Why is Merchandising Important?
Merchandising affects so many different aspects of your retail operations that it could make or break your business. Merchandising a product is becoming increasingly necessary where there are more products than ever. The advertising also creates a lot of noise that a brand has to sieve through to reach customers. Therefore, working at the first step, where they buy the merchandise from is the right way. But let’s be specific, here are a few reasons why merchandising is important.
It can also lead to improved exposure- Usually, the brand spends a lot of money on advertisements or posters, that customers barely notice. It is merchandising activities of giving discounted goods, promotional samples, and combo offers that stick with them. Merchandise with your logo will create better recall in their minds, and you might end up with loyal customers.
Increasing brand recognition- Frequent merchandising activities will not only make your customers look forward to such activities, but also come back to you looking for more. For them, the brand value and product value is enhanced if they are given offers and incentive to buy your products. More importantly, you might also get a lot of word-of-mouth advertisements from your customers if they are happy with you.
Low-cost and effective marketing- When your customers know your brand from the performance of the product, and they are more likely to come back. For them, if the product works, the brand becomes a favorite. This is why merchandising is extremely effective and low-cost.
Merchandising the right way helps with increased sales, better customer satisfaction, more time in-store, faster-moving inventory, increased customer loyalty, better brand recognition, more effective promotions and increased employee productivity. Online stores like TAFE TRIBE have the best merchandising strategy, if you are looking for tractor merchandise, check out the website and enjoy the shopping experience of tractor merchandise products. It is by far the most helpful and organized tractor merchandise store India.

Just found out you can’t turn off anonymous ask privileges using the tumblr app?
The top paragraph (4.) is from “Enabling asks: To enable the ask feature on the web:” and in the app, the only option you have is to stop receiving asks altogether. This is absurd and unacceptable.
Tumblr media
Even if a non-“Tumblr user” doesn’t have the app, they can still send asks from a desktop website and have the anonymous messages arrive in the inbox of mobile users, asks they might not wish to receive. Please patch this.

it's time for yet another year of chanukah ratings! that's right folks here are my Very Important Ratings of chanukah memorabilia (or, as I wrote last year with the pun of the century, menorabilia) for this year. Buckle up everyone for a wild ride!
Tumblr media
none of these have anything to do with chanukah, but as we all know, chanukah IS the jewish holiday of all time which means it's time to bring out every single piece of even vaguely jewish-related merchandise! 5/10 the transliterations are incorrect
Tumblr media
this is most likely a translation error but the thing is I still don't know what was supposed to be there. I want this pillow. I'm gonna start peppering this into my conversations. 7/10 many menorah!
Tumblr media
oh no. no no no. why is there always at least one of these. I'm so tired. we have never wanted jewish santa. actually this looks like regular santa just stole those items from a jewish household. maybe santa IS christian after all! 1/10 santa has descended into a life of crime and thievery
Tumblr media
it's very funny to me that to goyim chanukah is the live laugh love peace light and joy holiday because of the ~pretty lights~ when in reality it's about a rebellious uprising against our oppressors. AND latkes. 4/10 why is the t in latkes lowercase
Tumblr media
no no you see the big floating magen dovid behind thomas jefferson isn't antisemitic, it's just a friendly reminder that jews control the banks! -102938473732/10 hey walmart what the fuck
Tumblr media
I for one am ready to accept the hanukkah armadillo as part of the tribe. unfortunately the designers of this were cowards and didn't even give him a kippah or menorah. 6/10 free the menoradillo from bland christmas capitalism and give him a latke
Tumblr media
this feels like an advertisement for "I Spy". the menorah isn't kosher. aladdin's lamp is there for some reason. is he jewish? good for him. mizrachi jewish icon. 5/10 scroll back up and read the hebrew
Tumblr media
I saved the best for last purely because Tis The Season of the Boob Donuts. once you notice the Boob Donut you can't escape. that's not even how jelly donuts are filled and yet, here we are. 9/10 for boobs and no christmas imagery

TCF Modern AU Character Checklist (Official)
RIDI, one of the Korean publishers of TCF/LCF, recently released new ebook volumes for TCF. The volume set consisted of volumes 10-18, spanning chapters 201-398 of Part 1. And RIDI added a "Character Checklist" as the exclusive bonus content for buying the volume set.
