Seeing @keakruiser making AUs in a bullet point storytelling format inspired me to take a crack at my own AU that I've been thinking about for a bit. What would happen if, in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, after Mario and Luigi are separated, Mario was the one who ended up in the clutches of Luigi’s eventual arch nemesis, while Luigi teamed up with some of his own close allies to go rescue him? Essentially The Super Mario Bros Movie, but with the brothers' roles reversed. So, without further ado...

The Super Mario Bros. Redux (Pt. 1)

The beginning is much the same as it was in the original Super Mario Bros. Movie until they are separated in the warp pipe, with two exceptions: 1. When their van breaks down, Luigi's first instinct is to take the tool kit and try to fix the motor (mechanic Luigi, my beloved). But before he can get a good look, Mario insists that there's not enough time, and heads to the job on foot. Luigi closes the hood of the van and follows him. 2. After Mario leaves the dinner table, the focus goes to Luigi's conversation with his dad rather than Mario holed up in his room.

"What did I say?" "''You're bringing your brother down with you'?" Luigi asks, finally able to get a word in now that his uncles have shut up. "Why would you say that?" "Luigi, be honest. How much did that commercial cost? How many new clients has it gotten you? Huh?" "It's only been a day! And Mario'll figure something out. He always does." Luigi insists, taking his brother's plate of pasta and picking it free of mushrooms. "I just want to help him out along the way."

Pio sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose. "You can't hide in your brother's shadow your entire life, Luigi. One of these days you're gonna have to man up and start making your own decisions." Luigi doesn't answer, he simply finishes removing the mushrooms from Mario's plate, and gets up from the table to deliver the food to his despondent brother.

After Mario and Luigi attempt to save Brooklyn, after they end up in the warp zone, and after they are ripped from each-other's grasp, Mario is dragged into an unsettling looking pipe surrounded by purple smoke and overgrown with gnarled branches.

Luigi flies onward, emerging from a pipe inside what looks to be another sewer, not too different from the one back in New York. No sooner does he regain his senses does he find himself dragged away by a powerful blast of suction. Flying backwards through the air, he stops suddenly as his back clogs the nozzle of a strange vacuum-like contraption being carried by a little old man.

"Oops! Sorry, Sonny! I thought for certain you were gonna be a ghost!" the old man apologizes, releasing Luigi from the vacuum's suction with a flip of a switch. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small device that loosely resembles a hand-held vidoegame console, reexamining the numbers flashing on the screen. "When my readings showed that pipe 983 had suddenly reactivated, I thought for sure King Boo was trying to use it to send his band of ghosts to Sarasaland!"

Before Luigi could ask one of the thousands of questions on his mind, the old man introduces himself: Professor Elvin Gadd (E. Gadd for short.)

Luigi introduces himself in return, then asks about his brother. He tells the professor about their situation in detail, describing the warp pipe that Mario had disappeared into.

E. Gadd tsks sadly and shakes his head. He explains that particular pipe leads to "Evershade Valley," and though the valley used to be perfectly habitable, ever since King Boo shattered The Dark Moon nobody who has set foot in that land has ever returned.

"Wait, what do you mean? Who's King Boo?" Luigi asks "Well! You truly are out of the loop!" E-Gadd chuckles, "Then again... I remember how little I knew when I first arrived in this world." He continues to talk while leading Luigi through the underground, casually clearing a path for them with the powerful blowing and sucking functions of the vacuum. "King Boo is nothing less than the lord of ghosts! He is the master of illusions, the reigning tyrant of the undead, the loather of all living flesh, and– at the moment– the sole ruler of Evershade Valley."

This description unsettles Luigi. He retorts that if that's the case, he has to get to Evershade Valley as soon as possible. As frightened as he is, he's never been so frightened that he couldn't help his brother out of a tough spot, and he knows Mario would do the same for him in a heartbeat.

"Well! In that case I suggest you stick with me for a bit. And keep those tools with you." The old scientist gestures toward the tool bag Luigi had dropped on the ground in the mayhem, "I may have a few uses for them."

Just as Luigi comes to the question of where they are currently, Professor E. Gadd opens a sewer cover and leads him out into the middle of a big bustling coastal city in Sarasaland. Think the Daisy Circuit from Mario Kart, but way larger and more crowded (and missing the romantic statue of course.)

Luigi struggles to keep up with the elderly scientist, who weaves his way effortlessly through throngs of turtle men, snake monsters, insect soldiers, giant sentient heads made out of stone, and a vast array of other strange and fascinating pedestrians.

"Stop your dilly-dallying, youngster!" E. Gadd eventually calls, getting fed up with Luigi's slow, bewildered pace, "I've got a meeting in The Birabuto Kingdom, and my train– our train– leaves in fifteen minutes!" "Birabuto Kingdom?" Luigi asks, allowing himself to be shoved along, "What's that? What about Evershade Valley?" "So impatient! Do you think I'd send you into such a place unprepared??? No no, first I'm going to perfect my equipment, then I'll help you find your brother."

E. Gadd purchases their tickets and they board the crowded 64 Express. Once seated, Luigi's eyes are immediately drawn toward the window. He stares out, deep in anxious thought as the train chugs along, traveling from the coastal city into a desert landscape.

Then, we switch over to Mario. Standing up and dusting himself off, he looks around to find himself in the gloomiest place he'd ever seen... for the little he is able to see. There is a thick purple mist hanging in the air, and the path before him is shrouded in the branches of a forest long dead.

Loudly calling out his brother's name on the off-chance he was somewhere nearby, Mario follows a light in the distance until he stumbles across a lone boo. More confused than frightened, and feeling a little sorry for the white specter shyly covering its face, Mario bends down for a moment to examine it, assuring "hey, don't worry! I won't hurt you, I'm just a little lost is all."

Suddenly, he is ambushed by a colorful trio of ghosts: a greenie, a slammer, and a hider. He tries to fight back, but every time he attempts to shove them off or swing his fists he phases right through them.

