Team dad! Ultimately decided to give Barry a ref. sheet, I wanted all the main stars members to have a design. I made his design mostly simple, thought it would suit him. Also i love the headcanon of Barry acting as a father figure to Chris and Claire qwq.
Headcanon: He shares certain markings with all his kids, one of which being the line markings near the eyes. Natalia also has the same line markings!

choices
in RE1 Hd remasterthere are 6 endings for Jill and Chris the canonical events are Chris saving Jill with Barry and Rebecca still being amongst the living and the mansion being destroyed after you fight the Tyrant for the second time
the endings are basically the same with the playable and supporting characters being swapped
Rebecca/ Barry can be killed in the mansion and on the helipad fighting the tyrant a second time
Jill/ Chris could be left to rot
Revelations 2 has a choice that you don't actually know is a choice until later on
you are fighting a boss (Neil Fisher) and he has Claire pinned if Claire shoots him that leads to Moira actually dying and Natalia being taken over completely by Alex Wesker
Moira shooting him leads to her being found by Evgeny who teaches her to survive and she does she finds Barry's badge and spends time looking for him and saves him and Natalia where they make their escape meeting up with Claire who turns up with a helicopter leading to another boss with Alex .Claire providing air support and Barry fighting her properly on the ground (fire bombs)
Re7 has you choose between Mia and Zoe
choosing Mia is the good ending
Zoe has Mia and Zoe die, with Mia having to be a extra boss
and Zoe does die how she looks in the boat is the same as when Marge dies we just don't see her crumble
imagine if we had a third option? and it was Ethan picking himself (its hard to realise you're infected with something if you have no idea how it is spread... the mold is somewhat airborne)

What's your favourite Resident Evil creature design? Mine is Lisa.
I reviewed almost each and every one in the canon for one Halloween marathon but digging through them to figure out my top favorites probably would take time so my top ones are:
Tumblr media
Ivy: absolutely flawless and iconic design, can't believe they scrapped it in the remake. The simple three petals replacing the entire head of a crude humanoid is a beautiful haunting look. I love that you know it's going to do something unpleasant when you notice it has NO fangs or claws, and indeed when it catches you it just swallows your head, and then it STEAMS because it's that acidic and your headless body crumples to the ground. Hilarious.
Tumblr media
NAUTILUS: an obscure one, only two of them exist in the sewers of one of the spinoff games and are implied to be a failed experiment that got flushed. In any setting with genetic engineering I always want to see the messed up errors that are barely recognizable. It's hard to even find clear images of Nautilus but it seems to be a big living womb that spits out swimming, exploding embryos. It also has little appendages on it like a roast turkey. Adorably abnormal.
Tumblr media
DRAGHIGNAZZO: actually two creatures stuck together who are made out of mutated barnacles, with two different heads that dangle off the back. Visually it's such a confusing design and so difficult to follow, which is clearly intentional. When I finally figured out its anatomy, I drew a quick little cartoon explanation:
Tumblr media
They stick together with the left one's big arm dangling! And they have those big "breathing holes" on their "necks" that seem to represent a bivalve siphon. There's some distinct aspects of geoduck in their design, too.
Tumblr media
CHIMERA: a top favorite from the very first game. They seem brundlefly-inspired, but maybe with spider in there originally (later games explicitly called them flies), and so messed up that the original design features a mouth in their chests. I love that they appear in only a single laboratory hallway near the end of the game and aren't even an especially threatening encounter. They just threw in this extra little weirdo to show you how far the experiments were going, and to maybe shake things up last-minute with one last new enemy you don't see coming.
Tumblr media
GLOBSTER: I love the globster "phenomenon" in "cryptozoology," even if they're never anything but dead whales and sharks. The idea of a weird blob washing ashore and freaking people out is just really fun, so then Resident Evil Revelations 2 opens with a beach full of unidentifiable lumps and when you get too close they show they have a big old goofy mouth! They're so ghastly and so cute, just big sleepy lazy piles with silly teeth! Oh and yeah they used to be people or something I guess that's pretty messed up.

—rotten work; leon kennedy.
ʚ leon kennedy x reader | resident evil | 0,6k words. ʚ leon fusses over the reader and the reader is mouthy and teases him about it. both are agents. ʚ just fluff. ʚ a/n honestly i just wanted to rizz up leon. very short and self-indulgent.
Tumblr media
“Let me catch my breath.”
