LMAOOOO anon im gonna let you in on a secret... ive tried remaking ea wolfgang a dozen times, and it never worked out for me, so i just made an entirely new sim and gave him the same traits as ea wolfgang :'). the rest of the munches weren't so bad to remake tbh, i could remake all of them from their original ea counterparts! it's just ea wolfgang, he has such strange facial proportions i honestly didn't know what to do with him. hes my little worm guy!!!

IMPORTANT: please suggest quotes for those I don't have an idea for! It'd be very helpful, especially because I don't have all the VODs! I need quotes for: Rae, Caspian, Momboo, Jamie, Easton, Centross, Ven, Athena, Wolf, Arisanna, Haley, and Icarus. Open for suggestions on Ocie, Ulysses, and Aax!

I think when Fable ends I'm going to work on a series of pieces- love letters to the entire story and how much it's impacted me. I've got a few planned but I need Fable to end before I start it, because whatever happens from now to the finale- including the finale itself, is going to be so important in relation to these! A few of the already like- dead dead characters I can work with though

I want to include text within them, so;

Rae - Rae's is going to be one of the most fun. There is so much I can do- so many directions. The finale will probably solidify which I do! A few things are for certain though; 1) aspects of the skulk. Most likely will be vines crawling up the background! 2) Aspects of the three shards- Alerion, Enderian, and Perix. Probably will be conveyed through color! Enderian will have a more specific nod as she's more present within Rae himself! Some sort of crown would sort of be my idea. 3) Stars. Of some sort, I want there to be stars. 4) A crown. Will probably be end-esque but we shall see!

Aax -There are a few things I know I want for Aax as well! 1) Four. Such an iconic thing for Aax- it's gotta be there. 2) Glowberries (because why not) 3) A trident and an axe. Aax's words will probably be something like "by design", or something about protecting Rae and Caspian!

Caspian - The problem with Caspian is I don't know an absolute ton about him! I do know a decent bit though, I'd say. A few things I want to include: 1) a quill. what's a writer without his tools? 2) A nod to momboo in some way. I'll figure that out. 3) Redstone/gadgetry of some kind. 4) something Atlas related, if not Atlas herself.

Momboo - I want a lot of nature themed elements, of course, but also a splash of color. The glitching. May do a half and half but probably not- it'll probably be worked in there somehow tho! I want nods to Jamie and Easton as well. Not sure on the quote yet!

Jamie - I hold Jamie in my little hands. I want nods to Athena, Momboo, and Easton in there, as well as Eeji, whatever the sheep is named, the camel and Solaris! I might have them as tiny creatures within the art piece itself! There will be an increase of nature themed elements as well, a nod to how they inherited that from Momboo! (no quote so far)

Easton: I don't know too much about Easton as well, sadly! I want to include lightning, skulk, nods to their mother and sibling, and the border will probably be a heart monitor type line (well within the border), a nod to how they see the world! (no quote so far)

Athena: I of course want Nether elements, but also a nod to Jamie, nature/flowers, and Cheshire! Cheshire might be included, possibly at the bottom or draped across Athena's neck. Whatever I can get to work! I kind of want to draw her in his fancy nether outfit, because I feel like it fits? (no quote so far)

Ven: The little traitor man! (/aff) I want nods to Fengari and some sort of writing detail! I don't know a ton about Ven, but I may include some nods to Fable (twisting yellow claws, etc!) (no quote so far!)

Ocie: I have the most idea for Ocie- she's the one that started my brain a'going. One of the strongest themes in Ocie's character is grief. It's lost so many people- and now another one, Len. Features I want to include are: 1) a nod to Momboo, 2) Oscar, 3) I kind of want her eyes to glow, 4) a heart of the sea, 5) tears. The words on her piece will probably be "Another empty grave." (or "I don't want to dig another grave.", or "It takes every piece away"!)

Centross: Wouldn't be a Centross piece without a nod to the end! A note that this piece will be of Violet! I want to display each character sort of in their "final form", whatever that may be. I want stars, the reaver, and a nod to the farming. His quote will probably be something cryptic about keeping the balance!

Wolf/Fenris: Fenris's is another that is going to be really fun! I may add a phantom mask over his face, as well as the moon above or behind his head. I want him in a fancy outfit- probably the one Malitae gave him, or the Festival of light one. There will be stars for Rae, and maybe wheat for Centross? Not sure of a quote yet!

Arisanna: Gotta have allays. But also pillager references! The border will probs have arrows within it! She'll also have some sort of book reference, whether that be the background or her holding one!

