How Seeq enables the Practice of MLOps for Continuous Integration and Development of the Machine Learning Models
Using ML/AI now they have enabled themselves to not only understand the importance of parameters but also to make predictions in real-time and forecast the future values. This helps the industry to manage and continuously improve the process by mitigating operational challenges such as reducing downtime, increasing productivity, improving yields and much more. But, in order to achieve such continuous support for the operations in real-time, the underlying models and techniques also need to be continuously monitored and managed. This brings in the requirement of MLOps, a borrowed terminology from DEVOps that can be used to manage your model in a receptive fashion using its CI/CD capabilities. Essentially MLOps enables you to not only develop your model but also gives you the flexibility to deploy and manage them in the production environment.

🌻Book A Reading|Rate Card🌻
Pile 1
Hello, my dear pile 1. This year asks you to stay open to receiving. Nothing can come between you and your manifestation except for your stubborn thoughts. Some of you may feel that there's some reluctance in financial flow. But that reluctance is being created because of your lack and doubtful mindset. For some of you, I see a romantic proposal coming your way. Your guides are asking you to meditate and calm your mind when it comes to the matter of your career. You may be too concerned about them because it was a bumpy road last year. The card says, “Whatever I can imagine, the universe can deliver.” This year asks you to explore your creative potential. Don't stay stuck on the past heartbreaks and disappointments. Staying stuck in the past and unable to let go is blocking your wishes to come true. Open your heart and lay the foundation to receive blessings in your life. The relationships that worked out last year may not work out this year. But the universe is going to bring a new connection to your door.
Book a personalized year ahead reading at $22.
Pile 2
Hello, my dear pile 2. The first thing that I see for you is that you'll be moving away from a relationship that didn't serve you no matter how hard you tried and you will be finding a stable relationship that will make you beyond happy. Some important decisions will be needed to make this year, especially in terms of friendship and relationships. You will be going in hermit mode. You will asked to make quick decisions. You'll soon learn how to manifest things in your life. Listen to Invisible String by Taylor Swift. This song has something to tell you. This year will demand you to seek the truth and do something about it. Let things go and trust the universe. You need to stay in alignment with the energy of what you want. The card says, “My greatest gift to give is my happiness.” Bring a smile to someone's face. It will brighten your day too. The more you stay happy the better you manifest this year. Solo time is CRUCIAL for you this year. Spend time alone and find ways to stay happy in your own company. Something will change within you that will bring you in alignment with the frequency of the divine. I also hear, “Because love comes slow and it goes so fast.” Don't be afraid to say the right thing even if it means that no one will stand by your side. Be authentic.
Book a personalized year ahead reading at $22.
Pile 3
Hello, my dear pile 3. This year is going to bring you many lessons when it comes to making a choice. There will be confusion when it comes to understanding your own emotions. You may struggle with finding the truth of your feelings. But eventually, you'll triumph over the confusion and will see the truth. All you need to do is be willing to go deep within your soul and past hurts to find the answers. Observe your patterns and you will find a way out. You'll learn to be emotionally intelligent. If you have been doubting yourself and were confused about which dream to pursue then know that soon you'll find clarity if you just do one right thing every day to get yourself out of this mental trap. You'll be divinely guided. Even if you take a wrong turn and listen to the wrong advice sent to you through your skeptical thoughts, then know that you'll be put back on track by the divine. Even the wrong train will take you to the right destination. You won't fail. This year your actions will give you results. And you WILL SUCCEED. The card says, “To receive what I want, I must not push against unwanted.” To truly understand what you desire you must understand what you don't understand too. There will be a purpose behind every choice that you face. Keep creating and keep doing what you do.

Cocky Bastard
Tumblr media
Heelbret
As I sat at the commentary desk, analyzing each match with my sharp wit and insightful comments, I couldn't help but notice Heel Bret's confident swagger as he made his way down the ramp. His piercing gaze locked onto mine, a mischievous glint in his eyes that hinted at the chaos he was about to unleash.
"You know, Y/n," he began, his voice oozing with charm, "I can't help but be captivated by your beauty and intelligence as you sit there at ringside. It seems you are more than just a commentator. You're a force to be reckoned with."
His flirtatious tone caught me off guard, and I raised an eyebrow, not sure if I should play along or maintain my professionalism. "Oh, Bret," I replied, my voice a mix of amusement and skepticism, "I appreciate the compliments, but let's not forget that the real action is in the ring, not in our banter."
Heel Bret chuckled, undeterred by my response. "Ah, Y/n, your quick wit only adds to your allure. But trust me, I am well aware of your ability to captivate an audience. It takes one charismatic performer to recognize another."
His cockiness irked me, but I couldn't deny the underlying chemistry between us. "Bret, there's a fine line between confidence and arrogance," I retorted, my voice laced with a touch of challenge. "And it seems you've crossed that line more times than I can count."
He flashed me a self-assured smirk, leaning closer to the commentary desk. "I prefer to call it embracing my greatness," he countered, his gaze intensifying. "But don't worry, Y/n, I'll make sure to give you front-row access to witness my victory tonight. Perhaps then, you'll understand the irresistible charm that sets me apart."
His words made my pulse quicken, a mixture of annoyance and intrigue bubbling within me. "Oh, I've seen your performances, Bret," I replied, my voice laced with a hint of sarcasm. "But I can't say I'm convinced just yet. Actions speak louder than words in this ring, remember?"
Heel Bret's grin widened, and he leaned even closer, his breath warm against my ear. "You're right, Y/n," he whispered, sending shivers down my spine. "Actions do speak louder than words. And tonight, I plan on showing you just how powerful my actions can be."
The intensity of his gaze and the promise in his words sent a rush of adrenaline through me. It was undeniable - Heel Bret knew how to work a crowd, how to draw people in with his charisma. And in that moment, he had my full attention.
As the night unfolded, Bret delivered a thrilling performance, captivating the audience with his athletic prowess and showmanship. Each move, each taunt was calculated to elicit a reaction, and I couldn't help but be drawn in by his magnetism.
With each passing match, our banter grew more heated, the flirtation more palpable. The lines between professional rivalry and personal attraction blurred, leaving me wondering if there was more to Heel Bret than met the eye.
As the final match approached, Heel Bret sauntered over to the commentary table, a confident smirk playing on his lips. "Y/n," he said, his voice low and husky, "this is it. The moment of truth. Will you finally admit that I am the most captivating performer in this ring?"
I looked into his eyes, seeing the fire and determination within them. "Bret," I replied, my voice filled with a mix of admiration and defiance, "you've certainly proven yourself tonight. But true greatness isn't just about captivating an audience; it's about leaving a lasting impact."
Heel Bret's smirk faded, replaced by a thoughtful expression. "You're right, Y/n," he said, his tone softer now. "There's more to being a performer than just grabbing attention. It's about connecting with people, making them feel something."
In that moment, the flirtatious banter fell away, and we shared a genuine understanding. Heel Bret had shown me a different side of himself, a vulnerability hidden behind the cocky persona.
The night ended with Heel Bret emerging victorious, the crowd on their feet, cheering for his triumph. As he made his way up the ramp, our eyes met one final time, and a knowing smile passed between us.
Though our paths may have seemed at odds, there was an unspoken bond rooted in our shared love for the world of professional wrestling. And who knows what the future held? Perhaps our paths would combine?

