I got something cuz i got inspired from your writing about Cron
"Unicron is a carrion eater.
He eats sick and dead planets.
He's not a destroyer nor chaos bringer.
He is Death.
He tends to the dead"-[???] of [?] Confiscated destroyed archives about Unicron.
"Unicron is a celestial being that consumes decaying planetary matter. He is not a harbinger of destruction or chaos, but rather a force of inevitable demise. As such, he is responsible for the maintenance of deceased celestial bodies."-Unknown author of seized and expunged documents on Unicron.
Hmm another one maybe
"Unicron is a celestial being that feasts upon the decaying remnants of planets past their prime. He should not be classified as a harbinger of destruction or chaos.Rather, he embodies the concept of mortality itself, acting as a caretaker for the lifeless remnants of celestial bodies."-Anonymous source from the purged archives detailing encounter with Unicron.
Imagine archivist Orion somehow finding or stumbling upon datapad about true nature of so called Unmaker.. 👀
Anyone feel free to use
Well hello interesting concept!
I actually really like this take. Primus makes, and Unicron cleans up the mess so that new things can come in his wake. He likely takes great pride in his work so that everything should go as it should. Who knows, maybe him and Primus actually get along since there would be little reason for the vacuum cleaner to attack the local gardener.

You know what would be an exelent twist for season 3 of transformers animated, if we learned that sari sumdac was actualy a protoform from unicron
Think about it
She has pigtails, sorta like how unicron has horns
She can fly, unicron has wings
She has a mischievous streak, which leads to choas somtimes leads to choas, unicron is the harbinger of choas.
There color formats are simaler
Sari sumdac has the ability to heal autobots, unicron healed megatron from near death.
( Agin, it's an idea, but it would be neat to have seen it)

You know what trope I love, the whole ‘eldritch horror/aspects of nature in physical form in human form’ specifically with death. Death the endless from the Sandman is my favorite character due to how refreshing it is to not see a natural part of nature not be demonized.
Imagine a physical manifestation/embodiment of death in the transformers universe. They are so old, older than the gods that preoccupy the universe they share and has reaped many. Death ingrains themselves into every species, sharing with their love and their lust of life, for self enjoyment and to sympathize with the souls they will one day charter. Every soul, no matter what age or species, recognizes them.
Than the Great War of Cybertron breaks out. Death knew war was bound to happen to its petty societal class systems, but never imagined it would directly cause the death of Primus. They can still remember the sadness on his face when he took their hand to be carried to his fate. The death count grew higher and higher, and death did as they have always done since the beginning, with some faint glimmer of hope that they would see what they had done now that their god is dead. Death never took pleasure in the brutality and savagery of war nor in the fear and anger and sorrow in it.
Now, it’s once expansive population was reduced to a scathing thousands. Now Death faces their own crisis. Reap all cybertronians who are the one causes of their extinction or interfere and give them a second chance?
Death’s mind is made up when they take the form a young human girl, making it easier to get close to the so called ‘Autobots’, to see for themselves if they and the ‘Decepticons’ are worthy of a second chance.
Plus, they missed human food. Especially, ice cream.
(If the bots do discovered their/her identity and they ask why Death would help. They/she would simply smile, a bit of ice cream on the corner of their lips. “I am death. I am inevitable. What’s a little while longer?” Was all they/she said as she ate another spoonful of ice cream.)
Okay, commentary because this tickled my brain so much like Woah and I do have things along those lines.
And same here, anon, but more like Aspects that take on a humanoid/mortal form or have Avatars to take on very specific Aspects because such entities are far too immense for a true physical embodiment.
But that's a different topic, so the embodiment of Death in Transformers does exist, depending on the universe and how viewers want to take it.
The most explicitly direct is Mortilus of the Guiding Hand from the 2005 IDW, and then there's Unicron himself -Lord of Chaos, Chaos Bringer, and Planet Eater.
Primus and Unicron are stated to be brother-twin entities. Opposites, yet equals.
His self-proclaimed mission is to end all creation, which is very ironic considering he is a being of Chaos. The spark of that brings forth Life. Unless that's the point. He is the Bringer -the harbinger of Chaos, so he is the embodiment of Death and Finality; the End before the Beginning.
So if Unicron is steadfast in his role of Uncreation or the herald of the ending/beginning cycle, then now it raises the interesting question in TFP, what if Earth is its own entity?
In the wise words of the mushroom meme: Decay is an extant form of Life.
