WIP Questionnaire

Rules: answer as few or as many as you'd like!

1. What was the first part of your wip that you created?

TSP: Lexi was! TSP started out as a school project, and we had to create a character sheet for our first person narrator! That was "Alexia" who is now just "Lexi" (but her full name is still Alexia).

SOTL: The concept! "School for fairy tale characters" was basically it. I got discouraged a bit when I found out this concept already existed, but that didn't mean I couldn't do my own take!

2. If your story was a TV show, what would the theme song/intro be?

My favorite types of intros for TV shows are original theme songs or very catchy instrumental music. 30-60 seconds is a good length. I'd hope that for TSP and SOTL. Hope this isn't a cop-out.

3. Who are your favourite characters you've made? Why?

TSP: My favorite characters to write for are Lexi, Gwen, Akash, Robbie, and Carmen. Lexi because the arc I gave her is an exaggerated version of something that speaks a lot to me. Gwen because I wasn't expecting her to be as interesting as she ended up being planned to be. Robbie and Akash because of how funny and sweet their dynamic is. Yes, I love them separately, but they're a package set. Carmen because she's just so damn interesting I love studying her under a microscope.

SOTL: I am barely into writing it, but it's Jack at the moment. Shocker, he has three chapters while Tierney and Úrsula have one each! But the reason is that he is average at everything, but he doesn't let that get him down! He's funny and relatable and a dork.

4. What other pieces of media do you think would share a fan base for your story?

TSP: Hm, good question. The only thing coming to mind right now is Young Justice (the cartoon). Starts out with this fun group of kids, becomes extremely dark. Ensemble cast. Sneaking around. Superpowers. Fight scenes. Drama.

SOTL: Insert fairy tale retelling here.

5. What has been your biggest struggle with your wip?

TSP: Juggling everything. The world building, I guess. Making all the characters distinct was something I struggled at for a while, but I'm getting much better at it. Trying to figure out how the world works is challenging, but I am having fun. But juggling all the moving parts to make it cohesive is a challenge.

SOTL: What is plot?!! Also battling my ambition to do every fairy tale ever. I'm gonna have to make a lot of background characters that will get their own side stories separate from the main series to get all that I want. I probably will do that.

6. Are there any animals in your story? Talk about them!

TSP: Yep! Alium has a lot of fantasy creatures, animal hybrids, and fun things I just made up. Custos the dragon is the only truly prominent one right now. He's a blue fire dragon and is adorable. I also have kitsunes. Animal hybrids include unibison, ferretsnakes, cowyotes, beaverducks. Things I made up include the elemental foxes and blue hedgehogs.

SOTL: Hofiwi is an anthropomorphic bear! She was cursed to be anthropomorphic, this is not a normal thing in this world. I love her and she's just planned at the moment. Can't wait to do more.

7. How do your characters get around? (ex: trains, horses, cars, dragons, etc.)

TSP: Hovercrafts, dragons, teleporting, trains, and some other power-based travel

SOTL: I'm still figuring this out no one has gone anywhere yet. Dragons or carriages would be cool. Maybe I can mix them with something modern to fit the setting.

8. What part of your wip are you working on rn?

TSP: World building! Specifically the power database since that will be the backbone for everything.

SOTL: Reading fairy tales... I need to do that more

9. What aspects (tropes, maybe?) of your wip do you think will draw people in?

TSP: Powers, diverse cast, queer/disability rep

SOTL: same as TSP but fairy tales!

10. What are your hopes for your wip?

If I see one (1) fanart between either my life will be complete.

share some interesting fact about yourself: i went to a spanish speaking daycare when i was really young (like toddler aged) and then when i was like 7 i invented my own language (as one does) and half the words were just. spanish. my parents spent ages trying to convince me that i did not just come up w the word espagnol . i swear to god. and i was a stubborn know it all kid and i wasn’t gonna believe them on anything without irrefutable proof (and how do u prove that??) so their efforts were largely fruitless LOL

are you a picky eater? if so, what food can't you stand?: YES! texture issues my beloathed… i DESPISE melted cheese. blergh. bad bad vibes. and other funky textured cheeses… i literally just physically shuddered.

