Hello, I've returned and I want to set some ground rules for my page that should be acknowledged.

Firstly, please don't interact with me if:

Are a "Proshipper". Get your trash out of here. (I will be blocking anybody I see who is proship or is very superficial about their dislike of proshippers.)

You ship Raven x Asuka, Sol x Ky, Sol x Sin, the Valentines with eachother. May and Bridget are on thin ice.

You sexualise May and Sin. I know apparently she's an adult but as far as I'm aware, the timelines don't add up between XRD and Strive. It makes me uncomfortable and I will block users without hesitation.

You use 'dark humour' such as joking about rape and topics alike. This includes Ky pedo jokes as well as calling certain affections "harassment" as a joke. You are not funny.

hi! Thought I should make this since it's pretty essential to most blogs.

I'm Thespian, although I go by Mirika on other parts of the internet. I'm an Ao3 author, writing for Genshin Impact, and occasionally dabbles in crossovers with other fandoms with my friend Zhelday there. I live in Australia, so if I take a few hours longer than usual to respond, that'll be why. If I complain about the god-awful heat in December, that's also why.

On here I post about three things: Fandoms, Writing, and occasionally Personal. Okay I used to try and mark my posts with specialised tags but uh I've realised that I cannot remember for the life of me to do that so... sorry. A note, some of my writing posts will include mentions of whump, therefore including subjects of torture, manipulation, and overall pain. Bit venty, but this is me talking about my disability, tw: ableism.

Random, but I thought I'd just blog about it. In case you didn't know when you followed my blog: I am mute! I cannot speak. I am not ''non-verbal'' As I can still verbalize, (Laugh, make sounds) I simply cannot speak words as the result of chronic pain. Laughing can still trigger migraines, but I'd still rather retain my ability to laugh than be unable to function due pain.

One thing that really frustrates me about my personal experience is the casual ableism that has been thrown my way ever since I lost my voice. The constant begging and pretending that my voice is missed- the ignoring of my chronic pain.. Acting like It doesn't exist and that me using speech assistant (app) is inconvenient for everyone else- when it really just isn't to people who actually care about me.

I've had a therapist tell me I am not disabled?? Guess who got fired? Chronic pain and invisible disabilities get treated this way by ''professionals'' too often unfortunately.

Casual ableism ranges widely.. ''You could train your voice!'' (Toxic positivity) As if my vocal chords / throat aren't the source of chronic pain. There's nothing to train. (Ex: If you have permanent nerve damage in your feet, walking on them is not going to remove the problem??) Then there's also ''You're just shutting yourself out of society, you are selfish.'' Which is absolutely bullshit and incredibly hurtful. Society? Fuck that, If there's anything that shuts me out its people unwilling to compromise for someone who has a disability. I have friends who do not agree with people who think like this and accept me as I am.

''You are choosing not to speak'' Which is also a gross assumption. I did not ''choose'' not to speak, if there was a choice here at all it was to not be in pain 24/7. (I still am often sick and in pain regardless, just less.) I still speak. I have speech assistant. It might be a robot voice, but it is a voice.

People have tried to link my mutism to my autism, or claim I have an anxiety disorder.. Or fill in the blank that it is a fear thing, but it is a pain thing. I'm not scared to use speech assistant to speak my mind? It makes no sense.

People often assume I am deaf because I can't speak.

People have said ''I won't speak'' instead of accepting I can't. Speak. ''You could if you tried'' I have in fact, tried on several occasions. It's gone? Even if I ever recover a voice, it will always be incredibly painful to use.

Speech assistant is a tool I use as a mute person to speak, like how a deaf person uses hearing aids to help them hear.

On the bright side, I have experienced otherwise mostly compassion from strangers without being asked about it when I go out and do my shopping and groceries. No one asks why I'm using my phone to speak here. No one demands anything from me. Only on occasion they think I'm deaf, and try to write a response on my phone because of that..

Anyway, if you ever see me blog about my life, I hope the mutism thing adds context to some situations. I am very private for the most part. (But I also have written about this before a while ago.)

you do not need dysphoria to be trans. trans-ness necessitating dysphoria is transphobic. being trans is not a burden or a disease and trans people are not required to hate their bodies or themselves in some kind of sadistic repentance of sinfulness to gain the approval of gender conformists and their society

boypussy is an irl term coined by queer men/transfemmes to describe themselves. the fanfic meaning is an expansion on these origins. it's perfectly apt to label trans porn with if those involved desire to

like all people, it is fine to sexualize trans people in fiction. lusting for a trans person's (or any person's) body is not a fetish. lust is not predation. trans people are not unfuckable monsters or sexless infants. we're as horny & hot as everyone else, internet or not

if you do have a fetish, there is nothing wrong with that. fetishes are not immoral actors. it's the individual that enacts misdeeds, not the imagination

the predominant existing counterpoints to what i describe here are the enemy of queer liberation. they're regurgitated christian puritanism w a rainbow sheen or a desperate attempt to assimilate into cis society to soothe burning internalized queerphobia.

finally, i want those who resonate with jimin as i wrote him in cornucopia to know: you are trans enough. you are queer enough. binary, dysphoric trans people are not more trans than you. your relationship with gender is more nuanced and intricate than ours will ever be. and i'm glad that you do not hold your body and its queerness in contempt. it deserves all the pleasure and desire it gets.

as for if you are uncomfortable with boypussy as it appears in fanfic, that's fine. it could easily be triggering for a myriad of reasons. you deserve trans fic you want to read. but boypussy is trans, and the people who write it are not hurting you or the trans community.

there are ways to discuss concern for why binary and/or dysphoric trans characters are written less often in pwp without demonizing an entire subset of genderqueer fiction. it's still a non-issue except at a personal scale, but i'm sympathetic to the adverse reaction. not anti-enby transphobic rhetoric, though, or self-importance.