Because would make so much sense:
This would neatly tie into the Autobots' confusion and dismissal over the many Earthen inhabitants' biological necessity and/or enjoyment to eat other creatures and living byproducts. (This raises questions about the lack of dietary options and possibly a far more limited fauna and flora amongst modern Cybertron.)
As well as the nature of Earth and its inhabitants since Death and Chaos touches many associated concepts: conflict, renewal, rejuvenation, evolution, illness, decay, destruction, change, regression, mortality, and so much more.
Could have been incorporated into the mythos of the Age of Antiquity, and a linkage to Optimus’ past as Orion Pax’s role of an archivist. There are very, very few things that Optimus could truly keep of his old self, so perhaps he would enjoy looking into databanks and open-access libraries. This could have opened dialogue with their human charges on the differences and similarities between the strict strata of Cybertron and the role of the internet in the modern day.
It would fill in the plot hole of Unicron, somehow not destroying the world when he switched to a bipedal mode, nor does he have a fondness for any creature of Earth.
(The place most likely galls him since there is life even at the most extreme conditions on the planet, and the dominant lifeforms mimic his brother-twin's own creations.)
Patterns form and patterns break, but some Laws are absolute. So by Unicron's own nature, Earth was born to follow the cycle of the universe. (Or unknowingly formed in his slumber to keep his own self alive. Otherwise, Unicron shall become obsolete.)
So not only Earth is deep in the galactic-equivalent of the boonies, this planet is the Cybertronian-equal of Space Australia.
Which becomes even far more terrifying should the cyberization process have been successful because Earth is not Cybertron. It is its own entity. It would look at these newcomers and say Challenge Accepted on nightmare mode.
Truly worthy to be classified as a Death Planet.
And on a side note: If Megatronus Prime was the closest reflection of Unicron by Primus’ own hand, then would that mean he was supposed to fulfill a role or be an Aspect of Death on Cybertron? Anon, my mind is reeling here!

The Monsters of Project Link Up
Shonen Jump Power Linkage + Great Six of The West Coast + Defenders of Europe:
Despairiuses- Summoned not by the villain linkers, but by Shadius’ most powerful generals- including Thanoro, his advisor. They’re born from the negative energy in people’s hearts. The ones with corrupted Prism Orbs in their bodies are more powerful.
Super Smash Bros. Power Linkage:
Despairiuses- They’re just like the ones in Shonen Jump Power Linkage, but with a twist. The ones who have an orb of light on their body are the ones who have been summoned by Galeem’s mercenaries, while the ones who have a dragon’s eye of sorts have been summoned by Dharkon’s mercenaries.
Cookie Run Sugar Linkage:
Desweeteners- Summoned by the Cookies of Darkness and their Linkers, as well as the members of Shade Sweet. They’re born from the corrupted hearts of people and desserts alike and take on the form of what the victim loves most.
Genshin Impact Elemental Linkage:
Erebians- Monsters summoned by the Fatui Harbingers. They’re often formed from the darkness inside of people and often take the forms of what that person loves.
Disney Dream Linkage + Kingdom Hearts: Linkage of Fate:
Negativians- Summoned by most Disney Villains and their linkers. Created from the darkness in people’s hearts. They look eerily like The Heartless- they might even be related to em!
Chaotians- Can only be summoned by Bill Cipher, Chernabog, and a few other characters. Created from people’s hearts when they’re fully consumed by darkness.
Heartless and Unversed- Can be summoned by Xenahort and any other Kingdom Hearts villain. They mostly have yellow eyes and are the corruptions of people’s hearts. Believe me, they’re not ones to mess with.
Octonauts Oceanic Linkage:
Abyssians- Can be summoned by the Deepwater Mercenaries. They’re often made when a normal object (Such as a Beach Ball) gets corrupted with negative energy.
Transformers LinkSpark:
Rustdroids- Can be summoned by the Decepticons and their Linkers, as well as The Order of Unicron. They’re often summoned from a normal object when it gets corrupted with Dark Energon.
Balan Wonderworld: Linkage of Balance:
Nega Bosses- Monsters that are the embodiment of corrupted people’s hearts who have fallen out of balance. They can mostly be summoned by Lance, but can also be summoned by The Obscurity Rivals ( @lovelyteng ). The only exception to these enemies are the Nega Bosses of the Inhabitants, who have already been defeated.
