He’s a big guy so he’s sure to provide warmth

zoro doesn’t get your need to help others and being so kind to people

or how helping others makes you happy

but zoro is emotionally strong—maybe not intelligent but strong

so he knows when to draw the line for you if your accidentally being overly helpful

or if your tiring yourself out/overextending yourself

he brings a sense of balance to you in that aspect

the fact that he can do that for you is comforting and makes you feel protected

which Zoro is protective of you because of how naive you are

Zoro is very wary of strangers for you

your too sweet and assume that person is just having a bad day or that’s they’re natural face

but behind you is your big scary dog (zoro) who is glaring daggers at the person he knows actually has an evil intent towards you

Zoro is there most of the time so he doesn’t let people take advantage of you

but the times he isn’t around?

once he finds out he gonna slice that person into dice and make them return whatever they had you get them, etc

he doesn’t it like it at all and can immediately tell when someone is trying to get over on you

After the situation is handled he drags you away (getting you two lost) and says

“Seriously! You needa be more careful y/n!”

he doesn’t really notice how down you are for a while

until he turns around to ask you something and you sorta have this sad puppy look on your face

he’s not gentle about it or anything but he does care

when you tell him it’s because your sad that everyone your kind to betrays you his protectiveness heightens

but you heard and immediately perked up

You’re a really good outlet for Diluc to step out of his comfort zone. Normally, he’s withdrawn from the public eye as much as possible. At parties, he’s the kind of guy to drink alone (he brought his own grape juice), quietly in a dark corner. So who better to break him out of his shell than the prettiest and most jubilant person he’s ever met? He’s a fool for you, doing anything you want as long as you ask him nicely (hell, you don’t even have to ask nicely. But you always do), so there’s no social boundary of his he won’t extend if it means bringing a smile to your lovely face. You drag him out into the middle of the city square during a festival to dance, every citizen watching in shock as the notoriously foreboding wine tycoon dances with his darling, fervor in his step, twirling and lifting her as she giggles merrily. Epics can be written about how the airy woman stokes flame from the coal heart of the cold, powerful man—bringing fire to his heart once again. Venti’s already on it. Before Diluc mows him down, you chime in with cheer for such a song to be written about you and your lover! Guess it’s out of said lover’s hands.

You bring life to Kaeya’s cold heart. Sure, Kaeya puts on a sly smile for others—he masks as smooth and sly and charismatic. But deep down, we know he’s in a lot of pain. The pain eats him up inside—somedays it’s stronger than others, but ever day, he carries it’s weight. But when you step into his life? Things change for him. When he first met you, he found your bubbliness very cute, but he didn’t expect it to be so disarming. No matter what someone says, that gracious smile never leaves your features—you’re endlessly open and kind, incapable of judgement or rejection. Your smile and perpetually giving heart, your ability to light up a room with your jokes and energy, feels like stepping into a warm restaurant on a cold winters night. He finds himself smiling fully with you, expressing himself in ways he never thought he could, and most of all, he feels a deep and honest connection to another person. He doesn’t drink as much as he used to, either. When he would once hop from one bar to the other, getting cut off by multiple bartenders in one night until he blacks out and finds himself passed out on the cold cobblestone of the town square, he now…can’t find it within himself to inebriate himself to that point anymore. Or even at all. He’ll take a few sips of his drink, but ultimately doesn’t want to miss a single word you say, or a single pretty giggle from your mouth. Most of all, he doesn’t want to worry you. He never wants to be the reason you frown. You make consciousness bearable. No, more than bearable. You make it…healing. So when you ask for his heart, he gives it to you without question or hesitation. He’ll give you anything in the world as long as it keeps your life happy. And he’s honored that you’d want to have him in it.

Xiao doesn’t know how to handle you. One day, you met him on the terrace of the Wangshu Inn, a dopey surprised expression on your features, and it feels like you haven’t left since. Or at least, you haven’t left his mind since. He’s never experienced attraction or closeness to another person, but he found your pure soul and liveliness…impelling. At first, he decided this feeling was just an urge to protect you—to defend a creature that brings so much joy to others. But after you kept coming back, kept chatting at him despite his stoic silence and discomforted face, kept bumping shoulders with him, ignoring his warnings about his karmic debt, kept…smiling at him, kept calling an elated feeling to rise in his chest, making his once still heart thunder like it never has before—he knew it had to be something else. You were just so uppity and lovely, he couldn’t resist you anymore. So, despite all of the warning bells in his head screaming at him not to, he told you, “I…want to be close to you…always.”. That was definitely a confession if you’ve ever heard one! So of course you threw your arms around him and kissed his cheek in joy. He gripped one hand onto the wrist holding his face and stabilized you with a hand on your waist, brain short-circuiting and blushing so hard steam shot out of his ears. The urge to run was so strong it made his hands shake, but the desire to be near you, to soak up all of the love you were willingly spilling onto him, was beyond overpowering. He was yours. Despite himself, he was yours. And he couldn’t be happier.

Zhongli finds your bubbliness endearing. You’re like a bunny rabbit—hopping from one person to the next, inciting joy wherever you go, never losing your energy. When you first met him, he found it slightly strange that a person could wear such a big smile in a funeral parlor. Of course, his boss could, but she had more than a few screws loose. But…it really didn’t seem like you did, from his initial investigation. You were just…endlessly happy. Which was a lovely sight to see. In his 5000 years of life, he’s never met a person so full of heart and delight. Your jubilant nature was something he adored about you; he found himself wanting to watch you everywhere you went, listen to every conversation you had, because you were just so enrapturing! Every time you found him and started excitedly chattering about your day or your new favorite thing or a person you met, he would hum happily and rest a cheek on his propped-up hand. He had a habit of looking at you like you were the most delicious thing in the world—like a lion to your bunny-like nature. This look of his, reserved only for you, sometimes caught you off guard, taking you out of your joyful musings, making your cheeks turn pink and eyes go slightly wide. He couldn’t help it! Your spirit was satiating to his old soul. And he also couldn’t help but enjoy your sweet and delicate features—he was a man, after all. He’d often invite you to have tea or dinner with him, just so he could close his eyes and listen to the bell-like ringing of your voice; but he was thoroughly surprised when, after a nice dinner by the harbor and a sweet goodnight, you placed a soft kiss on his lips. Oh. she believed this was a date. And…she seemed to enjoy it!, he thought with a composed smile. Happy to bring you such a lovely feeling, a feeling like those you graciously share with him every day—and pleasantly surprised to know you found him as alluring as he found you. So he brought you back into him, placing an even more fervent kiss to your lips—making you squeak, startled, but immediately return his fervor. Looks like the the lively bunny rabbit has caught the lion! And to his rapture, she was never going to let him go ♡

Sanon back. White Beard Buggy has 10k words(I'm not sorry, yes you'll get links when they are posted I promise)

White Beard Buggy also became the explosives expert at 11. White Beard has photos in his office of his kids achievements so when Shanks pulls up at 32 ready to start alliance negotiations he's already planning to steal Buggy back he sees the photos of how Buggy absolutely flourished under Roger's rival and White Beard explains it's because Buggy has over sensitive observation haki and his former crew didn't recognize it. Buggy is never present for the meetings even though he's the combat commander.

When Ace joins he thinks Marco and Buggy are dating, they're not. They're just each other's favorites so of course they're touchy. Also Marco keeps setting Buggy on fire with his fruit. Ace is genuinely concerned because of his fruit, everyone assures him it's fine as 15 commanders form a pile to sleep. Everyone also assures Ace this is fine and normal since they all grew up together.

Marineford everyone is there, the former Roger Pirates, Redhair Pirates, Luffy, White Beard and his entire fleet, Impel Down escapees. When Akainu throws his lava punch that's supposed to kill Ace and Luffy, Buggy throws himself in the way of the punch and he only just survives because of his fruit but he's got a foot in both worlds.

When they all meet on an island a couple days later Rayleigh is laying into White Beard for not telling them. Shanks is in the medical tent holding Luffy and talking to Ace as Marco is sleeping with his head on Buggy's legs and healing the guy with his fire. Even Shanks thinks their dating and Ace has to go "they're not, this is just how they always are. He sets Buggy on fire every time they see each other, I have joined the sleep piles. The love of your life runs colder than the North Pole."

Shanks without hesitation as Crocus, Rayleigh, and White Beard comes in "South Pole is colder." Buggy hearing this mumbles "North Pole idiot" and White Beard laughs so hard he shakes Marco awake. When Buggy is better, after having everyone under the sun lay into him for taking that hit or not disclosing his fruit and how powerful he is. Ace and Marco do not let him out of their sight as they set off with Shanks and Luffy to make sure his crew is okay.

Shanks excitedly listens to all of Buggy's stories of being the third commander(moving to first when he and Marco go back so that Marco can take over as Captain) and he shows them some of his safer bombs. Luffy is like "wow shanks you're so in love" and Marco just yells that he called it. As Buggy rolls his eyes and holds Shanks' hand because maybe he's a little in love with the Redhaired idiot, maybe.

I'd love to imagine teen Ace being so nervous that he can't control the fire always but then the rest of the crew is so accepting and they act like it's no big deal and it just gives him the air of confidence.

Which reminds me of the bizarre fact that Ace and Buggy IN CANON became friends so easily and effortlessly. Oh, I want to see those two being silly together so bad ;-;

UGH YES! BUGGY TO THE RESCUE! I just want Ace to live, you know? And Buggy may be a bit of a coward, but I think once he's gotten into the Whitebeard pirates and felt the welcome feeling of feeling at home and in his place, he'd do anything for them.

What's a bonus to the "Marco and Buggy" allegations, I think that Buggy is a very touch-starved person in general. So when he finds people he feels comfortable with it feels natural to convey their bond with physical touch.

Shanks being jealous of Marco is so peak to me. He's childish and gets jealous easily, enough so, that he has his nephew - Ace, explain it to him. He's still suspicious of it all but learns that, yes, Buggy just grew up to be more comfortable around people. Yet another side of him that Shanks learns to love...

i think truly the most absurd parenting scenario we could put sanji in is with Real Pirate King Buggy 🦅🦅🦅🦅

Sanji would really suit that like. commedia dell’arte venetian theatre. Sanji would make a fine Arlecchino or Tartaglia (both lover roles, but Arlecchino or ‘the Harlequin’ is often a trickster character too)

Buggy would unironically be an incredible father tho. like. i am fully confident that there is nothing Buggy doesn’t excell in despite his pathetic soppy wet cat existence. He’s a COMPETENT soppy wet cat.

