Really wanted to share my DnD character, because I love them. This is Pip'let The Thri-Kreen. They're for a Spell Jammer campaign, and they've already eaten one (1) elf alive. It's ok, he was a slave trader trying to sell the party. Some Character Info if anyone's curious:

Their full name is Tik-Tiak-Pip-La'kt, mostly a bunch of ticking and popping sounds. (Goes by They/She :>)

They're still young and are about 4'9. But weighs about 219 pounds. (Adult thri-kreen can reach 10 feet and 600 pounds lol)

I gave them fluffy moth features. Because I can.

As a thri-kreen their carapace has chameleon properties, so they can shift their colors around however they like. This extends to their fuzz. Their fuzz also sticks like glitter and cat hair, it's never gone. They use it to mark 'allies'.

They're a Wildfire druid, which... They're not thrilled about.

They lost their hand to a beast attack, which instead of scaring them led to them being fascinated with wildlife and animals and studying them, which allowed them to help their pack avoid dangerous situations.

They know how to write, albeit only in Druid Script. They have to get a scribe to transcribe the writing for others.

They like books, and used to have a fairly large collections of miniature journals.

No one will let them pilot the ship for some reason. Backstory Stuff:

Their Original Pack was different than normal thri-kreen packs. Had many leaders that performed various leading roles, like Navigation, Trading, Hunting, etc. The Navigation Leader, called "Starseer" by the humanoids the pack interacted with, was a sort of de-facto leader of the whole pack - implied to be the founder of their Super Pack and who might have a history among the stars...

The Original Pack often escorted caravans or guarded settlements in exchange for goods and whatnot. This is how Pip'Let got their "name", as well as their journals and false hand - which was a direct gift after giving the locals some transcribed pages about local monsters.

The Original Pack also didn't have any wildfire druids, most of the younger members were mentored by the Leaders, who had different specializations. Pip'Let was originally slated to become a Star Circle Druid, aka a navigation expert like Starseer. (So basically Starseer was their dad)

The Original Pack would seek out Thri-Kreen nests and take in the newly hatched young Thri-Kreens, though sometimes later on members would break away into a new, smaller pack to go their own way. No conflict or tension, they would be allowed to go if they felt it was needed.

Their Original Pack was butchered and burned. Very few remained and scattered.

They're hunting down the ship they saw that day, in retaliation and to try and reclaim a lost magical item that belonged to Starseer. Some fun Thri-Kreen quirks:

Zero concept of what friends of family are. There is Pack and there is None-Pack.

Thri-Kreen can't speak. They speak telepathically, which means they can speak to anyone.

Had a long, in character discussion about what a pet is, and Pip'Let's take away was "A thing you can eat later or is useful."

I made their style of speaking very halting and put together almost like a command line structure. They say "whhhhy" and "mmmmmmm" a lot.

Always collect free food when available. They may or may not have an elf ribcage in their backpack for emergencies.

Has giant hidden mandibles (which I should draw sometime).

What the fuck is sleep. I have literally made an entire history for the backstory of this character and I love them. They would not hesitate to crush my head very if there was a need for it. They befriended a beholder by drawing them. I love them an unspeakable amount.

-will go through your likes on twitter and grit his teeth if he saw you liked a man/celebrities selfie, god forbid their a male friend because he will spiral into convincing himself that this is like cheating (you two have spoken once) and he has to do something about it

-if he saw you simping for someone casually he would have to step away and let his anger out in the gym because otherwise he would start weighing the pros and cons of murdering Henry Cavill or something

Konig is an old-fashioned stalker who doesn't have time to literally stalk you, he is a busy man with a busy life, so he catches up with your socials instead!! More under the cut

He googles every term he doesn't understand, and reads recaps of whatever show you were watching, just so he could save time on actually watching it. He writes everything in a diary, every little detail because he knows a bit about internet safety from Hutch and he just knows that this precious data is far more protected in the front pocket of his vest, in a tiny and scrawny notebook. He saves every picture and prints it, just to see every tiny detail. Your favorite color, your favorite decorations. You like pink sanrio fluffy style of decor? He doesn't understand it, and don't see a point in just adding to the clutter, but he will buy you as much Hello Kitty and My Melody stuff as possible. Something minimalistic, but expensive? He understands it a bit more, and he is happy to finally use his money for something nice and not just beer. He would be grinning like a cat with the cream if you like video games -- especially the ones he likes, the violent action ones. He can't let go of the war even at home, and having a perfect game when he doesn't actually have to worry about being in danger but putting as many enemies down as possible is nice, really. You would have to explain the point of Minecraft to him though. The celebrity crush one omg!! Konig is insecure because if you like more normal, traditionally attractive male celebrities, he just knows he can't compete. However, there has to be something wrong with you if you really like Konig, so he doesn't mind - after you stop liking those celebs of course. God save you if you have some porn in your twitter likes - he would try to implement it in your sex life. Bondage? He already knows how to make really good knots. Cnc? It's basically your whole sex story already. He would never let you forget about every embarrassing little picture you liked, and he enjoys thinking of you as a perverted thing that needs some good punishment. If you do cosplay...oh boy. Even the most normal costumes are a good jerk-off material for him. Even if you cosplay male characters, he'd find a way to sexualize you -- it's not really nice of him, but this old man finally got what cosplay means and he is not letting go of this knowledge.

Helluva Rewrite (and some of my personal doodles)

Alrighty, so I finally found the motivation to draw up the entire I.M.P crew and finalize their designs! Introducing my version of the new and improved Immediate Murder Professionals!

I'm so freaking lazy so I didn't add shading or anything extra like that because ughhh. I also decided on some defining traits for imps depending on their ring, but only for the gang and the rings we've seen in the show so far

Wrath imps are larger, stronger, and spikier than other imps. Lust imps have varied bodies, but all have heart shaped barbs on their tails and leathery wings on their lower back. Greed imps are more slender than other imps and often wear jewelry. Gluttony imps are small and fast, high metabolisms so they can gorge. Sloth imps are easy to identify because they usually are just lying there doing fuck all and lack barbs on their tails.

