God, this is horrible...

It's always like this when it comes to them, it's like their water and oil, fire and ice, the moon and sun. They're constantly bickering and fighting, always pulling each others' hair, and there's never a moment where they're not insulting the other. For some odd, reason, which you don't know, they just hate each other.

No matter how many times you've tried getting them to settle this drawn-out dispute, they never solve it. If anything, it makes it worse. It causes them to just argue more and turn to you as the judge, making you choose between the two.

Now, you're stuck in this shitty situation, having to choose between two of your friends. Lovesick!Friend has always been there for you, sticking by your sick through thick and thin, comforting you when you got dumped, and helping you study when you were struggling in math. Lovesick!Friend is a little awkward, but she means well. She can't help if she's a little anti-social, if anything, it's endearing to you.

While, on the other hand, Lovesick!Bimbo has been nothing but a sweetheart, always introducing you to new people, though you suspect they're her ex-hookups. She's always helping you with your make-up, picking outfits, and being a funny companion. Lovesick!Bimbo, though she's an airhead, has a heart of gold and she'll never pass an opportunity to comfort you. She's always hugging your arm, kissing you on the cheek, and providing that feminine comfort.

But now they're putting you in this situation, having to choose between the two. That's the hard thing, you can't. You really can't imagine your life without either one of them. They're both great friends to you and it'd be pretty depressing if you had a fallout with one of them. And the situation hasn't lightened up; it's gotten worse. It's starting to become too big of a problem, one that you can't brush under the rug.

It's escalated to where they're "breaking" into your apartment, and you use that term loosely. As the two aren't even sneaky about it! They both just waltz into your home like they own the place! And all you get in return is a, calm down, I just want to spend more time with you, y'know? I mean, with finals week and all... or a, Come on, babesss!! We're, like, so close! There's no point in trying to get away from me!!

Both trying to spend more time with you. Though, when you think about it, you're not too sure how they got your keys 'cause you sure as hell didn't give it to them...

But that's beside the point, it's getting really irritating for you. You'll be coming home from a tiring day of work, only for you to find LoveSick!Bimbo asleep on your bed or rummaging through your clothes, which you're not too sure on what she's looking for. Or you'll find LoveSick!Friend cooking dinner in your kitchen. Once you even walked into the two having a full-on fistfight in your living room!!

And these little incidents lead to moments like this: where you're pressed between the two, stuck in a drawn-out cuddle session.

LoveSick!Bimbo had just stopped by, wanting to drop off some cupcakes for your mama, who was stuck in the hospital after surgery. Such a sweet girl she is, doing such a kind thing for you, though her excitement was cut short after seeing you and LoveSick!Friend lying on the couch. The two of you were far too close for her liking. Baby!!! What are you doing, cuddling without meee! Why are you abandoning me like thiss-!

LoveSick!Bimbo then threw a hissy fit. She stomped her sparkly heels and pursed her pretty lips, you could even see tears swell in her eyes. She set the cupcakes on the counter and ran over to the two of you. She pushed past LoveSick!Friend and squeezed herself between the two of you. She wrapped her arms around your waist, tucking her face into your neck, and holding you against her chest like her life depended on it. Of course, LoveSick!Friend wasn't having it. She tried pulling the girl off of you but to no avail. God dammit, you prick, get off of her!! You're gonna kill her!

LoveSick!Bimbo just held on tighter. She pressed herself against you, not wanting to let go. Not even noticing how her tits were right in your face, causing your mind to go fuzzy and face to flush. She even made a smug comment about how you shouldn't be afraid, babes, you can touch 'em if ya' want ;)

LoveSick!Friend scoffed, pushing against LoveSick!Bimbo's face, trying to push her off the two of you. She tried situating herself so that she was closer to you than LoveSick!Bimbo, but the other was stubborn, not wanting to let you up. The two proceeded to have a mini tug-of-war, with you being the prize. The girls shifted positions and moved you around, not seeming to care if they were groping you too much, until they came to an agreed position.

You were stuck between the two girls, lying on LoveSick!Friend, with LoveSick!Bimo pressed against your chest. LoveSick!Friend had her hands playing with your hair, giving you a free massage, while LoveSick!Bimbo was practically groping your boobs. Her face snug in your cleavage, your arms wrapped around your hips, foundling with your love handles. All the while, LoveSick!Friend pressed her face in the crook of your neck, pressing kisses on the junction of your neck and shoulder. You could feel her bouncy curls tickle your skin, causing you to squirm.

