Elvbin
The world of Jadeclyff is populated by incredible people, from the variety of races spread out across the relatively small continent to powerful magic users more than happy to develop workarounds to even the most stubborn biological limitations.
This has, of course, resulted in a much more accepting society towards mixed-race individuals, as well as the appearance of more combinations than one could count. As such, it is not uncommon to see those with mixed heritage beyond the more-common half-elven or half-orcish folk, but oftentimes it is a struggle to understand what exactly is going on with someone’s biology after a couple of generations.
As such, below is an example of an entire mixed-heritage race, the Elvbin.
“Of all the mixed-race individuals one may encounter in the worlds, elvbins are some of the rarest and most interesting. Elves rarely reproduce even among their own kind, and few elves accept goblins in their societies, much less seek to form relationships with them. Unfortunately for any offspring that are produced, however, they will find that they do not fit in anywhere– even among other half-races.“
—Grumbel, A Guide to Interspecies Reproductions
Half-elves rarely have a goblin parent, as goblins and elves aren’t extremely compatible, either culturally or biologically. And when they do, prejudices from both races often label them as outcasts from birth. Many find solace living solitary lives, while others seek out some kind of society that would accept them.
Of Opposing Worlds
Elvbins share a resemblance to both of their parents, but are almost never mistaken for either. Appearing as short, broad-faced elves with heavily-tinted skin tones matching that of their goblin parent, with long, pointed ears and small fangs for teeth. Their eyes appear elvish but are commonly somewhere within the range of red to yellow. They stand somewhat taller than most goblins and weigh slightly more than them, as well. Despite not being accepted by either society, many feel driven to go to great lengths to find a tribe of their own.
Elvbin Names
Elvbins tend to use either goblin or elven naming conventions. If they are raised in either society, they are often given a name fitting that society, or a bastardized mesh of the two. Often, they will adopt the elven technique of choosing their own name when they reach maturity– if only to escape the often insulting nature of their given name.
Elvbin Traits
The unique combination of elvish and goblin blood grants elvbins a variety of skills from both sides of their lineage.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2.
Age. Elvbins mature at a similar rate to humans. This is an issue to the extremely quick maturation rate of goblins and the extremely slow maturation rate of elves, often resulting in them being declared an adult too early or late. They live much longer than goblins, though, depending on several factors, some can reach their sixth century of life, while others will likely only reach a century and a half.
Alignment. Elvbins are drawn towards chaos from their heritage and the unusual circumstances of their existence as a whole, and while many feel the pull of evil from the way they are mistreated, many others feel most comfortable in a more neutral stance.
Size. Elvbins stand somewhat taller than most goblins, but the tallest among them are comparable to dwarves, between 4 and 5 feet in height. Your size is Small.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern colour in darkness, only shades of grey.
Fey Ancestry. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed and magic can’t put you to sleep.
Nimble Escape. You can take the Disengage or Hide action as a bonus action on each of your turns.
Willed Trance. Your elven heritage grants you access to some variation of a Trance. When you sleep, you may choose to either spend only 5 hours asleep or 8 hours in a semi-conscious trance state similar to that of an elf. Either of these options grants you the same benefit as a human would gain from 8 hours of sleep.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Goblin, and Elvish.
Subrace. Elvbins can belong to any elven subrace, depending on their elven heritage. If you wish to choose a subrace not listed below, work with your DM to determine what your subrace grants you.
Dark Elf (Drowblin)
“Drow and Goblins both get a bad rep, and sometimes that can be for good reason. Their reputations are usually opposingly negative, but even they can sometimes bond over this shared distrust…”
—Grumbel
These elvbins are the most biologically possible, thanks to the higher fertility of drow, but the two races ever coming together like this is rarer even than almost all other elves. Sometimes called Drowblins, they are seen as abominations in drow society, and as threats in goblin society, which leaves them even more outcast than other elvbins.
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1.
Superior Darkvision. Your darkvision has a 120 ft. radius.
Drow Magic. You know the dancing lights cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the faerie fire spell once per day. When you reach 5th level, you can also cast the darkness spell once per day. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Additional Language. You can speak, read, and write Undercommon.
Eladrin (Elablin)
“The fey are incredibly open and accepting, which has led many goblins into the Fey Forest, or even the Feywild beyond, and it’s not unbelievable for an elvbin to come about after a while. Whenever one wanders out, the lack of acceptance they will face will surprise them, but they are among the friendliest elvbins out there.“
—Grumbel
These elvbins do not often leave the Feywild or Fey Forest, but natural curiosity and boredom sometimes drive them to do so. The openness of the fey means that these are among the more common elvbin, but their seclusion still marks them as extremely rare away from fey domains.
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1.
Mask of the Wild. You can attempt to hide even when you are only lightly obscured by foliage, heavy rain, falling snow, mist, and other natural phenomena.
Fey Step. As a bonus action, you can magically teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. Once you use this trait, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest. You do not gain the added abilities of the seasons, however.
Additional Language. You can speak, read, and write Sylvan.
Fire Elf (Flamabin)
“Flamabins are an interesting case, as far as half-races go. Fire elves are already partially fire-elemental, so the further introduction of goblin genes sets them even further apart. Considering that fire elves are already uncommon, seeing a flamabin is rarer than spotting a dragon spending its gold.”
—Grumbel
These elvbins are very similar to their high elvbin cousins in terms of society, but those who choose to remain in Pyrefell are rarely welcomed anywhere besides the Tower of Embers.
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Of the Flame. You have resistance to fire damage.
Fire Elf Magic.  You know the produce flame cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the burning hands spell once per day. When you reach 5th level, you can also cast the pyrotechnics spell once per day. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
High Elf (High Elvbin, or Sun, Moon, or Star Elvbin)
“These elvbin have everything stacked against them. The high elves dislike goblins more than most, and they’re not known for being accepting of the less common races. It’s exceedingly rare for an elvbin like this to be found anywhere near high elf society, leaving the best option as striking out on their own."
—Grumbel
High elvbins are among the rarest, as few high elves are willing to form even a passing connection with a goblin, much less reproduce with one. Whenever they do occur, they are almost always ostracized from high elven societies, leaving many to seek out homes elsewhere. If they choose to settle in with a goblin society, their natural intelligence will allow them to impress their way to a decent standing with their fellows.
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Cantrip. You know one cantrip of your choice from the wizard spell list. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for it.
Skill Versatility. You gain proficiency in three skills of your choice.
