The village of Bleak Crest has a bloody history. It started in 1968 with the death of Billy Daniels, a young man who fell to his death in a tragic accident atop Lover’s Point. It’s said that Billy haunts the village of Bleak Crest, with many people attributing various deaths, accidents, and disappearances to the ghost of poor Billy Daniels.

Billy is not the only local legend in town, as the recently deceased Devon Barrett kick-started his tremendous writing career in the early 90s with fictionalizations of some of these incidents from his time in Bleak Crest as a young man, although even Devon dared not touch the memory of Billy Daniels. His books have seen him win awards globally, and he’s said to have cultivated a new wave in crime fiction. Approaching 80, he retired late last year and made his way back to Bleak Crest to live out his golden years. Those golden years were unfortunately short-lived, as Devon passed from a heart attack just four and a half months after his return home.

Many have either been personally invited to attend the funeral and wake of Devon Horace Barrett, as someone he knew and cared about in life, as per his end-of-life plans, or someone who lives locally, who has been invited to attend to celebrate the life of a local celebrity. As a well-travelled man, it’s expected that attendees will be coming from all corners of the globe to pay tribute to his life.

I, the Intergalactic Phantom Thief Strangelet themself, have arrived!

…Wait, what do you mean “who”? Ugh, does nobody on this planet have any taste? No offense, it’s not really your faults, I suppose. I’ll just have to introduce myself.

I’m the Intergalactic Phantom Thief Strangelet! An extraterrestrial master criminal extraordinaire who pulls off daring heists with style and flair! I was born 219 years ago in the core of a neutron star and have been traveling the galaxy ever since, stealing priceless artifacts and countless riches just to prove I can- and this planet certainly caught my eye in that regard.

There’s nothing I love more than the thrill and adventure that comes with a good heist. It’s the whole reason I like being a master thief so much to begin with. I also really like mangoes. What I don’t like, though, is being bored- even a few minutes of nothing to do is intolerable for me.

I’ve got a variety of abilities, but most of them, like invisibility, just come from my gadgets. The main ones that are actually my own are just my wits, agility, and shapeshifting powers that can disguise me as anyone I want- I still have to act the part for it to be convincing, though!

I really want to create a rp group, apply few elements from DnD (such as dice rolls to help determine choices and what not), use Original characters and have fun!

We'd meet maybe once or twice a week or few times a month, just see what times work for everyone.

It would be an original story, I'd set up the the structure, the rp group would be a relatively small group maybe 6 people because larger groups are harder to keep track of. And before we rp we'd cross off anonymously what people aren't okay with. (Exa: if you have a fear of spiders, we won't rp an episode where characters are surrounded by spiders or something crazy. )

We could also do mini rp sessions that could act as side stories for the people who are free to rp, and these wouldn't be mandatory at all. They'd be time killers for the people who want to Rp and have time to kill.

You'd just need:

Original character ( have them a little fleshed out character wise, personality and how they look, maybe background. I'll probably create character sheet template to help make info easier to access.)

Creative inspiration (Being able to draw or reference what your character looks like and help keep the story moving along.)

Meet at least once a month (set aside time to role play (it'll be on discord), how long rp lasts will depend upon the group. (If you miss 3 Rp you'll be removed along with your character and we'll bring somebody in. Only exception is if your having irl stuff happen,cause sometimes shite happens. ))

I've done this once or twice now, so I'm willing to give it another shot—

I'm looking to start up a small roleplay group. Ideally, between five and nine individuals. Some need to know things mechanic wise:

The roleplay group will be run like a tabletop roleplay game [ttrpg].

It will be played very similar to Dungeon and Dragons [DnD] or Pathfinder. For those familiar with the system. When I say its similar, it uses the same dice sets, stats, and usage of rolls. But it has its entire own handbook for skills, feats, classes, equipment and the likes. But you don't need any experience if you don't know the other ttrpg systems, as it has its own handbook for you to access.

It will be in text format however, like a roleplay. People will tag each other after their replies. And you'll have access to an entire server with different channel and sections for different places to explore in character.

Every individual/player will have one character (unless they would like to have a second or third, or wish to play what could be classified as an npc).

Now, if it's caught your attention this far. I'll let you know the premise of the game/roleplay:

The player/individual's characters receive a scholarship from an intentional school. It is a full ride for housing, tuition, supplies, and anything else they might need. But there is trickery afoot they have to unravel and navigate.

Things you won't necessarily know in character however: every player/character is a demigod. They have divine blood. And the reason they are brought to the school is for their divine parent to try to reconnect with them.

Other themes that there will be

If you like Percy Jackson, and wanted a ttrpg system for it. Or if you just like mythology in general.

If you like the dark academia aesthetic.

If you like the found family trope.

If you like time traveling, or second experiences.

Now, if you've made it this far, I only have a very few requests I would ask of you:

I know a lot might be interested, but again I will restate: I'm looking for between 6-9 people.

Please be 18+, there will be mature topics discussed.

Be LGBTQ+ friendly

From the days the founders of Keposis stood on the islands with no company but themselves and the incubators that hosted them, it became tradition to wish for fortune for their friends in their respective homeworlds. HUNGER IS HOLY | WIP 18+ RP Community

"To want is to worship. To be satisfied is to sin. To consume is to consecrate. To devour is divine. To hunger is holy." An original setting that has bioarcane body modification and mutation as a core concept, accomplished via magitech/arcanoscience/religious rites. It is a status symbol, a source of power, utility, vanity, piety. To become monstrous is to make yourself in the image of your gods, the first monsters, the primogenitors, the Divine Devourers. Quick'n'Dirty Themes & Vibes:

Cannibalism as a metaphor for love and also in a literal sense. Consumption is holy, baby~

The divine as monstrous and the monstrous as divine.

What is monstrous within is not always monstrous without, and vice versa.

The gods were absent and neglectful, so we rose up and ate them. Our new gods are much, much more present and involved.

Hunger. Love as hunger. Worship as hunger. Loneliness, greed, ambition, everything as HUNGER - and hunger is holy, exalted, the pinnacle of virtues.

Expression of the inner self via the external vessel of the flesh, and the implications and significance of such.

Bodily autonomy and lack thereof. Lots of vibes of dysphoria, sex work analogies, societal expectations and judgement of the flesh, the body as a holy vessel, etc.

Power. How it changes people. What they will do for it. What they will do with it. Does power corrupt, or is it simply a revelator?

The precarious tension between restraint and excess. Control of the self and control of others.

Authority and how it can be expressed, how it is handled, and how it impacts the people that wield it and those subject to it. Rightful rule, tyranny, all that fun stuff.

Very liberal society. Hedonism central.

Puritanism is bad.

POLITICALLY INTRICATE. INTRIGUE. BLACKMAIL. POWER PLAYS. HOUSES. COURTS. CHAMPIONS. DUELS. BLOODLINES. GENETIC MATERIAL AS A COMMODITY AND SACRED SUBSTANCE BOTH. RITUAL RITUAL RITUAL. RELIGION IT UP. SACRED MONSTROSITIES.