Overwatch Power Linkage:
Talonzer- Corrupted versions of normal objects that are summoned by members of Talon. They can range from being decently good in battle (A tree) to just asking for trouble (A double decker bus).
Brawl Stars Battle Linkage:
Glitchborgs- Summoned by Dr. Emery Starr ( @lovelyteng ) and his mercenaries. They’re born from the mixture of a corrupted person’s heart and a nearby object.
Sanrio Dream Linkage:
Worseners- Summoned by The Ribbon Raiders. They’re often created from normal objects that have been infused with dark energy.
Nickelodeon Unity Linkage:
Bleakstroyers- Creatures born from the corrupted hearts of people. They’re often a manifestation of the darkness inside people, and they’re a mix of what that person loves plus negative energy.
Cartoon Network Unity Linkage:
Shadelings- Evil monsters created from negative energy. They’re often a mixture of what that person loves and the essence of evil itself. Plus, they can range from being your average home wrecker to a massive threat.
Dreamworks Dream Linkage:
Negativians-Just like in Disney Dream Linkage, Negativians are created from the darkness in people’s hearts. But however, these ones have a twist- they have motifs that are related to the villain-linker pair who summoned them. Take for example- the Negativians Pitch Black summons are made of black sand.
Illumination Dream Linkage:
Negativians- Once again, these creatures are born from the darkness in people’s hearts. But this time around, the victim is forcefully put into the cage and their negative energy fuses with an inanimate object. Plus, the villains have some insane summoning animations.
Vocaloid Harmony Linkage + PriPara Harmony Linkage + Aikatsu Harmony Linkage + Love Live Harmony Linkage + BanG Dream Harmony Linkage + Project Sekai Harmony Linkage:
The Voiceless- Demonic creatures born from the negative energy of people and the stuff they love. Some can be as harmless as an iPod to being as devastating as a subwoofer. They often have technology motifs in Vocaloid Harmony Linkage + Project Sekai Harmony Linkage, Idol and Ribbon motifs in PriPara Harmony Linkage + Aikatsu Harmony Linkage, and Star motifs in Love Live Harmony Linkage + BanG Dream Harmony Linkage. Each can be summoned by the villains of their installments.
Touhou Project Unity Linkage:
Yami-Kai: Japanese Mythology inspired creatures that are created when a normal object is corrupted by The Order of Yomi. They can vary in appearance from a massive Shrine Gate to a colossal radio tower. Needless to say, they aren’t to be messed with.
There will be more to come, so stay patient!

The cross-fandom phenomenon strikes again! Was watching Transformers: Prime tonight and I wondered who was playing Unicron the Harbinger of Darkness, so I paused to read the credits and low and behold, he was voiced by John Noble. That’s two villains in two fandoms now, I’m sure he’s really a lovely person in reality but my brain recognizes him as a superb villain actor. 😈🎭

and here’s the last one phew
Ion Storm: despite taking the JAAT’s entrance exams along with Acid Storm and Nova Storm, Ion Storm didn’t pass like his trinemates did. It doesn’t bother him much, not really. He’s happy for the opportunity his siblings have, and going to a regular school for his caste is alright. He just feels a bit like the moron of the group when so many other Safeguard Aerie got in and he didn’t. It’s almost intimidating when he visits the campus to see his trine and other siblings like Sunstorm. He just kind of wishes he could change a little bit, be better, or at least be less self conscious. Adapt, yknow?
Adaptus: blessed by Solomus with higher power from Unicron, Ion Storm turns into Adaptus. Suddenly he has a whole world of possibilities open to him, all these new forms and faces, more numerous even than every mech combined! He could become anything, anyone, could be the Grand Architect himself, and will take the form of an entire city if he has to, all so these poor lost disciples will hear the good news from a familiar friendly face. They are to be saved! Listen to him, for he is a harbinger of changing times, when the Guiding Hand will fix them all!

I have more ideas for Cult of the Primes (also considering other posts of this AU you post between me starting to type and me sending it in):
Maybe the cities dedicated to Megatronus and Prima are kinda swapped for a lack of a better term.
Like, Primes who succeed from Kaon/Megatronus's city are known for being some of the best Primes Cybertron (Primus's side) has seen and the city has exactly one known heretic that practically legend at this point, explaining why Kaon doesn't bring any more heretic Primes to Primus. They live in one of the harshest environment Cybertron can throw at them and they believe (and maybe it's basically proven) that worshipping Primus and Megatronus will protect their home from disaster.