Icarus: Wings and potions and wack. Icarus's will be colorful, feathery, and otherwise I'm not entirely sure! I want a crown, so icarus's matches the rest of prince trio's. I also want to highlight their eyes! Otherwise, I think help from y'all and also the finale will help. Quote might be "Oh, we're doing this again?" but I am very very very open to suggestions

Haley: Haley's is going to be eerie- probably a reference to how she died, but also I want something puppet-y about her! not sure what else, and for the quote all i got is "this wasn't how it was supposed to go"

Ulysses: formerly evil fish man WOOO! Gotta have references to medical stuff, possibly have Victor in there, telchin stuff, and alcohol. Ulysses is trying to make amends, to fix the wrongs, to improve. I don't know how I can convey the layers of that well, like I can with Ocie's grief. Honestly, the quote might be the best way to do that! ("I'm sorry", or "I didn't mean for this to happen", maybe?)

I won't be doing one for Galahad, Will, or Chaos! Galahad and Will because I don't know their characters that well, and I feel like it'd be out of place now. Chaos for infer-able reasons.

Addie may be added if I have time, motivation, and if we see addie again before the end!

do the mers in your world have any special conditions when it comes to using magic? in general and also specifically transforming/getting legs (i always find it interesting to see others' takes on mer magic)

Yes!!! I love talking about my magic system!!!! Thank you so much for asking :3c I was originally not planning on merpeople being a part of my lore at first, but I caved because hehe fun fish people and my love for Lir <3(need to draw him again)

Merpeople are an inherently magical group but like everyone else, it shows differently from individual to individual and some have an easier time calling forth their magic while others struggle. Many cast through sound as vibrational magic works great underwater, increased range. Don't get on a mer's bad side or you're getting wailed at. For some deeper lore stuff, merpeople are decedents of humans mixed with magic. This is how multiple other magical species work in my stories, they originate from humans but have strayed far enough to become their own species but can still interbreed with humans if desired(Caspian is half human which is why he's so much smaller then the other merpeople).

As for transforming from tailed to legs, this is not a magic locked to merpeople. This is them benefiting from form changing enchantments which can be used by anyone to varying degrees. Transformation enchantments are some of the most difficult enchantments to make, and even harder to make well without side-effects. Akore uses his magical prowess and years of studying to make effective enchantments, he has become well know for making transformation enchantments of high quality. Caspian and Akore use these enchantments to walk on land, they don't need a second one to breath air because they're amphibious. They do use gill covers tho, both to hid them from others but to keep their gills from drying out.

Korinn Mayastan - Steampunk WIP

About the character: Korinn is a green dragonborn who immigrated from her country for opportunity, eager to share her inventions. After hard work and making her way up the ladder, she is now the biggest leader in industry during the country's industrial revolution, as well as the heartthrob of the big city. Of course, the means to the ends of success aren't always... ethical.

List of My EOIII OCs Reacting to Being Mugged (from least to most violent)

9.) Smiley

Would bawl her eyes out as she threw her wallet and ran away. If she’s being brave she might give a “Come on………. You don’t want rob a cutie like me.” But she’s a scaredy cat.

8.) Aurora

”Look over there!” Andddddd she’s gone.

7.) Ignis

IF SOMEONE WERE SO DESPERATE FOR MONEY THEY TRIED TO ROB A 6’3’’ ARMORED MAN…. He actually wouldn’t mind and he’d ask why. Then after the mugger either told him their story he’d give him what he had on him. If the mugger thought he was weird for asking, he’d keep prying (genuinely, something is wrong with him. But he’s curious) If the mugger tried attacking him, he’d only move defensively. In the end he would give them some money if they needed it.

6.) Alope

If someone tried to rob Alope she’d squint before she recognized them (BC SHE KNOWS EVERYONE) and go “Oh… I know you! You’re [insert person]’s kid!” They’d have two options from there. A.) fall into Alope’s small talk trap or B.) continue trying to mug her which would prompt her to threaten to tell their loved ones about it/ start teasing them.

But They’d know better. Also everyone knows Alope’s dirt poor. They’d pick better targets.

5.) Magnolia

You know how Alope would threaten to tell the muggers mom? Magnolia would start scolding them as if it were her job to discipline them.

“I understand being in need… But taking from others is reprehensible! You may gain some ental, but your moral backbone…! You would not want to jeopardize that, would you? How about I make you a meal and we can talk about some options for you?”

Only lower than Alope bc Alope wouldn’t scold them, only threaten to have them scolded before running off.

