AN: I wrote this "drabble" I know this is too long for a drabble but leave me alone lol during the resonance era and this blog was nothing but a blog i only really use for reading when i wondered how would be NCT ot23 going to be as a friend with you being drunk.

As a celebration for the successful promotion of NCT 2020 Resonance, everyone decided to rent a private villa that could accommodate all 24 of you and a few managers.

Johnny and Taeil planned the whole get together meaning there would be liquor and a karaoke machine. You know half of the group are heavy drinkers and the other half drink occasionally. Even Jisung, who just turned legal, already had his first champagne and first soju.

You on the other hand still have a virgin liver. You haven't tasted a single drop of alcohol yet and you're embarrassed to admit that so you pretended that you're a casual drinker.

You sat in between Jeno and Jaemin, the two people you know who wouldn’t hand you a drink, but to your bad luck Ten is seated in front of you and handed you shot after shot. Sometimes Jeno and Jaemin are taking the shots for you but you always insist that you can drink them yourself. You may try to hide it, but everyone here knows you don't drink and Ten is being cheeky for calling your bluff.

10 whiskey shots later and 7 glasses of coke for your chaser, you stopped seeing the world normally. You thought your head was up but they're definitely leaning on Jaemin’s shoulder now. Everyone is laughing at you but they all share a concerning look.

Ten was about to hand you another shot when Kun stopped him. “Stop giving her drinks. She can't handle her alcohol.”

“I wasn't really going to give it to her. I'm just teasing her.” Ten explained.

“Well stop teasing her because she keeps drinking everything you hand her.” Doyoung butted in.

“Okay somebody help me I'm going to barf-” Jisung went up and ran to the nearest bathroom making Chenle roll his eyes to the back of his head and followed his friend that is currently throwing his gut out in the toilet. Doyoung followed them after.

You snapped your head to follow the sight of Jisung running across the room, but you quickly realized that was a stupid thing to do. Your sudden movement felt like the end of you, you were so dizzy your gut feels like it's going to empty itself any second now.

Jaehyun sensed what's happening to you, he walked to you and gripped you by one arm as he tried to help you stand up from your seat. “Come on, let's get you to the bathroom.” He mumbled but you took back your arm.

“No, I'm not drunk.” The way you said it proves that you're undeniably drunk which made everyone giggle. Jaehyun gave you a disbelieving look. “What? Jisung’s drunk. Go after him before he flush himself in the toilet.” Your gestures look like you're just flailing your arms in the air and you feel so light you almost feel like you're high.

“Y/N’S DRUNK.” Lucas laughed at you and you snapped your head to him which you once again regret doing but can’t stop from doing it again. “Iiim not drunk bich.” You answered as you pointed your finger at him, which finger, you don't know anymore.

You hiccuped and gagged that made everyone panic, making them grab anything near them that could catch your vomit. Jeno quickly disappears from your side only to be found on the other side of the room.

“Faalse alarm!” you said proudly, “They all went back in hehe.”

“Yuck.” Winwin said in disgust, you looked at him offended. His face is red and is also visibly drunk by the way his head leaning on Lucas’ shoulder.

Taeyong who has been quiet the whole time decided to help Jaehyun get you to the washroom. You fought back and stubbornly folded your arms together. Mark was also helping convince you to go to the bathroom to freshen up but you didn't understand a word he said. He just sounded like a bee buzzing near your ear with a heavy head that he cannot seem to carry anymore.

“Mark stop talking and head to the bathroom first.” Taeyong said while laughing.

“Yeah, head to the bathroom first!” you repeated.

“You stop talking too.” Jaehyun told you as he tried to pull you up from your seat. You lost all your strength to fight back so you obliged instead.

Taeyong and Jaehyun, as responsible older members as they are, helped you wash your face with cold water and helped you brush your teeth by putting toothpaste on your toothbrush and watching your flimsy hand find it’s way to your mouth. They left you alone for a minute when you needed to pee but Taeyong held on to the knob of the door from the outside to make sure you wouldn't lock it.

They're walking you to your assigned room when you hear the other members laughing in the living area, “I want to go back.” You whined.

Jaehyun and Taeyong shared a look, they talked through their eyes and decided to put you to bed already. You've had one too many drinks and you might drink more now that alcohol magically tastes like water to you.

“I think it's best for you to rest and sle-” Taeyong didn't finish his sentence when you saw Jungwoo and Sungchan rounded around the corner.

“Jungwoo!” and you clung to him like a sloth. “Jungwoo help me get out of here.” You whispered loudly to him that everyone in your vicinity heard it.

Jungwoo is sweet enough to tell Jaehyun and Taeyong that they will take care of you. Sungchan on the other hand is kind enough to let Jungwoo decide for him that he will take care of a drunken person aka you.

Jaehyun just shrugged and left but Taeyong left the two with a verbal list of things to do and not to do. After it Jungwoo and Sungchan walked you back to the living room and seated you in between them.

You saw Ten lurking around you and now feeling guilty for giving you way too many shots for your first time because he knows there's a chance that you won't remember the good time you've had tonight.

The night continued with Taeil and Haechan still unbothered with their karaoke machine and Johnny taking out a bottle of Bacardi in the late night. You looked around to see who's going to drink them. All of them are still here, are you seriously the only one who got drunk on whiskey?

Still trying to look tough, you texted Johnny telling him to include you in the round of rum.

You have no idea how much alcohol you could only take, but they know.

Johnny forwarded your text to the other members and they went busy for a minute on their phones before putting them back down,

“Okay y/n’s going to drink again!” Johnny announced and they all hyped you up like crazy.

Shotaro is the one handing you your shots. They look like they aren’t shots anymore. He’s been giving you your drinks in a red cup. You would never have thought Shotaro would be this wild to give you rum in a cup but you take it like the tough woman you are.

The alcohol glides down your throat easier than the whiskey shots you took, now you're having fun.

Little did you know it was Shotaro’s idea to give you (and Jisung) water instead. A way to keep both of you around for tonight and keep you away from a terrible hangover the next morning.

They would yell and cheer every time you finish your ‘shot’ and you like it. You’ve been fooled by your friends and you had no clue.

Your night ended when you asked Sungchan to help you get to your room because you're too sleepy to stay up drinking (water). The boy laughed at you but gladly helped you walk to your room upstairs while Shotaro is following after the two of you, waiting for a chance to help.

The two were glad that you didn't make it harder for them to take you upstairs. They didn't know which room was assigned to you so you insisted that you can take care of yourself and thanked them immediately.

They went back downstairs while you chose the closest room to you and tried to walk a straight line into it. You opened the door to see two twin sized beds and one floor mattress, you took the floor.

You laid yourself down way too quickly. Apparently you already lost your sense of balance and control, you almost hit your head on the floor.

You didn't know that Yuta and Haechan were watching your struggles and laughing to themselves just by the door. You caught them when Haechan snorted a little too loud, you couldn't help but laugh as well.

“How long have you been there?” You elongated your words but you delivered it nevertheless.

Haechan answered you by mimicking your way of talking.