Sanji growing up as an acrobat in Buggy’s circus and getting doted on by all the crew oh ya know he’d love the dramatic flamboyance of it all.

Listen, you're cooking. And it smells GREAT! But I think we need to adjust the seasoning a bit. Buggy managed to successfully hide in the East Blue and be forgotten from Roger's crew and all his adversaries. Like Buggy has to be running a network of some sort. He probably has informants in the New World ya know? For sure in the Grand Line.

I don't really fuck with Shuggy ATM(crossguild brain rot) but like also Buggy probably knows about Usopp and Luffy and that's part of why he signed the(forged) adoption papers. Sanji is also probably skilled with all sorts of weapons? His kitchen knives are not weapons but like he has a set of knives that are always hidden on him. He probably shows Usopp a bunch of spices and stuff that are good for bombs and Nami and Robin are confused about exactly how much in universe Shakespeare, albeit Robin is impressed. Luffy just knows but imagine Zoro finds out when the cook, who doesn't fight with his hands just swallows a Marines sword to distract them right before Luffy Gum Gum Pistols them.

Rayleigh talks more about Shanks and Sanji is just looking at his nails and briefly brings up Buggy. And Sanji can't help himself when he says "at least he's not a dead beat, he didn't abandon me" which makes Robin laugh and Luffy and Usopp ask what means and Sanji is like "you both haven't seen the Redhair crew since you were in the single digits, Buggy saw me at Baratie three weeks before you lot wrecked it and he would stop by every couple of weeks normally" And the crew is shook.

Like then Sanji just proudly showing everyone his photo of the Buggy Pirates, him, and Buggy in the adoption office and then again with just Buggy and Sanji and the paper and the jolly Roger. Rayleigh is having heart palpitations as Nami, Luffy, and Zoro scream at how lame his dad is and Sanji is like "oh you guys are the reason he's in Impel Down this makes sense" and Rayleigh is losing it. Shakky is laughing so hard. Rayleigh asks if anyone is planning to get Buggy out of prison and Sanji shrugs and says the lion is in charge now.

And then after the time skip to the forming of the crossguild everyone keeps shitting on. Like imagine Mihawk and Croc walking into Buggy's tent and seeing Black Leg Sanji as a child in full clown get up sitting on his own head in a photo and next to it is the adoption photo. When they ask Buggy about it hes just like "oh yeah, I adopted him at ten. Saw him all the time after he started at Baratie. Unfortunate he's not out of his civilian phase yet." And Croc and Mihawk are reeling. "Then again I think having to relive his trauma in Germa and with Big Mom probably didn't help, oh well. I'll talk to him about it when I see him."

When they see each other is some meeting between the Hats, the Guild and Redhair Pirates Luffy and Usopp are really happy to see their dad's. Sanji is probably being passed around by Buggy's crew and petting Richie who has him pinned to the ground and Crocodile is groaning that the clown's kid did the whole Mr. Prince thing and Shanks is confused because "you didn't tell me you had a brat?"

"well I legally adopted him eleven years ago and when Garp found out he said I was a better dad than you and Roger and Rayleigh so."

Shortly before the gates of Tanata you slowly realize what awaits you at home.

What will you say to Grandpa? How will he react?

Grandfather is a good man, but he isn't as friendly towards strangers as he used to be... Understandably. You clench your fists. It's been almost ten years but since you saw that symbol on the ship, all the memories come flooding back. You hold your arm and press lightly into your skin.

The gate opens slowly. The doors, just as high as the walls, shake the ground and a beautiful picture slowly emerges in front of the strangers.

A great old city in the distance, as magnificent as described in stories - stories of forgotten worlds. You all pass through the gate and guards greet you.

“I greet you, Your Holiness and Commander Zelos.” One of the guards greets and everyone bows slightly. When everyone has entered the ground of Tanata, the massive stone gate closes with a dull sound. Zelos lets his soldiers go home and follows you as an escort. Down the paved path, past the rivers and meadows, you arrive in the city after a short walk.

The guests look around in amazement. The pirates feel like they are in a fairy tale. Charming alleys and well preserved buildings covered with beautiful plants give the historic city a romantic appearance. You all hurry through the less visited streets on the outskirts of town. You move as close as possible and just as you're about to turn the corner you hear people laughing and talking. You stop abruptly and hold your hand up; those behind you also stop. A few people stumble over their own feet or the person in front of them. You don't notice it, but Law, who is right behind you, is having a hard time not falling into you because Sachi and Penguin have slammed into him. You carefully look around the edge of the wall and watch two women drawing water from a small well. You all listen to the women talk about the celebration and how they imagine themselves watching the ceremony with their crush. You're happy because everyone is always so carefree. Near the plaza you'll see a few people closing their shops, some meeting up with their loved ones, and they're all probably going to the festival. The people on the streets are dressed simply yet elegantly. “(y/n)? Why do they all look so similar when it comes to clothing?” Nami comes from behind you, with quick steps. She looks curiously at the clothes of the townspeople.

“Today is a day of remembrance in honor of Heraia.” You look into the crowd yourself from the shadows of the alleys. To you, they look the same as usual... of course, many are wearing their best jewelry and their whitest clothes, but their clothing is not that different from their everyday style. Some of them wear simple tunics and use jewelry. Others, on the other hand, prefer more ornate fabrics with gold accents and some also have elegantly embroidered capes. The women like to wear a veil or bracelets with sleeves like you are wearing. While the men, with a well built chest, like to just wear the pleated skirt with maybe a cape. But it's definitely very exciting for outsiders, you think to yourself and giggle. Your father and his friends were also dressed completely differently than your people.

“It’s nice how everyone follows tradition.” She says dreamily. “Do you have any customs or something similar for the day?” She asks you. You're happy about her interest but wince a little when she asks "Oh yeah, definitely. We’ll even have a ceremony early in the evening.” Nami’s right eyebrow goes up at your suspicious laugh. “A ceremony, yes?” she teases. You puff out and admit, “Yup, a ceremony that I’m late for.” – “Again.” Adds your uncle, who came out of nowhere. You boldly stick your tongue out at him. Dumbass.

“Commander, I believe your presence at the festival is necessary. Tell the king I'll be there in time for the speech to begin. I'll take care of the rest and heal the boy and come right away." - "Do you promise?" One of his hands on each of your shoulders "Promise." He's not entirely sure if you'll actually be on time, but that's the minor problem at the moment anyway.

You're almost at the palace. You only have to climb what feels like a thousand stairs because the royal palace is on a hill. Even from below, the columns look so huge and massive. From up there you have a breathtaking view over the city. At first you don't even notice how the group stops following you. From here everything looks so small and everyone briefly admires the timeless architecture. Eventually you realize that no one is behind you because you no longer hear the sounds of footsteps. You quickly grab Law by his clothes. “Go, go, go!” You scurry at him with a waving hand gesture. “We shouldn’t stay here so long before someone comes out of the palace!!!” You speak quietly but just loud enough to not be a whisper.

It's more than convenient for you that both the majority and Grandfather have their hands full with the upcoming ceremony... So you can take the troop of almost 30 people to the Hera Palace at your leisure. The Hera Palace is the residence of princes and princesses when they decide to not take the throne. Even if you as a princess have no interest in the throne, you don't live there. Even if you wanted to, you couldn't become Queen of Tanata. You have no right to the throne. Even though you are the Princess, you are also a Holy Priestess because of the Devil Fruit.

Besides, you just don't want to live in the Hera Palace... you'd be all alone there. Your uncle and his wife lived in the mansion but because of the tragedy they have moved back into the royal palace and are raising the next king to secure the throne. Your uncle is the commander of the army and even though the country is very safe, you have to be well prepared. Luckily, Grandpa is more than fit and is a wonderful king.

Between the royal palace and the Heras estate is the magnificent castle garden, with a long pool in the middle.

Like a secret special unit, you navigate the pirates through the castle garden. Hedges and trees give you protection (If someone were in the castle, you would be sooo seen... especially the pirates in the funny suits.) and little by little you arrive at Hera's Palace. You slam the heavy doors behind you and breathe a sigh of relief. In the reception hall, the team stands in front of you and waits for... you. You're still in your own head, leaning lightly against the door like you've had a hard day at work. Law's throat clearing brings you back.

"Ah yes, right!" You swing away from the door and walk towards the pirates.

“So! You can all feel at home, there should be enough beds available. On the ground floor there is a saloon, the large fireplace room with a bar, the kitchen and dining room. The royal family's bedrooms are on the first floor, and I allow you to use them too. The special thing about these bedrooms is that they all have their own bathroom.” You raise a finger and demand “But I have one condition. I want all women to have a royal room. The rooms on the top floor belonged to the employees and they all shared a bathroom, and I don't want to do that to the women" you wink at Nami and Robin "If I counted correctly there are only 3 women among you. There are a total of 2 double rooms and 8 single rooms, of the Royal bedroom floor. You can decide among yourselves who sleeps in the remaining rooms.” You clasp your hands together behind your back and smile at everyone around. A few crew members thank you for your hospitality and look very relieved. Then the bear comes running towards you with slight tears in his eyes and cuddles you. You startle a little but when you felt the cuddly bear's fur you couldn't help but snuggle up into him. Hyyaaaaaaa sooo soft!

"I think we should take Strawhat-ya to one of the royal rooms. He needs rest and you said you could help. We shouldn’t waste time.” He says somewhat decisively in a cool tone. You and the bear stare at him, eyes widening slightly at his voice, but he's right. You reluctantly leave the bear's embrace.

“That’s a good idea.” You nod to him and walk past him towards the stairs “Please follow me with the young gentleman. The rest are welcome to move freely.”

The pirates carrying the straw hat on the stretcher ran after you. They were followed by a few more. Among them Sanji, Robin, Zoro, Nami, which you already know. But there are also a few unknown faces, someone named Usopp, a skeleton??!! and an interestingly built man in ?panties? How obscene you think. You almost didn't see the next person because they were walking behind the big man in panties.