Slightly dangerous territory below

4.) Caspian

Instinctively body slams anyone who attempts to touch her. If the mugger were smart, it’d do them well to recognize her face after she throws them…. She’d pay them much more than she had on her person then if they were really hurt after and apologized.

3.) Tank

He’d warn them that they didn’t want to do this— play mind games, and say “Don’t remember which pocket I put my wallet in” so they have to pat him down. The mugger will be safe if they do not proceed or give up. Tank does all of this to stall them. To stall them until ENID arrives….

2.) Enid

Try to mug Enid and Enid will punch the lights out of you even tho they aren’t supposed to carry valuables.

Tank is an insidious monster for stalling muggers long enough for Enid to deal with them. Especially since Enid tends to get more violent if they see someone else getting mugged.

“That’s one more problem off the streets.” No, Enid. You shoved their face into the pavement. YOU HAVE A PROBLEM.

1.) Hana

Hana would fucking kill anyone who tried to mug her.

“Easy pickings” SHE CAN AND WILL ELECTROCUTE YOU. SHE WON’T FEEL BAD ABOUT IT. I HAVE SEVERAL DRAFTS WHERE HANA WILL DO SOMETHING WEIRDLY CRUEL AND NOT CARE.

I’m supposed to write a scene where a thug threatens Alope and I’m forever thinking about how Hana starts charging up a fire spell— and Alope starts to push Hana along bc SHE DOESN’T WANT BLOOD ON HANA’S HANDS.

If it's only Mel we're talking about....not very far.

He generally tends to take what he perceives as the path of least resistance in almost any situation and wouldn't really go beyond that unless he really really really had to.

Does your OC have a faceclaim? If so, who?

Not really. (tbh none of my characters have an actual face claim apart from Lyall partially)

I did sort of implement certain attributes of fictional characters or people I know/ have seen somewhere in both her style and facial features tho...just not enough to really call it a face claim.

Ramona Flowers from Scott Pilgrim vs the World for example is a character I very loosely based her on.

What is the worst thing you have put your OC through story-wise?

(small tw for transphobia just in case)

Most of the answers here would be too much of a spoiler so I'm just gonna go with one thing, which is the fact that his relationship with his mother suffered quite a lot under his transition.

It's not like she disowned him or broke contact or anything like that, but she still has a lot of trouble becoming adjusted to it, which naturally causes a lot of tensions between them at times.

Part of me would love to just say "fuck it" and have his mother be 100% accepting and supportive but sadly that is not always the reality.

What's an AU that would be interesting to explore with your OC?

One AU I would really love to explore more is the storyline of Mabon and @drawing-way-outside-the-lines' Caspian.

I like to think this AU is kinda...sorta what could come to be if Volatile was an interactive story (à la Life is Strange) and Mel/the Player made all the worst possible choices one could make.

I personally really like to dabble in this AU because:

a) I can just fuck around without much thought for plot and coherence

b) I love Caspian and his dynamic with Mabon.

and c) it allows me to explore a more unhinged side of Mabon.

Seriously I feel like guy has so much potential to be an amazing villain, but that part of him would never have a place in the canon for various reasons...nor would I really want it to be canon so...yeah....AU it is.

I know Narnia fandom is dead but bear with me. I've read some casmund soulmate aus, they're precious. Mostly about how edmund gets to stay in narnia cuz Caspian is his soulmate, either in PC or in VDT. The age difference always bothers me, even tho in the fics they change his age.

But hmo.

How about, since in VDT Edmund still isnt 18, (I'm so sure he isn't even 16 tbh). Mark that appears in your skin at 16/18 (pick any). Edmund leaves in VDT and gets to go back to Narnia ;_; to be with his beloved ;;_;; cuz not even Aslan could separate sOULMATES.

That, or soulmate au where what you write in your skin shows on your soulmates. (Altho i did read a dif soulmate au that was kinda similar to that huhh...) were Edmund gets no response (since timelines are weird) for the longest time and then the writting appears and dissapears so fast he thinks the universe is fucking with him aka much needed angst but hey (gay?) once they go back in PC it all makes sense no?

How would ezra having a girlfriend (age like 15) and inviting her over for dinner go

oh my God, it will be chaotic.

ezra would tell it to both you and eren during breakfast. he's been planning on it with his girlfriend for forever, especially because if ezra dates someone, it's more or less serious even tho he's so young (perks of having eren as a dad in this au bc he teaches his sons how to be gentlemen djehnd). eren would choke on his eggs and he'll ask ezra to repeat it. you, on the other hand, are somewhat surprised yet happy for your eldest. you're looking at him like, "huh," with a tiny smile.

