After the extinction of cats and dogs in 1982, humans started using apes as pets. By 1991 they had become a major source of slave labor. Caesar, the intelligent ape son of survivors of the Planet of the Apes who had fallen backwards in time, witnesses the mistreatment of his fellow apes. When Caesar learns of the death of the only human he really cared for (who was being forced to tell about Caesar by a machine called the Authenticator and killed himself before he completely revealed everything about Caesar) he lead an ape uprising against the human oppressors. Post-AGT Appearance 1292: Up Front WNRI 1380 am March 13

Some people would be a little unhappy that I violated protocol by revealing that Brian Mulroney was not the last name on Phillip's list with that interview. My agent would have selectively distributed highlights of that interview to increase my international fame. With the essential contracts completed I would have gone home to Nevada for the dry air.

Man of my Dreams would have been 24th the last 3 weeks. Toad woman of Tennessee would have reached $235 million last weekend. My wife would have won the Oscar for costume design but not quoted me. She would have found out what an EGOT is and came home thinking we were halfway there. I would have to explain that I won the Grammy and she won the Oscar so each of us was one fourth of the way there.

Haley really did win Washington D.C. and Vermont. She would also have won Massachusetts last week. Burgum would have won Oklahoma, Colorado, Utah and Alaska, however Trump would have won all 4 primaries on March 12, Washington state closest: 42-35 over Burgum. Biden would have won everywhere except Hawaii, where None of the Above would have won 56-40.

Ron St. Pierre was a talk radio host in Rhode Island for decades. Few people know that, but people in Rhode Island would have suspected he might be the last name on Phillip's list. When they learned of his death Tuesday afternoon some would ask my relatives in the area and my uncle's widow would have called me. I would have prepared a statement and called my agent. We would have released it everywhere Wednesday morning at 8 am. The first to quote me would be Roger Bouchard on the Up Front program that runs 8 to 9 am Wednesday on WNRI am 1380 in Woonsocket. He would start the program with it.

Bouchard: Before we get to today's guests we have breaking news. Many of you know that Rhode Island legendary talk show host Ron St. Pierre passed away yesterday at age 68. Well, just now off the wire entertainer Phil Cole, whose career began when he was living right here in Woonsocket, made the following statement. I quote:

PBC: Ron St. Pierre was not the last name on Phillip's sick list, but no one who bet that he was should lose money. It was one of the best guesses ever. When Phillip was trying to revive his radio career he contacted Ron St. Pierre and lost to the criminal Buddy Cianci. It's been all downhill for Rhode Island ever since.

Birds are so full of life, with their wings in flight and their lovely song. There are few things in nature more sad than to come upon a dead bird. It's little wonder that the bird hat craze of the 19th century caused a battle of conscience among the more enlightened members of polite society.

The bird hat fashion craze of the 19th century was not content with feathers only. Sometimes, as pictured above, the entire bird was used as decoration. Waste not, want not.

The demand for feathers and birds was so great that many birds were hunted for their beautiful plumage alone. Because of this excess, certain bird populations began to decline. In the northeastern United States, the hunt for feathers resulted in the sharp decline of shorebirds such as terns and herons during the decade of 1880-1890.

This cruel and ecologically dangerous practice for the sake of fashion did not sit well with some. In Rhode Island, U.S.A. a group of concerned citizens began a movement against such hunting practices which resulted in the formation of the first Audubon Society in 1897. Its member base grew rapidly and the practice of bird hunting to satisfy the marketplace fell out of fashion, so to speak. Legislation to preserve bird species and habitats continues to this day.

Rockstar gave us so few happy endings I'm not changing any of them. :sob:

Pearson ended up having a kid with his second wife Ethel. Despite hoping his son would one day take over the shop, growing up hearing his father's drunk stories of the navy inspired him to enlist the second the opportunity presented itself. Pearson was very relieved it was navy stories instead of Van Der Linde tales he shared, and passed away peacefully of old age still holding onto his gang days as cherished memories but thrilled to have had his little shop in Rhodes.

His modern era counterpart is his great grandson Sam Pearson, a biology major who's chemistry experiments fail as spectacularly as his forefather's stews. He has had the entire campus evacuated on multiple occasions for varying levels of toxic smoke. Built like an absolute gym-bro and a hell of a talented baker, he brings all the best snacks for study break. --

Tilly stayed in contact with Mary-Beth her entire life. Mr Pierre, despite being a big-shot lawyer with his grand house in Saint Denis, worshipped the ground his darling gorgeous capable-of-murder wife walked on. They had four healthy children together and never wanted for anything in life. She found comfort in being able to put all the love she had for the gang into her family and was every bit a mama bear who would in lady-like sophistication cuss out anyone who upset her gentle husband or babies.

