Check Out Andrew Makadsi's 'New York, New York' DJ Set
Honey Dijon had a massive 2022. It's pretty difficult to top the high of being featured on Beyoncé's Renaissance — but the DJ and producer couldn't leave the year behind without throwing an unforgettable party to cap things off. Related | Honey Dijon Premieres Sex Positive 'La Femme Fantastique' VideoHoney enlisted the help of Andrew Makadsi (who DJs under the simple "Makadsi") as a supporting act. Raised in Lebanon and mothered by New York City, Makadsi is perhaps best known for his creative direction, but he knows how to spin tracks, too — so on December 16, 2022, he took to the Knockdown Center in Queens to do just that. Makadsi's genre-bending sound draws inspiration from Chicago to Beirut. The event, which was dubbed "Honey Dijon Presents: New York, New York," sold out soon after being announced; the week of the party, it seemed everyone in NYC was scrambling to find leftover tickets."The night of December 16 will be stamped in my memory forever, a dance floor I will never forget," Makadsi tells PAPER. "It was the perfect ending for 2022. I got to share the decks with a dear friend, collaborator and legend, Honey Dijon."If you managed to snag a ticket to the event, we have good news: You can now relive Makadsi's blow-out set as many times as you'd like, as he's just released a newly mastered version of the set. And if you couldn't make it that night — well, you'd better put on some good headphones and hit the play button, below.Photography: Julian Dakkouk

Lovely isn't he.
I finished the third book.
It's been a few days already but with work and stuff... Anyway now I'm digging through the additional content Nora posted on Tumblr, took me a while to understand how it works but now I am pleased.
I cannot express the emotionnal damage these books have done to me, but I'm not finished drawing any of the foxes. Just saying.

Brooke Candy Embodies the '80s Video Vixen in 'Juicy Fruit'
Brooke Candy is, perhaps above all else, a shapeshifter, an icon of the queer music world capable of filling just about any shoes. Her hands touch so many industries it's difficult to keep track of her, at times — tattooing, fashion and art are just the opening bullet points on her resume. Related | Brooke Candy Can Be Your Mistress on 'Flip Phone'Since releasing her debut album Sexorcism in 2019, Candy has spent much of her time working on visual art and tattooing, but her return to music is very much here. "Flip Phone," the first single from her new project — which has the working title Freaky Princess — was released last September along with a music video produced by PAPER in collaboration with Gentle Monster. "Yoga," a collaboration with Croatian DJ Only Fire, was released in October. Now, Candy returns with "Juicy Fruit" and an accompanying music video. The single was co-written with Jesse Saint John, Nick Weiss and Cecile Believe; Candy co-produced the track alongside Weiss."'Juicy Fruit' is like me going into a time capsule and exploring a time with fantasy, glamor and camp," Candy says of the video. "I wanted to embody the light-hearted glamor and sexiness of the '80s video vixen. My looks in this video are inspired by Cher, Pete Burns, milk maiden porn stars and Robert Palmer. The song is a nod to the early 2000s electro/rock. Very Peaches, one of my favorite musicians and artists. At the end of the day, all I want is to create something that makes you laugh and smile."Below, check out the video for "Juicy Fruit" and PAPER exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from the video shoot.Photography: Simone NiamaniStyling: Brooke CandyHair: Gregory RusselMakeup: Anthony NguyenClothing: Custom Seth Pratt

I'm sorry but I would apply to be a secretary at his law firm so quickly...🤤 (he wouldn't even have to pay me)
Imagine this is him giving you a stern talking-to 😵💫 (absolutely not going feral about him towering over someone here)

To note as far as I know none of the main cast of Critical Role have issued a statement calling for a ceasefire or a free Palestine-I think it’s imperative that everyone who applauds Brennan and other members of dropout for doing so to increase the pressure on them. They must issue a statement and we as a fandom must push back on said statement if need be. Spam the chat, their hashtags, @ them, they must make their stance clear now. There is no excuse otherwise