Also, the scarring for imps is the same. White markings indicate scars. In the show I feel like it’s hard to tell what’s a scar (like Blitzo’s facial marks) and what’s a birth mark (like Moxxie’s freckles) so for my own sake, white marks are scars, black marks are birth marks or tattoos, end of story. Millie got her scars from fighting in the wrath ring, Blitzo got his scars from the explosion, and Moxxie’s freckle-like scars are cigarette burns. Should also note that imps are immune to hellfire, but not normal fire because... uhhh idk honestly it just seems more logical.

I kinda wanna show off my own imp designs for my little demon thing because helluva boss posts get traction and I just wanted someone to see them, so if you only came here for helluva content, feel free to stop reading lol 

Okay, so I wanted the imps to all look like the same species but at the same time not at all. Essentially the imps in my series are based more on folklore surrounding them. In christian folklore imps are straight up evil, but I want all of my imps to just be little guys. Look at em, they’re just little guys. Imps were sometimes thought of as the familiars of witches, taking forms of different animals, so I wanted some of the imps to look animalistic, but it’s their behavior that reflects it more (which is hard to show in a still doodle). Also the imps are just color coded here so I know which is which, imps aren’t actually these specific colors in my world. 

Greed imps tend to bind themselves to objects that they particularly adore – in some tellings imps were bound to objects like crystals and could be summoned by their masters. So Greed imps often have a specific item bound to them that they guard with their lives.

Sloth imps are the most harmless when they’re tired, it’s when they’re awake that they become the full on imps of folklore. They’re often paid in sugar cubes and used as servants in the sloth ring. 

Gluttony imps are alluding to the fae origin of imps in Germanic folklore, having wings and being generally bug like and little shits. I wanted them to look like pixies almost.

Envy imps are the more attention seeking type who play tricks on humans to garner a reaction. Tricks such as attempting to drown people and such – harmless fun, you know? They’re actually a little based on Kappa I'll admit. 

Lust imps have the habit of snatching babies, as in a lot of demons associated with lust (such as Lilith) tend to be obsessed with babies/pregnancy. The lust imps are nearly infertile, so they love taking babies to raise, then discard them once they’re annoyed.

Pride imps are based on the Lincoln imp (in short an Imp threw a rock at an angel and got turned into stone). They’re fluffy and covered in shiny fur since they live in the frozen layer of hell. Their horns are the largest of all imps, and their biggest source of pride – like if they break their horns, they’d rather die than live with the shame because their horns don’t grow back. 

Wrath imps are based on the old art of imps you can find – bald little creatures with horns and tails. They’re the more feral animalistic imps, often acting on pure instinct and lacking much social structure. They do tend to exercise in their own way, as strength is their greatest feature. 

Anywho if you read all that omg thank you for feeding my ego teehee. But for real, as much as I hate digital, I did enjoy drawing out the imp gang, I might (keyword MIGHT) draw out some rewritten scenes in comic format the most daunting part is actually doing it lmao.

I probably won't shove my own stuff into posts too often, I mostly did it because I wanted to compare my ideas for Imps to Viv's because I think mine are better sorry not sorry lmao. I like to actually research what I'm doing and incorporate it into my art and creations because i think of it like little easter eggs for people who like the things I like. Viv's version of Hell is my least favorite mostly because everything she does feels like bible fanfiction written by a middle schooler who thinks shouting penis in class is the peak of comedy.

Vampire Vere would be ruthless before he really falls in love with reader. He's greedy and wouldn't think twice about draining someone. But tbh I think when he gets close/serious with reader he'd still be greedy and messy and shit but he'd drink readers blood like it's fine wine. He gets his main fix from other victims but really savours reader. Expect it to be extremely bloody tho, he likes it to look like a crime scene xD

Leander for sure tries to kinda hide it. Not hardcore, bit he tries not to tell EVERYONE. He won't go our of his way but also you wouldn't know by just looking at him. I also think he'd be hesitant to drink from his SO and would make it way romantic, or at least he'd try

Mhin would go out of their way to hide that their a vampire. Would NEVER EVER dream of drinking from a person. They and up having to do it but they won't be happy. Also if their SO asked for them to drink their blood Mhin would refuse 100 times before agreeing. Feels very bad that they actually enjoyed it.... Might have gone a bit overboard too (vere did find out and tease them to hell and back fs)

Vampire Vere would definitely not think twice about murder. MC would find him dabbing at his crimson lips with bloodstained, monogrammed handkerchiefs more often than not. And when he wants to feed from his beloved? It’s an entire show he puts on. They get a candlelit room, a nice hot meal, tons of fluffy pillows and blankets…the whole nine yards, before he leans so close, his breath runs across the nape of their neck. “You smell delightful,” he whispers, a firm kiss pressing to their skin. “I’m sure you don’t mind that I eat after all of this preparation I’ve done for you, hm?”

