This was the ninth- no.... tenths loop. He is eating his breakfast and he is dizzy again. Because Mom drugged his oatmeal, because Mom and Dad knew! Danny stood up from his chair and tried to leave the kitchen. (He knew it wouldn't work, it never worked) His eyes grew heavy and a few steps later he hit the ground.

He wakes up to the same gruesome picture as in the last nine loops. But Danny doesn't beg anymore. Or says anything. It hurts, but it's nothing he hasn't had felt before. It would only take them a week before they would destroy his core again and then everything would start anew. Maybe he could think of something better for next time.

The last feeling he remembered was an all encompassing pain, as his Dad crushed his core. But he was at the breakfast table again, already feeling groggy. But maybe this time he could get help? He knew that he could fight the drugs for around ten minutes, as long as he didn't stand up.

So instead he got his phone out of his pocket. He knew that neither his sisters, nor his friends would be fast enough, he already tried them, but maybe someone else could be fast enough.

He opened Twitter and started to write a new post, ignoring his atrocious spelling in favor of getting as many information out as possible.

He was able to press send, before his vision would become to spotty. Now he just needed to hope that the fastest man alive would be able to help him. Danny's head fell on the table.

It was the eleventh time he woke up to the same scene and this time he couldn't do anything against his tears. He would die again... and again and again...

Danny's spiraling thought were interrupted by the basement door, that had hit the wall. This was new!

You know when you have a dream and you remember it so clearly upon waking and it's so incredibly tender and soft and more gentle than anything you'll ever experience in the waking world?? And then you have to carry that grief with you throughout the day, on top of all the regular heavy sadness??

Bonus points if, like me, your dreams are normally half-remembered and vaguely unsettling, if rarely actually outright nightmares. I sleep heavily and frequently but I don't really sleep /well/, or not well enough to ever be truly rested.

What’s the farthest you’ve traveled out of your hometown? My sis is currently on her way to Washington D.C for a field trip, we live in Ohio and from here it’s about a 9 hour drive

A few different directions. I live in the very NW parts of Washington State, and I've been down to Arizona a few times in my life-- about 22-24 hours worth of driving. That's probably the furthest distance-wise I've been. (Although I also used to live in Texas, I am taking this question in relation to where I live currently.)

I've been pretty high up into B.C. (Canada) a few times as well, and into the islands too where ferrying can take quite a few hours.

Oh! And in about a month, I will be visiting two states I've never been to before-- Into Montana and Wyoming to visit family. Really excited to go through the Rockies, I've only ever seen them from a distance in Idaho. This will be the second longest distance traveled for me, as it takes about 16-17 hours to get to our Wyoming destination.

I probably elaborated a little more than you asked for, but I really love traveling!

#eastern washington is my faaaavorite place to go #over to spokane about 7-8 hours out. the journey is beautiful #going through mountains and then canyons and then flat nothingness is just the coolest fucking thing #i wanna be able to visit every state one day #right now i have washington oregon california arizona new mexico texas and idaho checked off #basically all of the west coast + the adjacent #anyway i hope your sister had a fun time on her field trip!#i only ever went on one long distance field trip into the islands off the shore of washington #for a week long camping trip. HATTTTED it but thats bc i had so many medical issues at the time it was just a miserable experience #what i would give to revisit and try again though....... man

Alright I'm knee-deep in essays but just heard this again and honestly I have never heard a piece of music so appropriately titled. It's called 'Musette for a Magpie'- I can see some magpies out of the window strutting their stuff in the garden right now and generally acting like the bird equivalents of a cockney spiv, and well, those lads are definitely Characters.

#Has this week affected my brain? Yes but I'm right #If magpies could sell me some fake watches that fell off the back of a lorry for an outrageous price that they claim is a deal #while sporting the thinnest sleaziest moustache ever and talking like Flash Harry #They would #But also it's a lot more endearing in bird form so I love them #(Except somehow according to this music they're in Paris?