Meanwhile, Primes who succeed from Iacon/Prima's city get some doubt from other cities whether or not they have Primus's best interests in mind considering the city has the most heretics. Like, 21 of the heretics were originally from Iacon and the next closest number is eight. The land Iacon inhabits is very bountiful, but they blame the fact they're close to the Unicron-worshipping cities as the reason why they have so many heretics. The rest of the cities don't really believe they because Vos is closer to a Unicron-worshipping city than Iacon and Vos only showed like four heretics. No where near the same amount as Iacon. Gossip mills say it's because mecha from Iacon are jealous of the other cities due to their prime being the so-called "first Prime" or even the fact that their city produces the most out of all the cities and should get special treatment. However, "it's just gossip, there's no reason to believe that" so it could easily be something else.
I can't for the life of me find the list we made for which Prime is for which city, but maybe each city produces something different that's traded with the rest of their side of Cybertron. Like, maybe Solus's city focuses on mining and smithing various tools made of the metal and gems they harvest from the mines like metal farm tools or gemstone jewelry. Maybe Megatronus's city has old coliseums and tunnels that they use to train various animals to help other cities with their jobs like cryo-pigeons with delivering messages through environments where comms aren't an option or volt-horses for helping pull equipment around. Stuff like that.
I might come up with more stuff later, but I don't have any other ideas right now so.
Heretics are to be rooted out, captured, and dragged in to be sacrificed and burned at the temples if they refuse to change their ways. Any who challenge the wills of the gods must not be allowed to proliferate, to spread their noxious ideals. If a heretic is found in your community, shoo them away and call for the church to bring judgement upon them, lest you be infected with their heresy and dragged down into the pits of hellfire for all eternity with them
Iacon having lots of these heretics despite being stationed just above the beating heart of Primus is so interesting. I like the idea of it being due to close proximity to Unicron's worshippers, but it doesn't really work with in-universe lore. After all, if they know that there are settlements that worship the Harbinger of Chaos... it wouldn't last long. The church would burn it to the ground and have them publicly executed for their crimes against the holy matrix
I'm also definitely here for the cities each having special commodities they produce correlating to their gods. Tesarus, the city of Solus Prime, is a city of artisans that treasure devotion through creation over all else. Everything they make is filled to the brim with their love for their goddess, endless praise and penace upon her holy name. Fine sculptures, vases, tapestries, weaponry, anything and everything that can be made by hand is best crafted in Tesarus 😌 I imagine Kaon as a city of warriors, with Megatronus Prime being their patron deity, Guardian of Warriors, and definitely one of the cities that has routine ritualistic sacrifices, in part due to the famous story of how Solus Prime was felled by their god's hand. Maybe they even have to offer a sacrifice to Tesarus, or vice versa, because of it 🤔 definitely smthn to consider
And finally, depending on whether or not we go with the sacrificial bride of Unicron idea, Kaon could perhaps have that aforementioned reputation due to their city producing two Holy Acolytes in a short span of time, one of whom later ascended to Sainthood. Kaon gets painted in a ridiculously good light, if we go that route

I am vividly reminded that as of the current timeline, around nearly years have passed since the unicron arc up until let's say the start of the Tarn and Fallen fiasko. This got much longer than expected, and i admit this isn't new information but a collection of previously established information organized into a timeline because uwu time periods. I will heavily rely on @ivycorp 's contributions, as I'm gonna be real they're the reason the TFP au exists, are very great at writing, and pretty much the coowner of this au.
(Technically, I wasn't going to include this, but Hazard arrived very shortly after the cosmic rust plague episode and a little bit after when Megatron woke up. This is because they are a fucking bloodhound when it comes to plagues and chemical weaponry.)
Orion was on the Nemesis in the Orion arc for, let's say three at minimum five maximum? months. [Remembering our forgotten games happens at some point in here, happens at some point around here, and I'm betting this becomes a whole hidden thing for a lot of the Orion arc— this will have consequences] About halfway through this the Elite triad arrives and there's a whole emotional thing once Optimus regains his memories and comes back.
Their little extra spicy dance lasted a While before Soundwave's revenge began, before that the Decepticons got more attached to earth culture, I would also say that lasted around six months enough for the 'cons to get used to Megatron's flustered and horny antics. So that places us at around eleven months max?