Leander DEFINITELY tries to hide it. There are rumors, of course, swirling around Eridia, but no one really knows what’s true and what’s not. Turns out, being a contracted killer really helps conceal his vampiric identity! He can easily do away with bodies and no one will ask questions. Why do criminals keep appearing with two holes in the same spot on their neck? Weird. Maybe someone should hire Leander to look into that and find the culprit…and of course, he’ll take MC along for the journey, which seems a bit more roundabout than it should be. If he needs to feed during the trip, then perhaps they’re a good source of sustenance. After all, does it matter if his beloved knows his secret? They won’t tell a soul unless they’re trying to get themselves mysteriously killed too…

Mhin would never drink from a person…unless they’re absolutely starving to death. Even then, I imagine it to be a moment of disgust with themself—retching and vomiting the first few times they feed, then admitting they need to drink blood for their survival and doing it as humanely as possible. They knock out their victims and only drink until the hunger has barely subsided. They choose spots beneath clothes where marks could be mistaken for bug bites. Mhin struggles to admit they like MC’s blood more than anyone else’s; they really wish they didn’t, but they can’t get enough of it, to the point that they find it difficult to sleep beside them at night without absentmindedly running their fangs along MC’s skin. They’re just so hungry around their partner. Maybe…just a little sip…

Ais is a voracious beast and doesn’t try to hide his vampiric nature even a little bit. Everyone knows he’s dangerous, and everyone avoids him like the plague. And naturally, Ais with Vere is…horrifying. There’s a lot of begging for him to give mercy and let them live, but he’s no fool. If he lets too many of his victims live, then surely people will find a way to gang up on him. While that’s an interesting proposition, he’s not sure he wants to fight a dozen weak-ass humans when he’d much rather fight someone of his own caliper; humans are just too pathetic. When he meets MC, he’s constantly teasing them with flashes of his long fangs. “Scared? Should be, little sparrow,” he says, scrubbing dried blood off of his knuckles. He even sneaks up to feed from them, thinking MC will just be another victim, but somehow becomes smitten with their taste instead. They should be savored. It’s much more satisfying tasting them on occasion than devouring them whole so quickly.

Kuras is meticulous. He’s very much prone to drawing blood through proper means and drinking it from simple testing tubes in shot-like doses. If a patient needs a transfusion or a blood test, he’ll simply take an extra vial or two as payment. Yes, he feels guilty at first, but he can’t allow himself to starve when he needs to help the people of Eridia as a consequence of his terrible past. When MC is discovered practically bled out and armless, he makes sure to put them back together and doesn’t take a sample, not even a little, but he strongly considers it. He even has to wipe drool from his lips because they simply smell so strongly of beautiful blood. When they get closer to him and realize his true nature, he offers little more than a calm smile. “Would you like to sustain me as well, or do you prefer our current partnership instead?”

unpopular opinion by the general public and ADA, but Nikolai is actually a decent Alpha!! the only downside is that u basically r in terrorist protection program for the rest of ur life 🤷‍♀️ and your boyfriend murders people in his spare time for fun but that’s a different moral dilemma.

but in all seriousness, Nikolai’s Omega is going to have to be all in from the moment they meet. Nikolai is the same. I get the sense that he lives in a very black-or-white world with little to no greys. If you are down for this man, the first couple of words out of your mouth need to be, “Wow,” followed by, “I need to be your Omega.” Otherwise he’s not going to listen to you and just keep rambling about birds and free will, then murder you. This will give him a moment’s pause, where you will get to plead your case on why you should be his Omega or appeal to his Alpha. Make it good. Nikolai will treat it like a game show and weigh the pros and cons.

If you manage to somehow make him blush, through complimenting his… techniques or get slick at his scent, Nikolai will cut the game short and whisk you away to the nearest bed to claim and knot you immediately. You aren’t getting away after that.

He’d also do very well with an Omega who is more straightforward. Being Fyodor’s second hand can be a bit… complex sometimes, and it definitely wears on him more than he lets on. I see Nikolai having his own twisted logic and Fyodor’s style of being dismissive, forcing his own games to played, and being so underhanded sometimes tires Gogol, regardless of how much he admires Fyodor. He wants to have his riddles untangled. He wants to just be told the truth to his face. An Omega who is blunt will get very far with him. He’d constantly bug you and try to make you smile or laugh. He would commit disgusting crimes in front of you just to see a shocked look on your face. He tie you up and force you to solve his puzzles before a timer runs out just to smell your scent mix with fear. He wants to make you show your emotions. He would love that challenge. Even if you despise him, he’ll still try to claim you. If that doesn’t work, there’s always stalking, kidnapping, and Stockholm syndrome. He can also be very manipulative.

In short, Nikolai will decide to claim you in a split second decision, if he feels like something about you appeals him. There’s no dating. At first.

Nikolai is a very clingy Alpha. Very clingy. I am on the verge of considering him a Yandere. Until he fully trusts you (which will be a while, consider he JUST MET YOU AND ALSO TRIED TO MURDER YOU) you’re gonna be on house arrest. By which I mean that you can go anywhere, it doesn’t really matter because he can find you no matter what, but you can’t talk to anyone. He will kill anyone who tries: Alpha, Omega, or Beta and apologize, lying to your face about them aiding your escape or whatever. He would think it hot if you encouraged him or ignored his actions (not him. his ACTIONS), wouldn’t really care of you scolded him or got angry. Just would shrug and remind you that you’re his Omega, his instincts want to protect you (lielielie- Nikolai is POSSESSIVE). And you better believe he’ll know. He will constantly have a portal open, watching you, ready to grab you at anytime. Not even cashiers are safe so it’s honestly better just to stay wherever he’s put you up and order whatever you need.

Yeah, your job? You’re gonna have to quit. Nikolai’s House Arrest extends to quite literally everyone. Get a new phone with no personal contacts. Make your family think you’ve died. Nikolai will even help you. But once you’ve fallen into his hands, you ARE his. He can amuse you, take care of you, he can be your everything, you don’t need anyone else.

After you’ve gain his trust (or the Stockholm syndrome is in full effect, whichever comes first), he’ll be a bit more lenient and let you out of his sight, but would still feel an awful amount of jealousy in his gut if he spies you talking to other people; God forbid it’s another Alpha. He’d lovebomb the hell out of you, then go and kill them when you’re sleeping off the 3 rounds he put you through. He’d really rather be the only one you talk to.