A little animal! It looks like a reindeer walking upright. How cute!

You're literally bursting at the cuteness… and that hat!! Like Sanji, you have heart eyes. You love cute things. With your hands clasped together, you bend down slightly towards the fur wearer.

“Well, we don’t know each other yet. A little reindeer! How cute, are you a pet?" The reindeer blushes and scratches his head in embarrassment... if you knew... he's definitely not a pet but at least you didn't think he was a Tanuki "Nooo!!! I'm not a pet... you idiot! hehe" he wiggles back and forth cutely as your eyes suddenly return to normal, staring straight down at him.

He can talk too? ?? That's it. That's it for you! You lose your temper and fall backwards. This is all TOO cute. You went knock out.

Two hands grab your arms from behind and try to support you, but you fall straight into their chest. A fairly well defined chest. You still hold one hand to your forehead while your eyes go up over your shoulder. You look straight into Law’s stormy grey eyes. When your eyes meet, you feel his grip tighten a little. You're so close that you feel his breath on your forehead, but you don't take your eyes off his and he doesn't move at all either.

Hmm, he looks a bit lanky in his sweater, but apparently he's built sturdier than he seems.

You blush at your thoughts. What are you thinking????!

Law looks at you with slight amusement and puts you back on your own two feet. His warmth leaves you and right now you're turning REALLY red.

“Eheem!” comes from the side. Your gaze goes down to the reindeer. "My name is Chopper and I'm the doctor of the Strawhat Pirates." He speaks. You lean forward slightly again and carefully hold out your hand. “Nice to meet you, Chopper!” My name is (y/n)” and you smile lovingly.

Law sees your smile and immediately notices the difference. You smile a lot, but this is definitely different. He doesn't understand why he's thinking about your smile. Generally about smiling. He stares at the two of you with a blank expression on his face.

The men carefully place the strawhat on the kingsize bed and leave the room. The people who came into the room gather around the bed with worried looks. You take a chair and place it on the bed, your arms resting on the back.

"Please explain to me what happened to him... He looks very worn out and the harder the injuries are, the more it affects me." Zoro explained to you what happened to the crew.

In front of you are all of the Strawhat Pirates; and their captain - Monkey D. Luffy - is lying in bed. Law is not one of them as he is the captain of the Heart Pirates... those funny clothed guys. Law and his comrades helped them in battle, by enabling the Strawhats to escape in their submarine. Sanji mentioned what kind of poisoning Luffy suffered when their small group tried to free his brother in a maximum security prison called Impel down. His brother was about to be executed and a fight was unavoidable. This leads to the story of the battle between the Marines and the Whitebeard Pirates, as Luffy's brother was apparently a commander of the Whitebeard Pirates.

There was a lot of fighting over a long period of time and with far too few breaks to regenerate. You listen quietly to the members and form your own opinion. How tragic.

Their looks filled with sadness.

It moves you very much to see them like that. You can literally feel what they must have been through. You sit down on the chair, your gaze is on the boy. His skin is so pale and he has dark circles under his eyes that are slightly purple. His breathing is rapid and unsteady and every now and then he lets out a pained moan.

You reach for his shaking hand, holding it in both of your hands and bringing his hand to your forehead. You focus on the cold from his hand, as if he had already passed away. The way he looks, he must feel like he's dying... you're sure of that.

The room is filled with silence and no one really knows what you're about to do.

You bring his hand to your mouth and kiss the back of his hand with your full lips. Right now you see it. Everything that happened to Luffy and you go back to just before when he was still fine. It's as if you are in a room where the images of the past pass by like a flashback. Horrible images stretch through your mind. A tear leaves your eyes, but you have to concentrate. You hear Luffy's breathing soften. It's almost done.

A few look at you worriedly while Law, Sanji and Zoro watch you closely. Basically you just kiss his hand...are you helping him yet? You don't see their looks because your eyes are closed. You have to focus. You have a very bitter taste in your mouth as the events unfold before your eyes where Luffy was poisoned. You feel your blood heating up and your heartbeat getting faster. Just before you want to let go, you feel a burning sensation in your throat and it's difficult to breathe. You feel like the poison is literally flowing down your throat. The burning is unbearable. You let go of Luffy's hand and fall into the backrest, gasping for air helplessly. You didn't expect that. Chopper and Law rush over and check you out. Law places two of his fingers on your neck to feel your pulse. Your pulse is beating like crazy, but he doesn't know what's wrong with you. He has no idea what you've done. His cool fingers on your neck make you realize how warm you feel. Not just warm, rather hot. You weakly open your eyes and try to lean forward. You're not done yet, you have to go back in time a little more. As if you and Luffy had swapped, your hands are now shaking and his are completely calm. The injuries from the battle are gone, but Luffy still has old wounds and the poison is causing you problems. But you're sure you can do it, you just didn't expect this boy to have endured all of this without dying.

Your lips back on his hand, you continue. Law and Chopper right by your side, not knowing what to do or how to help you...

Without overstepping your own boundaries, you found a moment where you were sure that Luffy was in good shape. After a while, you let go of his hand and fall back. Exhausted, you look at Law, who looks amazed at the calm Luffy. Luffy looks like he's just sleeping. His eyes no longer have purple circles, his skin color is back to normal and his breathing has stabilized.

“He just needs a good night's sleep and be fit again after a few days as I have completely healed his injuries. He was very damaged and when he is awake I want to know how he survived these immense amounts of poison!!!” You look stunned.

Sanji and Zoro grin while the rest laugh. Law remains silent and seems lost in thought. His eyes are on you again, but you are too exhausted to notice. “That’s just how our captain is. He won't be able to give you a plausible explanation how he survived that." Robin laughs with her hand in front of her mouth.

"If he's actually completely healed, why does he still need rest?" Chopper asks you like a cute child “If I use my devil fruit a lot on someone, it leaves certain marks on them. The more strength I use, the more exhausted the person becomes and falls into a long sleep.” you look to the side, a little ashamed. “If only I could use my powers more specifically, but unfortunately I’m not that good yet.” A light pink color appears on your cheeks. Nami comes to you and squats down. She wanted to tell you something but the silence was broken by Law.

"Room" a dome appears over Luffy and when it completely covers the boy he spoke the words "Scan" He takes a few steps back, somewhat disturbed “His... wounds” he says confused and looks into your half-closed eyes. “His wounds are gone?” he asks, he can’t quite understand how that could be. You just kissed him... He saw that Luffy's condition had suddenly improved, but he didn't expect that. His wounds are completely gone.

According to Law's spoken words, the others are also visibly surprised.

You can understand that it's strange, but you're just happy to be of help.

Satisfied, you briefly close your eyes.

“I definitely owe you all an explanation, but I’ll get to that later.” You slowly stand up, putting your hands on your hips. "I have to change quickly and go to the festival, the ceremony cannot begin without me." You breathe out “I ask you to stay in the manor until I have spoken to the king. I have to explain it to him gently and that's why no one should discover you." A distressed groan comes from the Strawhats.

“What a shame, I would have loved to watch the ceremony. I have heard the village people talk about it. Your performance should be a real spectacle.” Robin says with a small, melancholic smile. You think about the beautiful evening ritual and the corners of your mouth turn up unnoticed. “Yes, that’s right, it’s a real spectacle…” you say dreamily;

Actually, everyone should have seen this at least once in their life and with so many people on the street it won't be noticeable, right?

You think with a hand on your chin, “Oh you know what... if you want, I can take you to the festival site. If you dress up, you shouldn't stand out in the crowd." That's the idea. A small cheer appears from a few of the Strawhats, just quiet enough that it shouldn't disturb the sleeping Luffy.

You're looking at the skeleton man and panties guy.

The two definitely stand out too much... You interrupt the cheering and point out that it would be better if the two of them stayed in Hera's palace. They both stop in the middle of their dance movement and hang their heads depressed. You somewhat regret your decision, but you know how it will end. There are a few people here with different skin colors, but a skeleton and a metal man are far too unusual to not be noticeable. The two of them stay in the palace with Chopper while the rest decide to go into the city. But first you all have to change your clothes.

Back through the garden you make your way to the royal palace. Once again along the hedges, you are just as careful as before. You carefully check every corner before giving the others a signal and they follow you. There should still be a few servants in the palace. Most of the servants could be bribed with sweets or wouldn't say anything since you're very popular with the people, but better safe than sorry! But there could still be a problem and that would be if you run into Anatol. Anatol is not just an old good friend of your grandfather; He is also the Royal Advisor and very loyal to your grandfather. Your sweet nature doesn't appeal to him in the slightest! The smartest thing to do is to sneak into the palace from outside through the kitchen. The servants usually use separate entrances in the castle and you are sure that the chef is still wandering around the kitchen because he is waiting for you. You bite your lip a little, feeling sorry for him missing a lot of the festival because of you. But at the same time you're happy, otherwise you wouldn't be able to come into the kitchen. The doors are always locked and either you have a key or someone can open the door for you from the inside.

When you get to the side entrance to the kitchen, you listen at the door. You hear him humming.

Good! He's in the kitchen! You feel relieved.

The others eye you and you hold a finger to your lips to signal them to be quiet. You knock on the door three times and take a step back.

Three knocks and he knows it's you. The door opens and Philippos the Royal Chef stands in front of you. With his stature and all the tattoos on his body, he looks more like a huge, dangerous thug than like a chef to the others. Philippos stares at you all with a kitchen knife in his hand. He probably sharpens and polishes all the knives because the knife in his hand sparkles at you. Usopp and Nami look at you a little uncertainly, but you remain silent, smiling at Philippos.

"Princess. What have you done?" His eyebrow goes up. Ussopp and Nami now look at each other in fear, while the others look at the big man. With the polishing cloth in his hand, he polishes the knife and looks over your squad. Their clothing is very unusual for residents of Tanata, he wonders who your new friends are and turns around and walks calmly back into the kitchen. You let your guests walk past you and close the door behind you.