All this was too much, you were feeling too much in too little time. It was all overwhelming, having two, very attractive, girls cuddle up to you. And it feels wrong, feeling this way, seeing as they're your friends. But one can't control their heart...right?

It felt awkward; you really didn't know what to do, so you just wrapped your arms around LoveSick!Bimbo's shoulders, bringing her body closer to yours. This only caused LoveSick!Bimbo to squeal, tightening her grip on you and whispering small praises about how you're so frickin' cute! I could just eat ya' up! Love ya' and 'ur sweet curves! EEK-!

Only for LoveSick!Friend to grumble and tell LoveSick!Bimbo to shut it with the squealing, you're hurting her ears, you dimwit.

You could only chuckle at the scene. The constant bickering was growing on you, maybe this isn't too bad...

mike's original design was made very very hastily during the first few hours of rrfd being conceived and I've been unhappy with it for a while, but I'm weird about redesigning my ocs so I've just been sitting with it. but we've been revamping some stuff about the story lately and Kaden also got redesigned so I decided to just bite the bullet and overhaul him too, and i'm really really happy with the result!!!

michael is a character that's very very special to me and it's important to me that his design reflects who he is accurately.

his original design had very little going on which. doesn't fit very well considering he's my most developed and thought out oc. i wanted to give him more markings, colors that looked nicer together, and just. generally a better design. i also wanted to separate him more from the design he was initially based on (which was emote, yeah ill say it, i havent exactly been making much effort to hide it lmao. kinda obvious if you know who emote is). and most importantly i wanted it to actually have some thought put into it, because i didnt give myself Time to really think about his original design while making it. so there's some symbolism going on here too.

rrfd has long since evolved way past the thing it was originally based on (though the original story will always be very very special to me as well), both in terms of the main story and the world we've been crafting for it, and im really proud of how far its come. its been an absolute joy working with these characters the past few years and i am so excited to enter this sort of new era for them !!! these silly guys are so important to me!!!

There was no denying that Wilbur was happy. 

After almost a year, he was finally happy. 

Meeting Kate was what Wilbur could call a damn miracle. After your relationship ended in shambles last October, of which he won’t go into detail, mostly because it was still a painful memory, he was happy to have Kate in his life, and so were all of his friends. He’d been so downtrodden for so long, and even if he showed his fans the happier side of him, and even his friends when he’d first met them, he hadn’t been able to truly feel it until he met her. 

It was by pure happenstance, really, and he could say that he owed it all to you (he couldn’t, though, at least not out loud. Not to anyone he knew.) Because if it weren’t for you, and the months he spent wallowing until your voice, echoing in the back of his mind, telling him that painting was a good way to get your feelings out, he never would’ve gone to the University’s painting program, and he never would’ve met Kate. 

Of course, just his luck, though, when his and Kate’s relationship was just beginning, he went to Germany with some friends and got stuck there during the lockdown. When he was finally able to get home, his apartment felt too empty. So, he spent almost every waking hour either streaming or on the phone with Kate. It worked well enough, until she was able to see him in person sometime in the summer. 

From there, things just… took off. His and Kate’s relationship kept growing, he got even more popular on Twitch, he was chatting with his friends all the time, and no one knew about Kate. Well, his friends did, but his audience didn’t. A lot of his fans were recent, but a big chunk of them had been around when you were still with him. And even if he didn’t publicly say anything when you’d broken up, a lot of his fans could sense what happened. Confirming it with a new relationship announcement just felt ingenuine to him. 

So, Kate was never mentioned on stream. She knew what Wilbur did, and eventually who he and his friends were, but she never quite cared for it. In fact, despite all her smiles, Wilbur could still see that small part of her that wasn’t too supportive of what he did, even if it kept them warm and fed. And he could still remember the judgement when he revealed his work to her. And he could still remember the argument that took place when he admitted that he almost dropped out of university for it. And the flashbacks to the one he had with you. 