Sea Elf (Seabed Elvbin)
“At the bottom of the seas or the oceans, scavengers will often find themselves with fierce competition. Seabed elvbin are experts at scavenging shipwrecks and are not uncommon to be found setting up shops in coastal towns. Many elvbin have formed their own societies populated by themselves and any that seek to join them, and most are born of two seabed elvbin rather than a sea elf and a goblin.“
—Grumbel
These elvbins are the most populous elvbins in Jadeclyff, having formed their own societies at the bottom of bodies of water several generations ago. As such, they are more accepted than other subraces of elvbin, though still looked at warily by most, and it is rare to see them away from established areas.
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1.
Child of the Sea. You have a swimming speed of 30 feet, and you can breathe air and water.
Seabed Scavenger. You have proficiency with the investigation and perception skills.
Additional Language. You can speak, read, and write Aquan.
Shadar-Kai (Gobbar-Kai)
“Half-shadar-kai elvbins, colloquially referred to as gobbar-kai, are- without a doubt- the rarest elvbins out there. For a shadar-kai to reproduce with a goblin requires so many coincidences to occur that it may as well have been prearranged. There is no way to know if the Raven Queen would hold claim over their soul until after their birth, leaving no real reason for her to arrange the conception, making them a sight to behold indeed.”
—Grumbel
These elvbins are exceedingly rare, and almost always born out of the rare case of a Shadar-Kai stepping free of the Raven Queen’s command to form an actual connection with someone– and the even rarer case of that someone being a goblin.
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1.
Necrotic Resistance. You have resistance to necrotic damage.
Blessing of the Raven Queen. As a bonus action, you can fade into shadow and magically teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. Once you use this trait, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
Wood Elf (Forest Elvbin)
“Their smaller stature, natural agility, and greener skin can make these elvbins talented hunters. While not always accepted by other wood elves, forest elvbins are usually treated a little better than most elvbins, though few wood elves would be eager to parent one, leaving them, like most elvbins, to live solitary lives.“
—Grumbel
These elvbins tend to keep to their forested homes, avoiding attention where they can. It isn’t uncommon to find them living solitary lives high in the trees, masters of their environment and leaping between branches to escape danger or collect food.
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Fleet of Foot. Your base walking speed increases by 5 feet.
Treetop Travellers. You have a base climbing speed of 25 feet, and you have proficiency in the acrobatics skill.
Mask of the Wild. You can attempt to hide even when you are only lightly obscured by foliage, heavy rain, falling snow, mist, and other natural phenomena.

Trying to practice more with water color pencils a bit (Got a new set with a much wider color palette...I actually have purple now).
Also used micron pens and a little bit of gouache paint.
Sadly the drawing did end up a bit oblong. I am still working with a easel or really any sturdy alt to keep the page upright. This also the first I can remember trying attempting a more unnatural skintone. Was trying for a moon elf-ish tone. Very pink. Also messed one of the eyes up and it looks a bit more muddy then intended.
The character is one of my DND/BG3 charas. Named Masrak, a wizard with a fascination with toxins/poisons and son of a Seldarine Drow and High (moon) Elf. I used the drow name table from issue 267 of Dragon Magazine for his given name. The surname is based of the table in issue 251 for (admittedly given) elf names.
Dude gets his skintone and hair color from his pops.

a while back in the news headlines that firefox recommends to you on the new tab, it showed me a kotaku article or smth that was called smth like "dungeon meshi is the cooking anime dungeons and dragons fans deserve." closest ive ever been to throwing my computer in a lake tbh
god okay to be COMPLETELY fair, it's clear that Kui is drawing from the DnD oeuvre, from some of the old-fashioned character tropes she's drawing on, the specific selection of races to populate the main setting (Humans, Elves, Gnomes, Halflings, Dwarves, and Half-Elves) are almost the exact lineup as the 3.5finder core rulebooks, missing only half-orcs, and of course to specifically focus on a mixed-class party venturing deep into a dungeon. It's just that that's got some distance from the MODERN DnD culture which is more focused on aboveground stuff, has its own memes and cultures, as well as a lot of the stuff that 5e bumped to core like Warlocks, Dragonborn, and Tieflings. Additionally, we can see from her Elves In Other Fiction sketches that she specifically has played some Pathfinder adventure paths! Which is incredibly based.
Anyway saying Dunmeshi is DnD inspired is not strictly wrong, but it's less Dimension 20 and more Order of the Stick.

so, i don't usually crosspost these posts, but this week's update on patreon is available to everyone and I know I have a bit of a larger following on tumblr, and I'd really like everyone on the same page so I'm dropping all I have to say here too.
good evening friends!! i hope you're all doing well! welcome to the first update of 2024. momentous for me personally, because this is the year we finish larkin. i am making this post available to all patrons, (paid or not) because I'd really like to start 2024 on the right foot with everyone aware of the road ahead. i am so determined to get it done you have no idea. this is my year. 2024, i christen thee: the year of the vampire cowboy.
okay, so big things ahead, lets talk about the update, explore some of the features we have in the game, plans for this weekends release, the schedule and a couple other things.
so, if you've played at all with the new version of the game, you'll take notice that it's a little bit different than my first image of the game. at first larkin was just a straight interactive fiction following the likes of cog like games, with choices and avenues and split stats and the like. but now, as of 2024 (crazy) we're seeing a game that is more reminiscent of a ttrpg, like dnd or cyberpunk, with stats, classes and dice rolls. admittedly, the very first encounter of the game is well (it's a little rigged) the game, of course, could not really get started if the preacher gets cooked before they've even made it to nevada, so, the odds are a little bit stacked in the players favor this round, but at least, it gives you a little bit of a taste of whats to come. to dive into the specifics of what's important with this first encounter (or just, how to avoid getting your ass really kicked) these first few rolls give bonuses to players with high dexterity and athleticism—-but that's not to say you need to make your character beefed up in these departments. each stat will get their time to shine later down the line.
but let's talk about what i'm really excited to discuss: classes. so with the new version of larkin, i've introduced a system of classes that operate somewhat like your standard dungeons and dragons class, but with a little bit more of that classic background from the original ttrpg mixed in—coloring the way your character sees the world of the game, sort of how a race might effect a dnd character--(a dwarf player is going to have a much different worldview than say, an elf.) for this i was heavily inspired by games like dragon age origins and baldur's gate, and while I do have those original background ready to be dropped a little bit later on the game in relation to your character's perspectives on the abrams family, I really like how these have come to form.