This Alpha loves to have you by him and would keep you there all the time if he could. He feels off when you aren’t by his side. Unfortunately, due to the nature of his ‘job,’ that’s not always the case. And if he knows there’s even a risk of danger, he’ll leave you in a safe place. Usually an extravagant hotel or a mansion he’s bought just for you in an undisclosed location. It’s usually filled with whatever your heart desires, desires you didn’t even know Nikolai knew about. If he’s just filming more propaganda or torturing, he’ll bring you along if you want. It won’t be pretty, but if you’re into that. Or if you just love him enough to want to do whatever makes him happy.

He would fuck you in the blood if you helped him or came on to him during that time. 100% turns him on seeing covered in the sticky, viscous liquid. Would compliment you on how “red is your color.” Nikolai loves an Omega who gets their hands dirty. Might even drive him into a rut.

Despite his occupation and image, when it comes to his Omega, Nikolai can act like a puppy for your love and affection, but it goes back and forward. He’ll beg you for kisses, other times he’ll just take them. He’ll portal in front of your face when you’re in line to check out and smooch you, leaving everyone confused. He’s a waist grabber too. He loves to pull you against him and feel your warmth as he shoves his tongue down your throat, then pull away like nothing happened and continue whatever rant he was on. He’s also a biter. Loves to mark you with bruises and bites, so… invest in a scarf.

He might seem innocent and innocuous and he partly is, but the choices he gives you are never really your own to decide. Like asking you where you want to go on a date. Which is sweet of him to even allow, considering you’re basically his hostage. You can’t say that you’re too tired, because he’ll whisk you away to Paris despite your objections. He does make it worth it though.

He wants to have his hands on you 24/7. They’re so big and warm too, that it’s really hard not to want them on you. He loves hugging you from behind and resting his chin on your shoulders, one hand sneaking up, one hand sneaking down, fingering you until your slick drips down his wrist and then he’ll bite the tip of his glove… slowly pull them off, tasting you and the leather… and yeah. Rest of your plans be damned. You’re on his knot.

You’re the only one (besides Fyodor, who sees every side of everyone) that usually sees Nikolai’s softer side. He’s the type of Alpha who cuddles you to his chest at night, then wakes you up to breakfast in bed. His sadistic side is somehow quelled by you. He loves when you trace your fingers against his chest and can depend on him to be with you through your heats no matter what. He’ll massage your stomach if the cramps get too bad but it does leave you wondering why he didn’t just knot you like any other Alpha would do, your thoughts trailing back to his “free will” phenomenon. Are these his choices or yours? Do you have any impact on what he does or not?

It’s partly part of his own game. He likes to see what makes you tick, but he refuses to break his favorite toy. He walks the fine line between breaking you in and breaking you completely.

His ruts are another story. Without you, he was rather tame and usually just ignored his wants completely. Of course, he finds a release in other ways… usually by murder. Let’s just make that clear. He’s still quite blood thirsty. But with you…

He’s completely unhinged. Gives into his desires in the worst possible way, free will be damned when he has an Omega, his Omega, on his cock. He’s brutal, so be prepared. Takes you doggy style, jackhammering into you, pressing up against your womb until the pressure is almost unbearable, pulling your hair back, you along with it, contorting you into unnatural positions until he finds his release deep inside of you. Refuses to cum anywhere that’s not inside of you. Leaves you scratched and bruised, hips and hole sore with how rough he is. His knot is huge too. Don’t be surprised if your sheets get bloodied.

Despite the murder, which is a BIG despite, Nikolai is probably in second place for best Alpha you could have. Mainly because of the murder. And his conflicting personality. And the other unsavory practices within your relationship. But he takes care of you so well. And he will always protect you.

Let’s be honest here. How the hell did you even get in this scenario. Fyodor really isn’t one to take an Omega or even look for romantic interest in general, so being here is kinda a realm of extreme speculation. Why are you here? What is so extraordinary about you that led this man to you, first of all, and how do you get him to indulge in his most suppressed self? How do you keep him there long enough to get him to actually mate you? You have to really call him to get this far. You can’t be anyone normal. No lacky of his beliefs or regular person. He doesn’t care about that. You’re borderline his soulmate if you are.

If you do manage to actually get him to take an interest in you and not what you can do for him, not a political move or a piece to be played and discarded, you’re seriously in for it. Fyodor is not an easy Alpha to have.

He just barely ranks above Dazai because he can have his moments, but they’re usually pretty inauthentic and more of something he knows he’s expected to do as your Alpha; most of these moments are in public, but you might find him doing them when he’s running on autopilot too.

I’m not going to comment on how you got him to mate you because I honestly am at a loss for how that would even happen. He’s not one to do that, and feeling that urge, let alone acting on it, is something that he would never thought he’d do, even sadistically, to torture his worst enemies by taking their spoken for Omega, because it means he’s bound to someone. He’s now got someone he has to think about, not because he wants to, but because those fucking primal urges force him to. it’s a distraction to him and his goals.

if you match his intelligence, even with minute differences, he would rather see you as something to toy with. if you don’t, you’re something to be used. It’s an extremely difficult situation where you almost have to be playing him and catch him in a mood where the fact of that doesn’t piss him off too much that he immediately tries to kill you. Maybe more of an innocent game? Where you basically are only toying with him because you like him and want to be with him? Very Harley Quinn like.

Fyodor likes super submissive Omegas. And by “like,” I mean that it would almost be impossible for you to be a more pushy or dominant Omega because Fyodor has the whole power dynamic he likes (which is super unhealthy, dude, go 2 therapy) and refuses any other type of partner. A bratty Omega is ok, but you might want to be heavily masochistic if you go that route.

Fyodor loves spanking. I’m sorry but he does. He likes the feeling of punishing you so intimately. And you taking it like a good little Omega, tears in your eyes as you try to apologize or count his spanks. He’s partial to a belt or his hand. Loves making your ass bruised and nearly bloody. I would seriously love to say that Fyodor would be super snuggly and loving because you’re his special Omega or whatever, but I just don’t think that’s really… in character for him. He will have moments where he enjoys your company though. Even without sex. Sometimes, when he’s in a good mood, he’ll sit you next to him, explain some hacking and coding, maybe twirl a strand of your hair between his fingers. But that’s about it.