What is this character checklist about? It's just a list of things that the characters are most likely to do or prefer. But it is set in a modern AU (alternate universe) setting.
Those who want to purchase official merchandise can head over to RIDI to buy the new ebooks. You can get a 10% discount and a 5000 won coupon if you participate in the event, so the cost for the new volume set will only be 24,160 won. But be aware that this is only in the Korean language. There is no official English ebook for TCF. 🥲
The new ebooks included new novel covers. For volumes 1 - 9, they changed the ebook cover to this:
Tumblr media
And for volumes 10-18, the new ebook cover is this:
Tumblr media
Because the character checklist is not publicly available for free, I will only post a quick summary of it.

Witira being a heavy drinker is a pun related to her race as a whale tribe. Sulgorae (술고래) is a figurative expression for a heavy drinker. It’s a combination of the words 술 (alcohol) and 고래 (whale). English has a similar expression to it - drink like a fish
Making snow ducks is a trend in Korea. They use plastic tongs with a duck mold to create snow ducks. Some treat is a game where you make dozens of it fast as if printing out items in a factory, and line it up in a row.

Tteok-galbi is grilled short rib patties. Hmm, delicious~! 😋

Poetry for ALL
Some personal anecdotes and a plea follow...
As quite a few of you know, I’ve been engaged in disability awareness and rights campaigning and other work since sometime in the 90s, so when I was given an opportunity to support and host an event dedicated to making performance poetry as accessible as possible in 2018, I jumped on it.
Tumblr media
(image description in alt text)
Poetry for All is the brainchild (and heartchild, and soulchild) of Rose Drew, who I first met through one of Richard Tyrone Jones’s Utter events in London. She’s an extraordinary writer and performer, and a powerhouse of an events host and organiser. Within about 30 seconds of watching her on stage, I knew I wanted to be like her when I grew up as an artist. When she got in touch three years later to ask if I’d like to help out with what turned out to be the inaugural event, I threw myself into providing as much support as possible with enthusiastic abandon, and we pulled together a line-up which included the extraordinary performers Raymond Antrobus and DL Williams (“DeafFirefly”), both of whom I’d performed with before and was keen to see again.
Now, there’s a whole section on our new website about the history of the events where you can read the facts, but I want to say here that, personally, that first event in March 2018 (coincidentally on my birthday!) was an absolute eye-opener – seeing how poetry events could expand and develop the ideal of accessibility in ways I hadn’t considered. It was also extremely inspirational as I realised that, well, I was allowed to write about my disabilities. Seeing and hearing artist after artist sharing so much and so eloquently unlocked something in me that I didn’t even know I’d been repressing:
I’m allowed to be an openly disabled poet. I’m allowed to express my neurodivergence. I can tell my truth. 😱🤯
Bit of a culture-shock, but I owe so much to the poets and to Rose (and to Dave Wycherley, BSL interpreter extraordinaire – that’s a hard and physically/ mentally taxing job as it is, but to do that with poetry? on the fly?! breathtaking...) for helping me get to that starting point, knocking down the walls of my own internalised ableism.
So, apart from a paean to self-expression and why representation and finding tribe matters, and a screed of gratitude for new friends made and old friendships strengthened through the course of these events, why am I writing this? What’s with the hashtag? “Plea...?”
Well, so far, since you ask, all of our events have had local funding in York, where they’ve taken place exclusively so far. Rose applied for Arts Council England funding for this and next year for a tour comprising several venues and a host more disabled artists and BSL interpreters from various parts of the UK (all getting paid properly!), but we found out last week that we’d not got the money. Any of it. So our forthcoming event on 24th November in the gorgeous National Centre for Early Music is in jeopardy and, since the thought of Rose (herself a disabled artist on low wages) having to pay for this out of her own pocket was not to be supported, I threw myself at a plan of creating a (somewhat last-minute) Crowdfunder, so that we can at least pay for the venue, the artists’ and interpreters’ fees, the travel and accommodation expenses of those of us coming from out of town, and the costs of producing merchandise to sell. We’ll be producing an anthology in print and ebook form, as a joint publication between indie publishers Stairwell Books and Allographic Press. And, if we exceed our funding goal, there’ll be video and audio available of the event to boot!