“Can you help me move to the bed?” You begged them which made them laugh even more.

You have no idea what's funny but you let them make fun of you as long as they're going to help you get settled on the bed. You have no strength and will to argue with them, especially with Haechan, when the room is already spinning.

They pulled you on each arm and carefully sat you on the bed. Yuta pulled your legs up to the bed and Haechan guided your head to your pillow. They tucked you with your comforter as your eyes automatically closed to sleep.

You could still hear them but your body felt like it had already shut down and you weren't able to thank them anymore. You heard them walk out and closed the light. Finally, a peace to yourself.

This peace was broken not long after when four men came barging into the room with loud voices enough to wake up a herd of cows. You recognized them as Hendery, Xiaojun, Yangyang and Renjun.

“What's she doing here?” Renjun asked, laughing.

Yangyang walked to you and poked your arm, Xiaojun and Renjun immediately told Yangyang to stop and let you rest but he obviously didn't listen because you woke up from your sleep.

“Hmm” you sounded.

“Scoot over, you're on my bed.” Yangyang said playfully knowing that your drunken state would do anything you’re told to and you did.

You scooted to the side and even left him half of your blanket. You hated it because you're dizzy again, but you didn't bother talking. Yangyang laughed and said he was just joking and he’s sorry for waking you up.

They continued their conversation in lower volumes, which is still loud, but you appreciate that they tried toning it down. You easily fell asleep again, but felt something wet and cold on your face a little later.

“What are you doing?!” You heard Xiaojun exclaim in a hushed tone.

The person beside you who’s responsible for it giggled. “Never forget the skincare routine.” Hendery said, making everyone laugh while he evened out a strawberry mask on your face.

A knock was heard on the door and someone opened it.

“Is she here?” Taeil popped his head and scanned the room with his eyes.

They didn't have to answer as he saw you laying down on a bed with a face mask on you. The sight of you is enough to make him smile.

“Taeyong and I were looking for her everywhere. She should be sleeping with manager noona.” He explained.

“She's already sleeping here when we came in. She probably went to the closest room to her.” Renjun snorted.

“I'll have her picked up, I can't carry her, she's heavy.” Taeil joked and left for a second before coming back with Johnny behind him.

You felt someone gently scooped you from the bed and you immediately opened your eyes panicking with what's happening.

“Shh it’s just me.” Johnny whispered which made you calm down and melt on his chest. You were so dizzy you wondered why you have to move so often but you let them.

Chenle saw you as you're on your way to your assigned room and made a joke about you being Snow White except that you took whiskey shots instead of taking a bite from a poisoned apple. You heard it and wanted to flip him off but unfortunately you cannot move your body to your own accord anymore. Tomorrow you'll avenge yourself and Chenle shall fear you.

Johnny gently placed you on the bed then bid you goodnight and only then you found your peace and slept soundly through the night.

(Though you still heard a series of screams from Chenle, yelling from Lucas and laughing from Mark. Sometimes you could hear people running in the hallway and some even shamelessly cussed numerous times but what's new? It's NCT afterall.)

hiiii today's reminder is a notes app list of observations/thoughts from the concert that I kept to say to you lol:

- xiaohenyang black on black dance break I sobbed

- the first VCR started with jungwoo and jeno and I thought they'd do Js first then it went to yuta and my brain said "mera juta hai japani" which is a line from an old Bollywood song meaning "my shoe is japanese" and it cracked me up too much to pay attention to the rest of the VCR

- about the from home stage: RENJUN MY BABY smiling when he made it through his famous voice crack part and all the members putting their mics up to him for the "and it starts from here our home" bit 😭😭😭

- new stages/songs i don't remember being performed before that I loved: Oasis (why does sm hate winwin's voice), kangaroo (i need a well shot performance vid), ok, pado (tho why would they call it pado and not wave bc my brain immediately read it as pedo and then it was a sexy song and I was Disturbed), call d (what does that even mean lol they're not even trying to hide the frat boyness anymore), and you specifically are gonna love bat and alley oop

- why were the mics so bad. why was the camera work so bad, esp in nct u songs where they clearly don't know which part is whose. also they were focusing wayyy too much on close-ups for choreo-heavy songs (rip nectar). also the random hour long delay in between wtf?? tho I did like wayv banter in the meanwhile, speaking of which

- WHY DID THEY CHANGE WAYV'S INTRO TO "TO THE WORLD THIS IS NCITY"?!!!!!!!! also they clearly just tossed wayv up there to buy time while they fix the sets, it was kinda hilarious. they're pushing winwin to act cute and winwin taps his in ear and says "give us more time" (as in the staff asking them to fill up more time before the performance) and they jumped on him with "you can have all the time you want to act cute baby" to which winwin tries to hide behind ten but he's a whole head taller than him lol

- baggy jeans is good and I'm sure it'll grow on me more, but the t7s unit reunion feels wasted on it. love love LOVE ten's rap verse tho

- songs i loved live but really missed the missing members (this is mostly taeil tho sungchan makes a couple of appearances): round& round, my everything, taeil's empty spot in good night broke my heart, misfit, the 90s love bit in resonance. i like that they didn't have anyone cover taeil in 127's songs tho because he really is the heart of their music to me

- conversely: why does winwin still have 0 lines in boss, why not give him you know who's verse??

- apparently the new 127 album will be the most 127-esque yet and should I be scared?

- so so so very few resonance era songs :(

- some beautiful people: chenle, winwin, ten's wayv outfit, jisung in his black outfit (is that allowed???), taeyong's little braids even though I'm not sure how to feel about this hair, KUN 😭, yuta being the only one without a shirt in resonance for some reason

- Kun, Doyoung, jeno and Chenle together in the end that's my husbands and our sons

Hiii!!!, I might be responding super super out of order.

Overall the missing members left a layer of pain the whole time but the members who covered for them did amazing, Yuta hitting taeil's high note my baby did so well. And Jisung too, speaking of, recently I have been fighting any attraction to Jisung back with a stick, but the past day I... Can no longer fight it like hello???? Sir?? Sir?? Also I really noticed how much he and Winwin look alike I used to think it was just their lips but its their cheeks and smiles too. Jisung still looks more like Taylor Swift though. Who is coming to Miami next year! I think it's an amphitheatre so might picnic in the parking lot. Anyway next!

I just wanna talk about how much of a cutie patootie sweetie pie Renjun is every time I see him I'm like heres the boy! and his little smile! His redemption. And just everyone clamoring to him and Winwin, the princes of NCT.

I really didn't want to spoil all of the new songs yet so I just skimmed over them. And I did allow a little more of Bat and you are so right but but I left some surprises and I'll go back after the album release. But Hendery!!!! That is all. Call D, I have so many questions but the sheer vibe of the song answers them. It's not an NCT album without a song covertly about sex. Baggy jeans from what I've heard so far, same I'm not completely sold on it but I didn't hear the whole song so who knows.