At the beginning of Optimus's emotional renaissance and increasingly awkward battles is when Dreadwing arrives and almost immediately fucks off into the woods. Soundwave bridges Arachnid into the Atlantic ocean to rust at the bottom of the sea, she survives on the Harbinger for a while, finds the Insecticons as she has a bridge key, and fucks off into the middle of Australia to set up the hive (which becomes very energon lucrative) Wheeljack arrived with Dreadwing, and stays around a little longer with Boyfriend Bulkhead than canon.
More towards the mid mark, Shockwave is revealed to be very alive and comes down on Earth. He drags a half baked Predaking with him, to nobody's knowledge just yet. [About when Colleagues with very enjoyable benefits is set] Juncee begins here with Sweet and Tenative Hope and it's so goddamn sweet. Pharma (and very quickly Tarn and the DJD) around the mid mark finds his way onto Earth on an escape pod actually. [This is when Rival Exes who at least pretend not to have feelings with each other happens uwu] He's very stern on Not leaving the base, and eventually everyone picks up the vibe that he's got unpleasant history with Tarn. Nobody questions this just yet, and we focus more on the Breakout, Megop, and continuing Ratchma antics. [Permanent honeymoon is placed in this section] This is around when the vehicon couple who had ran during season one and lived on the downed Eros get caught and offlined.
Closer to the end of the spicy battlefield dance arc, Everyone's starting to get very tired of the exponentially increasing Battlefield Megop. This is actually the first time the humans witness Megatron with a visor and when ge finally gets to pin Optimus— and then proceeds to get struck by lightning. They do not see Megs with a visor again for quite a while, because he's a stubborn asshole and forgets them more often then not. [And they were exes at war (oh my god they were exes at war!) Is placed here]. Exactly pretty much immediately after that are the events of [Megatron & his servo], which begins the glorious Soundwave's revenge arc!
[This is when I mention that Following the pull that bound us together (I will not let go) by far spans the most time, starting somewhat before Orion first heard of Megatronus alllllllll the way until the night after the fateful comm call that lead to the Soundwave's revenge arc lol]
The whole Tarn fanfiction ordeal likely started around when the guy first arrived and decided to turn in fics instead of reports. The domino effect of Soundwave and Starscream saying nothing of this for a while, KO and Breakdown learning through a loopy seeker and sharing unofficial information on the GC, Tarn turning in more fics, and eventually Star being allowed onto the GC and he comes bestowing an absolute archive of Megatarnma fics— of which Fowler immediately sees and that's hilarious. Quickly at the start of Soundwave's revenge arc, Megatron (who is distinctly not in the GC) has so many backlogged reports to do under Soundwave's supervision and this is when he learns of the fanfiction. Tarn, who is also not in the GC, spends quite a while longer completely ignorant of anyone knowing of his secret fantasy love triangle. [Detailed in the events of Tarn's imaginary love life - and the repercussions of his self-insert fanfiction] Let's be real this is another reason nobody on the Nemesis likes Tarn.
The Soundwave's revenge arc lasted a good four weeks. The Soundwave's revenge arc (calling it this is more if a misnomer by the end, as the revenge part fades quite a lot once they learn how much of a disaster Megatrons's internals are) is around when Miko started making a game of Houdiniing her way onto the Nemesis, naturally. Megatron is pretty much confined to the medbay for a nice while. At thr beginning of this Soundwave decides it's time to involve Swindle into this, and he arrives pretty soon as his one man ship The Hustle which is specifically customized his small stature and being fast arrives. [Quickly after this arrival I'm betting the events of Of holograms, galas, and unexpected guests happen] [This is also around when the powerpoint in Life on the Nemesis for the majority of its crew is shown, with the one vehicon that gets mentioned likely having been assigned to Hazard duty (mind the pun) in the mid to end spicy battlefield dance arc] Also among events is Dreadwing's rather gory death via the DJD, with bits of him being left across multiple countries.
At the three week mark Megatron gets his quarters back, and this only lasts three days. Then which Starscream half blows herself up live on stream thanks to Megatron's little problem distracting her. Megatron's newly returned private Quarters privileges get revoked, again. Rather quickly after this, Optimus's surprise visit happens. The toys get burned (by Primus not the toys!), the absolutely dope and iconic 2 v 1 fight occurs, annnd that ends in the charred remains of Orion and 'Tronus's collection are left on the battlefield. [As the events of When your nemesis is no longer coming to fight you in the field]
[ Megatron as a patient, or how Soundwave tries to not go insane with his leader’s unfortunate addiction to a certain Prime spans all the way from the start of Soundwave's revenge to the tail end of it]
But, eventually the autobots do learn, giving us another stretch of time as Silverlight's existence prompts a very important treaty and negotiations and "how much do you want me involved with childcare" conversations that need to happen. I'm gonna say this lasts a good three four months? Putting us at 18 to 19 months, around a year and three quarters. During quite an amount of this there's the whole extra protective Megatron stuff and the medics' antics to get checkups on both of them (... and hell, once they do that it's Optimus's turn) Tarn's starting to get super agitated and asks a lot of questions that nobody gives him a straight answer for, the rest of the DJD can kind of sense this and it blows up in everyone's face soon.