We’ve created a frankly very exciting range of pledge rewards for people wanting to support us (all the way from £1 and £2 options, since money is tight, especially for disabled folk, right now, to more chunky ones like private mentoring, workshops, and a publishing package), and we’ve got three weeks(!) to raise our £1,500 to cover the shortfall from ticket and merch sales. Eeep! So, if you’re able to and would like to help us, we’d be ever so grateful. The campaign is here:
https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/poetry-for-all-2023-fundraiser
And if you have absolutely no funds to share with us at all, we’d be incredibly grateful if you shared on social media, with friends, on blogs, all of that!
Thanks for reading all this, and have a great day!

Elsa + Queen Disa VS Elsa + Honeymaren
A conversation about this before it turns into a discussion beyond what I'm seeing in my social circle.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The look of Queen Disa from the "Frozen Podcast" was recently revealed, and due to her interaction with Elsa in it, a new shipp is being born in the Frozen fandom: Elsa + Queen Disa.
I haven't watched the entire podcast yet, but I've seen some analyzes and in fact Elsa and Disa have a lot of interesting scenes: they start off having problems with each other because of their thoughts about magic and technology, they eventually end up helping each other (especially Disa helps Elsa), and in the end they really become friends, promising a new moment for them to meet. It's almost like "enemies to lovers".
And because Elsa + Honeymaren is the current shipp, it is obviously leading to a certain principle of rivalry. And a lot of people jumped on the theory that Elsa is a lesbian because of Elsa + Honeymaren, and now we have a new girl to steal some of the spotlight.
Tumblr media
I went through this myself in "Frozen 2" with the appearance of Elsa + Honeymaren to the detriment of Elsa + Marisol. As I said before, I had certain problems with "Frozen 2" at the beginning: I hated the separation of the sisters and that Marisol was technically replaced by Honeymaren. It took me a while to understand "Frozen 2" and accept ElsaMaren, and especially to understand that Honeymaren is the mainstream version of Marisol, the version that Disney could take to the cinema.
And so today we have an absence of the Northuldra tribe in material that precisely addresses the Enchanted Forest, and in Honeymaren's place we have Queen Disa who is appearing on the "Frozen Podcast" alongside her sisters.
A few days ago I made a post talking about the possibility that in “Frozen 3” instead of having an approximation of Elsa with Honeymaren, there would be an approximation of Elsa with an original woman, a more mainstream character and free for Disney to use in merchandising. And therefore be different from a woman linked to a tribe that exists in real life and that perhaps has some control over her image, as is perhaps the case with Honeymaren. And now we have Queen Disa.
I really don't believe that Queen Disa is in "Frozen 3", although a podcast released close to the franchise's anniversary is more mainstream than a book or a comic, I still don't think it's relevant enough to be the gateway to a character that it will be in a film... but I could be wrong, I never rule anything out.
Tumblr media
But unlike my initial problem with Honeymaren, I don't intend to create any resistance to the possibility of a new woman for Elsa. As long as it's a woman I have no problem.
And one last text about Elsa + Queen Disa vs Elsa + Honeymaren. Queen Disa and Honeymaren are almost opposites:
Disa seems to be much more extroverted while Honeymaren has already demonstrated that she has some problems speaking in public (Disney Magic Kingdoms).
Disa is a book girl, Honeymaren is a warrior.
Disa is knowledgeable in technology while Honeymaren has some knowledge in magic.
Disa is the girl of the city and modernity while Honeymaren is the girl of the forest and traditions.
Whether it was a coincidence or not, I found this interesting, and it's really easy to see Elsa pairing up with the two women: friendship beginning until an eventual romance.

The Tribe Collector’s Edition Screenplay
‘The Tribe’ has distinguished itself as a television series with truly cult status around the world. Almost 300 episodes were produced over 5 seasons. And the series heralded other Tribal activity, from soundtracks to albums to novel tie-ins. Including the bestselling works by A.J. Penn being ‘The Tribe: A New World’, ‘The Tribe: A New Dawn’ and ‘The Tribe: (R)Evolution’. Which are rather like seasons 6, 7 & 8 in the continuing saga. There has been much speculation about a sequel or a motion picture version which was explored in the enormously successful ‘Keeping the Dream Alive’ which was not only a Tribe memoir, but also a fascinating account of what occurred behind the scenes. It is also a compelling memoir of the creator of ‘The Tribe’ - as well as the founder of the Cloud 9 Screen Entertainment Group - who produced the iconic series. ‘The Tribe’ screenplay has an introduction, bringing the behind the scenes story right up to date to 2022 since the time ‘Keeping the Dream Alive’ was published. And the screenplay is a must read for ‘The Tribe’ fans to read. Along with anyone interested in the motion picture and television industries and what it takes to bring productions from conception to the silver screen.