The production value was definitely lacking and they seemed confused about how to film it. At least Winwin had a few of you knows lines in Wayv's songs but I always say this but it's cause the first time was so hard but the Yixing vibes are so strong with Winwin, and I worry. SM if you appreciate Winwin and give him everything he needs he won't find it else where just give him more please. Give Wayv more!!! I am an exo-l who's seen a lot and I'm scared okay. I don't want history to repeat itself. Again!! Cause exo was history repeating itself the first time.

I think we should just be prepared for the next 127 album it could honestly be anything, genuinely anything. I think just go in open-minded and ready to hear them out.

And I just wanna add just Xiaojun Yangyang and Hendery, that's it Xiaojun Yangyang and Hendery just wow look at them also.

because the n in nct stands for nicotine, i will now read you what kind of smoker aura each of the boys in neo city has, as the chain smoker that i am. no one asked for this and i don't care, i just wanna see how many people agree with me lol.

(this is all for shits and giggles, don't take this too seriously, i am but a simple moron in this fandom of clownery)

taeil: tried to hit on a female woman once at some small get-together or smth, she offered him a cig, he took one drag to get on her good side and violently coughed his lungs out rip

taeyong: i feel like he smokes weed on his own every once in a while, purely to have a cathartic cry session

johnny: king of tobacco and weed, tell me i'm wrong. he is the reason all this crap started, he's that one chaotic evil friend who just offers you to try shit at parties. has made his own bong and loves it the way you'd love your family pet. cackles evilly when stoned and plants stupid ideas into everyone's heads, teaches everyone how to blow smoke rings

yuta: he buys a pack every now and then, prefers to smoke in company rather than on his own. loves a good old cig after sex though (as the triple scorpio that he is)

kun: doesn't smoke, but if he did let's face it he'd chainsmoke like a motherfucker from all that yangyanghenderychenle induced stress

doyoung: this man is so done, he doesn't give a fuck anymore. smokes those ultra thin mom cigarettes and holds them real bitchy. try to fight him, he dares you

ten: doesn't smoke. doesn't like the smell sticking to his hair

mark: i feel like morky mork didn't smoke at first but then he debuted 4 fucking times and was just like eh fuck it. my manz loves weed and has this weird aura of highly functioning stoner. has weird ass flavoured rolling papers. will bum a cig off of someone if he's stressed

xiaojun: doesn't smoke, never really wanted to

hendery: listen if you told me this boy tried crack i'd believe you. do i believe he smokes weed, of course i do. makes excellent brownies and that's all he can do well in the kitchen

renjun: this one has a level of rage within himself that can only point to marlboro red touch, i don't care. takes really aesthetic pics of himself while smoking to show how "artsy depressed" he is

jeno: doesn't smoke. is the friend who cleans out the ashtray when it gets too full god bless him

haechan: he's the guy who tries to prove to everyone that he smokes like a boss even though he isn't a smoker, better at holding in smoke than lucas but has no idea how to hold the damn cig in his hand, wants to impress johnny his devoted father

jaemin: rarely smokes weed but when he does it has to be in a big circle with all his friends, calls it "bonding time" and uses the excuse of being stoned to kiss and cuddle everyone despite their refusal, makes up really weird topics to talk about, at one point will just zone out and stare at the ceiling for 10 mins

yangyang: haechan 2.0, everyone thinks he's a stoner but he isn't, peer pressured into it every time but doesn't mind 'cause he thinks it fits his street cred

shotaro & sungchan: can't tell, i don't know much about them

chenle: johnny's number one student and you can't tell me otherwise. has like 7 "guys" around town he's on first name basis with. fucking weed connoisseur, can roll a perfect blunt in less than a minute. fuck i wanna smoke with him sooo bad, he'd be so much fun. wants to do stupid shit when high, not allowed access to the kitchen or the balcony for that reason. prefers tobacco over industrial cigs 'cause he's the main character

jisung: wants to try smoking weed but too anxious to actually do it. loves watching everyone else get stoned though, thinks it's hilarious

painting each other’s nails !! and searching for unique accessories in stores!

he’ll just buy an accessory and give it to you like “i just know this will look good on you, please try it on!”

i feel like he’ll be very honest with you about everything

so you both have nights when you talk for hours about your thoughts

and in the morning forget all about it by watching something while in bed hehe

will like exercising with you from time to time so you both stay healthy!

always thinking about you and your health, both mental and physical

you might be able to convince him to get a couple outfit :o

Taeil: Okay, I honestly think he would tease u. Gemini things, I don't make the rules. It was a super awkward moment because he told you one of his jokes, making you burst into laughter. And with that, you accidentally spit on his arm. Of course you immediately cleaned it, not being able to look at him for good 3 hours. When you finally reappeared from behind your scarf, he couldn't help, but to make another dumb joke, connected to you spitting on him.

Johnny: Would definitely bug you about, why you suddenly acted all shy and blushed everytime he told you to look at him. Started teasing you without knowing the reason, until you finally told him that you had walked in on him showering earlier. Broke out into a huge burst of laughter. You couldn't help the laughter that now flowed uncontrollably out of you, forgetting your prior flustered state and enjoying your happy boyfriend. Taeil: You woke up to the sound of Taeil’s voice. You opened your eyes slowly in the early morning light, the room coming into a soft focus. Taeil shifted behind you, his arms snaking around your middle, and his head resting on your shoulder. He sang your favorite song to you faintly, each word making your chest swell.

Johnny: You woke up and Johnny wasn’t in bed beside you. With the bedroom door cracked, you could smell the food cooking, could hear the sizzle of it frying. As if sensing you were awake, Johnny dipped into the bedroom. He was wearing an apron around his slim waist and a smile on his face. “Good morning,” he said. “Are you hungry? I made you breakfast.”

Taeyong: He came home early in the morning, tip-toeing through the living room so he wouldn’t wake you. You had passed out on the couch waiting for him, your legs hanging halfway off, and your face serene in your sleep. Taeyong came over to you and moved his arms underneath your legs. When he picked you up to take you to bed, you stirred. “ Shh, It’s okay,” he said. “Go back to sleep, baby, it’s just me.”

Yuta: Whenever the morning alarm would sound, both of you turned it off in your sleep. To solve the issue, Yuta placed the alarm on the other side of the room, so that one of you had to get up to turn it off. When it rang one morning, you both groaned in your sleep. “Shouldn’t you get it?” Yuta said. “I did it last time.” You tossed and turned, but didn’t move. Yuta looked over at you, at how tranquil you looked in your sleep. “I’ll do it.” he said.

Kun: From your perch on the bed, you watched Kun getting ready for work. He stood with his shirt open, a sliver of his stomach peeking through. He kept looking in the mirror and deciding that none of the clothes he picked out felt right. “You look good,” you told him. ”No matter what you wear, you’re sexy.” Kun turned to face you, his skin blushing from the compliment.

Doyoung: You were always the person who clung to Doyoung as you slept, your body enveloping his. When you woke, Doyoung was cuddling you, his head on your tummy, and his arm draped over you. He moaned in his sleep when you moved. “Just a few more minutes, please.” he said. You brushed back his hair and let him sleep just a little bit longer.

