Mr Evershed x daughter!reader - some days
Tumblr media
Hiii darling!! Is it possible to request a Martin Evershed x Daughter!reader in which the reader really struggles with Anxiety/social anxiety? If not if your uncomfortable writing this that's absolutely fine! Thank you for taking your time to read this askk - big love you ❤️ - Anon 💜
Generally your dad dropped you off at school when he was leaving. It didn’t make much sense for you to go earlier since he was heading there anyways.
But there were days when he would find you had already left for school, and he knew they were bad days.
The days when your anxiety was so bad you wanted to walk and clear your head, try to calm yourself down before you had to head to lessons.
He was expecting you to turn up, but when he got an email saying you hadn’t made it into your first lesson he began to worry and pulled out his phone to message you.
Mr Evershed knew texting was easier for you, especially on a bad day, and he would never call you unless it was an emergency or you hadn’t replied within so long.
So went he messaged you he set his unlocked phone down on the table and waited for your reply.
You looked at the message from your dad.
Dad: are you in the school?
You debated lying to him, but you had a good relationship with him and you didn’t want to ruin it.
Sighing, you replied to him.
You: no, I’m not. I’m not feeling well I’m going back home.
You weren’t lying, because after sitting in the cool morning air, you didn’t want to be outside anymore and were walking back to the house.
You were around the corner when your phone chimed again.
Dad: is everything alright?
You: I’m just not feeling well.
Your dad sighed as he read your message.
He wanted to go home and check on you, but he couldn’t just leave work, so he decided to message you every now and then.
You texted him when you were home, so he knew if you weren’t responding to him now you had gone to your quiet corner.
And that’s where he found you when he got in.
Sitting in your quiet corner, soft music playing through the room as you sat in the corner of the room surrounded by blankets and some papers.
Walking over, he sat down next to you, covering his legs with a blanket.
“Do you want to talk about it?” He asked quietly.
You shook your head.
“Is it just a bad day?”
You paused for a second before you nodded.
Mr Evershed nodded back at you.
“Do you want me to make your favourite hot chocolate?”
You nodded again and he smiled.
Getting up, he went and made two hot chocolate’s and brought them in, sitting down with his, he set yours next to you.
He knew when your anxiety was bad you found it hard to communicate. Closed questions you could respond with a nod or a shake of your head were easier, but sometimes you struggled with them as well.
And he understood that. He respected that.
Sometimes it wasn’t easy to go outside, sometimes it wasn’t easy to do every day things, and sometimes you struggled with the worries of everything washing over you.
So he would sit there with you for as long as you needed just so you were reassured that you weren’t alone.
You rested your head on his arm, and he looked at you.
“You’re alright, come here…”
He gently hugged you, and you hugged him back tightly, trying to hide yourself away.
“You’re okay..”
Some days you didn’t want to be around anybody, including him.
And others, just like today, you needed your dad to hug you and remind you that everything was going to be okay

people talk abt shitty dads a lot but i feel like shitty mums don’t get enough coverage lmao esp within Muslim / desi communities everyone acts like mums are so amazing and soft and kind and loving etc they bring u fruit when ur working and put amla in ur hair etc but like ...... I know so many mums that just aren’t any of those things lmao, mums that go against that cute soft caring ideal, mums that are emotionally and verbally abusive. people act like mums can’t be these things bc they’re mums ? they gave birth to u , they breastfed you, raised you etc but the reality is some were pressured into marriages and childbearing and then take that pressure out on their children

Mr Evershed x teen!reader - our interests
Tumblr media
Prompt number 20 with mr Evershed x student reader? :) - Anon💜
20: “I can’t read, you know that right?” “You can read, stop lying and help.”
Sitting in the music room, you had your feet kicked up on the chair in front of you, guitar in your hands as you sat playing the tune you had been practicing for a while now.
You had been kicked out of your class, you were supposed to be in resolve, but you had no interest in going to do that.
After all, why would you? The music room was always unlocked first thing in the day anyways, so why not make use of the instruments other students weren’t?
Standing up you walked around your room, a little grin on your face as you emerged yourself into your own world.
The door was opened and you turned around, grinning even more.
“Morning sir.”
“Good morning (Y/N), you were supposed to report to resolve.”
You shrugged a little bit, setting the guitar against the wall.
“It’s a waste of time in there.”
“Then maybe we should reconsider swearing at our teachers.”
You grinned a little bit at him, sitting down on the chair again, kicking your feet up on the chair you had them up on to begin with.