Q&A:
How do you sign up/access sites that require JP address and phone number? A: I sign up to Tenso and use the address and number they provide. Most JP sites I've used accepts the address and phone number Tenso provides. None of the sites I've mentioned above require any sort of code to be sent to your Tenso phone number
How do you pay for the services that require JP bank accounts? A: I do not have any jp bank account and have only used my local (asean) bank account. I just pick a card and pray it's accepted by the payment site
Which site do you recommend the most for international fans? A: CL. Other than the fact that the contents are subbed, it is also the platform where you can openly post in other languages (not Japanese) whether in replies or live chats. I really encourage getting the Premium subscription to show LDH how international fans are supporting them.
What is the difference between Official Fan Club contents VS mobile sites? A: Mobile sites main contents are blog posts that are updated by members themselves so the contents mainly focus on individual members (good for people who are only fans of specific members of a group). Mobile site contents are also less formal (pictures/videos are not edited professionally). FC are mainly group-centered contents and the quantities are not as many as those that are posted in mobile sites. But no same contents are posted in both site. ※ Personal note: Mobile sites is worth your money more compared to FC
Tumblr media
END. Thank for checking this out and feel free to hit me up if you have any questions regarding these services/sites as I've had a chance to use most of them
(e.g: I can answer questions such as how to sign up to site A, what kind of contents members A, B, C post in their blog or how regularly they post blogs, or which VPN do I use when using site A or B. Unfortunately I can't help with any question regarding payment)
Let's try to support our boys where we can :) 👍

Okay, Trolls.
I fell straight into the fandom, and I wasn't a fan, but God, I LOVE BRANCH!! And I fell into fanfics.
When heck did he start a ship of Smurfette x Poppy and Branch x Hefty, (I'm not a fan of Creek, but I find his ship with Brainy cute) only when that happened and I'm a fan of The Smurfs, how come I barely found out?
And another thing Branch's brothers, oh my god, John Dory, Bruce, Clay and Floyd, they're just I don't know what to say I like it, they're great but they abandoned Branch and just aaaah!
I found someone who made a fanart of them living like other troll tribes from the second movie, I don't like the idea, I don't know maybe ask the creator for permission to do something with their idea if it's not much, although their concept is great!
I just needed to vent about this because I'm shutting up in everything that has to do with Trolls, god I don't buy merchandise because I can't afford the I just needed to vent about this because I'm quiet about everything that has to do with Trolls, god I don't buy merchandise because I don't have enough money 😅.

LETTERS FROM AN AMERICAN
April 7, 2024 (Sunday)
HEATHER COX RICHARDSON
APR 08, 2024
In August 1870 a U.S. exploring expedition headed out from Montana toward the Yellowstone River into land the U.S. government had recognized as belonging to different Indigenous tribes.
By October the men had reached the Yellowstone, where they reported they had “found abundance of game and trout, hot springs of five or six different kinds…basaltic columns of enormous size” and a waterfall that must, they wrote, “be in form, color and surroundings one of the most glorious objects on the American Continent.” On the strength of their widely reprinted reports, the secretary of the interior sent out an official surveying team under geologist Ferdinand V. Hayden. With it went photographer William Henry Jackson and fine artist Thomas Moran.
Banker and railroad baron Jay Cooke had arranged for Moran to join the expedition. In 1871 the popular Scribner’s Monthly published the surveyor’s report along with Moran’s drawings and a promise that Cooke’s Northern Pacific Railroad would soon lay tracks to enable tourists to see the great natural wonders of the West.
