Do you think Grimm being an omega affected any of his relationship with the other Espadas before Ichigo arrived? Did anyone tease him over how obsessed he got with ALPHA Ichigo?

Oh I definitely dooo 🤭✨ I had several twt threads with some of these ideas so, if u followed me over there, some of these might sound familiar dasfdg

In an omegaverse setting, I headcanon most arrancar (specially the Espadas) to be Alphas. Simply bc it seems to work better for Aizen that way; less Omegas means less bothering with heats being an interruption, and also means more agressive/restless Alphas.

I think the only Omegas would be Ulquiorra and Grimmjow (and Nell too) and for very good reasons.

In my headcanons I usually have only the Hollows (Gillian and up) to be the only ones with a secondary gender, as I think it fits the canon lore that these Hollows are made up of thousands of souls. Aizen would only be posing as the role of an Alpha in his makeshift "pack".

Ulquiorra would make sense to be an Omega with how easily he becomes Aizen's most trusted Espada (+ it fits my own Ulquiorra being sort of infatuated with Aizen headcanons lol)...

But then we have Grimmjow- his role is a bit more complicated in Aizen's plan imo, because he's meant to go rogue and be disloyal. Him being an Omega means Aizen (w that alpha posing I mentioned, along with his canon reiatsu power displays and overall manipulation) can have a better grip on him while also letting him loose.

Before Ichigo- Aizen was already doing the canon play of giving them ranks to keep them competing against each other, making it harder for them to form alliances with each other beyond their own Fracción... but then, if we also push in the omegaverse into it- I can see such few Omegas (one being almost not an omega at all bc I can see Ulquiorra's emptiness fucking up w aspects his secondary gender too) not only affecting the Alphas, like I mentioned before, but keeping said Omegas in high tension environments. More aggressive/hostile, which would only make their necessary fights with Ichigo that much challenging and thus better and achieving the goal of driving forward Ichigo's Hollow. (And also it'd fit too with Nnoitra's sexist lil displays of aggression, attacking and injuring Nell, and then trying the same with Grimmjow).

When Ichigo doeS appear and Grimmjow becomes obsessed- it only helps along with Grimm's spiraling "out of control" and into his own destruction (not on Ichigo's watch ofc, but I can see Aizen meaning for Grimmjow to die there), that the Alphas he's constantly in competition with, start to show some disdain and judgement for it.

Maybe u wanted something more light hearted now that I think about it adsfdf 😅 but tbh I can see Espadas like Nnoitra, Szayel, Ulquiorra and Yammy (specially the two in higher ranks) to be kinda nasty- lots of "slut"-shaming and goading.

And then... if we go with 'Grimmjow actually having the hots for Ichigo' too-- oof- I can see his scent change stirring up things within the arrancar- for sort of good, bad and worst.

A competing Alpha scent all over Grimmjow (particularly after Ichigo 'marks' him with a scar) could make higer ranked Alpha Espadas to want to act on the "challenge", whether towards Grimmjow or Ichigo.

But also,,, I can see the change also helping along some of the arrancar that are not quite in with Aizen's whole thing, like Harribel, to start embracing that defiance even more. Grimmjow stops smelling like pack (like Aizen's overpowering reiatsu) and more like someone else (Ichigo's just as overpowering reiatsu) and this causes shifts along the whole little system Aizen has going on; specially with those at the top- Harribel and Starrk in particular strike me as the type who slowly start detaching from the "pack" and readjusting (if only Starrk wasn't offed when he was... I can see him choosing to quietly follow Harribel rather than wanting to lead himself u_u). Barragan and Yammy I can see as striving to take control... if only the culmmination of Aizen's plan and his defeat hadn't happened so soon after, maybe some more actual physical confrontations would've happened between the Espadas. 🤔

I can totally see these little things going mostly undetected too by Aizen simply bc shinigami don't seem perceptive to scent/ pheromones/ Hollow-specific body language, being more human themselves... although I say 'mostly' bc Ulquiorra would definitely fill Aizen in on the gossip.

HELLO HI HELLO I AM!!! RECOVERING CURRENTLY!!!!

So I haven't posted in a small moment and planned to get myself going again soon but right now I am recovering from an accident (I won't get into the nitty gritty) that has left me quite shaken. FIRST OFF I AM OKAY! Minor injuries so nothing alarming I am physically fine besides being sore for a bit and some scrapes and bruises that are still healing, including my arms which is making drawing a bit difficult. I'm slowly getting better but cant really draw for long periods and honestly I might not draw much for a bit till I feel better both physically and mentally. its the mentally part that might take some time. But I'm resting, rest assured!

ANYWAY this is more just an update cause I know i've been a lil absent. ESPECIALLY after this accident. I'm not abandoning the blog by any means, def still check on tumblr but couldn't seem to muster the energy to interact with much at the moment as my brain is a little rattled up.

I hope yall are all okay! I hope your days are bright and yall are taking care of yourselves!

My first thought when i saw this: TFP Ben 10

Given how this 👇 is Ben's canonical car:

You aren't too far off lmao (mostly on the colour at least).

You might not be particularly a fan of CNA from your sphere of headcanons, but considering that Ben can access another biomechanical species in the galvanic mechamorph, I'm sure there's enough of an Omnitrix work around to sample cybertronian data. Seeing as it's a Camaro you could probably have a TFP x Ben 10 crossover equivalent to TFA Waspinator maybe, a green Bumblebee (or a green hornet if you of/remember that) but it's Ben. Considering how the biomechanical Upgrade has a few biological translation issues to the point of not quite technically being a fully integrated transformation, maybe Ben would speak with his own voice like Upgrade does or maybe even through radio depending on how physically different cybertronians are to human anatomy.