You plop down on the floor, legs spread, balancing on your palms in a randomly abandoned room in the skyscraper. Fucking zombies. They have to happen on a place with over seventy floors and you have to take the stairs. Why can't they choose two-storey mansions instead?
You're heaving, jacket and cargo pants slicked with undead blood and you're starting to rack up quite the stench.
Leon, ever the responsible one, is checking every nook and cranny. It seems to be an office room and he's checking every desk, curtains and cupboards for potential danger, before he settles on the table closest to you and leans his body weight onto it. He tucks his hands into his elbows, staring at you with furrowed eyebrows.
“This is the part where you tell me off.”
He looks like he wants to, but instead sighs out a heavy breath. “Is there a point?”
“Well—”
“That was reckless.”
“Here we go.”
“We agreed to stick together.”
“That was before—”
“You have a terrible sense of direction. Running off by yourself when you don't even know where you're running off to is not your brightest idea.”
“Maybe I've gotten better—”
“Don't bet your life on maybe,” he seethes.
Leon doesn't raise his voice. He just doesn't. You argue often, of course, both on the field and off. The two of you are often too stubborn for your own good, but things are always resolved in an instant. That's why the two of you work so well as mission partners. You don't hold grudges, nor do you let harmful feelings fester.
He doesn't raise his voice but you can tell that he's agitated by the way he's glaring at you.
“Let me have it,” you sigh. “I know you've got a lot to say, Leon. Spit it out.”
“You are one of the most irresponsible agents I have had the pleasure to work—”
You quip, feigning a pout, “You work with other agents?”
“None as irresponsible as you apparently. I don't know how you're still alive—”
“Well, I would argue my being irresponsible has actually led to me not dying.”
“Am I the one speaking or are you?”
You raise both of your hands in a surrendering manner. “You, Agent Kennedy.”
He sighs. “Just, take care of yourself.”
“But I have you to do that for me.”
Leon looks over to you and his breath genuinely catches when he sees your teasing smile, the lines of your lips curl lop-sidedly upward. It's a conscious decision he has to make—tearing his eyes off of you.
He stares at you pointedly. It's a ruse, pretending that he doesn't want to care for you, that his chest doesn't grow tight with worry whenever he thinks you may be harmed. “Part of my job description, apparently.”
“Don't sound so unhappy about it, Leon.”
“Who? Me? Unhappy?” He lets out the beginning of a chuckle. “Never.”
You stood up, dusting yourself off and approach the blond. You step close—a little too close, perhaps, but the you revel in the thrill. His eyes watches you, observing your movements, following the path of your hand as it slides up his shoulder to rest on the bottom of his chin.
You nudge his head forward slightly. He leans back, challenging look in his eyes.
“You are cute when you fuss over me.”
Leon doesn't smile often—not as much as he used to. He remembers being twenty-one and throwing smiles as easy as delivering sarcastic one-liners, but it doesn't come as easy to him anymore. Yet, when he hears that, it calls upon a small smile—involuntary and spontaneous, but welcomed all the same.
“Only when I fuss over you?” He challenges, gloved hand wrapping around your wrist.
You roll your eyes, stepping backwards. “We should go. The world isn't going to save itself.”
“We should.”
This is turning out to be an enjoyable mission, after all.

Okay so my last post blew up so here’s more obscure random Resident Evil facts for y’all!
Part one: here
Part three: here
☠️The white dog you save in Resident Evil 4 is a reference to Hewie the dog in Capcom’s other game Haunting Ground which was released at around the same time the original Resident Evil 4 was. The main character Fiona also shares resemblance to Ashley.
☠️ Chris and Claire’s parents both died in a tragic car crash said to be so bad they could only be identified by their dental records
☠️ Jill’s infection (and later cure) of the T-Virus significantly slowed down her ageing
☠️ Chris is the only main character without a clear romantic interest (Leon with Ada, Claire with Leon and Jill with Carlos)
(Edit: A few people have said Claire and Steve but Steve was only 17 at the time of his death so no I don’t care how much chemistry they might’ve had, he was a minor and Claire was 19)
☠️ In the original RE2 Jill had a picture of a man on her desk, in the remake it is changed to a dog instead.
☠️ Barry Burton is one of the only characters in the series to actually retire, moving up to Canada with his family. He and Claire still stay in contact.
☠️ Leon’s signature handgun is actually a modified Samurai Edge he named ‘Silver Ghost’ made by Joseph Kendo the brother of Robert Kendo you meet in RE2 and RE3. Originally the gun was created for Barry Burton but given to Leon instead.