"i'm bringing over my girlfriend for dinner later," ezra would say as if he's talking to a toddler, his eyes specifically on eren.

"ezra, when was this?"

eren would be so dramatic bc one of his babies is finally dating someone ??? [insert swooning from the head of this chaotic family] and it's at a younger age than when he had his first relationship dwhdw kids these days. cue eren just asking questions about ezra's girlfriend while you're patting him on the back bc he's more excited than anyone in the room. when you see ezra's eyes light up while talking about this mystery girl, you feel your heart melt. it's so pure and so sincere at the same time ??? if you can classify it, it's almost like puppy love at its finest bc ezra looks so infatuated that it has caspian gagging on his milk (mind you, he's basically a kid (11) and he's plotting something against ezra at this point), to which aran slaps his arm at.

then, the dinner comes.

the girl is absolutely pretty. eren feels so proud and just stares at you while you welcome ezra's girlfriend into the house. he's leaning on the wall, full on admiring you for being so kind and welcoming to this girl. once he finds ezra's gaze, he immediately nods in an impressed manner and flashes a thumbs-up at his son, something that ezra rolls his eyes at. aran and caspian peeks from the family room like gossiping little shits. caspian doesn't believe ezra could ever date someone in general, given that he's known for starting fights with the youngest of the family. aran, though, is amazed that ezra can act so soft ??? bc both of them are watching ezra whisper to his girlfriend's ear, with the girl shaking her head with a smile, and ezra would furrow his brows but there's underlying relief peeking through his face. (he's probably asking her if it's too much and she's saying it's alright. cue the choreographed awwww.)

ezra acting so lovey dovey with his girlfriend: 🦋🌼💞✨💕🥰💖😮‍💨🦋🌻🌷

cassie and ran while watching their brother: what the fuck ????? what sorcery is this ????

no, but really.

ezra with his girlfriend: 🥰🦋🥰🦋🌼

ezra with his brothers: 😈👹😈👹💢

during the dinner, you're engaging his girlfriend in a chat (read: interrogation). like what are her intentions with your son, what are her plans for the future, you know the usual parent questions that have every child cower in embarrassment. ezra is looking at you like, mom, are you crazy ?? shut upppp and eren is like, "no no, she's doing something right, ez, let your mother be." caspian, oh this little shit, is spewing all the random facts about ezra and even aran joins in.

"did you know he once practiced kissing using the back of his hand?" aran casually starts a conversation while cutting his hamburger steak.

"ooh! i saw that!" caspian cackles. he then makes kissy faces. "he was like this. i bet he was practicing for you! oh, we can't forget about him belly-flopping on uncle zeke's pool and his swimming trunks floated up the surface before him."

aran full-on laughs at the dinner table.

"oh, my God!" ezra exclaims with a warm face. "can you two shut the hell up?!"

"language," eren calmly points his fork at ezra. you simply narrow your eyes at him.

aran sobers up from laughing. "remember that one time he called 911 because our cousin, helene, got her period while visiting us?" he bursts out laughing again. "the 911 operator was laughing at him and he nearly cried."

"hey! i was eleven — i didn't know what to do. cut me some slack!" ezra glares at both of his brothers. "in my defense, you," he points at aran, "are freaking out, too! you were looking for tampons and pads in every drawer here!"

"at least i wasn't crying literal tears and shouting that she's bleeding out to death." aran looks at ezra's girlfriend, wordlessly saying, "you're dating this guy?"

ezra's girlfriend meekly catches your gaze. "is it always like this?"

you laugh a little. "understatement of the century."

it ends with eren adding on to the embarrassing stories (though he is proud of telling them rather than purely for embarrassing ezra), aran and caspian still giggling to each other, ezra out for blood, and you feeling so exhilarated that your family didn't scare the poor girl away.

I'm Becca (as you probably figured out) and my friend said I should make a fanfic Tumblr cuz I wrote some for them.

I'll probably be writing mostly xreader fics, whether platonic or romantic. I will write smut, but preferably nothing too vanilla. I am REALLY exposing myself here. NOTHING NON CON.

This is the only time I'll be fully serious: If I write about heavy subjects (depression, anxiety, SH, etc.), it is simply to let people know they aren't alone and to help them through it. I am not in any way romanticizing it. As someone who has been through all three examples and much more, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I've written things for myself about my comfort characters helping me through shit and it genuinely helped me so much, I would love to do that for someone else.