Kisses are saved for public image and that’s it. He seriously probably never hugs you :/. The only reason he ranks above Dazai is because despite his intensity in sex and his ice queen personality, it’s really less to deal with then Dazai’s constant inner turmoil. Like Fyodor doesn’t have conflict in his mind. He’s super set in his path and whatever decisions he makes on that journey. You at least don’t expect warmth from this man. Unlike Dazai who acts pretty well. Plus you’re loaded and can do whatever you want 🤷‍♀️ idk kinda works for me

Fyodor will come to care about you more though. Kinda like those typical arranged marriages in movies? He becomes fond of you, I suppose the proper word would be. Like he doesn’t want to lose you, but if he does, oh well. He’ll miss your warm heat wrapped around him and delicious cooking. I’m sorry. Fyodor doesn’t know the meaning of love. He does end up referring to you as His Omega and gives you more important duties around his cult. Will smile at you (AND IT WILL BE A REAL SMILE) and tell you you did a good job. He’ll start to wrap an arm around you and hand you his jacket if he notices you shivering. Maybe even kiss the side of your head a little bit.

Ok. Maybe he’s a bit soft and a bit in love with you, but he will never admit that to even himself.

I really can’t see Fyodor having ruts due to his medical issues. He probably even has problems getting it up sometimes, which is fine, he still enjoys watching you suffer. Or pleasure yourself for him. Whichever. But if he did, they would probably only last a couple of days and actually make him really sick. He probably wouldn’t even be able to knot you. Mondo Owada, the Ultimate Child Caretaker Assassin, the Main Character. He acts all aloof and mean but it’s hard to do when Chihiro and Makoto follow him around like ducklings.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru, the Ultimate Supreme Leader and Rival. His grandfather didn’t lose his position, and he and his father are next in line for his position. He keeps his rule-keeper personality.

Chihiro Fujisaki, the Ultimate Tennis Player. They wanted to be able to defend themself and picked up a sport, which was coincidentally the one with the cutest uniform.

Makoto Naegi, the Ultimate Butler. He’s pretty anxious about his talent, and he’s not sure he’s fit for the position, even though he tries to be the best he can. This is slightly exemplified by his clumsiness, which makes his job a lot harder.

Junko Enoshima, the Ultimate Swimmer. She’s always wearing the cutest swimsuits so she looks cute once she wins and gets victory photos.

Mukuro Ikusaba, the Ultimate Magician. She does a lot of slight of hand tricks, but she’s also pretty good with weapons and animals.

Sakura Ogami, the Ultimate Fanfic Writer. She’s super strong, but she’s really into writing long, well written fanfictions in her free time- when she’s not writing soft, fluffy oneshots.

Aoi Asahina, the Ultimate Yakusa and Traitor. She’s kind hearted but firm, and when push comes to shove she will stand her ground. Like Sukura in canon, she’s only the traitor through blackmail.

Yasuhiro Hagakure, the Ultimate ???/Detective. He acts dumb, but he’s actually curious and intelligent. He’s good at what he does, but before he remembers his talent he sorta does it all on autopilot.

Byakuya Togami, the Ultimate Animal Breeder. He breeds high class cats with proper breeding (read: Persians), but also has a really hard time staying unattached to the cats so they can be adopted.

Toko Fukawa, the Ultimate Entomologist and Helper Character. She’s pretty anxious around other people and prefers bugs. She has a terrarium as a backpack which contains only her beloved stinkbug, Kameko, but bugs really like her.

Kyoko Kirigiri, the Ultimate Writing Prodigy and Mastermind. She’s pretty quiet when it comes to talking to people, but she’s intelligent and has bizarre (and even concerning) information from looking it up for… writing.

Sayaka Maizono, the Ultimate Moral Compass. She’s pretty sweet, but she fights to get what she wants and doesn’t care who she hurts to keep the people she loves safe.

Hifumi Yamada, the Ultimate Photographer. He takes photos of street fashion (and cosplayers). He’s pretty nice, and is constantly talking to people about how interesting their fashion choices are and, if he receives permission, taking photos.

Celestia Ludenberg, the Ultimate Lucky Student and Helper Character. She has Komeada’s luck cycle. She doesn’t pretend she’s high class when she’s not, she’s actually admits to being pretty ordinary, but her luck has left her in possession of a large sum of money and she therefore dresses as she pleases.

Leon Kuwata, the Ultimate Makeup Artist. He was supposed to be the Ultimate Imposter, but I couldn’t find a way to make it work so he’s a Makeup Artist instead! He does punk makeup looks almost exclusively, but he’s pretty good at prosthetics and stage makeup.

People often wonder how I'm so happy and optimistic

Honestly I think it comes from experience and life and observing society.

I think as we grow up in an ever-growing tumultus world of confusion, anger, violence and hatred it becomes hard to see the good things. The media and news is flooded with bad news of wars and rumours of wars, murders, crimes, everything bad. There's hardly anything good in the news nowadays, unless it's a massive thing.

I think this constant barrage of negative information unconsciously teaches us to notice all those bad things in life, makes us feel that the world is falling to a point of no return and especially teaches us that happiness and goodness and joy can only be found in big things and events.

We seem to think (from my observation,) that happiness only comes when life is perfect, or when other big milestones happen, such as getting married, getting rich, etc.

In reality, that's not true.

We do not get joy from sitting around and waiting for these things to happen. We do not get joy when the world is fixed. We do not only experience the euphoric happiness of life when big major events happen.

