Watching tng really reinforces just how obsessive and codependant the tos triunvirate is. Picard and beverly clearly have history, but unless she has business there, she's never on the bridge, and riker never beams down with picard, is always one or the other on the bridge. Even deanna, despite being picard's other support, does her thing. Meanwhile, jim was dragging bones and spock, the two most senior officers after him and scotty, on every new, unknown and potentially dangerous planet. Like, we been knew but it's fun to have the confirmation

RWRB + Boyfriend Material (+Husband Material)

I can totally picture Henry and Oliver getting along really well. At first, they are both very proper with one another. Then little by little they start to relax around each other, opening about other things besides politics and law. And then they just start to commiserate with each other about their chaotic boyfriends, whom they both love very much (they roll their eyes at their antics, but it's always done with a fond and loving look in their eyes).

Meanwhile, Alex and Luc are slightly awkward at first (especially Luc) but then they immediately get along, gushing about their boyfriends, how perfect they are, and how much they are in love with them.

Luc and Henry talk about their insecurities, how they feel like they are not enough (how Oliver and Alex shine brightly, while they are surrounded by darkness sometimes).

And Alex and Oliver, though for different reasons, talk about the need they have to present themselves as strong and 'perfect' (Oliver bc of his parents, Alex bc he knows how many people look up to him, and he feels pressure).

Because Dad was gone, too, and-and, yeah. That sucked. But you guys have never…you’ve never told me what was actually going on. And Caleb always speaks in these long-winded Zemnian riddles. I think he does it to throw me off so I won’t ask him about it any more.” “You’ve asked Caleb about this?” Veth asked with a jolt. “Well, yeah,” Luc said, like this was an obvious conclusion. “At least he says more than Caduceus does.