For some context there are more than 300 sign languages in our world and with the addition of the undersea I imagine mana could probably have double that amount. anyway here we go:

there’s the Capital Sign Language which is the one everyone’s “supposed” to know. however, in practice, it’s not as wide spread and people only really learn it if they think they’ll be spending significant time in the capital. so people on the outskirts of the capital would prob use that one

there’s a much more common “Traveller’s/International Sign Language” but again - only really fully learnt if people think they’ll go travelling and is probably a lot more common around countries(?)/cities/towns/etc that are near each other. (can’t remember if you’ve talked about it but I imagine there’s a large population cluster around the capital and then the further away you get the more it dwindles out.) caspian’s tribe for eg probably only knows their specific one

^there is probably some overlap in these -> for eg BSL and Auslan use the same alphabet and have other overlaps (<- although I’m not sure how Much exactly: I only know bits of Auslan) so basically: places close together where people would be more likely to talk to each other/move to those other places etc etc would probably have some overlap in their particular sign languages <- I would say Traveller’s/International Sign Language mostly came about from that and is just more of an attempt to make an “official” version

even within the overlap people have their own dialects though. for eg: auslan has two main dialects! -> northern and southern. and these signs can be fairly different sometimes

i imagine the oversea and the undersea wouldn’t really have similar sign languages though. considering they don’t interact with each other much?

if gillion knew sign language he’d know the Capital’s sign language and definitely wouldn’t know the same one chip does which is probably a pirate’s/oversea traveller’s/International sign language (I wouldn’t be surprised if pirates had their own sign language considering all the other culture they have and that seems like the kind of one he’d have been taught)

also! since the four corners of the sea are just? completely cut off from each other? apart from Allport at least -> I feel like they would also all have very distinct sign languages that don’t have much overlap. but each corner has overlap within itself. if that makes sense o(-(

anyway here we go! I’m still learning a lot about sign language culture (specifically auslan’s) but I thought I’d apply what I do know to mana since I feel like it wouldn’t make sense for there to be One Single Sign Language esp considering how many different sign languages we have in our own world

I HAVE talked about the undersea capital being in a cluster yea yea. Does the capitals sign langauge build off of other sign languages in the undersea or is it a completely new one and every other one was Based off of the capitals? I'm assuming its a bit more of the former so that its somewhat understood to certain extent by people who dont know it. OR is it more of the... I forgot what its called exactly but its a sign language type that is more for education and understanding spoken/written language rather than actual sign language? Is it more of that?

Oh and if theres specific language/travellers signs are there signs more designated to people of certain work that were brought in or no ?

Idk how to explain, but the names you like are very You-coded, like Pandora like the girl who unleashed evil in the world, Salem like the witch trials, Alistair and Evangeline also give me the edgy vibes that emanate from you/pos, they're pretty good names! I liked all of them tbh, they're pretty.

I really like how Rowan and Caspian sound together, both ending in "an" appeals to me, but I'm the kind of name nerd that likes cohesive sib-sets, that is one of the things that makes me very weirdly picky about names, they have to sound good together because I want a shit ton of kids. (<- Can barely look after myself)

My curse with girl names is that my Brazilian ass Loves Anglo-sounding ones that would get my kid bullied, (went to school with a Dylan and the poor boy was made fun of a lot because of the gringo name) like I'd love to name a kid Nora, but that literally means "daughter-in-law" in Portuguese.

I like the subtle book references in the names you picked, the names I like are like that also, from the past like 10 years I've dreamed of naming kids Bianca and Nicholas because of Bianca and Nico Di Angelo (not that subtle but they sound Good together), I also read a Percabeth fic where they had a Marina and the name stuck with me! and reading Pride and Prejudice kinda made me obsessed with the name Lydia because she was my favorite, part of me really likes Thomas and Alexander also, but that might be a bit too SBI coded so I don't think I'd use both even tho I liked the names before liking them.