At some point, Megatron regains his quarters, and no more incidents seem to have occured or he was just quiet enough about it these times.
This is actually likely when the Grabbening occured, and honestly this is something I've been really itching to talk about more because it's a whole situation. I can see this being an ambush (that on the Decepticons' part is on accident, they did nOT know that there would be autobots out here) with Jazz and Elita, also naturally including Arcee and Bumblebee. It's the first time anyone besides Optimus has seen Megatron, and there's a serious initial fear of "oh FUCK, Megatron is not only here but we don't have Megatron aaaaand the kids and Fowler came with us frag frag frag—", at least until they notice how he isn't on his game. Like, time to start cracking half serious terrorcon and zombie jokes time. Hazard is also here, a rare sight on the battlefield, and absolutely terrorizes the hell out of the humans. The autobots immediately call for a groundbridge,, Soundwave tracks Megatron who's most definitely not supposed to be out of the medbay who the fuck let him outside for a flight, and sends out a bridge as well (don't worry this one isn't very close to the autobots' bridge, no shadowzone adventures for today). Everyone hears thunder, and as is Cybertronian policy to immediately GTFO and there's convenient bridges right there (Megatron, who's already certainly feeling like a terrorcon, actuallyis avoiding being struck by lightning! What an occurrence!). The catch being at least a few Decepticons having bluescreen moments and grabbing all four humans and booking it back to the Nemesis. Because naturally Knockout, Starscream, and Soundwave own the functioning processor components right now. There's a whole discussion about this the moment they get back, with so much arguing in Neocybex that the humans at this point have only vaguely learned some of. The humans are only on the ship for a good twelve hours because certainly the autobots are afraid as hell. Miko isn't because Miko is bold as hell, and at this point has somewhat desensitized Soundwave to her presence. Hazard drags Fowler to their lab with the intent to run experiments onto him and the kids are just kinda vaguely near the commanders. More terrorcon Megatron jokes ensue, because all he wants to do right now is make the most of his re reinstated quarters privileges. Fowler discovers the lost vehicon, (who i now dub Sidewinder because ykw ykw we've mentioned this guy enough that he deserves a two part name) which is a whole thing because he's gotten attached to them. Soundwave, who upon learning that Hazard has gotten the vehicons' favorite human and those guys are making a convincing case. Soundwave comes to the rescue for Fowler and Sidewinder, most certainly scruffs Hazard because of the rules violations he sees immediately upon entering the lab. The other vehicons actually nab both Sidewinder and Fowler, and it's a whole thing about rushing the mech to quarantine and frantically thanking both Soundwave and Fowler for rescuing him. Eventually, the autobots find their way onto the Nemesis and boy do the humans have a story to tell. This would also explain why in the sparkling fic Soundwave would've been pretty concerned about Megatron getting off the ship (btw he bribed Breakdown with string lights, the really good multicolored ones, and by pleading him to let him fly. Megan had no intention to give him the lights but Soundwave much exactly went in and got them for Breaky)
The surprise child is revealed after some missed appointments (likely merely a week). Around this point the neutral hired theraputic medic Rung arrives in the Chance, and upon the first visit he's pretty surprised at the emotional support sparkling. Also around this point, Tarn's presence is being slowly less and less tolerated on the Nemesis but let's be real that's also because of his one sided and slightly scary rivalry with the beep beep jeep, and the knowledge that he's most definitely still writing Megatarnma fics. At some point in what I'm now dubbing the beginning of the Oh Shit A Child arc, Swindle cut a deal with the Autobots with trading earth based luxury goods for Cybertronian luxury goods he has obtained. Surprisingly this does actually go fairly well for both parties, and neither betrays the other.