Because somehow, even after so long, he could still see you in everything Kate did, and he hated himself for it. Because he should be focused on making memories with her, on building a life with her, not with all the things you and him did when you were together. But it was all he could see. Sure, in the beginning of the relationship his nerves were too busy blocking his mind with anxiety and excitement, and he didn’t have time to see anything but Kate and the prospects of a new relationship, but since it subsided, he couldn’t help it.

It started little by little. At first, he had made a joke on one of the dates he had taken her on after getting back from Germany and the restrictions had allowed it, and her laughter sent his mind reeling back to 2018, when you laughed at a movie scene while wrapped up in his arms on his couch. And then, when Kate slept over for the first time and he noticed that, even if she had been dyeing it any colour she could think of once a month, her hair still fell in the same way yours did when you leaned on your arms in bed. 

Little by little, from the way you both took your tea the same, to the fact that you both hated pickles on burgers, he noticed it. Kate may have made him feel like himself again, but she was still a lot like you. It was almost like an echo. The remnants of your presence, reflected in some warbled, almost-but-not-quite tone, bouncing back to him in the form of her. 

And with every reminder, Wilbur continued to hurt. Even if it was his fault you were gone, and he was the one that decided he didn’t deserve you, every reminder left a mark on his heart in the shape of you. He truly did like Kate, and those feelings grew with every passing day, but you’d been with him for so long he couldn’t forget you. It was like he couldn’t scrub your touch from his skin, your scent from his clothes, your smile from behind his eyelids. 

Slowly, day by day, though, it seemed that Kate was taking over. Your smile would flash between images of hers, and he began to differentiate your touch from hers, but the smell of your perfume; he knew there was no getting rid of it. 

He remembered when it happened, her finding your old perfume bottle. The smell had been lingering in his closet, some of it still imprinted on the clothes he hadn’t worn in a while. Kate had pulled one of his sweaters from the depths of the closet, a sweater he remembered last being worn by you. It almost covered Kate’s sleep shorts, swallowing her whole. He remembered she had remarked about the smell, but didn’t say anything specific. She knew the gist of what happened with you, and was kind enough to not bring it up often. Still, she had begun wandering Wilbur’s room, inspecting every aspect of it that she could get her hands on. It was her way of getting to know Wilbur without really asking him anything. He remembered hearing the clinking of the various cologne bottles on his dresser, and hearing her murmur the name of your perfume. 

With a single, curious puff, the smell engulfed the room, and Wilbur had to force himself to stay in the present. To not pretend that Kate was you, that you were still in his life, and that you were about to crawl into bed with him and curl up into his arms like you always used to. 

The scent still permeates every aspect of his life. 

Every hug, every nose nestled into the crook of Kate’s neck, every time he passed by her in the kitchen. How was Wilbur meant to forget you when she provided a constant reminder for him with every waking moment?

And every time he thought something like that, the guilt came rushing back. Because to Wilbur, he had no one to blame but himself. He should’ve thrown that bottle of perfume out the moment his mind made itself up on moving on, he should’ve looked for someone entirely different to you. But had he really moved on? Was he just trying to replicate a relationship so perfect that it didn’t seem real? Or did he really like Kate, his mind trying to trick him back into being alone, into ruining something good for himself again?

Sometimes, though, he wondered if Kate could see it. The fact that, occasionally, he’d linger too long or breath too deeply during a hug. Or how sometimes, if the strike on his heart when he heard her laugh was more painful, he wouldn’t smile with as much meaning. He wondered if she saw it all, the longing, the mourning, the pain, and simply didn’t bring it up. And if she did, and didn’t say anything, he didn’t know if it was to spare him from the pain of reliving it, or to spare herself from the pain of confirming what no one wants to hear from their partner. 

No matter how much he thought about it, though, Wilbur refused to voice it. Because he was worried that some part of him was right, that he was just trying to fill the hole in his heart that was shaped like you with Kate, and all he wanted was for it to not be true. 