But by 1871, Americans had begun to turn against the railroads, seeing them as big businesses monopolizing American resources at the expense of ordinary Americans. When Hayden called on Congress to pass a law setting the area around Yellowstone aside as a public park, two Republicans—Senator Samuel Pomeroy of Kansas and Delegate William H. Clagett of Montana—introduced bills to protect Yellowstone in a natural state and provide against “wanton destruction of the fish and game…or destruction for the purposes of merchandise or profit.”
The House Committee on Public Lands praised Yellowstone Valley’s beauty and warned that “persons are now waiting for the spring…to enter in and take possession of these remarkable curiosities, to make merchandise of these bountiful specimens, to fence in these rare wonders so as to charge visitors a fee, as is now done at Niagara Falls, for the sight of that which ought to be as free as the air or water.” It warned that “the vandals who are now waiting to enter into this wonderland will, in a single season, despoil, beyond recovery, these remarkable curiosities which have required all the cunning skill of nature thousands of years to prepare.”
The New York Times got behind the idea that saving Yellowstone for the people was the responsibility of the federal government, saying that if businesses “should be strictly shut out, it will remain a place which we can proudly show to the benighted European as a proof of what nature—under a republican form of government—can accomplish in the great West.”
On March 1, 1872, President U. S. Grant, a Republican, signed the bill making Yellowstone a national park.
The impulse to protect natural resources from those who would plunder them for profit expanded 18 years later, when the federal government stepped in to protect Yosemite. In June 1864, Congress had passed and President Abraham Lincoln signed a law giving to the state of California the Yosemite Valley and nearby Mariposa Big Tree Grove “upon the express conditions that the premises shall be held for public use, resort and recreation.”
But by 1890 it was clear that under state management the property had been largely turned over to timber companies, sheep-herding enterprises, and tourist businesses with state contracts. Naturalist John Muir warned in the Century magazine: “Ax and plow, hogs and horses, have long been and are still busy in Yosemite’s gardens and groves. All that is accessible and destructible is rapidly being destroyed.” Congress passed a law making the land around the state property in Yosemite a national park area, and the United States military began to manage the area.
The next year, in March 1891, Congress gave the president power to “set apart and reserve…as public reservations” land that bore at least some timber, whether or not that timber was of any commercial value. Under this General Revision Act, also known as the Forest Reserve Act, Republican president Benjamin Harrison set aside timber land adjacent to Yellowstone National Park and south of Yosemite National Park. By September 1893, about 17 million acres of land had been put into forest reserves. Those who objected to this policy, according to Century, were “men [who] wish to get at it and make it earn something for them.”
Presidents of both parties continued to protect American lands, but in the late nineteenth century it was New York Republican politician Theodore Roosevelt who most dramatically expanded the effort to keep western lands from the hands of those who wanted only their timber and minerals.
Roosevelt was concerned that moneygrubbing was eroding the character of the nation, and he believed that western land nurtured the independence and community that he worried was disappearing in the East. During his presidency, which stretched from 1901 to 1909, Roosevelt protected 141 million acres of forest and established five new national parks.
More powerfully, he used the 1906 Antiquities Act, which Congress had passed to stop the looting and sale of Indigenous objects and sites, to protect land. The Antiquities Act allowed presidents to protect areas of historic, cultural, or scientific interest. Before the law was a year old, Roosevelt had created four national monuments: Devils Tower in Wyoming, El Morro in New Mexico, and Montezuma Castle and Petrified Forest in Arizona.
In 1908, Roosevelt used the Antiquities Act to protect the Grand Canyon.
Since then, presidents of both parties have protected American lands. President Jimmy Carter rivaled Roosevelt’s protection of land when he protected more than 100 million acres in Alaska from oil development. Carter’s secretary of the interior, Cecil D. Andrus, saw himself as a practical man trying to balance the needs of business and environmental needs but seemed to think business interests had become too powerful: “The domination of the department by mining, oil, timber, grazing and other interests is over.”
In fact, the fight over the public lands was not ending; it was entering a new phase. Since the 1980s, Republicans have pushed to reopen public lands to resource development, maintaining even today that Democrats have hampered oil production although it is currently, under President Joe Biden, at an all-time high.