in total there are seven new classes: con-man, outlaw, healer, thief, gambler, showman and slayer. each of these classes warps the perspective of the player character, giving them new motivations, dialogue options, and affects their relationships with the other characters in the game and the world around them. to illustrate this, I'm thinking of making a little bit more of an in depth explanation screen to be added to saturday's update to really get that point across, but I'm still toying with how I want to phrase the specifics of it. what i might do is something similar to baldur's gate with little pop-up tutorials that can be turned off/on depending on how you'd like to play.
to give an example of some of the more in depth motivations/choices each class offers lets talk about the thief and the outlaw classes. the thief class i am especially excited for, because like the con-man class and similar to a few others, it really allows your character to be very money/materialistically motivated. it opens up routes later in the game, like romancing one of the sokolovs—with motivations reminiscent of gold-digging (hehehe very excited for that—i think it will be very fun to write—because you have this idea of a cold hearted player who is entering into a relationship with them strictly for business, versus a cold hearted player who is in it for the cash but also. might be falling in love with one of the sokolovs? ((a lot of fun dynamics afoot here.)) the outlaw class is also one i'm excited to work with because it really puts something of a strain on the preacher and wyatt's relationship—-mostly because you see a strong division in terms of their ethics—the preacher in that case is very 'do what you gotta do to survive,' whereas wyatt believes (key word—believes) he's living by some sort of moral code—that he's failed to instill in the person he views as his child. so like there are layers here boys. layers of resentment, failure—to connect, to teach, to bond. a final tidbit about the slayer class before I move on: if you would really like to play into the enemies to lovers trope with one of the vampires, I would highly recommend giving your player this class ((that's all I'll say))
so: saturday, that takes us to the bar, where each class will get a unique scene, similar to how the scheming tactic section worked in the original game. we're gonna finish up the encounter with the first vampires, meet our guild pursuers and move to the bar. I'm planning also to implement the character customization here—(sort of a way to prep before the player heads out to the bar.) most likely won't get to all classes by saturday's code, but after that, I'm planning to release again on next wednesday, so we're keeping on track. I'd really like to give a full picture of customization for the player character, with all the original options for physical appearance (i might keep clothes vague for now though and let you dress your character later on, until you get a taste of the inventory/bartering system-—you have to deal with MY poor fashion choices for a little bit.) but that being said, about character customization, if there's something that's lacking here and you'd like to suggest an addition I'd be all ears. This is what I'm planning to implement so far:
skin tone
body type*
hair color
hair texture
hair length
hair style**
height
skin details (acne, scars, vitiligo, rosacea)
facial hair
make-up
piercings
eyewear (glasses, no glasses, eyepatch, prosthetic eye)
gender-affirming customization (for ex. use of binding)
* a note on the body type section, I kind of had this idea of digitally drawing some silhouettes of different heights, shapes and sizes, and allowing the player to click through arrows to select a rough estimation of what their body-type might look like. I'm going to do an art dump later this month, and I have a few sketches of what I'd kinda like to do with that, but I'm still toying with it, because even that could be a little limiting in terms of options. if any of you had thoughts on that, I'd love to hear them.
**I think it might also be cool to kind of have drawings of different hairstyles available to the characters, arranged in the card formats like the previous gender options in that same red colored sketch format.
speaking of art though--and this is purely tangential so I apologize, I'm sure you've taken notice of some of the art being repetitive--for the moment that's purposeful. I'm planning to commission some work for the cards to be implemented in a later update--so what you're seeing are just placeholders for now.
okay! with saturday's notes out of the way, plans for the rest of the week. I need to finish the timeline and then I need to make it readable to people other than myself. it is currently incomprehensible and of the few people that have gotten their eyes on it only one (1) could make sense of my mad ramblings. (shout out to friend of the game bianca from exiled from court if any of you are familiar with her or her stuff, we are  big bianca fans here.) After that I need to do some edits with the new update and such, and poke at the code.
Tonight after I post this, I'm specifically working on sending a few more emails to betas (know that sending emails is. my personal hell because of intense social anxiety. BUT we must persevere. emails will be sent tonight.) after that, I have to work on the phillip/kc/sam schedule + calendar for this month, just to keep the three of us on the same page. I'm in the process of looking at some stamps.com printers for sending out packages with this next round of physical rewards and ordering the merch (hehehe)
okay. super long update for our first one of the year, but I am so excited to get to keep working with you guys :) i'd like to thank you all for your continued support and I can't wait to show you more of the little universe i've crafted :)
until friday! i'm gonna be posting some cyrus asks/scenarios for you all to enjoy, so look forward to that! <3

A couple of ideas for alterhumans to help connect to your kintypes!
(pt: a couple of ideas for alterhumans to help connect to your kintypes! end pt) long post ahead :p these dont have any specific kintype in mind, so this applies to pretty much anybody! 1. Research more about your kintype! learning cool stuff is actually pretty fun, the more you learn about your kintype (whether that be from a book, a informational video, or a website) the more you'll learn about yourself and therefore you can connect to your kintype better 2. Eat some food that reminds you of your kintype! we all gotta eat in order to live, so you might as well eat something you enjoy and your kintype enjoys! you could eat some foods your kintype eats (ex: sushi if your kintype is piscivorous) or you could eat some foods that remind you of your kintype's habitat. make sure what your eating is safe and also be safe if you have any allergies and/or dietary restrictions! 3. Decorate your room/den to remind you of your kintype's habitat! there's many ways you can do this! if you have colored light strips you can change it to a color of your habitat, you can collect items that you associate with your kintype (this is also great if your dragonkin or another kintype that enjoys hoarding things!) you can get candles or air freshener that smells like a habitat to use in your room, and you can even print out some pictures that remind you of your kintype to put on your wall! theres many more too 4. play! many species of animals learn about how to survive by playing, so this can be good to connect with your kintype can be fun and euphoric! you can run around if your caninekin, headbutt stuff if your goatkin (please be really careful and dont headbutt any hard items i dont want anybody to get a concussion D:), playfight with your fellow kin friends if your...well...a lot of animals really, or pounce on stuff if your felinekin! but play dosent have to be physical all the time! you can also play video games with your kintype, rp online as your kintype, or if your a fan on DnD you can play dnd as a race that is or is similar to your kintype! 5. dress like your kintype! -im pretty sure you all know gear is quite popular in the alterhuman community, but along with that you can tailor your clothing style (pun intended) to match your kintype's appearence! i like to dress with bright colors and ocean themed accescories to match my tropical sea monster kintype. another example is that lets say if your polarbearkin you can dress in fluffy and warm clothing with white and blue colors. but also take the tempature into mind, i dont think you'd wanna dress like a polar bear when its 120 degrees out lol other things you can do: -make a pinterest board and put images that remind you of your kintype! (heres mine if you want a example) -draw your kintype, or make a kinsona/fursona to represent yourself -listen to some music! believe it or not spotify has a official otherkin mix that you can listen to, its pretty good! -watch shows or documentaries about your kintype -go to a zoo with your kintype -go to a place your kintype would live if you can (ex: the beach if your orcakin, or the mountains if your snowleopardkin) and yea! i hope this helps some folks out! theres many more ways to connect with your kintype including many posts that are focused on a particular species, so i'd recomend doing some research here! :D
stay safe, drink some water, take ur meds if you got any, and be yourself always! :3

Armored Lady Monday
this is an adoptable i made for patreon (somebody already got em btw) based on a custom race i made for dnd since at some point we switched from one system to dnd and i wanted to keep my faun like creature as close to what it was before
this one in particular i had the idea of how a paladin from said race would come to be and what kind of armor they would wear, i ended up landing on aztec inspired stuff mixed with intricate fabrics, i hope you like it!