Michael Esposito Staten Island - Mastering Influencer Marketing for Effective Brand Influence
In today's digital landscape, where social media dominates and consumer trust is paramount, influencer marketing has emerged as a potent strategy for brands to enhance their online presence and influence consumer behavior. By leveraging the reach and authority of influencers, brands can amplify their message and foster authentic connections with their target audience.
However, mastering influencer marketing requires a nuanced approach informed by data, strategy, and an understanding of consumer behavior. "Mastering Influencer Marketing: Unveiling Powerful Strategies and Secrets" provides invaluable insights into the intricacies of influencer partnerships, offering actionable strategies for brands looking to maximize their impact and achieve effective brand influence. Let's delve into the facts behind mastering influencer marketing for lasting success.
Tumblr media
Fact #1: Influencer Marketing Delivers Impressive ROI
According to a report by Influencer Marketing Hub, businesses are generating an average of $5.20 for every $1 spent on influencer marketing. This impressive return on investment underscores the effectiveness of influencer marketing in driving tangible business results, from increased brand awareness to higher conversion rates. By partnering with influencers whose audience aligns with their target demographic, brands can maximize the impact of their marketing efforts and achieve a significant ROI.
Fact #2: Micro-Influencers Drive Higher Engagement
While mega-celebrities may command attention with their massive followings, research shows that micro-influencers often deliver higher engagement rates. According to research conducted by Markerly, there is a tendency for an influencer's engagement rate to decrease as their follower count increases. Micro-influencers, who typically have smaller but more niche and engaged audiences, can offer brands a more authentic and cost-effective way to connect with their target audience. By harnessing the power of micro-influencers, brands can achieve deeper levels of engagement and foster genuine relationships with consumers.
Fact #3: Authenticity is Key to Success
In today's age of social media saturation, authenticity has become a currency of its own. Consumers crave genuine connections and are quick to dismiss inauthentic brand messaging. According to research conducted by Stackla, 86% of consumers emphasize the significance of authenticity in determining the brands they choose to support. This highlights the importance of authenticity in influencer marketing partnerships. Brands that prioritize authenticity and transparency in their collaborations with influencers are more likely to resonate with consumers and build trust over time, ultimately leading to greater brand influence and loyalty.
Fact #4: Influencer Marketing Drives Purchase Decisions
Influencers hold considerable sway when it comes to impacting the purchasing choices of their followers. A survey by Rakuten Marketing found that 40% of consumers have purchased a product after seeing it endorsed by an influence on social media. Additionally, 49% of consumers say they rely on influencer recommendations when making purchase decisions. This underscores the power of influencer marketing in driving consumer behavior and shaping brand perceptions. By strategically partnering with influencers who authentically endorse their products or services, brands can effectively influence purchase decisions and drive sales.
Fact #5: Data-Driven Strategy is Essential for Success
Influencer marketing success hinges on a data-driven approach. By analyzing metrics such as audience demographics, engagement rates, and conversion rates, brands can identify the most effective influencers for their campaigns and optimize performance over time. Tools like social media analytics platforms and influencer marketing software can provide valuable insights into campaign performance and audience behavior, enabling brands to refine their influencer marketing strategy for maximum impact.
In conclusion, mastering influencer marketing for effective brand influence requires a data-driven, authentic approach. By leveraging the impressive ROI of influencer marketing, harnessing the engagement power of micro-influencers, prioritizing authenticity, influencing purchase decisions, and adopting a data-driven strategy, brands can unlock the full potential of influencer marketing to enhance their online presence, connect with their target audience, and drive meaningful business results. "Michael Esposito Staten Island - 10 Essential Strategies for Effective Influencer Marketing" encapsulates the essence of strategic influencer collaborations, offering valuable insights and actionable tips for brands aiming to elevate their influencer marketing game and achieve lasting impact in the digital sphere.

Abilities and Skills
Strength
Strength refers to a cat's physical prowess. This Ability dictates the power behind attacks, endurance, and how muscular a cat appears. Warriors who are skilled hunters and fighters often excel in Strength. Though this Ability doesn't necessarily account for precision, it does give cats a bonus in dealing and taking damage.
Intelligence
Intelligence is about a cat’s training and knowledge. This Ability is what delivers good aim, careful thought, and battle strategy. Healers often excel in intellect due to their studies in herbs, and clan history. Intelligent cats have excellent precision, and strive in tackling the unexpected.
Spirit
Spirit is a cat’s insight and willpower. This Ability aids cats in their empathy, instinct, and voice. Stonetellers are proficient in Spirit, as they examine the world from an ethereal and mortal lens. Spiritual cats tend to be better in-tune with their surroundings, and are best at handling high stress situations.
Strength Skills:
Arch
Cats Arch to scare off weaker enemies, or threaten challengers into backing down. The Arch Skill focuses on your cat’s physical intimidation. This can be shown through the iconic arcing pose, fluffing out one’s fur, or simply looming over another with massive presence.
Bite
The bite skill pertains to the power of your cat’s maw. Cats use their fangs to defend against enemies, or deliver life threatening blows. A cat’s Bite doesn't always have to be lethal. Sometimes it can determine their grip or jaw strength.
Climb
The Climb Skill shows how well a cat can traverse up trees, rocky mountain faces, and thin fence posts. Climb is all about a cat’s grip and balance on their paws. This check is best used on precarious terrain, or when a cat wishes to scale up something.
Chase
Cats are known to be quick, they can twist and change direction in the drop of a hat. A cat’s Chase Skill determines how fast and maneuverable it is. Sometimes a cat needs to get away from a threat in time, or rush after a fat juicy mouse. This check is best used in cases of speed, hunting, and evasion.
Swim
The Swim Skill determines how well a cat can handle themselves in water. Most cats find swimming unpleasant, but it can be an invaluable skill. Though swimming may not feel important to a clan cat that doesn’t live near water, the unexpected can still happen. Rivers, flash floods, and other natural disasters could make your cat confront getting wet.
Wrestle
Wrestling is what cats use to initiate a fight. It’s up close and personal brawling between two foes. This is a test of brute strength, the struggle before an explosion of claws and teeth. The Wrestle Skill can help your cat gain the upper paw in a fight, or even pin down an enemy. If a cat’s goal is to fight, they should wrestle first.
Endurance
In some cases cats may be doing strenuous tasks for prolonged periods of time. Or worse, they’ve eaten a dangerous herb. Endurance dictates how well they can handle being put under tough situations. Especially ones that strain them physically.
Tumblr media
Intelligence Skills:
Ponder
The Ponder Skill is used in situations where your cat encounters new and unfamiliar things. This check is best for when a player isn’t sure what to do. Ponder allows a cat to decide what other Skill or action would be appropriate at the moment.
Tradition
The Tradition Skill puts to test how well a cat has been listening to their elders. This Skill is used to identify unique aspects of different Clans or outsiders. Aside from understanding different customs, cats use Tradition to recall old stories and Clan history.
Medicine
The world of Warriors is dangerous, and cats often get hurt. The Medicine Skill helps a cat know what herbs to smell for, or understand how critical someone’s condition is. Through these discoveries a cat can help alleviate pain or prevent death.
Pounce
For cats Pouncing is a versatile skill. This is a calculated maneuver that springs a cat towards any direction they please. The Pounce Skill can be used for leaping over obstacles, jumping up onto high places, striking paws onto prey, or launching into an enemy.
See
Though not the strongest of a cat’s senses, Seeing is a skill cats use to determine new things in their surroundings. Sometimes certain scents or sounds are too old or cleverly disguised. A cat using See can figure out what they can’t detect with their ears or nose.
Swat
Swatting is a Skill that requires precision and a meaningful aim. In a fight a cat may unsheathe their claws to make their paws more dangerous. Swatting isn’t exclusively violent, with claws sheathed a Swat can be used as a warning strike, or to smack something out of the way.
Smell
Smell allows a cat to detect what might be nearby and out of sight. This can also be used to track down different scents and follow the trail. The better a cat’s smell the easier they find it to track down scents that are stale or well hidden.
Tumblr media
Spirit Skills:
Focus
Sometimes cats face challenging or intense situations that may draw away their attention. Feeling ill, scared, or a bad wound may deter a cat from properly completing a Skill. Focus is a cat’s concentration, and their ability to ignore outside influences.
Faith
A cat may ask their ancestors for signs or an answer, the Faith Skill gives them a chance of being answered to. Certain cats have abilities gifted to them by Star Clan or the Dark Forest that could be tapped into through Faith. Other times they are being influenced by forces they wish to push away, or want to recall a detail regarding religious stories.
Hiss
Cats Hiss to intimidate different foes. It serves as a piercing warning sign that whatever wants to tussle, is facing something ferocious. If a cat wishes to speak authoritatively or scare away enemies, Hissing is a good skill to use. In some situations cats may Hiss to warn allies of incoming danger.
Jump
The Jump skill is what allows cats to land on their feet after a long fall, or reactively spring out of the way of danger. During combat jumping is a good way to evade a pouncing cat, or leap away from the jaws of a fox. Jumping is what cats do to get down from high places as well, as pouncing is moreso done for scaling up things.
Speech
Speech determines how well spoken a cat may be. This skill can aid in persuasion, or an attempt to impress those listening. Cats who are particularly cunning use Speech to lie or manipulate others.
Listen
Listening is how cats detect sounds. This comes in handy when tracking another animal, listening for movement while hiding, or trying to detect where a noise is coming from. Listening comes in handy when a cat is hunting, sneaking, or tracking.
Sneak
Being light footed is something cats are particularly skilled at. While Sneaking is used for hunting, cats often face a lot of dangerous situations being smaller animals themselves. Sometimes they’re trying to avoid larger threats, or are attempting a risky maneuver through enemy territory. Stealth is about silence and still calculated movement.