Mr Evershed sighed, propping the door open and made his way over.
“Feet down, let’s go.”
“Nope.”
“This isn’t a debate (Y/N), half the language you used in that argument I can’t even repeat, I don’t even now what some of it means but the point still stands.”
You shrugged a little bit.
“It’s still pointless, you’re going to make me do work I already know how to do.”
“Unfortunately this isn’t up for debate (Y/N), please come with me to resolve.”
You just crossed your arms, looking at him.
You were challenging him, daring him to try and do something to get you to move.
“What if I can promise you that it doesn’t involve doing work you already know how to do?”
You sat up a little bit.
“Depends on what it is.”
“Well, I’ve got a presentation to go through, and since you enjoy being so honest with everybody I thought you could help.”
You grinned from ear to ear.
“I can’t read, you know that right?”
Mr Evershed chuckled a little bit, shaking his head at you as he picked up your bag, swinging it over his shoulder.
“You can read, stop lying and help.”
You laughed a little, getting up to follow him out of the music room.
“What’s it about? Is it a lot of reading because nobody likes that.”
“It’s about Shakespeare, and it’s not a lot of reading you’re just dramatic.”
“Sir you can’t say that it’s not nice.”
He opened the door for you, letting you walk in and sit at one of the tables.
Mr Evershed sat next to you, setting your bag on the ground and he pulled his laptop out of his own bag, setting it on the table so he could set everything up.
“I can, and since you missed the last lesson for English, you can read through the presentation, because this stuff will be on your exam.”
“Come on sir, I know this already.”
“I know, but just humour me please?”
You let out a groan of annoyance, and you titled the laptop towards you, scanning over the first slide.
“That’s wrong.”
“What is?”
“About the characters and symbolism and all that. It’s wrong.”
Mr Evershed smiled a little bit, gesturing to the laptop.
“Go on then, show me.”
You changed the slide, and then you moved to the next one, seeing that it was wrong as well.
You turned to the teacher.
“It’s all wrong isn’t it?”
He chuckled a little bit, setting some paperwork on the table as he began to go through it.
“I know you (Y/N), I know you don’t like to leave things unfinished, or leaving things done wrong when you know the right answer.”
“Touché.”
You took the laptop so you could carry on correcting the work, occasionally going into google so you could do some research.
You were invested in learning, maybe not so much the things you should be learning about, but you were fascinated by facts and history.
Mr Everhsed glanced up half and hour later, and he leant over.
“I don’t think the evolution of birds is going to help.”
“Well I was researching, then I saw something about Darwin, and I had a thought about if it was him who said something about finches and they’re birds and now we’re here.”
He chuckled a little bit.
“Okay, well you can tell me about the evolution of birds after your homework.”
“Ugh fine.”
“Thank you (Y/N).”
You went back to the presentation and paused.
“Homework?”
“Yes, homework. Did you really forget that it’s your own homework?”
“This is mine?”
“Well, not exactly. I know you got somebody else to do it for you. So, now you’re rewriting it.”
You turned to him.
“Lying in a sin.”
“Well, I guess both of us are in trouble then.”
You hummed, nodding your head in agreement before going back to fixing the homework you were supposed to have done last week.
Mr Evershed smiled, turning his attention back to his paperwork.
Not even ten minutes later you were back to researching something else completely unrelated and he pretended not to notice to give you a little more time to do something you enjoyed

Jamie Johnson Season 5 Episode 8 “Outside the Box” Not-a-Review Review
Spoilers ahead:
I know, I know, I don’t normally do reviews. Or I guess review type things. For the 1 episode I’ve been around for this blog. But this episode was just too good. I’ve been touting this episode as historic before I even saw it, and I’ve got to say: I was 100% on the money. I had huge expectations for the episode and they were still surpassed.
Let’s start with the obvious: today this show wasn’t “Jamie Johnson” This was “Dillon simmonds”. There were no side plots. Everything revolved around Dillon’s journey. I’m sure some people would have preferred more football, but I was ecstatic. Originally, I was worried, it would mean the last episode that focused on Dillon, but after that cliffhanger (yes, I’m calling it a cliffhanger, I know what Shaun duggan said, but that was definitely a cliffhanger. But if any CBBC producers are lurking, that definitely wasn’t a cliffhanger, pls don’t cancel Jamie johnson)
Jamie’s cameo was great too. Patrick said he did his research and you can tell. You could feel Dillon’s pain in that scene with Jamie. He really wanted to tell him, but he just wasn’t ready. And same with his scene with his dad. Struggling with whether or not to say, and in the end, it just comes out. (Pun intended)
And you can tell Patrick is so happy and proud to be part of such an important storyline. He doesn’t seem too active on social media, but he always makes the effort to post on his story for the important episodes like today. And like I mentioned earlier, he’s been subtly showing his support for a month now. And in the MOTDMag interview, he said this was his favourite episode, probably because he took centre stage. Nah, hes good people and he seems like a really good ally to LGBT people.