Cheat - Eddie Munson x fem!reader
summary: Y/N is shocked to catch Eddie cheating at DnD...
warnings: swearing/cursing, slightly suggestive themes, let me know if there's anything else!
a/n: Let's just ignore vol.2 shall we 🙃 All things mentioned DnD wise are from 5th edition as it's what I use, so apologies for any historical inaccuracies there. Feedback always appreciated!
Masterlist & Request Info!
-
“And with a swipe of its claws, the dragon sends the mighty Sir Ode crashing to the floor, unconscious. The dragon turns, its frosty eyes drawn to its last remaining adversary… The incomparable sorceress, Udora Ulwick. Now, Udora, the fate of the party lies in your hands. What's your move?”
All eyes at the table turn to Y/N with rapt interest. The session had been running for several hours now, and after stumbling across what transpired to be an ancient white dragon, the party’s characters had been drawn into a gruelling, savage battle that had already cost several lives.
“I-oh god, what do I do?” Y/N said anxiously, looking to the rest of the party for help. Eddie leaned back in his seat, a satisfied smirk on his lips as he watched the panic unfold in front of him.
The room erupted into shouts from every direction, each person throwing their own opinion and advice into the mix as Y/N struggled to keep up with them all.
“Go for the attack, Y/N!”
“Yeah, it’s low on hit points!”
“No, you’ve got to heal someone, you need backup!”
“No she doesn’t, she’s got a 7th level spell slot left you moron!”
"Revive me, you need the protection of a cleric!"
“Quiet!” Eddie’s voice rose above the cacophony of noise, hands held up to silence everyone else as he fixed Y/N with an encouraging look, “It’s the lady’s choice. Let her make it.”
Y/N took a deep breath, studying the spellcasting section of the character sheet before her nervously.
Although it was already in its sixth session the campaign was still Y/N's first, so she wasn’t quite as confident in her actions as the rest of the party who had been playing Dungeons & Dragons for years.
She’d initially only agreed to join Hellfire as a one-off favour for Lucas, but after discovering that it was actually a hell of a lot of fun, perhaps in part due to the charismatic Dungeon Master whose smile made her heart race, she had asked to join as an official member.
Y/N knew she hadn’t exactly been the strongest player so far. In spite of that she always enjoyed herself and gave it her all during sessions, although she sometimes made silly decisions purely down to her inexperience.
That hadn’t mattered too much so far though, save for the disastrous encounter with the mimick the previous week, but now, with everyone else's characters incapacitated or unconscious, the fate of the entire campaign rested on her shoulders.
Y/N cast her eyes up to Eddie who, despite still sitting back with his arms folded cockily, gave her a reassuring nod, eyes boring into hers.
Her heart hammered under his intense watch and she stood from her chair with a steely determination, gaze unwavering as she pointed a finger at him for added effect.
“I cast… Finger of Death!”
The party burst out into divided cries, half delighted and half horrified at Y/N's decision. Dustin gave her a double thumbs up, but their cleric, Garrett, smacked a hand to his forehead in exasperation.
Y/N looked back to Eddie who grinned madly, sitting forward in his seat eagerly.
“Finger of Death, eh Y/N? Well we’ll have to see if that hits, won’t we?”
“Make the saving throw, Munson.” She replied shrewdly, leaning across the table to stare him down.
Eddie chuckled at her, clearly entertained by Y/N’s newfound confidence, before standing and grabbing the d20, tossing it casually onto the table in front of him. The party stood with bated breath, waiting for the die to come to a halt behind the Dungeon Master’s screen.
The room went silent as the telltale clattering of the die came to an end after what felt like an age. Eddie’s gaze left the table to cast a brief glance at Y/N. Her eyes were wide, anxious and hopeful as one hand gripped Lucas’ arm tightly.
He hesitated before breaking out into a bellowing cry, hand clutching his heart as he stumbled back into his chair dramatically, playing the part of the slain dragon.
“That’s a hit, Y/N!”
The room instantly erupted in cheers, the younger teens running to hug Y/N as she jumped up and down in elation, finally feeling as though she had proved her worth and was deserving of her place at the table.
“Oh my god, I did it!” She said breathlessly, mouth hanging open in shock as though she couldn’t quite bring herself to believe it. She caught Eddie’s gaze over Lucas’ shoulder and he bowed his head to her, a dazzling smile on his face as he did so.
“Great job, Y/N.”
Once the celebrations died down the party began to pack their belongings away, Y/N unable to keep from beaming as she tucked her character sheet neatly away in her bag. Dustin wandered past her towards Eddie, awarding him praise for the latest game.
"That was an awesome session, dude. I loved the- hey, you rolled an 18." Dustin’s innocent statement seemed to ring out above the rest of the commotion and Y/N froze over her bag, listening carefully to his next words.
"Shut up, Henderson." Eddie warned in a low voice, shifting nervously as Mike joined him and Dustin at the head of the table, trying to get a glimpse of the die in question.
"But you only needed a 15 to win the saving throw. You beat Y/N's spell with an 18."
"What?" The girl in question’s head whipped up to the pair, looking at Eddie questioningly, "Is that true?" She moved to snatch the DM screen away to reveal the die but he was too quick, grabbing the offending object before she could see the true result of his roll.