The push to return public lands to private hands got stronger under former president Donald Trump. On April 26, 2017, Trump signed an executive order—Executive Order 13792—directing his secretary of the interior, Ryan Zinke, to review designations of 22 national monuments greater than 100,000 acres, made since 1996. He then ordered the largest national monument reduction in U.S. history, slashing the size of Utah’s Bears Ears National Monument by 85%—a goal of uranium-mining interests—and that of Utah’s Escalante–Grand Staircase by about half, favoring coal interests.
“No one better values the splendor of Utah more than you do,” Trump told cheering supporters. “And no one knows better how to use it.”
In March 2021, shortly after he took office, President Biden announced a new initiative to protect 30% of U.S. land, fresh water, and oceans areas by 2030, a plan popularly known as 30 by 30. Also in March 2021, Supreme Court chief justice John Roberts urged opponents of land protection to push back against the Antiquities Act, saying the broad protection of lands presidents have established under it is an abuse of power.
In October 2021, President Biden restored Bears Ears and Escalante–Grand Staircase to their original size. “Today’s announcement is not just about national monuments,” Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, a member of the Laguna Pueblo in New Mexico, said at the ceremony. “It’s about this administration centering the voices of Indigenous people and affirming the shared stewardship of this landscape with tribal nations.”
In 2022, nearly 312 million people visited the country’s national parks and monuments, supporting 378,400 jobs and spending $23.9 billion in communities within 60 miles of a park. This amounted to a $50.3 billion benefit to the nation’s economy.
But the struggle over the use of public lands continues, and now the Republicans are standing on the opposite side from their position of a century ago. Project 2025, the blueprint for a second Trump presidency, demands significant increases in drilling for oil and gas. That will require removing land from federal protection and opening it to private development. As Roberts urged, Project 2025 promises to seek a Supreme Court ruling to permit the president to reduce the size of national monuments. But it takes that advice even further.
It says a second Trump administration “must seek repeal of the Antiquities Act of 1906.”

*Major TOTK SPOILERS*
I always found it interesting in Skyward sword how Zelda and Ganon technically always had beef way before the events of Skyward Sword. Hylia fights Demise and seals him and then creates trials for Link, the Chosen Hero, but I never understood how she knew that Link was that chosen hero in the future.
TOTK kinda fucks up the OG canon of LOZ with Skyward Sword and the Zonai. It construes the founding of Hyrule and doesn’t make since in how the Zonai tribe were never mentioned in previous games. Which makes me believe that botw/totk is a completely different timeline and completely strays from canon. What really influenced this is Demise’s curse in Skyward Sword.
Tumblr media
“You fight like no human or demon I have ever known. Though this is not the end. My hate... never perishes. It is born anew in a cycle with no end! I will rise again. Those like you... Those who share the blood of the goddess and the spirit of the hero... They are eternally bound to this curse. An incarnation of my hatred shall ever follow your kind, dooming them to wander a blood-soaked sea of darkness for all time!"
Demise said that he never seen any creature that fights like Link, therefore a Link has never existed and fought Demise before he was sealed by Hylia. That one anniversary manga was never confirmed canon so that version of Link is not the first version of Link. Then, Demise is the only one that reincarnates. He cursed the spirit of Link and the bloodline of Zelda to always fight the reincarnation of Demise. So no matter what, a reincarnation of Demise is always going to be a male gerudo and gerudo’s physical characteristics are similar so it makes sense why Ganon always looks similar to each other reincarnation from each timeline in some shape or form. Or that ugly pig form he has in some games. Zelda will always have the same characteristics of whatever race the goddess Hylia was. Which explains why Zelda always look similar to each iteration of her character. Each Zelda are Hylian descendants of Hylia no matter what timeline. Zelda and Ganon both have restrictions to who they are rightfully so but not Link.
Link’s spirit is cursed, not his bloodline or soul. To add on top of that, Link legend technically came from nowhere. Zelda is Hylia reborn and descendants of Hylia and Ganon is the reincarnation of Demise. Link has no legend to his name prior to SS. Outside of the triforce of courage, there is nothing notable about his bloodline except for maybe Twilight Princess. Nothing restricts him to being a male Hylian with blond/dirty blonde/brown hair with blue eyes outside of merchandise/advertisement reasonings. He is allowed to change forms and be a different race or gender and he isn’t constricted to one form.
Now I ask you to consider botw/totk to be a new canon to the LOZ timeline. It’s own separate branch that wasn’t created because of OOT. That it is it’s own story without the older games to continue it.
