When Izuku Midoriya needed saving, it was Katsuki, Todoroki, and Iida who went rocketing across the sky to reach him.

Both times, our Twin Stars decided to set their own needs aside and allow the other’s trusted friend to take the lead in bringing them home. Izuku knew Kirishima was the right choice to get Katsuki away from the league quickly and safely, and Katsuki knew Iida was the better man for the job of catching up to Izuku and bringing him back.

Can we please just take a moment to appreciate the parallels. Please.

i like the way em takes a second to just stare at morty here. like he doesn’t immediately close the door, he takes enough time for morty to step a bit into the room, worriedly turn back and start walking close enough to him that he flinches when the door almost shuts on his face, to just stand and look at him for a bit before he thinks he’ll never see him again. ive probably mentioned this before but i really do think just purely from seeing the way he was arguing with rick and how he tried to convince him to team up against their ricks and rescue all the mortys together that evil morty has had a fondness for morty prime since Forever

look at the way they just stare at eachother the entire time the ricks are speaking both enamoured by eachother because they represent something the other could never do/have, morty being instantly interested in what em’s deal is because of the villainous nature of his rick and him and his constant unchanging glare, him having the confidence and authority that morty himself wishes to have, and vice versa because of him standing up to rick while still retaining that good-willed nature mortys usually naturally have which is something that evil morty lost and will likely never feel again

also. i know em likely didnt even see it but i love the idea that he purposely does the hands on hips stance So Much because of morty prime. look!!!

The only motel in town is miserable, but it's worse outside - heavy rain chokes out the sky. The brown-on-brown hall carpet had squidged unpleasantly underfoot as they'd come through to the room, which Dean can only hope was from the weather. 

The room itself has a faux outdoor tea party theme, for some goddamn reason. There's even a couple of inexpert, off-brand Alice In Wonderland characters looming over the walls. Maybe the owner got a deal on the painted metal outdoor furniture that's posing as breakfast table and chairs. The bed groans every time Dean shifts on the end of it, and the bathroom door doesn't shut properly. 

Cas isn't talking to him. To be fair, Dean isn't talking to him either. The tv is busted, naturally, and anything else they have to bring up is only going to start an argument. Cas is staring listlessly at the plastic bag of snacks Dean got from the Gas n Sip, and Dean is staring at Cas. Overbearing, sure, but Cas doesn't seem to care. 

He's slumped in a way that he never had as an angel, like the few strings left pulling him upright have been severed. His legs are spread open, one straight and one bent, and his chin rests on his fists - the kind of deeply uncomfortable looking comfortable position Dean had found himself in countless times. Cas's hair is frizzing, from the shower Dean coaxed him into, and the black-and-white flannel Dean gave him lifts every time Cas breathes. And he does breathe. Just like everyone else.