Once the IT admin creates and assigns the custom meeting template, users will see the template in the New Meeting drop down when scheduling a meeting from Teams Calendar or Outlook.

How can IT Admins make Custom Branding for Teams meetings available for their organization?
IT Admins can set up and manage custom branding by navigating to Meeting customization policies in Teams Admin Center. To begin set up, admins will first need to create a new meeting customization policy or modify the organizational global default policy. Admins can create their customization policy by creating a Meeting Theme.
Meeting Themes house the brand assets for your theme. These include:
Logo: your organization’s logo. Custom Image: brand image from your organization. Custom Color: your organization's primary or secondary brand color in the meeting experience. Admins can enter the hex code value of your organization's brand color, which will appear on key surfaces of the meeting experience. Note: the final color generated may not match your brand color. This is to support Microsoft accessibility standards. Custom logo images and custom images must meet Microsoft accessibility contrast rations (4:5:1) and adhere to certain parameters.

Assigning a Meeting Customization Policy to Users
Meeting Customization Policies can be assigned to one, many, or a pre-defined user group in your tenant. Make sure that these users have a Teams Premium License to use these features.
For organization’s that have more than one business unit or department under a different brand identity within the same tenant, admins can create meeting customization policies dedicated to each brand, and assign a department or business unit user group to a specific policy. For more on how to create meeting customization policies for multiple brands within the same tenant, see Custom organization branding for Teams meetings.
As a meeting organizer, how can I enable branding for meetings?
If your IT Admin has enabled Meeting Themes for you, you will be able to create custom branded meetings by default. Any meeting attendee that joins your meeting will see your organization’s brand colors and images.
thumbnail image 6 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
If you want to disable branding for a meeting, navigate to the Meeting options menu for a meeting instance. Toggle off the meeting option "Meeting theme" to allow organizers to turn off branding. If your IT Administrator has not provided you the ability to turn off Meeting Branding, you will not be able to disable branding.

Org-defined Backgrounds Organizational backgrounds enable IT admins to IT Admins to upload custom background images provided at a tenant level making them visible to users in their org. Organizational backgrounds can support marketing moments, product launches, company-events, culture, and holidays.
How can IT Admins make Org-defined Backgrounds for Teams meetings available for their organization? If you have a Teams Premium license and your IT Administrator has uploaded Org-defined Background images, you will be able to view, select, and apply the background from Background Settings panel. Once the custom background policy is enabled, IT admins can upload up to 50 custom background images.
thumbnail image 8 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
By clicking Save, the uploaded backgrounds are automatically saved and will be visible to end users with a Teams Premium license. For more information, see Custom org defined backgrounds for Teams meetings.
How can users select and apply a meeting background uploaded by IT admins?
Images will appear on end users' interfaces in order of upload. Only users with Teams Premium license will see these images in their Background Settings panel.

Organization Together Mode scenes Custom Together Mode scenes in Microsoft Teams provide an immersive and engaging meeting environment with the following actions:
Bring people together and encourage them to turn on their video. Combine participants digitally into a single virtual scene. Place the participants' video streams in pre-determined seats designed and fixed by the scene creator. How can IT Admins make Org-defined Together Mode scenes for Teams meetings available for their organization?
IT admins can create an organization Together Mode scene in the scene developer using the Microsoft Scene studio. For step by step instructions on scene creation, see Custom Together Mode scenes in Teams. Once the scene is published by the IT admin, users with a Teams Premium license can activate the custom Together Mode scene during a meeting.
Once the scene is published by the IT Admin, how can licensed users activate it during a meeting?
If the user has a Teams Premium license, they will automatically see the custom Together Mode scenes in the scene gallery. Follow the steps below to activate a custom Together Mode scene during your meeting:
From the Gallery drop-down, select Together Mode. The Picker dialog box appears and the scene that is added is available. Select Change scene to change the default scene. From the Scene Gallery, select the scene you want to use for your meeting. Select Apply. Teams installs the app for the user and applies the scene. Note: Users can't initiate Together Mode from mobile. However, after a user joins a meeting through mobile and Together Mode is turned on from desktop, the mobile users who have turned on the video, will appear in Together Mode on desktop.

Custom policy packages Custom policy packages allow IT Admins to bundle a set of policies for users with similar roles in their organization. To create a custom policy package, sign into Teams Admin Center and navigate to Policy packages. Click Add to create a custom policy package. After entering the name and description for your package, select the type and name of the policies you’d like to include in the package. For more information, see Manage policy packages in Microsoft Teams.
Advanced meeting protection Advanced meeting protection in Teams Premium helps organizations better protect confidential and sensitive information during meetings. With new meeting option features like end-to-end encryption, watermarking, who can record meeting, and prevent copy/paste for Teams meetings chats, organizations can select the options that fit their meeting most appropriately. Additionally, E5 customers will be able to apply sensitivity labels to Teams meetings.
End-to-end encryption (E2EE) option for Teams meetings As part of Teams Premium, we are adding an end-to-end encryption (E2EE) option for Teams meetings. EEE2is the encryption of information at its origin and decryption at its intended destination without the ability for intermediate nodes or parties to decrypt. This builds on top of existing core functionality for an end-to-end encryption option for 1:1 VoIP calls. While E2EE may be applicable for a small amount of meeting use cases, it’s important to understand that when E2EE is not used, Teams data exchanged during calls or meetings is still protected with industry standard encryption in transit and at rest. Chat for end-to-end encrypted calls and meetings is protected with Microsoft 365 encryption. For more information on our standard encryption practices, please see Media encryption for Teams.
When the E2EE option is enabled for a 1:1 calls or meeting, it introduces feature and functionality tradeoffs due to the nature of E2EE. This can impact both the end user experience and IT’s ability to govern that meeting. E2EE communications become non-discoverable for compliance tooling and certain features become unavailable:
Recording Live caption and transcription Call transfer (blind, safe, and consult) Call Park Call Merge Call Companion and transfer to another device Add participant to make the one-to-one call a group call
The presence of these tradeoffs means that an E2EE option should be used for very specific and targeted use cases defined by the customer's IT/security/compliance teams.
How can IT Admins make E2EE for Teams meetings available for their organization?
IT admins can set the E2EE meeting policy for users, groups, or tenant. The settings are available in Teams Admin Center. The following steps can be used to setup E2EE via Teams Admin Center.
Sign into the Teams Admin Center > Enhanced encryption policies. Name the new policy, then for End-to-end meeting encryption, choose users can turn it on, and Save. Once you’ve finished creating the policy, assign the policy to users, groups, or your entire tenant the same way you manage other Teams policies.
By default, E2EE isn’t available to users in your tenant. Once you’ve configured the policy, end-to-end encryption is still off by default for users when they schedule a teams meeting. Users need to turn on end-to-end encryption in Meeting Options. For more information, please see End-to-end Encryption for Teams meetings.
thumbnail image 11 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
Once IT Admin has set the enhanced encryption policy, do users automatically get E2EE in meetings? No. After the policy has been enabled, licensed users will see E2EE as a meeting option. To turn on end-to-end encryption, meeting organizer can follow these steps:
When scheduling a Teams meeting through Outlook or Teams Calendar, open Meeting Options dialog/webpage Enable end-to-end encryption
thumbnail image 12 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
How can the two parties confirm they’re on an end-to-end encrypted meeting? User will see the encryption indicator on the Teams meeting window. This indicator shows that the meeting is encrypted. If a Teams meeting is successfully end-to-end encrypted, both parties will see the end-to-end encryption indicator on the Teams meeting window. The Teams end-to-end encryption indicator is a shield with a lock. To confirm that end-to-end encryption is working correctly, verify that the same security code appears for both parties in the meeting.
Note: Audio, Video, and Video-based screen-sharing are end-to-end encrypted. Apps, Avatars, Filters, Chat, Q&A, and Reactions are not end-to-end encrypted. Meeting size is limited to 50 participants. If the 51st person tries to join an E2EE meeting, they will be blocked from joining.
thumbnail image 13 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
Some of the features disabled during an end-to-end encrypted meeting include: Live caption and transcription, Recording, Together mode, Companion mode, Large gallery, Breakout rooms.
Platforms supported: Desktop and Mobile
Note: Unsupported platforms will be blocked from joining.
Watermark Watermark provides a solution to protect company's confidential artifacts shared during Teams meetings. There have been frequent cases where screenshots of sensitive data shared during the virtual meetings have leaked.  Watermark adds viewing participant's email id on top of shared screen and/or video feed in the Teams meeting.   How can IT Admins make Watermark for Teams meetings available for their organization?
Meeting watermarks are enabled by default in the Teams admin center. They can be added by the meeting organizer (the organizer must have a Teams Premium license) while scheduling the Teams meeting or enforced by a template or sensitivity label.
thumbnail image 14 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
If meeting organizer enables Watermark for Shared content and Video feed, participants should see the watermark (their own email id) on the shared screen as well as on video feed (camera content). Below is the in-meeting experience with Watermark enabled on shared screen and video feed:
thumbnail image 15 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
Platforms supported: Desktop and Mobile
Please update your Teams to the newest version to use Watermark.
Unsupported platforms: Teams Web, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows (Watermark support coming soon), Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android (Watermark support coming soon), Cloud Video Interop (CVI), anonymous participants (not signed-in to Teams client), Direct Guest Join (DGJ), meeting overflow, and Microsoft Teams (preview)
Feature limitations
Watermark is not available for all scenarios, including: Recording, PowerPoint Live, Whiteboard, Together mode and Large gallery. Users joining from unsupported platforms would only hear the audio with no content shown to them.
Who can record Who can record meeting option can help meeting organizers easily manage who can record their meetings. Today a Teams meeting can be recorded by the organizers or participants who meet specific criteria. Now, with this new Teams meeting option, organizers can choose who can record when scheduling Teams meetings.
When scheduling a Teams meeting from Outlook or Teams, organizers can set up who can record the meeting.
thumbnail image 16 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
Sensitivity labels for meetings with Prevent copy of chat option In addition to using sensitivity labels to protect documents and emails, you will be able to define and use sensitivity labels to set meeting protection defaults.
Meeting settings that can be controlled with a sensitivity label include:
Who can bypass the lobby Allow dial in user to bypass lobby Who can present Who can record Encryption for meeting video and audio Automatically record Video watermark for screen sharing and camera streams Prevent or allow chat Prevent or allow copying chat to clipboard. Support for copy prevention for external meeting joiners, and for meeting chats on Safari, Firefox, and Mobile will come in a few months. Some of the meeting protection options will not change while the meeting is on-going, they will take affect for the next instance after everyone leaves and re-joins.
To use sensitivity labels with Teams meetings, the following licensing requirements apply:
For the compliance admin: The compliance admin will be able to define sensitivity labels for use with Teams meetings only if there’s at least one E5 license and one Teams Premium license in the organization. For the end user: End users will be able to use available sensitivity labels when scheduling Teams meetings only if they have both, an E5 license as well as a Teams Premium license. Sensitivity labels can be created by Compliance Admins in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal.
Please note that if your org uses mandatory labeling for emails, ensure that the mandatory labeling setting for meetings has been explicitly set to None. This step is necessary regardless of whether labels are being used for meetings or not. Mandatory labeling for meetings will be supported very soon.
For instructions to create a sensitivity label, see Configure Teams meetings with protection for highly sensitive data. Once the label is created, Compliance Admins will need to publish it to the intended users.
thumbnail image 17 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
To enable Prevent copy of meeting chat with meeting sensitivity label, go to Chat settings and select the Prevent copying chat content to clipboard checkbox.
How can end users apply sensitivity labels to meetings? Meeting organizers can apply a sensitivity label to meeting invites from Outlook or Teams.
thumbnail image 18 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
When the meeting starts, any meeting options configured in the label are enforced. Participants from your organization see the label during the Teams meetings. When a label enforces settings, users see a lock and message that explains the settings are applied by a sensitivity label.