Ten: “Ten, we have to get up,” you said. “We’re late.” Ten pulled you back down beside him. “No, we don’t,” he said. “Stay with me. Let’s sleep.” You tried peeling yourself away from him, but Ten wouldn’t let you move easily. It was fun trying to get away from him, and even more fun knowing that he wanted to forget all his responsibilities and spend time with you. He pulled you even closer to him and draped his legs over you so that you couldn’t move at all. “Don’t leave me.” he said before closing his eyes.

Jaehyun: He brought you coffee and pastries in bed. He was always doing romantic things, always making you smile. The paper bag that hung from his hands was heavy, but the look on his face was happy and light. Jaehyun was proud of himself for bringing you morning gifts. He set the coffee and pastries down on the table and sat down on the bed next to you. “Good morning.” he said. You wiped a crumb from the corner of his lips and leaned in to kiss him, his mouth tasting sweet.

WinWin: Quiet moments were few and far between. He woke up early, his body unable to fall back asleep. WinWin watched you still peacefully sleeping, your mouth open just a little, and your eyes moving rapidly behind their lids. “Pretty,” he whispered, tucking hair behind your ear. “My baby.” He leaned in to place a soft kiss on your forehead before slipping out of bed to start his morning.

Jungwoo: You wake up and stretch your arms to the ceiling, your mouth opening into a yawn. Jungwoo, already awake, looks at you and laughs. “What?” you ask. “Why are your laughing?” Jungwoo smiles and says, “Your hair. It’s all over the place.” You pat your wild hair down and look over at him as he sits up next to you. You see that his hair is just as messy as yours. You laugh too, making Jungwoo’s smile wider. “What?” he asks. “Me too?”

Lucas: There are days you don’t feel like getting out of bed. The world is against you, but Lucas is not. He understands those days well, and often understands that you just need a little push. “Come on,” he said, helping you out of bed. “I’m with you every step of the way.” He helps you stand, brings you to the bathroom so that you can wash your face and brush your teeth, and gives you the encouragement you need to get you through the day.

Mark: He squeezes a line of toothpaste out onto your toothbrush before doing the same to his. You brush your teeth side by side, occasionally catching each others eyes in the mirror. He looks so cute, and you can’t stop watching him. After spitting and rinsing, Mark smiles to show you his clean teeth. “My breath is now minty fresh.” he says. “Can I test it out?” you ask, leaning in for a cheeky kiss.

Xiaojun: You woke up freezing. Xiaojun was hoarding the small blanket, his body wrapped up, like a burrito. You pulled some of the fabric from him, pulling it so hard that he was no longer covered. “I’m cold.” he whined, trying to pull the blanket back to him. You fought in your sleep, yanking it back and forth until you were fully awake, your eyes watching each other in the dark. “Come here.” Xiaojun said. He pulled you to him and huddled close enough together for warmth, the blanket covering you both. “Ahh,” he said. “That’s better.”

Hendery: Hendery flips out of bed. “Shit! I’m late!” he says. Amused, you watch him run around the room, like a madman. He pulls his pants on quickly, stumbling over his own feet as he makes it to the bathroom to brush his teeth. When he comes back, he throws on his shirt. “It’s on backwards.” you tell him. Hendery groans and rips it from his body to fix it. You get up and help him, your hands working calmly. “Have a good day at work,” you say, giving him the longest kiss you can muster.

Renjun: Before the sun rises, he’s awake. Renjun lays in bed for a little while, his eyes scanning the inky sky. You can sense he’s awake, and you open your eyes. “Can’t sleep?” you ask. Renjun reaches out for your hand and kisses the back of it. “Just waiting for sunrise.” he says quietly. You back your body against his and look out of the same window as him, your eyelids becoming heavier and heavier.

Jeno: His fingers paw over the make-up on your table. He’s curious about everything, opening a bottle of mascara to smell it, and his eyes widening when he sees how bright your highlighter is. “Do you want to help me?” you ask. Jeno smiles and laughs at the thought. He opens a tube of lipstick and tells you what color would match your look. You let him put the lipstick on you, watching lovingly as he takes his time to fill inside the lines. When he’s done, he takes a look at you. “I like it,” he said. “You look nice.”

Haechan: He leans up sleepily, his back hunched, and his head down. You reach over and run your hands over his back, his white t-shirt stretched across his warm skin. Haechan moans from the feeling, the sound gravelly and deep. You massage him longer, watching closely as he starts leaning forward, lost in his sleep. When you stop rubbing him, he jumps awake. “Keep going,” he said. “It feels really good.”

Jaemin: You’ve always had trouble forcing yourself awake. Jaemin knows this about you and finds a new way to wake you up every day. When you try going back to sleep after being woken up, he sits on you and starts to tickle you, using his baby voice to try and rouse you from sleep. You brush his hands away and tell him to get off of you, but he’s too busy playing around. “Wake up, my love, “ Jaemin said. “Wake up and join me.”

YangYang: Mornings with YangYang are simple. You both wake up around the same time, both instinctively reaching for a corner of the blanket to make your bed together. Some days, he makes you breakfast. All the other days, you go out to eat and people watch. You love sitting with him in the mornings, the day not yet started, and the whole world at your feet. Some of the babies originally thought he was their uncle.

Not necessarily close with any of his cousins except the older ones that took care of him growing up.

The younger ones aren’t too familiar with him since he doesn’t talk to them, but he likes to give them little trinkets when he sees them.

Will offer to supervise the kiddos if they want to go outside.

Has a music degree (big no no in this stereotypical family) and works in music production.

Johnny

The cousin that’s stuck in college, everyone loves him but the adults don’t think he is a good life example to the youngsters.

Second favourite of the adults (because the favourite has a degree and a job).

Likes talking w his fellow millennials while sipping his wine

He likes to give advice to high school cousins.

The baby cousins fear him :( He smiles at them lots and gets them the best presents to make up for it.

Is probably still in college because he doesn’t want to join the adult table.

Taeyong

Taeyong likes the babies.

He’ll sit them on his lap while he talks to the adults, making sure to play with them a bit so they don’t get bored.

If they do anyway, he’ll get up and carry them back to the rest of the cousins, chatting with them for a while.

The adults think he would make a great father. (Some of the nosy aunts and uncles like asking about his love life lmao)

He treats the cousins around his age or older with respect.

Overall everyone likes him because he’s happy to talk and easy to get along with.

Yuta

A social genius, he tailors his approach perfectly for every generation.

Has to greet every single child at the reunion before doing anything else.

Every moment you look at him, there’s a different youngster in his arms and he’s high-fiving a different high schooler.

Well-mannered with the adults and friendly with cousins of all ages.

The high school-aged cousins love that he doesn’t treat them like angsty teenagers and he’s become a favourite among them.

Not jobless, to the relief of the parents.

Kun

Kun is the favourite, the cousin everyone gets compared to.

He’s always busy working so he’s usually late to family gatherings.

Is basically whisked away by the adults immediately to talk about adult things.

He asks high school cousins “How’s school?”. Chill with them because he saw them grow up.

