Eddie is a fucking cuddler. One day, he stayed at Steve's place, and when they woke up the next day, Eddie was literally on top of Steve with their legs entangled. They stayed like that for at least ten minutes before they had to get up.

Steve sewed all of the Fruity Four plushies and Robin literally squealed when she got hers.

Nancy smiled and hugged him.

Eddie kissed the mother fucker.

Ironically, that was their first kiss.

Steve can play guitar and impressed Eddie by playing a short clip from an Ozzy Osbourne song.

Even though Steve spends a solid 30 minutes doing his hair, he loves it whenever someone plays with it. And it's super soft, so people like running their hands through it. Eddie, Robin, and Nancy will take turns messing with Steve's hair while he just sits there like a happy puppy like this: ☺️

So... Fallen Gabriel without the helmet?

OK SO i've been playing around with overhauling my helmetless gabe design in order for him to be more cherubic and just solidify a more definitive look in general. so for groundwork, this is the design i currently have:

gabriel and the other three archangels are unique cherubs in that they manifest one face at a time and they each have a predominant forme that together make up the tetramorph. gabriel's default is the eagle as he is the divine messenger, but he is capable of shifting between all four faces as shown. the divine fire that burns over all of his head is opalescent and i've kept the idea that it would slowly spread to his entire body if not tempered under his helmet. the eyes of the faces are like obsidian, containing deep reflects of fire much like the eyes that cover his wings being gem-like and full of living flame.

however, after he falls, that fire goes out and the solid light that makes up his head melts into a bone-like casing

his head is now "petrified", the feathers and barbs frozen stiff and the flesh of his head resembling cooled magma. the open cavity is empty, prominently displaying the light that's been taken from him (and could be reached into infinitely..............v1 tries it). gabriel doesn't remove his helmet for some time after falling, eventually asking v1 to look upon him first before he does himself.

WIP Wednesday (4/24)  Arsonist Neil / Firefighter Andrew AU (Part 157)

Andrew has just finished a delicious feast of chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, and green grapes when his phone makes a strange sound from the cushion beside him. Before he made his food, he decided to give 10 a special ringer. But this one isn’t great. He’ll change it again later. Regardless of the noise, Andrew checks his messages and is bewildered. Why can’t this man ever say anything normal?

10 How many shirts do you have? Andrew Plenty. Why? 10 No, I mean a number. How many?

Andrew isn’t sure what this is about, but he goes into his room and counts the folded up shirts in his dresser before pressing the call button. As soon as 10 answers, Andrew says, “I have forty-something shirts. Why did you ask?”

“I have eight.” 10 says. Then, “Is that weird?”

Andrew thinks about it for a moment and shrugs to himself. “Not necessarily. They’re not all exactly the same are they?”

“No. They’re all different.” 10 answers. Then there’s a rummaging sort of sound in the background before he says, “Actually, I have two gray shirts. One’s a hoodie though and one’s a t-shirt.”

“Not weird.”

“How many pairs of pants do you have?” 

“I don’t know. Probably twenty-five.” Andrew guesses, not really in the mood to count every item of clothing he owns. Before he can stop himself he adds, “If you’re going to ask me about underwear, you’d better take me to dinner first.”

The laugh from the other end simultaneously bruises Andrew’s ego and makes him smile. “Haha, I wasn’t going to. But what about shoes?”

it didn't go over smoothly at all, aka torin is once again reminded that his actions have consequences and those consequences are rarely (if ever) good :'^D varre's still fanatically loyal to mohg and views any attack against his master as an attack against himself, so torin killing mohg would be an unforgivable betrayal.

i ended up killing varre at the end of his questline in my first playthrough haha. i think for them to have a (sort of?) happy ending as they are now, torin would need to be content with serving the dynasty alongside varre and abandoning the rest of his quest (which he isn't willing to do as part of what drove him to varre in the first place is his desire for revenge and he can't give that up so easily).

on the other hand if you want to imagine a scenario where varre ends up surviving, he and torin would need to go their separate ways for a while. when they meet back up it'd be after torin resolves his quest for vengeance and comes to terms with his losses and also probably after he's burned the erdtree (and melina). by then they've both been through the wringer and are so Tired of it all that it's easier to fall back into comforting old habits with each other. it'd still take them a while to fully reconcile tho :'^)

Kirisaki Shidou is not a good doctor.

