Welcome to K-BookClub, a safe space for all k-pop fans to read, discuss and review fanfics!

A big issue on Tumblr is the lack of feedback authors receive, it is very discouraging and can make people stop writing/quit this site altogether. To try and bring the spirits of authors back up, I present to you K-BookClub! A multi-fandom club for all members of the K-Pop community of Tumblr to come together, share their work and get feedback!

Each week our members will submit a piece of fan-fiction, one person’s work will be randomly selected and reblogged. From there it is up to our other lovely members to read and submit feedback! 

If you are not a member but believe there is a certain fic that deserves to be seen, please send it through to our ask box and it may be choose for out members to review!

Only members can have their reviews reblogged onto this account but of course it is encouraged for everybody in the k-pop fan-fiction community to send feedback to authors. If you are interested, please see below!

Welcome back to K-BookClub

Long time no see! As some of you may have noticed K-BookClub has been inactive for quite some time now and I would like to apologize for that. Life had become a bit crazy for me and I could no longer keep up with the server and all its moving parts, I believe some of our members felt to same. But regardless of K-BookClubs activity I was apart of the wider K-Pop community on Tumblr and still felt that authors lacked the support they needed.

With my life back to normal and some changes to how K-BookClub ran, I present to you K-BookClub 2.0! Here is a list of some changes that have been made to hopefully make K-BookClub more engaging and inclusive of the K-Pop community on Tumblr.

Instead of only book club members being able to submit their written works, members can submit any fics of their choosing to be the weekly read. This could be a fic you have already read and think deserves more attention or a fic you wish to read that you just haven't got around to yet.

Members can still submit their own fics, although if their fic gets chosen, they cannot submit another one of their fics for the next two weeks. They can still submit other fics they wish to read, just not their own during this two week cool down.

Since it's now open for all fics to be chosen, not just those of our members, non-writers in the community are now welcome to join!

Non-members can now submit fics they also wish to be reviewed/reblogged through the bookclub's ask box!

Any fan-fiction that our members reblog with feedback can be sent to the discord and then reblogged onto K-BookClub.

A new role is to be added to the discord that allows members who submit their own fics to choose whether they want their fics to be criticized or just reviewed. If a fic from a non-member is chosen, please only leave a review and not a critique!

Themes will be incorporated to help people get engaged into the stories being shared!

the theme for this collab is korean mythology/supernatural creatures !! from bulgaes to goblins to fox spirits, anything is acceptable as long as korean myths and creatures are included !! the only restriction is that your fic must have a bittersweet or sad ending.

your fic must fit the collab's theme

there are 15 slots and it's a first come, first serve basis! you can only choose one member! (for now. if it comes down to it, i will let it be known that you can write for two members or the slots for each member double up.)

you must be 14+ to join !!

suggestive and nsfw works are allowed but your fic cannot o n l y be smut. no smut is allowed for enhypen's maknae line.

minimum word count is 1,000 words and maximum word count is 20,000 words. accepting oneshots only.

word count, pairing, synopsis, and warnings must be listed before the fic.

genres like crack, fluff, and angst, even horror, are allowed but the restriction rule still stands.

pairings can include: idol x reader or idol x oc (i almost put poly but that would take up two slots 🥲) gn!reader and fem!reader are allowed!

plagiarism will not be tolerated at all. if i find out that you have plagiarized someone's work, you will be immediately removed from the collab and future collabs.

you won't have to do the research alone ! there is an entire section in the server that is dedicated to myth research !! since i won't be participating, i'm devoting time to research and anything i can find on korean myths and creatures. you can just go in and see what you might like !

you are definitely allowed to drop out but only before the date as it can allow time for someone else to have that slot.

please be kind to everyone, you will only be warned once for disrespect to anyone before you are removed.
