Why I think Nocturne is way better than the OG Castlevania series

Sorry, when I try to shut up about this show I be like

so here’s my unsolicited, highly biased word vomit that will contain spoilers at the end (but those will be under a cut) so read at your own risk! Okay, leggo

It’s actually diverse.

One thing about high fantasy is that it’s almost always Eurocentric. Even if it’s not set in Europe, the characters are gonna inexplicably have British accents because we associate that with high fantasy. We’re gonna have European style “old” clothing choices. And if everyone isn’t white, they might as well be because they’ll only throw in a couple ambiguously brown side characters and call it a day. Or if they make a main character a POC then best believe everyone around them will be white.

Nocturne, tho? Oh, you can tell it’s made with more than just a sprinkle of representation. They didn’t just make Olrox indigenous, they tied his Aztec lineage in beautifully. Annette was a slave but it’s not flattening her character because of it. Drolta came to slay but even she has her authentic background. Which leads me to my next point!

The Black characters especially are done tastefully.

Like… don’t get me wrong. I love Isaac. He was the only reason I stayed tuned into Castlevania past season 1, LMAO! But his backstory felt like straight trauma porn cooked up by a non-Black person who wanted an excuse to see a Black man whipped for character development.

Zodwa Nyoni wrote some episodes for Nocturne and she put her FOOT in it. When it came to addressing Annette’s time as a slave, her connection to the Orisha through her bloodline… I was gobsmacked at how accurate everything was and now I know why LOL! Like, for me, it’s always gonna be hard to see slavery in fiction but I can’t say shit bad about how it was tied into everything in this show. Annette’s ancestors play such a huge part in her growth and it just warmed my heart to see a Black girl whoop some colonizer ass without it feeling hamfisted. 🥹

The token relationship is the cishet one, everyone else is gay asf

I love that trope flipped on it’s head, ngl LMAO! I, by default, HC everyone as bi anyway but MAN was it nice to see Olrox and Mizrak speedrun enemies to lovers and a hint of Drolta’s devotion/gayness to Erzsebet.

I know the majority of my fictional character thirsting leans male but don’t get it twisted; I jump for JOY for gay shit in media 😂 The only reason I don’t thirst as hard for female characters is because I prefer my men fictional but my women real.

That being said, this series sent me into bi panic and I’d like to be manhandled in a room by Drolta and Olrox.

Nocturne’s first season plays out neater than the OG’s first season.

Like… okay. My main beef with the OG series was that after they defeated Dracula, the rest of the show felt like a meandering fanfic. Sure, there were a few badass moments, but the energy kinda faltered for me and I was bored with a lot of it. I hope they don’t do the same with Nocturne; they left off at a nice cliffhanger which builds anticipation for the next season and… idk it feels more cohesive already? They coulda speedran kicking Erzsebet’s face in like the OG trio did to Dracula but I’m so glad they left us a lil something to look forward to.

He looks more like his video game design this way too, which I love! I hate that he took out Cuntress McSlay tho 😔 Drolta I will always love you!!

hi! usually scared to send asks to people but i would like to hear your connor headcanons because i want to know the lore behind all of your extremely pretty connor drawings

HII omg dont be !! pls feel free to send stuff whenever !! ok so i have TONS of connor hc’s ( i’ve been writing as him & for him for years now ) but here’s my faves + the ones that are usually present in my art . ( gotta mention that some are very personal & self indulgent bc i see myself in connor a LOT 😭 ) tw for a quick mention of razors .

- i made a post abt this hc here but i’m adding it because it’s the main reason why i use a certain color for connor’s hair , & that is that connor is a ginger ( just like zoe & cynthia ) & he dyes his hair a darker color so he doesn’t look much like them ( & he doesn’t get associated with zoe much at school ) he usually uses a dark brown or even black , but it’s usually very sloppy so his hair ends up being patchy in some areas or just not dark enough .

- connor uses he / they pronouns mostly bc they’re very detached to his gender identity because they don’t feel human most of the time . connor looks in the mirror & doesn’t think ‘ boy ‘ , most of the time he thinks ‘ failure ‘ , ‘ disappointment ‘ , ‘ monster ‘ . he’s also unlabeled & mostly finds male presenting ppl attractive but has been with female presenting ppl a few times . ( i’ll mostly use he / him in tags but in my writing i will use both set of pronouns ! )

- ik freckles have been a recurring headcanon for connor throughout the years in the fandom but i wanna add it too bc his freckles mean so much to me . a connor without freckles is like an angel without its wings likeee ! ( i usually add freckles to charas that i like tho ) they are usually more present over his cheeks , shoulders & chest . some on his hands & thighs too . for a while , connor fucking HATED them , & i once wrote a lil thing where he even tried to remove a particularly big one near his lip w a razor . ( i add it to my drawings a lot , if you check it’s above the right ( his left ) corner of his lip )

- his hair length varies a lot in my stuff bc i’ll sometimes get carried away & make it longer for aesthetic or composition purposes , but i do believe connor would def let it get longer than shoulder length ( not small of his back like in some of my stuff , but definitely to half of his chest maybe ? ) larry def gives him shit abt it & only encourages him to keep it longer & longer .