His attackers knock him around a bit until Mario succeeds in slipping away. Now in a panic, he continues rushing toward the distant light, far faster and more recklessly than before.

Eventually, he gets close enough to discover the glow was coming from the lit windows of an old mansion. He enters and – for the little good it will do – shuts the door behind him.

He wanders the halls for a long time, roaming from room to empty room, all the while haunted by the shadow of something following him. Something big.

At last, he reaches a towering portrait room. Unlike the rest of the mansion it is teeming with life, full of frightened faces pressed against picture frames, begging for help.

Mario is frozen in a moment of fear and confusion, but quickly snaps out of it. He rushes to the nearest portrait– an image of a strange little mushroom man– to ask what is wrong and what he can do.

Before the toad can give a coherent answer, the eerie presence that Mario had felt when he first entered the mansion casts a looming shadow over him.

He turns around and raises his fists in helpless hopes of defending himself. The candles of the surrounding sconces go out all at once, and in the pitch black darkness a cacophony of cackles fills the air....

Welcome to the Sweet Voice Cafe, a HLVRAI AU!

The cafe serves ice cream, hot drinks, and a few options of pastries! Their special includes different themed ice creams with sweet voice ingredients that give actual effects. (Calming, kindness, sleepiness, love, etc.) The decorations are loud and bright, driving away most “karens”. Sunkist is the mascot! The science team has a large apartment upstairs where they reside. It’s basically a collection of Outcodes. This is an AU where Black Mesa, aliens, and powers don’t exist. They simply exist in the Half Life video games. The government has taken notice of this establishment, but are so frightened by the unknown powers of these entities, that they don’t take action.

Information about all characters below!

Benrey (Benny)

He/It/They (He preferred) Nonbinary Omnisexual

He messed around and found out, escaping his reality for but a few minutes. The universe didn’t like that and hard reset, replacing them with an identical Benrey. He can visit his old AU, but if he ever tries to interact with someone he gets teleported out of distance. He eventually found the Sweet Voice Cafe. In his free time, he enjoys working there (it supplies sweet voice or works the cash register sometimes), playing video games, or traveling the multiverse, usually the latter.

Outfits include blues, purples, and pinks, plus sort of 80s aesthetics. Comfy clothes like hoodies and sweatshirts. It does have some casual hats, but his helmet is a comfort item.

Mr. Coomer

He/Him Trans Bisexual

He’s from an AU where he became self-aware way too early on and panicked. The game didn’t like that and expelled him from the universe. He floated in the void for a bit, but luckily not long enough to go crazy, less than a couple of days. He was rescued by Bubby and they ended up traveling together for a while before meeting the others and settling down. He became a co-owner of Sweet Voice Cafe, but enjoys working alongside everyone, usually greeting customers. He’s a very fun and extroverted manager, but takes harassment of his employees very seriously. A look alone can scare off the worst of customers.

Outfits include collared shirts, Hawaiian shirts, and rolled up sleeves. Likes green tones and bootleg brand logos.

Powers:

- Sweet Voice

- Advanced Biotech (extendo arms/legs, rocket launcher arm, artificial colon, etc.)

- Sometimes unable to feel pain and others times feels it to the extreme (not allowed to work with the hot items)

- Glow in the dark eyes/Night vision

- Can eat anything (he’s considered the trash disposal lol)

Bubby

He/Xim Agender Pansexual Demiromantic

Bubby’s world was dismantled very quickly by a virus, only a few minutes into gameplay. Bubby had only met Tommy for a short moment. When the world glitched out of existence, his body went into overdrive to protect him. Xe floated through the void for a long time in a coma. He finally awoke when a faceless NPC let him out. After exploring his powers, Xe traveled the multiverse alone at random for quite a while, a couple years at least. He met Coomer and they settled down in an unknown AU after about a year. He’s a co-owner of SVC, but prefers to work more behind the scenes, ordering people around in the kitchen and making hot drinks (no need to pay for machines yippee!). Although he’s strong enough to pick the AUs he goes to now, he only uses it to visit rage rooms lol. He has a couple pet Snarks named Pyro and Ember.

Fashion-wise, he would wear any type of outfit and SLAY. But his preferences include leather jackets, turtlenecks, and flowy skirts. He prefers cyan, black, red, and neon colors, especially if it has flame motifs. Xe doesn’t wear pastels unless it’s blue.

Powers:

- Ultimate Lifeform

- Pyrokinesis

- Controlled Multiversal Travel

- Turning into a car (and speaking to/controlling them)

- Translation of any language

- Telekinesis

- Pretty much any power you can think of. You have no idea what he will do next and he likes it that way.

Tommy Neapolitan

He/Him Cis Asexual Panromantic

Tommy hails from a world where he chose his last name based on ice cream, and loves smoothies instead of soda. He experienced the entire game before he was taken during his birthday party at Ben and Jerrys. (SVC) Gman, grieving from his loss, saw Tommy and embraced him, taking him with him to the next AU. With the lack of Tommy, his original world was overwritten to fix it, effectively replacing him. Gman and Tommy didn’t get along for the longest time, but now they’re on speaking terms, albeit tense. Tommy manages most of the ice cream department because of his expertise in flavors. He also does the bookkeeping.

Tommy wears mostly soft colors, usually yellow, orange, and pink coded. He prefers loose clothing, but ties it back when working with food.

Powers:

- Time powers

- Glow in the dark eyes/Night vision

- Sweet voice (better at reading than speaking it though)

- Semi-photographic memory

Gordon Martinez

He/Him Trans Bisexual

Because he hails from a “it is a game” AU, you can imagine how shocking it was when supernatural stuff happened in his OWN home, not in the VR set. To this day, he’s still unsure what exactly happened. Aliens? The government? Fairies? He doesn’t know and doesn’t care. When they started getting attacked, his first instinct was of course to protect his son. Soon enough, Bubby rescued them and brought them to SVC. He is divorced, but luckily Gordon has full custody and is just grateful his son is safe. He was more than happy to settle down, despite Joshua’s grumblings. He helps with the miscellaneous baking in the kitchen. His bestseller is his croissants! In his free time, he enjoys streaming or binge watching tv.

