A different Dalwig fight, where despite the two halves regularly being at odds, they've reached their own little equilibrium: defeating a shared foe! With Dalex's stamina and Ludwig's magic skill, this Dalwig is sure to come out on top, no matter how long it takes them!

Think you're in trouble? The best way to get out of it is to find a way to make them bicker; despite their appearance implying otherwise, this hybrid is actually a bit unstable, with Dal's aversion to causing major injury being at war with Lud's inherent desire to go all out. Once they start an argument, Dalwig falls apart, giving you a chance to either turn the tables or make a run for it.

Dunno how far you'll get, especially if an angry Ludwig starts chasing after you, but it's worth a shot. =w="

Vs. Shrooblex

Ludwig didn't want to believe it. Not after everything else had gone so horribly wrong.

Peach's Castle was taken. Father was taken. The minions were taken.

Kamek and Kammy were missing. Boom Boom and Pom Pom were missing.

The Koopalings were being taken, one by one. The only ones left were Junior, Wendy, and himself.

He didn't know where Mario and Luigi were. He was afraid to find out if they were taken, too. And he never really liked them to begin with.

He wished that it was all just a bad dream. He wished he hadn't looked up when he heard that low, threatening hiss.

He wished that the one minion he held dear wasn't perched above the three of them, ready to pounce. That his friend wasn't drooling an eerie green substance that seemed to melt whatever it touched. That those purple scales he adored weren't a sickly hue from head to toe, just like them.

That his beloved wasn't glaring at all of them with the intent to take them too, or worse.

He used to hope and pray that Rathmore had escaped. The Poison Koopa in question had made the choice to distract those things so Junior himself could get away, and Rathmore hadn't been seen since. Until now, that is.

And just like everyone else that had been taken, reasoning wouldn't work anymore. The only thing they understood was destruction and conquest.

Wendy and Junior were both frozen in fear. He knew Wendy would snap out of it in a moment, but it could be a moment too late. He had to act.

Ignoring the tears in his eyes, Ludwig readied his wand.

It was showtime.

Another Partners in Time thing, with a dash of alien zombie dread! Unlike Real Worlder!Dal who got more of a fighting chance, Koopa!Dal's fate in this game is… a bit more grim.

After noticing the strength of Bowser's forces, Princess Shroob opts to do what she does best, and take every single minion she can get her claws on. From Goombas to Shy Guys to Koopa Troopas, to even Bowser himself, though that's mostly me trying to throw an actual Shrowser into this hypothetical =3=

While trying to escape the Shroobs, the Koopalings are split up, and Junior ends up with Dalex. Neither of them have their paintbrushes so they can't just warp away, and Junior's clown car was smashed during the initial invasion. The only thing Dal could think of was to act as bait while Junior made a run for it. And while the plan worked for Junior, it certainly didn't work for Dally…

It's time for the boss fight, and Shrooblex isn't gonna hold back!

A Lamb's first fleece is very special indeed. Made from either their own wool or the wool of their family, the first fleece is the start of a lamb's personal journey. Wherever life takes them, the fleece will protect them, be it scorching sun or chilling rain.

The fleece can even provide a sense of comfort, its wearer feeling the love of their herd in each stitch. Not even death can remove that feeling.

It is said that there are fleeces out there that provide much more, from making the wearer stronger to even healing them. The First Fleece of the Liberator had no such power; it was merely a gift from their loving siblings. A sign of welcoming into a new herd, one that was accepted without a moment's hesitation.

This First Fleece was sadly lost after the Bishops hunted the Liberator down. But even now, it remains in the Liberator's memories, fueling their desire to avenge and eventually revive their fallen siblings.

Does Koopa!Dalex like pineapple pizza?

When it comes to pizza, Dal's tastes are as simple as can be: Plain cheese.

He sees no reason to add any toppings to his pizza; at most he'll order double cheese. If there are toppings (yes this includes pineapple), he'll politely decline the slice, or just eat the crusts if you don't want them. Just peel the crust off before you actually start eating your slice, please and thank you in advance.