- this is also a recurring hc but imma mention it too & that’s eyeliner . & tons of it . i’ll sometimes make it smudged bc connor will prob cry & it’ll run . once he’s done he’ll just apply more over it . & black nail polish too ofc .

DamiRae Hospital AU?

  No I am not writing one, if I could write well I would though! So here are some HCs for a hospital AU.    If someone decides to write this then I’ll be your first reader. Also I am sort of basing things off of Grey’s Anatomy just a bit and my limited knowledge of the medical field.

- Starts of as 1st year residents, specialties may vary

- The “Titans” are residents and 1st years that show great promise, this doesn’t really play a role its just what people call them behind their backs

- Dr. Kori Anders is a OBGYN (women parts and birth) resident, a year or two away from finishing

- Dr. Richard “Dick” Grayson is is a surgery resident, trained by the hospital owner Bruce Wayne (who is a world renowned surgeon, has awards, etc), specifically general surgery

- Dr. Garfield Logan is pediatrician (kid doctor) res, bonds well with kids, but is considering going back to school to become a vet instead

- Dr. Jaime Reyes is an oncology (cancer doctor), having had cancer as a teen and is now forever trying to rid the world of it, works mostly with kids and teens

- Dr. Jonathan Kent is a physical therapist that works with pain management. Up beat guy and is always trying to brighten his patient’s lives.

- Dr. Damian Wayne is a surgical intern, blood thirsty little thing, hoping to become a neurosurgeon (brain, spine) (or cardiothoracic (heart, lungs) both are competitive)

- Dr. Raven Roth is an anesthesiologist (the drug person that knocks you out) and is starting her surgical internship (she wanted to do more than just help people get high essentially or whatever) has no current preference for any specific surgical field

- Add in characters:

-- Dr. Jason Todd, trauma surgeon (fits too well)

-- Dr. Timothy Drake diagnostician (medical detective basically) 

-- Dr. Donna Troy gynecologist

-- Terra Markov is a nurse (i don’t like Terra but nurses are the actual best)

- Story stuff:

- Damian and Raven meet as they are put under the guidance of the same resident

-Damian has an automatic dislike for Raven because she knows everyone already and is equally, if not much more, knowledgable about surgery, the OR, the ER, protocol, etc  He also thinks she is cold because she rarely shows emotion (pot kettle Damian)

- Raven can always be found in the medical archives researching old cases and studying new ones, Damian stumbles upon her when looking for an old cardiomegaly case (enlarged heart).

- Raven gets along with all of the past ‘Robins’ making her a go to intern

- Garfield can be seen whenever he is not needed trying to flirt with Nurse Markov and often goes to Raven to sulk 

- Damian and Raven are always early to pre-rounds and are typically the first ones there (usually early in the morning, getting there before 500)

- Jon bumps into Damian more often than not and they start becoming friends (Damian is reluctant at first and is still you know Damian about everything), Damian even recommends patients to him 

- Though Damian doesn’t want to really ‘hang out’ with anyone he reluctantly hangs out with the Titans, because of Jon and Dick

            - When in a large group when at a bar, club or whatever Damian tends to stay close to Raven because 1) they actually have things to talk about 2) she isn’t loud

- Raven & Damian are both assigned to a case that is frankly befuddling and have to start spending long nights and early mornings together to figure it out

- Over that period of time they learn things about each other:

-- Raven learns: 

Damian has a dog (Titus) and cat (Alfred) 

He is single (Kori told her) and lives in an apartment close to the hospital

He has lived in various countries

He is trained in multiple martial arts 

He prefers his tea with brown sugar and a slice of lemon 

His eyes are a true emerald color with a ring of gold and flecks scattered within 

He may hide it well but when Raven compliments him he becomes flustered

He speaks to himself in Arabic when he curses, trying to remember something, doesn’t want anyone to know what he is saying

He isn’t always an asshole

When he actually smiles a true and genuine smile, she has heart palpitations

-- Damian learns:

Raven has two tattoos (neither are a bird), a gang tat (she is saving up to get it removed), and a mantra in Azarathian; Azarath Metrion Zinthos

She immigrated from Azarath when she was around 8

Her notes are in Azarathian

She actually feels a lot of emotion and knows how to control them

If she is not reading about a current or past case she is reading any book or file she can get her hands on, he has caught her reading in multiple different languages; Azarathian, English, French, Russian, Arabic, Dutch, Mandarin, (could be more or less)

She lives alone and has a cat, Nevermore, and thanks to Dick he already knew she was single

