Ok so like I know we all cant wait for when Luke's betrayal comes up. And people are headcannoning Chris to be there too... But what if. Chris' betrayal is more emphasized on season 2.

In the books, Chris is just there and Annabeth comments about it. Its a passing thing. But what if... Right at the start of the season, when Percy had just been betrayed the last summer, is Chris' turn. That would mean Chris' friendship with Percy would need to be fleshed out more just to get the effect but imagine the suffering it'd cause all of us for seeing Percy go through this... TWICE

I love the hanahaki desease AU. The angst. The pining. The hurt/comfort. Or not. The happy ending. Or not. Every time, every flavor, it’s *chef’s kiss*.

So now, think about Ed starting to cough flowers after Stede left. Think about all the sunflowers on his pillow, because of course it’s sunflowers, a cruel reminder of what he has lost. Of the light, the sun that Stede was in his life and that he has lost on this fucking dock in the middle of a purple night.

And think about Izzy’s sheets covered in forget-me-nots. Think about his cheeks covered in tears, his lips covered in blood. His heart covered in open scars. He’s coughing and spitting forget-me-nots and he hates it, because it’s already too late. Ed loves stupid fucking Stede Bonnet and he’ll forget him at some point. Stede will come back, Ed will stop being sick, they will make a bouquet of all the sunflowers and Izzy will leave. And Ed won’t even notice it. Maybe some day, he’ll find the little blue flowers in Izzy’s cabin and he’ll understand. But it’ll be too late anyway.