Tumblr media
But ofc, we need the previous games for inspiration. In Skyward Sword, it was said that Hylia had the help from the other races of Hyrule to seal Demise and although this is common in the plot for every Zelda game, it’s important to mention.
Tumblr media
In BOTW, to the left of Ganon, it shows a figure that looks like Zelda and to the right it shows an unknown warrior that wields the Master Sword and they’ve enlisted the help of all races to help deal with Ganon like Hylia has done before. The events in the tapestry is similar to the sealing of Demise. Hylia, with the support of the other races, seals Demise until Link can kill him in the future. The biggest difference however is that the botw tapestry shows a hero wielding the sword that seals the darkness. Which makes me believe that Demise wouldn’t have been sealed but instead killed in this fight.
Tumblr media
You probably already figured out where this was leading. I believe that the ancient hero aspect is botw/totk’s version of the first ever and I mean ever avatar of the hero’s spirit. The armor set and the hero in the tapestry are strikingly familiar to their skin color and the prominent red hair.
Tumblr media
Also, idk if anyone noticed but the text says the spirt of A hero who once saved Hyrule not the spirit of THE hero of Hyrule. Saying “a hero” separates it from the idea that the hero spirit has already been established or I guess cursed by this timeline’s version of Demise. “The spirit of a hero” is singular.
A lot of the timeline for botw/totk is very collapsing and confusing but I’d like to believe that the tapestry shows botw/totk’s universe’s version of Demise, Hylia, AND Link. Ofc this can be debunked as it was said the first calamity was 10,000 years ago and Ganon reveals in one of the memories that the Zonai have long died out and Rauru and Mineru are most likely the last of their kind.
But to further establish my theory as a loophole is that the interpretation of the tapestry could simply be incorrect and misinterpreted by the researchers of Hyrule.
Lets say hypothetically speaking, the Ganon in the tapestry is Demise and it shows Hylia and the Zonai Link killing Demise. He does his speech with the curse and starts the cycle of hatred until the events of Rauru and Sonya’s era. The absence of the Shekiah tech can be easily explained as it was said in botw that the tech was hidden until they were needed again to aid the hero that seals the darkness. Sonya could be a descendent of Hylia and for all we know, Rauru could be a descendant of the Zonai version of Link. Maybe Zonai Link had light powers and infused it into a sword creating The Master Sword and his power passed down to Rauru. And Rauru’s sister, Mineru, is the Sage of Spirit which can also correlate back to Zonai Link as his spirit was cursed. It can also bring more weight to Rauru having the ability to seal Ganon for so long but not being able to finish the job as he is a small fraction of the Spirit of the Hero but not the real deal. When Ganon is reincarnated during Rauru’s era, there is no Link to be found nor a Zelda from that era of Rauru as king. For some cosmic reason, they weren’t reincarnated until 10,000 years after the event of Rauru sealing Ganon which explains why the shekiah tech appears in botw but not during Rauru’s era. They are their to aid the spirit of the chosen hero and this was probably implemented into their programming after Zonai Link’s Spirit was cursed. To help the next avatar of the spirit of the hero. The technology of the Shekiah could’ve also progressed so amazingly with the help of the Zonai or teachings of the Zonai. I feel that there has to be some influence as there were Shekiah shrines in Zonai ruins like the Thylpho Ruins.
Oh and one small tid bit, for some reason the Zonai tend to worship the idea of courage as a lot of their trials relates to courage. Most notably the phrases for the Labyrinths and the ceremonies for the Glide Set. The Zonai most prominent ruins are also in Faron, named after the Goddess of Courage Farore which is also interesting. :)
I have no explanation however as to why Ganon reincarnated without a proper Link and Zelda to stop him.
To summarize my long ass theory and clear any confusion, I believe that the tapestry depicts BOTW/TOTK version and fight of Demise vs Hylia and the hero’s spirit. It depicts the fight where they were cursed into this cycle and the Era of King Rauru and events of botw/totk is directly after it. So basically, completely new and different canon.
But anyway, it’s all just a theory. A GAME THEORY!!! :))))

Since you like wings of Fire can I have a request featuring Yuu reading malleus the wings of Fire book series a “bedtime story” because…well…dragons and all?(rest of diasomnia can be part of the request if you want)
When I saw this, I KNEW I had to do it!!!