She likes all tea, no matter how prepared, but prefers the sweetener to be honey

Her hair is black but shines purple, especially under the ER lights

Her eyes are a purple that at first glance look blue, like Elizabeth Taylor, he realizes though her eyes are galaxies on their own 

When she smiles the world actually stops moving, her eyes shine like stars and he never wants the world to start moving again

She always wears a necklace with a gold and ruby ring at all times (it was her mother’s wedding ring)

- When Damian starts having le feelings for Raven he considers actually seeking medical advice as this has never happened to him before

- Raven tries her best to contain her feelings when at work, going so far as one day a month staying home just to scream, cry and feel her feelings

- It does not help that new feelings towards Damian start popping up, especially since he starts bringing her tea and hanging out with her at work

- During the middle of their 2nd year of residency someone holds Raven hostage in the hospital to fix someone that person loves (this person had connections to Trigon and knew who Raven was)

- That was not a fun time for either Damian or Raven; Damian was outside the hospital pacing trying to figure something out with the other Titans trying to calm themselves and him down

- Shots are fired and when all is said and done, Raven gets shot in the abdomen and the hand (she was in ICU for a hot sec)

- Damian seemed to be there every time Raven woke up, he was always checking on her during rounds even though he wasn’t on her case

- Raven did have to have surgery on her hand and in her abdomen (idk where i’m not getting that specific), she hated being, in her words, coddled 

- Even though Raven was right handed (the one that got shot) she learned how to do everything, writing, eating, going to the bathroom, etc. (many of the other residents are impressed since she keeps working on it after her other hand heals)

- Raven’s room also becomes a space for other residents to destress and just vent about their day. She listens and gives advice, all without looking up from whatever she was doing. 

- During this time Raven becomes hooked on Pretty Pretty Pegasus

- Raven’s room is also full of cards, flowers, etc all from fellow staff and some from patients. When she leaves (she spends a couple weeks in thanks to multiple surgeries, recovery, and other minor injuries) all of the gifts litter her apartment, the cards end up in a box by her desk, she presses the flowers, and stuffed animals are donated to children’s shelter (she keeps some that she has grown attached to)

- During this time Damian is more of an ass than usual (people notice and tease him)

- Damian at some points keeps working without breaks/sleep for hours on end. Dick pulls him aside after noticing, scolds and forces him to sleep in one of the on call rooms. (He really wanted him to go home, but Damian wasn’t leaving)

- Once Raven was discharged Damian and Garfield help her back home (clothes + gifts + Raven w/a healing hand/other injuries = need help) the other Titans would have helped but were needed at the hospital

- Garfield leaves after dropping off Raven and Damian (and her stuff) as he is called in on a Peds case (could be fake, may not be) and Raven & Damian spend the rest of the time basically watching terrible movies. (with Nevermore sitting on both of them)

- That is the night Damian realizes that not only does he like Raven, but he like likes her. He starts devising plans on how to get her to date him. 

- All his plans basically are thrown out the window because of one reason or another (he kept overthinking it)(poor guy)

- It is not until their 3rd year of residency that Raven realizes her feelings towards Damian (Have I made it clear she likes him? I can’t remember...)

- She realizes her feelings when she has to crash at his place for a night (because he lives ridiculously close to the hospital, like how expensive is that??) and he tries to make sure that she is as comfortable as possible 

- She never realized how much he cared for her? Like she was always helping him out and there for him but she never realized he reciprocated that care? *Shocker*

- Raven becomes kind of a mess because of all her emotions that she is trying to bottle up. (all the corks are disintegrating and the jar is overflowing)

- Raven is during her Ortho rotation (bone surgeon people, they are cool, ik from experience) that she actually gets a good release for her emotions (setting peoples bones and drilling and hammering in pins is actually therapeutic) 

- Raven thinks that may be the specialty she chooses

- Damian saw her as a mess and could not fathom why she was said mess, he figured it was about a romantic interest after someone made an offhand comment about her love life and she became a blubbering mess (very un-Raven like)

- After all of well *motions with hands* that Raven asks why Damian doesn’t have a s/o or someone

- He says there is only person that he has been meaning to ask out (looks pointedly at Raven)

- All Raven says is “Go for it.”

And that is where my HCs end. Now if anyone who happens upon this post decides to write a Medical AU with any of these please tag me, tell me, message me.

This took me a couple of days to write up, so if it is disjointed I apologize.

Part 3 of levihan children family fic hc outline idk what this is anymore.

(Part 1, Part 2)

Part 2 got wayyy too long so here's part 3 of that.

Recap: Levi and Hange had twins, Samson and Leighla (Sophie's aka drinkyourfuckingmilk levihan children ocs. Descriptions of their characters here except, I made a few minor changes to them) and currently, they're still 4 years old.

- So a week later, the twins are now attending preschool for the first time. Samson was excited, but Leighla was a little nervous.

- The kids at school found Samson very charming and were intimidated by Leighla, well.....except for one person.