Has a huge soft spot for the baby cousins.

He’ll be in the middle of a conversation and drop everything when they tug on his sleeve.

Doyoung

Quiet, he does and talks about anything but only when he’s prompted.

He’s as successful as Kun, but not as sociable.

Sits beside his parents most of the night and minds his own business.

Doyoung’s awful at supervision.

He just sits there and watches the kids make chaos.

His relatives get shocked when they see him outside of gatherings acting casually with his coworkers/friends.

Ten

He just got out of college but decided to take a year break before looking for a job.

Is a kid favourite.

Even though he’s one of the older cousins, he’s the most “hip with the kids”.

Teaches them how to cheat on tests and in general, be an awful student.

Ten does not enjoy the adult table.

All the parents think he’s talented and has a lot of potential but will he!! Stop ruining their children’s minds!!!!!

He only gets friendly with the older cousins when he’s wine drunk.

Has never met the baby cousins. (The adults are sheltering them from the chaos that is Ten at family gatherings.)

Jaehyun

Jaehyun starts off by greeting the adults and being the sweetheart he is.

The adults always want to know about his love life because “Our nephew is very handsome, no?”

Hangs out with the older cousins later, drinking beer and chatting away like best friends.

He enjoys watching them fight with each other.

Probably the youngest at his table, gets teased quite a bit. (”Yoooooo, Yoonoh’s growing up!”)

The younger kids aren’t really familiar with him.

Winwin

The favourite among the youngest cousins.

They get excited to see him every time he arrives at family gatherings.

Participates in their games (They like making him count for hide and seek.) and sits with them while eating.

He spends very small amounts of time with the adults, quickly answering any questions they have about his life.

The older cousins think he’s cute :(

After the little ones go home, he watches whatever drinking game his generation has gotten into.

Jungwoo

Jungwoo is a free soul.

He’s just there to entertain himself, watching whatever cartoon the little ones are watching.

When they turn around and see a grown man on the couch, they’re a bit startled.

The adults think he enjoys taking care of the kids, but no. The boy is there to watch Tom and Jerry for his own enjoyment.

Nobody remembers that he’s an engineering student, one moment he’s watching Blue’s Clues and the next he’s leaving to finish an assignment for class.

The high schoolers try to ask him for advice, but he just says “I literally don’t know what I’m doing.”

Lucas

This boy walks into every family gathering dressed like he’s gonna be on a runway.

Enjoys talking to the high schoolers about how their school’s changed since he graduated.

Other than them, he joins any conversation on invite.

The youngsters climb him like he’s a playground item.

There’s just kids hanging off him while he laughs at some joke his uncle made.

Sometimes, they shout “Big brother Yukhei!” into his ear and he just pats their head silently before continuing on with his business.

Mark

Follows his parents around.

He’s wrapped up in his own thoughts instead of whatever his mom is talking about with his relatives.

I’m kinda hungry, should I grab that cookie? I’m gonna grab that cookie.

At some point, his parents get fed up with him “acting like an eight year old,” so he gets sent to play with his fellow cousins.

Asks for the WiFi password and then sits on the couch all night scrolling through his phone.

He doesn’t talk to his cousins because he never knew how to.

Xiaojun

A sweetheart with the most patience.

Same question from every single adult about school? No problem, he’ll answer it as many times as he needs to.

The youngsters like to pull pranks on him because they know he won’t scold them afterwards.

“Did we get you good, Dejun-ge?” “Yeah, I almost had a heart attack, haha.”

Helps the babies get food.

Just has a great family bond with everyone.

Hendery

Hendery likes to look for the older cousins that take care of him, initiating conversation.

If they’re busy or stop talking to him, he goes to the crowd of younger cousins on the couch and chills with his phone.

Occasionally, he’ll show them all some memes he has.

“Haha, guys look at this one.”

Mimics the children screaming in the background to get some chuckles from them, too.

The adults don’t think much of him, he’s a chill kid doing his thing.

Renjun

He’s quiet and polite for the most part, especially towards the adults.

With his cousins, he jumps in to say one-line roasts about people mentioned in conversation and then goes back to being silent.

They might say something like “My school friends are so weird!” and Renjun simply replies with “Makes sense why you’re friends, then.”

One of the baby cousins likes to hug his leg, and he smooths their hair or holds their cheek absentmindedly.

An art major, but the adults aren’t worried since he’s smart.

When alone in a room, he’s doodling on some scrap paper he found.

Jeno

Close with the cousins around his age.

Has a group chat with them and texts them to come to the living room.

When they arrive he just goes “Wanna play Spaceteam?”

He plays party games with them for the rest of the night.

If the other cousins want to join in, he’ll teach them how to play.

The adults don’t think much of him, they usually just ask how he is and he replies with “Good!” and a smile.

Haechan

Haechan is The Annoying Cousin™.

He comes off as very cold and bitchy usually.

At family gatherings, he participates in games and gets overly competitive.

WILL cheat or flip the table, causes all the chaos.

The parents aren’t a fan of him, the kids either love him or hate him.

Older cousins think he’s entertaining lmao

Jaemin

Normal until some random kid screams his name.

From then on he is in full kindergarten teacher mode.

Brings an entire crowd of noisy toddlers to the tables and everyone is just in shock.

His older cousins know he’ll come around and chat with them once the kids go home, so they save him a bottle when he gets there.

The adults have a good image of him: handsome, smart, charming. They think he’ll get married early.

It’s a celebration if his mom announces he’s seeing someone.

Yangyang

Starts heated debates among his cousins.

If he’s in the zone and an older cousin tries to put an educational twist on the argument, he’ll start bullying them out of the room.

“From what I learnt in college--” “THIS IS A DEBATE AMONGST THE YOUTH.”

Two seconds later, he’s back to being friendly and cheery, talking casually and normally.

The adults don’t believe their children when they tell them what happened upstairs with Yangyang.

They think he’s the sweetest kid of the bunch.

Chenle

Chenle is just comfortable and gets absorbed in the atmosphere.

“Chenle, go play with your cousins.” “Hey guys! My mom said to play with you”.

All his cousins get along with him.

He thinks the baby cousins are cute and will baby them.

Lets them sit on his lap while he plays card games. (Probably lets them choose cards for him sometimes, too.)

Youngest of his generation, everyone loves him to pieces.

Jisung

He does not want to be at the family gatherings.

Awkwardly trails his parents because he doesn’t know what to do.

Has to be pushed towards the food by relatives and just goes “Oh. Um, okay.”

The older cousins ruffle his hair and ask him, “Aye, Jisung! How’s school?” “I-It’s good...”

The younger ones do not find him approachable.

Asks his parents when they’re going home as soon as 9 PM hits.

NCT 2018: Their S/O dying in an accident

Warning: grief, drugs, alcohol, violence, torture, swearing.

Fun fact, I almost cried writing Johnny’s, Yuta’s, Doyoung’s, Jaehyun’s and Mark’s (They are really sad in my opinion I’m sorry for the emotional damage).

Don’t forget to give me your opinion! Since it’s my first time writing something like that I’d love your feedback!

