"Are you sure about this Z? What if you get hit by the bus while it drives by?" I asked in a worried tone, but he just brushed me off as he screwed in the light bulb.

I looked into the forest and let out a sigh. This was the exact same place where I ran away from those hunters, and it honestly kind of pained me that Zed was doing it here.

But he doesn't know that much about my past anyway, so I can't really blame him.

"When do I throw the confetti?" Zoey asked impatiently, ready to make a little mess, and I laughed at her cuteness.

"You'll know," Zed said, screwing another light bulb in.

My ears perked up at the sound of an engine in the distance. I fixed my perennial vision and saw that the bus was passing the signs, and not long after, it turned the corner.

"Uh Zed?"

"Give me a minute."

"Zed, get down now!"

"Wait, almost done."

"ZED MOVE"

"Done! Uh oh-"

Zed let out a yelp as he was struck onto the roof of the bus and, not long after, slid off as the bus went crashing into the forest.

I ran behind the bus just in time to see everyone already getting out except Addison.

"Bree, where's Addison?" I asked the plump girl, and she quickly looked around.

"U-uh! I don't know she was just with us!" She panicked, and I grabbed her shoulder.

"It's ok, I'll go find her," I said, and I took off into the woods, using my sense of smell to track the white-haired girl.

I didn't really like her, but Zed did, so I had to make sure she left the woods in one piece.

A few minutes later, I saw a flash of pink, and I knew it was Addison. I walked up to her and tapped her on the shoulder. She screamed and swung her fist at my face, but I caught it just in time, with a blank look.

"Watch the fist snowflake," I said, and she quickly retreated her hand with a smile.

"Oh, Moon, thank God you're here," she said happily.

"Wasn't it that hard to find you?" I said, crossing my arms.

She was going to say something but was caught off-guard by a howl. I immediately perked up and looked around for the sound-until I heard the sounds of twigs snapping and running footsteps.

Me and Addison turned around when we saw a girl our age step on a big stone and let out a leading howl, and others followed.

We made eye contact, and she squinted her eyes for a little bit before she looked to the right and retreated, but not before sparing me another glance.

I didn't know why, but I felt an extremely strong connection with her, as if I wanted to follow after her. It also didn't help that she looked like Willa, and just the way she looked at me reminded me of my mate with a more mature and serious face.

I mean, we were separated at four, so I wouldn't know what she would look like all grown up.

All of a sudden, Zed came up behind Addison and grabbed her arm. She let out another scream and swung her fist, but unlike me, Zed wasn't so lucky and got punched right across the nose.

As he groaned in pain, Addison's face turned into a smile when she saw it was her boyfriend.

"Zed!" She hugged him tightly, and he hugged her back.

"I missed you too," he chuckled out.

"There they are!" I heard Zoey's voice call out as she led the cheerleaders towards us.

"Oh, hey, Moon," Lacey said to me with a small blush covering her face.

I knew she had a crush on me, but I just ignored her.

"Hey," I said and turned back to Zoey.

"We're not alone. We're surrounded by... werewolves," Addison said.

"Cool!" Zoey said.

"What? Wolves? What wolves? Here wolves? Were-wolves?" The Aceys panicked and got on their phones.

"Nobody's going to believe this," Zed said.

‧˚₊꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒦꒷‧₊˚⊹‧˚₊꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒦꒷‧₊˚⊹

Yeah, it turns out they believed it with an iron fist.

"Werewolves are real! I always said the stories of monsters in the forest were real. And no one believed me," Bucky said.

"I thought werewolves were just myths," Zed said.

"Yeah, like cavities. Those are real too." Lacey said.

"Like I'm totally not standing right here!" I said, catching their attention, and they gave me a guilty look.

"My bad moon," he said, and I just rolled my eyes.

"Please, can I have one? I'm the only zombie in my class. A werewolf friend would be great. I'll feed him and walk him," Zoey begged our dad.

"Yeah, werewolves ain't class pets, Zoey. And they certainly ain't friendly well besides Moon," Zed said.

All of a sudden, Missy got onto the mic. "By order of the city council, effective immediately, all anti-monster laws are reinstated," she said, and all the zombies gasped in shock.

"Mom, that is unfair!" Addison called out, but her mom motioned for her to be quiet.

"Zed, we need to talk," Addison said, running over to Zed.

"We do. Even though you didn't write or answer any of my letters," he said.