And speaking of awesome people, let’s not forget @jonnie-kimmins , aka boggy “the bogster” bogson: always there to roast homophobes in the Instagram comments section 👌
And of course, Shaun duggan, for writing such an amazing episode (I assume he wrote it, sorry if it’s someone else) and delving into serious topics (bad seague time)
I have never seen an episode of TV where someone who’s gay got kicked out of the house. You’ve got homophobic parents, yeah. Like with ackley bridge and the fosters. But the parents always seem to come round in time to not disown them. But Jamie Johnson, they went the extra mile. They destroyed Dillon. It was heartbreaking, but important. If they can show that even someone who was hurt as much as Dillon can get back up, that he can still succeed, then people can believe that they can. It gives hope.
You don’t get hope from seeing love Simon. Not really. Not if you live with homophobic parents. Simon’s too unrelateable, but Dillon is relatable. Hell, it even gave me hope. I had half a mind to come out to my brother before I remembered it was too soon for me to get kicked out of the house and I needed to have a plan first.
On Elliot: I don’t think he did the right thing telling ruby Dillon was gay. I also don’t necessarily think he did the... wrong thing? He knew that it was hurting Dillon to have ruby hate him. I can’t remember if he got the call from his mum before or after he told ruby, but I imagine he realised that if Elliot was gone, Dillon needed someone in his corner. It’s not right, but Elliot probably felt like he had no option.
And oh my god, the scene of delliot getting ready was adorable. It was obvious Dillon had a crush on Elliot, but I didn’t think it was mutual until then. And “call me when you’re ready”. You can tell what he meant. “Call me when you’re ready to date. It’s so sweet how they both kind of know they like each other, but are still too shy to say it. I love it.
Also, Dillon saying he’d probably beat up his crush. We all thought he was crushing on Jamie, but it turns out he was crushing on some random guys from series 1 episode 1 😛
Tumblr media
And onto Liam, the stupidest person in all of history. He wanted to hurt Dillon, yeah, but he didn’t expect their dad to actually hate Dillon, or to disown him. To him, it was just their usual competitiveness. Up to now, I don’t think he realised that his actions had real consequences. Yes, there was the homophobic incident with alba, but his dad blamed the club, not Liam, and most likely instilled in Liam that it wasn’t liam’s fault.
And remember that liam’s dad encourages them to play dirty. He lives in a bubble where he thinks can do whatever he wants.
And it’s only now he’s started to realise that he’s kind of not a very good person. It’s like he told Eric. You can tell that in his conversation with Eric. Liam thinks he himself is evil. So, let’s go through the characters who are going through some serious stuff right now:
1) Jamie, who’s currently really struggling due to the lack of football. He’s gotten addicted to fifa because he needs to be good at something
2) Boggy, who’s been pretty much a punching bag for Jamie. It’s extremely likely that he’s going to start struggling with how people treat him
3) Dillon. Does it need mentioning what stuff he’s going through?
4) Liam, who at the moment hates himself and thinks he’s evil
Ok, I’m really worried. I’ve heard people say before 13 reasons why season 4 that they don’t see how anyone’s gonna have a happy ending, and here, I’m really worried they’re just gonna torture all the characters. But I look forward to it.
Also, I’m really hoping that they bring back in the Hawkstone reputation arc, and Dillon comes out to jamie, and Jamie gets super pissed at Dillon’s dad and goes super saiyan and gets into a fight with him (maybe not the super saiyan part though). Jamie refuses to tell Hawkstone why, even though Dillon offers to come out for him, but Jamie won’t let him, and the end of the season sees Jamie without a club.
I don’t know whether this is a review or just me praising the episode. I guess if I had to give it a proper review, 10/10. I promise that’s probably got a lot of bias in it. I ain’t a reviewer. But this really was an amazing episode. I’m so proud of CBBC.

I’m mad today.