Advanced Webinars Building upon the basic new webinar experience available in Office 365 and Microsoft 365 offerings—registration up to one thousand attendees, co-organizer role, theming, interactivity with Q&A, attendee reporting, and Dynamics 365 marketing integration—with Advanced Webinars in Teams Premium, you get the familiar and secure experience of Teams combined with new host controls and event management controls that make it seamless to connect with any audience.
How can IT Admins enable the new Webinar experience for their organization? IT Admins can use the new Teams Events Policy (Settings: AllowWebinar and EventAccessType) to control the new webinar experience. Please see the following for PowerShell commands New-CsTeamsEventsPolicy, Set-CsTeamsEventsPolicy, Grant-CsTeamsEventsPolicy, Get-CsTeamsEventsPolicy.
Here are all possible options with existing Teams Meeting Policy and the new Teams Events Policy.
Current webinar experience: AllowMeetingRegistration: ON, AllowWebinar: OFF New webinar experience: AllowMeetingRegistration: ON, AllowWebinar: ON No webinar experience: AllowMeetingRegistration: OFF, AllowWebinar: ON If you currently leverage the flow of adding registration to a meeting by using requiring registration option, this experience will continue to work as is and will not be impacted by this change if AllowMeetingRegistration is ON.
Registration Waitlist and Manual Approval The registration experience gets even better in Teams Premium with registration waitlist, manual approval, and custom registration start and end times. Enabling the waitlist will keep webinar registration open even after the event has reached the capacity set by the organizer to allow additional people to register and be automatically added to the waitlist. As new spots open, people will be automatically moved to the pending approval state, which enables the organizer to review their registration information and manually approve or reject each of the registrants. In addition, you can customize the registration start and end time to specify when you want registration to start and end, making it easier to plan for and manage your event.
As a meeting organizer, how can I add use the advanced registration settings offered with Teams Premium?
Once you navigate to Teams Calendar and select Webinar, a window with two sections on the left-pane will appear.
Setup: basic webinar information, presenter bios, and theming. Registration: allows configuration of registration including capacity to set how many can attend an event, whether manual approval of all event registrations is needed, enable a waitlist, and limiting the registration window to a certain date and timeframe.
thumbnail image 21 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
Once you complete the sections in Setup, proceed to Registration and customize the registration form with options to enable manual approval of all event registrations, waitlist, and set limits to the registration window.
thumbnail image 22 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
As people register, if manual approval is on, they will show up in Attendee status for organizers to Approve/Reject.

Virtual Green Room Similar to when you used to gather with the host and presenters in the physical green room ahead of your event, you will be able to connect and manage all the behind-the-scenes action in the virtual green room. Join together with the host and other presenters in a dedicated space separate from attendees, where you can socialize, monitor chat and Q&A, manage attendee settings, and review content before the event starts. And as attendees wait, they will be greeted with a welcome screen and can use chat and Q&A to engage with presenters and each other.
How can I enable Green Room as the meeting organizer? Go to Meeting Options > toggle Yes for Enable Green room.

While the green room is active, attendees only see the canvas below, informing them that the meeting will start shortly. Attendees will not be able to turn on their video or audio. Other engagement experiences are available if enabled, like chat and Q&A.
thumbnail image 26 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
Platforms supported for Preview: Desktop (Windows and Mac), Web (Note: Safari or Firefox will not be supported in the first release), Mobile (iOS and Android) supported.
Note: The Green Room experience for presenters and organizers on Mobile is not supported. Presenters and organizers will need to join from Desktop or Web.
Manage what attendee see As engagement is key to making any webinar successful, it’s not just about how attendees can engage, but also what will keep them engaged. With the ability to manage what attendees see, you don’t have to worry about distractions in case someone’s video accidentally turns on or keeping focus while multiple profile photos of attendees show up on-screen. You can curate the attendee view so attendees only see shared content and participants you bring on-screen.
In the below experience, Daniella will show up on the stage, where as, Charlotte and everyone else in the event, will not be shown on the stage. Presenters will automatically start off on the Off Screen pane, and can then be brought on stage.
thumbnail image 27 of blog post titled Get Started with Microsoft Teams Premium
Attendees only see the shared content along with the videos of people who were pushed onto the stage. To request to appear on stage, users should raise their hand.

