I had cosplayed Puss in Boots to school that day and my friend had accidentally cosplayed Ramona Flowers, while knowing nothing about Scott Pilgrim. I wanted to cosplay Ramona so we looked all around to find a bathroom to change in, but we couldn’t find one.

parkner nation idk if this is old news but the webslinger ride in disneyland gives us canon peter and harley friendship. there’s a team of five kids (including peter) who run the web lab and harley’s one of them. he has merch. his notes are all over the decorational whiteboards. he has a locker in peters lab. i am thrilled about this. my little guys

Luke won't let Din break them out of small jailhouses for minor infractions because he thinks it's rude, so they've spent the last five hours sitting in a cell on a backwater planet while their son calls his Uncle Boba to come bail them out. To Luke's credit, he didn't know mixing ship fuel in a bathtub was illegal. Din did know that hanging people by their feet *was* illegal, but they called Luke and Grogu gremlins, and Din had behaved himself all day, he deserved a fun little treat.

All in all, not a bad anniversary.

i just think that braiding hair is such an intimate thing. bc it takes so much time and effort to braid someone's hair properly it always ends up becoming an excuse to hang out as your hair gets done. idk i think its just a really nice thing

... so anyway, I'm a lying liar who lies about not drawing for the rest of the month. If I say I'm gonna "doodle something real quick and then write", grab my access to Clip Studio Paint and all my tablets, and run.

One is a sketch/color test based on a scene in the staircase fic and inspired heavily by Eyvind Earle's work for Disney's Sleeping Beauty. The other is me feeling a bit spicy and also letting my brain build up on a sliver of an idea. But it's mostly me feeling a little bit spicy, as a treat.

Seven Sentence Sunday

just becasue I've actually managed to get some writing done today, have a section of what was supposed to be a short fic to get me back into writing mode for my time travel AU but instead has become a monster in its own right 😂😭

Eddie and Buck take Christopher to Disneyland at the start fo the school holidays and Chris is practically vibrating with excitement in his seat the entire car journey there, chatting away at a million miles an hour about all the things he wants to do and where he wants to eat.

A couple of weeks ago, they had sat down with Chris for a video call with one of the Disney cast members to go through the DAS advance program and Buck had downloaded the genie app to his phone in readiness.

The evening prior to their trip had the three of them sat around the table in the Diaz dining room planning which rides they wanted to go on.

Christopher writing a list and numbering them in order of preference.

Once he had gone to bed, Eddie and Buck settled onto the sofa, Buck nestled between Eddies legs, with a beer each and the tv on in the background.

Buck had set about planning a route around the park and how to make the most of their day so they could achieve as much as possible while Eddie sat and watched him with the fondest smile on his face, running his fingers through Bucks hair.

Buck had mentioned wanting to ride splash mountain before it was closed for its transformation into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure “So they could go back in a couple of years and compare the upgraded technology and animatronics with what the ride was currently using.”

So next week we take a family trip to Disneyland, then when we get back our incredible son heads off to college. We are so proud of him and know he will be awesome in this next journey in his life. We are sure going to miss him and I know even tho we have talked to Kade quite a bit a about him leaving for school, these boys are going to miss each other.

My main hope when I planned my trip to Disneyland this winter was to spot the wandering Mando & Son, but managing a 3-day trip with family was making it next to impossible to watch for them. Worse is that they don't appear on the character list in the app, so it was turning into a goddamn crapshoot.

Well on the last day with golden hour setting in and a dinner reservation to get to, I wanted to swing through the Black Spire Outpost one last time to maybe buy a few things. I walked past a Fennec Shand, did a double-take and whirled around, and bam!

Shiny buckethead glowing pretty and golden in the sunlight!

They are everything the videos show them to be. Also, Grogu giggles. RIP my sanity.