The beautiful thing about happiness is that it's so simple. We are led to believe that happiness is a complexity that we can continue reaching for but will never grasp, but I don't think that's the case.

(Of course, those of you who are struggling with genuine concerns and mental illnesses, etc who are literally limited are the exception because happiness is really hard to find when there's a chemical imbalance in your brain, but this is more targeted at us who don't struggle with those things. Maybe this might help you, maybe not, but just keep going, you're facing a really hard battle, I love you.)

Let us look at a little child. The epitome of pure, wholesome joy. I don't know if you've seen little kids (we're talking 8 and below) but they have such a powerful goodness about them. Of course they're going to mess up, they'll make mistakes, they'll do s oome bad things. We're human, not perfect. But children have an inherent, unbiased view of the world and when they look at it, all they see is a new place for them to discover with excited curiosity and amazed wonder. The get excited over a butterfly. Or a bug. Or a flower. Or food. Or literally the thought of doing something. When was the last time we saw a butterfly and got excited? Or we skipped down a street with a flower in hand? When was the last time we saw a really cool car and watched it with wide eyes and an open mouth?

We have lost the wonder in noticing those little things. Those flowers and bugs and cars and trains have now become just part of every day mundanity, a part of the backdrop of our tumultuous lives. We've been led to think that being childish (in a good way, as in being excited and happy over little things, etc. Not being stubborn and unwilling to share) is a bad thing. It's not.

Mostly us (those who have experience significant trauma are the exception,) remember our childhoods, our early childhoods, as a time of golden innocence, where the world was wonderful. What's stopping us from looking at things like that again? Why shouldn't we smile at the massive fluffy could above us and imagine that we can pull them from the sky? What's wrong with getting excited about a dandelion and watching the seeds blow away in the wind? Why shouldn't we enjoy the warmth of our bed on a winter's morning, or play in the fallen leaves in autumn? Why shouldn't we be allowed to rediscover the beauty of nature?

Some of you may be thinking that life is too hard to do that. That there are too many things going wrong or bad to experience happiness.

Let me use my life as an example. Do not compare your struggles with mine, or think that you're weak because everyone is struggling with different things and THEY ARE ALL VALID STRUGGLES.

I'm going blind. I struggle to maintain friendships and I feel like a complete outsider in every friendship group. I wonder if I'll ever find someone who lives me the way I love people and I spend a lot of time in solitude. I worry that I'm not good enough for my dream universities and that I might not be able to do what I want in life.

Yet I'm still happy. I still laugh with joy whenever I walk past a very specific part of my street because it has the most magnificent view. I can still say I had a good day even with all my struggles.

Why?

How?

(Part of it is because of my religion which has definitely helped me in a lot of it, but becay se we all have different beliefs and values I'm focussing on a more general thing.)

Because life is hard. Life is the most challenging thing. There will be times when we want to just give up. But life isn't only about the hard things. Just because things are hard, doesn't mean they can't be good. An author can spend many challenging months formulating and drafting a book, wondering many times if they should just give up, but the reward of their own book being published and the learning and growth they experienced in the journey of writing the book makes everything worth it.

We cannot give up because things get hard. We must keep going.

Sometimes things don't get better. I'm not going to magically be able to see again. But I can still be grateful for what I have and see the blessings that are in my life. And they don't have to be dramatic, grand things.

I'm grateful for the clouds, because they're pretty. I'm thankful for the sun, especially in late autumn and winter afternoons. I'm thankful for cups of tea with buttered scones on mum's fancy china. I'm thankful for books, for technology, for my friends who still talk to me and listen to me even when I do seem a bit much. I'm thankful for what I can see now and that I had the chance to experience sight. I'm thankful for the time I have to be alone because I can do the things i live, like read or write or just think. Im grateful that i have the opportunity to even consider the possibility of going to a prestigious university and that I have a chance. I'm thankful for my talents and skills and I'm thankful for learning so I can develop more. I'm thankful for my creativity, for leaves. I'm thankful for the butterflies, the dandelions, the trains and the really awesome cars.

There is so much good in the world. It doesn't have to be majestic or grandiose to be good. It can literally be a shower. Or chocolate. Or a really funny cat video. It can be anything that makes YOU happy.

Happiness comes when we seek out those little things. When we make the effort to notice them. To put on music that makes us feel better and to do the little things we love. To go outside and look around us, not on the pavement. When we take the time to really think about what we have and the potential we have.

These are just my observations on why I'm so happy and optimistic. Because I don't wait for happiness to come in a grand fixing of my problems, but because I go out, I become like a little child and I learn to enjoy the small little things that give me bursts of joy.

Why is it so hard to write 8th with words?

"Why is she friends with a fish?"

For the eighth time since Lance has started the movie, Keith makes him pause it to ask dumb questions.

"Ugh, Keith, stop questioning it, it's Disney logic! There are no rules."

Keith raises a brow but quiets down.

When Lance had found out that Pidge has multiple movies downloaded onto the laptop she somehow managed to bring into space, he immediately scoured it for any animated movies.

As Keith's boyfriend, (he can't help but shimmy with joy whenever he realizes that) it's Lance's duty to educate him on the amazingness of DreamWorks, Pixar, Disney, and whatever other studios there are out there.

Lance totally catches Keith eying Flynn Rider when they watch Tangled.

For some reason, Keith easily accepts the idea of magic hair and whatnot, but he can't seem to grasp the idea of talking animals.

The look of scandalized befuddlement (love that word) that crosses the red paladin's face whenever any animal utters so much of a word sends Lance into hysterics.

And when they start singing, he literally lunges over to hide behind Lance with a look of pure terror on his face. Lance can't help but sing along and Keith gaze switches back and forth from him to the computer.

"Aw come on, I thought you would love this! Look, there's snails!"

Keith doesn't even notice Lance patronizing him as his whispers out in a hollow voice, "I ate snails when I was younger. I think they're gonna murder me for my sins against snailkind. They're freaky! They're not bugs, but they're not anything else either."