- The teachers were telling fairy tale stories for story time and umm remember when I said Hange telling them the Grimm brothers original version?..... yeah.....Samson would constantly interrupt the teacher saying that's not true and would tell them the original story and Leighla would sometimes chime in.

- It was playtime and the kids didn't really want to play with them after all that, but Samson managed to charm his way into getting them to play with him and Leighla rolled her eyes and walked off.

- Leighla was sitting in the corner reading a book she brought with her (it was Cinderella) until she heard someone approach her. It was a girl with short, thick, wavy dark brown hair, thick black glasses, wearing a yellow headband, a white and yellow striped shirt, dark blue overalls, and yellow hightops (converse to be specific).

- "I like the book you're reading. Cinderella is my favorite story too. Mind if I sit?"

- Leighla shrugged and the girl sat down next to her and then continued talking and mentioned watching Into the Woods with her parents for family movie night and that version of Cinderella piqued (is that how you say it) her interest, but she's more into ghost stories (or monster stories).

- To Leighla, this girl strangely reminded her of her mom, maybe that's why she feels comfortable around her. Then Leighla blurts out her name unexpectedly.

- The girl giggled at her and offered her hand.

"I'm Ivelynn (eye-veh-lin), Ivy for short since my name is a bit long."

"Then, I guess you can call me Leelu, my family calls me that, sounds kind of weird."

"I think it's cute."

- The two got along really well and yes, Samson did meet her and took a liking to her since she genuinely wants to be Leighla's friend and the fact that she's her only friend.

- Levi picks them up from school.

- Samson definitely teases Leighla that she's her only friend and Leighla was going to punch him in the face until Levi told them knock it off.

- They told the 104th squad about their first day of school and the squad would complain about how hard high school is and to enjoy preschool while they still can.

- Samson brought up Leighla making a new friend and the kids congratulated her and asked that she should bring her friend over to the tea shop one day.

- As time passes, Leighla and Ivy has gotten closer, and Samson hangs out with her as well. They learned that she has two older brothers and they would try to scare her by telling her ghost stories and monster stories, but they only made her interested than frightened. They also learned that she’s very sporty.

- Hange got excited when she found out Leighla and Samson made a friend, and met her when Hange picked them up.

- Yes, the twins took Ivy to the tea shop and met the 104th squad and the staff.

- Levi thought she was alright and doesn't really care as long as the twins are happy.

- Sometimes Mikasa babysits Samson and Leighla (she’s the only one Levi trusts and Armin, but the 104th squad tags along with them anyways).

- Leighla loves how Mikasa does her makeup (i forgot to mention mikasa is a goth, basically the 104th squad are the same as who they are in the high school castle au) and she asked to give her a makeover and she did.

- Mikasa gave her a soft glam since she thinks giving her goth make up is too intense for a little girl.

- Leighla loves how she looks and Samson gave her somewhat of a compliment, “Wow sis, you don’t look as aggressive as you usually do. You should wear make up more often and maybe you won’t scare any kids away in school.”

- You can imagine the aftermath of that conversation.

- One day, on a lovely Saturday morning, Hange felt sick to her stomach and instantly went into the bathroom to throw up.

- Levi followed and held up her hair as she threw up. Hange then took the pregnancy test (she kept a couple spares in their drawers) and it came out positive.

- Since they can't leave the twins alone, they dragged them to the doctor's office for a check up and turns out she's almost 3 months pregnant.

Part 4 coming soon......hopefully....I haven’t started writing it yet.

Side note: yes i made an oc bc i wanted to give them (specifically Leelu) a friend, and here’s wat she looks like (i used picrew since I can’t draw to save my life, also imagine her with overalls instead of a hoodie and they don’t have darker brown hair, so....yeah) she won’t be too important since it’s not her story lol, but there might be something for her wen they get older 👀 but that’s looking a little too far into the future ;)

Heyyy I'd love to request a regular Tokyo revengers matchup if they're open? I would mostly like to be paired with a guy. I use she/her pronouns.

I'm 5'6 with shoulder length wavy hair, that is black on the top and then platinum blonde on the bottom (a little like Ran haitani). I have fair skin, and dark brown droopy eyes with a few freckles. I also have a hooked nose. I dress in whatever I think clothing looks cool. Usually a lot of colours and accessories get involved. It's usually very bold and get a lot of looks from people but I really don't mind as long as I feel beautiful.

I'm a very loud, fun loving, passionate, talkative and optimistic person. I care a lot about people but I can easily get very drained and forget to take time off for myself. I'm definitely an ambivert. I value humor, creativity, uniqeness and intelligence a lot. I am also a very emotional person and I overthink a lot and fear that people will judge me for who I am and how I dress. I like music a lot, I also do a lot acting. I also like collecting vinyls, watching movies in the theater, going to the forest, watching YouTube videos, travelling, going to art museums and reading classics. I also love hanging out with friends and meeting new people. I really enjoy looking at the stars while laying on the grass or going to parties. I really dislike when the weather is too hot, the dark and people not listening to me.