"Eddie!" She said, affronted. If anything his defensive reaction had proved Dustin's words to be true.
Y/N stood gawking at him, disbelieving. Why would he lie about a roll, especially when it was to his own detriment?
Eddie was nothing if not a fastidious Dungeon Master, he followed the rules to a fault and certainly never gave them any advantage during the game. In fact, he was incredibly strict and had never hesitated to kill off an entire party mid campaign before.
"What’s going on?" She demanded, hands coming to rest on the table as she stared down at him angrily, "Did you lie to let me win?"
Eddie grew flustered as his eyes shifted to the other Hellfire members, attempting to completely avoid Y/N.
"No, of course not!" He protested, trying to laugh it off, but it was without any of his usual confidence and only furthered Y/N's suspicions. Eddie didn’t get flustered, ever. He was lying.
"Dustin, tell me the truth. What did he roll?" Y/N rounded the table towards the teen, coming to stand before him with her hands on her hips in what she hoped was her most menacing pose.
"Uh- come on, Y/N. Does it really matter? We won, didn’t we?" Dustin looked between the pair, unwilling to rat out Eddie who he completely idolised, but also not having the guts to barefaced lie to Y/N who was visibly upset. He had never seen her get angry at someone before, but she was downright furious with Eddie.
"Of course it matters! I don’t want to win just because Mr. high and mighty Dungeon Master over here thinks I’m some stupid little girl that he needs to go easy on! Got to dumb things down for me, right Eddie?"
Y/N had always felt as though Eddie had treated her differently to the rest of the party.
He'd never gone so far as cheating to help her before, at least not that she knew of, but he often held back on the usual sarcastic and judgemental remarks that the rest of the party received.
It wasn't that he'd never teased her, but there was a marked difference between how he treated her and the boys. His quips didn’t hold the same bite when he spoke to her, they always seemed a little restrained whereas he had no problem tearing into the boys when they made a mistake.
Y/N had never really thought much into it before, chalking it up to the fact that that he was just more familiar with the others, but with the proof in front of her that the otherwise stickler for the rules, Eddie Munson, had faked a roll in her favour made her mind whirl trying to figure out why.
Did he think she was stupid? That the game was too complicated for her to properly understand? Was he fed up with the lousy moves she kept making? She’d admittedly made some bad plays in the past, maybe he felt like he had to make up for it so that the rest of the team wouldn’t have to suffer the consequences of her foolish actions.
Y/N felt a hot flash of embarrassment run through her, feeling humiliated. She’d just celebrated with everyone, feeling on top of the world with the knowledge that she’d finally been an asset to the party, but it was just a lie.
She was still as useless as ever and had just cost them the entire campaign. Jeff and Garret avoided catching her eye completely, and the others just watched her with pity.
Y/N bristled, snatching up her bag and flinging it over her shoulder as she marched towards the door, stopping only to fix Eddie with an icy glare.
“I quit.”
The party watched her retreating back as she stormed from the room, the door slamming behind her leaving utter silence in its wake.
All eyes turned slowly to Eddie who sat frozen in his seat, for once in his life lost for words. He felt guilty for lying to the team about the roll, but mostly he was taken aback at Y/N’s reaction.
He hadn’t intended to upset her, it was just that ever since she joined Hellfire she’d had rubbish luck with her rolls, so he’d wanted to give her a first win. Especially after he had witnessed how anxious and invested in the game she was, he just couldn’t help himself.
Not that he’d ever admit it to the guys, but he was totally hooked on Y/N. During their DnD sessions he found himself increasingly obsessed with finding things to do or say that would get her to smile or laugh at him, his stomach doing somersaults any time that she’d give him her undivided attention.
It was completely pathetic, really. He, Eddie Munson, hardcore metalhead and leader of the Hellfire club, feeling what he could only describe as giddy over a girl. And cheating at DnD! It was unheard of. He seriously needed to pull himself together.
“Now you’ve really gone and blown it.” Dustin exhaled loudly, shaking his head at his friend.
“Yes, thank you Henderson for that keen observation.” Eddie rubbed his palms into his eyes, frustrated as he tried to figure out where things had gone quite so wrong, “Sorry, gentlemen, for casting doubt on the integrity of the campaign. You can rest assured it won’t happen again.”
“Don’t worry about it, dude. I’d let her win too if I was trying to bang her.” Jeff piped up from behind him and Eddie instantly jumped to his feet, poking a finger in Jeff's chest angrily.
“Hey! Don’t talk about Y/N like that, man. It’s not like that.”
Jeff held his hands up in surrender, mumbling an apology as he backed away from him.
“You think you should go talk to her or something?” Lucas said hesitantly, not wanting to elicit another outburst from their DM. His words seemed to bring Eddie back to reality.
“Shit. Right.” He nodded, cramming the rest of the Hellfire equipment into his bag haphazardly before taking off after Y/N.
-
"Y/N, where are you going?" Eddie reached her just as she was exiting the school, the dim street lights the only thing illuminating her form on the otherwise dark evening.
"Home." She replied tersely, avoiding looking at him as she continued her path out of the school grounds.
"Well you're going the wrong way, the van's back there." He said with a nervous laugh, throwing a thumb over his shoulder to gesture at his van that sat across the parking lot.
It was customary for Eddie to give Y/N a ride home after Hellfire. After getting caught on her bike in a torrential downpour following her first session, he'd insisted that she couldn't take the risk again, even if there was a noticeable absence of clouds in the sky.
"No I'm not. I'm walking."
"You can't walk home, Y/N. Not at this time!" He shouted after her, a vain attempt to get her to stop.
“Yes I can, I don’t need you to do everything for me.” She huffed out pointedly, picking up her pace to break into a light jog as she ignored Eddie’s calls from behind her, heading towards the street.
Y/N hadn’t made it far down the main road before she heard the rattling of a familiar vehicle pull up beside her, Eddie's van visible just out of the corner of her eye. Still refusing to acknowledge his presence, she continued walking with her head held high, eyes set straight ahead of her.
Eddie ran his van alongside Y/N as she walked swiftly down the road, half leaning out of the window to plead with her.
“Come on, Y/N. I can’t let you walk home alone.” He begged, trying to lighten the tone with his next words, “You never know what kind of monsters might be lurking out there in the woods.”