Philippos puts his knife aside and asks you all to sit down for a moment. The big man goes to the stove and puts on a kettle. You nod to the others in confirmation and sit down at the large marble table in the kitchen, where the kitchen staff usually work. Sanji's jaw almost drops to the table, he is so fascinated by this elegant kitchen interior. He would be happy to cook here himself. You watch with amusement. Apparently he doesn't just have a thing for women. Nami, who is sitting next to you, pierces you with her questioning looks. You lean over and whisper in her ear that she will soon find out why we should sit down for a moment. The others look around in silence. The kitchen is like a small hall with round columns and high ceilings with ornaments. Lots of plants decorate the room and the large kitchen counter made of marble is a real eye catcher. Light shines through the large windows giving a warm atmosphere. The room appears so simple and dreamy. Philippos comes to the table with teacups and small sandwiches and pours everyone a cup of tea. Then he sits down, picks up his cup and looks at you expectantly.

"Well, I'm curious what kind of tea you have for me, my princess." With an amused smile, he brings his cup to his mouth and holds his little finger in the air. His attitude always makes you giggle. You don't know anyone else who loves gossip as much as he does. But Law, Sanji, Robin and Nami's faces are even better. Everyone is a little horrified by the playful mood. They would have expected a little interrogation but this is more of a tea party where people gossip. You rest your elbow on the table and put your chin in your hand. An amused grin appears on your lips. Zoro and Usopp apparently didn't even notice what Philippos said, as the two of them were more busy eating the sandwiches. You look at Law across from you and exhale somewhat heavily.

“I was in the woods when I saw something amazing.” You look intently at the chef, creating tension. "You won't believe me! but I witnessed how a huge ship literally came shooting out of the depths of the sea!!!" With your hand movements you emphasize the words to make it more dramatic. Philippos listens to you intently and sips his tea. "And knowing the princess, of course you went to where the ship in question was. Right?" - "Mhm." you agree with him.

"I'm currently hiding about 30 people in Hera's Palace." you giggle. Philippos smiles “speechless” and holds a hand in front of his mouth. “Oh my goodness! You’ve done something great again.” he says ironically. Because of the casual conversation, the other two girls blossom and join in the conversation. Nami told Philippos how you first stopped and then dissolved the huge wave. Philippos listens to her with interest, aware of what an amazing show it must have been. After all, everyone in the kingdom knows your abilities. The only one feeling a bit lost is Law. He listens to your conversation but isn't sure why he came along in the first place. Sandwiches aren't to his liking and gossip definitely isn't to his liking either, but he still can't stop listening when he hears your melodious voice.

After the nice chat, Philippos turned away from the table to cook something on the stove. The room fills with the scent of fresh herbs. You and Nami talk about clothes while happily eating sandwiches. You wanted Law to eat something too but he refused. You're a little embarrassed that you didn't ask him sooner. The others happily helped themselves to the appetizers while Law calmly drank his tea. Philippos came back to the table and gave you a large cup of herbal tea. He grabbed a small bottle of black liquid from a locked cupboard and put 3 drops in your cup. You thank him and hesitate for a moment. "Come on, Princess. You know you have to drink the tea hot." You exhale in frustration and quickly pour the liquid down your throat. The hot tea burns your throat a bit but Philippos has already put a glass of cold water in front of you. You quickly reach for the cold water. Law is visibly interested

"What was that black liquid?" - "This is a type of syrup that strengthens the body. Our herbalists prepared this liquid for the princess." Philippos places the small bottle on the table in front of Law. He examines the bottle, smells it and grimaces. "That smells very strong." - "It doesn't taste good either." you completed his statement "But before every ceremony I have to drink this tea. It has to be fresh and hot, otherwise the syrup won't develop... that's why Philippos waited for me for so long" you look at him apologetically and he waves you off, with slightly reddened cheeks. "The tea ensures that I have enough energy for the ceremony" - "interesting" Completely fascinated, Law swings the liquid in the bottle back and forth. "I thought you didn't have doctors" he looks intensely into your eyes "y-yes, that's true. I've never heard of doctors. Our healers have a broad knowledge of plants and their effects, so they are doctors for you ?" - “Not really.” he answers shortly. You look at him puzzled while he puts a drop on his finger and tries the liquid. He doesn't say anything else and leaves the conversation unexplained.

Okayyy so he keeps things exciting. You guess?

After you leave the kitchen, you all sneak down the long hallway. You quickly hurry into your room, you are really glad that no one saw you.

"Take a seat in front of the fireplace, I'll bring you clothes." You say before leaving the room again. You go into the royal dressing room and pick out some simple robes for the 6 people.

As you pack a bunch of clothes and accessories for the girls, you wonder what you'll give the men to wear. Your uncle probably won't mind if you borrow some clothes from him. You chose rather simple skirts, with subtle embroidery in gold. At the back there is a kind of longer cloth attached to the waistband of the back, which you can throw over your shoulder. This means the chest is covered a bit and provides some warmth on cool evenings.

You quickly run back to your room. The six people were patiently waiting for you in your room.

"I definitely found something suitable for everyone." You give each of the men their clothes and a pair of sandals. "I just brought a small selection for you two because I can give you my clothes without making it too noticeable." You put the mountain down and Nami's eyes sparkle. Robin looks thrilled at the beautiful fabrics and veils. Both of them thank you for your kindness.

"Okay, if anyone wants to take a shower, feel free to freshen up quickly. My personal bathroom is up there." You point to a door to your left. "We still have about an hour until the main ceremony of the festival. We should hurry up because I can't be late!"

(Your bathroom is like a hammam bath. In the middle there is a slightly larger pool in the ground but the water is not particularly deep.)

You briefly discuss who would like to take a shower and decide that you women should go first because you need a little more time for your hair to dry. With the clothing of their choice under their arms, Nami and Robin follow you into the bathroom.

After you have finished your shower, you come out of the bathroom fully dressed. In your noble clothes, with veils on your arms and gold jewelry, you three look like goddesses. Apart from Sanji, the men seem rather uninterested and walk past you to freshen up in the bathroom. Only Sanji doesn't follow and falls to his knees in front of you with a nosebleed. His heart almost jumps out of his chest. A few incomprehensible sentences leave his lips as Zoro comes back and drags him by his collar into the bathroom.

In the meantime, you women do each other's hair and talk about Tanata's culture.

The Meaning of Justice: Nanohana (Alabasta part 1)

You’re a Marine who’s always been taught to trust the process. And you always have, until you meet a certain pirate who won’t stop pestering you to join his crew.

A/N: Alabasta became VERY long VERY fast, so I’m breaking this up into two or three parts. Part Two will be released next week. Also – this storyline will be going along with the anime, so Ace is with the Strawhats while they travel through the desert, rather than leaving them after destroying the Baroque ships. (I’m sorry you guys I just love Ace so much)

You didn’t meet Luffy again for three weeks. The Strawhats were quite good at evading the Navy when it came down to it. Once it became clear they were heading for Alabasta, your ship took a more direct route and managed to beat them to the island. Now, it was just a waiting game.

You spent your free time studying the wanted posters for Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro, as well as going over all the notes and reports of their known accomplices. The tangerine-haired firecracker Nami, the blonde cook Sanji, and the long-nosed liar Ussop were the individuals who made up the Strawhat Pirate Crew. If you ever got the chance to meet him again, you would shackle those sea prism stone cuffs around his wrist and send him straight to Impel Down to pay for his crimes of piracy, destruction of property, and several other offenses that seemed to grow by the day. Justice would be served.

Tashigi and Smoker had gone onto the island to do more reconnaissance with about half of the navy crew. Apparently there were rumors of an even larger bountied pirate on Alabasta, and Smoker had wanted to sniff out fact from fiction. You had stayed aboard the boat, having the men watch for any sign of other potential problems in the port or at sea.

A young man rushed in, startling you. He looked frantic and nervous, which made your skin tingle with alertness. “There’s a report in! Strawhat was seen leaving Nanohana on a ship heading west.”

You muttered out a few curses in frustration. That crew was so damn slippery. “Get ready to set sail. Let’s follow them.” You led him out, ready to give the command to the other members, when you realized that you could see the Strawhat ship sailing past you. It was cruising at an alarmingly quick speed, and you knew you would never catch it with a clunky old ship like this one. Whoever their navigator was must be exceptionally skilled.

“Change of plans,” you told the kid next to you. “I’m taking the Wind Viper solo to track them. Let Tashigi and Smoker know when they return. Have them follow my vivre card.”

You could hear the kid start to object, but you jumped over the side of the ship and landed on the single person boat before he could say much. You knew you were probably making a decision that would end in a demotion at best, but you refused to lose Monkey D. Luffy again. You had sailed solo boats like this since you could walk, and with some luck, you’d be nimble enough to catch them and follow them without them ever being any wiser. You quickly unknotted the Wind Viper, freeing it from the mothership, and grabbed the ropes to adjust the sails.

The wind was in your favor today, you could feel it in the tension on the ropes. The Strawhats capture was inevitable with this kind of luck. You would just have to hope that Smoker would be able to look past you abandoning your post once you were able to lead him directly to the Strawhats.

You managed to catch the wind perfectly and close the gap between you and the sloop the Strawhats were on. You remained a practical distance away from them, enough to watch the ship but not be noticed by its crew.

You had to keep reminding yourself that your goal was to follow and track them, so that your crew could capture them together. It would be highly unlikely any one person could capture all the Strawhats at once. Even Smoker would have difficulty with that. But if you could lead the fifty members aboard your ship to the Strawhats, you estimated your chances were closer to 95% success.

Suddenly a fleet of ships appeared on the ocean from behind a haze, blocking the Strawhats from advancing any further. Unsure if they were friend or foe, you pulled out your spare set of binoculars to look for identifying information.

You barely have time to make out the “BAROQUE” wording across the sails before a giant flame pierced and splintered the ships into pieces, crumbling into the sea.

Your heart sank and you instantly put slack on the ropes to the sail, letting your speed die down. You knew you needed to keep as much distance between yourself and the Strawhats without letting them get away. You knew of only one person who could make devastation that quick. The rumors of his presence in Alabasta were true. Whitebeard’s second division commander was here, and he seemed to be allied with the Strawhat pirates for some reason. Questions spun in your head as you tried to process the information you just received. Was Fire Fist recruiting them? How and why did the Strawhats already trust him enough to have him on board their ship and sail out to sea?

