Scared to death • nagi x reader
you and nagi are currently playing video games on roblox at his house. reo was there earlier but left because he had to go study for history or something. you weren’t really paying attention because then again you were playing on your phone. nagi loves playing video games together, you even convinced him to play royale high once. you and reo were never really into video games until you both met nagi. but now you and nagi have arcade dates, and even dates on random roblox servers while the two of you facetime. on this particular night you two happen to be playing something scary, since right before you guys were watching a scary movie. so why not continue the horror theme tonight?
ミ★ 1:54am - you both have school in the morning yet here you two are still going at it. nagi is so into the game that when a jumpscare comes on your usually calm and collected boyfriend screams out bloody murder. it snaps you back to reality and here you are about to piss your pants from laughing so hard. nagi just rolls his eyes and pouts saying “this is why you’re supposed to go first not me”. you laugh even more at how nagi is just a big baby. you can’t wait to tell reo later and both tease him about it in the morning. you both get back into the game and you are in front, per nagis request.
ミ★ 3:08am - you and nagi are still playing video games, but you’re terrified. so you finally tell him that you’ve had enough and you’re starting to feel a little tired. “sei im a little tired I think I might go home” nagi looks at you confused and hurt by your confession. “not at this time you’re not. you’re asking to get kidnapped.” you finally look at the time and that’s when you shriek. “It’s 3 in the morning?!” “yup” “and you knew?!” “yup” “we have school in a couple of hours” “yup”. you wanted to slap your boyfriend so hard until you heard a creek come from down the hall of nagis apartment. “sei I thought you lived alone” “I thought so too” gosh sometimes your boyfriend was too annoying. “maybe you should make sure just in case” “hmm no sounds like a hassle” you hear another noise come from the hallway, and that’s it you’re freaked tf out. You run to nagi who’s been laying on his bed and jump on him. he lets out a loud “oof” in response. “hey what was that for!?” “if I’m about to get murdered I want to at least die in your arms so we can stay together forever 😍🤞”. nagi looks at you annoyed, “I’m sure no one is here maybe that game is making you go mental. you know it’s clinically proven that cuddles can cure the insane”. now it’s your turn to look annoyed but that quickly goes away when you see a figure at the entrance of his doorway. you quickly put your head down under the covers and nagi looks at you confused until he sees what you just saw. “WHAT THE FUCK TAKE HER NOT ME” nagi pushes you closer to the intruder until the lights switch on.
Reo.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?” you both say in union. “what am I doing here? what are you doing here y/n? do your parents know you’re out here making babies past curfew?” you could pass out from how scared you were until you realize two things. nagi pushed you towards the murderer and your parents are definitely pissed. eh you’ll worry about the second part in the morning. you get off of nagi pissed that your boyfriend could do such a thing. and that’s when nagi asks “what are you doing here at 3 in the morning?” “oh. I wanted to cosplay middle class. I had a nightmare and wanted to experience it first hand”. that’s reo for you.
ミ★ 4:12 am - reos sleeping on the floor while you and nagi are on his bed. you’re still mad from earlier until nagi moves a piece of your hair from your face. “you’re cute when you’re scared.” “yea and you’re cuter when you’re not sacrificing your girlfriend.” nagi rolls his eyes and pulls you closer.

The bell rang throughout the school, signifying that school ended.
Grabbing your things and packing them in your bag and laughing with your friends as you walked out of the school was refreshing. Better then, sitting in that stuffy old classroom, Ms. Bitters claims are the best environment to learn in.
Opening the school door and walking outside to the cement ground. You sighed, getting your phone out, trying to call your dad. But, he never answered.
"God dammit." You mutter under your breath.
Your dad was probably drunk at home sleeping. Which means you had to walk home. That also means you had to walk the direction of the weird kids. Dib, and gaz.
Walking down the sidewalk, humming to yourself, thinking about random shit that popped up in your head. You looked up, smiling at the trees. Fall was taking over the plants. Everyone was decorating their house with halloween stuff. Pumpkins everywhere, jack-o-lanterns glowing from the candle illuminating the inside.
The peace wasn't that admired for very long when you heard a throat clear behind you. Which made you jump out of your skin. You looked behind you and saw the one and only Dib membrane.
"JESUS Dib! How long were you there for?!" You asked creeped out. He looked at you with a blank stare.
"Not for very long. I was just wondering why you were staring at the Halloween decorations at the houses." Dib said with a monotone voice. You stared at him with confusion.
"Because they're pretty?" You said bewildered. How could anyone not like halloween decorations?
"Oh, well. I was wondering if you wanted to walk together. I-if you want to." He said pink cheeks now forming under is ocular glasses.
"Um, why?" You asked. You guys barely talk. Plus, he was one of the weird kids, and if you were seen with him, it could ruin your reputation.
"You seem nice." He said calmly. His face was still cotton candy pink, but it was.....cute.
'Wait....WHAT?!' You thought to yourself. Why would you think he's cute? He's the son of Professor Membrane. Also, his weird cowlick haircut. His beautiful sparkly brown chocolate eyes.... and his beautiful pink face when he talks to you. Also, his monotone voice. Like he doesn't care about anythin-
'Stop.' You thought to yourself.
"Fine. Just dont be weird and talk about alien shit." You said with a pleading look in your eye.
"I won't." Dib said, walking up to you. Now by your side. He glanced to you ever now and then. You could tell this was awkward, so you decided to spark a conversation.
"So, where's your sister? Normally, i see she walks with you home?" You asked curiously.
"Oh, she's at school she had detention because she played her piggy slave game in class and got in trouble." He said with a hint of disappointment in his tone.
"Oh, so she got caught?" You said laughing a little.
"Yep." He answered.
After walking a little bit, you guys finally got to your destination
"Well, goodbye y/n." Dib said waving at you.
You looked up and waved.
"Goodbye Dib!" You said with a gentle smile splayed on your face.
And with that, you walk into your home awaiting the next day to see Dib.

i think i'm gonna save all the jaehyun talk for the end because there's a lot to unpack. FIRST OFF, haechan and jeno's additions to the story plssss i was obsessed. the scene where johnny and jaemin walk into the house greeted by dead silence because everyone's trying to figure who oc was getting absolutely plowed by HAD ME CRACKING UPPP. omg i loved how jaemin and oc's sex tape was brought up again and jaemin made jeno sit and watch followed by that little photoshoot moment. oc better than me, i would've jumped jeno so fast and made another tape. haechan stepping into the house and immediately calling oc a milf made me laugh as well like that part was very lee-haechan-coded. and hello??? the kitty thing with johnny and jungwoo really stirred something in me like WHAT IS PURRING... the mark and jaehyun THREESOME oh you were so bad for that, i loved every second of it. there's something very sexy about those two being competitive idk idk maybe it's just me. when haechan hinted at "celebrating" quarantine being lifted LMFAOOO our poor oc, she would not last during that.

Right I actually came across your account while browsing Seonghwa's tag, but one of my San biased friends said they had read one of your San fics before. Maybe I should let them know you have a new one!
I think this is quite common, people who are friends mistake friendships for romantic feelings or lust gets in the way and things become complicated. I'm glad Y/N and HJ realized it early on. Neither of them was a bad person, they just had an idealized vision of one another like you said, so no surprise it didn't work out. I think they were both too similar and too different if that makes sense.
I see, the grip fuck/bad boys have on many writers is very strong 😀 I don't mind this trope if they're not just a walking red flag from the beginning to the end and Y/Ns know how to stand their ground. ETL can be very very good, that's why I gravitated towards Blacklist after all. In the end, it doesn't matter how you start, but how you finish. So Blacklist turned out nice in my opinion.
