MHA Chapter 421 spoilers translations

This week’s initial tentative super rough/literal translations under the cut.

(Note: What Sero is saying here is that one time Shouto had this look on his face that is described by the Japanese slang word: gangimari. Gangimari refers to an intense, eyes-wide face that comes from a marijuana high. It also refers to a feeling of emptiness that comes with the high. If you search for images of the face, you'll see it's often a frightening look. I believe Sero here is referring to the face Shouto makes at him in their sports festival battle in chapter 34, so I believe this description is meant to refer to how Shouto was overwhelmed with anger and mentally somewhat removed from the fight itself.)

[Heads up!: nothing but fluff!]

Holding your breath, you creep around the corner, socked feet quiet against the hallway floor. Around you, you can't hear anything save for the creak of wood and soft sounds of sleep as you sneak along.

It feels wrong to be awake when the others aren't (save for Zoro, who's on watch) and you swallow hard as you make your way towards your destination as quickly and quietly as possible.

The kitchen is dark and quiet as you enter, moonlight your only way of seeing until you reach the fridge. There's some guilt to be had about knowing the code to it, because Sanji trusts you ㅡ what would he say if he knew?

The thought of it makes you hesitate, frowning to yourself. Would he be angry? Or disappointed? Orㅡ

The light flicks on. "[Name]?"

You squint at the sudden introduction of light, blinking before you look over, freezing aa your heart sinks. Sanji stares at you in confusion and a little concern. "What are you doing? Are you okay?"

Busted.

Deciding that it isn't worth lying or coming up with an excuse you know he'll see through quickly, your shoulders slump. "I was gonna get a snack," you mumble.

Sanji stares for a long moment before he moves towards the fridge and enters the code before he reaches in, producing a neatly wrapped piece of cheesecake.

"I thought you might, so I hid this from Luffy." He holds it out to you, smile tugging at his lips. "You don't have to feel guilty for being hungry, [Name]. Okay?"

You stare before you hesitantly take the plate, tugging at the wrapping before you sit down and look over. "Sanji," you call, stopping the blond as he moves to leave the kitchen. Your cheeks pink. "Thank-you, and...I think this piece should be shared, don't you?"

He blinks before his expression softens ㅡ genuine, no trace of his usual over the top flirting as he answers, "Of course, mon petit chou."

The cheesecake is, of course, delicious ㅡ but made sweeter for the fact that you aren't alone to enjoy it.

I feel like you'd have to push a bit but, if it made you happy, he'd find some time to go. He'd do anything to see you smile, but to be honest, when you both would be there, he would actually really enjoy it. Would definitely come back with you.

Beach day

Not that you haven't seen him like that before but, Sae shirtless is a beautiful view. I think he would actually tease you for it a bit, honestly you wouldn't go in the water that much but i'd definitely see you both play beach volley or soccer together. You for sure fell a few times.

Cuddling

May not seem like it but the slightest bit of free time he has is spent with you, i think he loves cuddling with you on the couch. He's a sucker for laying on your lap or you leaning on his shoulder. Make him weak in the knees

Dancing

Quiet evenings with Sae are just pure heaven, you both are doing your own things but it feels like you're doing it together even if it's silence you know ? But yea it usually is just you laying on his lap or opposite and spend the evening doing your own stuff while still being close to eachother.

Restaurants

Sae loves taking you to fancy restaurants, dates like these in dim lights of a restaurant. Booked the entire place for just the two of you, it's selfish but for you, anything, even if you didn't ask. He takes you out on restaurants dates at least once every two weeks.

Stargazing

With the city lights, there are some stars visible, he absolutely loves the look on your face when you look up at the midnight sky, he has to agree the sky is very pretty, yet you outshine any day to him. Stargazing dates are a little rare but he enjoys them a lot.

Teasing

There is quite a bit of teasing, but not that much, he loves to see your flustered face whenever he makes a comment. If it was an embarrassing nicknames or just about something you said. He loves your completely red face.

Uber

Does he order ubers ? Not really, Sae doesn't drink, or at least, in very limited quantity. So he usually drives you both around but if it's cold and you both walked somewhere maybe he will, but he prefers driving.

Vacations

Don't happen often because of his work but when it does, it's it own thing. He won't let you be bored for even one second, but honestly, i think he's the kind to go on a resting kind of vacations you know ?

Wedding

He has thoughts of it but he's not completely sure, it might be too early and he really wants to, but he doesn't know if it's a good idea with his career, but maybe a fake marriage. He'd be up for that for sure.

Yoga

Like his brother rin, sae loves to do some yoga, i think he likes to show you some stuff. You'd definitely be ecstatic to do some with him. He just likes to the smile on your face or laugh when you mess something up.