do you eat the burger and fries at the same time or one after another?: i consciously choose to eat burger first to get protein in. and THEN fries. if burger too hot then i get to eat two (must be even number) fries at a time until it cools enough to eat

winter or summer: summer <3 i love the beach i love the sun i love 6am runs where it’s already 75° i love swimming i love fun festivals. but also summer is a mindset . if it’s 65° in march im walking around in shorts and a tank top and sitting in the sun the entire day

The lore of Ever Changing Fates is a total mess rn but it's very fun to just kind of mess with

I kinda like throwing ideas out there and just bouncing off people and seeing what they come up with lmao

The general deal is:

Fates is a newer generation iterator, probably around the same age as Pebbles. Long after the Ancients vanished, he kind of just went.

"Fuck it. Fuck all of this, I hate all of this. I hate being in a damn cage, look at that weird little cat. It looks happy. Why can't that be me? I wanna be a carefree little creature. >:(" (but in a more lighthearted joking way, as he always is.)

And then immediately proceeded to hatch the most unhinged plan and experimentation process ever.

As a result, his local group......... wasn't impressed. (I will detail more about his group later!)

He did not take the discouragement and lack of support well, and ended up isolating himself to continue his work without their constant messages trying to convince him to stop.

This totally didn't have lasting affects. Totally.

He succeeded, he managed to make alterations like the ear-like antennae casing (used to protect the fragile antennae, as well as used for communication and bonding with the scugs), and the tail (for storage of neurons and whatever else he may need).

Those went well. The removal from his can...... less so. (I do have some rough sketches of it, but I may leave it as a little surprise if I ever get around to writing a comic or little drawings as responses to asks maybe?)

Needless to say, as energetic and bouncy as this little guy is, he has some secrets he's hiding. And he probably needs to rest and take care of himself far more than he would like to admit

Lucky for him, he has his two scugs to take care of him!

They were originally designed as messengers, both with skills based on stealth to allow them to travel back and forth without having to worry about fighting predators much.

The white scug, inspired by white lizards, was created first; though after an injury, Fates created another to help; the black scug.

After seeing how dangerous the path was, he designed the black scug after a mole lizard to help it work best in a new path through the darker regions of his local area, which seemed to be less inhabited. It worked well!

And, after detaching from his can, the two sort of just became guards for him.

(They don't have names yet, but I'm slowly working on it!! Suggestions are totally welcome lol. I'm thinking "Light Refracted, Countless Hues" for the white scug? Not sure for the black scug though)

Aaand not only that, but there is another companion who joins Fates on his adventures!

So this is Silent Observation (a prototype design of them at the moment), an iterator oc my friend actually made!

For some info on them, Silent is an iterator who was not part of Fates' group, but a neighbouring one. Fates stumbled upon their can, and managed to convince them to join him. Silent isn't great at resisting curiosity.

Silent is an interesting little character, who is almost always mute after their vocal systems were damaged by a group of scavengers who tried to take over their can. Silent often uses overseers to communicate simple messages, and can still make little beeps and humming noises, but not much else. They CAN talk, and

sometimes do, though it is quite painful and tends to break and skip over itself. So, they usually let chatty Fates do the talking.

And yes. Gay robots. They're lovers and we've dubbed their little ship name as clairvoyance (yknow, perceiving (observing) the future (fate)? credit to my friend for that great name idea!)

So yeah, after Fates vanished, chaos ensued— is he dead? Is he alive? Is he hurt? Where is he???

And then the sightings began. Clusters of slugcats, rushing by. One always slightly taller than the rest, built slightly differently—with garments, clothing. Purple, in green robes.

It couldn't be...

Yeah, he became a cryptid. The talk of the town, if you will. I'm sure Unparalelled Innocence was LOVING the gossip.

Especially when reports of a second creature joined; antennae, familiar robes, familiar markings.

Imagine someone suddenly sprouts wings, teaches one other person to sprout wings, and then starts flying around in front of you.

