Well, I’m heading off to Salem today, wearing my snazzy Team Magic/Hocus Pocus shirt. I’ll try and let you guys know how it goes!

Connecticut Calm (Waters)
I’m generally anxious around this time of year, approaching the end of the semester, but this year I am particularly so: I seem to be uneasy in general and in Salem in particular. The nice weather has kicked off the tourist season earlier than ever, or maybe it never ended? This means large tour groups just outside my house as late as 10:00 at night, with guides speaking about the ancient “ankle…

So today i went to a river in the mountains with family, it was fun we swam in the ice cold natural water, we fought for our lives against the current barely holding onto branches for dear life and found a small area with flowers rocks and a crooked tree which me and my siblings christened "coca cola land" named after an empty coca cola box we found
A bit disappointed we didn't find narnia or wonderland in coca cola land or anything but it was a fun time and I'll remember it for a while

Short summary of my trip to Salem yesterday (a whole day after the fact):
Tiring. Wet. Rainy. Couldn’t really get a lot of comments about my shirt, especially since it was covered up most of the time. But I think it could’ve been way worse.
I got in a lot of sightseeing (not just on the main drag and whatnot, i.e. Essex Street). Checked out some of the different vendors. I still got food in me, which is important.
On a more historical note, I visited the oldest candy company in the country, as well as the only Ouija board museum in the world (and got to talk directly with the curator).
So all in all, for what was thrown at me yesterday, it honestly wasn’t too bad.

What Makes a Great Vacation
Have you ever thought about what makes a great vacation? I know for myself it depends on where you’re wanting to travel too especially if you are theme park fan.
I think as it relates to travel it’s important to take into consideration what you would like to achieve on your vacation… if you would like relax a cruise might be your best option. If you like theme parks there’s so many options out…

A Day Trip to Frenchtown, New Jersey
Even though I’ve lived in New Jersey for almost half my life, there are many corners of this small state I still haven’t visited. Enter Frenchtown, a small river town I learned about randomly on social media a few years ago. Located on the westernmost border of the state, this charming borough immediately went on my list of places I wanted to visit, with its historical roots, eclectic vibe, and…

Logan’s approach to taking a day off to go somewhere would be to make a list of places Thomas is interested in visiting, and then figure out the one most viable for a day trip. If none are then it would be to look at local attractions within reasonable travel distance and decide on one of those to visit. This is what I attempted and discarded doing yesterday, discarding after realising the site I found is useless for knowing actual travel methods.
Roman’s approach (probably Remus’s too) would be to pick a direction and just go until he finds somewhere interesting to explore, or as I did today, look at the trains on the board and decide a destination from that. It can have varying results but isn’t completely without merit even when the destination decided on falls short.
I was going to say one of the other sides for my plans for tomorrow, but lets be real, it’s Logan and Roman feeding off each other for their approach. Logan is the one who would look up a list of attractions, Patton or Roman would be the ones to immediately notice places that have good memories and ask if Thomas can go there. Virgil would be the one shutting it down, because distance, website lies, etc. Roman would push to insist they should still go, and Logan would figure out the logistics of making it happen and getting there.
Apparently my methods for going on days out this week are Logince co-ordinated, and I’m honestly thinking Logan has more to do with the ones where I haven’t left the city I live in, cause one was learning about our history and Friday’s will be learning about Space