I'm betting the autobots didn't learn about the sparkling for hear this yet for another threeish months because wow they didn't want to deal with the awkwardness of telling them. I haven't quite decided how, exactly, but dear Primus it is juicy. At some point, Megatron is allowed back on the bridge and is a little less obsessively territorial with his sparkling. Which leads to so many cute interactions where he's holding Silverlight and mecha try to hide their gawking at a respectable distance. So 13-14 months? Tarn, at this point, is just... not allowed on the Nemesis. He's too dangerous and unpredictable to be around something so vulnerable and way important to their leader who already has notorious murderous leanings. Swindle is pretty relieved at this because i mean he definitely doesn't like being grabbed, and Knockout is glad because it means he doesn't have to treat another one of Tarn's stab wounds from said picking up.
Inevitably, Tarn learns of Silverlight and is very not happy that it threatens his fantasy. The Fallen sees this and thinks "okay finally we can get all of this moving a little faster" ... this may also be because I'm thinking thoughts about how Tarn's Voice has an impact on the Fallen even through the dimensional barrier. Sure, not Nearly as strong as it would be on a complete mortal, but it's somewhat an influence. He may be manipulating Tarn much easier than he did in canon with Steeljaw, but he cannot deny that this Tarn has more power than previously thought. The demigod is not used to being dare I say scared after millennia of being trapped. This is when Tarn's darkness in this au starts to really become apparent.
In this short time period in the first month or so after his discovery, Tarn's scorn is limited to quite a few savior fics fics involving Optimus and the sparkling. But eventually there is a public outburst where he sees Pharma for the first time in ages, and Pharma outright states that nobody loves Tarn, especially not Megatron nor himself, and that he honestly couldn't see why anyone could love Tarn. Which, might've been a shitty thing to say but this is when the events of Delphi get revealed so. Aaaand this is when Tarn, before openly threatens Megatron, Optimus, Pharma, Ratchet, and the sparkling (because let's be real Tarn has really and truly snapped at this point, and is willing to do just about anything to get what he wants.)
This will not end well for him.
So... that totals up (using the maximum ranges of the numbers i stated up above, naturally this will not be exact, and since this au is absolutely open to you guys' input as well, I'm fully willing to hear any of y'all's thoughts on the timeline and what you think should be changed to make more sense) bringing us to roughly a little over a year and a half 😁
Originally I was going to include all the way until the end of the Tarn and fallen fiasko, but it got so damn long i didn't have the energy to elaborate on that. But, for context, there's that, there's the events between it and the war over party, what happens beyond that and before the insecticons come up (which i imagine smack dab in the middle of that time period is the discovery about the true nature of the additive), the insecticon stuff, a lil gap between that, a relatively short ordeal with MECH and after that... afterward is pretty much the happy ending

T R Y P T I C O N
No one knows where Trypticon originally came from. Texts from hidden sources cite that the large mechanism might have been the original creation of the first of the Primes, while others regard his presence as the harbinger of Unicron's return.
What is known is that for eons during the Golden Age, and then the subsequent Age of Rust- the metrotitan had all but lain in slumber and untouched as an orbiting science station on the highest geosynchronous orbit around Cybertron itself. No one's quite sure how, or when he awakened- but somewhere between the battle at Sherma, and the incursion at Tyger Pax- the titan had come to life.
He would have preferred to remain neutral, staying out of the affairs of others- but manipulation by Bludgeon to his personality cortex had resulted in little more than a crazed mechanical barely handled by even the most brilliant of Cybertronians.
Even odder than his sudden awakening, and resulting insanity- is the sudden clarity at which he'd returned to himself. Megatron's loquaciousness and the treatment of the Autobots to other sects of their society caused him to radicalize himself, following the Decepticon banner- even if he didn't quite believe in all of it.
It was better than becoming nothing more than a living science station once more. He doesn't quite care for Metroplex's slavish devotion to the Autobots, nor does he care for the return of the neutrals that had considered his kind and himself nothing more than a creature to be controlled.
In fact, one of the only few mechanisms he feels any kinship with is—
— Grimlock.

Trypticon has three forms: root, defense, and transportation.
Root Mode:
Like Metroplex, Trypticon is heavier in the chest and arms- a mechanism built and manufactured for long-range exploration and gathering.
Holding cells in the depths of his subspace can contain vast amounts of both ore and supplies, as well as containing environmental systems precise enough to handle organic and fragile specimens. His faceplate is scarred, old damage that was repaired- but not replaced. Gold optics, instead of red, regard the world guardedly- and with no small amount of suspicion.
His color schema for his nanites is of course: purple, black, silver, and gold.