"No, I wrote. A lot. The Aceys shredded all of our letters," she said, showing a bunch of letters shaped into pom-poms. Damn, that's cold.

"Addison. Will you make me the luckiest zombie and be my date to Prawn?" Zed asked, getting on one knee.

"No," she said bluntly, and I shot her a glare.

"Excuse me?!" I said, cocking my head at the white-haired girl.

"Great! No?!" Zed said it in surprise.

"Everyone's freaking out about werewolves, so the anti-monster laws are in effect again, which means... zombies can't go to Prawn'' Oh, that's why she said no. I almost went to jail right then and there.

"Okay, so that's why you said no?" Zed asked, and Addison nodded.

"Yeah," she said, and Zed started smiling.

"Why are you smiling?" She asked.

"Because when you said no, I thought you didn't like me anymore. But the only problem here is a bunch of blood-thirsty werewolves. We can fix that." I cut him off by slapping him across the face, making Addison gasp.

"Moon, why did you?"

"Don't say shit to me; you should watch your words around me, Zed." I sneered at him and stormed out of the gym.

After I left, I decided to go ahead and take Zoey with me since I knew dad wouldn't want her to walk home alone while we were walking. She started putting up small posters she made about the werewolves on some poles.

"Zoey, Moon, come on home. It's not safe out here with these werewolves on the loose!" Dad called out to us.

"Just one sec, have you seen a werewolf? I'm looking for a were-friend."She said she was walking over to a guy who was on top of a ladder with a worker's uniform on.

"Silly kid, there's no such thing as werewolves," the guy chuckled at her.

"But we heard it howl." Zoey complained.

"Hey Zo, come on, I'm sorry for her." I apologized to the man. He looked at me, and his eyebrows furrowed. I was starting to get a tad bit uncomfortable from his staring at me-well, more at my necklace.

"Maybe it was a hiker saying, "Howl's it going?" He said to her, finally breaking his eyesight from me.

"It was a werewolf," Zoey said, but cut herself off as she leaned closer to him.

"My, what big eyes do you have?" she said, and I looked, and his eyes were in fact larger than a regular human being, almost like my eyes.

"Ok, Zoey, it's time to go. Nice meeting you, sir," I said, picking Zoey up and walking back to the house.

Wyatt watched the white-haired girl until she got into the house. He grabbed onto his moonstone necklace and looked back at the house where she had entered.

"Is that you, Moon?" He mumbled and quickly got off the ladder and sped into the woods. Willa had to know about this.

"You're beautiful, you know."

She turns to him, graduation cheers ringing out in a chorus from across the beach. His arm is wrapped around her shoulders, side pressed to hers.

Distant classmates lift the Aceys high in the air in celebration, towards the rippling water. Lacey shrieks as they're thrown in, and everyone around them laughs before jumping in themselves. The werewolves are still on the shore, looking down at their gowns in distaste. They last half a moment more before they pull away the pink, leaving purple hues in its wake. They chuckle and laugh and yell and shout, and then turn towards the full moon and howl.

The aliens are on the cusp where sand meets water, waves lapping eagerly at the shore. One of them reaches a hand down and brushes their fingers against the water, only to jump back into another. They all look at each other before bursting into laughter, and then they start to dip their feet in, one at a time, easy smiles gracing their expressions. Zombies are making their own beat to dance to on the other side of the wolves, throwing sand and splashing water.

Zed's eyes shine.

"What makes you say that?" she asks, even as her cheeks flush. Her boyfriend shrugs, nonchalant. She pushes playfully at his arm. A laugh bubbles from his lips.

"Nothing, nothing! I just wanted to make sure you knew." He pauses, eyes darting from her eyes to the students on the beach and back again. He's nervous, but she doesn't know why. After all, her being half alien was probably the biggest relationship hurdle they could and would face. What else was left to be nervous about? "I just wanted you to know that no matter what, you're beautiful, inside and out. Blue hair, white hair, grey hair, pink hair, you're beautiful, and nothing will ever change that, Addison. Ever."

Her heart is warm with a feeling she will never tire of.

Zed ducks his head down, finding an interest in the bottom of his gown. Sand sticks to his scuffed shoes. His lips are a half smile that he tries to hide from her, like he's unsure about giving his heart to her so easily. Addison's never been more sure of something in her entire life, when it comes to the way she loves him, so, so much, more than she can put into words. She's always felt that words were never enough when it came to him.