Madrid Week 0: Stealing Grocery Bags (Goals & Reflections)
¡Hola a todos!
My name is Niko, and I’ll be blogging this semester from now until June for the CEA IPE program at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, or UC3M.
Some quick background about me: I’m a current junior studying aerospace engineering at Michigan; I’m minoring in computer science and the international minor for engineers. I beatbox in an a cappella group, I love to rollerblade, meditate, and make pottery, & I’m a huge Bad Bunny fan (top 2% of listeners worldwide, not to flex).
My goal for writing this blog is twofold: one, to share my experiences in Madrid (and Europe when I travel around) with you all. I’ll be writing about sights I’ve seen, activities I’ve done, situations I’ve gotten myself into, and what they all made me feel. For all the prospective study-abroaders reading this, I hope you gain some insight into what studying and living in Madrid is like — and please feel free to send me an email at [email protected] with any questions. For all of my friends and family reading, I hope you enjoy staying somewhat up to date with my life while I’m away, and please don’t hesitate to reach out — I would be happy to get a more in depth account about anything I post. Also, don’t hesitate to reach out with suggestions of what you might want me to blog about. I’m open to all ideas!
My second goal: dive deeper into how all of these experiences are affecting me, and figure out how I can learn and grow from all of them. I find that when I journal about something, it helps me sort through my thoughts and feelings surrounding it. This allows me to figure out how I can use these experiences to inform my actions in the future and move closer towards being the person that I want to be. This blog might serve as a pseudo journal for me; I’m gonna try to write a short focused piece on one experience each week and see what I can get out of it.
So, as I boarded the plane to Madrid (having gone through a crisis of deciding which bag I was going to bring as my personal item just hours before [I am a chronic over packer, but I will improve this semester mark my words] ), I was feeling a mix of excitement, nervousness, and uncertainty.
Tumblr media
It’s now day 2 of being in Madrid, and after going through the trouble of losing a bag in transit (which has since been delivered back to my apartment thanks to our awesome doorman Mario), I quickly started to experience culture shock, naturally. Most notably so far: feeling extremely embarrassed when I accidentally tried to steal a bag at the grocery store — you have to pay for bags in Madrid, and I took an extra right in front of the cashier. She wasn’t so happy.
Although I’ve been to Spain once before for a week with my Spanish class in 8th grade, things are all very unfamiliar — the pace of life, my surroundings, the people, the way you recycle, the language (although I’m happy that the 52 hours listening to Bad Bunny have served me well, I’ve found that I’m able to communicate with locals pretty fluently), among many other things. During this period of culture shock, I’m gonna try my best to pull from the biggest lesson I learned studying abroad in Buenos Aires (an amazing city, btw, highly recommend) the summer after my freshman year — lean into these uncomfortable situations. Adapting to Argentinian culture helped me learn that these situations are never a matter of life or death. Overcoming my ego and “putting myself out there” got me into some of the most incredible, memorable experiences that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.
So, I’m gonna do exactly that this time around, and I know that feeling more comfortable is only a matter of time. I’m excited for all of the people that I will meet, places I will see (most pumped to return to La Sagrada Familia, stay tuned for that), experiences I will become a part of, and I’m excited to continue writing this blog!
Un beso,
Niko Economos
Aerospace Engineering
Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
Madrid, Spain
P.S. Don't forget to check the ALT/Image descriptions for a little more insight into what these photos are, especially if I don't talk about them in the main body :)

The Mosley Review: Bullet Train
Tumblr media
You know when a film's trailer delivers a glimpse of the entire thing in a fun way? Its rare for a trailer to deliver the exact tone of a film so accurately isn't it? Well the team that designed the trailer to this film should win an Oscar for it because this film was everything it said it was gonna be and so much more. It is truly rare for a film to be this much fun and engaging from the opening montage to the closing credits. The action film genre can be a variety of things whether it be an action film that has a thin layered story with great set pieces or a great story that informs the set pieces and they work in tandem together. This film was the latter and I loved the story and all of its moving parts. It does take some influences from films like Snatch and Smokin’ Aces with the plot being centered around a person and object and it was great. There were multiple slivers of a family drama, dark comedy and revenge tale all mixed into this perfect storm of circumstance and luck. The characters themselves push the story and take you on a fun ride that you'll never forget. This film definitely features my favorite collection of characters this year so far.
Tumblr media
Brad Pitt was excellent and having the time of his life as the "unlucky" character Ladybug. You want the guy to succeed and get off the train, but there's always something or someone pulling him right back on. He was charming and hilarious as he tries to stay so Zen throughout the mayhem. Sandra Bullock was fun and witty as his handler Maria Beetle. The two of them have such great chemistry and I love their heart to hearts after and sometimes during the action. Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Bryan Tyree Henry were truly my favorite characters of the film Tangerine and Lemon. Their chemistry was electric the moment they were on screen together. Their banter was the funniest, insightful, quick and you truly feel their brotherly love toward one another. Tangerine was the perfect bruiser and Lemon was truly the brains and I loved every second. I kind of want a spinoff with those characters. Joey King was perfectly sadistic and cunning as The Prince. She has such command on screen and you love her even though she is so evil. Andrew Koji was endearing and wonderful as Yuichi Kimura and his story was one of the strongest pillars of the film. The great Hiroyuki Sanada was as awesome and elegant as his father The Elder. There isn't a role he's played where he doesn't bring such gravitas to each scene. Their chemistry was strong and I loved their strained relationship. Michael Shannon was awesome and a pure rockstar as the Russian crime boss The White Death. Once he's on screen, you just love every villainous moment of him chewing the scenery. The way his story is tied to everyone is wonderfully weaved throughout and its one hell of a payoff in the end.

The soundtrack in this film was excellent as we here the Japanese version of classic hits and they're all perfectly placed and compliment the tone of the story and emotional beats. The action in this film is perfectly choreographed to tell the story and deliver some great comedic moments and shocking twists. You have to appreciate when a director that comes from a stunt background, really shows how to shoot action the correct way. Visually the film is stunning and each train car has its own personality. Director David Leitch has made not only one of my favorite action films, but one of the best dark comedies of the year. I loved this film and I can't recommend it enough. Do stick around for one of the best story buttons in the mid credit scene that made myself and the entire theater cheer. Let me know what you thought of the film or my review in the comments below. Thanks for reading!

After completing one character route per game (getting good and bad endings), here are my thoughts on the otomes that I’ve been playing.
These aren’t comprehensive reviews I’m giving but just quick rambles of my thoughts based on just the common route and a single character route per game.
Variable Barricade: Honestly the one that I didn’t put much thought into when I bought it. It was added to my purchase on a whim because the art looked cool and one reviewer’s description of the LIs was weird enough to stick with me. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how the game made me invest in Hibari and the whack job suitors. I think the story progression being cut up into scenes across the barricade boards was well done as it gave me varying chunks of story to read through without anything feeling like it was too short or overstayed it’s welcome. Ichiya as a first route was delightfully wild but I do worry that none of the other men will quite match the energy. But I still have faith that some fun hijinx will be delivered.
Collar x Malice: I ended up liking this game a lot more than expected. And that’s despite a lot of the translation hiccups and the weird name bug within Takeru’s route. The game balanced despair and hope quite well in my opinion. And I do love it when stories can indulge both my desire to see darkness and still lead towards a bright and happy ending. Now I reached Mineo’s tragic ending before resetting my game after encountering the name issue in Takeru’s route so I will touch on both of those. Both romances develop pretty suddenly (when you’ve got less than a month’s timeline to work with, it’s inevitable) but both still made my heart flutter. Though I believe Mineo’s route was done better. I’m also very fond of Ichika who has thus far consistently shown to have kind ideals but doesn’t quite have much experience to guide her but her desire to help gets her through it. I’m very interested to see how the other routes handle the discussion of justice and challenge the characters’ resolves.
Piofiore: Taisho Era Italy game had decently high expectations and lived up to them. I like how the game doesn’t shy away from the brutality of the mafia while still making the LIs seem good (at least for Nicola, Dante, and Gilbert. Jury is out on Yang and Orlok). While I prefer more action oriented girls like Cardia and Ichika, Liliana’s position as an innocent lady suddenly being caught up on the business of the mafia didn’t feel like she was merely a damsel surrounded by men doing all the action. She’s adapting the best she can, asking questions and putting her effort towards showing the people around her kindness. Even though she’s naive to the world, she doesn’t run from it and instead tries to understand it (to varying results in Nicola’s endings). I’m looking forward to the future routes and getting more insight on what the deal is with the church because something is up there.
Cafe Enchante: The game I looked forward to the most and, because of that, the disappointment feels stronger. The cafe setting and the magical LIs got me excited. But that common route… Oof. Granted, Code Realize also has a common route that’s eight chapters long but it didn’t feel nearly as draggy (and I am replaying Code Realize right now so I can very easily compare). And when it came time to actually do a route… the pacing for Kaoru’s was fumbled I feel. I think the route might’ve needed one more chapter to give a little more time for the romance to develop and to prevent some tonal whiplash between that and the… actual plot of the route. I think it’s a good game. The art is lovely, the themes of belonging and finding understanding despite differences resonated with me, and characters are all charming in their interactions. The pacing is the only real issue I’m having thankfully.

