I do think the disclaimers from authors about NOT ENDORSING!!!! certain behaviors in fics is pretty funny, but I’ll admit I do it too. Oddly I only put warnings for abuse of the self, not the abuse of others. I write a fair bit of fic that “romanticizes” (or seems like it does) suicide/self harm/eating disorders to the point where it can almost be a tutorial of how to do it if I’m graphic enough. So in those I normally just add dead dove tags and put a disclaimer about how the trigger warning is no joke and you shouldn’t do the things that the characters do in the fic. It’s not like a Lifetime Movie end credits where the authors note is filled with hotlines and stuff, just a quick little note that, hey, yeah, if you’re considering this, don’t do it.
Oddly, I don’t think that behavior comes from fandom itself but rather from a completely different corner of the internet — when I struggled with the same stuff that I write about, it was pretty common for everyone’s bio to say that they “don’t promote” or they’re “not pro” and I guess old habits die hard. (Whether or not certain types of depression/SH/ana blogs etc really DONT promote or those words are just a please-don’t-ban-me card is a completely different discussion.)
It’s pretty ironic actually because when I’m on the other side of things (as the reader), reading about it is really cathartic in fic, but triggering (not in a fun way) in “real” books. Like there’s several books I had to DNF or shelf because it got to be too much, but oddly enough fic actually helps me a lot.
WOW that was all way heavier than I intended to get when I first started typing this ask! But yeah, that’s my own personal relationship to “I do not endorse” and I didn’t realize how odd it actually is until I started reading some of these other asks! I don’t think any type of “this is bad, actually” authors note is ever necessary honestly, but I also don’t think they’re that big of a deal — if a note from the writer about how they’re ~totally against the “bad” thing they’re writing about~ really takes you out of the fic that much, I don’t understand that either…it’d be one thing if they rambled on and on but even then I don’t think it’s that big of a deal 🤣 Annoying maybe but no one is required to read the AN.
My general threshold is “would a movie/podcast/real™️ book have a similar Viewer Discretion Adviced notice? If so, your A/N is likely fine and not virtual signal-ly or OTT at all.”

Heh. I think you're assuming a very different type of PSA from what other people are.
From what I've read, self-harm, suicide, and disordered eating are some of the topics that are a bit Monkey See, Monkey Do. Even support group discussions may increase the desire to cut, for example. It's still not 1:1, and we should be able to make art about serious topics, but a PSA doesn't feel totally absurd here. There are plenty of scientific studies showing measurable increases in people hurting themselves IRL after consuming certain material. Even if you did include a hotline, most people's objection is like "That number isn't valid for where I live", not "No one should ever do this".
I think if you polled people, you'd find that many of the PSA-haters are actually totally fine with "Hey, this fic contains serious depictions of mental illness. Make sure you're up for that today." and similar warnings.
But what people are actually talking about in 99% of "PSAs suck" discussions is rape fantasies.
Some clown writes a fic that is blatant fap material for people who like bodice ripper ravishment, and then they plaster it with "Rape Fantasies Bad" commentary that shows that they're judging themselves and their readers in a puritanical way that's a mega-buzzkill, completely out of keeping with the tone of the fic, and completely out of keeping with the actual scientific evidence.
Rape fantasies are commonplace and not a big deal, and to the extent that any depictions are demonstrably harmful, it's things like mainstream Hollywood movies reinforcing very standard cultural narratives, not somebody's sex pollen fic that's probably full of "It's so wrong, so why is it so hot???" anyway.

next up i acutally had no fucking idea what hetch/founder/puzzler was going to be and i ended up on those. puzzler goes to curator becuase, although museum ending did imply that curator is on a higher power compared to narrator, her being the founder and narrator being part of the cast is kindof a huge shift imo??? i think the contrast of curator being puzzler and narrator being cast does show the whole power deal but not a HUGE amount

I will start by thanking u for having this blog and opening my eyes on alot of things even though I dont agree on everything u say here ( I think Jensen was fantastic as SB he was simply the best thing about season 3) but I agree on alot of things that said here and the fact that Jensen choosed to be mediocre in all aspects of his life and it's just sad , for ex in acting he wasted his prime years doing soap opera and cheap cw tv , usually new actors with ambition will start with small budget and indie movies till they get better opportunities and stay away from tv because it's a known fact that's tv actors rarely make it out of tv , Jensen now want to be an A lister but it's too late now he is 45 , Jp fans always get mad when we compare him to movies stars ,but the truth is he have movie star qualities maybe he doesn't have the range to be campared with DiCaprio or rayan Gosling but actors like Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth have nothing on him in term of talent, looks and charisma , it's just they were smarter in their choices , CE casted as CA based on his look ( blue eyes , blonde, good American boy ) and the character is one dimensional anyway and does not require range at all and just quick look at his post marvel work will show that he is even less versatile and more mediocre than Jensen, however he was smart ,before marvel he used to be in indie movies, romcom and failed blockbusters which help to put him on the map and give apportunites , while marvel wasn't looking for big names they will not hire tv actors either . Now for his marriage , I've noticed just like everybody how awkward they look as a couple and have zero chemistry and then some videos like pregnancy joke video or the WT premiere , he always looked annoyed, visibly cringed with her and sometimes he look straight up disgusted like when she tried to touch his hair , then I digged further here and I wish I dont cause now I dislike him , the fact that he cheated on his gf and backstabbed his friend and for what for this ? Is this the best he could do? Hollywood male actor will usually go for either super hot actresses like scarlett Johansson or black lively or an average one but have great personality and funny / great person and she is neither one these she is average in everything and she is not even nice to him , imagine my surprise when I found out that her acting carrier is consist of her being slutty and naked , I'm laughing bc jensen have no standard or class at all , it's hilarious that he went on SB press ranting that he can't do intimate scenes bc he is a family man when his wife is basically a grorified soft porn actress, he will never be CE bc that man have standard, he didn't tie himself up with tv and he knows that he is a frat boy and not exactly ment to be a family man so he didnt tie himself up with women and children, Jensen on the other hand isn't exactly a family man either but he did it anyway by half assing it and being away most of the time while his wife taking the wheel , and now he want to use this marriage to sell the image of powerful couple , the problem is outside their ig post they can't even pretend to like each other and even when they do like in the recent con they did together they dont have the chemistry of married couples and Jensen looked disgusted when she tried to kiss him , the fact that the happiest they ever looked together is when they were partying , drunk and wasted , tell me everything I want to know about their relationship , and I honestly I dont feel sorry for him for being stuck with a woman that he has zero passion for , it's his carma for being a cheap cheater