I think my ideal partner is someone who balances me out. Someone who isn't completely like me but can kind of be one with me (if that makes sense). Someone who also can surprise me and keep the relationship interesting so I don't get bored. Someone who can also bring me comfort and who'll protect me. For the sake of the matchup, I'll assume the two of you are classmates. Chifuyu probably had quite a few classes with you and even though he's busy with Toman, he still shows up to school quite often. He had this phase where he tried to act all cool and badass, but after meeting Baji he changed turning him into the best boy Fuyu we know now.

The two of you would talk in class every now and then just like how classmates would talk to one another. He's really friendly and approachable so you would feel nice talking to him. He'd greet you every time he walked past you, maybe a little small talk along the way. During class he's mostly lost in his thoughts, hiding his manga under his desk and reading it during the especially boring classes. The first thing he'd notice about you would be your hair, he puts a lot of effort to make his hair look as good as it is, so I hc that Chifuyu admires other people's hair.

I think as time went on, he'd take a liking to you stealing glances when you're not looking and wanting to increase his interactions with you just to get to know you better. He sees you talking to your friends and quite likes how optimistic and talkative you are. He'd slowly make more of an effort to talk to you, waiting by the door as you leave for your lunchbreak just to walk with you to the cafeteria and have a short chat with you. He might ask you a few questions about what you guys studied in class that day and would come to you every time he misses a school day.

One day after school, he might see you and offer to walk with you when he realises you're headed in the same direction as him. During this walk you might showcase your talkative side and he'll quite admire that. You might end up sitting together on a park bench to continue your conversation as well. He'd ask you about your likes and interests, ask you about your hobbies, favourite music and what type of manga you like to read. If you like cats, then he'd tell you about Peke J and ask if you'd ever like to meet him. (if you do, then he'd give Peke J a bath and might tie a bow tie around his neck when you do come to see him lol)

It might be easy for Chifuyu to approach you and talk to you, but that doesn't mean it'd be easy for him to compliment you. He'd be too shy to do that, it'll take him quite a while to say something. He'd buy all sorts of shoujo manga (especially the ones that you like) and try to get some inspiration from them as well as ask Baji for advice. He'll end up asking you if you'd like to walk around Akihabara on a weekday to go look at some vinyls and maybe buying some music albums. When he meets you there, he'll have hearts for eyes because I believe he loves people with a different sense of fashion and your bold fashion would really appeal to him; the different colours and accessories would catch his eyes. He admires your confidence and would be a smiling mess throughout. When you two go to a music store to buy albums, you best believe he'll buy you an album and play it off like he bought it for himself but he wants you to borrow it because he thinks you'll like it.

Every time he thinks about confessing to you, he'll turn into a blushing mess but he knows he has to do it soon otherwise someone else might confess to you. So he'll do it in the best possible way (according to him) he'll slip you a love letter in your locker and might just skip the rest of the day because he's so nervous!! When you tell him you like him too he'll just be so happy, he won't even know what to do from there.

Chifuyu would be such a good boyfriend to you! He'll boost your confidence, show you off (saying stuff like my girlfriend the prettiest thing ever, she's the sweetest etc), would hype you up, make you laugh and would pay a lot of attention to you. You'd always end up hanging with Baji and Chifuyu listening to music in his room and watching random videos on youtube. I hc that Chifuyu and Baji are the type to fill their mouths with water and watch try not to laugh challenges on yt. You'd never have a dull moment with him and he'll always walk you home and keep in constant contact with you just so he knows your safe. If you go out with your friends, he'll message you every now and then to make sure you're alright.

Chifuyu would design shirts for you (with impressive graphic designing skills) and be so excited when he gives them to you (he makes a matching one for himself too) and walk around wearing dying inside at the fact that you're wearing the shirt he made, and the fact that the two of you are matching like the cutest couple ever (sorry i love this kind of stuff)

Finally, dates with Chifuyu would be calm and sweet. Like walking around town, night walks in the park, star gazing, visiting new places, going to a manga store together. Any hangout with Chifuyu would be a date really. You'd have to take the lead in the relationship at first because he wouldn't ever want to do something that you might not like so he'll think twice before holding your hand, but when you do it and he knows you're alright with it, he'll start doing it more often too.