Diasomnia React to WoF w/ Y/n:
Fandom: Wings of Fire & Twisted Wonderland
TW: Spoilers for WoF yall
Malleus:
When Yuu first introduced the series, Malleus was intrigued to say the least
Let’s just say his favorite was Starflight
I mean- think about it..
Malleus entirely enjoyed the series and wished to know mores
He even asked if there was any gargoyles
“What are these…scavengers..Child of Man?”
“Oh! They’re humans, Tsunotarou!”
let’s say he was quite surprised by this choice of words, though he could see the reasonings behind the name
Yuu would absolutely ramble out theories while Malleus will add in with it
They will be in the library, giggling as they read the books
If Malleus was able to be in Yuu world to see the author, expect him to full on have all the merchandise
Malleus will absolutely be fascinated by Darkstalker: The Legend
Will definitely refer to Yuu as Clearsight at random times
Yuu would call Malleus Darkstalker in return
It would be funny and comical as everyone tried to figure why they call eachother such strange names
They will absolutely try to call the other students different names from the series
“Ah, it seems Sunny (Kalim) is bothering Glory (Leona) again Tsunatorou.”
“Indeed Clearsight, here comes Professor Kestral (Trein).”
Let’s say, everyone is confused at these strange nicknames
Even Floyd was tiny bit nervous as he was the one with the suspicious nicknames
“Koebi-chan, why am I called Whirlpool?”
“It is due to you being quite sadistic and slippery Whirlpool.”
Yuu snorted at Malleus random appearance and answer
Let’s say Malleus and Yuu ran quickly from a angry..slippery eel (if you know, you know)
Either way, you both will have fun
Lilia:
Lilia is amused by such silly concepts as he calls it (it be a silly concept when I-)
He enjoys it as mere fairytales, but that what he thought when he read the prophecy of the first arc
He would immediately latch onto the book series
As the cultures, history, and mystery of playing detective got him
Lilia will immediately stamp Queen Scarlet as point of interest
“Fufufu~! I’ve never thought that Queen Scarlet would be this enthusiastic about colosseum battles.”
His favorite would definitely be Blister. A wicked mastermind? Absolutely.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Lilia starts to be huffy over her death
He would list the reasons why she should be queen
He gonna be all over Queen Diamond and Queen Wasp
Yuu will be willing to share some theories as Lilia would just debunk each one
Definitely will create his own tribe at some point (I mean—we all done that at point)
Silver:
Silver will snooze it through
It’s confirmed that Malleus and Yuu will nickname him Coconut (I’m not even joking)
Silver won’t be interested much in the first arc, but he will definitely will be in the second arc
I mean, he gonna be interested there was a strange voice turning out to be Darkstalker, a magic scroll of animus magic, and even more knightly behavior from Qibli and Winter
His favorite gonna be Winter
Cold face (even though it’s their normal face), stiff, and somehow have a connections to animals (humans-), and a possibility of Silver being Auror-
Yeah, you get the point
Though our sleepy boi is always sleeping, he is vigilant
He definitely will be invested enough to put in little facts for theories with Yuu and the others
Expect him to snore at the boring parts of the books
Definitely will read the epilogue of each book for new details
He will not take kindly at Lilia idea of having sleeping darts made for research purposes (Sebek RUN)
Will have a hammock and whenever he naps, Malleus and Lilia will deem it Suntime
Most likely will have a RainWings persona from Lilia accordingly
Sebek
Sebek you can’t just tell profanities at 4:35 a.m cause of some event happen in the books
No Sebek, you can’t throw the Dragonslayer book into the furnace
Sebek will definitely not be happy over the dragonslayer book at all
Sebek is now called Tsunami
He will absolutely hold the nickname dear to him as it was given by Malleus out of amusement
Sebek is gonna yell at Silver to wake up and not be a literal RainWings
NRC is now baffled and confused at these weird and outworldly remarks
Will definitely be kept quiet so he doesn’t yell during theory time
That is now a thing
A/N: I’m so sorry anon! It took so long as I was busy and etc..I hope you enjoyed this!!! Feel free to ask for more ask! ^^