Im not done yet but move it thoughts so far (SPOILERS)
I hate this but i'm getting this out of the way right now because i am NOT pointing out every time this happens, but i cannot believe how much unintentional deviantart type shit is in this?? Obviously it's all goofy cartoon gags so it's innocuous in intent but with so many in quick succession it feels like we're checking off boxes here. Kids, there's nothing more cool than drawing characters you like, but if an anonymous stranger ever randomly approaches you asking you to draw "what if ashley was giant haha", THAT'S NO GOOD
One other thing before i get into the individual stages that i thought was weird even back when they released the trailers for this, and i'm being a little fun police about this, is fhat i dont like the implication that this ancient civilization was colonized and converted into a tourist trap. I don't know how i would have fixed this but seeing it all laid out like that is like oh, this feels sucky.
WARIO: I like the callback to smooves in his stage and also that he gets both in and out of trouble by being a massive dick. The new voice......it's gonnna have to grow on me
MONA: Was a little disappointed that she was looking for mermaids instead of like barnacles or something but it's fine, mermaids can be for everyone. Joe is a fucking maniac but i respect him.
THE CRYGORS: really fucking cute. I love the pose mike does when you win. Also, the retroactive cave drawings of each of them are super funny

I enjoyed being able to look inside orbulon's brain. I think that is all i ever wanted to do in a wario game.
One thing i think is highly consistent with his old characterization is that he WOULD instantly welcome people worshipping him like a god
THE ORBULON DAD REVEAL. It's like. See I thought we were going to meet him in person and it would be like a big lore thing but this is literally a joke. I'm ok with a joke. I'm ok with a gaff.
I really appreciated all of the slapstick. If orbulon doesn't eat shit on the concrete is it even worth it
This is in a later cutscene but i'm addressing it here, i simultaneously love and hate the fact that orbulon is depicted sleeping on a lounge chair slurping a drink because i literally drew him doing exactly that in the next camping episode. I'm very happy that we are all in agreement that that is a thing he can do. But mark my words i did it first so you gotta act surprised okay
OK one last thing but i really liked rhe chicken rap
ASHLEY: Just your standard garden variety ashley cutscene. Even on vacation red needs a vacation
THE REMIX BUS: this is my favorite cutscene in the game. Super funny, love the chaos as well as seeing each character fooling around and just hanging out, and mike's singing is melodious. This is the peace all true warriors strive for
CRICKET & MANTIS: I think i said "WHAT" out loud like five times during both of these cutscenes. WHAT!!!!!!!!!
KAT & ANA: Similarly, CRACTUS??!!!?! FROM WARIO LAND??!! I enjoy how many random throwbacks this game has. Also, nice to see the return of leo even though i didnt care about him that much. He's alright
JIMMY T: Beautiful as always. 10/10 no notes
Dribblenspitz: I think there is more raw emotion in dribble's "AW, NUTS" than the entire rest of the game. Love their cutscene
Also love that REPORTER KEN is BACK and i guess he wears contacts now good for him. Love the traditional dribblenspitz sci fi shooter boss

wwait please do tell ur issues with omori if u feel like it. as a somewhat omori enjoyer (<omocat sucks) i wanna see others' opinions as well
ok on my puter here u go. im not gonna write out like. an essay im just gonna list things out in bullet points because thats easier for me so sorry if this is hard to read/understand. quick side note i've played this game around 3 times because i love showing it to people so they can get mad about it with me. i feel like this is important because ive like. actually played the game and not pulling all of this out of a cut down letsplay (also just so no one gets mad at me i pirated it) but also my memory is awful. i am planning to play it again and actively take notes so i can write something more coherent. also putting it under a read more because i didnt realize how much i had to say about this
the story sucks tbh. like its an interesting concept that could have been done in an extremely impactful way but i felt nothing. like i didnt care about mari and i didnt care about sunny because he had like. no personality outside of "silent main character everyone likes". like if you dont care about mari the whole story falls apart. it relies very heavily on you caring about the two of them which is FINE but they do a really bad job of making me actually give a shit.
hero got like fucking nothing in the story and that bothers me like. outside of sunny we should have seen how mari's death impacted him the most because. you know. THEY WERE DATING? but we never get to spend time with hero. like all he is is "the nice one" i wish we got to see. anything with him but i swear they just weren't allowed to have him express emotions that werent extremely mild or something. actually now that i think about it it feels like hero was an after thought in like. everything. his dream word ability is barely used and when it is it feels like anyone could have done it. have it literally just be that he can flip switches is stupid. you could remove hero from the game and it would impact nothing.
AUBREYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY the church confrontation scene was like. GENUINELY GOOD? and then after that they just forget to do anything with her. like it pisses me off how that scene was actually good and the only part that genuinely got me to feel anything and then she just gets nothing. like her "bully" scenes are pretty good and i genuinely sympathized with her but it kind of felt like. you werent supposed to? idk if that makes sense because you totally WERE supposed to feel bad for aubrey but having the kel high fives directly after multiple scene where you make her cry felt so. fucking weird. maybe that was the point idk. aubrey's my favorite character i wish omocat knew how to write
SPEAKING OF KEL. I REALLY REALLY DONT LIKE HOW THE GAME TREATS HIM. he's supposed to be the comic relief but like. EVERY joke is either "kel is gross/stupid" or "aubrey is mean to him for no fucking reason" and it gets old really fast because he's just a kid??? like him and aubrey are just mean to each other thats their whole thing which is FINE i GUESS but its not funny?? its just incredibly mean spirited and not fair to him as a character. why couldnt he have just been silly without the game seemingly hating him for trying to have fun. like most of his moveset is based around being annoying its. its weird man idk.
also the fact this is a fucking item in the game
when i got this for the first time i put my head in my fucking hands man this sucks.
Basil. basil could have been an EXTREMELY interesting character but hes just so. whiny. it gets old really fast. the final fight with him was pretty good i guess. i dont have much to say about him sadly because i just like. dont remember. nothing with him stuck with me. OH WAIT the black space bit where you repeatedly kill him in extremely gruesome ways was. kind of fucking weird. because hes 10. it was unnecessary like if you REALLY wanted the fact that sunny is trying so hard to repress anything that reminds him of what he did to be represented through basil dying you could have just done it a couple times idk. weird scene.
ok moving on from characters the art is. a lot. its very hard to tell the dream world party members apart because omocat just has really bad same fact syndrome, it doesnt help that they all have the same color palettes. speaking of color palettes why do the overworld sprites white wash kel and hero. its less noticeable with hero but like. come on man its not hard to color pick your own art
still on the art the fact everything moves is fun in concept but REALLY distracting in execution. theres been multiple fights (specifically sweetheart, the king crawler and humphrey) where i've gotten awful headaches and had to take a break because i felt sick from all the movement lol. also the animation for releasing energy does NOT help who thought making the screen shake that much was a good idea dear god. like seriously this game needs to have some kind of warning
using sweetheart as an excuse to talk about how the dream world its such a fucking slog. i UNDERSTAND the point is that sunny is doing everything in his power to not reach the truth so he creates roadblocks but oh my goddddddd its so annoying to constantly have the plot take a backseat so we can go to a wedding or go to a casino or GO IN THAT STUPID FUCKING WHALE. the fact that there is a fucking mod that removes the humphrey segment should say enough. like that part in particular was soooooo fucking bad. its so boring. the humphrey fight has THREE FUCKING PHASES. I DONT KNOW WHO THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA BUT THEY SHOULD BE KILLED. ITS AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE
the emotion system is an interesting idea but i wish they did more with it. once you figure out that everyone has one theyre best with you stop playing with them. it stopped being fun to battle because its just make aubrey angry -> make sunny sad -> make kel happy -> have hero do fucking nothing -> hit them. idk maybe they could have had like. special emotions for boss fights?? im not sure how that'd work but i wish they added little twists every now and then to keep all the battles from feeling the same.
the real world isnt much better honestly. all the aubrey shit made me angry and the battles are so weirdly unfair its just not fun. like it doesnt penalize you for losing real world battles but its like. idk they suck. also the fact it doesnt tell you food doesnt heal you in the real world fucked me up when i first played because i was so used to the dream world i spent all my money on soda and then spent the entirety of the real world on like 1 hp