Naturally, absolute chaos. It was like Sliver of Straw's death all over again—but instead of it being about death, ascension, it was about the opposite. Life, descension, yet freedom.

Groups were divided; Those who believed it was them, and they had found a way to free themselves. Those who did not believe it was them, but it was something to be concerned about, to investigate. And those who did not believe it was anything of note at all.

(Note: this is set in a sort of AU where they find a way to slow Pebbles' rot, to stabilize Moon to a certain degree, and the group is talking again but still. Not doing the best, panicking and trying to find ways to help the two. Fates' big background-event could be the lightbulb above one of their heads to suggest the idea of tearing Pebbles and Moon from their cans to save them from their own dying bodies. Thanks, Fates lol

This AU doesn't focus on the main group much, more just my OCs. However the idea of them interacting is very fun, and I'm sure Fates' actions reach back to the main group and begin an off-the-string streak or at least have some kind of big effects lmao)

But yeah! That's a not-so-quick rundown of the beginning of this little group's adventures. I'll probably share more and detail how their lives go, how their relationship is and dynamics and certain scenes I've written about them—if I receive more asks maybe I could even try a little interactive thing I've seen others do (though I am. not much of an artist so we'll have to see lol). Regardless, I am so grateful for the excuse to talk about them a bit and I'll probably add some more on the others in Fates' group later on >:)

4. What's a word that makes you go absolutely feral?

I know there are words that make me go feral but I am drawing a blank rn. I'd know one if I saw one.

5. Do you have any writing superstitions? What are they and why are they 100% true?

If I don't write the entire fic before I post the first chapter, it will not be finished. You know the evidence already.

19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?

I've always been writing. I liked playing make-believe as a kid, and probably held onto those stories a lot longer than my peers. I thought the worlds in stories held so much wonder and possibility and more interest than the world I lived in. So when my peers became too old to play pretend with me, I turned to writing to continue to create those stories and exist within them.

I remember two books that got me interested in writing myself. One of them was called Sparrow Road, which was about a girl who spent the summer at an artist's retreat and met all these different artists who were working with different mediums to tell their stories. It was a place I wanted to go to. I can't remember the name of the other book, but it was about two girls who met in a treehouse by a river near their houses. They gave each other nicknames and wrote a book together and won a competition and got to travel to a University to take a summer writing workshop together. The two of these books left a big impact on me, not only by being good stories, but by showing me that people like me could write.

So I started writing. I wrote fanfiction before I even knew the name of it, mostly small scenes with a cooler version of me inserted into some cinematic universe with all my favorite characters from all my favorite media going on adventures together. I've always liked writing for large casts.

But I also wrote my own fiction. My seventh grade homeroom teacher was also an English teacher at the high school, and he was very kind to proofread and provide feedback on my scifi book I was writing. Looking back on it is embarrassing, but his encouragement meant I didn't stop writing.

Once I found out about fanfiction I pivoted more towards that. And that's been my main form of creative writing since early high school. Getting feedback and building a community around writing has been very encouraging for me, and I have definitely improved since I first stepped into the fanfic scene. But I'm also too scared to try and jump back to original works. Fanfic is hard because I eventually run out of what to say, but original work is hard because I never know what to say to start with. Right now, TML is the balance between for me, because it gives me more freedom on what to say and do without completely leaving the framework of another work. But that's got it's own difficulties, mainly the loss of a wide feedback group. Which would be completely gone if I jumped to regular original work. Ideally I'd like to publish something someday, but it's too far off for me to see how I'd get there.

hii i love your ocs they look amazing could you tell us more about them?

hihi if this is about the new sketches i just made then there's so much i could tell you about them and at the same time so little things to talk about..... but let's go you're in here for a ride this is gonna be long

So those ocs are from left to right: Eli, Gala, Gavriel and Loreto, all belonging to the same universe, but i've had them for so long that their stories and world building and everything has changed so many times that nothing about them makes sense really (and i'm considering changing everything again to be less fantasy,, maybe, idk). Let me tell you about each one of those in order now under the cut:

> Eli: full name Elijah but i'm considering changing it to Elías because i don't want any of my ocs to have an english name anymore. This one is my favorite of favorites, he is my babygirl and my wet piece of gargabe of a son <3 He's the main character of my oc world and any other oc i have revolves around him somehow. The thing about this guy is that he transforms into a dragon and this only makes sense because i made him when i was 13 (and i am 24 now), so please bear with me... i was an early teen and that was the coolest thing to me at the time... anyway everything about him, from his story to his appearance, has changed multiple times but i kept that trait (the dragon thing) because i think it's funny but it also makes me cringe every time i have to say it. Also he's my pfp. Sadly the only thing i can tell you rn about this guy's story is that he's been travelling and surviving on his own for -reasons- and meeting new people through his travels, nothing specific because, again, i might change everything

> Gala: probably the most recent one out of these four, still from 2017-ish so she's been around the block for quite a while already. She's one of the only who's story probably stayed the same through all these years. She's the daughter of a duchess who rules/controls over a region and its people, so high class, rich and likes to show it. She has an older brother who was one of my favorite ocs for a while. In relation to the oc stories, Eli had to work for her family for some time and they grew close together, even though he was there to just do chores around the house. Gala doesn't have any friends due to her position and appreciates the company of someone her age even if it's a house worker and lower class. She's just a plain human tho, nothing fantasy or magical about her.

> Gavriel: or Gav/Gavi for short. I made this guy around 2016 for a roleplay group thingy and eventually, when that thing ended, i threw him into the pit that is this oc universe because i liked his design. He and Loreto (girl on his right) are both orphans and grew together as siblings. He had some weird "powers" i don't know how to describe without a doodle for you to get an image of it, but the origin of those has changed so many times already i don't even remember most of it. In older iterations of his story he had been experimented on and that's kind of how he got it i think?? his sister thought the experiment was gonna be good for him but it just fucked him up (i know this makes no sense i'm very sorry)

> Loreto: the older out of ALL of my current ocs, the first drawing i made of her was in 2011/2012 i believe, she belonged to another oc universe, looked far different and had another name, but i rescued her for this one because, again, i liked her design. She's around 15 years older than Gav and used to be like the mayor? of a town? She was more of a villain without meaning it really, that's the only backstory thing i remember about her right now, sorry. Also, she's missing half an arm and sometimes uses a mechanical arm as a substitute but it obviously doesn't work the same as a real arm. Gav braids her hair every morning since she can't do it by herself.

So.... guess who started playing FFXIV... (free trial ofc) which meaaannnsss I have a new OC to be insane over.

Her name is Elysia Vespera, a runaway Au Ra who abandons her noble family in Hingashi to travel the world

Her real name is Akari Shimizu, her older brother, Soma, sits at the head of their family ever since their father died from sickness. Don't worry, she doesn't care lol. She resents her family for pitting her against her brother and ultimately trying to marry her off against her will.

Anyways, kind of not happy with the in game hairstyles so this is how I draw her

She's kinda vain lol. She grew up a noble so she very much still has that princess like, "I get everything I want" disposition. Very into fashion and jewelry, she is simply Eorzea's itgirl. She's also a white mage as you can tell by the first image, so she does ofc still care abt other people.

In particular, she's BFFs with @asoundofdrop's OC Saji

Timeline's a mess but basically they come as a duo do not separate them plz. They're the best tank and healer duo anyone could ask for :D. They go through the MSQ together (we're both still on A Realm Reborn rn that shit is LONG) and there are timelines where either one of them dies when the Scions get attacked by Livia Junius but we're not getting into that rn <3

Anyways onto character relationships so far:

Drop is whipped as all hell for Thancred so Saji x Thancred is a thing and Elysia is not particularly thrilled about it lol. Her and Thancred don't exactly get along lmao. Elysia just kinda thought he was a fuckboy at first but they begin to get along after they save Thancred from Lahabrea. She still bullies him though.

I like to think her and Y'shtola get along very well, like just two girlies that could kill you <3. Except ik Y'shtola becomes a black mage later on so she would not be thrilled about the whole sitting inside AOEs thing... (i am kinda playing with making them a thing bc Y'shtola is kinda 👀 and would put Elysia in her place...)