Zzz

Actually really likes to have asleep on him and to sleep with you. He just can't go to sleep without you close to him, he just needs you with him. Your presence suppress his anxiety and he absolutely loves waking up to your light snoring and messy hair, the completely unfiltered version of yourself.

A hand reaches out and touches your cheek, his thumb grazes your skin lightly and it brings a small smile to your face.

You gave him only a small hum as response and it brings a noise of disapproval from him.

He takes your hand without another care in the world and ushers you out of the dining room of the manor and into his room.

"You're tired, are you not? Come to my bed, your next match isn't for a few more hours. Rest with me and I will let you know when to wake up."

"But I have to practice-"

"There's no need to practice on occasions like these, there's time to practice another day"

And with that, there were no words to be said. You let Joseph guide you towards his bed and you fell onto it as soon as your knees hit the soft mattress.

It brought a chuckle to the man's face and that made you feel good, it wasnt rare for you to see eachother but spending time alone together wasn't as normal either.

Times like these where you could make eachother laugh without having to worry about other company, it made you happy.

Joseph settled in beside you on the bed, careful to keep his distance.

"Come closer Joseph" you say

He inches just a tiny bit closer, but even with the confirmation you gave him, it still didn't make him budge.

You set your head on his shoulder and place your hand on his waist as you cuddle up closer to him on the bed.

Joseph places a small kiss on your head and places a hand near your hair. Twisting and playing with it as you start to fall asleep.

It brings you into a daze and soon the atmosphere around you falls into a dark void a you close your eyes and drift off to sleep.

When you wake up again, the warmth you had wasn't there anymore. Instead of it being by your side, it felt as if it was behind you.

As the hazy feeling in your head, from just waking up, leaves it helps you regain your senses back. You twist a bit on the bed and you look back to see Joseph.

His face was smashed into the pillow, his hair set prettily on his face, and his mouth was just a bit agape as he breathes in and out.

It was a miracle you didn't wake him up with all the twist and turning you were doing.

You often were the one asleep, but you usually never saw Joseph sleep. He was always alert and on guard.

Subconsciously you reach your hand to graze his face, like how he had done with you at the dinner table.

In his sleep Joseph moves closer to you, closer to you then before.

His hand rested wrapped around you and his head was near the crook of your neck now.

Hair now right in your face, it was too tempting and you weren't about to pass on being able to play with his hair while he was asleep.

He always kept it so neat and tidy, and it still was just like that even when he was sleeping.

The ribbon I'm his hair stood just a bit crooked and you tried to fix it to the best of your abilities, but nothing really worked.

Your efforts were futile as Joseph nuzzles into you more and effectively the ribbon loosens.

It's so loose now that it just falls off, so you take it out and let his hair go down freely.

You always saw Joseph as a very pretty man, but in situations like these where his hair cascaded down his shoulders and the sun shined through the window just right. It was as if he were the most beautiful man on earth.

You admires him for all he was and you were glad to be able to spend time with him like this.

It brought a smile to your face and you decided to enjoy the moment.

You press a lingering kiss to his head and go back to sleep as you hold eachother.

You woke up again, and this time the warmth from the other man was completely gone.

Instead you saw him by a chair nearby, situated with his camera in hand. He inspected thoroughly and hadn't noticed you were awake yet.

As you look at him more closely you can see that he had the ribbon tied to his hand, his hair neatly tucked behind his ears but no ponytail or braid in sight.

You let out a small groan as you stretch, but you don't dare leave the bed, it was still so comfy and warm.

Joseph doesn't jump but he immediatly looks for the source of the noise, and he smiles to greet your sleepy appearance.

"Did you sleep well mon ange?"

You nod as you go to get up but he stops you.

Hurriedly he places his camera down and goes over to you.

He sits beside you on the bed and your hand rests beside his. You look down and see how close it is to yours and you can't help yourself but grab it.

You place a small kiss on the back of his hand, he smiles and decides to do the same to your hand.

"I have good news for you" he says as he places both hands on your waist and moves you to the middle of the bed and into a criss cross position.

"What is it?" You ask and inspect how he reaches for your hair and starts to braid it.

"Your matches for the day have been canceled, you'll be able to be with me for the rest of the day"

That brought you immense joy, you really needed a break from so many matches. Especially after all the defeats you had been getting, survivors really are tough to win against sometimes.

Your glad to be able to enjoy the moment with Joseph, and be able to spend the rest of the day with him.

You close your eyes and hum a tune as he finishes up your braid.

"There you go, mon cher" he says, and ties the braid by loosening the ribbon on his wrist and tieing it to your hair instead.

"Oh Joseph you don't have to do that"

"It is my pleasure" He places one last kiss on your head before he dives in to cuddle you for longer.