He’s drawn to warm colors for his outfits, usually oranges and browns. He likes sweaters or shirts with funny dad jokes. He has a couple of hoodies as well.

Joshua Martinez

He/Him

Joshua is 6 years old. He doesn't understand what happened, but whines to Gordon about missing his friends and why they can’t go back. He’s happy he gets a big room to himself now at least! Gordon eventually enrolled him in a nearby school. He enjoys cowboys, music, and video games. His least favorite class is math. He very much enjoys the free ice cream he gets from the shop. Benrey had to be scolded for giving him too much one time asdgfhjkl.

Tshirts with logos! Doesn’t have a color preference yet, but does enjoy his cowboy hat and assorted bandanas the team keeps getting him.

Powers:

- Puppy dog eyes you cannot resist (but should learn to)

George Mantle (GMan)

He/It Agender Aroace

George lost his Tommy in a freak accident that also wiped out his entire world. He wandered the multiverse aimlessly, unfortunately not finding any AUs with a Tommy either. It met a Slick once, but noticed how differently they sounded and acted, so he didn’t pry. The first Tommy he saw was Neapolitan. He immediately hugged him, and the universe decided “oh hey, angst” and kicked them both out. It took a very long time for the two to get on good terms. It tries its best in forming a connection though. Gman focuses on keeping the establishment running and secretly watches the government to make sure they don’t do something… unwise to his friends. He wants nothing to do with multiversal travel anymore, no siree.

He wears lots of suits. They’re just the most comfortable to him. They do end up varying in color and pattern. One time Tommy got him a long sleeved shirt with a pattern of a fake suit on it and he nearly cried. (Tommy took it to mean the gift was bad, but Gman was just moved his “son” was trying to make a connection.)

Powers:

- Time manipulation

- Clipping/glitching

- Teleportation

- Invisibility

- Glowing eyes/Night vision

- Could breathe in space/underwater but has no interest in doing so.

Forzen

He/She Bigender Abrosexual

Forzen doesn’t quite remember where he came from. She just woke up here one day, I guess. He doesn’t live with the science team and only shows up every once and a while as a customer. He only orders original Rocky Road ice cream. In reality, the government asked her to keep an eye on SVC. Since this is a world where aliens and supernatural occurrences don’t exist, they’re very unsure how to handle the situation. Frozen is laid back and bored over the whole thing. She’s just happy he gets a free living space and unlimited pizza and textbooks at his disposal. The government asked what he wanted to graduate in, and he never ever elaborated.

He mostly wears baggy t-shirts and jeans, sometimes cargo pants. Dull colors or funny phrases.

Powers:

- Teleportation

- Super Speed

- Indestructibility (this greatly frightens the government, especially after he denied wanting to fight for their military)

Darnold

They/He/She Genderfluid Asexual Demiromantic

Darnold is from an unknown AU. Maybe. They either remember and don’t want to talk about it, or don’t care. She very quickly adapts to the new place and the science team welcomed him into their apartment. He very much enjoys his place in the cafe, able to experiment and mix flavors and sweet voice combinations in his lab. Tommy tried to help gather sweet voice, but he’s not good enough at it himself, and Sunkist wouldn’t listen. So Darnold has to stock up on the sporadic times Benrey returns. They enjoy flying kites and playing TF2 in their spare time.

Their favorite outfit is sweater vests and she enjoys darker warm colors, like maroon and purple. She collects various bow ties.

Powers:

- Fast Healing

- Flying

- Not much else, but can invent stuff easily from scrap metal and spare parts

Sunkist

She/He/It

No one knows where Sunkist came from because, well, she can’t speak. As he is the perfect dog, he doesn’t shed, and is allowed to freely roam the cafe, or wherever else she’d like to wander off to. As the mascot, it is well beloved by the community. It can change his form from a flat (and slightly glowing and transparent) png to a human-sized dog at will. Very quickly bonded with Tommy and became a support when he was struggling with the situation. It cares for everyone on the science team, regardless of whether it listens to their demands or not.

Sometimes wears bandanas, collars, or bows with soda motifs. No one gifted it to her, she just appears with them sometimes and they may change when you blink . . .

Powers:

- Immortal and indestructible

- Clipping and flying

- Teleportation

- Glowing (including in 3D form, but it's by random)

Cinderella boy pokemon AU; #1

~Buddy~

Liepard ♀️

Starter. Ex Libris gives a pokemon egg to everyone once they hit the age of 10, the same age they are allowed to start collecting narratonin, so the pokemon can assist the key bearer. Buddy hatched a purrloin which later evolved into a Liepard.

Liepard's are elegant and sleek pokemon with gorgeous fur, despite their apperences, Liepard's are generally vicious and moody.

Buddy's own liepard isn't any different with generally unfriendly attitude towards strangers. She doesn't shy away from scratching her own trainer if he happens to displease him yet will act like a kicked lillipup if she doesn't get hourly kisses and pets from Buddy.

She is also Buddy's stylist and personal trainer as every morning she spends 15 minutes grooming his hair to perfection and all the excersize Buddy really needs is carrying that spoiled apex predator, which is almost the same height as him, around when she feels like getting babied.

Arbok ♀️

Tamed pokemon. Ekans is a regular pokemon in the abondened corners of the ex libris dungeon, before he got his first pokemon, Buddy used to spend hours trying to befriend this one. Getting poisoned countless times in the progress. The second Buddy got his first pokemon and pokeballs, he ran to the dungeon to finally catch her. He was so excited that he fumbled the pokeballs so the Ekans headbutted one herself.