5. Building Your Email List
Crafting Irresistible Lead Magnets
A lead magnet is an incentive you offer to potential subscribers in exchange for their email addresses. This could be an e-book, a free course, a discount, or any valuable content. Your lead magnet should align with your audience’s interests and provide immediate value.
Leveraging Social Media for List Growth
Promote your lead magnets on your social media platforms. Use platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to reach a broader audience and direct them to your sign-up forms. Social media can be a goldmine for list growth.
6. Creating Compelling Email Content
Crafting Engaging Subject Lines
The subject line is the first thing your subscribers see in their inbox. Make it captivating and relevant to your email’s content. A well-crafted subject line can significantly impact your open rates.
Writing Persuasive Email Copy
When writing your email content, focus on providing value. Solve problems, answer questions, or entertain your audience. Keep it concise and to the point while maintaining a personal touch.
The Importance of Personalization
Personalization can boost your email marketing effectiveness. Use your subscriber’s name and segment your list to send relevant content based on their interests and behavior.
7. Effective Email Campaigns
Diving into Automation
Email marketing automation can save you time and increase your efficiency. Set up automated campaigns for welcome emails, follow-ups, and even personalized product recommendations.
A/B Testing for Optimization
To find out what resonates best with your audience, conduct A/B tests on various elements of your emails, such as subject lines, content, and call-to-action buttons.
Frequency and Timing
Find the right balance in how often you send emails. Consistency is key, but overloading your subscribers can lead to unsubscribes.
8. Monetizing Your Email List
Affiliate Marketing with Email
Promote affiliate products or services that align with your audience’s interests. Earn commissions for every sale generated through your affiliate links.
Selling Your Products or Services
Leverage your email list to market and sell your own products or services. You already have a loyal audience that trusts your recommendations.
9. Tracking and Analytics
Measuring Success with Key Metrics
Keep a close eye on essential email marketing metrics like open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribe rates. These metrics provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of your campaigns.
Adapting to Your Audience’s Needs
Analyze your data and adapt your strategies accordingly. Pay attention to what your audience engages with and fine-tune your content and offers.

Unlock The Power of a Digital Marketing Strategy for the Makeup Industry
The beauty business is undergoing a significant shift in today's digitally linked world, with the power of digital marketing leading the way. The fusion of beauty and technology has paved the way for a new era of marketing strategies that transcend traditional boundaries. The cosmetics business is taking advantage of the vast potential of digital marketing to connect with, engage, and fascinate their target audience, which ranges from large international companies to modest local shops. In this blog post, we'll delve into the pivotal role of digital marketing in the beauty sector and explore why a well-crafted marketing strategy is essential.
Why is Digital Marketing Important in the Makeup Industry?
For beauty firms, digital marketing has emerged as the key to success for a number of compelling reasons. First and foremost, it offers an unparalleled avenue for brand exposure and visibility. Social media platforms, search engines, and influencer collaborations amplify brand reach beyond geographical confines, enabling makeup companies to establish a global footprint.
Moreover, digital marketing facilitates direct interaction with consumers. Personal relationships are essential to the makeup industry's success, and social media platforms allow firms to interact with their audience in real time, soliciting comments, resolving issues, and establishing enduring bonds. This engagement fosters trust, brand loyalty, and a sense of community.
The Power of Digital Marketing
The power of digital marketing lies in its ability to deliver precisely tailored content to a highly segmented audience. With tools such as data analytics and audience insights, makeup brands can identify their ideal customers and craft campaigns that resonate deeply with their preferences, demographics, and behaviors.  This degree of customization not only improves the consumer experience but also greatly boosts conversion rates.
Digital marketing is dynamic, which facilitates quick adaptation. Beauty industry trends change quickly, and firms may quickly adjust their strategy with digital platforms to be relevant and appealing to their target demographic.
Why Is a Marketing Strategy Necessary in the Makeup Industry?
In the makeup industry, where creativity and aesthetics are paramount, a well-defined marketing strategy acts as a guiding compass. It offers a road map for accomplishing organizational objectives and managing the competitive environment. A meticulously crafted strategy outlines the target audience, channels, content types, and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring that every marketing effort is aligned with the brand's overarching objectives.
Additionally, a strategy guarantees that branding and messaging are consistent across all digital touchpoints. Consistency fosters brand recognition and reinforces the brand's values and identity in the minds of consumers.
An effective digital marketing strategy for the makeup industry entails a well-thought-out plan that makes use of a variety of digital platforms and techniques in order to accomplish particular objectives. This is a thorough synopsis of a Digital Marketing Strategy for the Makeup Industry.
1. Define Goals and Objectives:
Establish the objectives you have for your efforts in digital marketing. It could be increasing brand awareness, driving website traffic, boosting sales, or engaging with the target audience on social media.
2. Identify Identify Target Audience:
Recognize the characteristics, preferences, actions, and problems of your ideal customers. By using this data to inform your content creation, you can successfully personalize your messaging.
3. Content Strategy:
Create a broad range of audience-pleasing content. This can consist of user-generated content, product displays, behind-the-scenes looks, beauty advice, and cosmetics lessons. To properly present your products, concentrate on using high-quality graphics.
4. Social Media Marketing:
The social media platforms with the highest activity levels for your target audience. Post captivating content frequently, reply to messages and comments, and make use of pertinent hashtags. Use tools like Reels, Instagram Stories, and TikTok videos to draw viewers in.
5. Influencer Collaborations:
Choose influencers whose aesthetic fits your brand. Collaborate with them to produce objective assessments, strategies, and product recommendations. Gaining more reputation and attention can be achieved through influencers.
6. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Make sure your website and content are optimized for relevant keywords connected to makeup.  This will increase the visibility of your website in search engine results and draw natural traffic.
7. Paid Advertising:
Use technologies like social media marketing and Google Ads to run targeted ad campaigns.  To efficiently target potential customers, choose certain demographics, hobbies, and behavior patterns.
10. User-Generated Content:
Invite customers to display the cosmetic looks they have developed using your goods. To show real consumers utilizing your products, publish their content again on your social media platforms.
11. Website Optimization:
Include high-quality images and product descriptions. Implement a blog to share makeup tips, trends, and industry insights.
12. Analytics and Measurement:
Regularly monitor the effectiveness of your digital marketing campaigns. Track website traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and other important metrics with tools like Google Analytics and social media analytics.
13. Adapt and Evolve:

Just rewatched the van scene in the mindset of Mike’s pov/Mike trying to decipher what Will is saying at here is a recap of my working perspective for him:
Will mentions playing D&D and Nintendo for the rest of their lives and he replies passively because there are other things on his mind that are more pressing, especially seeing as it’s a nice but silly, childish (self-deprecation not Will hate), unrealistic idea anyways. It would be nice, but that’s not realistic. What is realistic is El not needing him. So that’s what he goes back to thinking about - worrying about.
The painting gives a little insight into Will’s feelings and how much he still cares about him and the rest of the party - it affirms that he felt that even before they had the conversation about making up.
He believes that El commissioned the painting (if only because he thinks it would be a wishful thinking/stretch to consider that Will lied + Will lying to him is a bit silly in idea). He believes that Will speaking on her behalf is relaying things she said to him. He probably just got emotional because she’s his sister and he doesn’t like to think about her thinking of herself that way.
But then he starts using language like “it’s probably just because she’s scared of losing you” and “I think she’d rather just get it over with quick - like ripping off a band aid,” bringing himself in it. This language DOES indicate in a non- dishonest of contradictory fashion that based on Will’s own feelings of not wanting to lose Mike, he would assume that El’s are the same. These sentence are the only ones he says non-definitively, indicating the rest are relaying her words and those are inferences based on his own feelings. These lines that are from Will are also where Mike looks at Will’s lips the most. His wording indicates that unlike the previous “I know because she told me”, it’s “I know because I feel it too”.
- Coming right off of that is “So yeah, El needs you Mike. And she always will.” Saying that she needs him can be gathered from her words but “she always will” is, again, an inference based in Will’s own personal feelings of what is logical and indicates that he feels that it is logical for a person who currently needs Mike to always need and want him, also indicating that he feels this way. This statement (and speech) over all, communicates the idea “You are needed. By her. And I know that *because* I know how to identify a person who needs you, as one myself.”
Additionally, there is a lovingness just to the passion with which Will delivers a speech like this. The level of motivation and importance comforting Mike holds for Will is also very indicative of his love. The immediacy with which he jumped into action to comfort Mike makes Mike feel very loved in and of itself because to tell Mike that El loves him because Will wants him to feel better is a loving act in and of itself. - I would include the same concept in the fact that El may have commissioned the painting, but Will still painted it with love and care for months.
Mike looked over at Will because he heard a shaky breath or two before it went silent again for a few seconds that he briefly looked over and just saw Will turned to the window. It must have been the wind. Will is a very emotionally open person. Similar to how he doesn’t lie to Mike so this being a lie would be illogical, he doesn’t hide his emotions. So if he’s hiding, he must not be crying.

