idk guys i do think mhin's strength is relative to the rest of the cast, but also. they're not that large and they don't seem jacked?? i think they're more agile and sneaky than anything. like sneak attacks and they know exactly where to hit their target for the most damage because of their scientific/medical knowledge. it doesn't mean they're weak necessarily. just imagine mhin arm wrestling with ais or leander; i can't see them winning even if they last a while. but they could absolutely take those fuckers down in other ways.
Got Mourynn's first fullbody ref done! (I mean first as in chronologically). Not much to say here, just getting some early year fullbody refs done so I can have them to start on some scenes and lore stuff (just gotta finish her Orchid outfit next since that's her main Sapling outfit before she makes her own custom one).
I'm also not used to drawing this small so I messed up the face a bit, on the side there, but oh well.
Below the cut is just the line art and the transparent that I'm hoping will work properly on her Hero Panel profile on Toyhouse:
By implying that children are too stupid and rude to learn about the world and learn how the world works and how to interact with others, you are casting responsibility away from the people who are responsible for that child's upbringing and placing the blame on the children (who don't have the autonomy given to them to be allowed to decide what they want) who can't help what they do and do not learn, often.
If the children aren't okay, then investigate why before turning to thought-terminating clichés of, "Well, the kids are just stupid and dumb and aren't even worth the effort because they're lazy!"
Though he may garner the fear of many, for people that know him well, it is quite easy to see that Tighnari cares for the people around him. And, well, he is also a bit of a nag too. How quick he is to notice when you haven't been showing your face around as much as usual or if you're finding yourself in more and more trouble. He does not hesitate to call you out right on the spot and point out your faults before a listening crowd. But that isn't all, isn't it? Then his voice will soften after scolding you. And with a scowl on his face, he'll soothe the harshness of his words with an invitation to dinner or to an academic lecture he will be having soon. He may complain about your various shortcomings, but he'll never abandon you. He will not let you go through your problems alone.
plot twist update on my gf catching my cold: turns out i caught her cold, and it’s definitely something a little worse than a cold but maybe not quite as severe as the flu