So, for now, he’d continue like he had been, acting like Kate didn’t remind him of you, until one day, someday, she wouldn’t feel like the echo he’s been longing to keep around.

yeah, I just ended read "a glitch in time" and, wow, this was so good, I'm really impressed and just love it. It's just the best continue for the show that I can imagine at all. Characters had the great development, especially Danny and Vlad. I'm glad to see than after "the good ending" Danny understood that he never did what he want, he just did. And I'm happy he understood himself. Its just the perfect development for him in my opinion. And Vlad, god, he was so cool and funny in this comic, i love him, and he got that he needs a therapy hehe. And the historic designes were cool, yknow, maybe I'll draw some in one day, when I ended with my big art with my ocs.

and I'm really surprised that authors essentially erased the ending of series. It's just funny to me idk why but I like it

oh, and the past-title scene was cool and I'm excited to see more content about parental Vlad and Dan in new body. And I really like his fan name Van

Generally speaking, Buck's the neat freak of the two - Davey isn't exactly a mess by any means, but he's pretty laid-back about stuff, whereas Buck likes things A Certain Way and spends a lot of his free time on chores and tidying stuff up. (It's exactly the opposite in their workspace, though. Davey's Actually Professionally Trained and tends to try and keep tools and supplies properly cared for and sorted and such, and their tech and whatnot maintained as professionally as he can manage, whereas Buck is full. yeah yeah just slap some duct tape on that bad boy. put another fan down there to deal with that thing that keeps spewing smoke. it's fine. don't be a baby about it)

Davey's big on just putting something on TV or playing video games to unwind, as is Minnie. Buck kind of does the same, but he's more about just kind of sitting back and having something making noise in the background vs. actively watching or doing something, if that makes sense. Minnie also enjoys doing some reading (as does Buck on occasion, but to a much lesser extent, and not usually after he's been working and is already exhausted), and Davey will occasionally take a jog to wind down if he's got the energy to spare. (Buck and Davey are also big on some good ol' fashioned post-work Casual Physical Affection, but less so now that Minnie's living with them. They Will Not Be Making Out In Front Of Their Niece Actually)

Buck, despite complaining, actually generally likes most if not all chores. He likes getting his living spaces Clean and In Order! Davey and Minnie, by contrast, are pretty ambivalent at best to chores - I don't think there's any they'd say they "like." (Secretly Minnie's come to enjoy helping to keep the workshop clean, though.)

Buck. One Hundred Percent Buck. Davey and Minnie Do Not Understand but like Davey at least is happy his boyfriend's happy.

They all have their weaknesses for this, with asterisks - Minnie's both an impulsive shithead 13 year old and actually Very Recently comes from a background where she Could just kind of buy whatever without consequences, so in that respect she's the most likely. Davey, meanwhile, likes little useless trinkets and such and can be a little bit driven by impulse on occasion, but 1) he's a reasonable adult who has learned, sometimes the hard way, that he doesn't need and shouldn't have everything that briefly strikes his fancy, and 2) if he decides he wants it anyway he's a supervillain he's just gonna steal it. he don't have money lmao. Buck is the least likely EXCEPT that he's very susceptible to like... dark pattern type marketing-slash-game things? What I'm trying to say is Buck spent a lot of money on Cookie Run until Davey got it off his phone and password locked the app store

Davey collects video games! especially older ones he played growing up. He's also got a soft spot for weird old technology in general, but doesn't actively seek it out so much, though occasionally Buck or someone like the Junkyard Queens'll gift him something they find along those lines. Speaking of I guess technically Buck collects junk and scrap and such to tinker with. Like i Guess that counts

nobody rlly knows ares's situation w his mom cause he just like .... doesn't like to talk abt it, but any sort of news (good or bad) involving her would make him emotional enough to cry. frustrated or happy tears :,(

there is a sort of trifecta between genevieve, inesa, and silver (which i'm excited to show hehe) but they all have a similar sort of stance. gene's and silv's aren't as extreme as inesa's is because they don't have her gigantic ego. but in gene's case, she's a hard worker, and she may have her own insecurities but if the situation presented itself she would Never back down from a challenge. she sticks to her goals and beliefs very heavily, which is why shion is a very inspiring person to her, but she'd never just lie down and give up (even if she wanted to lol.)

this is Bri! the excitable youngest member of this little group! she loves coffee rolls, vocaloid, animals, new people, and girls!! shes a clueless little sapphic and allie's younger sister! no matter what, if you meet her, she'll greet you with a wave and a smile! (she won't like it if you use her full first name, Brianna, since in her own words, "the only people who use it are fancy adults, teachers, and my big sis when i'm in trouble!'') she's very playful and childish, and a pacifist due to a promise with her older sister! closest character to her is DW!Aubrey and her voice claim is Homaru Naegi from Danganronpa: Ultra Despair Girls!