WARNING: If you didn’t watch Ackley Bridge stop reading right NOW and go and watch it. If you need help to find it ask me by private message and I’ll help you.
I can’t believe that a tv show could tear me apart like this, but it did.
Where could I start? My favorite character in this tv show is Sam Murgatroyd, and all I see is people going against her and saying shit about my girl. “She is a racist” they say, “she is the worst person in this tv show” they say, they make jokes saying that Sam would hurt a brown person because she feels like it...  and I wonder if they saw the same tv show as me.
So, this post's tea is how people is wrong by hating Sam for being racist in the fucking past.
Let’s start saying that yes, Sam Murgatroyd has “racist” as a personal characteristic but she has it in her PAST. So we can correct the afirmation “She is a racist” to “she was a racist”. She was born in a racist family and was tought to be racist all her life. She had cousins and a grandfather she admired because she loved them, and she wanted to be like them, including the racist part. But even in that situation, she never ever fought any brown person in the school for beeing brown.
She even falls in love with a brown person (Nas) I mean guys if you hate a niche of people YOU DON’T FUCKING FALL IN LOVE WITH A PERSON OF THAT NICHE. FOR GOD’S SAKE. Imagine that you hate racist people (which we agree we all do, I hope) would you fall in love with that person if she/he had a big banner saying “I’m racist” hanging on the neck??? No.
The only thing relating racism we see in the show is when she attends a racist demostration in town. Later, we see how Nasreen confronts her about it and she tries to deffend her position but she wavers a lot, like if she was defending something she doesn’t actually believe.
Later on the show, we start seeing how Sam scolds her grandfather everytime he says racist things. You can try and say that she does that because she wants to make a good impression to Nasreen, but we all know that Sam Murgatroyd isn’t a hypocrite. Sam Mugatroyd doesn’t do premeditated actions, she does what her heart tells her to do in the moment. For example, when Alya goes to visit Cory, Sam tells her grandpa to not say anything inappropriate to Alya, and Nasreen isn't even in the scene.
Another moment she has were a normal person can crearly see that Sam isn’t racist, is when Missy dies in the third season. Nasreen asks Sam to tell her cousins to hurt the person that involuntarily killed Missy. Sam knows in the moment that her cousins will hurt that person even more for beeing brown, so she doesn’t want to do it and it can be seen in her face. She gets really afflicted, but ends up accepting Nasreen’s petition even if she doesn’t want to.
Sam Murgatroyd is an ultra sensitive person who has a big BIG heart, and her redemption starts showing from the beginning. She loves faking rudeness to defend herself from others, but the truth is that she is ultra soft and fragile. If Sam Murgatroyd loves you, she will love you even after you break up with her; she will suffer but she won’t never ever bother you if you don’t want her near you, and she will continue defending you forever.
She is by far the best character on this show and I’m devastated cause I don’t know if I’m going to see her in season 4 or not, or if she is going to be happy without Nasreen. I don’t want her to suffer and I don’t want to stop seeing her in Ackley Bridge.

Ackley Bridge - Cory x Naveed
---------
So I was very disappointed with the Cory/Naveed ending (I really hope it's not the ending tbh... I'll be so mad if it is) in 2x06, so I wrote one of my own! (This didn't go how I wanted it to, but imma post anyway)
----------------
'What you doing, man?'
These words were floating round Cory's had and had been for hours. How could he have let that be his reaction. He felt so bad. For many reasons. One of them was that he let THAT be his reaction. The other was that he'd put his other best friend in hospital with a broken neck, and the worst thing about it was he wasn't even thinking about Riz. All he could think about was Naveed.
He'd known for a while he was bi, he was the only one who knew. Well that's a lie, he'd had a drunken conversation with Nas, cos he wanted to know why she didn't want him, when everyone else did.
---
It was quite late on a Saturday night when Cory went to Nas' house. She had just come out to Missy, so she was there too. He asked if they wanted to go on a walk (he knew they don't go anywhere without each other). They did and walked to a field. They drank and drank all the cider Cory and Missy had brought and Missy fell asleep.
"We'd better get her back, mind carrying her?" Nas said.
"No, but could we just lay down and look at the stars. They're so beautiful tonight" Cory replied.
"Sure" Nas agreed laying down next to him " as long as that doesn't lead to a shitty pick up line about me being beautiful" she laughed.
"You are, but it wasn't" Cory laughed too.