Title: Breakfast at Leveilleur's Characters: Zoissette Vauban, Ameliance Leveilleur Rating: Teen Summary: Zoissette continues to demonstrate that she does not know what a 'vacation' is Notes: The moment between old and new, past and future, Starlight and Heavensturn.
Zoissette dreamed. Of shadowed colors and feathers. Of fair skin wrapped in shade. Warmth and kindness and sharpness and heat. The fury of terrible passion, and the comfort of a soft word. Intuition and insight driven by a sharp mind and delivered by a keen wit.
And distance.
She woke up on a couch in the Baldesion Annex, awareness returning to her quickly. She felt her heart rate surge, but calmed it, breathing slowly. She was in no danger here. Despite that, she quickly took stock of her surroundings.
She had fallen asleep propped up against an armrest, legs kicked out in front of her. As she glanced over to the side, perhaps about five fulms away, she saw Y'shtola asleep as well. Being much smaller than Zoissette was, she had been able to curl on into the corner of the couch, feet tucked up under her. She was using her arms to rest her head against the other armrest, her nose tucked deep, near into her chest.
Nothing was amiss, and so she let her thoughts drift back to the night before. Studying in the Noumenon. Finding that book. Being rudely interrupted, and having a bit of cheeky fun at what she had thought to have been a strangers' expense. She had then fallen to embarrassment and the Archon had risen to amusement when she finally turned around and saw who exactly it was. Ever observant, Y'shtola had caught on as soon as she had seen Zoissette's surprise. Indeed, the only reason it had taken her that long was that, in her own words, she had rarely known Zoissette to speak so freely with strangers.
Zoissette had felt awkward after that, and strove to maintain an air of polite Ishgardian silence. Y'shtola would have been well within her rights to turn her famously sharp wit on her and cut her to the quick, but instead she settled for only needling her gently in between updates on her life, her research, and questions that Zoissette was compelled by politeness to answer.
Politeness had eventually began to fall away, and before long, they had settled into the comfortable pattern of conversation they had once enjoyed, as though they had hardly spent any time apart at all. Y'shtola had seen Zoissette's application to join her research, and decided to invite her back to the Baldesion Annex, where their conversation had gone on late into the night.
Things were much the same between them as Zoissette had remembered them, but also different, in many small ways. For one, Y'shtola was older than Zoissette, now. A quirk of the First. And it seemed to Zoissette that Y'shtola had become softer in the intervening time. No less imposing for that, but softer all the same. But she held the same confidence and quiet power she always had, as well as the same fire for life and thirst for knowledge.
Zoissette was quietly glad for it, and relieved.
The night had gone long, and at some point, they must have fallen asleep. Zoissette pulled her glasses out of their pouch, and held them up to her face without actually putting them on, her fingers playing along the rim to check a few enchantments. She noted that several of the alarums she had set, meant to keep her sleeping and research schedule in check, had been silenced. By Lavender, oddly. She could feel through the thin thread of intuition that they shared that Lavender had gone to sleep and was now resting in her soul stone, and thus unable to serve as a backup system.
Zoissette frowned at that, and tucked her glasses away, unsure of why Lavender would undertake such actions. The sprite had always had a will of her own, and thus was not always fully predictable. Still, she was always more than capable.
She decided to leave the matter alone. Instead, she checked herself over, found nothing terribly awry, and got up slowly and quietly. She knew Y'shtola could be a deep sleeper, and she was not going to bother the Archon while she got on with her day.
Zoissette made her way to the front desk. Ojika was there, bright and chipper.
"Why, hello Zoissette!" he said. "I trust you've been told that your application has been accepted and your contract signed. Welcome aboard."
"Thank you," said Zoissette. "Say, are accommodations for my lodgings ready yet?"
Ojika sighed. "Well, your application came as something of a surprise - and you've cost me some Gil in the betting pool. No, I had been hoping to take advantage of the holiday period and began doing some rearranging of the rooms and tidying up while everyone was out. I'm afraid there won't be space for you until next week sometime. However, the research that you will be doing will be taking place mostly in Thavnair - warm this time of year, unlike dreary cold Old Sharlayan. We won't be able to make arrangements for your lodging there either until after Heavensturn, but Y'shtola did volunteer to share her quarters."
Zoissette looked up at the ceiling, staring off a bit. "No, no, I did not sign up to make myself a nuisance. What about Estinien? He will be used to sharing space with a fellow soldier, if I could just ask him."
Ojika looked thoughtful. "Uncertain. He is frequently out of touch, and I have not heard from him recently. You very probably could just use his room while he is out doing whatever he does. If, that is, you could figure out where he was staying and then let yourself in."
Zoissette reached up and pinched her nose. "No, that will not do either. Until after Heavensturn, you said?"
Ojika nodded with an apologetic shrug, and Zoissette thought the matter over.
"Well. Could probably make my own arrangements once I hit Thavnair," she said.
"Are you quite certain? You'll be outside of the room and board clause of your contract if you do, at least until we can make our own arrangements on your behalf."
"Oh, it will be fine," she said, giving him a grin.
Ojika sighed, but nodded. "Alright, if you say so."
"Sure. It is of no real bother. I have other matters to attend to anyroad, this will just be one more. Though - will you need help around here?"
He shook his head. "Nothing I wish to bother anyone else with, and I find I enjoy the work, while it is quiet and peaceful."
Zoissette nodded. "Okay. Let me know if you change your mind," she said. She glanced at the chronometer. "Though I had best be going."
"Ah, you adventurers, always off to do good works of derring do and bravery. May I ask what is keeping you busy so close to Heavensturn?"
Zoissette shrugged at him. "Why do you ask?"
"Oh, no reason."
She tapped her chin with a finger and made a thoughtful noise. "Well, I told Dark I would handle her deliveries for this week in exchange for use of the special suites."
"Special suites?" asked Ojika, his eyebrows going up. He gave her a smile and a wink. "Should I leave a note for Archon Y'shtola as to where to find you, then?"
Zoissette was abruptly aware that she had completely forgotten her sense of decorum, and cursed inwardly. Maybe she was not as awake as she thought she was. She closed her eyes for a long moment, and when she opened them again, she made sure to remember her Ishgardian politeness.
"I am certain she will not care," she said. "Thank you for your help this morn, Master Ojika. I should be on your way."
He looked taken aback, but recovered quickly, giving her a polite bow. "Of course, Lady Zoissette. Pleasant day."
She paused. "Uhm. Thank you," she said before heading on her way out. She found herself secretly relieved she had caught herself before she had gone out on deliveries.
Before she saw to her duties, however, she made sure to send a request back to headquarters, asking to extend her use of the suite for a bit. She was fortunate that it was so new that many had already made other arrangements for Heavensturn. Next year, she was unlikely to be so lucky to even get to use it, much less be making unreasonable last minute requests about the matter. It would be a bit before she would hear back on that, and so she did not wait, instead gathering her supplies, and making her way up into Journey's End.
As she arrived, she looked up at her destination, and felt a gentle sinking feeling.
She had been told of the Leveilleur's home, of course. Her fellows had swapped stories of how large it was, how it seemed so grand, even in a place like Old Sharlayan that was so very fond of its grand buildings, all white stone and clean lines and wide open spaces. Not at all like Ishgard, with its gray stone and general feeling of leaning down upon its inhabitants. Still, though, differences aside, Zoissette was quick to spot the similarities.
She knew a High House residence when she saw it, and knew she had no business being there.
Fortunately, today she was the help, and she would be in and out as fast as she pleased. She double checked her cargo. School supplies for the lady's outreach program. Nyx had provided some mammets that would be used for magical instruction, and Teito had made no few conductive foci.
She was let in by one of the house servants, and had quickly made the exchange with another. They were exchanging pleasantries and she was signing the appropriate receipts, just ready to head out, when she heard an entirely too excited voice ring out.
"Ah, you must be from Gage Acquisitions. Rather earlier than I had anticipated - pray stay a moment, would you?"
Zoissette eyed the distance to the door and wondered if she could get away with pretending that that was not directed at her.
Politeness, however, kept her present. She affected a pleasant smile, and turned to face the lady of the house.
"Greetings, Lady Leveilleur," she said. "I am just dropping off your requisitions, courtesy of our resident artisans. Just as soon as the proof of receipt is signed, I shall be on my way and out of yours."
Zoissette glanced her over as she spoke, noting the beautiful bow that kept her hair neatly tied back. It framed her face pleasantly.