Keith is staring up at Lance with wide eyes, still cowering against the back of the couch and using Lance as a barrier between himself and the computer.

"You can watch horror, but you're terrified of a show made for children?"

They end up watching Tangled for the 27th time instead and bundle up in a huge fluffy blanket. Keith stays close to Lance's side as if he's scared that killer snails will start sliming out of the vents. When Lance says that out loud, Keith clings impossibly closer and watches the walls around them warily.

Now whenever Lance is absolutely determined to win an argument, he start singing Under the Sea at the top of his lungs.

There’s not even a doubt that Bell was a feral raccoon on crack before the MK-ULTRA project took full swing. Scratches, bitemarks and even strained wrists because of holding Bell down were common occurrences throughout the first sessions. Bell wouldn’t hesitate to bite down hard enough to rip the flesh from the bone - Adler had to frequently check himself for symptoms of infection after spending time with Bell.

Ghost’s favourite cat breed is the Sphinx, followed closely by its related breeds like Devon Rex. He finds them amusing and intriguing - Soap teases and jokes about it actually being that they remind him of naked chickens.

Truth be told - Ghost loves hearing stories about how these cats are walking furnaces, he would do anything to cuddle with one whenever he feels his hands going frigidly cold.

Ghost would silently weep behind his mask if someone dropped a fluffy and/or small creature in his lap and the little one would snuggle itself to him without hesitation.

Roach watches channels like Animal Planet or National Geographic religiously - loves to tease Ghost every time a black cat pops up on the “My Cat from Hell” tv shows. He ends up immediately pointing to the screen, signing “LT, it’s you :)”

Price is the ultimate boss of naptimes at 141 HQ. One rule that everyone follows: Never wake a sleeping Price if you wish to continue living. Soap disregards this and ends up on several hours of drill exercises, either doing them or watching the recruits. That’s the mildest form of punishment in the Sergeant’s opinion.

Gromsko had wondered for quite some time when he began working with the 141 task force: what was Roach actually called after. Was it the fish, the bug or the fictional horse from the polish fantasy book series he read when he was younger? He felt awkward about asking anyone for help to explain it to him.

Bell hates anything that relates to smoking. After the Duga ending and the reunion with Perseus, Bell would avoid anyone that even slightly smelled of smoke. Perseus catching on to the trauma response quickly changed his demeanour and stopped smoking around Bell. He recommended doing the same to everyone closely working with him and Bell - the consequences of disobeying his command wouldn’t be worth it. Especially having in mind that fingers are quite important and shouldn’t be put through a hard time of being twisted beyond recognition.

On the other hand, we got Adler: He would take a grand piss at Bell’s discomfort. “Don’t you want a small drag, Bell?” or “What’s with that face, Bell? It’s just a stupid smoke, nothing to be prissy about.”

König during his downtime at the KorTac HQ happened to befriend a small murder of crows. Sharing a tad bit of nuts and other snacks between them on a daily basis, turned out at some point to collecting payments from those corvids. From small shells and rocks to ending up with a small amount change of the local currency, at first, he felt bad about the apparent fact he taught his feathered friends to steal.

Other than that though, he’s quite content with taking the small trinkets to use as part of his artistic projects. From using pebbles, twigs and shells as part of his dioramas or making his own paint based on flowers or other pigmented objects.

Soap made tea once for Ghost before he knew about how he actually preferred it. When he gave it to him and Ghost took a sip, the first thing leaving his mouth was; “Johnny, this isn't a bloody cuppa tea but a sugar-induced coma with a side dish of high blood pressure.”

Okay my wrist is killing me so these will be short, but quick Lurien headcanons go!

-He fiddles with things when he's nervous. When calm, he's still, but when the nerves hit then they'll always be moving

-Keeps his fur neatly trimmed at all times, but has ink always flecked on his hands/wrist, and his ruff is always a fluffy disaster bc he pretty much never goes unmasked in public

-Has killed or been directly a part of multiple people's deaths in the past despite his sort of reclusive, mysterious appearence

-Justice isn't his buisness as Watcher, but he takes it very seriously when it lands in his lap

-His gift of foresight is pitifully weak compared to PK's, and is very difficult to control. He gets brief intense visions of what is sure to come, but it could be anything from a murder to a trash bin falling over, and he oftentimes has a hard time distinguishing between what is foresight and what is an anxiety-based dream

-Suffers from frequent chronic migraines from said foresight

-Cuts a very mysterious, imposing, terrifying figure to the populace, yet is in complete denial that it is the case (hes fully aware hes a nerd)

-Drinks a LOT of wine. This might be more alarming if he wasn't a butterfly, aka a bug literally made for drinking plant fluids. When he really needs help then he busts out the vodka

-Deeply respects and adores PK, but is comfortable enough with him now to be dryly sarcastic or argue with him

-Once had a very strong desire to have children, which is still kind of there at the back of his mind but is mostly overwhelmed by his overwhelming fear of very determined toddlers and the concept of being a bad parent

-Primarily a landscape painter, with a very ethereal, textured sort of style meant to convey the feelings and impressions of the land vs photorealistic clarity

-Has a pretty damn good alcohol tolerance for his size, and is more of a bold/angry drunk. He'll be quiet and demure and polite when sober then start swearing and ranting about his problems when drunk, bc his anxiety goes out the window

-His voice is naturally deep and whispery, but will pitch up to a sharp bark when mad and a raspy sort of shriek when afraid. Butterflies are sterotyped as having silvery voices, but Lurien's ability to sound elegant and pretty is uh...not there. This has NOTHING to do with him being trans btw, he's just a quiet guy by nature and any voice cracks are due to genuine strain

-He has a petty side! Its deeply buried and hard to rouse, but when its brought to light then its a slow-burning anger that'll never go out. Ex: his feud with the Soul Master

-Has developed a near-immunity to Hornet's venom after he was designated her favorite chew toy as a baby. It eventually got so bad that Herrah started bringing antivenom everytime she thought she'd meet with him

-Dissociation is a huge problem with him; he feels more like a ghost or duty made incarnate than a bug

-He doesn't feel the effects of time bc he's one of PK's favored mortals, so illness and natural body conditions are luckily not much of a problem, but his response to sickness/breeding season (which might as well be a form of illness with the preheat exhaustion, headaches, and cramps) is to basically burrow himself in his bedsheets and then miserably try to wait it out. Trying to pry him out of his misery cocoon is a hell of an ordeal, and can only be done if the carer has honey tea or some other form of sugary food

-Sometimes gets a craving for blood. Hates it.