i dont like the black space. like i briefly went over it in the basil segment but it left such a bad taste in my mouth. especially the part where you are seemingly "forced" to cut your fucking cat open as it begs you to free it and the only way to not hurt it is to kill yourself?? ok.
speaking of which the fact the only way to leave the dream world and wake up is to kill yourself complete with a little sound effect is weird to me. idk man omori is 10 im not exactly keen on watching a child kill himself several times.
honestly the games handling of suicide is gross to me. obviously i dont think you should never talk about suicide i think its a very important topic but they way its handled in omori is almost. glorified? idk if that the right word. omori/sunny can kill himself so many times in this game and i just found that a little weird. also basil can kill himself and you can see his body just. sitting there.

my ideal wataru center event
dont like she/her wataru? dont read!
OK. SO.
wataru loooves movies. wataru frequents a movie rental shop, which isnt doing so well in terms of buisness. shes like the only frequent customer. this is of course due to the rise of streaming services, which wataru is quite opposed to, as a movie conissuer (expecially older movies).
the unbloomed is wataru walking out of the movie rental place, happy because shes got an idea for helping keep the shop open! she holds a bag of movies, and says hi to anzu, who wasnt going to stop by the rental shop, but wataru wants to introduce her to the owners so they go in together.
wataru is like "if a movie or tv show is exclusive to streaming services, which many are nowdays, theyre liable to just disappear one day. and disappearing is a fun trick, but not for movies!! movies shouldnt disappear - people put hard work into them, time, money, skill, and most of all, passion!"
anzu is like I Agree Wataru. and anzu rents a movie from her childhood that she hasnt been able to find on any streaming sites. wataru has a far off look on her face when anzu tells her this,
and then we are with fine, and wataru is talking with them about raising awareness about the decline of movie rental shops and the problem of streaming services getting rid of tv shows and movies, virtually erasing them and making it hard to find so many titles... its clear wataru is quite passionate about this, and eichi is all for it too.
fine visit the movie rental shop together, and wataru reveals she went here nearly every week when she was little, even when she didnt have any money to spend she loved looking through all the movies, helping others pick out what to rent, talking to the staff, and it brings her great nostalgia to think about. those were the good old days, before streaming services dominated the movie and tv world.
fine rent a couple movies, some from their childhoods and some theyve never watched before, and then they have a big watchparty with popcorn and snacks (eichis unbloomed he has an enormous pretzel 🥨 and for tori and yuzurus 3 stars unbloomed they have candy 🍬 and popcorn🍿)
watarus movie is one she recalls being her favorite as a kid, but it actually lowkey sucks. the plot makes no sense and parts of the set that shouldnt be visible are visible, a character that she loved as a kid seems really mean now, and no one is laughing at the jokes - because they just arent funny.
toris movie is spy kids. classic! we all loved spy kids!
yuzuru had specifically asked for the newest movie they had, and that was a boring and manufactured very long superhero movie that felt more like pumped out content for money than a work of cinematic art, which wataru was quick to point out.
eichi picked american psycho, to yuzurus dismay, and eichi is like Just jokingggg me and wataru are going to watch it together later tho. I Got Kimetsu No Yaiba Mugen Train!!!!!! and everyones like Yayyy!!!!
later, yuzuru and tori went back to their room, and eichi is taking about how his favorite show is the one wataru starred in as a child. it was mainly a magic show, but wataru also went to different places arround the world and met people who did a variety of impressive things and tried them out. acrobatics, sculpting, baking, soccer, go karting, even drag in one episode, wataru certainly did a lot! she also collected a new mask in nearly every episode. it started when wataru was arround six or seven, and ended when she started middle school.
wataru says she tries to only think about the fun parts of doing that show, but there was a lot of turmoil behind the scenes, and often she didnt want to do it at all. was she mistreated? well, probably. but we are all mistreated as children, no? wataru takes solace in the fact that eichi loved her show, and it brought smiles to him and many other children. theres nothing anyone can do to go back in time and fix child watarus life, so wataru doesnt dwell on it.
fine has been working on their new song, and they were going to do a simple mv, but wataru is like Lets Put More Amazing Into This!!! and it develops into a super flashy carnival themed video with a totally banger song, starring lots of birds, and fine, going arround and winning every carnival game and making carnival snacks for one another. it ends with everyone on a ferris wheel, joyous and united!
also eichi gives the movie rental shop a shit ton of money LOL problem solved
the outfits are like. rainbow and metallic and wataru has her hair in double braids tied with ribbons and everyone else has some sort of fun hat Ok Byeeeee i might remove the tags lol