speaking of her, this is Allison/Allie! she’s the older sister of her friend group, quite literally! also the only adult, she tries her best to keep everything balanced with the chaos. while she used to do magic shows for fun, she stopped once she became a adult. though, she still wears her mini top hat and keeps her wand, just for fun. she’s also the most popular in her friend group, because of her charm and looks! Her voice claim is Monika from DDLC and she's also the character most like Allie personality-wise!

third, there's Miley! he's quite standoffish and rude, attempting to be distant. he doesn't trust people easily, but if you bring up a topic he likes he will ramble before realizing that he didn't mean to and stop. if you do become friends, though, he's very protective. him and Bri are the closest of the group, besides Bri and Allie since they're sisters. He curses a lot, and argues with Lavender somewhat. His voice is Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu from Danganronpa 2 and he's most like a mix of Fuuta Kajayama and Es from MILGRAM.

and last but not least, Lavender or Lav! she’s the second older of her friend group, only being passed by Allie. a bit more anxious and shy than most, she still tries her best to treat everyone with kind words along with snacks and drinks! she can be nonverbal when she becomes too anxious or overwhelmed, so she always carries a notepad and pencil in her basket, often along with flowers from the woods behind her house. with her almost always full picnic basket, she’s always happy for more people to comfort! she also refuses to curse, annoying Miley to no end. she's most like Mari from Omori and has no voice claim as of yet.

all of them have semi-dyed hair besides Bri due to a group tradition! (slight purple for Allie, mostly orange for Miley <blonde underneath> and fully pastel purple for Lavender <redheaded underneath>)

if you're wondering about Rini? he's a persona of mine as opposed to a oc, but here's how he looks if you're curious.

his pupils are heart monitors and are often white to show his own heartbeat. the colors change based on who he is watching. (dark purple for allie, yellow for bri, orange for miley, light purple for lavender) his watch is due to him basically being the only one who really knows the outside time. no voice claim for him at this time. ^^

Okay so everyone is aware that Solo Leveling is getting both game and animated series adaptations, right? I'm genuinely happy abt it since we're all getting fed but I'm also very anxious abt the fandom.

I actually don't interact with the fandom that much. There's really only one person in my inbox who is making my tumblr feed chaos((sideeyes but dont stop pls/gen dont ur the only one i talk to in this fandom)). Because genuinely, I'm scared of other fans since I'm a Jinwoo Yumejoshi (Girl who self ships/ships ocs //i fall more into oc x canon part// with canon characters) and it scares me to get jumped on since i'm aware he's canonically married man and a father WhEEZE.

While nothing can justify that I hope people remember it's still just fiction and if they don't want to see it they should just hit the block button.

Yume-ing is a way of comfort. And I know there's gonna be a trend of Jinwoo Yumes in the future because it happens in every fandom and I just genuinely hope the upcoming new fans be respectful of those ppl((press x to doubt this is the internet after all whEEzE)).

I'm both excited and scared of Solo Leveling becoming one of the mainstream fandoms. I just hope it has more healthy than toxic since toxicity is a thing that always comes in every fandom.

You know, Kind Anonymous Friend, I'm only four episodes in right now, so I know I have some catching up to do, but so far it's really, really good. I read the novel in high school after buying it from a sale at the Library, and watched at least part of the original TV adaptation, so when I heard they were re-making it I was really excited. I'd forgotten it was coming out soon, to be completely honest, so I only picked it up when I went to go look and see what was new on Hulu.

As for why more HBO war people aren't watching it - I don't know! I know we joke about Band of Brothers being a show you watch with your dad - Shōgun is actually exactly the kind of show I would watch with my father. He was (and is!) very into martial arts films and eastern philosophy and that's probably why I picked the book up in the first place.

It is a different period, and a very different style of war, and leadership, and what it means to be a warrior - and that's not a bad thing! I think the culture clash John Blackthorne is experiencing on the daily is funny.

Why the HBO War People will like it: 17th century war and discussion of samurai warrior codes and ethics

Why the Period Drama People will like it: stunning costumes, enough pining to fill a small forest, longing and charged glances across rooms, court intrigue
