the sense of you can tell which bbies you have spent the most time with, who is your go to partner in crime because of how they look compared to the standard design.

Annnnnnd continuing the cursed object parade!! The teapot is Gettle and the little tea cup spirits are Cuphost. One in a defensive, shy form and the other is in an offensive, bravado form!

Part of the same set these creatures are kitchen dwellers who manifest from antique ware💖And they work well together as a team to chase out intruders.

+ Gettle is a grumpy creature, whose boiling temperature has people running from the small quadrupedal being. Like an angry grumpy dog that can cause some nasty burns if it manages to run into you. x////D They are protective of the smaller spirits, as they have been together for a very long time. But it’s very rare to find a whole manifested set.

When calmed and no longer bearing a grudge their original faded colors come back shiny and new. If Gettle is treated well can be a beloved lapdog who keeps their hosts warm on chilly days.

+ Cuphost are timid, taking to hiding in tea cups and defending themselves with silverware. The few braver and mischevious ones are known to throw things like sugar cubes at unsuspecting visitors. Sometimes using the spoon like a catapault or baseball bat to get better range.

They are soft natured though can hold grudges at the loss of their fellow cups. They are easily broken, fragile beings and need someone with a soft heart and compassionate to gain their trust.

Cuphost’s original colors also come back when they are fully befriended, and make very good and sentimental beings to tell your troubles to when you’re sad, great listeners who will warm your hands when you are feeling blue.

I feel like Ghost is the protective older brother type but not over bearing about it but you know  he cares.