ok here is my objectively correct ranking of chandler groover fl stories (sorry there was a recent study independently conducted by me that determined my subjective opinion of fl is actually objectively correct)
1. Cricket, Anyone? - yeah, I'm basic. what about it. everyone talks about how the lore reveal is cool (and it is) but also more importantly: its funny. i love when fallen london has jokes
2. Por Una Cabeza - this one is actually tied for first. i think cricket is more ICONIC (and funnier overall) but I think this one might be a stronger narrative. Which one is actually in first depends entirely on which one i thought about most recently
3. Paisley - it was hilarious that right around when this story came out, which is all about making outfit changes to unlock more story, fbg tried to do the outfit lock thing. lol. perhaps even lmao.
4. Codename: Sugarplum - I don't think you could conceive of an animal that i would be less interested in trying to help than a miniature dachshund. but this story was pretty fun anyway
5. SALON SCANDAL! - A little creativity in presentation goes a long way when youre playing a bunch of exceptional stories in quick succession, and a story that is a flashback to not long after you arrived in London, where you not only get to choose your own choices, but what is at least publicly considered to be The Truth of the situation? That's fun! That's novel! I even like the fact that you don't ever get to learn what ACTUALLY happened- did you lie to the reporter? Did you tell the truth? Does it matter? What you told him is what people know. That's functionally the truth. But this one gets points off for deciding my character's motivations for me in the end, and also because the base story is kinda boring.
6. my kingdom for a pig - sorry for being a big thicky bo-bo but this one gets points off for the whole ending sequence being confusing to me. There's a particular style of writing that shows up a lot in FL where things are evocatively written, but vague and abstract. Some people really like this. That's why SMEN is popular, and people claimed to have enjoyed Flint. I think it sucks! My brain just slides right off them because I can't find something concrete to actually hang onto. I managed to grasp what was happening in this one a little better than other examples of this style of writing (see: Flint, which is my nemesis and I will not rest until I see it slain) but it's still a little off-putting to me and I don't enjoy it. Also I can't stop thinking about the way that FL tells you about it's lore, which is to say, it doesn't really. What the fuck is a Stone Pig? I mean, I know because I read the wiki, but what if I was just trying to learn about FL by playing it? Where does this come up? I think it's just in Sunless Sea, and here. And maybe a little mention in the Taste of Lacre stuff? idk. i also think the stone pigs lore is so rarely brought up that it seems kind of superfluous to the fallen london lore. i dont really know what's added by there being another animal that lives on/in the bazaar that propels it through the high wilderness. i would have just assumed that was like. a power it had. "How does the bazaar travel between stars?" is not a question i would have asked because i would have assumed it can just. do that.
7. caveat emptor - i was really on board with this one when i started it, because i was like "oh cool its like fallen london dracula!!! i love it when they do classic lit in the exceptional stories" but i think it kinda got up its own ass with its own lore, and lost the Dracula energy and also didn't have any of the humor that I really liked in the best groover stories
7. the hurlers/discordance storyline - remember above, when I said that I don't like the poetic but vague style of writing that is common in fl?? Yeah. the discordance stuff is also easier for me to follow than Flint but it is, unfortunately, kind of annoying. its all like "you DONT walk up the stairs and you DONT go into the anchoress's kitchen and you CERTAINLY ABSOLUTELY DO NOT eat all her doritos and then leave the bag on the counter" like ok i get it. youre being so obscure and mysterious. heres a medal. can we just get to the story already.
9. the crocodile who would be king - what even happened in this one. what was i trying to achieve. im sure all you smarty smart heads are gonna read this and be like 'UMMMMM irrigos it was VERY clear" but please consider the fact that i am disabled and also i am dumb and cant read. why am i here? why did this ask me to help? what am i even trying to help them do? why did this story take like 100 actions? i liked the fact that there was a nemesis tie in at the end though. thats always a hoot.

least favorite thing to draw
LOL there are so many things I don't like to draw... backgrounds... cars... guns... the list goes on and on... (not quite related but. perhaps you've noticed that despite my voluminous contributions to birdmen fanart in recent times I've casually dodged out of drawing the birds transformed time and time again. there's a reason for that. it's too hard. the markings drive me insane and the wings make creating compositions hell on earth </3)
But! If I had to pick ONE thing that I dislike more than all others, I would probably choose complex cityscapes! More organic landscapes I can just freehand, at least to a certain degree, but cityscapes require a more refined use of perspective and idk. me and the CSP rulers kind of have a long-standing rivalry, I still don't like it that much, which makes cityscapes a huge pain
how many different sketches do you usually have until your piece is finished
LOL... if I have more than one sketch before I do the linework I'm already like "that's way too much". I'm super impatient...
Like for Breaking Stasis I basically used my storyboards as the rough sketch (don't do this lol) because I needed to go fast. Here's a couple of examples...
I went from this kinda messy sketch (storyboards as well in a certain sense) directly to the clean lines. idk what's wrong with me tbh. I'm just lazy I guess
It also depends on how well I can draw the character in question. Like my birds?? from birdmen??? I could probably draw rei eishi takayama and umino pretty well freehanded (kamoda. my bald son kamoda. you're so hard to draw. the line between A bald guy and MY bald guy is razor thin and I often end up on the wrong side of the line)
If I've never drawn the character before? Lollll I probably have to do more detailed drawings...
Sometimes my sketches will be my final as well LMAO. just depends <3