She reaches over, poking at his cheek. He lifts his head and raises an eyebrow at her in a way that is ridiculously comical. She laughs and shakes her head. When her laughing comes to a stop, they're left staring at each other. Her eyes flicker down to his lips.

Zed closes the distance between them before she can, catching her by surprise. It's usually her, who can't stand it any longer, pulling him closer because close is still too far apart.

But it's him.

It's his hand that slips into her hair, his fingers that tug her closer, his lips that push against hers hard enough that her heart skips a beat. His kiss that lasts until they're both breathless.

He leans his forehead against hers when they break apart, a soft smile curving his lips. Addison's cheeks are red, and her body feels as though it's on fire. She wants to kiss him again and again.

"I love you," she tells him, breath a whisper past her lips. Zed chuckles, and the sound is music to her ears.

"I love you more," he teases right back, but his words are true, and this feels right, and she can't believe that she tried to leave him, this, here, all because she wanted to belong. She does feel like she belongs, when she's with him. She's felt like that from the moment they met.

She thinks coming back to him is the best decision she's ever made.

Happy 10th heavenly birthday to my sweet, baby boy Ace! Today would have been my sweet Ace's 10th birthday. It's so hard typing this because there just aren't enough amazing things to say about him. The first picture says it all. When I was crying, Ace was trying to console me with kisses. Ace was so special and will always have a special place in my heart. The way he always heard me when I was crying in pain and was the first in to help make me feel better. The way he swung my door open when he wanted to casually beg for food. I miss him so much! Bucky and the Acey's relationship?

Bucky, on the outside, is a self-absorbed prick. Thats just how he is, and how he has been for a long time. Tracey, Lacey, and Stacey are the same. It was no wonder why they all hung out together. It was what happened behind the scenes that made it different. It all started in middle school, when Bucky made cheer leading cool. The first of the squad to befriend the future king of cheer was Lacey. Within a week, Bucky and Lacey were a known thing. They ruled cheer practice together, with an iron fist. The blonde would nod and look down on anyone that Bucky would tell her to. She thought he was unbreakable, that was until she found him behind the bleachers before a game, his uniform stained with a bright red slushie. Lacey had instantly went into mom mode, dragging her boyfriend to the bathroom to clean him up, then stealing a varsity jacket from the locker room for him to wear over it. It became a statement, Bucky’s confidence in the jacket and Lacey’s daring glare making it impossible for her captain to be bullied ever again. The next addition would come in a girl who was new to town. During gym one day, Stacey had mentioned that she had been a cheerleader in her former town, and that afternoon Lacey had dragged her to practice. One puppy dog look to Bucky and the girl was in. Lacey and Stacey had started spending a ton of time together, Lacey showing her new friend the town, the cheers, and where to stay away from….which resulted in Bucky blowing up during lunch one day. In a fit of rage and jealousy, Lacey let her boyfriend rant, almost scared by the pure energy. The only thing that stopped him was a sudden snap back, Stacey getting right up into Bucky’s face. Now for once, he had someone who could put him back in his place when needed. It didn’t take long for Stacey to join their relationship, which soon made polyamory a commonplace in Seabrook students. The last, and most surprising, was Tracey. Over the summer, the Seabrook squad was competing when Bucky spotted the captain of a rival team from a neighboring town. Of course, they smothered the competition, but Bucky would never forget the look of determination and curiosity he caught from the rival captain as he walked out with the trophy. When school started once more, Bucky was more than surprised to see that look once more, in the tryouts for his team, the Mighty Shrimp. Bucky was sure he was a spy, but with some persuasion from Lacey and a shake-up from Stacey, Tracey was on the team. The relationship side came at a slower pace. Bucky’s two girlfriends started to notice something different about him.How his eyes would linger over their new friend a bit too long, how he would go hands on to re-position Tracey when he wouldn’t bother to touch anyone else. The two girls REALLY noticed it when they found Bucky in the boy’s locker room, kissing Tracey who he had shoved against the lockers. Bucky panicked, of course, but Tracey just looked to the girls with that determination once more and the next day, the entire school knew that Bucky and the Aceys were a thing, and they could not be separated. 

((So I hope this is cool. I do want to go in and do one fic for each BuckyxAcey. to flesh out more of the ideas that I have, but that will come later on))