She enjoys eating lots of treats, getting tiny scratches with a tiny toothbrush and regularly committing to Buddy's life by wrapping around him as he sleeps.

In her defence, she really loves cuddling and doesn't realize she is squeezing too hard in her sleep. Buddy doesn't mind it one bit.

Ariados ♀️✨

Shiny (I couldn't miss the chance to make her purple) and Buddy's first catch. The abondened corners of the dungeons of ex libris attract many small wild pokemon and makes it a prime spot to train. Spinarak's prefer forests so Buddy never saw one before catching her.

It wasn't until a whole month later that he learned his spinarak was shiny.

She enjoy creating eleborate patterned lace webs to decorate with and seeing his trainer add them to his clothing. Ariados' has extremly sturdy webs so Buddy regularly wears them and uses them to accessorise. (And, well, she gets sad when he doesn't.)

Salazzle ♀️

Rescued pokemon. Buddy found her as an injured salandit and sneaked her inside the Ex Libris headquarters until she healed.

But she never left and now Buddy has a giant poisonous lizards bigger than him.

Salazzle is an extremely affectionate pokemon. Combined with her natural strength, you get a pokemon who can easily pick Buddy up and carry him around despite his protests.

Nidoking ♂️

Caught pokemon. When Buddy first met him, he was an unnaturally large Nidoran that he first mistook as a Nidorino that had a knack for knocking down trees. It took three hours and countless pokeballs before Buddy finally added him to the team and learned that he was still just a Nidoran.

His unnaturally large proportion continued on as he evolved, allowing Buddy to ride him when he was just a Nidorino with no trouble. As a Nidoking, he can easily tower over other of his kind when he is on two feet. But because of his mass, he can't support his weight for too long and always walks around in 4 feet. He almost always has at least one of his teammates hitching a ride on his back.

He is extremely aggressive and territorial. Lashes out easily at strangers which forces Buddy to spend every waking hour keeping him in check. Thankfully, he seems to accept his trainer and teammates as his pack. Showing incredible patience to their shenigans.

Galarian Slowking ♂️

Stolen pokemon. Buddy saw him at a night fair he snuck out to. He was dangerously underweight and overworked as his trainer used him for 'shows' and neglected to give him breaks or water. After seeing the Slowking pass out from exhaustion, Buddy sneaked backstage and stole him.

After feeding and tending to him, Buddy released the pokemon and went back to ex libris. Around 2 months later, he woke up to his Liepard snarling up a storm and the same Galarian Slowking standing in his room. After that, he never left.

He generally prefers to do his own stuff but hates to be left alone. Carrying his stuff to whatever room Buddy is in so he can tinker with his stuff and bask in his trainers presence. He also enjoy getting fed by hand and claimed the end of Buddy's bed as his own.

his mom taught him how to sew. lets say after a mishap with the whole 'different dimension' thing, you're bummed cause you got a hole in your favorite shirt. billy would be like "i can fix it for you" and you're like "what??" but he just gets mad and goes "just give me the fucking shirt" and then the next day he's bringing it to you good as new

hates cooked carrots

can fall asleep anywhere. couch, car, at a party, you name it. he will find a spot to fall asleep

he was actually very interested in supernatural stuff when he was younger. and then when max started telling him about everything billy was like "wait. i read this about... blah blah blah" and max is just so surprised

he can totally make a mean cocktail. you want a pina colada? whipped up in seconds. craving a margarita? he's got the salt ready. feeling like an old fashioned? liquor's already in front of him.

Space Orcs AU yet again, because I wanted to tweak Dal a little bit, wanted to draw his dog again, and draw B-Junes again, all in one go owo)b

And also wanted to make another space background, thanks to Mario RPG. Stars are pretty...

Anyway more tidbits under a readmore, here we go!

Bowser Junior

During an experiment that Iggy and Ludwig were performing in hopes of improving the travel speeds of their spaceships, an accident caused all eight members of the Royal Brood to be pulled into multiple wormholes and scattered across the cosmos. Junior ended up on a planet filled with Dino Piranhas, and struggled to survive until a trio of strange, squishy creatures found and seemingly adopted him.

While Junior tried keeping his distance out of fear that these squishy folk were actually kidnappers, it didn't take long for his curiosity and need for comfort to overpower any of his fears. He bonded fastest with the purple-maned one; often riding piggyback around the ship or curling up next to him and his fuzzy friend when it's time to sleep. He turns out to be a quick learner when it comes to their languages, easily figuring out short sentences in English and, by courtesy of the red-clad one, several curse words in Italian.

Dalex

A fifteen-year-old human who was snatched in the dead of night while taking his dog out for a late-night bathroom break. Despite his near-overwhelming fear, he teamed up with Mario and Luigi to hijack the ship the three of them were imprisoned on, successfully taking control of the newly-dubbed Starship Mario. It takes a while for Dal to actually warm up to the Bros., but regularly talking about their respective families helps him avoid cracking from under the stress and homesickness.

After rescuing Bowser Jr., Dal becomes the turtle kid's primary caretaker, along with some of the younger Koopalings once they too are found. Before meeting Iggy and subsequently getting a translator built, Dal taught Junior how to speak bits and pieces of English, and can understand his words better than Mario or Luigi. Think of it like "babysitter learning a kid's speech patterns while other people still hear gibberish."

Viridi

Dal's loyal companion and fuzzy baby child. He was abducted alongside his owner and stayed as close to Dal as possible during both their confinement and eventual starship takeover. 'Distraction' was the name of this dog's game, barking at their captors with varying degrees of success during the fight. Hard to tell if they'd never heard a dog bark before or they were actually scared by it, but they got an old-fashioned Mario Bros. Beatdown regardless.

