i wanted to see what a piece would look like if i finished it in my three main mediums, pencil, ink, and watercolor (+colored pencils) >:*)

SO. i did these in the order theyre presented #which means that the pencil was done first #and by the time i got to the watercolor id drawn this same picture quite a few times #so if the quality seems to improve thats more than likely a matter of repetition and the benefit of past foresight or whatever #like yamatos shin is too small in the first picture.#and i noticeably lengthened it in following pictures. i also shortened kakashis thigh a little bit #yamatos torso looks really long but thats partially because he's slid back a little bit—his flack jacket is up high and you can see #it gapping at his shoulder #but ultimately that doesnt make the anatomical weirdness completely forgiveable so if i drew this again id do it differently probably #THAT SAID IM STILL SOOOO HAPPY WITH HOW THESE TURNED OUT #drawing the same picture over and over and over again? kind of great actually. i recommend it.#if you want to try doing this and you dont have a lightbox (u dont rlly need one) just like. take one drawing you like #and a blank sheet of paper #and tape it to a window thats getting a LOT of light #and then trace ur old drawing's bare bones (the forms. u know)#and then once you have that down. draw on top of it. or use new materials #it allows you to preserve ur previous drawing also which is great #once i was doing a commission and i realized i got the room i was drawing the characters in backwards #so i just. turned the paper around. put it against the morning window. and traced the now-mirrored image onto a new sheet of paper.#saved SO MUCH TIME LMFAO #the paper on the last picture is different and more yellow in tone so thats why the color is weird there ajxjskhfjahx #anyway happy testostone tuesday to all who celebrate 💚 love you

#I’m reading volumes 14-16 of the ouran manga OOUGHHH MY HEART #I love this weird little friend group so much its unreal #like u have this charming sweeps you off your feet prince but he’s actually a huge lovable idiot with a kind heart and his friends #who are all misfits that he reached out to and drew in because of his kindness and own weirdness like that shits TIGHT BRO #and the trauma part where he has some deep seated issues with love bc he thinks that itll break a family apart like with his mom #how his family isnt allowed to be together because his mom and dad fell in love and how he says he wants to build a big house #so that way one day everyone will get along as a family like. all he wants is not to lose everyone and the only way to do that is #by maintaining a certain order.. he both wants a complete family so bad and doesnt want anything to sour between anyone #so he assigns each of his friends a family role based on how he sees them and YEAH its mostly played for giggles and tamakis #already weird so its his way of showing theyre close to him but. god damn this boy has LAYERS #it also feels kinda meta towards how found family tends to get thrown around to assign characters as 'siblings' or family roles instead of #using it to describe characters who are close enough to be each others family. cuz tamakis doing that EXACT THING in a way tht #ties in with his character and i have to say its fascinating using that within the story itself and its completely plausible #theres a lot of things i can say about ouran that are good bad and questionable but. god i love it when characters are niceys to each other #i remember i really liked the mall episode bc kyoya and haruhi got to spend time together and their relationship isnt very close #but it was really nice to see their personalities bounce off each other. i think i also wouldve liked to see haruhi alone with kaoru #i also firmly believe all of the hosts are at least a little in love with haruhi and this can be anything like endearing romantic cuz like #who DOESNT love haruhi. kyoya i think would want to study her under a microscope like his fascination with her draws him in #but im fucking obsessed with whatever haruhi and tamaki have going on because YES hes obsessed with her YES he jumps at the chance to #put her in a cute costume but haruhi? she just fucking goes with it because she knows hes fun to be around even if hes a little wacky abt i #theyre all so. How people are interpreting Alastor's final verse on Twitter: OMG, he's terrified that he's going soft! He's questioning his loyalties! The deal he's talking about is the one he made with Charlie, and he wants to break that because he doesn't wanna get attached to her! He's secretly becoming a better person! OMG!

Meanwhile, the way I interpret it: The deal he's talking about is the one Husk mentioned in episode 5, being on "a leash". Someone is restraining him, possibly has his soul, and he HATES being reminded of it. He wants freedom, because he DESPISES being bound to someone else, is looking for a way to out, and the second he does, he'll be "pulling the strings" again. He's either only helping the hotel because of this deal, OR it's limiting his power somehow, and that's why him almost dying made him "hungry for freedom" more than ever. He's not going soft, he's still got his own agenda.

she is afraid of disappointing her friends or peers, and being negatively judged or abandoned. she's quite frightened of being alone, which is actually fairly normal for a waddle dee. her biggest fear, however-- though she has never said this to anyone-- is that she is terrified of something happening and causing her to forget everything again. she doesn't know what she lost, but she knows she'd do anything not to lose what she has now. also, lightning storms.

💜 (Purple Heart) - If they were corrupted by the Jamba Heart, which negative traits of theirs would be amplified?

anxiety and shockingly, i think dishonesty. she's a very very open book + heart on her sleeve kind of girl, but she keeps an amount close to the chest if you don't ask her about it. if you ever imply something about her is Bad, expect her to take every effort to never ever ever show it to you or anyone again. ultimately i think this would result in paranoid, incredibly hedgy behaviours under jamba heart corruption. if she had a mirror version, i think similar traits would be amplified.