I mean that specific line of thinking would only be possible if Ben snagged a sample of Bumblebee's CNA (or whatever you'd prefer) which could either be convoluted or unclimactic, though I guess if street racing in some part of the globe with a desert (aka somewhat nearby Bellwood which already exists cross universe between Ben 10 and Generator Rex) there could be some plot about his shenaniganery nearly running Team Ben off the road and messing with Kevin's own heavily modified yet fresh from 1979 Dodge Challenger to the irritation and anger of Kevin himself. Something something Bee got the attention of the wrong (mostly) humans(ish).

so uh. haha. with the first rewritten crime au fic up... is now a good time to mention that the au @idioddyssey and I are thinking about changing from mumscarian to purely scarian is the good crimes au? 👉👈

let me be clear: the story doesn't change if it's only scarian. mumbo will still be a part of the main trio and his role in the story isn't disrupted. he just... well, he wouldn't be holding hands romantically with grian and scar. now that isn't to say mumscarian is completely off the table for crime au. if the story ends up naturally leaning that way as stellar and I write then it happens! but we're both considering flipping it to scarian only 👉👈

Actually sorry I need to bitch and moan about this. I've been reading the san.dman (do not ever do this to yourself it's a hell unimaginable by anyone) and like... I really think it's interesting how much ga/iman is praised as super progressive on Tumblr for THIS specifically when it has so so much bad in it. About 10 issues in I started a game with how many women were in the issue who survived/were raped/nearly raped and it was insane how little women did not fit into these categories. One black woman lived and the rest were all burned alive. And he then later gave an excuse that it was bc of how Dream imprisoned Nada (16 year old African queen who fell in love with him. Its a very big mess and really sucks) in Hell so of course it influenced the entire world and so every black woman but ONE (who was introduced in the second to last issue) died and died violently. Not even to get into how it plays into the really violent misogyny that he had during the short story he wrote around the end of San.dman (when he was in his mid 30s) that was literally just one graphic rape scene to a minor after another (his snow white retelling is pretty infamous bc of how bad it is just by the summary but let me tell you that it is FAR worse to read). Like there's so so much that I think people do not discuss with his writing and it honestly just is very baffling that people hype him up given well. Everything that happens in San.dman. like the endless alone has a lot of... Well let's say interesting issues. Every single woman dream comes across wants to fuck him (to the point that at his funeral, it's 90% the women he was with/wanted to be with him and then a little from his siblings????), despairs entire character is literally just that she's depressed and coincidentally the most prominent fat character (and also naked all the time. Which they did seem to fix in the show but it's baffling how it's like her, one serial killer who nearly raped a woman before dream stops him, a guy that dies and I guess Abel if you squint for the fat rep) and then desire oh my god. I wish desire was written well instead of here's our nonbinary/gender fluid/genderless rep (cool in theory!!!) and then the fact that it (in the original series, she uses he she and it pronouns) raped a woman is dropped on your head and he is not at all regretful about it and ends up like.. taunting the victims granddaughter??? And delirium my god if there was ever a representation for born sexy yesterday and also being weird as fuck about mental illness it would be her. She's barely clothed most of the time, referred to as very very young most of the time and her mental illness (vague) is just kind of used as a joke a lot of the time? Like it's a funny joke that she doesn't remember stuff or that she's overstimulated or that she's using the wrong words or talking like a child. It's really weird because all of these characters have potential but they aren't really ever treated that way. Me when I get him for every single woman treated horribly!!!!!

Actually there is just so many Shadowheart stuff that is bugged or otherwise unavailable in the game that if Larian suddenly decided to care about that it would make the rest of the fandom complain about her getting so much content.

Oh, that's interesting, thanks for the heads-up! 💜 I just happened to be playing through that bit on my lunch break. But that's good to know in case I make any characters that wouldn't make her undress first (likelihood: deeply low, I am who I am)

I've heard there's a couple bugs with Shadowheart—complete hearsay that if you play a Selûnite, one unique kiss doesn't trigger?—and the supposedly recently added "Act 2 banter" when romancing her has literally never triggered for me either. Dunno what else is bugged, but it's unfortunate either way. I hope it all eventually gets fixed, though.

Tbh, I think there's other companions that need more/fleshed out stuff (especially Wyll, give the man a fuller sex scene and let him address the PC differently during a romance...) but I take most of the people getting really worked up about other characters getting "more" than their faves with a grain of salt. There's far too often some level of misunderstanding going on, like when people thought that the Valentine's Update was only about kisses.

Sometimes I wish I could drive home just how little of Chinese fandom culture actually makes it onto Tumblr at all, much less circulates in western Tumblr circles, and I've finally got a solid example.

On this list I reblogged a not long ago, Poyun, which I started reading on Bilibili the other day, has the 93rd most popular ship on all of Lofter, with over 15,000 posts. By comparison, the 93rd most popular ship of that same year (2020) on Tumblr was from Haikyuu, and from 2021 the 93rd most popular was from Miraculous Lady Bug - which is to say, even if you're not into, it's a fandom you've almost certainly heard of if you move in fandom circles at all. Like, those are two fandoms with known, huge followings. Likewise, Yan Xie/Jiang Ting is a big deal ship on Lofter.

I started reading the manhua a few days ago, so I know I'm gonna be posting some of the manhua art to @cnovelartreblogs so I was like, I should check the main tags and queue the art (even if it means I might be exposed to spoilers), and then I won't accidentally duplicate other people's art posting efforts or anything.

Now, granted, I've seen some evidence that tag search is more broken than usual the last few days, but even so...