It's cause I have a hard time keeping them all in scale with each other (and STILL I failed to take into account how the various platform boots would change their heights. dont think about this too hard please don't think about this too hard), and also because these aren't outfits I'm used to drawing (so not collared shirts or suits, basically...) I had to do a rough and a clean before the final
so yeah anywhere from 0-2, 3 if we're REALLY pushing it (the question asked how many sketches, not how many layers... I do have more layers but I consider them all part of the same sketch)
how long do you usually take on a piece
LMAO THIS IS SUCH A HARD QUESTION. WHAT IS "A PIECE". DEFINE A PIECE.
The fastest stuff are my MS Paint doodles like he is eating raw cloves of garlic like jellybeans or food service Shichiro. I spend no more than 10 or 15 minutes TOPS per illustration on these. like I'm moving fast okay. it's like milk left out in the kitchen it's gonna go bad and stop being funny if I spend too long on it!!!
The next fastest would be short comics in the same spirit as the MS Paint doodles except it's just. not in MS paint it's in CSP instead. like does eishi support birdmen rights or takaeishi horror movie night. I think the cap for these are probably closer to like, 20 minutes per illustration/panel. but these are also almost explicitly always for funnies and again. the joke spoils if I spend too long on it!! gotta be quick!! gotta be speedy!!!
the next fastest stuff is probably colored sketches like Kekkaishi dress sketches or Shinichi birthday kisses. the time starts to get more variable as the complexity changes.. I think maybe an hour to an hour and a half for these?
Beyond that I have to split things up into multiple sittings and it gets harder to time them. Lined and colored artwork maybe takes... four to ten hours on average?? Like for Yoshitoki vibes, ganbare shinichi-kun, and the Lower One's Eyes thumbnail. I'm guessing around 15-20 hours for lineless paintings like Conductor Robin and Reieishi Tattoo Kiss? (<- idk the ship name for them because I don't think it exists actually)
For actual like. big projects. idk how to even measure that chief!! Breaking Stasis was completed in 2 months but I was working my ass off that entire time. like close to the end, like the last week or two I was basically drawing the entire day to crank it out. I don't know how many that is, but hundreds, perhaps? LOL
The music videos too, they're taking up QUITE a chunk of time but I have no idea how to measure that LMAO. oops </3

I'm gonna be honest. Despite a few small things (and how hard leo is on himself) I absolutely adore the 03 gang. I'm disappointed it's all serious shit all the time though. Sure there's a bit of goofing around and such. But not at the same level I was under the impression I'd get. I suppose this is a different iteration. Some people actually prefer the silliness to stay very limited. I don't know. I guess litte mx. doesn't like violence should stay out of cartoons with lots of action hm?

how to write traumatized characters— the revamp
i know i know… you’ve seen this a million times. but i personally haven’t a version along the lines of this, and in my (very very humble and not aggressive) opinion, that other post did not mention a key point in trauma, especially when approaching traumatic characters in literature.
so here goes.
the only rule for writing trauma:
no one goes through the exact same trauma quite the same way.
i know, this should be obvious to everyone. but still:
not everyone has no idea what their trauma is.
not everyone hasn’t recovered from trauma.
not everyone feels the same towards it.
that’s because we’re all different.
i notice that in media most of the time there’s a very… one track (?) version of traumatized characters portrayed. and i’m not going to sit here and say no one goes through trauma that way— they do— but it also sends out a wrong message that either you respond to your trauma that way or you simply don’t have it.
take me for example (hello :)!). i, like many, have gone through a lot. i can sit here and say for the most part what i’ve been through— however no, i’m not recovered. i’m honestly quite embarrassed of it. i don’t think about it constantly but when i do i quite simply try distance myself from it mentally because that’s easier. i don’t have any stress relievers (especially not physically) because most of the time i try to avoid thinking about it (unless that counts as a stress reliever? i think of it more as a coping mechanism).
sometimes i feel one very specific way about it, but other times, i’m like well… that happened.
and that is okay!!!!!!!
the level of a characters reaction to traumatic events does not dictate the level of trauma the event was in itself. yes, with the more severe the trauma, generally the reaction may be more severe…. but that is not always the case.
and to be honest, there is no one way to write a traumatized character. the best way to do so is to research (sites like reddit, where actual, real traumatized people can tell you about it) or learn from yourself even (i find a lot of my characters have trauma responses like me… coincidence….?).
so here are some quick tips:
when writing, (hear me out) let yourself focus more on subtle telling than shallow showing. don’t show me visually that a character is anxious because they bite their nails, tell me the how they falter in their step when they see someone who looks like someone they remember.
subsequently: try not to make it obvious tells when you’re showing. a character biting their nails and looking side to side when someone mentions a triggering subject is as good as telling us exactly what’s going on
focus on internal more than external. go deep into your characters inner fears and beliefs— don’t tell me why they have those beliefs, show me small previews of the things they dislike and how certain things may trigger a memory
a character may not speak happily about it, but that doesn’t mean they won’t speak about it at all (this also doesn’t mean that them speaking about it is like free therapy— talking about it doesn’t make it better a lot of the time)
also: the character may not show signs of it, but that doesn’t mean the character doesn’t know what their trauma is/dont know that they have trauma at all
it’s okay to write characters who have recovered from trauma, in fact i’d say it’s just as important as writing characters who have not
treat trauma like the subject it is. just because you’re not constantly having a character think about it doesn’t mean it’s any less serious. don’t make a joke of it please (i know in this day and age it’s satirized (which honestly makes me sad) but it is not funny, not pleasant, and not something to be jested about. it’s also not cool and doesn’t make anyone ‘cool’) research where you need to. don’t hand out trauma to characters like free coupons/just because you can— it comes off disingenuous and really demeaning
this really all boils down to making characters where even if they are foil characters (God bless i don’t know what to call them in regular non-script formatted writing) you know that the author (you in this case) has spent a lot of time crafting them. of course there’s limited ‘screen time’ for side characters but please still spend time fleshing all your characters out even if by the end we don’t know exactly what their trauma is :) happy writing.

Quackity sat in his chair currently streaming right now, he seemed like he was having a good time from your spot on his bed. You were currently laying on his bed after he invited you here to relax.
You two had laid in his bed just enjoying eachothers company until he got a call from Tommy saying he was ready for the lore stream which sent Alex into a frenzy. Alex sent out a quick "Im sorry" about the lateness of his stream and then quickly set everything up.
He then started to stream which left you alone on the the bed to your own devices. You were scrolling through Twitter looking at Alex's fans talk about what's happening on the stream and posting screenshots of his character and himself.
You admired him from afar as he ended the lore part of his stream, he took time to type on his phone to text you that he decided to stream longer to talk to his fans. He looked to you and you have him a nod with a smile and he gave one back.
"Hey guys! That's the end of the lore!" He exclaimed to his chat as he types at his computer setting a new background.
You continued to listen to him praise his chat for supporting him and making him be able to make those types of streams. You were always proud of Alex no matter what he did, you were always his number one supporter no matter what happened in reality or on the internet.
"So anyways! I wanted to talk to you guys! How are you all?" He smiled at his camera looking back and forth from his chat.