She wondered if she could make it work.
"Nonsense. I am always pleased to meet one of the many personages my children write to me about. Now, let me see... Alphinaud has drawn such fetching likenesses of many of you, and I have read such stories from both of them. Hold still a moment, if you would?"
Zoissette froze, all too aware of the nervous grin on her face.
Ameliance looked her over, and then her eyes went a bit wide, and she held a hand to her breast, and gave a slight bow.
"Oh my. I had no idea - my apologies."
Zoissette looked at her, bewildered, and noticed out of the corner of her eyes, the various servants of the house also giving a slight bow.
"If I had known we were to be attended by a Holy Knight of Ishgard, I would have made the appropriate arrangements," she said solemnly.
Oh, that made sense. Sort of. Kind of. Not really. Zoissette gave a little nervous laugh.
"I ... think there has been some sort of misunderstanding," she said.
Lady Leveilleur looked up at her, with a slight frown. "You are the Lady Zoissette, of the Order of Saint Thea, are you not?"
Zoissette was beginning to think that perhaps she should have stayed in her office.
"Yes, but - I do not think that means what you may think it means. Nor whatever it is that Alphinaud told you it may have meant," she said. And she was certain it was Alphinaud. Alisaie, she felt, would have been rather more circumspect.
The other woman, and Zoissette was just not quite sure if she was Ameliance, a friend, or Lady Leveilleur, a noble woman paying her unnecessary respects.
"An exile of her homeland who nevertheless stood for its ideals in its time of need. A woman paying reparations for the perceived crimes of a family member she cared for. Strong of heart and kind of spirit. I may not share your beliefs, my lady, but I respect them, as well as your devotion to them."
Zoissette felt uncertain of herself. However, there was protocol for this, and she could follow it. She bowed her head, bringing her own hand to her breast as she did so.
"You honor me, then, Lady Leveilleur," she said. "I can accept no honor, but I can accept your grace, if you will accept my service."
Lady Leveilleur nodded solemnly. "And I am pleased to accept your service, and wish to offer you my grace. And as it is early yet, I was just about to break the fast. It would honor me if you would join me."
She really did not want to.
"Of course," she said, with another bow.
The Lady Leveilleur smiled warmly at her, and gestured. "Then follow me, and I shall show you a place where you can take your ease whilst I make the arrangements."
It was about a bell later that Zoissette found herself in the Leveilleur's dining area. On the one hand, she was grateful. Her provisions for exploring Noumenon had been adequate, but not generous, and she had not yet had her own breakfast in anticipation of the deliveries being a rather fast errand. On the other hand, she was nervous, and largely felt that it would have been better if she was literally anywhere else.
The Lady Leveilleur, for her part, however, was a consummate hostess. She had asked politely after any dietary restrictions or requirements Zoissette may have had, and made arrangements to have a tea of her preference delivered - which was just now being poured into a cup in front of her. If she was being inconvenienced, she gave no sign of it, and seemed genuinely glad of Zoissette's presence.
It was one of those situations where Zoissette could clearly see and understand the exact lines of causality that had led her to the current situation, and yet she still felt completely and utterly lost.
The two sat across from each other. Zoissette kept a pleasant smile on her face as she sipped gently at her tea.
"So," asked Lady Leveilleur conversationally, "what brings you to Old Sharlayan, if I may ask?"
Zoissette remembered her earlier missteps with her conversation with Ojika, and made a mental note to be more careful with what she said.
"I have accepted a research position with the Students of Baldesion," she said.
"Oh, splendid. I know Krile, of course - and of her friends," said Ameliance with a wink. "I know better than to ask the nature of your work. But might I ask as to who you will be working with?"
That seemed safe enough.
"Archon Y'shtola, Lady Leveilleur," she replied.
"Ah. I have read so much of her from the letters my children have sent me, but have not gotten the chance to spend nearly so much time with her as I might like. But please, there is no need to be nearly so formal. You may call me Ameliance."
Something in the woman's bearing was gently disarming, somehow. Zoissette had known her fair share of nobles, of course, being the child of one herself. Ameliance reminded her not one bit of her own mother, cold and distant, however, nor of too many of the other nobles she had once known. Ameliance seemed rather more personable, and open.
"Only if you would pay me the kindness of calling me Zoissette," she replied.
Ameliance smiled. "But of course... Zoissette. Any friend of my children is a friend of mine."
Zoissette just nodded over her tea, looking up briefly to mouth a thank you to one of the house servants as they set a plate down in front of her, with a rather generous portion of eggs and bacon. She waited patiently, however, for Ameliance's food to arrive.
"Will you be staying in Old Sharlayan long, I wonder?"
"No, not very. Our research will mostly be taking place in Thavnair."
"Ah. Sunny this time of year. When will you be leaving, do you think?"
"A few days just after Heavensturn."
"Oh! Plans for the holiday?"
"Not as such," said Zoissette. Technically not a lie. Her plans were for the day after the holiday. "How about yourself?"
"Well, my husband has promised me a most splendid date night. It is meant to be a surprise, so I shan't spoil it by speaking of it further here," and Ameliance winked at her again.
Zoissette smiled, despite feeling a touch taken aback at her seeming audacity. Ameliance's warmth, at least, did seem quite genuine. Another servant came by, placing a plate in front of her. A more modest meal of fruits and greens.
"Please, after you," said Ameliance, and Zoissette did not need further encouragement, beginning the feel the hollow in her stomach quite keenly.
"Well, are you to meet Y'shtola over there then, I suppose?" she asked after Zoissette had begun eating.
Zoissette shook her head. "No. She is up at the Baldesion Annex just this morning. She wished to do more research over at Noumenon over the holiday."
"Will you be helping her with that, I wonder?"
Zoissette shook her head again. "I don't think so. It was a coincidence that we even met each other here. I had my own research to do."
"A coincidence? I would think you might have expected to see her at the annex."
Zoissette felt herself warm a bit, and took a sip of tea before answering.
"Apologies. I did not mean to say I met her at the annex. We - well. Ah. She found me in Noumenon while I was doing my own work."
Ameliance laughed. "A pair of studious scholars, then. Well, do you know of her plans for Heavensturn?"
"None that I am aware of."
"Too studious, perhaps. You know, we do celebrate the holiday around here. You might go down to the harbor and watch the celebrations, even if she does not."
Zoissette just nodded, and turned her attention fully to her breakfast. Ameliance seemed to understand the hint, and began to eat her own breakfast in earnest.
"Where are Alphinaud and Alisaie just now, anyroad?" asked Zoissette after a while.
"They are in Garlemald, handling the fallout from those towers, I believe. I suppose they have had no need to call for the aid of adventurers if you have not heard from them."
Zoissette shook her head.
"...how are they?' she asked, quietly.
Ameliance looked at her, tilting her head slightly. If there was reproach in her expression, Zoissette did not find it.
"They are well," said Ameliance. "Or at the very least, I think so. At least their letters no longer seem to be causing their father to have to flee the room."
Zoissette stopped and looked up at her, feeling a bit shocked at the revelation, and Ameliance hid her laughter behind her hand.
"Sorry. It's just - well. He cares so deeply for them both, you know. He tries to hide it, but I don't think he does a very good job of it. But they've grown so much in the past few moons. And him as well. I always told them he should trust in them. I guess now, he believes me."
Ameliance smiled softly as looked down, and took another bite of her food, and Zoissette felt a strain she did not know she had been holding melt away.
"...thank you for having me, Lady L- Ameliance."
"And thank you for staying, Zoissette. I rather hope you may come by more often. And kindly extend the self same invitation to the others. I feel... I feel as though I know so much about you, all of you. Warriors of light, each of you, no matter how you may think of yourselves. And I would love to get to know each and every one of you as well as my children do. You may, of course, feel free to stop by any time."
Ameliance smiled at her, and she saw the way her eyes wrinkled at the edges, and the softness in her expression. She was uncertain what Ameliance had saw, but she found herself feeling glad to be in the woman's confidence.
At least, she hoped she was, if she was not reading too far into the matter.
The rest of breakfast passed in easy pointless pleasantries. Feeling more comfortable, Zoissette had ventured a few questions of her own while fielding those from Ameliance, but it was not too long until plates were put away and goodbyes were being said.
Just before she left, though, Ameliance took her hand, and gave her one last of those warm smiles.
"Thank you for indulging a mother today, Zoissette," she said. "If you ever find yourself in need, please feel free to ask, my dear."
Zoissette looked at her for a long moment, thoughtfully.
"Well," she said, cautiously, "Can I ask how you did your hair?"
Ameliance laughed.