Compared to all the other "crewmembers," Viridi's the most calm, even excited about what awaits them on their new journey. He likes the odd scaly child; those claws give the greatest scritches he's ever gotten in his life (sorry Dally). Of course, being excited and curious isn't always a good thing, as Viridi's go-to method of following his nose can lead to trouble. Of all the times to lose the leash, it had to be during a space adventure... =_="

Magic School Bus/Wild Kratts crossover masterpost

Basically, @daiohficblog and I have been coming up with lots of headcanons that cross over the shows.

WARNING: This post is by no means organized.

How does everyone know each other?

First of all, Ms. Frizzle knows everyone. So of course she would know the Kratt brothers and the rest of the WK team (Aviva, Koki, and Jimmy).

The MSB kids are introduced to the Wild Kratts team during a whale-watching trip off the New England coast.

Phoebe's uncle, Dr. Cecil Byrd, is a traveling ornithologist from Australia and often bumps into the WK team.

Creature powers:

The kids all have their own creature power suits (which Aviva made them for Christmas one year).

Color schemes:

Phoebe: Red

D.A.: Violet (different from purple!!!)

Carlos: Dark blue

Tim: Cerulean

Ralphie: Green

Arnold: Yellow

Wanda: Pink

Keesha: Fuchsia/Magenta

Other hc's

Carlos and Mikey's sibling dynamic parallels Martin and Chris's dynamic. You have the older sibling who likes to goof off and the younger bro with slightly more brain cells.

First creature power the kids used:

Carlos and DA: Peregrine falcon

Ralphie, Arnold, and Phoebe: Red fox

Tim: Pine marten

Keesha: Rattlesnake

Wanda: Bullfrog

Family/pets/whatnot.

Phoebe and Ralphie are step-siblings in this universe. They also have the most pets:

Brandy (a grumpy old tortoiseshell cat). Dr. Tennelli (Ralphie's mom) adopted her before Ralphie was born. Former stray.

Joxter, a black-and-white tomcat. Brandy's son. Adventurous, but also lazy (rather like his namesake from the Moomin books). Good swimmer.

Renee and Megan: Two red foxes, rescued from a fur farm. Renee has the "normal" reddish-orange coat, and Megan is leucistic.

Jeanette: An old border collie (female). Another rescue.

Loretta: A black-and-white Newfoundland dog. 6 years old.

Charlie: a piebald ball python. (Not sure whether Charlie should be a boy or a girl.)

Fang: a male red-kneed tarantula belonging to Ralphie.

HC's continued (not in any particular order)

Carlos is very arachnophobic-- so he tries to avoid spiders at all costs. However, most other "scary" animals (sharks, crocodilians, snakes, bats, etc...) don't frighten him.

Martin and Chris have become somewhat of "elder sibling figures" for the kids.

Wanda is the water-lover of the MSB gang. She brings her snorkeling/scuba gear WHEREVER she goes.

Phoebe and Ralphie (AKA the Terese-Tennelli siblings) like to visit Ralphie's uncle Brian at the lake to go fishing. It's the same lake where the "Bass Class" fishing contest took place.

Uncle Brian (Dr. Tennelli's younger brother) is an expert fisherman.

In the fishing contest before the events of "Bass Class," Brian won first place in the local fishing contest, and Gavin came in third. Fortunately, Brian is a lot nicer about winning and losing than a certain cheater named Zach.

The WK kids of Frogwater Pond (Gavin, Ronan, Jenny, Katie, Aidan, and Nolan) are in this AU, and they know the MSB kids. (Since they know Phoebe and Ralphie, who come to their forest every summer).

Carlos has two younger siblings: Mikey (one year younger) and Maria (three years younger).

Mikey is a computer/tech prodigy, and as such, often helps Aviva with her inventions. He also makes his own inventions (for which Carlos is usually the test subject). He uses a wheelchair to get around.

Maria is the math expert of her siblings. She is also deaf and uses American Sign Language (ASL) to communicate.

Mikey might not be able to walk, but he's good at a lot of things: fishing, kayaking/canoeing, playing the piano, and more.

Phoebe and Carlos (the most avid birdwatchers of the MSB gang) have developed a "secret language" composed entirely of birdcalls. One key part of this language is that anyone using it has a birdcall that stands in for their name.

For instance, Phoebe's bird name is the eastern phoebe's song, while Carlos uses the northern cardinal's song for his name.

They also teach the birdcall language to Martin and Chris, who use the calls of the purple martin and pileated woodpecker, respectively. It does not go well.

Phoebe might seem harmless, but she isn't. She's been taking karate classes since she was little, and if you hurt any animals around her, RUN. In fact, she's rather like her avian namesake: small and unassuming, but a fighter through and through.

Wanda is even more of a fighter-- leading to the bird nerds in both crews comparing her to a kingbird.

The Ice Cream Run is a time-honored tradition of both the MSB gang and the Wild Kratts team. Some details:

The best Ice Cream Runs are at night. Everyone get in the car/bus/Tortuga and head for the ice cream store.

You do not want to interrupt the Ice Cream Run. Under ANY circumstances. (The WK villains learned this the hard way.)

Phoebe and Martin bond over the fact that they share their names with birds. (The eastern phoebe and purple martin, respectively.

Any time either of them sees one of those birds, they'll send each other a picture of said bird with the caption "this you?"

Wanda can pilot the Cheetah Racer and the Amphisub and the Buzz Bikes. She is not allowed in the Tortuga's cockpit.

Carlos can pilot most of the underwater vehicles (the Amphisub and the Manta sleds), but he always crashes the hoverbikes.

Mikey usually helps Koki with system maintenance of the Tortuga. (At least in the early days, when he's still learning how to make computer programs without any bugs.)

How each of the kids handles being captured by any of the WK villains:

Arnold: Carlos shows up and frees him. (The two of them are rock bros, and rock bros always have each others' backs.)

Carlos: Annoying them with horrible puns and messing with their tech.

DA: Smacks the villains with her books.

Keesha: Also resorts to punching.

Phoebe: Fury of the bird she's named after.

Ralphie: Smacks the villains with his baseball bat.