He lies in his bed, alone in a prison cell with his thoughts after a long day tending to his patients.

Yes, he is a good surgeon– but that's where his confidence starts and ends.

It's so much easier, he thinks, to work on a patient that is unconscious; to make surgical incisions and transplant organs from one body to another. There's an accuracy and precision to it, a way to quantitatively judge his skill, his craft.

It's so easy to forget how to treat a conscious patient, he thinks, when all you've ever done is work on those who can't feel the pain you put them through.

The little things add up. Forgetting to remind Fuuta that disinfectant stings and to warn that 'this will hurt', before bringing a cotton pad soaked in the stuff up to his eye. Forgetting to ask Mahiru if her bandages and dressings are wrapped too tight. Forgetting to speak in layman's terms and not medical jargon.

Forgetting how to be human to other humans.

He stares up at the ceiling and sighs, fidgeting with gloves that never come off his hands.

DMC Questions Anon here!

A Devil May Cry spinoff that is set to be led by one the female cast has been announced, and they've asked you to make the game. Which of the women of Devil May Cry will you choose to be the main character? What other characters will you want to appear? What's the plot of the game? (You can also go deeper into gameplay mechanics if you desire.)

Okay you either have it be about fixing Lady's character or Patty.

Lady has not been treated the greatest in recent years. With the OG anime lowering a majority of her character to someone who only cares about dent and money, having a piece of media adapt and develop her character post DMC 5 would be great. We could even use the 'Lady-Foil' villian idea I had a while back in this context as well.

Now, Patty (BIAS TIME) would also work great. Not only is she in dire need of screentime, but she has already worked well in the anime medium. My idea is a more episodic series where each episode focuses on Patty helping another member of the cast with whatever demonic issues they have. It'd be a great way to not only have Patty up and about but to also check in with a bunch of the cast.

I dunno, I think it would be great. (It's the bias talking)

Just ahshshs- lyney you’re so smart and cunning but also pretty dense my guy. I’m so glad you have moral standards but the fact your first thought when thawed!reader wants to kiss you is that ‘oh she is just drunk, :(‘ as opposed to ‘Ah! I may actually have a slight chance’ says something. I know you’re basing your thoughts on imperfect information and past experiences but please- I’m begging you- I know you have a big brain please use it-

But honestly, my heart goes out to him. In his half of the pov his pinning is so clear to see. I’m willing to bet money that Lyney would just happily accept the fact that he can interact with t!reader on some sort of positive level again, no matter if he is just a friend forever because she’s back! She’s real again, not just rose-tinted memories and this silent secret between the twins and Freminet. He is going through these extra and at times inconvenient steps just to keep her safe, even going against his own desires (letting Childe keep an eye on her while he goes to father) and even against his own loyalties to an extent ( i mean, the sensible loyal fauti thing to do would be to immediately report that the previously awol/MIA solider was found, wouldn’t it? )

It fits so well!! I looked up some rabbit information just to see and rabbits are so skittish! I checked it out and so many things can set them off- bad experiences, new lotion smell, smelling like a different animal like a cat!! Like they not recommended to be children pets cause you gotta be gentle. But they’re so active! Not to mention herbivores!! Lyney may not know the truth but I’m sure he knows where his gift was delivered too! Thawed reader is a rabbit confirmed.

Looking outside of lyney and t!reader’s interactions though, it’s always so interesting to see t!reader’s other interactions. The obvious joy she has when she realizes Lynette showed up, and Lynette’s instant care in asking if t!reader has anywhere safe to go to. The tense somewhat friendship forming between aether and her, where a slight misstep could mean destruction of her life but there’s enough going on for minor banter and to try and help recover from a hangover (the water, and my current guess is that is the reason why her drink is different at the end) and now the beginnings of co-conspirators between Childe and her; the former laughing and seems to be almost excited while the latter is even more tense and nervous because it’s about to get a whole lot more complicated