"Oh thank you! Im glad I could share this with you. It takes so much to put into these movite type streams, so I know now it is all worth it."
Quackity's pov. . .
He felt so overwhelmed, he shouldn't have began to stream again. The stress of putting everything together, plus being late to the stream made him rush into it more. He just wanted to lay back down with his lover who was enjoying watching him stream, and that's the goal he wants. His goal was to entertain, it was his job and he doesn't want to fail, he doesn't want to crack.

"Happy Birthday!" He said seeing the comment pass in a second. "Happy Birthday to anyone who's Birthday it is today."
Right now it was hard. It was hard to keep up when there was always a constant demand, the constant need to be perfect, his past being brought up, and trying to one-up his content everytime. He loved this, but at the same time it had the same weight as a job.
In the back of his mind he knew the "When is Quackity streaming???" is mostly lighthearted, he never wants to leave.
"Quack are you okay? Im fine! Just thinking about how to get something to eat at 2am." He laughed lying to his fans, he wanted to stop this stream.
He kept looking over to his lover lying their head on his pillow scrolling through their phone and alternating their vision from him and their phone. He always caught a glimpse of their small smile everytime he looked. He was doing something right.
"Do yall think Taco Bell is open? The only problem I have is that Im fucking starving."
He paused for a moment taking a deep breath trying to keep his emotions down. The stress was getting to him, and he fucking knew it, but he didnt stop. He was going to get burnt out eventually and stop streaming and YouTube all together, but he needed this. He needed a break, he needed to take time for himself and stop putting on a happy face when he isnt.
TTS ◇pulixsaxe: "Did you see what was happening on Twitter quackity?"
"Wait what's happening on Twitter?" He asked with a weary laugh.

The truth is, my biggest problem's you,
Your eyes widened as he mentioned Twitter. Truth be told he was trending because of his stream, yes, but also they brung up stuff from his past again in the wake of another content creator's past or present being brought up. You hadn't paid attention to that, you were only getting fueled up from Twitter bringing up an issue that he already had addressed.
Tempted to speak and tell him its fine, he already spoke up before you.
"I bet it's fine! I dont wanna... I don't need to look." He said with a smile. He always had that smile on.
Either it was a full smile or a half smile. It never left his face and it comforted you somehow. Maybe it was that you were his significant other, but you always wondered if anyone saw the same things as you. The things like his smile that never left his face.
"Yeah! I dont need to look at that." He waved his hand dismissing the comment away. He then sighed letting his shoulders relax as you saw his smile fade and his eyes close for a second and immediately put that small smile back on his face while his eyes were glossy, but bright.
He needed to end this stream soon. You saw his face fall then in a split second come back to life except his eyes were glossy with tears. You wondered if anyone else noticed.
"I want to please you
But I want to stay true to myself
I want to give you the night out that you deserve"
His eyes tearful as he tried to blink them away trying to not make a scene.
"Sorry! Allergies ugh!" He said as he wiped his tears away claiming them as allergies.
"Are you crying? No! Im not a pussy!" He yelled at his chat in a joking manner.
He was crying and he felt weak. He felt emotionally weak, and weak as in not strong, he didn't feel strong and his lover who was sitting on his bed with a concerned look on their face always told him that it's okay to feel weak. The only meaningful thing is how you pick yourself up, they always told him, bur now he felt at rock bottom.
He wanted to give his fans "himself", the goofy, lovable, loud, quick-witted, Quackity. But then again his lover always told him to separate Quackity from Alex. He wanted to give himself to his audience, he wanted to be authentic and share himself, but he cant. Alex isn't all laughs, he is serious, calmer, and when he gets on the screen is when he lets it all out then goes back to his more calmer self. That's not what they want.
"But I want to say what I think
And not care what you think about it"
Giving himself meant dialing back, he wants to tell how hes actually feeling, he wants to say what he thinks about Twitter, what he thinks about certain friends, about his fanbase, and then leave it alone. He wanted to delete social media and then speak his mind without knowing what anyone is saying about it. It was paradise to him, but of course it cant be that way and that's what he hates. He feels like a actor when he really wants to be himself.
"A part of me loves you,"
Alex loved his fanbase, he had such a supportive fanbase that loved his content. Some of them did atleast he didn't fully know, but they gave him the courage to do this time and time again knowing that his content is at least taking them from the harsh reality of real life for a few minutes or hours. This was the reason he did this, for them.
Alex would never admit this but they boosted his ego too, it would for anyone. The fact that there were people who wanted and enjoyed content from him made him feel good about himself.
"part of me hates you"
He hated the contant criticisms, he hates that they feed his ego so much that it makes him want to stream more to feel good about himself and to make people get away for awhile. Alex knew inside of his heart he couldn't truly hate his fanbase, they gave him everything he ever wanted. He hates them for that and that's such a scary thing. He never fails to wonder if he did the things to deserve all the love and hate he gets.
"Part of me needs you,"
They feed his ego, they make him want to go above and beyond. Alex knows that his fanbase is the reason he is here in this chair infront of three expensive monitors. He knows that this is some sort of a job that he needed. He needed the push to keep going and that was them, it was the 200k people watching his stream watching him answer questions about him and
"part of me fears you"
He was fearful of loosing himself to them. Loosing his authenticity to them was something he feared. He didnt want his funny, loud persona to consume him and make him forget about Alex instead of Quackity. He fears what they think as well, he claims he doesnt care, but he does he wants to please them. It feels like two parts of his brain fighting about if he should care or not.
"And I don't think that I can handle this right now"
The text-to-speech bot continued to speak out people's comments that theu paid for while he sat there quietly. He bit his bottom lip trying to not break down infront of everyone he needed to be strong. He needed to be strong.
If he looked up at the camera everyone would see his tears, they would see him breaking.
He played it off as he brough his shirt up to wipe the tears away, claiming it as sweat.
"Im good! Im sorry I spaced out for a second." He shook his head.
He saw you look at him with that same concerned look on your face. As he switched his gaze between you and his computer, he felt his tears come back again.
"I don't think that I can handle this right-"
"Alex." You tried to get his attention.
"Yeah guys Im fine!"
"Alex"
"I don't think that I can handle this right-"
"I have plans later for another lore stream, so Ill start doing that later tonight."
"ALEX!" You yelled and his head turned around to face you.
"What?" He laughed, biting his lip again.
You couldn't stop him doing this, you could try to course him into going to bed, but right now you couldn't find the words. You just stared at him while he looked at you with a somber smile trying to tell you that he was okay.
He felt his mind telling himself that he need to rest. He wouldnt allow himself to and thats why he was breaking down.
"I don't think that I can handle this right-"
Alex was blinking rapidly trying to keep his breathing and tears at bay while he answered his fans.
"My allergies are fine! And I drank water today."