Tim: Escape artist.

Wanda: Crowbar to the face. (Nobody knows where she got the crowbar.)

Wanda has only been captured once. After that time, none of the villains dare to capture her again.

Pretty much all the MSB kids (Arnold included) will resort to violence or trickery if they're captured.

Carlos might be the goofball of the MSB gang, but he can switch into serious mode very quickly-- especially when one of his younger siblings or friends is in danger.

MSB kids from oldest to youngest: Carlos, D.A., Wanda, Tim, Keesha, Arnold, Ralphie, and Phoebe.

There is a 6-month age gap between Carlos (born in October) and Phoebe (born in April).

By contrast, the shortest age gap is between D.A. and Wanda, who were born one week apart in November.

Carlos's favorite creature power to use is peregrine falcon power-- to the point where he always keeps a falcon feather with him.

Tim is the climbing expert of the MSB gang. Wanda is the swimming expert.

Tim is also the only person in the "I Injured Myself Falling Out of a Tree" club (which comprises himself, Phoebe, Wanda, Carlos, and Chris) who has never broken a bone.

Every now and then, Carlos (dinosaur nerd) will contact the Tortuga to tell them he's seen a dinosaur. They know full well that he means birds.

Wanda rescues her pet bullfrog Bella from a shady pet store while Bella is still a tadpole.

As in the "Hopes Home" MSB episode, Bella escapes and goes off to live in the wild. However, Wanda can't help but worry about her.

HC that Bella escaped to Frogwater Pond, and the kids there keep an eye on her.

The "Gets Swamped" episode of MSB is also canon to this AU. After the events of that episode, the swamp Carlos helped save is made a nature preserve in his honor.

Carlos and Wanda are practically adopted twins, and they share a brain cell.

Wanda technically has two brothers, but she doesn't get along with them very well. She argues a lot with her older brother Henry (they both get on each others' nerves), and there isn't a lot she can do with her younger brother William.

Martin and Chris have substitute-taught Ms. Frizzle's class a few times. It ends up being just as chaotic (if not more so) than the days when the Friz is there.

remember when I mentioned a Pikmin ieytd AU?

...I did it :D

Basically, it's just pikmin 4 with the ieytd cast; Phoenix & Juniper as rescue corps recruits, Handler is the comms operator and works with all the rescue pups, Dr.Prism is the one who makes all the gadgets, and Ashley is the team's doctor and sends recruits on night expeditions.

Phoenix is the main explorer and typically is the one who fights, mainly having red, rock, and purple pikmin! he has a orange rescue pup named Reggie... for no reason whatsoever.

Meanwhile, Juniper's the one who collects materials and treasures, his Pikmin are white, blue, and winged, although his favorite is glow Pikmin! he doesn't have a rescue pup, so he normally just 'carpools' with Phoenix.

i might try coming up with more for this AU, and i might try drawing some stuff too :]

Jimmy was... afraid of being trapped within the timeloop. Afraid of being alone, afraid of being forgotten, and afraid of what would happen if the loop didn't get fixed.

In his fear, the canary hybrid sought out anyone that would listen to him. Anyone that could still see him despite his ghostly, looping state.

Jimmy wound up finding someone that would here him out: Skizzleman.

The angel/bird hybrid was confused at first, but he really did want to help Jimmy out. Jimmy tried to explain what was happening, but the crash of lightning and Martyn's deranged laughter cut through their chat.

In that moment, Jimmy acted upon instinct alone. He grabbed Skizz by his hand as the world went grey. Skizz eventually woke up back at Team B.E.S.T's base. And once he returned to his ghostly state, He and Jimmy eventually found a ghostly Joel.

And now, when the world stops and eventually begins to go back, Joel and Skizz find themselves falling through a plane of purple. However, as the world around them shifts and changes as they fall, there's something that always the same:

In the distance, a clocktower with two familiar figures falling as well.

(My ramblings below the cut)

So, with Hermitcraft 10 revealing Joel and Skizz being new hermits, my work on Frozen Over being a bit halted (Drawing and writing are both hard), and my continuous enjoyment of Timeloop AUs coming back, I've figured that I should talk briefly talk about Joel and Skizz's involvement within Limited Loop AU.

Both lifers are brought into the loop by Jimmy (By force/accident and/or by willingness). But once aware of the loop, they both are willing to help Jimmy (and even Martyn) fix the loop and rescue everyone.

Little things about each of them:

Skizz:

Skizz doesn't quite understand what caused the loop. But, he does know that Jimmy needs a shoulder to cry on and a hug.

Skizz is in charge of getting the rest of B.E.S.T to help Jimmy once they're ghosts (and even when they're alive)

He's also in charge of morale.

When a ghost, Skizz constantly emits a blue glow.

Joel:

Joel wasn't found in the best state before he joins the loop. His anger boils over quite easily (his eyes turn fully red and his body crackles with electricity).

However, despite this, once he's able to breathe, he's fully willing to help Jimmy fix the loop.

Joel's job is primarily recon. He constantly keeps watch of the other lifers and tries to help Martyn find what he needs to fix the loop.

When a ghost, Joel constantly emits a green glow.

Both:

Joel and Skizz both have the ability to bring others into the loop, like Jimmy. It's significantly weaker though.

Like Martyn and Jimmy, the two hybrids have hourglass shaped pupils (it doesn't affect their vision and it only seems to affect one eye)

Drawing wise I tried to keep to their Limited Life skins to the best of my ability. But, to be honest, I didn't want to draw Skizz in a speedo (That's why he's in heart boxers).

How to fix the Bad Batch Season 2 Finale...

You know what fic I'd love to see (if and when AO3 comes back up? Is Wattpad still used? I use it.)

I want an AU where Tech is rescued from his fall - not by his squad, not by other clones, not by a random parachute - but by a collective army of his many OC partners and lovers from different universes...the vast majority who seem to be scientists, engineers, and fighters.