When in doubt Eddie always turned to cracking jokes, finding that his offbeat sense of humour usually did the trick in de-escalating situations. To his dismay it didn't seem to be working with Y/N.
“And I wouldn’t stand a chance against them, would I?” Her eyes flashed dangerously as she finally stopped walking and turned to acknowledge him, “Silly old Y/N doesn’t even know how to play a stupid boardgame, let alone walk herself home. Right?”
Eddie sighed, hanging his head remorsefully.
“I’m sorry, Y/N.” He said earnestly, “Will you just get in the van? Please.”
Y/N eyed the road ahead of her, envisioning the long walk that she knew was in store.
Unfortunately for her, and unbeknownst to Eddie, she did know the kind of monsters that lurked in the woods of Hawkins. She knew them all too well.
A shiver ran up her spine at the thought and she let out a bitter sigh, rounding the front of the van and throwing open the passenger side door with unneceasary force.
“Fine. But this doesn’t change anything."
The drive to Y/N’s house was awkward, to say the least.
Eddie knew that he needed to apologise and he desperately wanted to, but wasn’t entirely sure how to put it into words.
Hey Y/N, did you know I only let you win because I fancy the pants off you? Yeah, and that little pout you do when you lose, it makes me want to jump across the table and kiss you so hard you see stars?
No, that would never work.
"Do you think I'm stupid?" Y/N's voice interrupted his inner turmoil and he cast a quick glance over at her, watching as she hung her head, fingers playing with the hem of her skirt. Despite the situation he found it hard to concentrate on the road ahead, his gaze drifting to her fingers and the bare skin of her thighs that lay beneath them.
"What?" Eddie seemed genuinely surprised at Y/N’s words, all the improper thoughts of the soft, inviting skin of her legs leaving his mind rapidly.
"Is that why you let me win? Because I’m rubbish at DnD and you feel sorry for me? I might not be the best, but it's my first campaign and I'm trying. I know I've made some really stupid moves but-"
"I don't think you're stupid." He cut across her, disheartened that he’d made her feel that way. His voice was softer than usual as he continued, "Actually, I think you're kind of awesome."
It was true. There was a reason why Eddie had been so eager to accept Y/N into Hellfire as a permanent member.
He’d be the first to admit that he’d initially questioned why the preppy looking girl had agreed to sub in for Lucas. With her soft pink skirt and fluffy white cardigan she was in complete contrast to him and the rest of the party, visibly out of place at the table.
But he of all people should've known not to judge a book by its cover. Y/N was immediately invested in the campaign, coming prepared with a detailed character sheet and hanging onto his every word as he described the scenes before them, taking notes of all the little hints and clues that he'd purposefully let slip in a notebook reserved especially for the occasion.
Where he would usually grill new members, Eddie suddenly found himself unable to, taken aback by her innocent, enthusiastic smile and the way her eyes lit up as she surveyed the table, complimenting the detail of the maps and miniatures that he’d spent far too long setting up.
He didn't know how Sinclair knew the high school senior or had managed to get her to join them, but he made a mental note to thank the kid for turning to the so-called dark side and requiring a sub to fill his place.
Y/N was radiant, so full of energy and kind-hearted that it was hard not to get drawn in by her. What made it worse is that she was so damn pretty too. Despite knowing that she was way out of his league, and that he was everything she should stay away from, Eddie found himself addicted to her.
Addicted to her infectious laugh, glowing smile, and sparkling eyes. And he was especially addicted to the way that she watched him during their DnD sessions, attention solely on him, captivated by every word that he said.
It was even better when he had her all to himself after the sessions, even if it was just for just the small amount of time that it took to drive her home. To begin with they mostly spoke about the campaign, but as time drew on he found the conversations progressing past DnD to anything and everything; their interests, hobbies, hopes and dreams, and their futures.
Y/N had even shown interest in the music he liked, although he was certain that it wasn't really her thing at all. She'd tap her foot along to whatever cassette he happened to have on that day, and he took notice of the tracks she seemed to prefer. Usually it was the less thrashy ones, songs like Fairies Wear Boots and Rainbow in the Dark, and she definitely wasn’t keen on any Anthrax tunes, but regardless she always asked questions about his music and seemed genuinely interested in the answers he gave.
Kind of awesome didn't do her justice at all, but then what words could?
"R-really?” Y/N's voice faltered at his words, giddy at the compliment but wondering where on earth it had come from and just what he meant by it. Eddie nodded with a nervous smile, but his confession just served to confuse her further, “Then why did you lie about the roll?"
“It was getting late.” He shrugged, hoping that she couldn’t see through his lies, “I knew Harrington would be there to pick the kids up so I had to wrap things up anyway.”
“Bullshit.”
Eddie was taken aback by Y/N’s ferocity, although completely unsurprised that she had read him like an open book.
“That’s never stopped you before.” She pressed on, “You’re lying to me. And made me feel like shit! The way Jeff and Garret looked at me, they think I’m a total moron!”
“I didn’t mean to make you feel like shit, Y/N. And the guys don't think you're a moron.”
"Yes they do. I've seen the way they look at me, like I don't belong in Hellfire. I bet you're all fed up with how I keep screwing up your amazing campaign."
"You're not screwing up anything. They're experienced players, it's all good fun when things go a bit wrong and you have to think on your feet." Eddie responded honestly, taking note to have a word with Jeff and Garret before their next session.
“Then why did you do it? Just tell me the truth!” Y/N cried, at a loss to why Eddie seemed to be avoiding answering her question truthfully.
"Because I'm crazy about you Y/N! Jesus christ!” A frustrated yell burst from his chest as he slammed on the brakes, bringing the van to a sudden halt at the side of the road.
A long silence followed and Eddie brought a hand up to run over his face, “Sorry, I just like you, alright? Really like you, so I wanted you to win. I saw how upset you were after you messed up last week and I thought it’d make you happy if you won this time."
"Oh." Y/N replied in a small voice, words failing her as her heart hammered out her chest at Eddie's confession.
"Yeah. And for the record I don’t think you’re stupid at all, although I won’t defend your decision to enter hand to hand combat with that mimic last week. You’re a magic user for christ's sake." Eddie found himself unable to stop from filling the silence, rambling to prolong the inevitable moment when Y/N would reject him.
She laughed, hands coming up to cover her face in embarrassment, “Oh god, I knew it was a shitty move as soon as I made it, I just panicked! I get so into the game I can never think clearly!”
“That’s good, it means you’re really in the moment. And having someone that’s so invested makes me feel like I’m doing a great job as DM, y'know?”