- akeno “KEITH” shirogane: (age: 19) [gay] hes japanese/black/galran. hes still half galra in this reboot bc i fuck with that honestly but hes got more visible galran traits. his bottom canines are larger than usual and poke out from his bottom lip so he wears a mask to cover his mouth and his eyes r still purple but instead of his sclera being yellow(tinted), hes just like. got some odd golden flecks in his eyes. he normally wears a dirty mechanics jumpsuit with the top half tied around his waist and a black or white tank top underneath (hes still a high school flunk out so he works full time at a car repair shop so hes able to buy food and shit at LEAST + hes still got his motorcycle to keep in shape). his casual clothes r just regular grey sweats, hoodies, and adidas or whatever brand is closest in their future lol. hes blood related to shiro who ill get to in a second.. shiros blood related to him as his uncle (brother of keiths dad) ALSO his hair isnt long in this reboot, hes got a short messy head of hair that he mostly just pulls back into a TINY little pony tail on his forehead (like in the game show ep) so it doesnt get in his face while hes working. he also has goggles bc thats the one thing from yalls reboot ideas i actually like (endgame lion: he momentarily pilots black during shiros disappearance but his permanent and stationary lion is red)

- fal’allura “fala, ALLURA” naguna’ephy: [lesbian] (age: 21 or close to that in alien standards) shes altean on her fathers side and teem (what we’re gonna call nymas race) on her mothers side. she bares more altean features except her eyes are solid yellow and shes only got four fingers on each hand. instead of crescent shaped facial markings, she has painted on red and golden lines across her nose and her upper lip. her hair (very dark purple with silver highlights and literal glowing, twinkling stars) is VERY long, brushing the floor as she walks except and (now bear with me cuz this might be hard to explain) her hair, the farther down u look kind of fades away? like it becomes semi to absolute transparent… idk how else to explain it but i hope u understand…. she does wear a crown but its more like a headdress.. (imagine beyonces headdress).. she doesnt wear it often, usually only on diplomatic missions to greet other worldly rulers bc its heavy and it makes her neck hurt :/.. her dress! looks like this! but a little more spiffy .. u know.. her casual/training clothes are just…. idk imagine a royal looking sports bra and leggings?? i guess … ALSO ALSO ALSO she can still shape shift but instead of limiting her shifting to just the changing of skin tone and height, she can completely mimic different alien species but only humanoid races.. like she can have those indented looking knees and huge ass horns and all that but she cant like. turn into an earth lizard u know what im saying. also also also also she still speaks with an accent just… not a british one….(endgame lion: no lion. she keeps leading and piloting the castle ship until destruction, where she leads and pilots the atlas)

- alejandro “LANCE, ale” reyes-leon: (age: 19 ½) [bi] hes cuban/black/vietnamese. his dad is black and vietnamese and his mom is cuban! hes got longish afro textured hair he keeps back in a pony tail most of the time like this or a bun when training bc hes too lazy to put any actual effort into styling it. hes got a couple moles/freckles scattered across his face and hes got sectoral heterochromiaaround his left pupil so theres a little bit of blue in one of his other wise dark brown eyes (like this).. i havent really figured out what his clothing style is.. i thought about keeping his clothes close to vld canon like his jacket (bc that was a really good jacket) but im gonna go a little wild here so hold on. he wears one of those surfer type looking skin tight turtleneck shirts underneath his heavy bomber jacket.. he wears just regular ripped jeans and hightops like in canon…….. hmm……. he wears a pink bead necklace under his shirt that was made by his little cousin just a couple weeks before he was shot off into space and he hasnt taken it off since…………. he also has a tiny stick and poke tattoo on his ankle he did when he was thirteen bc he thought it would look cool but it turned out kinda lop sided so he never takes his socks off in embarrassment (endgame lion: blue to red (during keiths reign as black paladin) then to black when shiro leaves voltron to lead the atlas alongside allura)

- takashi “SHIRO” shirogane: (age: 31) [gay] hes japanese/black. hes keiths uncle and the only family keith really has .. his design doesnt really change much except hes got long hair (like kuron) but its pulled up into a messy bun or pony tail.. in MY canon hes still gay and married to adam (whos name isnt adam i just cant think of a new name for him yet) (and adam lives dont worry) and theyre working on adopting a daughter before shiro has to leave for kerberos. shiro usually dresses in work out outfits so like. gym shorts… tank tops.. leggings.. imagine those white blonde dudes who always wear a man bun and only eat vegan and drink chai from starbucks bc thats exactly how shiro acts but ONLY ironically ……… when shiros abducted on the galra freighter and forced to fight in the ring, his hair streaks white but instead of just a clean scar across his nose, he has multiple long scars scattered across his face from a one x one between his face and some debris thrown at him by a gladiator. his prosthetic looks and remains kinda the same i guess but this time its decked out with claws on the finger tips so it looks a little more galran yeah? (endgame lion: no endgame lion. he pilots the atlas alongside allura)