☠️ One of Joseph Kendo’s books on firearms can be found in Ethan’s house at the beginning of Village.
☠️ Capcom’s other zombie series Dead Rising actually has a few references to Resident Evil in them though my favourite is a restaurant called Jill’s Sandwiches
☠️ Luis Sera was apart of Umbrella’s sixth laboratory in Europe which oversaw the creation of Nemesis.
☠️ A detail not many know about Hunk is that he possesses two hidden blades mounted to his wrists almost exactly like the ones seen in Assassins Creed
☠️ Jessica and Raymond are two villains from Revelations that are not only still alive but in possession of a T-Abyss sample and haven’t been seen in the timeline since 2005 what happened to them and the sample is a complete mystery.
☠️ Another storyline that hasn’t been explained yet is Natalia from Revelations 2 and if she may or may not be possessed by the consciousness of Alex Wesker
☠️ It’s implied in the Shadow of Rose DLC that Mia Winters lost custody of Rose sometime in her teenage years
☠️ Chris can canonically pull off front flips whereas Leon can backflip
☠️ Lobo, Tundra and Night Howl of the Hound Wolf Squad actually have little smiley face stickers on the back of their helmets whereas Canine and Umber Eyes do not.
☠️ In every main series game he’s been in (RE2,RE4,RE6) Leon has had to crawl through a sewer
☠️ All of the cgi movies as well as Infinite Darkness are considered completely canon to the story.
☠️ Upon the release of Operation Raccoon City, players could participate in an online ARG which gave away exclusive files on the characters including a psychological evaluation of Hunk which is the most information we’ve ever gotten on his character. The link to it can be found: Here
☠️ Wesker’s British accent was the result of each of his voice actors attempting to mimic the last. This was corrected in the remake of Resident Evil 4 (sadly)
☠️ You can interact with the play park in RE6 with Chris, Piers and Ada and each of them go down the slide differently
☠️ The HWS member that tackles Ethan at the reservoir is Canine and the one standing next to Chris is Night Howl.
☠️ Night Howl is also the author of the laptop reports you find in the Church and the secret underground area where the Mutamycete is in the village.
☠️ Canine is the youngest member of the HWS and the oldest is Umber Eyes
☠️ Lobo from the HWS shares striking similarities to Hunk (Read my full theory on it Here)
☠️ The Duke from Village and The Merchant from RE4 actually know each other and The Duke describes them as ‘old friends’
☠️ Sergei Vladimir, leader of the UCBS is the tallest human character in the franchise standing at 6’7.5”
☠️ Thanks to the Resident Evil 4 remake, Leon can now both speak and read Spanish
☠️ In the Heavenly Island comic, the man Chris sends to assist Claire is Parker Luciani from Revelations
☠️ In RE8 the Village is heavily isolated from the outside world thanks to Miranda and thus has remained primitive but Heisenberg had his own arrangements with the Duke for regular newspapers and cigars from the outside.
☠️ Wesker actually met Claire once while he was still leading STARS. He described her as a ‘lovely girl.’
☠️ That being said Claire swears more than any other main character (Chris, Leon, Jill)
☠️ Chris and Claire have matching leather jackets that both say ‘Made In Heaven’ on the back which is a reference to Queen (the band)
☠️ Although it doesn’t appear in the remake, Barry’s ‘Jill sandwich’ line is considered canon and referenced by his daughter Moira in Revelations 2
☠️ Revelations for the 3DS was so infamous for having its text misspelled on the side of the case Capcom had to issue replacement sleeves for all the buyers who had one.
☠️ Heisenberg calling Chris a ‘Boulder punching asshole’ means his feats in RE5 either made the newspaper or someone told him about it personally (one of the hounds maybe?)