“You are a great DM. Except for when you cheat, that is."
"Hey, you can't blame me for wanting to cheer up the fair maiden, can you?" He grinned cheekily, shooting her a wink that made her stomach flip.
"Eddie.” She started hesitantly, “C-can we go back to when you said that you like me?"
Eddie swallowed, the confident mask he wore slipping away once more. He hadn't intended to practically shout a confession of his affections at her the way he had, but now that the proverbial cat was out of the bag there was no taking it back.
He felt vulnerable, uncharacteristically nervous as he fixed his eyes on the road ahead of him, preparing for her to turn him down gently. After all, they were complete opposites. What would someone like Y/N see in him?
"Sorry if I made you uncomfortable." He apologised, preempting the impending rejection, "We can just forget I ever-"
"You didn't!" Y/N's hand shot out to grab his forearm which was still resting on the steering wheel, despite the van remaining stationary. Eddie's eyes darted down to it before meeting hers again as she quickly snatched her arm back, suddenly shy, "You didn't make me uncomfortable, I mean."
“I didn’t?”
“No. And I don't want to just forget about what you said.”
"You don't?" He felt like a parrot, repeating her words dumbly, unable to fully believe the scene unfolding before him.
"No.” She affirmed coyly, ducking her head to hide her bashful smile, “I mean, why do you think I agreed to join Hellfire in the first place?”
“I thought it might’ve been the bitchin’ t-shirts." He smirked, confidence amplifying as Y/N laughed at him, shaking her head.
"Oh, it was definitely the t-shirts. Nothing to do with the cute DM.” She agreed, giving him a wink of her own and revelling in the way he became flustered, choking out a nervous laugh. Eddie could’ve sworn that his heart stopped at that moment. Like, actually stopped dead.
“Speaking of t-shirts, you still haven't had one printed for me yet."
And there was that pout, the one he'd tried to avoid so hard by letting her win the game.
Truthfully he hadn't considered that Y/N would actually want one. It wasn't often that people, especially people like her, wanted to be visibly associated with the Hellfire freaks. Yet again, she was full of surprises.
Eddie found himself answering Y/N before he had time to process his thoughts, distracted by thoughts of her lips and just how exactly he planned on wiping that torturous pout from them.
"You can always wear mine."
There was a beat of silence and he thought for a moment that he'd taken things too far, but then Y/N swept her gaze over him, cocking her head to the side as she watched his reaction to her next words through her lashes.
"I think I'll take you up on that offer."
Eddie knew he was done for when she bit her lip, eyeing his Hellfire tshirt shamelessly.
He exhaled shakily, hesitating under her gaze and giving her a once over just as she had done to him, before deciding to live dangerously.
"You wanna go back to my place to try it on?"
Eddie felt like the devil corrupting her. Maybe everyone was right when they called him a bad influence.
But with the look Y/N was giving him he wasn't so sure if it wasn't the other way around.
She fixed him with a wicked grin and he swallowed, suddenly feeling as though he was on the back foot, like he was about to pay for his prior actions.
"I'll need you to roll a charisma check for that, Munson. And no cheating this time."

PLEASE! give us your thoughts on Dungeon Meshi ! Thank you
Bc you asked politely and i love to ramble about stuff:
First of all i love the idea of a DnD type of manga/anime, it translates so well. But also to have a DnD based manga/anime and not make it battle centric but rather a food show? Amazing, brilliant, revolutionary
I love everyone in the party for different reasons. Laios is an absolute freak, Marcille is a badass and a loser at the same time, im obsessed with Senshi's desing and Chillchuck?
Chillchuck is my guy. He's tired of everyone bullshits but goes along with everything, he thinks he is the voice of reason but he's insane too, he looks 13 but is 28, and for what i gathered online he's made unions for his race and has a wife and kids(?) and he's the most divorced man ever. What a guy
I havent seen much of Falin but i like her, she as much as a freak as Laios if not more
I like that there are multiple plots going around, i have no idea whats going on and i cant wait to find out
I like how it approaches races, each with their own culture and stigmas in a mixes society. I also like there arent that many elf, when in fantasy they are usually the most abundant race.
And also the diversity of desings, not only in races but also in genders, speacilly for women.
I love the aesthetic and rhythm of the eps
Love the disaster lesbians, long may them reing

I saw a video about a girl having focal seizures and this plot bunny came up
Steve was an idiot.
It was one of the only things that the party collectively agreed on. They loved him, don’t get them wrong, and they would never want him to leave them, or to even know that they thought it, but that was the way things were. He hadn’t done too well in school, unlike everyone else. Which was how the party would explain away all the weird things about him that they ascertained were simply him being an idiot. Zoning off constantly, confusion, taking increasingly long allotments of time to answer simple questions, mixing his words up. It was just Steve being Steve. A little dumb, slow on the uptake, but kind.
That is, until Eddie.
°•. ✿ .•°
“Your class is essentially your profession, and it'll outline the kind of role you’ll have within the party as a result.” Dustin said from the floor. He had a DND manual laying flat on the carpet. Steve was sitting criss cross beside him, staring almost too intently at the colorful pages, squinting.
“And your race will determine how your character looks, as well as giving you exclusive skills and features.”
The entire party was over for a sleepover. Robin, Argyle, and Jonathan were out by the pool smoking (if they had given Max some weed to help with joint pain, no one had to know)  Nancy was teaching Eleven how to braid hair. Steve had given her one of his mothers wigs as a text subject. They  have taken over half the livingroom floor.
Lucas was recovering from a hangover (which Steve was going to give him so much shit for once he had drank all his water and took some painkillers) and Will was stacking old slices of bread on Lucas’s face, the tower was 13 stacks long so far. Mike was sitting next to Will, watching him like a hawk. Erica was keeping a running tally of how many breads Will could stack before they fell. She was practicing rock balancing on lucas’s shin with the designer rocks from next door (don’t ask Steve why they were called designer rocks, he hadn’t asked, he just knows that’s what they’re called because once about a year ago he had cut across their rock-filled lawn and had gotten a mouthful for stepping on their designer rocks. Sue him. He helped Erica steal them a few hours ago.) she had 14 stacked, which was extremely impressive to everyone who saw it.