- francesca “frannie, frankie, PIDGE” eleonora: (age: 15) [trans girl lesbian] shes . just italian i guess. so anyway shes not gonna be an asshole bitch like canon pidge.. shes gonna be the caring sweet but KINDA mean little sister we always wished we had.. the little sister who would tell u, with all honesty, that ur winged eyeliner was smudged before u hit the town with the girls and made a fool of urself……. ANYWAY shes still gonna be the ‘hacker’/computer geek techno girl but not as much ykno? shes JUST a little girl so she just kinda does her own thing. i rlly like all the fanart i see of her wearing overalls and stuff SO thats her canon design…… she wears faded overall jeans over a short sleeved pale pink tshirt w a dog one it and scuffed up chucks. she wears glasses but instead of just taking them from matt she has an actual prescription and is basically blind without them. i literally cannot stress this enough but shes such a nice girl like the team pretty much adopted her as their little sister the moment they boarded the castle ship. idk what else to add on to her!!!! i literally did not put any thought into pidge at all! HUNK in my au is more of a tech freak/engineer than pidge so he handles most of that stuff with the occasional help from pidge (like wiring… she has tiny fingers that can grab the wires easier) hunk probably wears the crocs/sandals with socks combo but just because he loves hearing lance bitch about it whnever he struts into a room. hunk also looks good in his vest so im gonna let him keep that but it looks more modified… like it has a bunch of pockets and stuff to keep bolts and nuts and other stuff he needs to work with.. thats also why he wears cargo shorts; just for the pockets.. You can find your boy in skinny jeans and a pair of slip-on Pumas that Varric bought him for his birthday, and, surprisingly, ballet flats (gendered clothing? He doesn't know him). Cole prefers light weight shoes that he can run around in quietly; he's not a fan of being noticed to a point. As for shirts and jackets, he likes wide-neck tees with an old-as-balls leather, brown jacket that no one knows where he got it and is afraid to ask. Wears brown gloves all of the time but, like his jacket, no one knows why and he won't tell. Varric knows, however, and he believes it's not his secret to tell. Sometimes he wears shirts he made himself for when he's out and about, but he sticks to eco friendly and ethical clothing products to the best of his ability because that boy is broke. He shops for clothes MAYBE once every year and a half, despite Varric and Dorian trying to get him to go out more frequently. You cannot, no matter the occasion or universe, get him to part with his floppy hat. He'll wear concealer and faint, gray eye shadow for his eyes per Dorian's suggestion.

He loves white clothes with his black, leather jacket. White button-ups or low neck tees and white pants (jeans or slacks, it doesn't matter). The guy has expensive tastes so his shoes are always stylish running shoes that look more like flat sneakers than anything practical. Similar to Cole's Pumas but about $200 dollars more. Blame his step mother Amanda... He doesn't wear make-up but his hair is saturated with about five different products. All organic because he's one of those people.

Sorry it took some time but I was definitely inspired by the idea that I wrote a lot of pages. So this is the first part of the fanfic hoping you’ll like it. I tried to make something a bit different that what I used to read on the same theme.

The Child of The Red Hood/Jason Todd x Reader (PART 1)

           He had failed. He had failedeverything. He had failed Gotham. He had failed his friends. He had failed hisfamily. The Red Hood was a failure. Jason Todd was a failure.

           Helooked at his red dusty mask between his hand, staring at his own reflection.He was not the handsome young vigilante he used to be. He had salt and pepperhair now and even some crow’s feet in the corner of his blue eyes. Hell, evenhis brown leather jacket looked old and damaged. But most of all he had lost allof his mischief and his signature sarcasm.It made him laugh mirthlessly. Howpathetic he was. Time had definitely fucked him up. Or was it rather thealcohol? or his miserable life? or perhaps a bit of everything?

           Heput down the mask on the table nearby when he heard the sound of footstepsbehind him.

 “ Todd. Believe it or not I’m gladyou are here” Damian Wayne. He had changed too, but in a good way. Lucky him.He was not the little obnoxious brat anymore. Apparently you were not the kind of girl that tends to do things byhalf.You went to stand by Damian whileDick approached a table placed in the middle of the room. The new Batmanglanced at you with a smile. A smily Damian? That was new.

           Ahologram of Gotham appeared on the table.“ Luke sent me information concerningthe Kanes’ new project. Apparently they released their robotic soldiers inGotham’s underground to flush us out.”          “ How could they find us? Drake conceived this hideout so that no one couldenter without prior authorisation.”       “ I guess they somehow found a breach when they tortured Tim to death. They aimto blow us all with a bomb”       “ So what’s the plan. We leave?”   “ We could but the explosion will make the underground foundations collapse andArkham Asylum along with them.” The mention of a potential explosion made Jason shiver. “Thebomb is remote controlled from Wayne Tower according to Luke. I need a team toinfiltrate the tower and hacked the system to prevent the explosion.”  “ That doesn’t explain why I’m here.” Jason said a bit annoyed. You glared athim, definitely not happy to have him here. “ That should reassure you. Perhapsyou won’t be needed after all.”     “[Y/N]” Dick sighed. “What? I don’t see why we would need this coward.” “ A coward?” Jason was offended. “Listen to me, little girl. I was doing this jobway before you were born and I lost so many things, so many people I loved todo it. You can tell me I failed them all but don’t you ever call me a cowardagain.” You remained still and stern, definitely not affected at all by hiswords or ready to give him right.“ Tim died. So did Bruce and Barbara. Dick lost his leg and God knows what happened to Stephanie. Butyou, you left the fight, you abandoned us. If that’s not being a coward, whatis it? You don’t deserve to be among us.”“ All right that’s enough” Dickyelled. He immediately coughed and started hyperventilated. You ran towards himto give him his Ventolin. “I’m sorry.” Dick patted your shoulder and kissed yourforehead tenderly. “It’s okay [Y/N]. Damian can you keep going?” “ Sure. I’ll lead the infiltration with Cassandra. I know the place by heart.We should be able to defuse the bomb and handle both Colonel Kane and Kate.[Y/N] and Todd you’ll stay here to repel the enemy and prevent them fromsetting the bomb.”