i feel like i’m almost in a similar boat as you bc i come from a spanish speaking family and it’s like well i should probably name my kids something my relatives can pronounce and also i don’t want them to make fun of or judge my names if i give my kids super white names ?3?3!&3 but i feel like that boat has already sailed like my cousins and siblings all have very white sounding names anyway

i also like sibling set names !!! this is part of why i like evangeline and pandora so much bc eve and pandora were the first women in their respective mythologies !! if i had two daughters this is probably what i would go with if i can convince my partner LOL i once tried to explain this idea to my mom like oh having a theme interwoven for your kids names like all space related names (like sisters nova and selene) or nature related names (ivy and river for example) and she thought that was kind of crazy so i would probably make it really subtle 😭

i get a little weird about having too similar sounds tho like for the longest time evangeline and evander were my favorites for a girl and a boy (which in my ideal world i have two kids and it’s a girl and a boy) but the evan being the first four letters of both made me pause liek ..? is this too similar and cringe …? so evander fell lower on the list bc of that unforchie dorchie oh also i was going to mention this in the og post but another boy name i kind of like is jason dean i like jason as a stand-alone (jason todd you are so famous) but jason dean kind of gives it that slay factor bc jason is a little short for me on its own and also it is a. reference to heathers and if i used that name i would in fact call my baby jd i wont even lie.

percy jackson has some of my favorite naming conventions ever !! all the kids have meaning woven into their names that relates to their godly parent like selina beauregard like literally beautiful to look at are we kidding. love it. i think you could absolutely get away with nicholas and bianca especially bc bianca is like such a minor character like i think only people who are nerds about pjo would get it and they would find it cool :) so funny you mention pride and prejudice tho bc i rewatched the movie just a few days ago and i was literally just thinking about the bennett sisters and THEIR names and how well they went together like elizabeth katherine lydia even jane and mary seem to fit in so well and kitty as a nickname is so cute too bad she’s so annoying 😭

🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?

inari- she's very, very attached to her home country of skalmere, even though it's illegal for her to exist there and she'd likely be killed if she ever went back. she has a little skalian flag sewn on the inside of her jacket, over her heart. idk, something about it is really compelling, i guess i connect it to being a minority in a conservative area but not wanting to leave.

daci- okay, i love her bc she's a sweetheart, but i think what i like most is that her magic (empathy, literally) is very sensory-based, so if she chooses to use it around a lot of people she gets sensory overload, and sometimes there's so much she can't fully turn her magic off, and idk, i like angst, i like magic drawbacks, i like people who refuse to let their friends know their magic has drawbacks.

cas- he projects this image of himself as really dark and edgy and scary but he actually has the lowest self-esteem known to man (well, second to inari) and if ollie so much as looks at him sternly he will fold and walk back his most recent bad decision. he's so funny to me for that.

ollie- they're literally just this happy-go-lucky artist kid from the backcountry that you would never expect to be the right hand of mr edgy up there ^^ its a really fun character type to play with

eira- she's this small, babyfaced, anxious girl that literally everyone estimates, kind of rightfully bc she's very out of her depth, but from the first page she's got this undercurrent of strength and ambition and i really love balancing those two things (or unbalancing them and causing her problems)

tyrian- he's the most Some Guy ever, the ken to eira's barbie if you will, and he's the only one without magic or a significant amount of trauma, so he's even more out of his depth than eira is but doing his best. and i love him.

in age order: cas (19), ollie (18), daci (18), tyrian (17), inari (17), eira (16)

i started this story when i was 15 and younger than them all, and in 8 months i'll be older than all of them. which is insane.

✨- How did you come up with the OC’s name?

there's a forum on the nanowrimo website, where i was spending most of my time back in 2019 (you know this, lexi), and there's a category in there to adopt character names. someone made a list of fantasy names and their meanings, which i went back and found just now:

inari, daciana, eira, and cassian (cas's full name) are all up there. i actually almost named him caspian, bc it means sea, but i had an inkling that "hollow" would be more fitting. also, there's narnia.

fun fact: isleen and isleen wer taken for tyrian's older sister & younger brother, dyah (which i'm now tweaking to either dyha or dyja, but it was dyah for four years) was taken for inari's little sister, and valens was taken for eira's father.

i don't remember where tyrian came from at all, except that two posts above that post someone suggested "tyr?" hm. also, i pulled several names from other posts for the eight gods of daci's religion, as well as alarik for her dog and kiver for a kid who will be important near the end. no one needed to know all of that, i'm just realizing now that this thread was absolutely instrumental to olt's beginnings, lol.

oh, also ollie/oleander isn't from there! they came when i sent a picrew to some friends on a discord server and asked for naming help. i'm no longer in that server, nor do i remember who suggested the name, but i am forever in their debt bc it is incredible.

oh, and last names i just COMPLETELY made up based on vibes, except for gatien. i remember googling for that one, i don't remember what, and i selected it bc it means "watchman," tho i'm not sure what i was going for there anymore. also inari and daci's last names have been nixed bc i grew to hate them, so....i still need to replace those.