And Steve was trying to learn how to play DND. Dustin didn’t know that Steve actually had purchased his own dnd manual a few months back, but he had such a hard time reading (the letters moved!) that he had finally agreed to let Dustin teach him. Eddie was on the couch watching. He had been doing that a lot lately, they all had noticed. Watching Steve. The party had a betting pool on when Eddie was going to ask Steve out, since Eddie seemed to be the only one in the party who didn’t know Steve liked men.
“These features can include ability score increases, age and life expectancy changes, size differences, increased speeds, and unique languages.” Dustin moved his hands to show Steve a chart.
Steve swallowed hard once, twice, his left hand clenched and unclenched a few times. He blinked about seven times before speaking (Erica liked counting, she knew the exact average amount of times everyone in the party blinked in an hour. Steve had much more then the rest of them.)
“… What?”
“Oh my God, Steve. It’s not that hard. What do you not get?” Dustin rolled his eyes. He was starting to think this was a useless endeavor. Eddie quickly got up and grabbed a bottle from the table.
Steve squinted at him again, looked down to the paper, eyebrows drawn down.
“I- uh, en-“ Steve stumbled over his words. This could go on for minutes, in Dustin’s experience.
“That’s enough for now,” Eddie interrupted, setting the water into Steve’s lap. He quickly grabs at it with his right hand, gripping it hard enough that it almost broke.
“This would be so much easier if you just paid attention.” Dustin said, exasperated.
It took Steve a few seconds to roll his eyes. “Yeah, whatever.” He said eventually, sloppily knocking Dustin’s hat off his head.  That sets Dustin off on a long rant about the history of hats and why they should be respected.
From above, Eddie looked like he was in pain. Dustin chose not to question why.
°•. ✿ .•°
Steve had made a pretty large chicken casserole for dinner, along with a cheesy salad looking thing and Bomboloni for desert.
“What soda do you want, Steve?” Robin asked, bending down to open the bottom of the fridge. It was absolutely humongous, with thirty different sections and labels on said sections. They all assumed that Steve’s parents had done that. He didn’t correct them. He just wanted them to always be able to find exactly what they were looking for if they were hungry.
Steve opened his mouth, then closed it again. Eddie turned quickly from his place to Steve’s left.
“Ash…” Steve closed his mouth again. “Ad-“
Dustin snorted so hard that he started choking. Will silently clapped his back. Robin grinned from her place near the fridge, shaking her head. He did this frequently.
After about a minute of confused mumbling, Steve finally gets his words across.
“A Slice Strawberry Soda.”
Robin gently poked fun at him as she handed it to him. The rest of the party proceeded to start in their little let’s joke about Steve debacle, which Steve always took like a champ.
And then of course, Eddie had to be the one to set them straight.
“Steve,” Eddie said gently. “Do you know you’ve been having seizures?”
°•. ✿ .•°
It was called a Focal seizure. Most common with those who have had frequent head injuries. Symptoms were: motor spasms (like aggressive swallowing, blinking, and hand clenching) Staring blankly into space, confusion, sight issues, and speech problems.
They didn’t look like the seizures you were used to seeing. A lot of the time, people wouldn’t even know that they were having them. You can be fully conscious when they happen, mistake them for a panic attack or a simple migraine.
Eddie only caught it because his mother had had them before she died.
At first, the party thinks he’s being delusional. But then Dustin decides the party is going to skip school and check the library.
They all come to the collective decision that Steve definitely was having focal seizures. Steve wasn't an idiot. He was having seizures the entire time.
They don’t apologize for making fun of him, but they do feel bad about it. They do stop making fun of him for being stupid, though. At least until he tells them they’re allowed to smile at him when he’s having one. Steve claims it makes him feel weird when they all suddenly start acting like he’s going to die.
“Ha- wait, tsh-“ Steve paused, his hand spasming around the dice he had been about to throw.
It took them a while, but teaching Steve DND was much easier when they just spent more time letting him figure it out without pressuring him. This was his first session. It was proving to be a success, since Eddie (a very brutal DM) had such a soft spot for Steve that he was letting a lot more things slide when he was there.
“Youre having a seizure, Steve.” Eddie told him, bringing his hands down to his notes. Will had just rolled a nat-20 and saved half the party from getting eaten by a dragon.
“Ween-“ Steve squinted his eyes.
“A seizure, Steve. Can you say seizure?” Eddie took the sharp dice out of Steve’s hand so he wouldn’t hurt himself (they were made by Argyle, who didn’t how to properly use a sander. Erica, Lucas, and Mike all already had splinters from holding it) Dustin and the rest started talking about what to do next to get past a river full of lava.
"Hnnn”
“Try again.” Sometimes Steve wouldn’t catch the seizure, and think he was saying something that made sense when it didn’t. It explained a lot. So sometimes when someone else caught it, they’d let him know so he knew why no one knew what he was saying.
“Shhh,”
Eddie smiled gently at him. He looked like one of those cartoon characters that have hearts shooting out of their eyes (Erica words) “You got it.”
“Sheizure,” Steve mumbled, “seizure.”
“There we go, you’re back.”
The game continued.

I’ve had this idea for the past month. I love fantasy and I want to try mixing between heroes and fantasy after binge reading dark knights of steel 😭😭 so I tried to draw Jason Todd in his DnD inspired costume (it isn’t that good since im very much using elements from the original design of jason from dkos and his current design by Pete Woods) but I’m trying to understand more about dnd and fantasy stuff 🥹👉👈 I’m an avid fan but I’m also from a country that’s not known for dnd so i might get things very wrong sobs
So basically, I’m thinking about the bat folks gathering around and play a game of DnD, Jason is a nerd, so he would very much enjoy the whole thing. His character is an archer (since he’s a master marksman), human race, made a pact with the devil to come back to life and successfully protected his village at the cost of being ostracized. Now he operates as a ghost vigilante whose luck is just perfect enough to be paired with Dick and Tim (lol)
Stay tuned, I’ll slowly work on the others too. You guys have any suggestion to which class and race the other batfam member should be? Feel free to drop a comment 😭 and pls forgive me if I got anything wrong or too cringey
P/s: this is another attempt to get used to the ipad, procreate is harddd and I have added the masked version cuz im a scatter-brained dumbass that forgets everythang 💀

Been digging around DnD races/classes nowadays while planning characters and of course I’m trying to find what combination(s) my OCs could be. Spriggan would most likely be a Fey-Wanderer Ranger Harengon... the whole theme of luck of Harengon works rly well for them, and I love the slight mix of fight + charm that Fey Wanderer Ranger provides... Really hope I’ll get around to trying them out someday, it seems like it’d be so much fun !!