You were broken from your thoughts when the Strawhat ship turned into the mouth of a river and headed up stream. You waited a few moments, and then continued to follow them cautiously. By the time you found their ship, it appeared to be docked and, after a stealthy sweep, you realized it had been abandoned by the crew. You considered waiting by the ship for backup, but an empty ship wasn’t really something worth getting demoted over. You grabbed a few snacks and water from the kitchen area and jumped onto land to try and track the missing pirates.

Is it really stealing if you're stealing from pirates? You could feel the internal battle of taking food that doesn’t belong to you begin in your mind. They probably stole it anyway, so it’s fine. When you found them, you would ask. After they were in handcuffs, of course.

Amid your internal war, you almost failed to notice the kung-fu dugongs that were now charging at you, fists raised and ready to fight. They were squeaking at you, pointing between you and the ship, and a few of them had various items they were holding onto.

“No, no! Stop! It’s okay!” You were trying desperately to get the dugongs to stop threatening you, but they just kept shaking their fists and pointing between you and the ship.

“You know the Strawhats, right? Luffy?” His name seemed to calm them down slightly, but you could tell they were still angry. “Hey wait! Luffy, I know him! We’re friends!”

You hated to ally yourself with a pirate, even if it wasn’t true and the only witnesses were these animals. “We got separated a while back.” That wasn’t necessarily a lie. “I’m looking for him! Can you tell me which way he went?”

The dugongs exchanged glances and chattering noises, and then one member came out and pointed in the direction of the endless desert. Of course. Leave it to the Strawhats to take a daunting excursion through the desert for no reason. “Thank you! Thank you so much!” You gave him a spare rice ball you stole off Strawhat’s ship and started walking in the direction the creature pointed.

After only a few minutes of walking, you looked around and realized you had probably made a fatal mistake. You couldn’t see or hear any sign of life around you, and the wind had covered your tracks. The only thing you have to guide you is the sun, which is still beating down harshly on your uncovered skin. You didn’t exactly plan for a trip to the desert. You didn’t even have a hat to shade your eyes, just a short-sleeved shirt and flowing pants, paired with your closed toed shoes.

You resisted the urge to take a drink of water, knowing your resources were extremely limited. But you couldn’t turn back now. This would be an even greater failure than the boat. You recalculated the trajectory of the sun and the direction the dugong pointed you, and kept trekking forward, certain this was the only path you could take now. For better or worse.

After an hour or two, you noticed the first sign of life that you’ve seen since you left Nanohana. Buildings, now turned to rubble, lay strewn throughout the sand, and you found the first piece of shade that you’ve seen since you entered the desert. You laid down in it, curling up so no part of you was touched by the harsh sunlight. You’d stay here until Captain Smoker found you. Perhaps it was better to be dishonorably discharged than to be dead. You dozed off, exhausted from the walking, and decided you’d be content with either outcome at this point.

“I think she’s still alive!” The feminine voice was hushed and urgent, laced with concern.

“Chopper! There’s someone here! She needs help!” The second voice was louder, unbothered by the possibility of you waking up.

Your eyes flicked open, searching for Smoker’s signature look of disapproval. But he wasn’t there. “Smoker,” you started, assuming he must have been behind you. “I’m sorry about this-” You sat up abruptly, still searching, and your sudden movement caused the two girls close to you to scream out in fear. Their screams prompted other bodies to appear around you almost instantly.

“What is it, Nami?” The familiar voice sent ice through your veins, despite the heat in the air. “Did you find something good to eat?”

A small animal approached you holding a medical kit, and he reached out his hoof to you. He looked concerned, and when he spoke, you could tell it’s genuine. “It’s okay. You’re safe now. How are you feeling?”

You couldn’t bring yourself to respond. Your head was pounding from dehydration, and the world seemed to be tilted at the wrong angle. You couldn’t help but feel an equal amount of excitement and dread from the whole situation. You were surrounded by the Strawhats, all of them were right here with you. And yet, you had no way of letting your captain know he’d be walking straight into a trap when he finally found you.

You did a quick headcount. Nami, Sanji, Zoro, Ussop, Luffy. They were all here. Plus a blue-haired girl and the…was he a reindeer or a raccoon? Neither of them were in any reports you had read. Perhaps they were hostages, or new crew members.

“Hey wait…” You caught Luffy eying you curiously from afar, studying your face. “Don’t I know you?”

The girl named Nami spoke up before you could respond. “Luffy! How the hell would you know her? Vivi would be more likely to know this person, given that it's her kingdom!”

Vivi. You recognized that name. She was the princess of Alabasta who hasn’t been seen in a few years. And now that you looked at her, you could see the similarities from the photos of her as a child. The princess must’ve been held captive or formed an alliance with the Strawhats. Based on the group's demeanor, you’d guess the latter of the two.

“Nuh-uh. I know her” Luffy shook his head in stubbornness, addressing you now. “Hey, how do I know you?”

“Whoever she is, she’s gorgeous!!!” The blonde man’s eyes practically became hearts looking at you. “Is there anything I can get you, my dear?”

This definitely wasn’t how you imagined a crew of such notoriety to act. It almost pissed you off how carefree they were acting.

“Don’t help her.” A deep voice came from above you, and you could see a figure perched on some rubble. You hadn’t realized anyone else was in the vicinity. “I don’t know how you know her, Luffy. But she’s a marine.”

You felt a shiver down your spine. You had forgotten about the Baroque ships, forgotten about Fire Fist. You feel the tension in the air skyrocket, the various sounds of each member shifting into a fighting stance.

Luffy smacked his hands together and shook them in triumph. “Direction girl!” He proclaimed. He either hadn’t heard Whitebeard’s commander or was electing to ignore him. “You gave me directions to Gol Roger’s execution platform in Loguetown!”

Luffy jumped over to you without a care in the world, extending a hand to help you to your feet. “You know, if you wanted to join my crew, you could’ve just asked in Loguetown. You didn’t have to follow us all the way here!”

His complete obliviousness took you by surprise, and your mouth opened in shock. “Wha-”

Nami interjected before you could even finish the word. “YOU IDIOT!!!” She screamed, knocking him on the head. “She’s here to capture us! Not to join the crew!”

“Ouch, Nami! That hurt...” Luffy rubbed his head and looked down at you, scowling. “Are you sure you’re a marine? No offense, but you don’t exactly look like one.”

“She’s been following us since we left Nanohana.” Fire First jumped down behind you, and you could feel his warmth from a few feet away. The rest of the crew exchanged glances with each other, shocked by the information.

Nami was the first to recover from the news. “Nanohana? And you’re just now telling us this, Ace?”

So, the Strawhats were on a first-name basis with the fire user. You would have to put that in your report. If you made it out alive.

“Sorry,” Fire Fist shrugged. “I just really didn’t think she’d make it this far.”

Everyone stood where they were for a long while, nobody sure what to do. You couldn’t help but feel like they were all waiting for a decision to be made. A decision to let you live or to kill you. But nobody was making the final call.

“Well?” Luffy was looking at you expectantly, as if he were waiting for you to act.

You stared back at him. “Well, what?”

He had the audacity to look at you as if you were the stupid one. “Are you gonna try to capture us?”

You hesitated and looked around at the members you faced. Roronoa Zoro had his grip on one sword, ready to unsheathe it at any moment. Usopp was holding a loading slingshot, and you got the feeling he wouldn’t be missing. Nami and Vivi were keeping their distance, but were staring daggers into your soul. Sanji was lighting a cigarette, sitting on some rocks nearby. The small creature that helped you earlier was attempting to hide behind some rocks behind the cook. You could feel heat radiating from behind you, indicating that Fire Fist would blast you before you even got a chance to move. And Luffy, that idiot pirate was staring at you with his big, curious eyes.

“No.” You finally answered, and you hated yourself for being a coward, for not fighting until the bitter end like a true marine should. “No, I’m not going to capture you.”

A grin spread across Luffy’s face, his eyes lighting up. “So you did come to join my crew!”

“Also no!” You spat out the words at him, and you heard a few people chuckle. “I just want to get out of this damn desert!”

It was partially true, but if the Strawhats kept you around as a hostage, Smoker and the others would be able to find you. You’d just have to trust that Smoker could evaluate the situation and make the right decision when it came down to that.

Luffy laughed, and you found yourself smiling along with him. He had a laugh that was full of warmth and kindness, one that was contagious to those around him. You didn’t want to admit it, but you could see why someone like Luffy had amassed so many crewmembers in such a short amount of time.

“I wouldn’t trust her, Luffy.” The others had relaxed with their captain, but you could feel Fire Fist’s eyes on you from behind. “We should tie her up if she’s going to travel with us.”

“Nah, it’s fine Ace. If she said she’s not gonna capture us, then she’s not gonna capture us.” Luffy turned his attention away from you and towards Sanji. “Hey Sanji, when’s lunch?”

“Tch. You’re too trusting, Luffy.” But the heat from behind you receded, and Fire Fist passed you to regroup with the Strawhats. His Captain’s jolly roger displayed proudly on his back made your eyes widen at the site, but you said nothing.

Sanji blew out a puff of smoke before answering his captain. “Lunch isn’t for a while, we still have a lot of distance to cover.”

“Awwww,” Luffy moaned. “But I’m hungry now!”

You pulled out your small stash of rations, picking out a rice ball and holding it out for him. “You can have this, if you’d like.” Technically, it was the Strawhats food anyway. It’s not like you were losing out on much.

Everyone’s eyes widened in panic, but before anyone could object, Luffy was next to you.

“Wai-” Zoro reached out to his captain, knowing it was already too late.

You could see that his lips were around your arm, and you could feel the wetness of his tongue against your fingers, but it still took you a second to process exactly what was happening.

“DON’T EAT ME, YOU MORON!” You kicked him in the stomach, which caused the rubber man to cough, and you pulled your hand out of his mouth as he fell to the ground. You scrambled backwards and pressed yourself against a rock, desperately trying to get distance from the boy who just tried to eat you.

Ace and Zoro rushed toward Luffy, who was still recovering from being kicked in the stomach. “Hey Luffy, spit that out!” The two pirates fell to their knees next to the strawhat boy. “Spit it out!”