☠️ Expanding upon an earlier fact of mine, Chris knows 7 fighting styles which are: Airforce Combatives, Karate, Boxing, Judo, Wrestling, Capoeira and Kali
☠️ Jill also knows 7 fighting styles which are: Modern Army Combatives, Taekwondo, Ju-Jitsu, Gymnastics, Tricking, Lucha Libre and Kali
☠️ Leon knows 6 fighting styles: Taekwondo, Ju-Jitsu, Wrestling, Kali, Krav Maga and Systema
☠️ The reason why there’s no children in the village in Resident Evil 4 is because Saddler’s blood ritual killed them all before the events of the game (that and the developers agreed child enemies would be far too disturbing)
☠️ The developer of the original RE4 suggests that the best snacks to have while playing the game is Diet Coke and lightly salted potato chips (eaten with chopsticks to avoid greasy controller hands)
☠️ Neither Hunk nor anyone in the USS wear Umbrella logo patches (as much as cosplayers tell you otherwise lol)
☠️ In the RE4 remake, Ashley refers to herself as a ‘master of unlocking’ which is a reference to Jill’s title given to her by Barry in the first game
☠️ Chris and Leon were designed to be complete opposites of each other and you can still see that today even with subtle details (Chris punches, Leon kicks. Chris smokes, Leon doesn’t. Leon is flirtatious, Chris is indifferent)
☠️ Wesker’s red eyes glow brighter any time he experiences strong emotions which is why they sometimes shine through his glasses
☠️ Chris’s zippo lighter was actually a gift from Claire given to him when he joined STARS
☠️ Chris can’t read piano sheet music but he can read guitar
☠️ Jill can play the piano
☠️ The story behind the basement music used in the directors cut of the original Resident Evil is so infamous and has a pretty wild story behind it. The music itself is horrendously bad and said to have been composed by a deaf composer but spoiler alert that composer wasn’t deaf at all and instead was fooling the world. The story is insane and I highly recommend checking out this video on it for the full story here
☠️ Beltway from the USS Wolfpack has a metal prosthetic leg
☠️ Beltway also swears more than any other character in Operation Raccoon City
☠️ The original RE4 has more releases than any other Resident Evil game because of its success
☠️ The original RE4 was also planned to be a lot more survival horror based like it’s predecessors but the remake of the original RE didn’t sell as well as intended so the game was reworked to be more action based instead.
☠️ Crimson head zombies were also completely unique to the remake of Resident Evil and also make an appearance in Operation Raccoon City
☠️ Leon’s relationship with Helena is unique in the fact that neither of them are interested in each other and Leon instead views her as a protege because she reminds him of his younger self.
☠️ You cannot shoot the merchant in the RE4 Remake
☠️ During his time working at the Spencer Mansion, Wesker used to take long hikes around the Arklay Mountains
☠️ Mr X isn’t the only Tyrant of his type in fact multiple of him were released around Raccoon City and it’s also implied two separate Mr X’s are encountered during the story of the RE2 remake
☠️ Out of everything, crows are the most effective carriers and spreaders of the T-Virus
☠️ Hunk’s name is actually an acronym that stands for Human Unit Never Killed
☠️ Leon S Kennedy is the only playable character with a middle name, that being Scott (in fact he might be the only character in the franchise with one but don’t quote me on that)
☠️ Originally Leon’s hair was depicted as brown but was later changed to blond which it had stayed as until Vendetta made it brown again. His canon hair colour is usually agreed to be blond however.
☠️ Same goes for Chris’s eye colour which was originally blue (like Claire’s) until they changed it to brown and back to blue again in Village.
☠️ Birkin discovered the Golgotha Virus by accident while experimenting with Lisa Trevor. In the REmake you can see the G Virus tentacles on her back.
☠️ The brand of clothing and gear the Hound Wolf Squad use is a real brand you can buy exact replicas from for Airsoft called Volk Tactical Gear. There logo is printed on HWS weapons in game.
☠️ Ghosts were technically made canon in the Resident Evil universe thanks to 7 and 8 but seem to only relate to the Mold and Mutamycete (You see a ghost girl in 7’s demo/prequel and in 8 Shadow of Rose goes in depth with it)

Nanda Parbat in 30 Seconds
I know Nanda Parbat gets used as a League of Assassins base a lot in fan media, likely because that was how it was depicted in Arrow. But I wanted to take a second and try to impress upon you how cool Nanda Parbat is without having anything to do with Ra's al Ghul (because it usually doesn't)
What is Nanda Parbat?
Nanda Parbat is a fictional city sequestered up somewhere in the Himalayas. It's hard to tell exactly where, because the whole premise of Nanda Parbat is that it's a magic hidden city.
Tumblr media
You can't just walk there; individuals must embark on a pilgrimage to actually get there. Nanda Parbat is as much an idea as it is a real location-- when you seek Nanda Parbat, you are looking for spiritual development and revelation.
It's suggested that only those with good intentions can find the city on their own. However, there are maps to the city, which can allow those with evil intent into Nanda Parbat. The map isn't your typical piece of paper, though. It's split into components such as a birthmark, or a poem.
Once you're in Nanda Parbat, time stands still. The city is eternally at peace. Disease does not progress, and people do not die. You are the only thing that changes, transformed by your time in the unchanging city.