"I'm sorry about what happened by the way, I just, I don't know"
"It's fine, I just kinda wanted to know why you weren't into me, it's never happened to me before and kinda pushed me off my game then I -"
"You're going off track Cory, love."
"Oh, erm, why don't you fancy me Nas" he said, sitting up, cross legged facing her. She copied his position.
"Why? Do you fancy me?" She asked.
"No" he answered honestly.
"Then why does it matter?"
"I want to know" he half-lied, he did want to know, but there was more to it. Confidence.
"I don't know how you're going to react to this, or even why I'm telling you, but it actually isn't anything to do with you. I-I'm, I'm a lesbian."
"Oh. How long have you known?"
"Forever I guess"
They talked for ages and ages and came to sit next to each other. They joked and laughed (and made sure Missy was still alive a few times) and as the laughter of a particularly rude joke died off...
"Nas? Can I tell you something? I think you might be the only person who will understand."
"Yeah." She said.
"Well I like girls, everyone knows this, and girls liking me gives me so much confidence, but I kinda like boys too."
"Oh? So, what exactly are you saying, just so we're definitely on the same page"
"I'm bisexual" Cory said and sighed, smiled and cried.
"That's the first time I've ever said it out loud, the first time I've ever accepted it. The first time I haven't been disgusted by it." He said.
"I know what you mean, it's who you are!" They hugged and talked a while longer, then Missy came around and they walked home. Cory and Nas text each other all the time, but the friendship they have isn't public bacause neither of them are out and it was quite an odd pairing really.
--------
Cory laid on his bed, staring at the white of his bedroom ceiling, reliving the moment in his head. The support he felt, he knew in that moment he was happy. How the butterflies in his stomach couldn't keep their cool at the excitement of Naveed being so close to him. He basically initiated the kiss then backed away. Then the boy kissed him and it was amazing, he kissed back as the bright happiness took over his body, then they parted and the kiss lingered on his lips. No kiss has ever lingered before not with any girl, why, why did he have to fall straight in love with a boy? With Naveed? He got scared was the only explanation he could think of as to why? Why he'd said "what you doing, man?". Why he'd got so confused he couldn't concentrate. Why he'd got so angry he broke Riz's neck.
Why did he have to fall for Naveed?
----
Cory: (8.04pm) I've fucked up.
Cory: (8.05pm) Big time.
Cory: (8.06pm) HELP!!!
Nas: (8.07pm) I'm aware. Which bit are you talking about though? Riz or Naveed?
Cory: (8.08pm) Naveed.
Nas: (8.09pm) Well, I happen to know where he is!
Cory: (8.10pm) Where???
Nas: (8.10pm) How much does it mean to you?
Cory: (8.12pm) Everything.
Cory: (8.13pm) Please Nasreen.
Nas: (8:14pm) Okay, he's with me at...
------
She gave him the place and he didn't even care that it was quite far away. He got his shoes on and left without even saying goodbye.
Nas sat and listened to Naveed talk about Cory and how he liked him and how he'd messed everything up and now Cory hated him. She smiled because she knew he was wrong.
Cory arrived at the place and stood outside trying to think of what he was going to say. He noticed he wasn't the only one doing this, Missy was too.
"Hey, are you alright?" He asked.
"Yeah, I need to talk to Nas, but she seems preoccupied" she replied.
"Talk to her."
"What?"
"I mean, she's your best mate, if you two can't work out whatever this is, how am I supposed to believe I can work things out with Naveed."
"You've fallen out with Naveed?"
"Kind of, also if you don't go talk to Nas, she's gonna be listening to me and I'm not sure I want that" he laughed and they walked in together.
"I need to talk to you!" They both said, to get surprised looks from the pair.
They split off slightly and Missy started to talk as Cory stood, fidgeting, not really sure what to say.
"Look Nas, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do anything. I was getting your mum to stop an-"
"Yeah, yeah, you're already forgiven! I was really angry and honestly I'm sorry too." She interrupted.
"Friends again?" Missy asked.
"Of course! And as friends, our first course of action is...!" She said sitting both of them down and pointing at the boys, who still hadn't said a word to one another.
"What? Watch them? Isn't that slightly rude?" Missy asked.
"When've you ever cared about rude? Besides, we're gonna watch Cory make a speech!"
"So what? He makes speeches all the time!"
"A love confession speech" Nas whispered, throwing her arm around Missy.
"but- No! Really?!"
Nas nodded and smiled then they both watched in anticipation and awe.
They waited.
