"Now this? This I don't like." Thad says tilting his head up slightly to look Debron in the eyes.
"I don't think it's fair that you're so much taller than Deb."

She stares at him, not quite sure how to respond to that. She’s sure her ears are red too, matching the rest of her face. She thinks he’s flirting, but she can’t be sure. What do people do when they’re being flirted with? Should she flirt back? Or play coy? Or ignore him? Finally, she huffs in amusement. "You're a sweet talker, aren't you?"
I’m beyond thrilled to have had the chance to commission the wonderful @sovhina for this beautiful art of Thalia Lavellan! This is so perfect, thank you so much ♥

*holds a microphone up to YOU now* Your turn. Tell me about your DBZ ocs (eyes emoji)

Thalia is the one I talk most often about on here. She's a little fish alien girl, and her bestie is Pinich from DB Fusions. What she lacks in finesse and finery she makes up for in brute force, she loves anything loud, flashy, and hard-hitting. She's younger, so she has a hard time controlling her strength -- a spar with her is only marginally less dangerous than a full battle.
That said, she's very naive, and very kind. She'll give you the benefit of the doubt for pretty much *anything,* right up until you go after her friends. If you manage to survive whatever comes next and apologize, she'll forgive you with little to no hesitation. After all, you can't become a better person if nobody is willing to help you out!
At this point, she's the unofficial bad guy reformer- either they're taken with her sweet nature, or they're too scared of what she'll do to them otherwise.
Cryia is everybody's favourite trans potato farmer/time patroller space lizard with severe social anxiety (but she's working on it) At the evil space lizard equivalent of 11, she was basically completely disillusioned with Arcosian society and ran off, flinging herself into the deep recesses of space (because what else would an eleven year old do? Set coordinates? Unlikely.)
Good news for her, she managed to Superman herself onto some potato farm in the middle of goddamn nowhere! The folks there took her in, and she learned how to be kind how to grow potatoes. She eventually decided she wanted to help and to show the universe that her people could be more than just tyrants and arrogant bullies, and was recruited into the time patrollers!
She's a huge goofball, but very few people actually know this bc she's also got REALLY bad anxiety. When she first starts working as a patroller, she wears sunglasses so she doesn't have to look people in the eye. She currently lives in Conton city. (I'm still workshopping her design a little bit, I want to give her a more interesting horn shape)
Zunikki and Oyon are two that I haven't really talked about on here before but have had designed for YEARS. They're Saiyans! Best friends since childhood, Zunikki has always had a sweeter disposition than the common Saiyan, but is no less eager to fight! She just prefers friendly brawls to death matches.
Oyon is mute, due to an experimental treatment to make him stronger. Most people didn't notice, since he was already somewhat cold and standoffish; the only person he talked to regularly was Zunikki. His fighting style is to hit hard and tank whatever is dished back at him, since part of the experiment is that he does NOT get diminishing returns from the zenkai boost. He mostly just follows where Zunikki points him.
They were in offworld cryostasis when Frieza blew up planet Vegeta, and weren't discovered until MUCH later, and Frieza allowed them to join his army. After he was defeated, they just kinda started wandering space at Zunikki's behest. They drop by Earth to say hi every now and again, and Oyon has actually started warming up to the kids. He's still cold, but if the kids want a piggy back ride, well goddamnit Uncle Oyon is going to give them one.
I've also got a bunch of others that exist moreso to explore the non-lasers and punches side of the verse, mostly furries lmao.
Thank you for the ask!!!

Honestly Grover’s characterization in the show is SO GOOD so far
I love how much they are expanding the conflict between Percy and him at the beginning. The gaslighting, the betrayal, Percy’s issues to truly trust that their friendship had been real and not just Grover’s mission. Showing his anxiety, going to the elders, standing up to Chirion and Mr. D for his best friend because he can’t take lying to him.
Like, they’ve given him so much depth already. His loyalty, his anxiety, his bravery.
It’s what he deserves and the show and Aryan are DELIVERING
Edit: ALSO ALSO ALSO Sally making him swear to protect Percy is such a GOOD addition, especially knowing Grover’s background with Thalia. But especially because he DOES NOT HESITATE. He’s tiny and anxious and terrified but that oath is the ONE moment when Grover’s voice is firm and steady. I’m obsessed

△ - Do you regret killing President Thawne? (4 Thalia)
Accepting || Send me a △ and ask a really invasive question aimed at my character
"Three out of Ten."
Thalia's eyes flash up Deb sharply. It wasn't her fault, but rather it was the question itself that caused the cold look in her eyes, in the way she held her body, and in her tone as she spoke. Even the slightest crackle of Speed Force energy arced across her skin thanks to it.
"No. Not one bit. I'd do it again if given the chance. "

I saw a post abt this the other day but it's been eating me up inside so I gotta get it in writing. Plus it was in meme format when I saw it so I wanna make sure the gravity of this particular thing is out there somewhere bc I said so.
Annabeth was under the impression for most of her life that she had to earn love and respect from those around her. First from her father after he remarried, and she had to earn his attention back from his wife and kids. Then once she got to camp, she had to earn the admiration of the other campers, her siblings, Chiron and Mr. D, and basically everyone but Luke (because she earned his and Thalia's respect by simply surviving so long after running away). AND THEN she had to earn Athena's respect. That was the ultimate reward in her opinion, because that's kinda what I imagine they teach at camp: "You have to earn the respect of the gods to get them to look at you, let alone respect or, heaven forbid, love you." It's fucked up but its true. It's one of the first things Luke tells Percy upon his arrival. It's how you get claimed, earn a quest, and get all these things that Camp deems so important.
And then Annabeth meets Percy.
Percy, who, despite having his own traumas and tough road to hoe, still knows the feeling of an unconditionally loving home and person. He never had to earn Sally's love. She loved him despite him getting kicked out of school every year, despite him being stubborn and kinda an ass sometimes. She loved him despite his own view of himself. She shoved all that aside and loved her son because THATS HOW PARENTING WORKS.
And then you shove these two little kids together who've had wildly different backgrounds and I bet you'd get some interesting conversations (although they aren't shown a lot in the book or the show). Like Annabeth having to explain all the shit she's done to get her mother's attention and Percy being like "well damn."
And then he starts to notice that she applies this to other relationships too. She starts doing certain things that Percy notices as trying to gain his respect and it gets worse as they get closer and he finally has to be like "hey, you know I like you, right? like you don't have to prove yourself to me" and Annabeth has whiplash because she's never not had to earn love.
It just makes their relationship so much better to me.