Now, Elysia's egotistical ass LOVES a man that is absolutely down bad for her. Thus, Haurchefant. I'm not gonna lie to you I am ashamed to admit that I am quite down bad for Haurchefant after seeing him for all of five minutes in ARR. To the point where I spoiled (some) of the story for myself so shut up I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS ;-;. They're kinda knight x princess dynamic and I am so insane abt them you don't understand. You should see my discord messages. Anyways uh Haurchefant falls first but Elysia falls harder that is all you need to know. Also, size difference.

Anyways I'm having lots of fun with FFXIV and my new child <3. I love her to bits and I can't wait to lewd and/or traumatize her.

My hopes for nightbringer!!

I hope that the events will be spread out easier, right now they have too many ideas and it's burning people out trying to catch up with ap and get cards. My hope is that there will be longer periods between game events and nightmare events

I hope that the gameplay isn't as much as a grindhell as the OG. The rythym game sounds more digestible than the dance battles (hatehatehatehatehatehatethem)

I hope that being able to see the outfits in 3d will be helpful for understanding the character designs!! (with exception of the red cape on the uniform) the amount of times that I've went to look for complete turn around of the characters and there wasnt any good results..... Yes, it'll limit some details, but overall, I'm looking forward to seeing how the characters interact when it's not 2d (how they stand, how they talk, ect.)

hi!! my artfight is pyjamac same as on here i haven't got everything set up for this year yet though… i am a mountain goats fan though not as much as my brother haha. that drawing is of my oc sal and my boyfriend @/invasato's oc ellie! they're these two guys who work for a us independent agency that's in charge of regulating supernatural creatures and happenings (like imagine if the usps or amtrak was the x-files right it's that). they travel the country and kill monsters, or just give them a stern talking to. they were assigned to each other as partners after sal was injured and had to take several months off and his former partner was reassigned and ellie's partner was killed. sal's this recovering charlatan type like he's really only concerned with making it from one moment to the next which gets him in a lot of trouble a lot of the time bc mostly he's just out here entertaining himself. he has this idea of himself as really high class really sophisticated but in a really outdated way he got from tv as a kid and mostly an act to distance himself from his upbringing in very rural farmland ny lol. ellie is my boyfriend's oc and xe'd do a better job telling you about her but to me she's a really genuine really sweet extremely pathetic person. he has a curse also which contributes to the boths of them's perpetually on the run from something nature…… they're very good friends they're bffs and they also have a weird gay thing going on being that ellie is hopelessly desperately in love w sal and sal likes him too and is really possessive of ellie in a non heterosexual way but ultimately too emotionally neutered to really know what that feeling is and too fixated on "not being tied down" to do anything about it if he did (like he has an idea but mostly it's like yeah i think she's hot but unfortunately then it would be weird between us so i can't oh well no other options). their story exists as a tv show in our heads and we have episodes so something does happen between them it just does take a whole season and then like well into season 2 to talk abt it lol. anyway there will be no divorce… i think black pear tree is really sal i think he has a lot of that feeling like well it's only a matter of time. also genesis 30:3… :•( which i know is like actually very explicitly abt a specific story but whatever like ellie would truly do anything for sal even though he's often kind of bad to him/takes advantage of this.

I actually don't know if I have specific answers to the travel questions, as my family doesn't really travel. And when we do it's specifically to visit family, and we happen to stop at other places along the way sometimes. But out of those I'd say my favorite would be the Cabin. My great-grandparents own a cabin on a lake up in Minnesota, so when we visited family more often we'd go there and swim and see our cousins. Last time we were there we had a seaweed fight (cause it's a lake) and nailed my cousin Oliver in the face, which was excellent. Though I did also enjoy playing on the farm (other side of the family) as a kid and helping feed the calves. I really don't have a lot of travel experience to draw on and it's frequently stressful, but the Cabin is the best answer I have to that question!