Who's In Nanda Parbat?
The big name in Nanda Parbat is Rama Kushna, the goddess who inhabits the temple.
Tumblr media
When people go to Nanda Parbat on their quest for enlightenment, sometimes they find it on their own, and sometimes they have some help from Rama Kushna. She does your typical goddess stuff, such as guiding the hand of virtuous fighters and offering wisdom.
Rama Kushna is also the one who made Boston Brand into Deadman, after he was murdered. The two have a whole history, but that's its own thing.
The rest of Nanda Parbat's population are the monks who reside around the temple. They meditate and reflect on the meaning of everything and guard the Fountain of Youth.
Wait, the Fountain of Youth?
Yes, the Fountain of Youth is a thing in DC Comics. It played a big part in the crossover event The Resurrection of Ra's al Ghul. Long story short, Ra's al Ghul died and couldn't be revived in a Lazarus Pit, so his consciousness spent some time body jumping. The problem was, his spirit would burn out the host bodies, so he hoped to use the Fountain to stabilize himself. A rival faction of assassins that had come to power when Ra's was dead want to stop him from getting revived to full strength, so they assemble the aforementioned map to get to Nanda Parbat and destroy the Fountain before Ra's can get to it.
The Resurrection of Ra's al Ghul is not a kind story to Nanda Parbat. It pretty much gets razed to the ground by the conflict between Ra's, the rival faction, and Batman.
Tumblr media
The monks explicitly tell Ra's off for bringing violence and death to the city. The monks channel the power of Rama Kushna and cause an earthquake, forcing everyone to leave the city.
If you're interested in reading more about Nanda Parbat, I really recommend reading the series 52! There are several appearances here, with lots of characters passing through on their own journeys. The Deadman series also has a good bit of the Shifting City in it too, but I haven't read it yet, so I can only recommend it as such.
Now go forth and find enlightenment!

Imperium Sanctus
(...T)he phrase “Grimdark” may suggest the name of some 2000s era Goth club. It’s a recent coinage for an ongoing craze in “gritty” and dark fantasy settings, epitomised and popularised by George RR Martin, becoming the default tone for a whole range of feted fantasy offerings from Joe Abercrombie’s First Law series featuring a dark, brooding protagonist who kills a lot of people — and occasionally feels bad about it — to Mark Lawrence’s Broken Empire Trilogy featuring a dark, brooding protagonist who kills a lot of people — and occasionally feels bad about it.
Like many fantasists with a bone to pick, mister Milbank doesn't actually know when or where "grimdark" was coined. Knowing fuck all has never stopped a critic (indeed, The Critic): Milbank goes on to blame everything from Breaking Bad to The Sopranos, constructing a spurious history of dark fantasy(?) that ultimately singles out author Michael Moorcock as godfather of grimdark.
While Moorcock’s gory, British sorcery is a major influence on today’s grimdark, the inception point of the trend is in fact googleable: it’s been the tagline of gory, British science-fantasy wargame Warhammer 40,000 since its 1993 second edition.
In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war.
Already this betrays the hopepunk's antimaterialist concerns. It doesn't matter that The Walking Dead and Boardwalk Empire are nothing alike. Taking the historicist tack, it becomes even less likely that they have a connection to 40K. But morality, as an immaterial concern, is a laser beam: it vaporizes material history. Grimdark is a specter on the pages of anything that irritates gentle sensibilities.
For the sake of avoiding googleable gaffes, Alexandra Rowland, author of books named things like A Taste Of Gold And Iron, and coiner of "hopepunk", in a follow-up essay:
There’s no such thing as winning forever. Evil cannot be vanquished, only beaten back for a day or two, and then it trickles back in, like water seeping through the cracks in a dam. Ask it of hopepunk, then: "What's the point?" And the answer is, of course, that the fight itself is the point.
In the noble brightness of the far future, there is only (___)?
Unlike Rowland, Milbank is a nothingpunk: The Critic is a conservative Christian rag pontificating everything from trans-exclusionary rhetoric to the dismantling of higher education. Which begs us to consider how Milbank so easily co-opts shades of Rowland's language to peddle a retvrn to Tolkien, on its face the last thing a fantasy author looking to innovate would want.
The Imperium of Man, the central setting of 40K, is an arch-conservative Great Man cult worshipping the once-Emperor of Mankind. This is the gate leading to the inner sanctum where the Emperor's corpse resides. Catholic readers may have noticed similarities to portrayals of the Archangel Michael fighting the Dragon (1400~, 1498, 1860), as narrated in Revelation 12.