You groaned discreetly not likingthis plan. “Why can’t I come with you?” You asked disappointed and bit offended not to be part of the biggest part of the mission. Jason raised an eyebrow. Okay youdidn’t like him but that didn’t mean you had to be so despicable. “ I’d rather want you here.” Damian said grabbing you by the hands and staringat you right in the eye. Talking about proximity. “Fine.”            “ I didn’t say I agreed to do it.” Jason said. You had this defying look thateveryone noticed though you decided to remain silent by respect for Dick. Hewas like the father you never had. He had taken you in when you were still aninfant, raised you and taught you everything.“ Jason,you’re the only one I trust that can do this. If there had been someone elsethen I would not have bothered you.”  “ Pretty sure I can handle the A.I robots on my own.” “ Oh really little bird. How?” “ I can fight. I don’t need some old outlaw with two guns to back me up.” “ You mean you’re the one who’s gonna back me up, kiddo”“ We’ll see that, old man” You said before leaving the room with a defying andsatisfied smile.

          When youleft, Jason frowned a bit dubious. “Did I just accidentally accepted just toshut that little girl’s mouth?” “ I believe you did, Todd.” Damian said. “ But don’t worry [Y/N] often tend tomake everyone do that.” And he left with a smile that let Jason a bitsceptical. “ I’m glad you’re in and I’m sure [Y/N] is too.”“ I doubtit. That kid despises me.” “ Just give her a chance. She might surprise you.” Jason stayed silent for ashort while. Bruce had told him the same thing: Give people a chance. Theymight surprise you. Omg you are so kind nonny (wink wink i know who you are lol).

The fact that you decided to ask lil ole me these questions about Dr. Harry Carlyle isn’t lost on me. This of course means you value my opinion; that you find something worthy in what I infer; and that perhaps you see my interpretation of the character worth comparing to yours. I’m by no means overstating it when I say this is a really high piece of compliment I received, and I think it’s also a testament to how good Bioware is at writing side characters (and how bad they are at expanding the universe and lore for them!). 

With all that out of the way, I want to emphasize that everyone should join in with their thoughts and answers as to the character of Harry Calyle. Make a post and tag me, because I am curious what y’all think. I also cannot repeat enough that this is my headcanon, and that whatever I come up with is mere speculation.

3. Oh my god he had to be a good cook. I imagine anyone who had to go through med school probably picked up real good extreme survival skills, like learning how to make cantonese style noodles from ramen packs lmao. I’d also imagine that - like most doctors - Harry had a more privileged upbringing, so he is probably a food connoisseur and likes to experiment with white wine sauces and shit.

5. Well, technically if we’re pairing him with Ryder, I’m afraid one of his kinks includes dating younger people. Usually older men dating younger people have made a pattern out of it somehow (or at least relishes a similar dynamic). I don’t mean to pathologize the good doctor because i love him too, but that’s primarily why I see this ship as a sinking angst ship

Like I feel like any good parent would think those things, and I think kid!Ryder has to make a really strong case for Alec not to kill Harry.

8. I think at first Harry is a bit worried about what SAM can do, in the same way most people fear something that appears omnipotent and unrestrained. However, I think spending more time with Ryder will get Harry used to SAM. He’ll appreciate his sarcastic humor (which both of them have tbh), and who knows he might grow to get addicted to how helpful SAM is on medical stuff too.

Because it’s his nickname and it’d be about him. Possibly like a slice of life, following this little Samoan boy through his life journey to get where he is, in which he would be the main character to maximise emotions and the treatment he deserves side eyes Voltron writers. Could potentially be non-sci-fi and follow him through college in his goal to become an engineer for NASA? Either way, give me a lead that isn’t a straight white middle aged guy. Q2 :   what  would  their  soundtrack / score  sound  like ?           A2 :  Instrumental indie that can lead up to instrumental upbeat, chuck some piano in one song, then throw in some hearty drums and bass.  Q3 :   why  did  you  start  writing  this  character ?           A3 :  I generally like playing sweet characters with sarcasm that might otherwise be seen as a background character.