-Likes to be the big spoon in any sleeping arrangement :) he's soft and warm and touchstarved too its perfect

-'Queer Victorian scholar' would be an apt description for him really

-His fuzz isn't especially messy, but sometimes he'll leave a sort of feathery dust about his dwelling areas, and it drives him insane. That he knows its just his own residue doesn't make it any better

Where do I even begin. Einar, Eshe, Kenyatta, my boys....

Let's go with Zeki, because the thing he gave me cracks me up.

How else am I supposed to react to getting a laser pointer???

So, apparently Auni decided he wanted to use the douplifier for butterflies and other bugs, and uh. It actually worked. I am amazed, I tell you, that Auntie Del didn't shout the house down when that happened.

I am also sad I missed it.

But Zeki told me that he's not skilled at bug catching (which I doubt, he's just fluffy and a bit lazy XD), but if I could help him cut down the bug population, he'd appreciate it.

So I did, and he gave me that for it. I told him it wasn't necessary, as weird as he is, he's my friend, and he insisted, so now I have a laser pointer. Honestly, the palcats love it, I just have to make sure to not point it at anything breakable.

Learned that one the hard way.

So there was that. Then I finally got all the things together for Kenyatta's ball (hey, you try stalling with Eshe breathing down your neck the way she does! Scary lady!), and man, I wish I could've seen her face when Kenyatta declared her Path as a healer apprenticed to Chayne. Granted, I'm also amazed Eshe hasn't decided it's all my fault, but like... Small favors.

Which are good favors because oof, if she actually finds out I read her private mail, I'm not sure I won't actually get banned from town. Which would suck.

So, apparently the Duchess is questioning Eshe's governance skills, which like... first of all, why, and secondly, the letter called Eshe delicate. Like. I know the Duchess is Kenli's sister, but has she actually met Eshe recently? Eshe is so not delicate. Eshe will murder anyone with a glare who calls her delicate. (And we're not gonna tell anyone I lied to Kenli about putting a present in her room. Nope. Maybe I should get her something though...)

At least after that whole incident I was able to buy the Maji plush! My boys were both being weird about it, and I had to be very frim about not letting either Jel or Hassian buy it for me. Though it is sweet that Hassian offered; he's so offended by the chappa stuff at the market, but he said he'd tolerate it if I wanted the plush so badly.

Jel just tried to slip me money, and I had to scold both of them.

Sometimes a girl just wants to spend her hard earned money on some silly frivolities! Honestly, the plushie is overpriced, but I'm proud of myself for saving up as much as I did and getting it. Proof that I can, you know?

Now I just need to do it again because I want the basket Reth's selling (It'll be perfect for laundry), and those springblossom vases Auntie has. I like the standing planters I have now, but I really want these to sit in the entryway before my room.

It's silly, I know, but I like them!

And then again, because I need that giant backpack Zeki has. But that one can wait because Zeki's got a ton in stock, and the Maji Market is only a little bit longer.

Oh oh oh, I almost forgot Auni's nonsense. This kid is gonna be the death of me, I swear! Nai'o wrote that Auni's been acting funny since their last camping trip, but he wouldn't tell Nai'o, so Nai'o asked me to ask Auni what was up.

...that was convoluted.

So, apparently Auni picked up a statue, and started having dreams about being lost, and no one else being there. Apparently he took it to Elouisa, and she said the statue was cursed, with the only way to break the curse being putting the dang thing back.

Auni, child of no brains at all, had no real idea where he picked up the statue from, other than a vague location in Bahari. In the interest of him actually sleeping, I offered to take it back there. Not like I don't always find stuff to do in Bahari anyways (I need more sweet leaf... celebration cakes use up entirely too much.), so off I went to Bahari.

Turns out, the place he was thinking of was the Statue Garden, and I have to admit, once the thing was back in it's spot, I felt better myself. This kid wants to join the Order, but honestly, I think he'd be better working as a researcher like Jina. Maybe he doesn't get to do magic, but he'd learn a lot more about things and how they work, I bet.

Oh, and then there was Einar, who tried to help me understand Flow. I still don't think I really get it, but if nothing else, I helped catch something so that he could fix a busted music box in his cavernous home, so that was nice.

I also found this out in Bahari. I'm not really sure what to make of it. It had an inscription about little things making big impacts, and it's made me sit and thing for a bit, because that's true. Not that I think humans are a little thing, but we're definitely making big impacts all around Kilima and Bahari, and probably the rest of Palia too. Jel mentioned that there's a collection of outfits done by a human designer, and that's pretty impressive.

I'm perfectly content to stay here and just have a good time with my farming and a good life with my friends in the village. I guess I'm not much of a wanderer.

Hm.

I wonder if that would bother Hassian... He mentioned earlier that he sort of misses being untethered. I wonder if that meant... me as well.

Tch. I'm being dramatic. I think I'm going to go enjoy this darn celebration cake that took way too long, and way too much stuff to make, and not worry about it.

I need to invite Lark and Orion over for another dinner-and-vent session, I think. Could be fun!