Revelation is the tale of darkness enveloping the world, and the noble, virtuous men who persevere despite persecution and are eventually victorious in heavenly war(!). This is not dissimilar to J.R.R. Tolkien's "fundamentally religious and Catholic work", in which ordinary men persevere against darkness enveloping a world. Rowland and Milbank both champion Tolkien as exemplary, the former in the same breath as Jesus. Yes, of Nazareth.
The Lord Of The Rings is unmistakeably about the War of the Ring. Positing Tolkien's apocalypticism as aspirational fails to rebuff the basic conceit that war is a human constant and even a force for good. If this isn't the aim of a genre purported to concern itself with kindness and "giv[ing] a fuck about the people on the other side of the world", what is?
Aesthetics. Rowland doesn't call for a narrative movement with less conflict, but one that appropriately celebrates those that fall on the right side of conflict. Even just those that deigned to imagine, of slaying the Dragon, "probably drunk in a bar somewhere, I bet it can be done, though." (The writer's original temptation: a medal for thinking the right thing.) Millions of people die in Revelation, magnitudes more than in Game of Thrones, but the virtuous go to heaven forever. The Emperor of Mankind sits on the Golden Throne, Frodo bodily assumpted into the Undying Lands, Jesus curled up into a ball and just rolled away. All manner of things shall be well.
The transition from here to open conservatism is again in aesthetics, and thus stepwise. Having established Tolkien as the only fantasy writer he respects, Milbank derides grimdark as immature wish fulfillment. If you write fantasy at all, it ought to have a clear moral message, else you are devaluing reality by infesting Real (not in the Lacanian sense) conflict with magic missiles. But he's also established that realistic fiction with no clear hero is a faux pas. He wants Breaking Good and, like, The Walking Alive.
This is no surprise: if you were around for the Disco Elysium craze, you might remember this tweet (holy shit it's still up) calling for a game that uses Disco's systems to narrate the story of "a young witch" looking for her neighbor's cat. Take another step and this is the logical conclusion of an aesthetic that prizes upright moral posture: a world where the protagonist has to do nearly nothing to be good. The little village in the Alps and the events of Disco Elysium might be unfolding in the same world. But our little German girl with no problems doesn't have to participate in anything as unsightly as a Pinkerton massacre. Milbank disdains C.S. Lewis without knowing that what he wants is the end of Narnia, irrespective of the events that preceded it: the crowning of the king, who once was good. The Emperor protects!

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the shadowed streets of Gotham City, a mysterious newcomer emerged, captivating the attention of its residents, particularly the infamous criminal mastermind known as The Joker. (M/N), with his enigmatic charm and undeniable magnetism, quickly became a subject of interest for the madman.
Unbeknownst to The Joker, (M/N) had his own dark agenda brewing beneath the surface. His presence in Gotham was no coincidence; he had carefully calculated his moves, ready to play a dangerous game of cat and mouse.
As (M/N) and The Joker crossed paths, a spark of madness flew between them. The Joker's twisted mind was both fascinated and intrigued by the enigma that was (M/N). There was something about his calculated manner and hidden intentions that tickled The Joker's desire for chaos.
Unwittingly, (M/N) found himself captivated by The Joker's charm and unpredictability. There was an intoxicating allure about the criminal mastermind that drew him in, despite the danger that lurked within those twisted smiles.
The dance between (M/N) and The Joker took on a new level of thrill and danger. Their encounters became a constant game of push and pull, each one testing the other's limits and boundaries. With every passing moment, the line between obsession and attraction blurred, igniting an intense connection that neither of them could deny.
As Gotham City trembled under their shared presence, they embarked on a journey intertwined with violence, deception, and dark desires. The dangerous game they played only fueled the flames of their twisted passion, with each move threatening to either consume them or become their ultimate downfall.
As (M/N) and The Joker delved deeper into their entangled web, secrets started to unravel. Each revelation pulled them further into the depths of their own darkness. They discovered that they were two sides of the same coin, driven by their insatiable thirst for chaos and power.
Despite the treacherous path they walked, (M/N) found himself drawn to The Joker's madness, finding a strange solace in the chaos that surrounded them. Likewise, The Joker, unable to resist (M/N)'s hidden motives, admired the newcomer's twisted brilliance.
In the climactic showdown between (M/N) and The Joker, their dark desires reached their peak. The city of Gotham became their playground, a canvas upon which they painted their twisted art. In a twisted symphony of violence and madness, they realized that they were both enhancers and catalysts for each other's darkest selves.