Premise:

A slippery road. That’s all it took for you to be taken away from him. To leave him with no possibility of you coming back. You lost control of your car and ending up hitting a pole. The doctors told him you didn’t suffer, you died on the choc but he, now, had a void in his heart that could never be filled.

Taeyong:

The day you died is the day Taeyong’s heart stopped beating. The day he stopped feeling anything. The day he lost all of his emotions. It’s the day the boss turned into an emotionless robot that had two things on his mind: revenge and domination.

He didn’t care anymore. He didn’t care about anyone or anything.

After one of their new recruits gave information to the enemy resulting in NCT losing a bunch of very important blue prints, Taeyong called a meeting.

Johnny got up from his chair fixing his tie. “Boss, that’s a bit intense don’t you think?”

Taeyong turned slowly his eyes narrowing at Johnny. “Oh, I’m sorry are we in kindergarten here or in the mafia. Do you want me to give that jackass a lollipop and thank him for selling info to our enemy?”

The atmosphere in the room was heavy.

“Torturing anyone who dares to harm or cross us is a principle I live by!” Explained Johnny. “But don’t you think we are going a bit to far with that torture plan. Make him bleed for days until he dies of blood loss is something we don’t even do when we catch to our worst enemies.”

“I don’t care.” Taeyong grunted putting emphasis on every word. “That bastard will die how I want him to die understood?” Johnny nodded and sat back down. “Now, Winwin, Jaemin get to it. That fucker is waiting for you in the cell.”

Taeil:

He lost his lucky charm. And a racer without his lucky charm wasn’t any good. He hit a slump; he didn’t win anymore. Taeyong had no choice but to stop assign him races. He wasn’t even a getaway driver anymore. He was still in charge of 127 but missed the road. He missed you even more.

“Please Tae,” he begged, “just this one race. If I lose then I’ll stop pestering you with it.”

“I don’t know Taeil.” Answered Taeyong. “You lost five races since...” he didn’t dare to say it. He didn’t want to hurt Taeil even more.

“I know, but please I need to try again. For her, please.”

Taeyong agreed and that night he was back in his car on the starting line. He knew he was going to win. He could feel it. He could feel you with him. He grabbed his necklace: a simple chain with your engagement ring as a charm.

He kissed the ring. “I love you baby, this is for you!” And he started his car with the loudest roar.

Johnny:

Standing in front of your grave was like hearing the news all over again. You weren’t coming back. The preacher was speaking, but he couldn’t hear him. He heard himself chocking on his tears, heard Taeyong’s comforting words. He felt his throat closing up, his cheeks getting wetter, the pain in his chest and Jaehyun’s hand patting his back.

When the preacher walked away, Johnny couldn’t take it anymore. He fell on his knees in front of your grave, crying rivers, and stared at the words written in the stone: “Here lies Y/N Seo and Grace Seo.”

Grace, the name you both agreed on naming your daughter. The daughter he’ll never be able to hold.

Johnny raised his head and there, on the other side of your grave stood two, other, mafia leaders with their crews behind them. The two leaders placed their network’s flags on top of your gravestone. A sign of unity in the mafia.

Johnny bit his lip and nodded his head as a thank you.

Then, Taeyong raised his gun in the air and everyone followed. They all fired one shot: for you, his wife. And a second one: for his unborn daughter.

Yuta:

He wanted to be back in the field. In a mission, he could focus on what he had to do and he could forget the pain. Lying in bed, staring at the ceiling he couldn’t. He wasn’t able to move. His heart ached. He missed you so bad. He cried himself to sleep every night. Why you? Why? He hated life, he hated himself. It should’ve been him.

“Daddy.”

At the sound of his son’s voice, he whipped his tears quickly and sat up.

“What is it buddy? Are you alright?” His throat was hoarse.

His son climbed in his bed and hugged him hiding his face in his father’s neck.

“I miss mommy.” He cried

Yuta couldn’t help but cry again. He tightly hugged his son and laid back down.

“I miss her too buddy. I miss her so much.”

That night, and the following ones, they both cried themselves to sleep.

Kun:

Everything was a mess. His office was a mess, his head was a mess and his life was a mess.

He started living in his office because back home you were still there. Your stuff was there, memories you made together were there, it was all there and he knew that he might destroy everything out of anger, out of grief.

“Hey boss,” said Yangyang cracking the door of his office open, “can I ask you something real quick?”

Kun cleared his throat. He didn’t want one of his members to know he’d been crying; again. “Yeah, come in.”

Yangyang opened the door and stared at the mess surrounding him. “Dang boss, do you live here?”

No one knew he lived in his office apart from Taeyong.

Kun sighed nodding “I can’t go back home, she’s everywhere.”

Yangyang nodded in agreement. “I get it, once when I was five years old. My dog died in the backyard, out of old age don’t worry, anyway he died there in the middle of the backyard. And I didn’t want to go outside anymore because his presence was everywhere outside... “

As Yangyang rambled, Kun smiled faintly. He was grateful he had Yangyang in his life to stop him from being serious from time to time. But right now, Yangyang made him stop thinking about you for the first time weeks.

Doyoung:

Two police officers came at the mansion. Everyone expected the worst: that was it. They had legitimate proof. The officers asked to speak to him in private but Taeyong didn’t allow it. So here they were, the entire network, in what they call the living room surrounding the officers.

“Mr. Kim,” started the older officer Doyoung sat on the edge of his seat listening to his words, “there was an accident on the 640. Your wife lost control of the car and hit a pole.

“Is she ok? Is she fine?” Rushed Doyoung.

The older officer looked at his partner who took a big breath and swallow hard before speaking.

“The paramedic tried everything they could but it was too late. Mr. Kim, she didn’t make it. We’re sorry for your loss.”

The world stopped. They were lying; this had to be a joke. His tears were unstoppable. He wanted to scream, to shout at the officers to double check. There was no way that you were gone. Feeling Doyoung’s emotions starting to surface, Johnny guided the officers out thanking them.

As soon as the front door close, Taeyong placed a hand on Doyoung’s shoulder and spoke up.

“Let it out buddy.”

Doyoung sobbed loudly. He grabbed the vase that was on the table in front of him. He got up and threw it at the nearest wall. As pieces of glass were flying all around the room, Doyoung fell on his knees screaming.

Ten:

“Peacock are you in position?” Asked Kun bringing him back to reality.

Ten cleared his throat. “Yeah, I’m good Zipper.”

He was lying; he wasn’t good. Losing you had literally ripped his heart out of his chest. He was in constant pain. Taeyong and Kun agreed that he needed at least two weeks off but Ten begged to come back only a week after your death. On the field, he could stop thinking about you. That’s what he thought. The moment they were all in position, his mind went back to you.

He was so lost in his own world thinking about you that he never heard him. He never heard one of the enemy’s men coming from behind him. He never heard the gun shot. He only felt it.

The bullet entered in his back and got out in the middle of his chest. Blood poured out and fast. He placed a shaky hand on his wound and fell to the floor.