Two of her descendants are in Isaac's little study group/gang: Mitsy and Theresa Pierre. Mitsy adores queer literature. They will be awake at 3am writing an essay about how their great grandmother Tilly Jackson was in an obscure gang with Leslie Dupont and they think one specific line in her dozens of novels was actually a romantic confession of love. Theresa (Rae) Pierre, however, has the exact same volatile charm of her great grandmother and would have been the weapon Dutch needed for world domination if she was born in canon era. She's the new gang's schemer who sets their targets and plans the break-ins to steal inflammatory documents in the name of human rights. Designs and 3D prints her own crime tools.

Notes:

1.) Characters are listed below the cut because there’s a ridiculous amount of them.

2.) This is going to be a 128 person showdown. Because of this there are going to be a few adjustments from how we normally do our polls. First- not all characters will have character descriptions, because we have neither the time or inclination to do so. There still will be character images along with image descriptions, but that’s about it. Second- because of how many polls this is, the first round will be released in waves of 16 polls per day over the span of 4 days. The other rounds will not be impacted. Btw, studying for an exam, and I'm reading "Appello al Turco" (Appeal to/Call for the Turk), a small essay on the open secret of european-ottoman diplomacy and alliances between the late 1400s and early 1500s at least, and it's a damn right hilarious book, besides being fascinating.

Of course, one part that is directly relevant for MC is how it relates to Süleyman being all indignant about Pierre Mehmed/Şehzade Murad's conversion to Christianity (already hilarious given Ibrahim), but more than that, being offended that the was held in Rhodes in the first place.

Y'know, given Pierre was in Rhodes due to Süleyman's grandpa paying the Pope to keep his (Pierre's) father Cem in Rome, where he ended up by fleeing Ottoman Hunger Games.

Also apparently he converted (also?) out of gratitude for Rhodes NOT giving him up to Selim I, which means that not converting would have been no assurance of anything either.

Gotta love people in MC that keep being upset at the results of hostage politics.

Cette « Déclaration Balfour » du 2 novembre 1917 proclame la reconnaissance, par le gouvernement britannique, de l'existence d'un foyer national Juif en Palestine, ce qui fut une étape décisive permettant de poser la première pierre conduisant à la création de l'État d'Israël en 1948.

Elle fut adressée à Lord Lionel Walter Rothschild.

Il est essentiel de rappeler que la « Déclaration Balfour » ne devrait pas afficher ce nom, car le véritable auteur de cette Déclaration ne fut pas Lord Arthur James Balfour, mais Alfred Milner.

Alfred Milner appartenait au groupe de Cecil Rhodes. Il était le bras droit au sein du Cabinet de Guerre, du Premier Ministre Lloyd George. Il était également membre de la Round Table, du RIIA (ou Chatham House) et de la Société Fabienne.

Lord Balfour ne fut qu'un « prête-nom ». La Déclaration aurait dû s'appeler la « Déclaration Milner ».

Et ceci a été prouvé par Caroll Quigley dans son livre "Histoire secrète de l'Oligarchie anglo-américaine" :

« La Palestine, cependant, occupait une position particulière parmi les mandats en raison de la déclaration Balfour de 1917, qui disposait que la Grande-Bretagne verrait favorablement établissement d'un foyer national pour les Juifs en Palestine. Cette déclaration, toujours connue sous le nom de déclaration Balfour, devrait plutôt s'appeler "Déclaration Milner", tant ce dernier en fut le concepteur réel et, apparemment, son soutien majeur dans le Cabinet de Guerre. Il fallut attendre le 21 juillet 1937 pour que ce fait soit rendu public.

À ce moment Ormsby-Gore, s'exprimant pour le gouvernement à la Chambre des Communes, déclara "Le projet initialement affiché par Lord Balfour n'était pas le projet final approuvé par le Cabinet de Guerre. Le projet exact auquel consentit le Cabinet de Guerre et par la suite les gouvernements alliés ainsi que les États-Unis (...) et en fin de compte incarné dans le mandat, fut élaboré par Lord Milner. Le projet final doit être publié au nom du ministre des Affaires étrangères, mais le véritable rédacteur fut Lord Milner. »