Their bond, born from a shared addiction to chaos, threatened to consume them entirely. In the face of their destructive passion, they were forced to question their loyalties and decide whether to succumb to their dark desires or seek redemption in a world that seemed irredeemable.
(M/N) and The Joker's dangerous dance continued, each step becoming more perilous than the last. They remained locked in their co-dependent game, forever drawn to the darkness that enveloped them. In the twisted tapestry of Gotham City, they found an unlikely connection, forever entwined in a dance of chaos and desire.
Whether they would find salvation or meet their ultimate downfall remained uncertain. But one thing remained clear—wherever (M/N) and The Joker ventured, chaos followed, a testament to the power of their dark desires and the twisted bond they shared.

Looks just like his dad, finally finished Jake Muller’s design! He’s so sassy throughout re6 and i love that. Wish that capcom did more with his character and bring him up more. He is wesker’s son, i feel like that should be more of a big deal in the games. But alas, he is bound to only re6 and never brought up again. Once again hope to play re6 at some point to see his character more!
Design fact: He shares a striking resemblance to wesker, as that’s his dad. They both share a lot of similar markings, Jake is just ginger. He also has a tiny tail, to match with his short hair in game!

Genuinely a shame that resident evil doesn't really go into food that much, but I also completely understand since the "food" you see being eaten 99% of the time is people and rot. However, this will not stop me from food related headcanons, so lets talk about eating traits for the recurring (3 or more separate RE appearances) cast:
Chris Redfield- Never been a picky eater. Before RE5, he pretty much let his metabolism do all the work along with his "stay in shape" workout regimen, so he ate whatever he wanted and most of the time it was junk food, fast food, and meals with a lot of bread and potatoes. When he started working out more, his diet shifted to eating more fats and proteins since they give him a steady flow of energy instead of quick bursts. It doesn't mean he's stopped eating junk food or eating out. His palette simply changed from eating bags of chips and a roll of cookies everyday to maybe a large bag or two of chips and a large pack of cookies that he slowly finishes over the span of a few weeks. Beer and water are interchangeable depending on the meal.
Jill Valentine- She's the pasta person that will use a fork and a spoon underneath to twirl her noodles before eating them. Loves anything covered in a good savory sauce, and she will tear bits of bread off to swipe the rest of her plate clean. She prefers chicken over beef and pork over tofu. Entered a hot wing eating contest once on a dare, and she lost, but she made sure to find out what hot sauce they used so she could keep a bottle in her pantry. She drinks a lot of water, and she likes the taste of it. Not a fan of tea unless it's iced and sweetened heavily. Otherwise not really a fan of sweets when it comes to candy or baked goods unless there's some tartness or sourness to it.
Rebecca Chambers- Her diet leans more into foods she doesn't need utensils to finish like sandwiches, wraps, tacos, and the classic pizza fold with thin crust. She has a sweet tooth, but this is mainly for drinks and hard candies. She loves soda. She doesn't like how gummy candy sticks to her teeth due to the texture. Baked sweets are okay as long as they aren't super sticky to handle, but she'll make an exception for things which have a heavy amount of chocolate. She has a bag of mini-muffins on her desk for breakfast in the mornings. People know not to take any unless they desire her wrath. She knows when Chris has eaten them when she see's a package of snack cakes and an apology post-it note in her drawer.
Barry Burton- Before the gun incident, Barry was the guy who ate primarily meats and very little vegetables unless his stomach was fighting him. After the incident, he opened up his palette more to show he appreciated the hard work put into the meal. Ask him what his favorite food is and his answer changes every time cause it's always what his wife cooked for dinner the night before. He's a dinner guy. He's either too tired in the mornings or too in a rush to go to work, so breakfast is a no-go, but dinners are spent with his family, and post Revelations 2, he cherished them even more. Only drinks water from the tap.
Albert Wesker- Eats expensive looking food because it has the least amount of mess during consumption, and is an ego boost to his god complex wherein everything has to be prepared exactly to his taste. If during his time with S.T.A.R.S they managed to drag him out to eat, he would get a drink and nothing else. He doesn't like limp vegetables no matter how much dressing people cover them in to compensate, and he hates greasy food. His taste towards sweet things are minimal. He enjoys sweeter cheeses like cream cheese or mascarpone, and he tried to like tiramisu, but he didn't like how soft angel fingers are. He will also only eat macarons with a dark chocolate filling sandwiched between. Neutral about water and enjoys teas and wines.