As for places I want to travel, I'd say Mexico is pretty high on the list. I'm Mexican, but I've only ever been once when I was four, and I'd like to go back so I can actually remember it. A college nearby has a study abroad opportunity that tours the various ruins and historical sites (think Aztec), so I think something like that but maybe if I could do it outside of school and just for the enjoyment would be my ideal trip. Other than that I'd probably just follow along wherever my partner went, as they like to travel more than me.

The mysterious orange powder!! I'm. How did you even. Either you have a great memory or you were looking very far back in my posts because I don't think I posted about that recently. I think the mystery orange powder was some form of borax? We don't have it anymore so I can't confirm but it was like. Really granulated and light orange and didn't look like borax. But the suspicious box it was in was labelled borax, but that was a handwritten label in sharpie so I don't know if I really trust it. As for what happened when I set it on fire, fire happened!! My phone is being annoying and not letting me access the video I have saved of it and I don't remember which substance had the biggest reaction, but I do know that I got a pretty solid orange, yellow, blue, and purple flame. The only chemical I can remember rn is that sodium-free salt is what made the purple and the blue was just hand sanitizer. Red and green were unsuccessful but also I was doing it with chemicals any person can get their hands on. I couldn't easily access lithium or copper to get red and green. Did get to set those on fire in class a month or two ago tho :)

and I have not gotten a bad burn before!! I get small ones from time to time because sometimes I forget that you're not supposed to touch hot things and then I do and get little baby burns on my hands--the toaster oven is the source of most of these tbh. I do also have a habit of accidentally pouring boiling water on my fingers too. For instant noodles in a cup where you hold back the lid a little and pour in hot water, sometimes I'm overzealous and pour too aggressively and it gets on my fingers. But I don't usually feel it for some reason. Like I can feel that I just poured water on my fingers, but it doesn't register as hot despite it literally steaming, so that's the closest to bad burns I've got!!

Kinda the same situation with the worst injury situation, as I don't really have one! I've gotten injured throughout my life, but there's no noteworthy injury I can give. I can say that I used to have blisters on my hands all of the time as a kid. I loved the monkey bars and spider bars and anything else I could climb on (I got told off from time to time because I'd climb things I wasn't supposed to), so my hands were always absolutely destroyed despite having calluses. My mom will also occasionally tell me about the time I, as a toddler, fell face first through a bench--one of the kinds that has a bottom and a back but no in between, like this--onto the ground and had a bruise for weeks on my face.

But yeah I really don't think I have a "worst injury" because I haven't really gotten hurt. I think my mom has the most interesting worst injury in my family, cause she got her three front teeth kicked out in a game of hackysack when she was 12-ish.

i am so sleepy rn and bad at explaining things most of the time so idk if my ramble makes sense... very very long post ahead though!

so, say that her arm gets sliced and it bleeds she can control the form of the blood, like shape it like a blade perhaps! or a wing. when she controls her blood, the blood can be molded into a solid state. if she wants to form a big blade with her blood, then she has to draw out more blood from the wound. then she can make a big blade and cut her enemies down with it

she can only control the blood that bleeds out of her body. she often wounds herself for the purpose of manipulating her blood. she's used to feeling pain, or at least used to suppressing it. she has passed out a few times for using too much blood and she probably needed a blood transfusion once

note that she can only control the blood that's directly coming out of her. she can't just carry out some bags of her own blood and convert those into weapons whenever danger comes near. she really has to make herself bleed

I've been rather fixated on the story she's part of—ive been temporarily calling it "ladies of the flies" (like a fem version of Lord of the flies). let me explain the premise. basically: a class of the most smart and brilliant students in an all girls school disappears one day. everyone forgets about them and their existence. but what happens to the girls?