“No…way.” Luffy was on his hands and knees, still coughing from your blow. “It's all…mine.”

“It could be poisoned, you idiot!” Zoro slapped his captain’s back, trying to help him catch his breath.

“I wouldn’t be so dishonorable that I’d poison food.” You wiped the slobber off your hand and finally stood up. “I didn’t even kick you that hard, Strawhat. Don’t be dramatic.” Fire Fist and Zoro both shot you irritated glances, but they seemed to relax a little bit.

By the time you finished repacking your supplies, Luffy had finally recovered from your stomach kick. Luffy stood next to you again, eyeing your pack. “Those were really good! Do you have more?”

“Not for you.” He frowned at you and sulked away. You felt a twinge of guilt at the harshness of your words, but you quickly shoved it from your mind.

“If you’re going to be traveling together,” Nami said, looking at you unenthusiastically. “We should probably all know each other’s names.”

“Right! I’m Luffy! That’s Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Vivi, Chopper, and Ace!” Luffy pointed at each member of the circle as he introduced them, but you had already known everyone’s name except the raccoon.

“And I’m a reindeer!” Chopper shouted, as if he had heard your thoughts.

“Got it. Chopper the reindeer.” You see the small reindeer blush as you say that, and he ran to hide behind Zoro as you introduced yourself to the crew.

“We really should get moving.” The Princess’s words were laced with concern as she looked out to the horizon. "We're running out of time.”

Her words hold the weight of a country, and you can feel the heavy burden she’s carrying for just a moment, though you’re not sure why the weight is so heavy.

“Princess Vivi,” You began walking alongside her after a little while of walking. “If I may ask. What exactly is going on? Why have you allied yourself with the Strawhat Pirates and Fire Fist?”

Her words were full of bitterness as she replied. “Because they actually want to help me save this country, unlike the Navy!” The harshness of her tone startled you, but she regained her composure after a moment. “I’m sorry, I know it’s not your fault. It’s just…” she searched for the right words.

“It’s what I’m a part of.” You could feel the others listening in on the conversation, a mixture of caution and curiosity.

“What you’re a part of,” she echoed. Her eyes stared intensely at the ground below her as she searched for the words to say next. “The Navy has known about the issues in Alabasta for years, and they’ve never done anything to help its people. They claim it’s not their business to get involved in country affairs, but...” she paused, and you could hear her voice starting to become thick with tears and frustration. “It hasn’t rained here in three years. It’s not a natural phenomenon. Someone is sabotaging Alabasta! Someone is hurting my people! And the Navy won’t even lift a finger to help! The only reason they’re even here right now is because of Luffy and Ace!”

You knew you weren’t the one who made any of these calls. You knew that decisions like these came from far above you or Tashigi or even Smoker. Decisions like these come from people who have been in the Navy for far longer than you’ve been alive. Yet, you can’t help but feel shameful on its behalf. Because Vivi was right. The only reason you were in Alabasta in the first place was because you were tracking down Strawhat Luffy. You hadn’t even known that Aaabasta was on the verge of a war.

You had no words to give her, and you knew even if you did say anything, it wouldn’t sound genuine anyway. The silence was as thick as the desert air, and you could see Vivi wiping furiously at her face to dry her eyes. You decided the best thing to do was gather information instead of making empty promises. Your voice came out gentle, showing you were asking out of curiosity rather than hostility. “So what led you to join up with the Strawhats and Fire Fist?”

She was silent for a while, trying to regain her composure. You thought that she hadn’t heard you, or was too ashamed for her reasoning, and you left the question hanging in the air.

“Because they wanted to help me.”

It was such a powerful answer in such a few words. Her voice was so small, and you knew the princess trusted these pirates with her life. And the Strawhats trusted the princess too. You could feel the winds shift, seeing the Strawhats and their captain in a new light.

“Yeahhhhh!” Luffy raised his arms and shouted into the sky. “We’re gonna beat your ass, Crocodile!!!!”

“Crocodile? What does he have anything to do with Alabasta?” Confusion set in once again. You felt like every time this group answered a question, you had another three questions rise. Crocodile was one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, sanctioned by the World Government. Technically, you were supposed to assist, even protect, the warlords when it came down to it, but you never cared much for that system. It didn’t make much sense for the government to sanction some of the worst criminals on the sea just for the appearance of authority. A pirate is still a pirate, as Smoker always said.

You heard Fire Fist laugh dryly and mutter something indistinctly behind you. You couldn’t make out what he said, but you could tell from his tone that he’s criticizing you in some way.

Even Vivi looked disappointed that you had asked such a question. “He’s the one who’s behind all of this. The drought, the rebellion, Baroque Works. Everything that’s happening in Alabasta can be linked back to him.”

Her answer has once again brought more questions to your mind. But there’s one that comes to the forefront and quite literally stops you in your tracks. Vivi stopped too, looking back at you curiously.

Your voice came out pained when you spoke. “Why haven’t we helped you?”

Your question made her eyes well up with tears again, and she was about to answer when Fire Fist interjected. “Because the Navy doesn’t care about Alabasta.” He walked past you, unfazed by the whole thing. “Think about it. The Navy sanctioned Crocodile. If they stop him now, they’ll have to admit they were wrong making him a Warlord in the first place. You’d rather save face and let a country burn than admit you were wrong.”

You flinched when the hate in his voice switched from being directed at the Navy to you. You realized the words he spoke stung so badly because he’s right. Maybe not about you personally, but he had accurately described all the things that were famously flawed about the Navy as an overall system.

“Hang on, Ace,” Luffy scowled in confusion at the fire user. It was clear the captain’s brain was working overtime trying to process this entire conversation. “Don’t blame Y/N for this, she didn’t make any of those decisions.”

Fire Fist sighed and chucked at the naive young captain. “I suppose you’re right, Luffy. Still,” his eyes flicked back to you, his tone becoming serious again. “If you’re going to stand for something, you better know what you’re standing for.”

You sat alone, watching the Strawhats fight over Chopper’s warmth from a distance. The night air was chilled, and millions of stars shone in the sky. Vivi said you all had made good time, but you still had a long way to go. You weren’t sure how Vivi knew exactly where you were, but you trusted her and her navigation skills within the desert.

The cool air and sand brushed over your skin, sending a shiver up your body. You sat curled up into a ball, trying to retain any warmth you could. You weren’t sure how you were going to be able to sleep, or if it was wise to even attempt to do so, surrounded by a group of notorious pirates.

Fire Fist sat down next to you, breaking you away from your thoughts. He was still shirtless, his warmth radiating out from him. Whitebeard’s symbol displayed prominently on his back had shocked you at first, but you had grown used to the sight since this morning. “Must be nice to be warm like that all the time,” you muttered, jealous of his ability.

He laughed at your comment, watching the Strawhats engage in their shenanigans. “You know, I forget what it’s like to be cold. Or hot. Even in the Alabasta desert during the day, the heat isn’t intolerable. It’s just warm and bright.”

“Like you,” you teased, and he looked at you inquisitively. He grinned as he watched your face fall at the realization of what you had just said. You had meant it as a joke to his devil fruit power, and your face turned red when you realized how it could be interpreted.

“Well, if a lady of the Marines says so, then it must be true!”

“That’s not what I-”

“Too late to take it back now,” he retorted, puffing out his chest. “A Marine called me ‘warm and bright’! Pops is gonna love that.”

Your eyes widened. “You have no proof I said that!”

“Just my word.”

“A pirate’s word is-” You stopped mid-sentence when you caught his eye, his face beginning to fall with anticipation of how you would finish that sentence.

“A pirate’s word is what?” He goaded, suddenly defensive. His freckled smile was gone, replaced by a pained grimace. “Trash? Scum? Dishonorable?” He put more spite into every new word.

“Not as good as mine.” You corrected, and you saw his face flicker with surprise. It wasn’t the sentence you grew up saying, but you liked this new answer better.

Your response caused Ace to laugh. A good, hearty laugh, paired with a few slaps on his knee. You couldn’t help but smile while watching him. It reminded you of Luffy’s, contagious and full of complete genuine emotion. The others looked over, briefly pausing their fight over the reindeer before starting back up again.

Ace wiped tears away from his eyes once he calmed down. “Your word is that good, huh? Better than any pirate?”

“Yep.”

Ace hummed in response. You could tell he was weighing a decision, but you didn’t press it any further. The two of you sat in silence for a long while, and you realized you were enjoying both his company and his warmth. You both watched the Strawhats all curl up and slowly fall asleep one by one.

“Since your word is so good, can I have it on something?” Ace’s voice was low and serious, and you knew he had finally made a decision on whatever he was thinking about earlier.

“That depends on what you’re asking me to do, Ace.” It’s the first time you had called him by his name rather than his title. You liked him more as Ace anyway.

Ace chuckled lightly, recognizing that your response was a valid one. “You see, Luffy’s my brother.” You stifled back a shocked gasp, trying not to react, but you could see a smile dance over his lips at your response. “I want you to protect him. Make sure he doesn’t die.”

You stared at him, unsure how to respond. Ace had just given you a treasure trove of information and had simultaneously asked you to do the very thing you vowed against.

“I know that’s a very non-marine thing to do,” he said, reading your mind. “But Luffy’s special. He’s going to be King of the Pirates.”

“I think that proves even more that I shouldn’t protect him.”

“Oh, right!” He smacked his forehead. “Ignore what I said then. Everyone wants to be King of the Pirates. Luffy isn’t special.”

You laughed at his back pedaling, and then sighed. “I’m sorry, Ace.” And you really were. You wanted to promise him and help make him feel more at ease. But it would be going against your direct principles. Against everything you knew and fought for. “I can’t give you my word on that. I’m a Marine, and I’m not abandoning my post to become Luffy’s lacky.”

“No, no, I’m not asking you to!” Ace quickly corrected. “You can still be a Marine! You seem like you might actually be one of the few good ones left.” The compliment made you blush, his words in such stark contrast to what he was saying earlier.

“Just, whenever your paths cross,” he continued. “Make sure he doesn’t do something so stupid that it gets him killed, if you can manage it. Please?”