You had sent a quick text to Alex which told him to end the stream for his own mental health, but he left the message unread. He began sniffing and the wiping his eyes again. It was a wreck and you couldn't seem to stop it without literally dragging him out of his chair.
Meanwhile the screens were getting to Alex. Alex's eyes were getting tired of the bright screens and the rapid messages that popped up on the screen overwhelmed him for what it seemed like the first time ever in his strraming career. He wanted to give them the fun night they deserved and wanted, but he knows it's getting hard to. He dosent know how long he can keep this up.
As Alex kept joking around about his eyes and physical state the chat was filled with "LMAO" and "HAHAHA" which fuled him more and then at the same time makes him want to stop.
Look at them, they're just staring at me, like

He cannot give himself the luxury of happiness. As he went on with his career it became more and more like a chore, there was mostly down days and of course there were up days, but recently Alex gave his fans the happiness and laughes they wanted while when he turned off the camera he couldn't replicate that same energy as he had before.
It messed him up, he felt himself become separated from his streaming. He wasn't being himself anymore he was being Quackity and that became more apparent as the days passed. He wanted to be himself on camera and at first thats what he thought he was doing. He was himself then it turned into a persona.
Alex wasn't okay and he he needed to take a break from the internet for a while, but he tries to act like he dosent have a dilemma going on inside of his head everytime he sits in this seat. Its for the fans.
"Think that I can handle this right-

"Alex you need to end the stream. Please?"
He looked towards you again where you moved your position from the middle of the bed to sitting up on the end of the bed.
"Ive told you millions of times." He paused for a moment looking down at his lap before looking back up to you. "Im-Im okay." He nodded trying to convince you.
"But I know I'm not a doctor, I'm a pussy, I put on a silly show
I should probably just shut up and do my job, so here I go"
"Cant you belive them!" He laughed to his camera. You scoffed at his comment but still kept an eye on him as he talked.
You didnt need to baby him at all, but right now you were worried about your lover.
Alex continued talking and talking, which you drowned out. You were focused on his face and how he faltered time to time just showing a small frown.
He laughed and showed them a good time even though he was hurting. He kept going and going and you were convinced he was going to hold out until you heard him sniff multiple times while trying to make a joke about the new Minecraft update and how the glow squid has no use.
"Stupid ass squid! Why- why? Its no use expect for glowing ink. Who voted for that!?"
You can tell them anything if you just make it funny, make it rhyme
And if they still don't understand you, then you run it one more time
"Dumbass squid!" He pulled up a picture if the squid as he yelled at it.
You began to worry even more as you saw tears running down his face. He quickly tried to wipe them away, but he knew everyone saw.

Alex leaned back in his seat and had a blank stare towards the monitor. Looked down for a second and then you heard sobbing coming from his spot. Alex had his head in his hands and was crying harshly into them.
He had finally broken, he couldn't stop the tears from coming and the loud sobs that came from his mouth. He was trying to desperately breathe in to be able to sob, but ended up hiccuping while doing so.
Your eyes widened as you rushed to him resting your hand on his knees and you kneeling infront of him.
"I cant do fu-fucking anything!" He yelled into his hands.
"Hey! I know. Its okay." You tried to console him.
"Its not I try so hard! And I-"
You cut him off. "You are a hard worker Alex and you deserve a week or two off. Take care of you self babe." You stood up bringing his hand with you and trying to make him stand up. He followed your movements and stood up with you putting his head on your shoulder crying into it.
"I just ca-cant right now!"
"You dont have to do anything right now babe."
"Im sorry!" Alex sobbed.
"Dont be." You said bluntly trying to get your lover to calm down.
You rubbed his back soothingly as he sniffled into your shoulder. "Im sorry for ruining your shirt." He tried to laugh through his tears.
"Dont be sorry! Please. You just need rest okay?" You kissed his forehead and he nodded in response.
Alex raised his head up an started to pepper kisses all over your face as you laughed. He gave you one last peck on the lips as he walked away to quickly change into night clothes. You smiled as he laid underneath the covers and continued to softly cry into his sheets. At least he was in bed and not makijg himself even worse.
He couldn't stop the tears from flowing, it was like a flood that could only be stopped with time. He felt like a boulder was lifted off his shoulders only to be replaced with smaller rocks. The smaller rocks was the guilt he held. He felt guilty of making his lover worry about him, he didnt want you to worry.
You rushed over to his desk and turned off the stream and his computers not even bothering to give them a goodnight or goodbye. After the computer lights were turned off it was quite dark in the room except for small light.
Finally you were where you wanted to be all day, in bed with Alex. But this wasnt the predicament you wanted.
"Forgive me. I just cant do shit right can I?" His eyes were still full of tears and he was getting tired.
"Alex dont listen to anyone but yourself." You tried to console him.
"That's what I'm telling myself."
Silence filled the room as you looked at him through tearful eyes of your own.
"Alex, you're so amazing and I cant even tell you how much I appreciate you, and how much you change my life. You do so much shit right its scary sometimes. Some days I think you're perfect, but there's-"
"There's no such thing as perfect." Alex finished your sentence.
"Exactly! Even the best people have their downfalls, they just dont show it. And Alex I know you struggle with that! All I can say is that I love you for you." You finished.
"Can I talk to you about my dilemmas?" He tried to laugh again.
"Tomorrow we can talk. We both need the rest." You said to him as he closed his eyes and nodded in response. He gave you a kiss on you lips before laying back down to sleep.
"Thank you."