“Zipper,” he whispered in his walkie-talkie spitting blood, “I’m down.”

His vision started to become hazy, his breath short and his eyes heavy. He wasn’t going to last long and he knew it. Then he saw you, dressed in white. You were so beautiful, angel-like. He smiled for the first time in a while. You were here; you were back.

“Come on honey, come with me.” You whispered holding out your hand to him. He didn’t hesitate. He took your hand and closed his eyes for the last time.

Jaehyun:

He couldn’t sleep. He saw you every time he closed his eyes. Even though you occupied his thoughts keeping him away from, your once shared, bed. It’s not like his daughter was of any help.

The 2 month old needed constant care and attention and to remind her father to do so: she cried all the time. Jaehyun is pretty sure she hadn’t stop crying since the day you died.

“It’s alright princess, I’m here. Daddy is here.” Jaehyun whispered rocking his baby.

He tried everything: feeding, changing, checking for fever, everything. But his daughter was inconsolable and Jaehyun was going insane. He knew his daughter needed her mother but you weren’t there anymore and that made him miss you even more then he already was.

Jaehyun tried his best to calm the infant down, but when his daughter’s cries only got louder he started to cry too. The stress, the feeling of being a bad parent and grief hitting him all at once.

He placed, his still crying, daughter back in her crib and walked out of the room. Jaehyun was doing his best to hold back his sobs not wanting to cry in front of his baby. But when he closed the door he broke down. He leaned his back on the door and slid to the floor face in his hands sobbing loudly with the screams of his newborn in the background.

Winwin:

Every night, he tried to distract himself. The thoughts of you were heart-wrenching at night. He tried a bunch of things: alcohol, gambling, weed, nothing worked. He was on his last resort, here: in a private room with a dancer, in one of Jaehyun’s brothels.

He tried to concentrate on the dance happening in front of him but failed to. The air was to heavy, the music was too loud, the couch he was sitting on wasn’t confortable and he kept imagining the snarky comments you’d make about Jaehyun’s choice of decor. He kept imagining you, he was on the verge of losing it. So when the dancer came close to him to dance on his lap, he couldn’t take it anymore.

He placed his fingers on the dancers stomach and pushed her away gently. “I can’t, I’m sorry. Fuck, I’m the worst.” He rushed the words out. “I’ll tell Jaehyun to pay you double. I’m sorry, I really am.. I just.. I can’t.”

He got up from the couch, took a hundred dollars out of his wallet and gave it to the dancer. Tears were threatening to fall at any moment. Why did he have to think about you now?

“Don’t worry it’s fine!” Replied the dancer. “Are you ok? You don’t look ok.”

He sat back down hands hiding his face. “We..we were supposed to get married.” He choked out. The dancer sat beside him and patted his back. “She.. She died a three weeks before we were supposed to get married.” He was now full on crying in a VIP room of a brothel.

Jungwoo:

His throat was hoarse all the time. He was also, probably, constantly dehydrated from the amount of crying he did. The worst was that he caught himself wanting to cry at the worst possible time: like right now.

They were in a meeting with another mafia, making a pact, when he felt like crying. He tilted his head forward hoping no one would see his watery eyes. He breathed by his mouth trying to clam himself down.

Fortunately, Taeil noticed the distress in Jungwoo’s demeanour. “Go take a breath of fresh air outside Woo.” He whispered in his ear.

Jungwoo got up making sure to make little noise and to hold back his sobs. Sadly, it didn’t go as planned. Everyone looked at him as he walked out of the room.

“Sorry about that,” he heard Taeil say as Jungwoo was getting close to the door, “his girlfriend died two weeks ago.”

Jungwoo closed the door to the meeting room. He put a hand in front of his mouth, to keep himself form crying, and sped walked to his usual breakdown place: the closet close to Johnny’s office.

It’s only when he closed the door of the closet behind him that he took his hand off of his mouth and starting crying. He slid to the floor: back pressed to a wall, knees close to his chest and forehead on his knees. And cried until he had no more water in his body.

Lucas:

He raised his empty glass towards the bartender. “Another one, please good sir.”

The bartender nodded.

Jungwoo had enough. He watched Lucas chug every drink the bartender gave him for the past hour. It wasn’t the first time this week and Jungwoo was fed up. He left the VIP section to go retrieve his friend.

Lucas felt a hand on his shoulder; he turned around slowly trying not to fall off the barstool.

“Jungwoo!” He screamed as he hugged him. “What are you doing here? Come here, this good sir is very good at making drinks.” Lucas looked at the bartender. “One drink for my friend good sir please!”

Jungwoo looked at his bartender for the night and shook his head. The bartender nodded and went to another client.

“Lucas, it’s the fourth time this week you come here to get shit faced. You need to stop bro!” Said Jungwoo

Lucas seemed to sober up at that statement. “What if I don’t want to? When I drink I forget about her.” Lucas pressed his finger against his temple repeatedly. “She’s always here.”

Jungwoo sighed “As much as I appreciate the income that comes along with dudes coming to drink the pain away, it’s a different story for my friends.” He grabbed Lucas’s arm. “Now come on, we’ll talk about this in the morning.”

Lucas pushed his hand away. “No leave me alone, I want another drink from the good sir.”

Jungwoo crossed his arms on his chest. “Lucas, do I have to call Kun and Taeyong?”

Lucas rolled his eyes “Fine.” He grunted getting up and following Jungwoo out of the bar.

Mark:

His back pressed to your tombstone sitting cross-legged on your grave was his new favourite place. He came at least four times a week. To have a moment for him, a moment away from all of his responsibilities. He’d talk to you about anything from the new restaurant he discovered to how their recent mission went.

He missed talking to you so bad. You were the only one who listened to his every word. You’d push all of his insecurities away. Now that you were gone, it’s like they were all back ten times stronger.

He missed hearing your voice. It was like music to his ears. It calmed him down after a hectic day. After such days, he used to come home and say the word: “cuddle” and you knew exactly what he needed.

He missed hearing you say that you loved him. He’s been in the network since he was very young. He used to think that he was unlovable. That his line of work meant he was never going to have someone to call his own but then, you came.

He missed your laugh. It could bright up any room, even the cells. Hearing your happiness made his heart flutter. When you’d laugh at one of his jokes he’d fall even more in love.

He missed your kisses. They made him forget about everything. They made him forget that he spent an entire day yelling at Dream Team to get their act together. Or, they made him forget that he spent hours in the freezing rain to meet up with a buyer that never came. They calm him down. They were addicting.

Mark lifted his head up and looked at the sky. Streaks of tears fresh on his face. “I miss you so much baby.”

Renjun:

“Where is it?” He grunted to himself.

He looked through every cupboard but he couldn’t find it. The one thing he needed right now. He could feel himself needing it, craving it. If he didn’t find it soon he was going to go insane. Something else caught his eye and he took it in between his index and middle finger. Could this be better?

“Renjun, what the hell are you doing here?” Asked Ten

Renjun jumped dropping what he had in between his fingers.

