Give me more purely platonic headcanons of our faves.

Not only does this broaden a fandom’s range to include our beloved aro/ace friends, but it also brings back some nonromantic, nons*xualized intimacy. Platonic love and affection is so important!

Some Overwatch examples, for your amusement and consideration:

I wanna hug/be hugged by Ramattra without any ulterior motives besides maybe convincing him to go mini golfing with Zenyatta and myself later.

I want to thank Mercy and rub her back and shoulders because she always works so hard to take care of others and deserves to have people look after her too.

I wanna go find a bakery with Sombra where we both get conchas and she spills all the tea about people she’s hacked lol (Did you know Reaper and Roadhog both collect and discuss Pachimari?)

I want to talk to Sigma and Lucio about what the universe’s song sounds like and see if there’s some way to recreate it. Is it more instrumental? Is it more electronic? Is it screamo??? Idk but we’d have the best time doing it, I think. Maybe we could help Sigma feel a little more securely attached to his humanity.

I wanna sit on Reinhardt’s shoulder and be tall for a while (my username checks out, I assure you lol) as he tells me all sorts of stories from his military career and he laughs so loud strangers look over to see what’s happening.

I want Junkrat to feel loved and as if there is someone out there who genuinely would enjoy being his friend (without being bribed or something). Most of his voice interactions with the others are mildly depressing. He’s trying so hard to be friends with everybody but with little return. He’s a sweet guy, truly, and he would love getting to show off all his neat inventions (and explosives) to someone. Even if I don’t understand all his technical talk, I’d love to hear it.

I want to take Hanzo and Genji to a local cafe and just chat about life. What is their advice for life? What’s the funniest thing they’ve seen the other one do? Would they wrestle a bear if presented the opportunity? (Hanzo would not unless necessary, Genji would to show off)

I want to go sit in the forest with Bastion and meet all the wildlife. Not one of us verbalizes the same way, but we can all be friendly and share a magical moment together anyway.

I’m well aware of the saying that “if you want something done you should do it yourself,” but I do think this is something I encounter very little in general and thus could be more widespread. Especially compared to the amount of romantic writing. There’s nothing wrong about writing something romantic, I just like imagining loving on everybody without implying or requiring anything more.

To those that write/have written platonic interactions betwixt and between our faves, thank you. To those that write in general, whether for themselves or others, thank you. To those who read these stories, blurbs, headcanons, and so on, thank you too. Thank you for putting something into the world that makes me appreciate the creativity of people. Moira is the new leader of the NeoOverwatch organization. This is only a fancy name of her business though, in reality, the facility serves to keep her fatties in check and well fed. She makes sure they keep getting fatter and recording them most of the time to sell their videos in her website. All that food, clothes, and research have to be paid somehow.

LEAGUE

Battle Bunny Miss Fortune: 5'2, 500 pounds. Fatty in denial being fattened up in secret.

Battle Bunny Zeri: 5'2, 400 pounds. She wanted to help Miss Fortune lose weight, so now she got caught up in a fattening trap.

Battle Cat Jinx: 5'4, 200 pounds. One of MF's feeders, she does sometimes snack though.

Battle Bat Vayne: 5'6, 250 pounds. The brains of the operation, it was her idea to fatten Sarah and then Zeri. However, she has a hard time not eating part of the products

Vex: 4'0, 800 pounds.

Tristana: 4'3, 800 pounds.

Poppy: 4'7, 800 pounds.

Lulu: 4'0, 80 pounds. Lulu is a crazy feeder. Her lust of fatties went to the point that she fattened up every woman in Bandle City up to immobility. Now, she lives with her 3 wives friends, making sure they are all as lazy and obese as possible, while also giving them loads of love. She is not above fattening up any girl that catches her eye.

Caitlyn: 5'1, 800 pounds. A pure ball of lard with pathetic stamina, even worse willpower, and in deep denial. Barely mobile.

VI: 6'5, 200 pounds (pure muscle). VI used to be a fatty, however, Caitlyn took it on herself to help her lose weight by eating her food. Now, Vi is a pure beefcake who lives to pamper, spoil, and keep her beloved princess fat and in denial.

PERSONA

Ann & Rise: 5'4 and 5'2, 300 pounds and 280 pounds respectively. Ann developed a fat fetish when she went to the US. Ever since, she has been trying to fatten herself up. Rise is her modeling partner in roommate, and sadly for her, being around someone who eats so much junk is affecting her own body.

Naoto: 5'3, 320 pounds. A detective trying her best to make a living in the world. However, her love for sweets and junk food lead her to quite a few embarrassing scenarios in front of her fellow officers. Things that only seem to get worse as she gets fatter.

*kicks in the door* I heard you like Sigma and I need your thoughts on him (I have recently discovered him and I feel like I’ve slept on this)

YES... he is the current little meow meow of my heart... tragic enthusiastic astrophysicist with a good heart and a great voice my beloved

im gonna ramble now so---

you can see his origin story video on youtube and currently from what I'm getting there hasn't really been much lore for him since he released like... 3.. years ago? BUT there are little crumbs of information you can get and/or interpret from the voice lines he has and his interactions with the characters in game, some of my faves in particular being:

all the sombra lines with him where it feels like she genuinely cares and worries for him, she looks out for him as Moira and the others perform... definitely """non-intrusive""" experiments on him as he says (I am new to the OW world proper but I can't help but wonder if Talon's experimenting on him is part of why his mental state isn't improving as much as it should (his mind tends to wander).. it's already known that they just want him to be their living weapon and not actually support his research... I hope we get to see him changing over to overwatch's side and get life quality improvements with Winston's help)

the kill lines when you take down moira and doomfist, which are apparently dutch proverbs -- I wonder what his true thoughts are on his "co-workers" and if he truly doesn't realize he's being used

all the voice lines with him asking silly things which convinces me he would 1000% be the one roommate to wake you up at 4am to say things like "if two astronauts were on the moon and one threw a rock at the other one would that be messed up or what"

and... more, honestly, he's a HUGE DORK and while you can feel he's a sweet person trough a lot of the lines theres ones where hes absolutely savage ("death traveled lightyears to take you" when killing someone by throwing a huge rock at them via his gravity powers -- or, my absolute fave that made me cackle maniacally out loud, when interrupting Genji's ability "oh! sorry did I interrupt your swordplay?" LIKE... SIR.)

also bc I just realized I completely forgot to mention the main things about him:

called "sigma", his real name is siebren de kuiper and he's a 62 yr old dutch astrophysicist, focus on black holes, got his gravity powers from said black holes (experiment gone wrong), got emprisoned by the government and boy I can only imagine the trauma this blorbo has (was he receiving proper care??? therapy???? man is literally out here losing himself) and then got rescued by The Baddies TM (Talon) to be turned into a living weapon on the pretense of wanting to help him with his research

(clutches my little gay heart) I have so much love for this senior citizen I will cherish him and kiss he. which is really super funny because I started out playing him because it was funny to inflict ToesMan on my friends but then I heard him and more about him and turns out. I was the one being inflicted with ToesMan all along (we lovingly call him toesman because in most of his skins the only skin showing are his head and his feet)