Je viens de revoir KV1 pour la 1ere fois depuis sa sortie en salle et voici quelques random thoughts :

Venec le Fenec 💯💯

Je trouve que le jeu de Guillaume Gallienne va pas trop avec l'écriture de AA, ça a l'air un peu forcé (le perso en lui-même est sympa par contre)

Loth est complètement à bout, prions pour un putsch dans KV2 sinon j'ai peur pour sa santé mentale

Le Duc d'Aquitaine est incroyable, manupilation émotionnelle tout en délicatesse

Bohort et Gauvain ces petits choux à la crême avec leur petite table ronde je les aime

Fière de Bohort et de son évolution capillaire

Calo se fait toujours tailler parce qu'il est trop chiant j'aime ce running gag

Lui par contre je comprends moins son cheminement capillaire, d'où il sort ces cheveux ?

Séli et Élias : wlw et mlm BFFs 🏳️‍🌈

Galessin a sûrement passé ces 10 dernières années à bronzer sur un rampart et franchement mood

Gareth a la même manière de parler que Gauvain 🥹

Les filles de Karadoc qui ont AUCUN PROBLÈME à l'idée de buter leur mère 😃

D'ailleurs Mevanwi est incroyable, l'attitude, le costume, une reine

Toujours aussi déçue des retrouvailles entre les semi-croustillants, les resistants de Gaunes et Arthur. Ça fait 10 ans que vous vous êtes pas vus, vous étes censées être proches (surtout Perceval et Arthur), où est la grande séquence émotion ?

Ah pardon, non, on a quand même de très jolies retrouvailles entre Léodagan et les catapultes 🥰

D'ailleurs y'a quand même un gros progrès au niveau des personnages féminins par rapport aux debuts de la série

J'aime beaucoup la nouvelle génération, même si je suis pas toujours convaincue par leur jeu

Je trouve que les flashbacks sont pas super utiles niveau narration ou même développement du personnage d'Arthur. Ca nous apprend pas grand chose de plus. À voir si ça a de l'importance plus tard.

La partie de robobrole j'aime bien, c'est l'évolution logique des jeux bizarres de Perceval

Je suis pas fan des répliques qui sont là pour le fan-service, mais y'en avait moins que dans mon souvenir

J'aime bien le running gag des frères et soeurs qui ont l'air de sortir de nulle part (alors qu'ils ont tous été mentionnés à un moment dans la série si je me trompe pas ? À part Gareth peut-être ?)

Du coup j'attends la nièce et la soeur de Galessin et la tatan de Karadoc dans KV2 hein.

Dagonet je me demande ce qu'il a fait pour mériter être à peu près au même rang que Loth, Blaise et le Jurisconsul, et pas sur les ramparts avec Galessin

La bataille finale est parfaite, que ça soit le plan avec les burgondes ou le duel Lancelot/Arthur

Conclusion j'ai beaucoup plus apprécié le film lors de ce deuxième visionnage. J'avais peut-être trop d'attentes quand je l'ai vu au cinéma. Il se passe un peu trop de trucs, y'a un peu trop de nouveaux personnages pas toujours utiles, mais ça pose bien les bases pour la suite. En espérant un retour d'Yvain, et aussi d'Anna parce que je me demande ce qu'elle a foutu pendant 10 ans 🫡

(et puis c'est grâce à ce film que j'arrive enfin à peu près à reconnaître Sting donc c'est toujours ça de prix)

Finally have a chance to throw my thoughts together! And boy do I have them!!

Just ahshshs- lyney you’re so smart and cunning but also pretty dense my guy. I’m so glad you have moral standards but the fact your first thought when thawed!reader wants to kiss you is that ‘oh she is just drunk, :(‘ as opposed to ‘Ah! I may actually have a slight chance’ says something. I know you’re basing your thoughts on imperfect information and past experiences but please- I’m begging you- I know you have a big brain please use it-

But honestly, my heart goes out to him. In his half of the pov his pinning is so clear to see. I’m willing to bet money that Lyney would just happily accept the fact that he can interact with t!reader on some sort of positive level again, no matter if he is just a friend forever because she’s back! She’s real again, not just rose-tinted memories and this silent secret between the twins and Freminet. He is going through these extra and at times inconvenient steps just to keep her safe, even going against his own desires (letting Childe keep an eye on her while he goes to father) and even against his own loyalties to an extent ( i mean, the sensible loyal fauti thing to do would be to immediately report that the previously awol/MIA solider was found, wouldn’t it? )

ALSO THE ‘MON LAPIN’ NICKNAME!?! So many thoughts AND feelings on that!! *insert the cork board meme*

It fits so well!! I looked up some rabbit information just to see and rabbits are so skittish! I checked it out and so many things can set them off- bad experiences, new lotion smell, smelling like a different animal like a cat!! Like they not recommended to be children pets cause you gotta be gentle. But they’re so active! Not to mention herbivores!! Lyney may not know the truth but I’m sure he knows where his gift was delivered too! Thawed reader is a rabbit confirmed.