There was a saying amongst the Navy women about the man sitting next to you. “Better watch out, Fire Fist Ace can melt hearts in more ways than one!” It was a joke, a silly warning they used whenever people went out on missions involving pirates, but now you were beginning to see the truth in the sentiment.

“I’ll…” You hesitated. You wanted to say yes, but for the sake of duty, the sake of justice, you couldn’t bring yourself to agree. “Can I think about it?”

Ace smiled at you and nodded once, satisfied with your response. He looked like he’s about to add something, but he changed his mind. “You should turn in for the night.” His eyes scanned the horizon. “I’ll keep watch for a while.”

You laughed at the thought of him keeping watch alone. “Ace, how am I supposed to trust you with my life when you fall asleep at completely random times?”

Those dark eyes flicked back to yours once again, and he tilted his hat back so you could see his face better. “Is that the only reason you don’t trust me, Miss Marine?”

You rolled your eyes and laid down without answering him. In truth, you actually did trust him to keep watch. If he had wanted to kill you, he certainly would’ve done it by now. Plus, with a heat source this close, you might actually manage to fall asleep in these conditions.

It was some of the best sleep you’ve had in a while.

Sanji and Zoro's Pact/Sanji's love for Nami

One of the things that has been blatant from the beginning of One Piece is how Nami has a special place in Sanji's heart. Whether it derives from admiration, some type of respect or simple, genuine, love (or the three at the same time), there is something there worth noting.

Oda has also dedicated a lot of colorspreads, manga moments and coverpages to show us that. And in recent chapters, he once again brought up how, even when Sanji does show interest in other girls, it's always Nami who is on his mind the most.

(Also, when we talk about the colorspreads specifically, it's quite interesting how he includes the two together even when the requests only have to do with one of them, not all the time ofc).

And although Oda does not like to focus on romance and love stories in One Piece, he still seems to use them to advance the plot when they exist

A good example is Boa Hancock, whose love for Luffy motivated her to go an extra mile to help him rescue his brother in Impel Down.

So it feels like Sanji's feelings for Nami might also be used as a way to advance the plot.

How exactly?

Well, if we take a look at Sanji's recent development it has been focusing a lot on his inner war of empathy vs. lack of empathy/love vs. science.

We all know that Sanji has suffered a lot at the hands of scientists (his father and his minions) and of their cruel "experiments" (his brothers).

Because of that bad experience and his strong will, he has always been very certain of what he does not want for his life and of the principles he wants to live up to.

He won't beat women

He will feed anyone who is hungry

He won't use his hands in a fight

However, in recent chapters, his behavior might change since his Germa DNA is no longer latent.

Sanji himself was afraid that it would make him behave like his brothers, and with this panel (and although it seemed to be resolved in Wano), we can still suspect that there might be something there worth worrying about.

Now, of course if could mean nothing, but I find it unlikely since Oda even chose to switch the direction of the swirls of his eyebrows to show when Sanji's Germa powers are taking over (it's still a bit difficult to know what exactly happens when they "activate" though, since Sanji's exoesqueleton is always active now).

We also have to remember the pact that Sanji and Zoro made. The awakening of his new powers are what motivated Sanji to ask for Zoro's "help", should they get out of hand.

By the end of Wano, it seemed like there was no need for Zoro to keep his promise any longer,

but if Oda took the time and space to draw panels like the ones below for there to be no pay off in the future, I think he wouldn't have botheredto include them in the first place.

It's also clear that, because of their frequent bickering, everyone wants to see a Sanji vs. Zoro fight, and the pact that they made might be the way Oda found to make these two fight on equal grounds.

Now, do I think Zoro will kill Sanji, like Sanji himself asked? Not exactly.

I think that Zoro might end up helping Sanji kill this Germa personality that seems to be developing within him... but I don't think Zoro will do it entirely on his own.

The other person who might be extremely important is Nami.

Like I said, with the recent chapters, colorspreads, and cover pages, Oda has been once again showing us how much Nami is special to Sanji. And its worth noting that Sanji has also addressed an interesting power called the "power of love" when he protects Nami.

Again, it does seem like a gag, but the more we advance in Future Island Arc, the more it seems to be revolving around the subject of science/rationality against love/desire for other characters as well (I.e. Kuma, York).

Another good example is in Thriller Bark.

Where Sanji fought his "programming" to protect Nami and blamed this behavior to the power of love.

(It's worth noting what Sanji describes what the power of love can do: make the impossible, possible, and blow everything away. Insteresting)

Moving to more recent chapters, we also have this coverpage with its request at the bottom.

It might seem like any other request made for Oda, but I think it's worth noting what he included in the picture that wasn't in the request.

Two things come in mind:

The raccoon priest using the three sword style to "discipline" Sanji

Sanji's worldly thoughts being especificaly about Nami

This cover page was posted during the Wano arc, around 30 chapters before the Pact, so we can kinda consider the racoon strucking Sanji with Zoro's fighting style as a foreshadow for a future Sanji/Zoro fight, right?

But why did Oda also put Nami there?

Well, as Zoro fights Sanji to honor their pact (maybe with the intention to kill him if he sees no hope)... Nami might be the one to make Sanji return to his normal self before it's too late. Making the impossible, possible *wink, wink*

Remember, it has already happened before at Thriller Bark, and it might be a foreshadow to the moment the Power of Love stops being a gag, and becomes a real type of power that can be used in a battle.

So, in the end, Sanji might go back to normal but with total control over his Germa Power... and maybe with another power up? Hehe, who knows.

And maybe, not only will it be important for Sanji to finally know that he will not behave like his brothers anymore... but maybe also for Nami to see how important she is to Sanji.

Although for the audience, it's clear that Sanji holds Nami in a higher regard, it seems like Nami herself might not be aware of that since Sanji does flirt with a lot of women.

~Lawlu Baby Things~

Well, they've since been named Cora and Ace.

Cora being older than Ace meant a few things. One, he had to make sure the dummy didn't get hurt. Two, he needed to share his food with him sometimes. Three, and he had to share his parents.

That was lotsa responsibility! He falls a lot! He doesn't want to share his food, especially the yummy meat! And, he wants attention too!

His daddy had said he was cranky because he had a temperature. And Cora thinks it's true, because his daddy is a doctor that fixes some people. His other papa was holding him while they sat on the rocking chair. "Cora, we can't be getting sick now, we have an adventure to go on tomorrow!"

"Gotta take Ace too?" he mumbles.

His daddy laughs, "Yes. Don't be so mad a him, it was an accident."

"He sneezed on me, his fault I have boogers now," he glares at his parents, but especially hard at the sleeping one-year-old in his dad's arms.

"You know, he gets that anger and spritefullness from you," his papa laughs, quite loudly too.

"It's spitefulness, Luffy."

Sanji loves babysitting his godsons, he does...truly. But when he needs to take care of them AND be in the same room as Zoro...well he'd rather eat unseasoned food.

"Could you please help me entertain them, I'm trying to cook."

"But this is entertaining," Zoro grins.

Ace is sitting on the counter trying to taste each and every ingrediant, including the raw eggs! No smacking of hands deters that one, Sanji just gets smacked right back. Cora has been sneaking candy into his mouth, most likely going to get sick of it and ruin his appetite. Okay that was a lie, kid can eat. They're not half of Luffy for nothing.

"Why are you even here?" Sanji glowers.

"Law said you'd be cooking, so thought I might join you. Free meal and all," Zoro shrugs.

"Fib! Fib!" Ace yells. "Papa said no fibbing!"

Zoro visibly redddens, "Did Luffy also tell you that kids that say fib, get bullied?!"

"No, but daddy did say you always stare at Uncle Sanji's butt. And that you two would probably get married before we get another baby sibling," Cora states.

"Oh that does it, both of you go play outside!" Zoro chases after the two boys, managing to wrangle up Ace just before running after Cora.

Sanji is left there speechless, and blushing. It is the first and only time he's ever burned a meal in over a decade.

"Aunty Robin, what is the quickest way to muder someone?" Ace asks in his most polite and respectful manner.

"Well, I am a visual learner, how do you grasp your knowledge better?" She smiles at her two nephews. They are sharing some tea and biscuits out on her patio listening to the thundering rain.

"Pictures are good," Cora answers and his brother nods.

"Now why would my two sweetest nephews need this information?"

"Papa is mad that this one lady at daddy's work is giving him all the bad work days. We don't get to see him no more," Ace's demeanor shifts to a rather pathetic gloomy appearance.

"Oh dear, that does constitute murder," Robin sympathizes.

"We thought so too!" Cora grumbles. "Can you help us? We're cute, we'll be out of Impel Down in no time!"

Law was lying on his stomach, head sideways on his arms as his youngest was coloring in his tattoos. Definitely a habit he learned from Luffy.

Cora and said husband were baking cookies as he and Ace watched a documentary on the most ridiculus crimes commited. Luffy said he knows the person who holds most of those spots. How he knows a ridiculous clown, he won't even ask.

"Dad,' Ace smacks his back to get his attention.

"What baby," Law turns a little to see him.

"You need more tattoos. I colored them all already."

"Why don't we just get you some tattoos?" The words are out of his mouth before he realizes what he'd done.

But Luffy heard it and started laughing his ass off, "Good luck!"

Yup, his boys were about to go crazy for removable tattoos.

Who is your favourite buggy pirate? I always loved cabaji, he used to be so loyal to buggy and genuinely cared about him. Cross guild f him up so much for no reason. He has incredibly cool design too and I’m sad he gets ignored. I wish oda could write more about them instead of focusing on new allies of buggy this much :( it’s like he forgot

mm, i'd say cabaji hasn't really changed since his introduction. he's always been loyal to buggy to a point. (see: mourning buggy & starting a fight with mohji over who gets to be the new captain post-orange town, rather than trying to find him; abandoning the plan to storm impel down after one threat and critique from alvida; cross guild.) it's just that his threshold for that flip-switch from loyally backing buggy up to mourning a man who isn't dead has stayed the same, while the baseline danger level of situations they're in has skyrocketed. so it may seem like he's turning on buggy much faster these days, but the reality is he's just being consistent about giving up on him when things get Too Dangerous.

as for me? my favorite's gotta be richie. i love when there's a lion. love that he won cabaji and mohji's epic battle for the captaincy and that the crew just rolled with it. love that he is so food-motivated, as animals usually are, but not in anything like a normal way. he wants riceballs! he wants sweets!! what a guy.