the girls wake up in an alternate dimension. their school is suspended in the void, lost. this begins their adventure to discover the other dimensions they can travel to, and find their way home. although their goals change along the way as conflicts rise between them—Oh Yeah Also They They Get Powers In The Alternate World. each girl gets one special power

this story is based loosely on Yellowjackets, and based heavily on the anime Sonny Boy. because look okay i just love the concept of it all. i love the concept of girls going crazy, unstable relationships, violent coming of age stories, dark magic, whatever the fuck those two shows have going on -

you see though, shalom is a special case. Shalom Actually Isn't From The Class. she kinda just appeared our of nowhere but everyone assumes she's part of the class (and they don't question the fact they can't fucking remember her) except for one girl, who knows for a fact that there is something off about shalom. that girl, her name is paz, YES BOTH OF THEIR NAMES MEAN PEACE, becomes shalom's best friend/assistant blah blah, develops a crush on her, i wont go too much into it

as for shalom's personality though, she's a very calm and friendly person, violence actually isnt her first option every time conflict happens. she acts as a sort of leader for 1 of the 2 main groups that divide the girls, and the ones on her side are very loyal to her. because she's just that type of person. she's very calculating though, and she has such STRONG determination that it's enough to scare anyone

- Right now, a severe obsession with Greek Mythology because of the PJO series and I'm also reading the Iliad after reading Song of Achilles (no, i cannot under any circumstances be normal about him and Patroclus.)

sorry for a later response i’ve been at a family christmas event all day 🥲

i didn’t even know there was an inxs tv series? i’ll have to check that one out!

glamfest lineup just came out about an hour ago as i’m writing this and the lineup is killer! slaughter and lynch mob are headlining which is awesome so i think i may just get vip… no michael monroe but thats ok! if he comes to australia separately that’d still be cool but if not it’s fine

i think my favourite type of piercing to do on other people is a helix piercing at this stage, but on myself my fav is just any type of nose piercing, bc i can do anything with them!

& yeah it sucks that ultraphobic - under the influence is just so widely unavailable its like they just kinda want people to see their discography go from dog eat dog to born again which sucks because theres so much good stuff on ultraphobic, belly to belly & even the few new songs on greatest and latest (bad tattoo, keeping up with the jones, southern comfort) like… pls warrant i beg of u to let me listen

i had some fun doing drawings of shiny stuff - cutlery specifically i guess??? i think that was fun! & yea the silly shirts were also fun! i made one for my dad that just said “i am bald” which he hates but i think it’s hilarious

for the meantime travel is going to have to wait because i am saving for a surgery but i am hoping to see a tattoo artist in melbourne victoria to do a portrait tattoo eventually! in europe i’d love to see some ancient stuff & i’d also like to see some of italy’s vineyards :)

it’s actually summer right now for australia so aside from the general christmas present buying stress i’m actually not too bad rn it’s june-august where i get more stressy but again time zones and hemispheres are wacky so i understand the mixup - my birthday is feb 11! so a month and a half away!

summer is sooooo hot rn it was 38° yesterday (100° if you’re a fahrenheit user) i was just laying in the aircon sweating my ass off waiting for the heat to take me out but thankfully it wasn’t AS bad today

if i could talk to any musician… i’ll give you two answers because you didn’t specify dead or alive

dead: jani lane bc i love him and i think we’d relate on a lot of things

alive: patrick stump from fall out boy because he seems like such a sweet and intelligent guy and fall out boy got me through a lot of my teen years and i also think he’d get me

i do play a few instruments! bass is my main one that i’m best at but i also play guitar (planning on restarting lessons in the new year now that i have a job that pays me better), piano (sometimes), ukulele (again sometimes), and i have background playing small wind instruments (recorder, harmonica). i would love to learn the drums though! i also (try to) sing a bit but only rly in front of ppl when i’ve been drinking a bit and we do karaoke

christmas is the same every year really, we do a couple of extended family events in the lead up & then on christmas eve we each get to open ONE thing from under the tree. on christmas day we have lunch/dinner with my mums side of my family, which switches between three houses (our house, aunts house, mums cousins house). we do a secret santa for gifts at this but if you’re under 18 you get a present from every family. we used to go to church on christmas eve but since my dad’s not religious and me and my sister kinda stopped believing & my mum isn’t rly a fan of the catholic church as an organisation (shes still christian she just doesnt like the church) we dont do that anymore)

sometimes we drive around on christmas eve and look at the lights that people put up on their houses! a lot of people do that in my area btw just in case that sounds creepy