ALSO CHILDE! SMART MAN, SO GLAD YOU’RE IN THE KNOW! Welcome to the peanut gallery of lyney and t!reader’s relationship! Hope you enjoy the show! But now that childe is officially an active player in the story, it’s making me think about the current time line and how different it’s gonna go from the canon game. As of right now, the only confirmed event from the Fontaine archon/various other quests is Lyney and Lynette’s trial since Childe has yet to be accused of anything (so we can assume that the missing people case is still ongoing) and aether is specifically doing this to see if he can trust the twins (something you can argue about him realizing via/during Lyney’s story quest). Especially know with the knaves early arrival to push things along

I should stop myself at this point so imma just leave off with the fact Lyney is starting to feel something as wrong when faced with Childe at the party AND the fact that t!reader remembering a fair bit of what happened, but the key point being that’s it’s very blurry has me kicking and freaking out. It’s gonna get much more messy real soon.

omg . actually a lot of my Thoughts about them r au based but ^_^ i think while i am here i might as well share that they're named that is bc the idea of all of them working in a casino 2gether rlly caught on!! anyways the fun dynamic between them is that red's a dealer + deals with the finances with clown, clowns the owner of the casino and manages the casino, branzy is there as eye-candy branzy is the shill aka he gets the games rigged for him so people r more inclined to gamble more bc he's winning a lot + he encourages them, and ash is the bartender! he has arm garters and makes drinks for all of them after hours

your recent gifset got me thinking—it's really sad to see the evolution of buck's feeling of 'being seen' from something happy and triumphant (with chris and eddie) to anger, then longing, and then what is just clearly flat out desperation with natalia because he still hasn't understood that he already has everything he needs and not the idealized version of it in his head 😭

exactly anon you get it!! desperation is an excellent way to describe that cemetery scene. and if i may add, when that episode aired, the thing that confused me most was that he said that after an entire episode of learning that he needs to live for himself instead of focusing on how the people around him see him...why would he say it when a) his motivation for coming back from his coma dream was for himself, letting go of all of the anger that his parents never seeing him caused, and choosing to live because he wanted to, and b) there are so many people who've been there with him through all that he's experienced — particularly bobby, maddie, and most of all, eddie!! it felt like regression at the time, and i didn't really understand how he could have said something like that to the person who arguably knows him better than anyone.

but while i was making this set, i realized...the middle three gifs are all related to his parental issues in one way or another, with the 2nd and 4th ones directly being about margaret and philip and the middle one being about his desire for bobby's approval. and those issues were the ones that cropped up in buck's dream, those issues were the ones that he had to overcome in order to keep living. and i think he did do that, in a way. he's made peace with the knowledge that the kind of understanding he's looking for won't come from his parents.

but.....it's curious how alternate life buck didn't have a romantic partner. there was no mention of him having a wife, and interestingly, eddie didn't make an appearance in his dream either. every other important platonic relationship, from bobby to his parents to his siblings to chris to chim & hen — and even athena's voice carried over into the dream, but eddie was nothing more than a memory in there.

i think that's because subconsciously, buck knows that his relationship with eddie is different from every other relationship in his life, but his consciousness in the real world hasn't caught up yet. he's still searching to be seen, to be found, but is looking in all the wrong places because as you said, he doesn't know that he's already got everything that he needs.

i made this post a little while ago about how buck doesn't realize that he's in love with eddie, and imo that's backed up by buck's confusion once he realizes how quickly he fell asleep on eddie's couch. he knows he feels safe with eddie, but he doesn't know why. he knows that eddie sees him in a way that no one else does, but he's isn't aware of the deeper romantic implications behind this. he doesn't even know that loving eddie is an option.

as for the natalia of it all....one thing that is different about her is that she's the first person he's met that's treated his death as a subject of fascination rather than treating it with the heaviness that everyone else in his life feels. when it comes to the fact that he died, eddie gives him room to process, but natalia turns it into a celebration. and given the graveyard scene where he talks about how he's still not sure how to act around everyone else, maybe he's not ready to process it. and maybe he's so desperate to live in a world where somebody sees him that he's blinded himself to the possibility that doesn't know that he already has someone that fits that exact criteria.

as for a spoiler/interesting details... haechan says he doesn't write songs for the band because he has nothing to write about...and he was playing an instrumental track in the car...do you think his experiences with reader will finally give him some inspiration to fill in the words? :)