Chains

(Yandere Mayor x Macaque)

TW: Mentions of Night Terrors, Toxic Mindset, Toxic Relationship, Kidnapping, Stalking and Unhealthy Love

Withering from his hand, the dark-furred monkey wanted to cry out in pure agony, yet not a single sound could escape his throat, not even a single squeak nor groan.

His lamp, shattered and on the ground.

The black wooden interiors of it, became nothing more than broken pieces,

Reflecting how his just a shattered soul, the lamp fragment scattered around the ground, now he was a, shell of his former self.

"I'm all alone" His lips moved—but still nobody could hear his silent scream

The bright glow of blue, looming from the corner sting his nocturnal eyes.

Even late at night, or at day, Macaque woke up clutching the sheets of his bed. The demon was trembling badly due to the recent nightmares.

He looked like a hot mess, absolutely ugly with red sore eyes and how snot dripped down nostrils.

Macaque, felt alone. Tears pricked at the corner of his eyes— a single eye, the left one was useless, basically blind from that side and served no purpose other than to remind him, of what he lost in the past.

Even with his heightened sense. He could feel there was secretly a presence lingering near, but was too tired to even care anymore.

It was pitiful, how lonely he was, to the point where he didn't mind the stalker's attention, as that was the closet thing to a decent and intimate interaction, he'd ever had.

It was even more pitiful, that he fought to keep his life for centuries and had to be a henchman for some bone demon, to try and continue to live.

Everyone has the right to live, Yet for him.

It was more of a privilege.

It was difficult to keep his life intact, nor to live blissfully

Here he was now, sleeping in the 'comfort' of his own home, and so close to throw away all his hard work, by running away.

He, wrapped his arms around himself, trying to imagine, that someone was holding him and couldn't admit it but desperately clinged, on the thought of wanting to be embrace by someone comforting touch.

He wanted to be given whole hearted attention.

He wished, for someone to love him.

Macaque, stood up from his bed, his coarse hands grasped tightly on the edge of the desk, feeling impelled to stand properly despite knees shaking from the displeasing sensation that washed over him like a gust of strong wind.

Alas, Macaque dropped down on the marble floor like a raggedy ann doll, no longer having any strength to support himself nor call anyone to help, his insecurities knew no one would come for him.

Training, with the constant mindset that asking for help, was a weakness, became troubling at times, or always since it etched deep in is

His breath hitched, now taking sharp breaths before trying to stand up from the ground, but abruptly, a sudden glow of neon blue chains, attacked him.

The chains, restraining him, causing him to him paralysed upon impact.

Similarly in his dreams, bight neon blue eyes loomed over him in the sheer darkness.

"Even when my lady, has no use for you" The chains neared closer to the monkey's neck, as the voice cooed at him, with a sickening intent.

"You, are useful to me" The dark figure whispered, his knuckles caressing the monkey's jawline, the glow of the chains, illuminated his more prominent features, showcasing his sharp smile.

The grin growing wider and wider as he tugged on the chains, pulling Macaque closer

"I hope my lady, will accept this" Just by words alone, It was finally clear to him who this trespasser was.

"I've been such a obedient servant towards her, surely she'll accept, us being bound together!"

Macaque, choked at his words.

When he asked for some company

He didn't mean this.

The chains, moved around his body, like snakes, slithering around his skin.

Almost suffocating him.

It took a toll on him and lost himself to the state on unconscious. The last thing he witness was dark blobs clouded his vision before letting slumber take over him

"She might even call it, destiny?" The masculine figure, giggled like a child that was given their precious treats— their precious hard cold treats.

"Could you image that?" Muttering, the bone demon's voice was tinted with joy and swiftly took the overly long coat from his own body, then dropped it loosely around his beloved's shoulder

His bright eyes peered at Macaque's sleeping figure for a single moment, expressing regret due to the dried tears, on their cheeks, but he had a hint of impenitence swirled onto it. One would find it possibly difficult to explain the contradicting emotions in his eyes.

Despite how pitiful Macaque's expression was, the Mayor still found a bit of enjoyment to it, instead.

To find someone, so melancholy like the colours of their fur, was difficult.

To find someone, that experienced the same thing as the fiend's past, was close to none.

The bone demon's taste, when it comes to— partners, was unusual and certainly unique, to try and find someone so broken, that would desperately cling at the small ounce of attention.

So easy to wrap his chains around.

Chronically Ill people, online was a common way to find someone close to his distinctive taste, but they all end up, disapointing him, due to their 'vulgar' ways.

But someone like Macaque, that was close to perfect, he was so deprived of affection and he! This town's mayor would give him the affection he needs, little by little.

Lifting him up the ground, the methallic restrains clinking against each other, accompanied by a faint screeching sound.

He carried, him away from the doju, the wide doors open wide, by the gust of harsh wind.

The demonic figure could only hum, a joyous tune— to signify what he'd accomplished.

He shown no sense of morality, nor guilt for his actions, just pure joy! Knowing, that Macaque was finally in his arms, after months, long grueling months of stalking them around the corner.

It was a hush hush secret, but the Mayor, Oh! He was the one that caused the monkey to constantly be in a nightmare lucid state.

Just to make him vulnerable.

"Imagine, You and Me! Intertwined by destiny."

-THE MOTHER I WANTED; Reader is a princess from a VERY powerful family that even the yonko’s fear. Readers mother is harsh to them all their life but reader finds comfort from Big mom and sees her as a mother figure.

-“YOU ARE A MONSTER FROM HELL!” ; reader is Vivi’s sister and goes to Impel down to curse out Crocodile, This is the same time as Luffy breaking in and he recruits her to fight in marineford. Crocodile ends up saving reader constantly but she is always shutting down his advances.

-THE OTHER WOMAN ; Reader is in deeply love with Doflamingo and would do anything for him but he could not care less about reader. Corazon deeply cares about reader though.

-HEART TO HEART ; As the Straw hats are leaving Whole cake island, Sanji goes to get reader from the crows nest only to find out that they had sacrificed their life so that the crew could leave Whole cake island.

-“ITS JUST LIKE SEEING HER FOR THE FIRST TIME AGAIN.” ; Law sees afab! Straw hat! reader in Punk Hazard when he hasn’t seen her since Sabaody two years ago.

-“SO YOU WANNA MARRY, Y/N?” ; Different characters reactions to meeting their fiancés extremely wealthy family for the first time, the family tried to intimidate them.

-“YOUR BEAUTY NEVER REALLY SCARED ME.” ; Reader lives in a village where everyone is very unattractive, reader was considered unattractive in her village because she was the only pretty one. Reader wears a paper bag over her head to hide her “unattractive” face. Characters react to seeing readers face. (Hope this makes sense somehow.)

-“NEVER EVER GETTING RID OF ME” ; Luffy isn’t leaving tailor! Reader alone until they joins his crew.

-“WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO SAY TO YOU?” ; Reader is Kuina’s sister and blames Zoro for her death. Reader avoids talking to Zoro, he sees her in louge town and confronts her.

-“SMOKING CIGARETTES ON THE ROOF, YOU LOOK SO PRETTY AND I LOVE THIS VIEW.” ; reader can’t sleep after Enies lobby because they are scared that the government will try to steal Robin while they sleep. Robin can’t sleep either and the two enjoy each others presence on the roof.

-“THEY WERE BOTH FOUND DEAD… “SHE MUST HAVE BEEN OUT OF HER HEAD.” ; Robin smells a perfume that is similar to the one Nami would wear. Jimbei asks who Nami and Reader were, the archeologist explains how the two died. Yandere! Nami.

-GHOSTING ; Reader ate a devil fruit that killed her and made her into a ghost. Reader likes to mess with Straw hats but decides to move on to the after life when her crew gets bored of her and her antics.

-BEAUTY AND THE BEAST ; The Disney tale but Katakuri is the beast, Reader is belle, and Doflamingo is Gaston.

-SLIPPIN THROUGH MY FINGERS ; Reader looses her daughters life, different characters react as the other parent.

-“I CAN’T IGNORE YOU, DO ANYTHING FOR YOU” ; Eustass kid who is obsessed with his ghost gf that only appears at night, heavily inspired by ‘In my room by Insane clown Posse.’

-Characters react to you kissing them with your new lip stick.

-“HIDDEN IN THE SAND” ; Zoro and Reader get lost on an island and walk on the shore until they eventually find their ship.

-CHARACTERS THAT WOULD FALL IN LOVE WITH A TRAVELING TRADER READER.

-“IF I COULD TELL HER” ; Ace talking to Yamato about his crush on Whitebeards strong grand daughter.

-UNDERCOVER STRAW HAT! ; Reader comes to Dressrosa before the rest of the crew, Reader bumps into Bartolomeo who doesn’t recognize her as a straw hat because she is in disguise and he is very rude to her but he regrets it when he recognizes reader.

-STRAW HATS RECRUITING A TAILOR!! ; Straw hats come to an island to get a tailor for their crew, they meet the reader at a bar. The reader gets into trouble and the straw hats find out that reader is the islands best tailor and a total bad ass! Straw hats make reader join their crew.

-PRINCESS! READER WITH A LOT OF CONNECTIONS. ; Reader is daughter of the most powerful family in the world and has become friends with A LOT of princesses/princes/yonkos/kings/queens/warlords/ect.

-READER AND STRAWHATS WAKE UP AND THEY ARE SPLIT UP IN A WEIRD CAVE SYSTEM!! ; What it would be like if you woke up with different straw hats in a cave system that is set up with traps and different rooms.

-ROLLER COASTER ISLAND!! ; You and the straw hats arrive on a theme park island! Luffy sister! Reader.

-CHARACTERS HEARING READER LAUGH! ; Characters react to hearing Reader laugh for the first time, reader is insecure about their laugh.

-QUEEN OF THE DUEL!! ; Afab! Reader looses her tittle as “Queen of the duel” after loosing a duel. Reader has to kinda seduce the guy that beat her so she can prove he cheated. Sanji is a jelous little guy :)