Defense Mode:
Tumblr media
This one is perhaps the most common, and frightening. His assault mode is that of a ginormous organically inspired prehistoric animal. Originally, his defense mode had been more of a flying fortress- but he found out that he quite enjoyed this more for it's agility.
And the relative ability to cause a certain amount of trepidation.
Transportation Mode:
Tumblr media
When not in either root or defense mode, Trypticon can assume that of an interstellar warship by the moniker of Nemesis.

VERSES:
Current: The war is over, and Trypticon is once again trying to find his footing in the aftermath of a war-torn Cybertron. His brief stint with the Decepticons has left him held in high suspicion with the Autobots, and his departure from the Cons has left them in contempt of him.
He is something of a stranger in a strange land, with no home.
At the moment, he's settled out in where the wastes once were- using his impressive gear-set to mine what he can out of the dust there for energon and minerals. Anyone that has come near him, save for Grimlock and the rest of the Dinobots have all but been rebuffed.
Other verses:
TFP- to be contingent upon request.
G1 - to be contingent upon request.
War for Cybertron - to be contingent upon request.
Shattered Glass - to be contingent upon request.

Tales of Cybertronia Yeah I’m gonna hang onto this crack theory until it spreads like wildfire (and probably becomes canon in a comic like all transformers fan content if we’re being real here)
Sideways (Not the dimension hopping asshole with contradictory origins) was a creation of Unicron and his only surviving creation, or perhaps his only creation. Either way due to the fighting of the Primes on Axiom and some actions from Amalgamous Prime he forgot that he was Unicron’s little harbinger of destruction. Heck it’s possible that he forgot his original name ... if he had one.
Anyway stuck on Axiom for millions upon millions of years had made him into a sort of strange guardian that fucks with the people that eventually evolved on the planet, or a warning of war and death ... it’s all confusing and contradictory. But what’s not confusing or contradictory is that as the peoples of Axiom developed their technology Sideways stole some it and invented a holographic, hard light avatar for which he can more intimately interact with the world with. Going by the name Lailah he relished in annoying people by telling them bad puns and giving them red herrings. However something changed in Sideways when he started taking on the “Lailah” Persona more and more and he didn’t like that. So he doubled down on his nastier traits and created a completely different avatar in Emil. (Because remember, Ratatosk is Onyx Prime in this AU and the guy is alive and running around.) However he created himself another problem of a different side of himself wanting to take over. So he stole a bunch of technology from the ancient peoples of Axiom and built a pair of androids and implanted those personalities into them. However there was a little ... oversight that made Emil switch between the intended nasty personality and a more polite and timid personality. Lailah was fine. So he then set them loose in the world. Though as an ... unexpected consequence putting those aspects into their own bodies it freed up the memories that Sideways had locked away. So he left Axiom for places unknown.
And thus Lailah and Emil were left to watch over Axiom as the ancient civilization fell and get replaced with a new one and saw the Cybertronian refugees touchdown on earth. They still don’t know what happened with Sideways but deep down they have a gut feeling that for whatever reason he left it wasn’t good.
Oh and if Emil or Lailah died they go back to Sideway’s mind but if Sideways dies they both die.

Transformers Heroes Of Cybertron 2002 - Decepticon Cyclonus - Function: Saboteur - Cyclonus is an emotionless air-warrior forged from the remnants of damaged Decepticons. Like his commander Galvatron, he derives vast resources of power and energy through Unicron. A dedicated Decepticon harbinger, Cyclonus is 100% soldier capable of space worthy flight for interstellar pursuit and warfare. Stoic, brooding, and at times intimidating, Cyclonus has no known weaknesses.

Do transformers practice religion? If so, what kind of religions?
Dear Pious Petitioner,
Certainly we do, and the number of circuit sects followed by our people across the multiverse seems uncountable. Surely you have heard tell of groups such as the Accelerationists, the Acolytes of Unicron, the City Speakers, the Clavis Aurea, the Cult of the Black Epoch, the Cyberutopians, the Functionists, the Disciples of Boltax, the Harbingers of the Storm, the High Priests of K'th Kinsere, the Neoprimalists, the Reversionists, the Spectralists or the Way of Flame? All of these circuit sects and more have existed in different forms throughout the universe. Some are monotheistic, others take a more polytheistic or henotheistic philosophy.
It seems that when people come into contact with the divine, whether Cybertronian or human, they most often seek to make a religion out of it.