And waited.
And waited some more.
"Okay, what are you doing Cory? Cos you've not come here to embarrass me, or you wouldn't come alone, or take this long to talk. You come here to let me know you're mad at me? Cos I know. You hate me-"
"What? No! Not at all. Naveed that is so far from the truth."
"Then what Cory?"
"I-I'm sorry. For my reaction in the locker room. I don't know why I did that"
"Okay, you're all forgiven, goodbye" he said getting up to leave.
Cory grabbed him and pulled him back slightly Naveed stayed stood up, so Cory stood up too, but felt so awkward that he leant against a chair, causing it to move and him to nearly fall. (Making the girls giggle slightly)
"No Naveed, please stay. Let me finish, and get all the way through, then after if you want to leave that's fine, okay?" He asked and Naveed nodded.
"Okay, right, I've kinda had a mini crush on you for ages, ya know, talking about kissing always trying to flirt but I never really realised how deeply I fancy you until tonight. So after the game I felt so bad, so low. Lower than I've ever been before, and you know cos we've talked about that before, and obviously I assumed it was because of Riz. I went and saw him, and he's doing well and he forgave me and we talked but I still felt horrid. I couldn't figure out why then I realised that even before I saw Riz, I wasn't thinking about him. I wasn't thinking about Mr. Bell, or the scout, or me dad. I was thinking about you, and no matter what I did I couldn't stop. I hated myself for what happened. Not the kiss, the kiss was amazing, but my reaction to it. I got scared. At first I thought you'd done it to get back at me for something, maybe it was some of the girls, maybe Nas? Cos she's the only one who knows you see. I thought maybe I'd done something and she wanted to embarrass me. Cos I didn't know you're gay until after, but Nas did know I'm Bi. That thought sorta stayed with me until she told me where you guys were. But then I was still scared. I was scared that maybe you did like me, and that if you did it might lead to something else, and that I wouldn't be able to make you happy like you make me happy, cos I can never be what you deserve. I was also terrified that the only person I ever liked was you. Was a boy and my best friend, cos I know I've liked girls before but I've never wanted an actual girlfriend. I've only ever liked girls sexually. Not that I don't like you sexually, don't get me wrong I've thought about it a lot, but sorry that's not the point, I like you in a way I've never liked a girl. Romantically. I wanna go on dates, walks in the hills, candlelit dinners, laughs, I wanna hold your hand and kiss your cheeks and look into your beautiful eyes when we're close, or when the sun hits them and they shine just so bright and melt. I wanna cuddle infront of a fireplace with you, I want to kiss under mistletoe and sneak glances at college, and I wanna know everything about you," he said moving closer.
"because you never fail to amaze me. I want to know your favourite colour, your lucky number, your favourite day of the year. I wanna read your favourite book, listen to your favourite song, watch your favourite film, and more than that I wanna know why they're your favourite things. I'm so sorry about my reaction. I'm so sorry for being a dick. I'm so sorry that you could ever begin to think I could ever hate you, when I'll I've ever done is love you. I wanna be with you, I want to be a part of your heart, cos I know for damn sure you're the whole of mine. Please take me, I'm begging you. Please tell me you feel the same." He stopped, tears starting to from in his eyes.
Naveed hadn't shown any sign of anything. Happiness, sadness, acceptence, rejection. Nothing.
Naveed smiled slightly, nodded and began to walk away.
"Hey, I asked you to wait until the end" Cory shouted.
Naveed begin to turn around.
"I though you had finis-" he began, but as he turned fully around, he was greeted with the lips of the other boy.
So sweet and full of love and fear and desire, but most of all desperation. It was sloppy but it was better than the first kiss, so much better. Cory had put his heart on the table and this was him placing it in the hands of Naveed, because he needed him to have it. Naveed placed his hands on the back of Cory's neck and kissed back, then Cory placed his hands on Naveed's hips, pulled them closer and deepened the kiss, making both of their stomachs do backflips, and frontflips and if stomachs could participate in the Olympics they would win gold for gymnastics.
Missy and Nas began to cheer, pulling the boys back from the floating daydream, back into the real world, where Naveed hadn't actually answered Cory.
Their foreheads rested on each others as they both just stared waiting for Missy and Nas to leave, which they did! (But only to outside, where they watched from the window).
"Of course I feel the same, you absolute plum" Naveed whispered, causing the boys to laugh.
Laughter fell to soft laughter, which fell into yet another heartfelt kiss.