All of whom, teamed up, would be PERFECT for saving him.

Juno! Glitch! Sjael! Ash! That hot Jedi with the purple hair! Others I don't know about!

I want to see these brilliant folks hear about this horrible thing happening, rip through time and space, save Tech, bust through Mt. Tantiss, grab the other clones from Space Unit 731, make Jimmy-the-Scientist do jumping jacks at gun point before they yeet his ass into a fire, and happily drop them all off on Pabu into the lap of a VERY confused Phee.

Then promptly go back to their own universes and tell their Tech about the experience that they had.

His only response would be 'You ripped through multiple dimensions, teamed up with my many other partners, and saved a version of me and then committed arson? Fascinating!' and then go back to fixing something.

What My Personal Reverse AU Would Look Like:

Pt. 2

Human Blurr

Name: Blair

Race: Latino

Appearance: He has hazel eyes and dyed short purple hair (natural brunette).

Sexuality: Questioning

Age: 19

He has undiagnosed ADHD. He has a bad relationship with his family. Not that they were awful to him, but he definitely wouldn’t want to move back in with them. He moved to Griffin Rock because Sal was and he’s the only one that puts up with him he totally needed a change of pace! A new scene! Yeah…

How He reacts to people flirting with him: Genuine surprise. He plays it off nonchalantly and maybe gets his hopes too high. Will defiantly brag about it to others.

What he drinks in the morning: Energy drink! Red bull, monster, bang, rockstar, doesn’t matter as long as it’s an energy drink.

Human Salvage

Name: Saladin (He just goes by Sal though)

Race: White (Arab heritage)

Appearance: He has blue eyes and short fluffy dirty blond hair.

Sexuality: Omnisexual

Age: 19 (Older than Blair by a couple months)

He is autistic. He was originally going to go to college to major in environmental science, but dropped out when he got the opportunity to live at Griffin Rock and work with the doc and engineers there. What’s better than firsthand experience?

How he reacts to people flirting with him: He is very bashful! If he doesn’t reciprocate the feeling, he’ll politely explain he hopes they can still be good friends. If he does like them or doesn’t know if he may like them, he may take their playful flirting a bit too seriously and consider asking them on a date, just to see if there’s a spark. You never know if you don’t try! And he’s always willing to try something at least once.

What he drinks in the morning: It changes almost daily. Sometimes it’s water, sometimes its tea, sometimes juice or milk. He doesn’t really stick to one specific drink.

Blair and Sal met in high school and have been paling around ever since. Sal likes how Blair gets them into new scenarios he would’ve never thought of before and Blair appreciates Sal’s patience, even if he’s never told him that out loud.

Human Quickshadow

Name: She’s gone by many different names on many different missions for many different reasons. Let’s keep this simple, shall we? Just call her Quin.

Race: Mixed. Half white, half latina.

Appearance: She has blue eyes and a little shorter than shoulder length black hair.

Sexuality: Demiromantic + Demisexual

Age: 24

She is rather secretive but a trusted friend of the rescue team. Getting information out of her about herself is difficult because she always wants to know why you want that information about her and isn’t satisfied with the ‘getting to know you’ answer.

How she reacts to people flirting with her: Frankly, she’s annoyed. She has better things to do with her time.

What she drinks in the morning: Sometimes tea, sometimes nothing. She’s a very busy woman, you know.

Human High Tide

Name: Highins Tide (But call him Captain Tide)

Race: Hispanic

Appearance: His short hair has turned salt and pepper, he has a scratchy looking shadow of a beard but he shaves before it grows out. He has green eyes.

Sexuality: Gay

Age: 52

He’s loud and opinionated but has a good heart where it matters. He came to the waters of Griffin Rock on a visit, but decided to stay as it was much more entertaining there than it was back home. He loves the excitement and action! He has a beagle/jack russell terrier mix named Servo that gets into everything and the rescue team petsits frequently. Servo is trained, but listens to High Tide the best and to Code the second best.

How he reacts to people flirting with him: He’s very likely to laugh in your face but might thank you for flattering him. On the occasion, he may flirt back.

What he drinks in the morning: Coffee, black.

There has to be a balance, however! If these four are humans, then 4 characters that are human in the show now have to be bots.

Hayley —> Hailstorm. Vehicle form: Ambulance.

Priscilla —> Patchwork. Vehicle form: Delivery Van.

Milo —> Metro. Vehicle form: Blimp. (Milo canonically has an air balloon but this makes more sense for a transformation)

Frankie —> Phasewave. Vehicle form: All-Terrain Jeep.

Hailstorm and Patchwork take place of Salvage and Blurr with the whole being found in a spaceship and helping the cave people thing.

Kascade has complicated feelings about Hailstorm. Hailstorm pretends not to notice but is quietly flattered.

Patchwork and Phasewave are sparklings like Code. Patchwork and Code struggle to get along whereas Code and Phasewave get along like a forest fire.

Metro takes place of High Tide, but instead of being a sailor he is just an ‘Agent Of Chaos’ (but not actually an agent). He’s kind of a wildcard and ‘prepares’ the bots to expect the unexpected.

Which means Phasewave takes place of Quickshadow. She is not an agent, but has a bad habit of thinking she can cover more than she really should on her own.

Immortal Cannon Fodder masterlist

Phoenix, an immortal hero, joins a team that hurts them and uses them as cannon fodder. But their teammates are only doing what's necessary to help them all survive. Phoenix's regular sacrifices are necessary. And it's not like they've got anywhere else to go anyway.

You sighed as the supernatural warmth from Ingo's body soaked into you on the awfully chilly night. He was always so pleasant to touch; a burning flame quite literally in him. Emmet coiled around himself in the pool of water near your shared bed with the Chandelure hybrid. Judging by the faint scraps of light peering just through the treeline, you could tell it was early morning. A purple gloom covered the room still, courtesy of Ingo's flames. You yawned and buried your face deeper into his chest.