Claire Redfield- Was the pickiest eater as a kid. Hated it when the food on her plate touched, or the juice from one part of her meal touched the other. She had the special disposable plates where each part of her meal was separated so that she'd actually finish the food she was given. She was also disgusted with canned vegetables. As an adult most of those hang-ups are gone. She'll eat almost anything now, and she loves trying new foods from the places she travels to. Flatbreads are her best friend. Pita, naan, chapati, and so on, she can make a meal out of bread and butter alone. She still hates canned vegetables, but she buys fresh or frozen vegetables and incorporates them into her meals where she can. She also hates the taste of water. She'll go for coffee or tea first.
Leon Kennedy- Allegedly is relaxed with all foods except when there's one thing on it he doesn't want to eat. No pickles on his burger. No red onions in his guacamole. No sliced fruit in or on his cake. It's not even that he hates these ingredients or has a texture discrepancy. He just has preferences on where they should be and where they shouldn't. He'll put those same pickles on his club sandwich, or ask for red onions on pizza, and he loves a good fruit pie. He also eats so many of those pre-packaged fruit cups. Neutral about regular water but treats flavored sparkling water like a treat and sometimes hides it in his flask. It's a fun prank to play on Claire.
Ada Wong- Eats more vegetarian style meals, but is not a vegetarian. This isn't done on purpose or for any particular reason. Simply a lot of the meals she favors tend to have an equal amount of vegetables and grains to a lower amount of meat, and some cooks are much more scarce on the meat than others. This resulted in a palate shift where she's fine if there isn't meat on her plate. She's not a big fan of greasy, deep-fried foods, but her guilty pleasure is shrimp toast, and she only has it off the clock when she finds someone who makes it well. Her other guilty pleasure is cinnamon sugar donuts, and she has that more often as a snack to finish off her lunch. Neutral about water and has an iced coffee preference.
Ingrid Hunnigan- She likes rice more than bread and will eat several bowls of rice with whatever the main food is if they go together. Seasoned and spiced long grain rice or plain sticky short grain rice, she'll enjoy them all as long as it's prepared correctly. Loves eating tofu. She'll trade any meat for tofu except for seafood. She's the one ordering surf and turf or the dish with shrimp in it if the option is available. Yet, she cannot eat anything with a face. She doesn't care how pretty the presentation is, there shouldn't be a shrimp or lobster head on her plate when she gets it. She always orders dessert unless she's eating with others, and likes anything cherry flavored. Enjoys drinking water and has to drink water between her energy drink refills.
Thanks for getting to the bottom of this even if you don't agree with any of them! I'll gladly do more of these for any other RE characters if asked, and I'm open to playful debate/convo about the ones listed or not listed.

Resident Evil 6 is the worst RE game experience that I've ever had. Here are all the reasons that I believe this true based on my experience with the game.
There's a cutscene like once every two minute. It's excessive. This is a game, not a movie.
There are a lot of QTEs
The game doesn't look, feel or play like any kind of horror game.
The characters are so over the top in how they act that it's hard to take any of the seriously.
You have to zoom in to even shoot one of your guns, otherwise you'll just trigger melee attacks.
General aiming is so slow too. Like it's slow to aim and move from target to target and that is not good, especially for the amount of fast moving enemies in the game.
The sniper rifles have such and over the top and unrealistic amount of scope sway that it makes sniper rifles unusable.
The camera is god awful. Some characters have the camera set in a way to be over the left shoulder and yes, you can change it, but if you open a two person door or transition out of a cutscene, the camera will reset back to over the left shoulder which is annoying. There's so much camera shake when sprinting that it makes it hard to run in a straight line. The camera is also 98% responsible for the fact that an escape sequence in the 5th chapter of Chris's campaign is impossible as the camera keeps changing position and angle so frequently that I get stuck on walls and fail so much that I skipped this and never finished that campaign.
Not a fan of the skill point system because this system affects how much and what kind of ammo drops from enemies and that is annoying.
The escape sequences just suck in general. The one in chapter 5 of Chris's campaign is the worst but the snowmobile one in Jake & Sherry's campaign was also infuriating too. I don't know why these require so much precision to not fail but they do and it's stupid and I hate those sections.
I've played a total 6 RE games, seven if you count this one, and none of those games have come close to the piss poor experience of a game as RE6 has shown me to be, not even Revelations 2. I would definitely NOT recommend this game to anyone, even if you're a fan of the franchise.