Looking outside of lyney and t!reader’s interactions though, it’s always so interesting to see t!reader’s other interactions. The obvious joy she has when she realizes Lynette showed up, and Lynette’s instant care in asking if t!reader has anywhere safe to go to. The tense somewhat friendship forming between aether and her, where a slight misstep could mean destruction of her life but there’s enough going on for minor banter and to try and help recover from a hangover (the water, and my current guess is that is the reason why her drink is different at the end) and now the beginnings of co-conspirators between Childe and her; the former laughing and seems to be almost excited while the latter is even more tense and nervous because it’s about to get a whole lot more complicated

ALSO CHILDE! SMART MAN, SO GLAD YOU’RE IN THE KNOW! Welcome to the peanut gallery of lyney and t!reader’s relationship! Hope you enjoy the show! But now that childe is officially an active player in the story, it’s making me think about the current time line and how different it’s gonna go from the canon game. As of right now, the only confirmed event from the Fontaine archon/various other quests is Lyney and Lynette’s trial since Childe has yet to be accused of anything (so we can assume that the missing people case is still ongoing) and aether is specifically doing this to see if he can trust the twins (something you can argue about him realizing via/during Lyney’s story quest). Especially know with the knaves early arrival to push things along

I should stop myself at this point so imma just leave off with the fact Lyney is starting to feel something as wrong when faced with Childe at the party AND the fact that t!reader remembering a fair bit of what happened, but the key point being that’s it’s very blurry has me kicking and freaking out. It’s gonna get much more messy real soon.

oh, nice. this is basically the mindset i had when i was making my a3!mon teams though slightly more pokemon world rules than real life

i havent really touched my edits since last year bc of the end of the english a3! server and burnout of making another several dozen more teams for ace attorney (never ended up posting up til now) which brought myself to nearly 100 teams. making several documents to keep track and notes, resizing the pokemon appropriately for edits, trying not reuse certain pokemon too often, deciding picks taking lifespan in consideration and not just in the moment stuff, trying to come up with something for characters with less information to work with etc…

anyway i hope to get back into it this summer. i mostly want to just resize the a3!mon teams i already have. i do need to catch up with event and main story stuff for a3! since i havent bothered in over a year. doing so might make me change my mind about some picks, especially for the og troupe leaders and some other new side characters that were introduced. for the ace attorney ones i want to post those on reddit probably

James took another step back when Sirius grew closer, silently cursing whichever deity it was that decided giving him such an infernally deep voice was a good idea. The way he said Jamie was doing all sorts of things to James' insides, and all he could think about was Sirius' hands on his skin, Sirius' lips on his body and Sirius wrapping his fingers around James' throat to hold him in place as he—

"Answer the question, sweetheart."

James started, blinking up at Sirius for a confused second before he remembered the question. He nodded mutely, eyes unconsciously trailing down from Sirius' face to the stiff lines of the corset. Sirius clicked his tongue and reached out a hand, gently gripping James' chin and lifting his head so their eyes met again.

"Words, mon amour," he demanded softly, and it took James a few seconds to comprehend that he was supposed to say something through the sudden flush of arousal that struck his core at Sirius' deep, husky voice.

"Yes, Sirius," he replied, words coming out a little breathless. "I like it."

Je l'avais pas poster maaaaais regardez-moi ça ! Steven Dupré et AA à la fnac. Moi et mon meilleur pote on a séché les cours pour ça mais worth it.

Je leur ai offert à tous les deux des caramels mous + du toblerone pour AA, ce qui l'a tellement perturbé qu'il a écrit "pour Justice" au lieu de "pour Justine" sur mon livre, en m'accusant en plus en mode "vous voyez ce que je fais quand on me met du toblerone dans la gueule 😆?" (Poke @sloubs pour l'idée)

Bref AA a été incroyablement gentil, sachez-le. Pour la faire court, je l'ai remercié pour Kaamelott, pour tout ce que ça m'a apporté quand j'allais pas bien et tout. Il a dit "ah bah là pour la suite je prépare pas des trucs joyeux". Je lui ai dit que paradoxalement quand j'allais mal je regardais des trucs tristes, et il a dit "non c'est compréhensible, comme ça vous savez que vous êtes pas toute seule". Avec un ton juste ... Bah gentil ???? J'avais grave peur qu'il soit impressionnant et sarcastique mais c'est juste un amour.

Bref on dit toujours "ne jamais rencontrer ses idoles" mais AA est vraiment le contre exemple parfait et voilà c'était juste un chouette moment.