It had been over a year since you first arrived in this strange world where humans were extinct, and hybrids essentially had taken over in their place. Society hadn't advanced as it had in your world, as hybrids seemed to rely more on their innate abilities of technological advancements. You had joined a rescue team at first with little direction as to how to exist in this new world, but it soon was deemed too dangerous.

Turning to the transportation twins, they were more than happy to let you live with them. You were shown around the land carefully by the two. If anything tried to attack you, they were quick to chase them off with ease. Emmet was an apex predator even on land, while Ingo was vicious and terrifying with fire and ghost attacks. You soon discovered ancient ruins, to which they allowed to look around while sticking to your side tightly.

They proved to be extremely loving and caring, but perhaps a tad overbearing and worrisome. Ingo spent time with you when he was free of his transport duties, cooking you delicious meals from the use of his ghostly flames. Emmet often did the hunting for said foods, proud of his talents and ability to feed his family. They provided a safe, stable home in the strange chaos of your new world.

Dating them was pleasant, aside from the strange title of 'mate', but that seemed common in this world. Marriage wasn't really a thing, so much as just simply moving in with one another and calling yourselves mates. The title must hold weight when used. You sighed as you watched them rest. Ingo's arms held you close to him, and his breaths relaxing you. There was nothing more comforting than mornings like this.

Soon, Ingo would wake up and give a soft smile at you before calling to wake up Emmet, who would hop out of his pool. Your poor sleep clothes would be soaked from his water and slime while he pressed kisses to your cheeks. The older twin would sigh, and the younger would giggle. You would all get ready for the day, them leaving for their rail cart and you either joining them or staying behind.

This was never to come to fruition again.

Not after what you had read in one of the ruins.

A reminder to why you were sent here; a duty that called for you to fulfil it.

You crept from the bed and got your old adventuring bag. It hurt, but you must go. The entire world was in danger, and you agreed to save it. One last glance was spared to the sleeping hybrids. Ingo felt the empty space in his bed distressingly while Emmet still slept peacefully. A silent farewell was bid, before you left again.

If all went well, they would never see you again, as your duty would be complete.

Ingo woke up in a panic. His hand grasped the empty sheets behind him as his flames flickered from the strong emotion. He cried your name loudly, eyes scanning the room. Emmet jumped awake from the volume of his voice. Ingo rushed from his bed to search their home for you, but you were nowhere to be found. “Sh-she's gone, Emmet!” he turned to his brother in panic. The Eelektross hybrid gazed around, sniffing the air. To his distress, your scent led him to your pack and out the door.

They followed until they reached one of their rail cars, now gone from the depot. The twins turned to each other in terror. You used one of their cars. Why? Emmet felt himself tearing up and hiccuping, leaning into Ingo for support. Ingo caught him with a terrifyingly cold feeling in his limbs.

You were all alone in this dangerous world without any protection. They had failed to keep their mate safe.

A nearby Togekiss hybrid watched the brothers with amusement.

Introductory post!

Current MPC guest: the pokemon at the MPC

Hello random blogger on Rotomblr! Welcome to the MPC’s unofficial account!

The MPC (Multiversal Pokemon Center) is a center located in Multispace (the space located in-between the universes in the multiverse) that specialises in rescuing pokemon (and sometimes other creatures!) that either get stuck in Multispace, or in universes that aren’t their own. We also perform research on the multiverse, to develop better ways to help our rescues.

If you have any questions about our center, feel free to type them in our ask box. We could get way more technical on the logistics of this, but would like to refrain on doing so in the introduction post.

Please note that this is by all means NOT an official MPC account. It is a personal account where we post about pretty much anything that happens in our lives.

There are a couple of users on this account. I’m Kalani! The one typing this introduction post. I’m the main account owner of this blog, and would mainly communicate here through the default text colour. I’m 17, go by any pronouns, and am currently a helper at the MPC with the task of doing random odd jobs around the center. I’m also a persona user! My persona is Janus.

I’ll type up a second, more detailed introductory post for you guys to read and link it here soon, because this post would get way too long if we all introduce ourselves in full.

Hi hi! Asif here! The mysterious camera leaked my identity so I’ve decided that I might as well introduce myself. I use the dark blue/purple text to communicate here! My age is a secret though I will admit to being the youngest in the shadow team, and I go by he/him. My job at the MPC is to do stock take on the items here. I currently do not have a persona, but I’ve aura ability of some caliber!

Hello, my name is Minato. I go by he/him and use the blue/light blue text up here. My persona is Orpheus, and my Pokémon team consists of a very gentle pelipper named Borb.

Mysterious Camera: Hi there! Kalani here! I’m writing this part of the post for the camera because there’s no telling when they’re on or whether they would introduce themself. The mysterious camera appears to mainly use green text for his? her? their? posts. No one knows who the mysterious camera is, or their pronouns. They don’t say much, and really just occasionally post recorded videos/photos of us up here. It’s honestly kind of creepy, but we can’t do anything about it right now. We can’t even delete the videos, so they’re kind of just stuck up here.

Guests: guests up on Rotomblr would use the orange text. Check the tags to see who’s talking! Guests can respond to inbox asks/mail/magic anons like everyone else while they’re on the account.

Kalani, Irene and Asif are OCs! Minato is from Persona 3. As for the mysterious camera… well… I’ll let you guys guess that one.

I should also mention that this blog is solidly in the AU category. (Though I believe that is pretty obvious by now). Some persona rules here work differently from that of the main games. New moves and typings are also a thing on this blog. Please do not bash for “being inaccurate to canon”.

I’m open to interactions of all kinds! Including ideas for pokemon variants and other creatures/OCs for the MPC team to meet and more.

That being said not all interactions in the ask box will be answered. I can choose not to answer some of them if I do not know how to/ feel uncomfortable doing so. Sometimes, I may also forget to answer an ask. You can send as many asks as you want! But please try not to spam the ask box too much.