randall rambling time (Long warning)
i love randy! hes super fun and genuinely a good hero! aside from standard ninja duties (aka putting himself at risk to protect the town), there are plenty of times hes gone the extra mile with his selflessness! my favorites are the times where he benefits more from being selfish and still does the right thing purely out of the good of his heart <3
especially the times where hes not obligated to by ninja duties!! like when he and howard snuck out to see a movie, he couldve totally gotten away with it and left heidi in trouble with her parents but fessed up for her sake. it wouldve been so much easier to not say anything, to just walk away and be free of consequence but it wouldve made an innocent person take the fall for something he did, so he told the truth instead!
plus hes super silly and funny and he seems like a cool guy to be friends with :) i love the way he says satchel sometimes?? my type of humor fr! i also love that he makes silly jokes and one liners all the time,, sometimes hes a very cool hero and sometimes hes just a silly little ninja and we love that about him
but he is so very stupid,, yeah hes just a highschooler but he was trusted with an 800 year old ninja mask and book and given dozens of weapons, he could really afford to use his brain a little bit more yknow??
nearly every single episode he asks the nomicon for help only to horribly misunderstand it, often assuming its agreeing with him for some reason? the mental gymnastics this kid does... the nomicon is so very obvious sometimes and he still manages to get it completely wrong like. bro. if the doodles in your sentient(??) book are facepalming at your conclusion i think you might wanna reconsider
never forget the time nomicon literally said "dont go in someone elses house" and randy went "well mcfist doesnt have a house he has a mansion.. so i should totally go inside". or the time it said "an enemy at peace should be left at peace" and he was like "yes thank you! ill never be at peace with mcfist here" and then went out of his way to antagonize mcfist.. randall please
disclaimer this isnt like. a legit criticism of randys character it just physically hurts how dumb he can be sometimes qwq i think the jokes about how he gets even the most blatant advice wrong are funny! yet youd think with how often he misinterprets the nomicon, he would try to think a little more before running off having only taken the words at face value...
at least he learns from his mistakes!! every time he realizes he messed up, he does try to correct it! he apologizes when he needs to, he owns up to his behavior! it was especially sweet when he destanked rachael by parodying her appreciation song back to her :(( for the most part, randy learns from his experiences and it shapes him into a better ninja, and a better person as a whole
and while that wouldve been a great place to leave it, i do wanna mention howards bad influence real quick, particularly in the snowklahoma episode. randy made the choice to bring julian with them bc julian was freaked out (understandably so after ghoulian almost got him (but he was too shaken to communicate that properly imo)). howards annoyed and their plans didnt account for an extra person so julian kind of gets in the way but then they just??? abandon him in an ice maze????
julian made it very clear he was afraid to be alone!! he literally said "bad things happen when im alone" he is visibly anxious everytime he gets left alone!! and they leave him in the most isolated place they probably couldve!! randy is partially at fault for agreeing to ditch julian, but howard takes most of the blame for convincing randy in the first place. i bet if it werent for howard, randy wouldve found a solution that wasnt so cruel. like at the very least they couldve sent julian to hang out with someone else!
julian seemed so happy just to be included :( and the One Thing he wanted was to not be alone! how many times does a guy gotta say "im afraid, dont leave me alone, i dont wanna be alone, bad things happen when im alone" before you stop leaving him alone??? mans got so much trauma bc of howard (and randy, to a degree. still dont know why he ever thought bringing the power ball to julians party was a good idea)

This is an old post of mine from a little over a year ago. I still like it so im going to post it here. @hekatekun you are briefly mentioned towards the end since this was posted on fb heheheehehh
Small rambly post about Osomatsu and how he's the dominant personality
Osomatsu is usually one of people’s least favorite brother. Totty is almost always last but Osomatsu is usually second to last, because again people don’t know what to do with him. Osomatsu has gone up in popularity quite a bit over the years, especially since the show has started to make him interact with Kara+Ichi a lot more. We have their dynamics clearly shown to us with the two fan favorites, and it turn Osomatsu benefits from that.
But people still don’t quite get him. Even if you don’t think he’s boring he lacks a gimmick. He’s usually the “plain” brother. But thats whats so interesting about him!!!!! THIS IS AN OBJECTIVE FACT!!!!! OSOMATSU IS AN INTERESTING CHARACTER!!!!! IF YOU DON’T THINK HE’S INTERESTING YOU MISSED THE POINT OF HIS CHARACTER!
A few days ago I made a chart as a joke explaining that Osomatsu is the blueprint for everyone else because he is. For a long time Osomatsu led them, and I imagine until late middle school/early highschool the other five never bothered branching out. They were all carbon copies of osomatsu. They were when they were 10. I have no reason to believe they also wouldn’t follow him until they realize *its weird* to have five identical brothers and also act Exactly the same. They were doing the identical act up until highschool!! Only when they were ostracized by their peers did they see being identical and being so tightly interwoven with each other a bad thing. They reconciled as adults, and now that tight web has turned into a complicated mess that none of them want to deal with.
You can basically break down Osomatsu to THREE traits, as shown in the chart. There is more to him but if you really need a quick summary its those three.
Now u might be thinking depressed? Osomatsu isn’t depressed!! Because im calling my fucking sister out right now who looked at me like i was fucking crazy when i suggested osomatsu is depressed. Because he is. He’s just good at repressing his emotions. His *true* emotions, the ones that require him to not act like a petty asshole. The ones that require him to think critically. He doesnt want to think about it! He doesnt want to grow up! Hes emotionally immature and he wants to be comfortable for as long as he can put off abstract concepts such as “the real world” and “being an adult”.
We are shown he hasn’t changed at ALL since highschool and its been at Least 5 years since he’s graduated highschool. But its probably closer or past 10. And is still literally the same.
Hes so selfish and needy that he is WILLING TO TAKE YOU DOWN WITH HIM! TO PRESERVE HIS OWN FEELINGS ABOUT A SITUATION. Its his way or the highway. And thats how he treats his brothers. Thats why s1e24 felt so black and white. Everyone was yelling like “why dont they just live together! They dont have to separate like that!” And thats obvious to like real people lol but not to these manchildren.....not these guys who
A.) have no frame of reference. They dont know how to be adults and
B.) have such toxic dependency on each other that they feel the only way to “grow up” is to be alone despite that being bad for their mental health...
And it was...because they ended up coming back home the next episode. Yeah episode 25 was played off as a joke but if osomatsu was 15% more serious we wouldve seen them come back anyways. Staff just likes to play hehe funny pranks and not give us any serious conclusions to nearly anything.

Mars explained this really nicely and ive been thinking about it ever since: Osomatsu is the original (and dominant) personality, and the other five are struggling (and failing) to get out from under his shadow. I wouldnt say he’s a tyrant, but both Episode 24s, and their focus on Osomatsu specifically.......its obvious hes a huuge part of the reason for the rest of the matsu’s characterization. Despite there being no real reason for it, what Osomatsu says goes. There’s so much bickering because it was like that for a long time and Osomatsu still is an instigator.

- “can’t propose without a ring shoyo! where are yer manners??”
- hinata actually gets down on one knee and proposes with the ring pop and you’re so red because at this point the entire stadium is watching