The exception is pepperoni, since he can just pluck those off and give them to whoever wants them. He actually used to eat pepperoni without issue, but grew to just... not prefer it.

Not even he's sure why that happened. Sometimes, tastes just change.

Said it in the tags and I'll say it again: Iggy has no shame. No limits. Not with pizza, not with any foods.

Especially when a perfectly good taste tester is not too far away...~

In the ancient past, Dalex's role was that of a "Warden."

Basically a mesh between babysitter and teacher, Wardens took care of children while their parents were busy, watching over them and helping them learn the ways of the world below. How to safely navigate their mazelike home, how to sense vibrations in the floor and walls, methods for faster digging, what was safe to eat and what wasn't, the list goes on. A single Warden usually cared for 2-3 puggles at a time, though they'd usually just group up with other Wardens to lighten the load, especially if some of said puggles were more rambunctious.

Part of what made Dal a good Warden was that, while on duty, his focus was on the kids and little to nothing else. Didn't matter what was going on around him, if it didn't affect the kids, it didn't affect him.

Even if turning around might've let him catch a longing gaze or two...

Wanted to take a stab at giving Dal some more interesting clothing choices, because I friggin' can, and getting a certain virus wasn't gonna stop me!

...Okay, it did stop me; t'was why I've been radio silent for what feels like an eternity. Anyone else experience dizziness after the worst part of the disease-that-shall-not-be-named was over? "Team Dal" seems kinda basic, "Team DTZ" just makes me think "Team Ditz," and... yeah, that's all I got; the latter just kept making me giggle and I couldn't come up with anything else =w="

Space Orcs AU yet again, because I wanted to tweak Dal a little bit, wanted to draw his dog again, and draw B-Junes again, all in one go owo)b

Anyway more tidbits under a readmore, here we go!

Bowser Junior

During an experiment that Iggy and Ludwig were performing in hopes of improving the travel speeds of their spaceships, an accident caused all eight members of the Royal Brood to be pulled into multiple wormholes and scattered across the cosmos. Junior ended up on a planet filled with Dino Piranhas, and struggled to survive until a trio of strange, squishy creatures found and seemingly adopted him.

While Junior tried keeping his distance out of fear that these squishy folk were actually kidnappers, it didn't take long for his curiosity and need for comfort to overpower any of his fears. He bonded fastest with the purple-maned one; often riding piggyback around the ship or curling up next to him and his fuzzy friend when it's time to sleep. He turns out to be a quick learner when it comes to their languages, easily figuring out short sentences in English and, by courtesy of the red-clad one, several curse words in Italian.

Dalex

A fifteen-year-old human who was snatched in the dead of night while taking his dog out for a late-night bathroom break. Despite his near-overwhelming fear, he teamed up with Mario and Luigi to hijack the ship the three of them were imprisoned on, successfully taking control of the newly-dubbed Starship Mario. It takes a while for Dal to actually warm up to the Bros., but regularly talking about their respective families helps him avoid cracking from under the stress and homesickness.

After rescuing Bowser Jr., Dal becomes the turtle kid's primary caretaker, along with some of the younger Koopalings once they too are found. Before meeting Iggy and subsequently getting a translator built, Dal taught Junior how to speak bits and pieces of English, and can understand his words better than Mario or Luigi. Think of it like "babysitter learning a kid's speech patterns while other people still hear gibberish."

Viridi

Dal's loyal companion and fuzzy baby child. He was abducted alongside his owner and stayed as close to Dal as possible during both their confinement and eventual starship takeover. 'Distraction' was the name of this dog's game, barking at their captors with varying degrees of success during the fight. Hard to tell if they'd never heard a dog bark before or they were actually scared by it, but they got an old-fashioned Mario Bros. Beatdown regardless.

Compared to all the other "crewmembers," Viridi's the most calm, even excited about what awaits them on their new journey. He likes the odd scaly child; those claws give the greatest scritches he's ever gotten in his life (sorry Dally). Of course, being excited and curious isn't always a good thing, as Viridi's go-to method of following his nose can lead to trouble. Of all the times to lose the leash, it had to be during a space adventure... =_="