“Oh..um nothing.” He answered rapidly

Ten approached him. Renjun tried to hide what he dropped with his foot but it didn’t go unnoticed by Ten who bent down and picked it up.

“I don’t remember Jungwoo or I assigning you a cocaine run Renjun. What are you doing here?”

He’d been caught. Renjun looked at the ground.

For the past two weeks, the drug room, as they call it, had been one of his daily stops. He’d steal enough weed to get high but never enough to get caught by his other members.

“In my defense,” started Renjun, “I was looking for weed not cocaine.”

Ten crossed his arms. “I know.” Renjun’s mouth fell to the ground. “Do you really think that Jungwoo and I didn’t notice that our numbers didn’t match up with our stocks?”

“I just..” Renjun tried to explain holding back his tears; he hated feeling things. “I lost the best thing I had in my life. And it hurts so much, I just want to forget the pain.”

He started to cry. His high long gone and he started to feel the pain he’s been dreading to feel. He started to grief. He lost you and he couldn’t do anything about it.

Jeno:

“You know she’d hate seeing you like this.”

“Yeah well she isn’t here anymore is she?” Jeno spat at Jaemin.

Jaemin didn’t react. He was used to Jeno’s temperament by now and knew that it was his way of grieving.

“Dude, I’m just looking out for you.” Started Jaemin. “You haven’t been the same since she left. You’re getting into random fights with dudes three times your size and you always come back injured. All I’m saying is that she wouldn’t want you living like this!”

“Of course I haven’t been the same!” Screamed Jeno. “The girl I love, the one I planned to marry died. She’s dead. D-E-A-D. She’s never coming back, what would you do if your girl died?” Jaemin opened his mouth but he couldn’t reply. “That’s what I thought! So don’t you fucking dare to tell me shit about how I’m living my damn life.”

Jeno got up from the chair in the infirmary abruptly. The wound on his forehead, that Jaemin was fixing, still bleeding but he didn’t care he wanted to be far away from him right now.

He went to the gym to punch bags: to get the frustration out. After two punches, his eyes started to water. Jeno didn’t stop punching even if he was sobbing loudly and Jaemin, who followed him to make sure Jeno wouldn’t get in trouble, watched from afar his best friend fall apart.

Haechan:

To put it simply, he stopped living. He hadn’t shed a tear since he learned the news. Too shocked to realize. He also hadn’t moved from his place on the couch. For three days, he’s been laying on his side on the couch in his living room. Arms crossed over his chest, not moving, not sleeping, not drinking, not eating; nothing. His best friends and their girlfriends tried everything to get him back on his feet.

“Taeyong, what the hell?” Screamed his wife.

The couple were in the doorway of Haechan’s place. Arguing because Taeyong had just asked Haechan to: “get your act together, I need you on the field tonight.”

“What?” Replied Taeyong offended. “I need him back on the field!”

“Get Hendery from the Chinese Division for all I care. Haechan’s girlfriend just died, you can’t put him back in the field this quickly!”

“Yes I can and I will.”

Taeyong’s wife sighed loudly. “Do you even care about him?”

“Of course I do, what kind of..”

She cut him. “No you don’t because if you did, you would know that the only thing he ate in three days is five spoons of apple sauce. You don’t because if you did, you would know that Jeno’s girl is lucky if she can get him to drink half a glass of water per day. You don’t because if you did, you wouldn’t try to send him back on the field right now.”

Taeyong opened his mouth to retaliate but his wife stopped him by raising her hand. “Don’t even try to justify yourself.” She lightly pushed Taeyong out of the apartment. “I’m staying with Haechan tonight because I care about him. Also to make sure he doesn’t die of grief.” She grabbed the door handle. “Meanwhile, maybe you can reflect on your words and actions.” She snarked closing the door and locking it.

Jaemin:

Currently, the only thing that brought him joy was torturing. His talent for medicine turned dark. These days, he rarely helped Winwin in the infirmary instead; he opted for torturing the network’s new prisoners until they begged for death.

“Please.” Cried the man he’s been torturing for three days now. “I’ve told you everything. I swear I don’t have anymore information to give you.”

“How can I be sure of that?” smirked Jaemin.

“Just kill me already. I have no value for you anymore. Please, just end this.”

Jaemin shook his head. “No, you’re a bad dude. Only good people deserve a quick painless death.”

The doctor’s words rang in his head: “She never suffered.”

“And you’re wrong!” Added Jaemin. “You have a value to me. You see, I recently lost the best thing that ever happened in my life. She was an actual angel; I used to pinch myself every morning. The fact that she was mine was surreal to me. Now, that she’s dead the only thing that brings me joy is torturing people. Seeing the pain in their eyes and loving the fact that she never experienced it. So I’m going to keep torturing you until I see every pain imaginable in your eyes.”

Jaemin planted a knife in the man’s arm and twisted it.

The man’s screams could be heard through the entire mansion followed by Jaemin’s laugh.

Chenle:

You were his source of comfort. His peace in this fucked up world. He did a couple of thing to remind him of you. He got a helix piercing on his left ear, just like you had, and put one of your earrings in it. He also got a tattoo of an octopus, your favourite animal. Even after these, he still needed the peace you brought him.

One night, he was walking around the mansion and decided to go take at a look at the shooting range. Xiaojun was there, practicing on moving target. When he was done, Chenle went up to him.

“Hey, Xiao how are you?” He asked

“Yo Chenle, I’m good you?”

Chenle shrugged. “I try to be.”

“I’m really sorry. She was a great girl.”

“Yeah she was.” Whispered Chenle as he lifted his head to the ceiling to keep his tears at bay.

An uncomfortable silence settled between them.

“I know it’s weird,” started Chenle, “but can I try that training? I just need something to occupy my mind these days and Mark never lets me train with moving targets. According to him, I’m a hazard to myself and to the equipment.”

Xiaojun laughed “Yeah, why not?”

He explained how that training worked to Chenle before going behind the bulletproof glass.

“You ready Chenle?” Called Xiaojun.

“Yeah!”

Chenle looked down at his tattoo on his right bicep and gave it a quick peck hoping you were watching over him.

Jisung:

He walked in the tattoo parlour a stern look on his face and the last letter you wrote him in his hand.

“What’s up dude? What can I do for you?” Asked the tattoo artist

Jisung placed the letter on the counter and pointed to the last sentence. “I want to get that.”

The words I love you, in your handwriting. That’s what he wanted; to have you and your love with him for the rest of his life.

“Ok,” nodded the tattoo artist, “thought I’m going to need an ID. You look a bit young dude.”

“I assure you that I’m of age.” Snarled Jisung

“Dude I believe you, but I need to be sure. You know legal wise.”

Jisung was losing patience, something he found himself doing a lot since you died.

“I won’t say it again, I’m of age you don’t need my ID.”

“I need your ID to be sure you’re legit.”

Jisung had enough. He took his gun out of his jacket and pointed it at the artist who raised his hands almost immediately.

“I said I’m legal. Now can you do that tattoo or should I find somebody else.”

The artist gulped “No need dude, I can do it.”

“That’s what I thought.”
